This is actually the worst moving company I’ve ever used. Please think twice. Their quotation appeared amazing and now I know why folks say cheaper isn’t necessarily less expensive. Their estimate was for 5-6 hours using three movers at $150 an hour. I had a couple of other moving companies I was speaking to, but my buddy personally known me to this business, and nobody could beat this speed. The business came to my home and did a stroll to the quotation. He saw everything that I had at the home, which I largely moved everything but furniture, myself. And we went through a thorough list of what they could actually be shifting, because I intended to do all it myself. The listing of things that they really did move was less than what I had on their the day of the transfer. Therefore, the day of the movement came. All looked ok in the beginning. Pretty much all but four furniture things were outside and I told them that the sofas will only match the back door. I’m 9 months pregnant and needed to go break, but had been wondering why the trucked was not prepared to move (my fault for not micromanaging them) and come back to find that they’ve my sofa wedged from the stairway of their front door. I advised them that I specifically told you that the sofa couldn’t undergo the front door, so that they advised me it does not match the trunk. I stated that is the way it arrived in, so we went back into the rear door that they tried again. It does not operate, so then after a half hour of talking about how it does not work they chose they ought to flip it upside down and try again. Oh, magically that functioned. Then another piece did not fit due to the railing. So I just suggested they take off the railing. Well, come to learn, they charged me an additional hour to select the railroad off, which required 5 minutes to shoot 5 and off to place back on, while I saw. As soon as I got to my new house, I’d tell the first man who quoted me that I had been about the first floor, come to find out I am really on the second floor, and so that part has been my fault, however they said I am on the next floor. My flat number is 26. Its the next floor. The next floor is numbered from the threes. They get my furniture in and I see among my agencies is ruined. So afterwards, all was completed, I had been nearly two hours over quote with ruined furniture. I am grateful I proceeded as much material myself that I did. The business provided me a measly $50 for the ruined furniture and advised me a quotation is merely a quote. So after spending nearly $300 more than I had been quoted and today had damaged furniture, I go out side hours later to discover that they left my toolbox outside. They had been using it to secure the door open and if they left, they just kicked it out of their way to close the door, and then left it out to the curb. Incredible! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I’d have rather used the more expensive business and that I likely would have paid less and would not have ruined furniture.
