    Long-distance move from Tennessee
Move from Tennessee to South Carolina

This movement proved to be a entire disaster. The intial pickup was scheduled for Tuesday between 12:00 and 2:00. The driver never called until the following day. We eventually settled on the next day Thursday. We had been advised by WWVL to have a cashiers check or money. The driver wanted money before he even picked up the load. Following the shipping to South Carolina he jeopardized my sister in law, stating he wouldn’t unload the truck before the cash was paid. He eventually unloaded the truck. Now after reviewing the merchandise, he forgot that the headboard as well as the china cupboard, which have been indicated on the contract. Now I have both of these things still in Tennessee. I’ve sent 4 emails and 5 telephone calls without a yield from Lance. They had been unethical, deceitful, and quite unprofessional. From this 10 to 15 occasions I’ve moved, this is without question the worst experience ever.

    BAD MOVERS!

Deal was for 10,000 pounds and my son may have gotten 6,000 pounds. We aren’t sure about the burden, since the motorist skipped out to the pounds after unloading. We waited patiently for Kyle at Orientation Truck Stop, since he desired the Cat Scales, however he never revealed. He received his money and conducted. Alamo Storage and Moving was supposed to pick up him on May 26th, however they got his items around June 4th. He even got lie after lie. He’s currently having to invest an additional $1,500 bucks to get a uhual, since they didn’t move all of this things. He transferred in MO to AZ with 4 children and also was there for nearly two weeks awaiting his possessions. That is slipping!!! Don’t Use WORLDWIDE VAN LINES OR ALAMO MOVING & STORAGE from Euless, TX

The mover truck would not start

This is the worst experience, of our own lives, 1st thing that they arrived about 5 hours late. The driver didn’t have a hand truck nor a furniture dolly, therefore he needed to utilize heads, which I’d no problem.During the loading of the vehicle, the driver finds out that the truck battery was dead, but he waited till he complete loading the truck,to be worried about getting it began. He moved to about 8 home in my area, in 10PM to find jumper cables. After obtaining the truck began, I needed to stick to the truck into a weight reduction, in which I found out I needed to pay an additional $2500. . YES thats RIGHT, $2500. After that, we had been told that the truck could be in New Orleans on this Saturday involving 2Pm and 4PM, he revealed Monday at 7AM. There’s much, MUCH more I could say about the business, but yet another main thing that I need to say, which is, this motorist had satanic tatoos all over his spine, which was VERY OFFENSIVE for my loved ones. . This is the BIGGEST NIGHT MARE in movement I ever needed. OH by the way, His truck require a leap in New Orlean too!!!

    Long-distance move from Minnesota
    Cross Country Move

World Wide Van Lines is THE worst business I’ve ever dealt with. We created a cross country move from MN to FL and have been searching for movers. This firm contacted us through email and gave us a cost after requesting US to gauge the burden of our products. BIG MISTAKE! We knew nothing about weight quotes and estimated quite low.   The arrangement comprises quite ambiguous language (pity on us there for not only reading it carefully enough) WE really had a lawyer look at it after the fact- and while its not prohibited speech – it allows them to jack up your invoice ALOT!   After all our stuff was packed and about the vehicle we find out our bill went up over $5000 in the initial quote. We spent almost two months attempting to negotiate a fair price with this corporation. The team chief  (who arranges the truck paths ) was rude and yelled at us on the telephone. Nothing short of verbal abuse. Attempting to contact someone in the primary office was a lesson in frustration. If you left a message nobody would return a telephone. The very first time we predicted it took 4 days to get a live person. Follow up calls with requests to speak with a supervisor again have been dismissed. We had a call back from a manager one time, who promised to’look into it’ and then didn’t call back. The pick up time was a 1 1/2 times late-resulting from the buyers of the house seeking to move in at precisely the exact same moment. They needed to postpone delivery of the pod that was embarrassing! While the men packing the truck were fine enough- It took 10 hours to load a little truck and also our items were  already packed. The weather turned bad and boxes were left outside from the rain and got wet, requiring that things be repacked. 1 term – NIGHTMARE.   By there-Our things went into storage and we had been told by 3 distinct people that it had been in 3 distinct places – Pennsylvania, Chicago and Youngstown OH. No one understood what was happening! We were starting to wonder if we’d also get OUR things back! We called to organize a shipping on Dec 3 and we had been advised it takes two weeks. Dec 22 (20 days after ) our things have finally arrived.-and figure what -WE have been billed for additional storage period. Tried to speak to the crew leader about this to find a decrease in price which led to him yelling at me nearly immediately-he refused to hear and proceeded to the point at which I hung him up. He’s dumb, unprofessional and impolite. Our expertise generated from our own naivety and lack of understanding about movers/moving businesses that I completely accept. But, I would like to attempt to prevent the exact same heartache and frustration to get somebody else. Do NOT use the firm for transferring your things.   How they stay in business is beyond me. And when a person out of World Wide Van Lines contacts you- don’t react to them! You will regret it for the rest of your lifetime

    Long-distance move from Hawaii
    Worst Nightmare Ever

Tried Moving from Arizona back into New Hampshire. Paid residue, scheduled for 21 June and no one ever revealed until the conclusion of this 48 grace period. No thought along with a Budget truck revealed finally after two days wait then proceeded to double our quotation. Tried to bill an extra 300.00 for packaging 3 mirrors as well as our TV that was presumed to be coated in the prices. After arguing it over using the Agency he made a decision to depart which was ok. We obtained a Uhaul and also did it all ourselves in roughly two hours. Do not waste your money or time. Will be amazed if we could get our deposit back of $250.00

World Wide Van lines is a rip off, DO NOT USE THEM.

I contacted World Wide Van lines to get a coming move. The Guy I speak to has been Mitch and he marketed it according to weight movement and Quoted 1687.00 using a 576.00 deposit. This sales person even encouraged me to adhere to the truck into a weight channel so I would be aware of what the burden was along with the rest of the cost. He offered this cost and stated that I perhaps would find a discount. The day of the relocation a third party moving firm showed up in the doorway and desired 2100.00, this didn’t incorporate the 576.00 that I paid on World Wide Van lines. I had been put in the place to either cancel or choose the task, I had been in a situation in which I needed to escape this house. So I enabled this 3rd party moving business pack up my stuff. They were really pretty good I managed to find the cost down to 1600.00 bucks. However, I still lost the 576.00 into World broad, whom seemingly takes your cash simply to enter it into a pc bidding system to additional moving businesses to run on. I tried phoning World Wide and has been hung up on, moved to a sterile extension. Even had a dude name Michael behave like he had been a manager. I got understand where with those individuals. 1 man gave me a name of Darrel at expansion 405 allegedly a General Manager. Whom I predicted but yet to be given a call backagain. These folks will rip off you take your cash that doesn’t apply to a moving price.

    DON'T USE THIS COMPANY

Not only were my movers fully unprofessional however they ruined nearly all of my own furniture. I registered a claim for this in May 2012 and they’ve yet to pay me anything. Whenever I phone, that I needed to pretend for a brand new costumer going a move simply to find a person to speak to me personally, they provide this joyful gratifying run around. They never return my calls. I am convinced I will not see a dime to my ruined furniture and I would rather haul all of my possessions on my back afterward ever hire them again.

    SCAM NEVER USE

I obtained a quotation and secured it in for 1600.00 for my transfer out of Arizona to Massachuetts. I had been told everything was contained and they didn’t subcontract and just transferred one home each truck. The movers showed up, mind that they were subcontractors, with the other persons household at the trunk. They said nothing was contained when I predicted globally they said nothing was contained I would need to cover wrap & tape. While I had been talking to these, the drivr called his boss that told me either I cover them 2500.00 or else they abandon my things on the front lawm and won’t move my items. Being a single mother and doing so alone Iagreed simply to get my things cross country. This is, June 27, 2011, my furniture has been picked up on May 20th and I still do not have my possessions! The dispatchers at internationally never call me back, the drivers wont call me backagain. I don’t have any idea were my items are, even if I could possibly get them and my entire life is about the truck! Mind you, my 8 month old infant (going to be 9 weeks ), my 7yr old daughter and I have been sleeping on an airmatress and pack n play for a month! All these people today ae heartless and scam artists. . I’ll Be reporting my items stolen

    Would not leave me alone!

I requested to be removed from the telephone and email list several times, and eventually got nasty on the telephone now. After I hung up, I’d 10, yes 10, emails instantly from Susan. Exactly the identical email. Certainly trying to press my buttons. I answered that I’d told her I wasn’t curious, and because of their disrespect and lack of concern when phoning numerous times daily, at all hours of the day, I would utilize a moving business that price double before I ever used them. I got this jewel in return:

“I am sorry you are feeling how you do. If you’d have sent an email letting me know that you weren’t INTERESTED some time back, I’d have eliminated you from our listing. You never said that you weren’t INTERESTED. Thank you a lot for your unvalued remark however. Fantastic luck.

    Respectfully,
    Susan”

Great to see that the possible client’s opinions is unvalued! Like I said, I told her several times I was not curious. Either she’s horrible in her job/checking she or she simply does not care! There is a reason that each and every individual who testimonials gives this poor excuse for a business one star!

NEVER USE WORLD WIDE VAN LINES

After several quotations, I determined Worldwide,BIG MISTAKE.I had been quoted $965. I desired the choice up on 12/29. Tried calling customer support several times but never really talked to anybody. Eventually contacted shipment on 12/28, inquiring if they knew about when the pickup could be made. The representative said she’d speak to the manager to examine and call me back, no return call. Could not find anybody on the day of pickup, never got a call in the driver when they were still coming. Eventually got a call to the 30th, Daniel from United Van Lines stating they’d pick up either the 31st or the 1st. Concerned, I asked if the delivery could be drawn up from the 4th as requested when booked.Said he’d call his manager and phone back, not called me backagain. After United Van Lines eventually showed up at 3pm on the 30th, they seemed in the loading and advised this movement would cost at least $2500, 2 1/2 times exactly what we had been quoted.  WHAT!!! I gave WWVL a comprehensive inventory checklist, the quoted contained all petrol, loading, unloading, padding, blanket wrap was comprised.  Daniel advised that they must charge an extra fuel surcharge, wrap and the quotation we received wasn’t properly calculated and the transfer could cost $2500. We shipped them away rather than utilized them.NEVER USE WORLDWIDE VAN LINES. Our son is going back to college and this firm really screwed up things, let alone is now going to make us invest alot more.  However there was no way we were going to invest that much greater than quoted.  I’m sorry for anybody who entrusts this business to move anything!

    Furniture move

I had difficulty getting my furniture out of my first shipper. I contacted World Wide and that he said he can help me out. I gave him a list checklist he gave me a quotation. He never told me that he had been a broker. When the movers showed up to pick up my belongings, they explained that it would cost me an extra $5000.00. I had been quoted by weightreduction. The mover explained that he was a specialist and knew that my furniture weighed twice as far as I had been quoted. He refused to load my furniture and left me high and dry. My spouse and I attempted calling World Wide to receive back our money. We known for hours, no one would answer the telephone and we kept having an answering machine. After we eventually got to speak to somebody they kept putting us on grip and hanging up. We had to threaten them with all the government, and they finally said we’d get our cash credited back. We are going to see.

    Beware

I contacted WWVL at December 2011. I talked with Charles. He gave a quotation and that I faxed from the stock sheets. I had been quoted 567.00 for its deposit along with the bal will be due upon delivery. They debited my account and all I needed to do was wait, March 9 2012 for pickup. The evening before somebody calls me to state that they won’t be able to pickup until Saturday. Let me not neglect to mention that my rent is up and that I must be out by Monday. Saturday comes and goes, no telephone nothing. I keep calling the organization and keep getting the run around. The movers arrive Monday at a funding truck. A large guy and guy from Isreal, The large man sits in my sectional like we had been old pals. The guy from Isreal informs me that I’ve far more burden and that he can not pack up me until I give him 4500.00 money! I immediately call the company and they inform me if I am over I will pay every pound. While I am on the telephone with WWVL that the Isreali guy is on the telephone with hIs boss talking Hebrew. He hangs up and tells me his boss told him to depart. He can not pack out me at weight reduction they won’t create cash. Meanwhile WWVL provides me the run around. No one callled me back and once I eventually got thru candy Charles chased me out. The one thing I am greatful for is that they did refund my deposit within two days. Here is the WORST company I’ve every dealt with. I’d tell anybody to remember and remain far away!

    Total SCAM. WWVL subcontracts local

Alright, my critique is about 5 weeks late, but this encounter was so deeply flagrant I must write an overview.
My family (wife & infant ) was going from NJ into Indiana and after a very long hunt, WWVL appeared to supply the very best rate along with also the salesperson dave was quite professional, cordial, and beneficial. This was April 2012. I’d awarded dave my cc# as he stated they’d charge $600 first deposit within 3 months.
I’d about 6000 pounds of things, not too much furniture aside from a somewhat big king bed, large sectional, credenza and dining table. Everything else was similar to ikea office desk, ikea bookshelves, futon, etc and our 200 boxes which we packaged, inventoried, and numbered, and place down at the 1st-floor garage per day or so prior to the scheduled pick up date in the end of July 2012.
My concern first began when WWVL didn’t take the $600 first deposit even after a month, and dave was nowhere to be attained. Came June when he eventually wrote back saying he had some household situation which I need not be worried about the deposit since they will take it before moving. A bit bemused at the disorganization, but what the hell… I am sure they will take their charges so that I let it all go.
Afterward real concern began closer to the moving date in the end of July when I got a call from a manager man, I will call him Keith, and we talk about the true date. Things appear to go fine but soon sours when I don’t get a reply back from him. He was stating how first date seems a little difficult and all, and understanding that they subcontract movers (I had been advised by dave and now did not think a lot of it… Big mistake!) Just a little flexibility in transferring date was clear.
However, a day turned into three times with no callback. Their support amount constantly states they are busy, but if you call them on Sunday night it states exactly the identical thing that clearly tells me that they simply bring the message. I had been becoming somewhat desperate as 7/31 was the very first day of my lease in. I have to’ve left some 30 voicemails to support, mainline, as well as Keith himself. When I eventually got a hold of a human being, a girl, I voiced my frustration and she looked really concerned and said she would look after the matter. I did receive a call back from Keith afterwards, and he noticed my frustration and assured me he is working on procuring movers and that he will call me backagain. Again, no telephone for a complete day or 2!
Last, the scheduled afternoon came and went, we had been delayed by a day and a half when Keith calls me nicely late in the day and informs me a few dude is close to the region and may come up us. It had been just like 6 pm and once I talked to this dude, it was a 1 man with a few van. Not sure, I refused and asked Keith to get a group, as I lived on the 3rd floor up two flights of stairs and there was no way even a he-man was gont move my king mattress down the stairs by himself. Another day goes by, we are only living from our couple boxes (the remainder of 200 boxes were already locked from the 1st-floor garage due to wife & my back-breaking work) and finally, we receive a call, again nicely in the day, from a Ramon? Character. These 3 Hispanic guys appear, looks round the apt and then I take them down into the garage to reveal them garage filled with 200 boxes. Never to be cared for, I put out the terms – and inquire about the weighing following loading, and weighing following unloading along with also the $1800 for your 6100lbs deal. Then this man starts talking crap – that he goes how he copes with cubic feet, something dave himself told me that additional movers perform and is a scam, and I knock it down, then”No cubic feet, pounds” and they looked somewhat uneasy, and that he just kind of murmurs over matters with the men in Spanish, also says there is a good deal of things and that this can be a very major move. And because it is overdue, how about they start loading their van up using these boxes? Their larger truck could come the following day, ” he explained. At the moment, I automatically refused. I said let us talk upstairs and I closed and locked the garage.
Once upstairs, we sat at the kitchen to go over cost as there were disagreements. He essentially flat out ignored whatever contract I had with them (did not even ask to see it once I attempted to reveal it) and said”Ah. This is a truly large movement. It is likely to cost $7500″
$7500? [EDIT]? What’s this guy smoking? And seriously, a major move? Only 1 king bed, sectional, credenza, dining table? It is pretty much only me & my spouse and we did not have a lot of furniture in this two bedroom flat. I said that’s ridiculous and that I am going by the contract, nothing else.
The major henchman speaks with his minions in Spanish again then goes,”We will provide you best price – that I will get it done for $5500″, as though he is giving me the very best price ever…! Abhorred, I simply told him,”No deal, sorry for the time however I will not be with you guys. Please leave.”
At that, they looked confused. Confused that they could not scam us to submission. [EDIT]. They had been nothing short of burglars. They reluctantly went downstairs, and they remained talking out for quite a very long moment. I was worried they could damage my car parked in the front of the garage or something. Afterwards, a major truck did encounter, and some motorist dude got off and they remained talking for a minimum of 30 minutes, which makes my wife quite nervous and that I almost wanted to call the cops.
I’m normally fine with reading reviews and such, and I don’t have any idea why I didn’t look them up first because as it happens, there are thousand unwanted articles and warnings concerning WWVL. Seriously, I really don’t understand how they still exist. The office people behave like the nicest folks on the planet and connect us to subpar thugs… And that I can not understand that these office folks are oblivious to what is really going on, but instead, they are exactly the very same thugs as the builders that appear. I am rather happy I did not permit them to load my boxes as when I had and that they left for the night, it is clear that they’d hold my boxes hostage another morning asking me to cover up $7500! $7500! When agreed cost was $1800.
Thieves. Scumbags. WWVL has to be shut down instantly.

    DISHONEST UNETHICAL MOVERS

Horrible, unethical business I had the chance to ever deal with in my whole life. You won’t spend more with the other trustworthy firm like Bekins or even Mayflower. Worldwide Van Lines offers you an appealing estimate then sells your purchase to federal inspector that comes in your house, jacks up the price between $800 – $2000 per cubic ft. for climbing a few stairs, including wrap blankets, tapes that incidentally is at the quotation already.; then turns around and sells the purchase to Cardinal Movers. All my items came in rather poor shape, lamps broken, vases and mirrors broken. My toolbox, an extremely costly carpeting, tools boxes plus a good deal of stuff just vanished. It is so sad, maybe it doesn’t mean anything into the movers however they’re my investment possessions and mean a great deal to me personally and my children. They chose up my things two days after the genuine pick-up date following a lot of telephones calls; subsequently delivered my home products 29 days after, once I’d threatened to report them on the authorities. They act as a fly by night business, no morals, no values, no pride in performing their own job. The so called director Darly Lawson using Worldwide Van Lines never returns calls and will be constantly away from his desk or in lunch. The dispatcher called David Anderson in National Movers advised me that a pair of lies each time I’d called. He even lied that they don’t own a tracking invent and can’t find my merchandise until the motorist calls in. It had been my worse nightmare and going experience. I’ve moved abroad out of Malaysia/Singapore/Hong Kong and also had an excellent smooth encounter rather than one thing was ruined or broken. However, together with Worldwide Van Lines, National Movers, not, not!! Pay more, however, not go beyond this nightmare with those unethical, dishonest crooks. Worldwide Van Lines LLC, and National Movers ought to be closed down.

    Poor Service Broker

They’re Just a BROKER!!! They’ll contract out your move and generally to some bad company which isn’t insured and licensed although they need to be dependent upon the contract however we discovered then ours wasn’t and had cancelled his insurer leaving us with damages without recourse. The inspector was overdue and the rationale is that they use the back streets to bypass the weigh stations and testimonials. You’ll be forced to cover more for each detail and even because we pushed back we had been blessed and just paid depending on the contract however, the normal man would’ve been scammed. Be very careful on utilizing them, they lie, and also will take your cash and dont want to speak with you ever again. Why that they dont take credit cards in pickup and shipping is since you cant challenge money as well as their contract is composed to fight with the very best retailer gripe. I would not ever use them again and hope nobody else does either.

9 days late and 45% over estimate

I contracted for a transfer in May of 2011. I cope with Charles (charles@worldwidevanlines.com) on the telephone and via email. I had been advised to pay $270 on the internet after which $400 if my possessions arrived at my new site. The movement was supposed to take just two days. If the movers got to the pickup (11 hours late, during the night) I had to pay $350 since the 270 was the charge for the agent, not the movers. They loaded everything and that I did not hear from them again. I called them several times and was connected with Charles, a dispatcher (New York), and finally a motorist. The driver came on June 6th (9 days late) and with no warning. I had been advised that I had 30 minutes for my flat or they’d leave, place the things in storage, and that I would need to pay for them to return. I needed to pay an extra $350 to eventually get my things. 7 days late and $300 more (45 percent ) compared to quoted.

WORLD WIDE VAN LINES is absolutely the worst business - HANDS DOWN!!!!!

On Friday afternoon, 5 movers display – NO MOVING VAN!! They wait patiently for 90 minutes and then depart; we get a telephone which the motorist was brought to the hospital (a lie). 8:30 pm 2 men show up using a U-Haul. They state there’s not any way we’ll match in a single U-Haul. After a number of unanswered calls to each amount at WORLD WIDE VAN LINES, we operate out a brand new high cost together with the subcontractor. They load two U-Hauls along with the subcontractor maintains to depart Atlanta the following day at 10 am. 11 pm the following night we receive your worst nightmare telephone – they’ve dropped the $500 cash deposit, but don’t have any money for gasoline and can not depart Atlanta till we wire them cash. We tell them we’re calling the Atlanta authorities – somehow they discover money. They arrive at Virginia; our furniture sits at the trucks while WORLD WIDE VAN LINES struggles with all the subcontractor. The intruder shows up, predicted from the subcontractor. Hire WORLD WIDE VAN LINES ONLY should you crave play, authorities visits, RUDE customer assistance, extortion and cracked furniture!!!

    Stole Half my belongins

I’d completed a search for movers for estimates and Worldwide had been a few thousand less costly than 2 other businesses. Blake the salesman stated that the reason behind this is that they had two empty trucks return to Florida and that is the way he can do it. I’d comprised 1 weeks free storage which was suppose to maintain Delaray shore Florida which Blake stated I’d have the ability to come back and receive things as I had from this specific storage. The day of the transfer who shows up a business which has a rented Ryder Truck no company cards along with a lot of scram artists. They brand new my final was two days off and they just had the 1 truck that they would fill up and that I find out far after the fact that it moved to their own storage in Union NJ  about the next day they began extorting me to get $5000.00 over my to not transcend estimate of $12,180.00 I had been made to register and provide a extra 3800.00 or they’d leave the remainder of my belongings and lead to an issue with my final. The afternoon of the delivery came and they just sent 1/2 my possessions and desired the next $5000. To acquire the remainder. All along Worldwide wouldn’t require any resonsibilities and could not return a telephone. WARNING!!!!!!!!!

I provided a comprehensive inventory listing to Eugene, the salesman that places the prices. The destination of my transfer was 5 hours away, to Georgia from Fayetteville, NC. I obtained a price tag, also had the firm add in writing that it had been to be a binding cost. Ahead of the truck came, a few hours late, I’d offered my elipitical machine along with a bedroom place (armoire, queen bed and 2 night stands) that was on the stock list, these things must have freed up more space and diminished the weight appreciably. I discovered if the driver came at a 22′ Penske truck, but not only did he’d 1/4 of this truck filled with somebody else’s things, but he had been lonely, he had been awaiting the help to get there, which was be a man they discovered on CRAIG’S LIST, along with that they contract out to World Wide Transport to coordinate your movement and some man in Kissimmee, Fl, Bobby (not his real name) is the sole contact, he’s rude and hard to manage. The driver and I had been loading into the evening and at the saltwater, the Craig’s listing hire needed to leave to visit some other job, or so the motorist and I sat for hours waiting for the next Craig’s List hire to appear, eventually two hours after he came, we functioned before 12:00 AM and chose the driver would return in the morning, he came several hours late because his truck broke down. He couldn’t get the following Craig’s record hire in time so he and I loaded the truck with the support of a neighbor that had been in the military at Ft. Bragg. We discovered that they had miscalculated how big this truck needed along with the driver and that I needed to load things to the front seat of the truck along with the back and front and rear of my vehicle. He still could not match all things, therefore that I ended up giving to my neighbor about $400.00 value of things. It had been too late to attempt and utilize anyone for storage since we were due to depart, I’d already paid for 2 more days rent in my condominium and lost money on reservations for a hotel I was supposed to have remained in the evening before if the transfer was punctually. AFTER ALL OF THIS NIGHTMARE, they are REFUSING to compensate me for the things I needed to give away, they’re the WORST company I’ve ever dealt with, and I have made several motions. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR- DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

    Terrible

Yes, they all have excellent quotations, and yes, the individual who you originally speak to seems wonderful. Everybody sounds fantastic! Anita, in my instance, sounded fantastic. Once I paid the $500 deposit that which was terrible.Truthfully, it was my very first major movement. I am not a specialist and that I must have been more detailed in my study. I suppose it just appeared to me that NO moving business was adored by everybody or even anyone, so I guessed it was kind of a coin toss. I was incorrect, big error, do not make the exact same one. So there you’ve got the acknowledgement of my own naiveté.I was going in Madison, WI to Baltimore, MD.. Everything was packaged and prepared to proceed, and in spite of the fact that there wasn’t much that Worldwide Van Lines WOULD warranty, Anita promised me that they would certainly pick up my things within a 48 hour window. This was a good warranty. Saturday June 29 or Sunday June 30. I had been advised by Anita that I would receive at least 24 hours notice earlier that weekend, and so I would know that day that the movers could arrive. Especially, she explained:”In case you do not hear from somebody by Thursday, phone me and I’ll help you.”   This is the start of nobody picking up the telephone. In this point, everybody had phoned me back and let me updated. Friday wrapped around. . .no upgrades, so I phoned three or four days prior to their workplace shut at 4pm eastern, and eventually someone picked up on the telephone.   “Saturday at the office,” they stated. “Alright,” I stated. And I also stated”Thank you,” since you ought to be great to people pushing your life throughout the country. My mother drove up from Milwaukee with all my leftovers in my own hometown. We all waited. I predicted at two pm. We all waited. I kept phoning. Each of the telephone numbers, that will be just like 2. Approximately 5 or 4, a person replied and said”That is weird, we’ve got you down to Sunday at that time.” Okay. To make sure, I didn’t mishear the pickup date the very first moment. 0 percent likelihood of a mistake in my part.  On Sunday, nobody came. And nobody picked up the telephone. Each day, nobody picked up the telephone. On Monday a person explained that there’d been storm damage into the telephone lines. There was not any storm damage into the telephone lines; I’ve got net access. Now I was just threatening to cancel, as who am I planning to employ at this juncture? They caught me on the telephone with a supervisor, that I do not recall, since this had been June and we only got the deposit back today, in September. I stated I shall keep you in the event that you ensure to find out my things tonight (she explained sorry, Tuesday it’s ), and if you offer me a reduction. Since I was already violating the conditions of my rent, that ended June 30. And then I cancelled, since things just was not sitting right with me personally? Duh, you say. Well, I am 27 and a half today, not merely 27. Lesson learned.Anyway, long story short, U-Haul isalso, in reality, absolutely wonderful in case you’re able to produce the push yourself. Along with also their contracted shifting helpers are all wonderful. Smooth sailing after I kicked off the clowns into the curb. Do not hire World Wide Van Lines. Should not even be an alternative.

    Long-distance move from Washington
    Horrific! It's a scam!

Worldwide Van Lines, by its independent contractor, tried to con me.   I am in the process of reporting my entire expertise to the Dept. of Transportation.   It is a long sordid story. I will simply put forth the highlights.
The Worldwide Van Lines esimator was Leo.   Friendly, considerate, and sounded reasonable ethical.   We spent significant time on the telephone daily moving room-by-room and item-by-item of their bigger household products.   Though I had been skeptical about not needing a live person walk throughout the home, he explained how the computer worked and that it assembles in a”10% pillow” only in case. All of it looked okay and also his esitmate of about 8,000 pounds. seemed reasonable.   The price was right also: $5,000.   The contract has been titled”Non-Binding Etimate Form” and supplied a penalty when the burden was more than agreed.
Eventualy it had been move-out time.   The motorist called 30 minutes before he came.   He had one assistant.   The motorist had very bad command of English; the helper has been more fluent. They continually spoke Hebrew into eachother and if on the telephone.   Had they not been on the phone incessantly, I would not have minded too much.   However, as it had been, they had been completely unfprofessional.
My home was prepared for move-out. All boxes have been packed. There were few big things everywhere but on the Primary living floor, as my spouse and I’d already moved nearly everything nearer to the doors to make life easier on the movers.   The driver and his helper originally liked it also.
The driver introduced me with a few forms. He requested me to sign or initial each. He then caught me completely off guard when he stated,”that I have to be honest with you.”   That usually wakes you up, especially if you’re busy signing up something.   The driver went on to state that in his 4 decades of experience he’d esimate the family weight at”around 20,000 pounds” Not the approximately 8,000 Worldwide Van Lines’ estimator created via the aid of his PC.   To move this home, said the motorist, will charge you an extra $5,000.   What? I inquired the way Worldwide Van Lines’ estimate might be so far away, however, the driver assured me that the firm intentionally underbids tasks for company.   That sounded plausible, therefore I tried phoning Worldwide Van Lines. No one replied. (The following day Worldwide said it is telephone system had malfunctioned.)
The driver chose to notify me that no moving firm could Earn Money on the first quote, that everyone would need more cash.   He basically tried to strong-arm me in to an 11th-hour bargain while we are sitting amongst my furniture and boxes, prepared for move-out.   He explained that Worldwide Van Lines blatantly underbids tasks to catch company. That  sounded plausibe too.
The motorist concluded by providing me two choices: Either cover the $5,000 or consent to a pricing strategy based on volume, not weight.   Neither seemed right, so I kicked them out.   The following day I called Leo in Worldwide Van Lines.   He feigned surprise as well as managed a chuckle in the Circumstance.   Utlimatey, I moved with Atlas.   It was totally pleasant by comparison.   The cost was approximately $6,500 for 7,000 pounds.   Their motorist never had me sign extra docs, and also called together with all the burden: 6,700 pounds. So much for as many as 20,000 pounds.
All this to state Worldwide Van Lines, by its independent contractors, tried to perpetrate a scam. In my view, Worldwide Van Lines has been complicit in this scam and warrants censure.   We are going to see exactly what the Dept. of Transportation states.

World wide van Lines is a rip off fly by n9ight operation

Business is fly through the night don’t use – that they can quote but get around it by stating non binding quote – that they subcontract to less then fair folks – my daughter has been billed $1700 dollars in hidden charges – appears the quote doesn’t imply anything and the contract implies nothing – contract claims blankets and whistles included – yes except for them to wrap your material is 25 dollars per piece, there was an excess fee for your washer and drier, and disassembly of furniture has been likewise billed.  There wasn’t enough space on the truck for all her things so things she desired was left behind.  She had been ripped off.  Don’t use net van lines – if she’s called to complain that they said that he had been subcontracted you need to take this up with him. AGAIN DO NOT USE WORLDWIDE VAN LINES THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!

    Total Scam

Three reasons to not utilize Worldwide:
    1.  They underquoted us by over 2500 lbs., even though we told them we believed they had been reduced.  But they promised us that”they have been in this industry a very long time and knew exactly what they were doing”.  Right.  The movement ended up costing us more money since the $/pound. Is greater on the backend as opposed to when it had been fit as such up front.
    2.  They ended up having to place our products onto two trucks, using the next truck carrying 21 days to get there.  We originally told that we’d have our products at 7-10 days.  Not so.
    3.  On the next truck which required 21 days to arrive, the products were shot someplace, offloaded, kept at a non-climate controlled centre, reloaded after which eventually delivered.  The elevated temps brought damage to your wood furniture pieces, along with other had any damage as a result of numerous handlings (loading, unloading, reloading, and unloading back in our house ).
    4.  Cannot make them send us a claim type for harms — we have asked many times within the previous two weeks to get a claim type, but apparently they’re unwilling to send us one.  Thus, we are needing to resort to filing a little claims lawsuit against Worldwide.  It is not so much that the harms had been enormous, it is the principle of the just not reacting at all to some client request.
STAY AWAY FROM WORLDWIDE.  They’re SCAM ARTISTS, HAVE ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND SHOULD NOT BE Permitted to BE IN BUSINESS.  PERIOD.

    Got Cha

I made a decision to go with all these movers depending on the relaxing and smooth voice of their salesperson, Charles. He promised me everything will be OK, which Worldwide Valued me as a client and our connection could be strong. It wasn’t until we’d finally hashed out the facts and also the contract came over that I understood that they were a broker rather than the real moving firm. It had been too late to attempt and find somebody else. I compensated for the movement up front and cushioned the quantity of the burden to pay for any unexpected issues. It took 22 days for the house to get there. A total of 5 boxes were all lost, several things were ruined, along with also my 37″ flat screen tv never came. A set display I paid an extra $100 to get crated therefore it wouldn’t be broken (the movers utilized a few of my poles to reduce open and then wrap the tv in a walker ). But they did send a brown bag that doesn’t belong to me personally. . .and I tell them that on a number of distinct occassions. I filed my promise to Worldwide along with the moving business who said my burden was 300 pounds on what I paid for. They somehow did not receive the memo out of Worldwide that I had really over compensated the burden. Maria, their dispatcher/customer service individual all but wrapped up on me through a telephone call. She was brief and not too apethetic for my troubles. I filed my claim immediately following my transfer and with this date I still have not obtained any settlement. My advice to anyone contemplating using Worldwide, do your self a favor and pay the Additional cash to your reassurance of having a Respectable firm with their very own fleet of trucks and trucks.

    Never use this company

While on the lookout for a moving company, World Wide created an email solicitation.  They lent me a”Not to Exceed” estimate of $964.95 using a deposit because of $264.95 to get things rolling.  This was performed on March 6, 2013 using a scheduled pickup of March 26, 2013 between 10:00 am and pm.  The afternoon for loading came and from the pm that afternoon I called to discover where truck had been.  After some analysis I had been told that the truck broke down and they did not understand when a truck could be accessible.  Oh, I did not mention that I had to be in Colorado to begin a new project on April 1.  Things went down hill from that stage.  Most calls for World Wide roster to their own voicemail system and decent luck if you’re able to get a person to return the telephone.  Eventually got to speak to someone and had been informed that the truck could be mended from April 1 and that since I had been going from an apartment which managment would allow the movers to flat so I could get onto the street.  I used ton’t enjoy this but at this stage I had no option.  April 1 arrives and now I get a call in the motorist demanding $575.00 therefore that I gave that a credit card number.  I particularly asked if he obtained the things in the garage that he responded yes.  Right now I had been lead to believe he had been a World wide employee at a World Wide truck.  Deal claims that delivery is going to be made within 30 days of pickup.  My items eventually came last night, May 7, 2013 having a team of one at a leased Penske truck.  This 1 individual needed to negotiate with a flight of stairs for my new flat.  This is 1 hell of a horror tale.  Furniture was ruined, boxes  werecrushed with materials ruined, mattresses mat has been torn, bed framework was lost the bolts to get re-assembly.  I pointed out this to the man, who had to be drug tested, and presumed that he was heading back to your truck to search for the or bring the remainder of my items up.  So now I didn’t receive my $500.00 bike or the $6000.00 worth of gear that was at my garage.  Ever since I had the drivers mobile phone number I called and was advised that the products weren’t on the vehicle and that I had to submit a claim.  Attempting to phone World Wide isn’t a help since they not answer the telephone and messages aren’t returned.  At the moment I’m carrying the activity of filing criminal charges of theft and deceptive business practices.  Avoid WORLD WIDE VAN LINES…

    CONSUMER BEWARE!!

My nightmare started with the”magical” Leo, the sales rep with Worldwide Van Lines who promised me this movement would be quite simple and to not worry since they will take excellent care of me. Obviously he neglected to inform me that they sub contract each of these moves into other carriers. In addition, he promised me that the cost included the ferry cargo since I reside on Marthas Vineyard Island. He promised me it did! He went so far as to inform me that he had his favourite team prepared to perform the job. After I started experiencing problems with the subcontractor I managed to really reach Leo one time by telephone and the other times it went into voice mail and of course I did not obtain a call backagain. The actual movement was created by Worldwide Transfer Co. along with the nightmare just became worse. A Penske rental truck using only the driver came with an hours notice (Leo stated a team would do so movement ) so I expected at least an additional individual. John (the driver) stated another man did not show up. I’m 74 yrs old and my sister’s 72 and we helped place boxes onto the truck. All my items were packed and ready to go so there was nothing to do but load the truck. I’ll say that the driver was clean cut and considerate. I was advised that I had been a million pounds within the alloted 2,000 lbs I had been permitted. The motorist called his boss”Bobby” that had been quite threatening but I informed him there was no way I had been over the alloted burden and that I wasn’t going to cover. Then he told me I had been to provide the driver the 800 equilibrium I had been to cover when my shipment has been sent and it was to be in the kind of a cashiers check. I’d already gone into the bank and bought the test so that it was prepared in the end of the transfer. The driver eventually left and I started calling Worldwide Moving Vans customer support only for voice mail. I phoned their shipment expansion and got the exact same thing. Additionally known as Leo’s ext. with no answer. The contract I signed gave them 30 days to send and also for a month I phoned Worldwide and Worldwide Transport to discover where my dispatch was and when to expect it. I eventually got through to Worldwide Van Lines customer support and the individual was so very rude and that my dispatch was enroute and I’d get it eventually. I began to protest and she hung up on me! I called a lawyer friend for advice and he said to wait for the 30 days and when I had not heard anything to telephone and he’d persue the issue. I phoned Rebecca with Worldwide Transport and told her I’d be persuing this legally if she did not find out if my dispatch will reach me. That got some consequences since the dispatch has been in Ohio. The driver eventually called me and promised me he’d be here on April 26 but that he could not send to the island before I paid the $300 round trip to the ferry. Obviously that I agreed just to get my items. They were really going to maintain the dispatch hostage. Some of my items had hurt but the 1 thing they dropped or contributed to someone else that they proceeded is the oddest thing about the transfer. The box includes old family photographs and documents which can not be substituted. If anybody obtained a box of these items please phone Worldwide Transfers and that I will pay to get them delivered to me. If anybody contemplates a move in the close future do a good deal of research online since there are lots of resources regarding the does and performn’ts of proceeding. I am still not finished with either Worldwide Van Lines or Worldwide Transfer. These strategies must stop!

    Long-distance move from Nevada
    Worst moving experience ever

I’d made a booking through global vanlines to get a transfer from Reno, NV to St. Paul, MN for February 28, 2012.  I had been confident through the earnings call that Imy transfer wouldn’t be brokered out into a different firm because it had been winter and company was slow so that there were lots of their own trucks out there.  I was also advised that the surcharge for transferring upstairs could be waived.  I had been oblivious to.  This movement has been reverted to National Movers.  I’d completed my research and had been astonished at the excellent deal globally vanlines managed to get mepersonally. Greater than $3000 to maneuver 10,500pounds of freight over 1800 milesper hour Every other area I attempted quoted me $6-7k. That should have been my first clue I had been likely to get ripped off.  Even doing it myself would have been more expensive.  I anticipated my burden to be approximately 10-11,000pounds according to their itemized list instrument and two reputable movers that really came out for my storage device to appraise my things and understanding that the moving business standards to quote.  I did my study.  Each single way I calculated it arrived about approximately 10,000pounds.   After the inspector out of National Transferring demonstrated up he showed up at a Budget rental truck promptly informed my sister in law that she had to signal their arrangement which lent an $75 for flights of stairs so that she phoned me (I was already in MN in the time).  While I had been on the telephone using Worldwide to determine the reason why they could be charging me because then ought to have been coated in my quotation the inspector advised my sister in law that he understood we were likely to be within our quotation by roughly 25,000pounds but that he had been ready to transfer it for $5000. I couldn’t feel that we had that far more things than we’d been quoted and’d read a post about the best way best to prevent scams previously that week and noticed this was a frequent practice in the moving business.  To provide a minimal quote understanding that if moving day came clients were usually at a rigorous time crunch and distressed and that most customers wouldn’t truly understand just how much their stuff actually weighs.  I asked the driver to consider the truck until they loaded that they denied.   I knew didn’t have that much and spent another half an hour trying to determine what to do.  I didn’t need to leave my stuff behind and was convinced we were under the quoted weight but read enough about the moving business to understand that after they had my things on board that they could bill me everything they wanted and when I could not cover it then there wasn’t anything I can do. They can continue to keep my things, save it and bill me $300 per day before I could cover, and finally sell it. I was still speaking with Worldwide now with a representative who stated there was not anything in my own quotation about complimentary stairs but that she would track down the manager I left the reservation with and phone me back.  This was the last moment that I managed to talk to the business even after a few calls during the next week.  In this time period, the”professional movers” started loading my possessions.  The driver and his helper had hired two local men off the road to assist with loading.  Two men I can guarantee weren’t bonded or licensed yet today understood where my storage device was found and the contents and I was no more in the region.  Exceptionally professional.  I’d paid for complete service such as wrap my furniture and packaging items.  The majority of my stuff was already packed and ready to go since it had been in storage although not it all.  They didn’t wrap whatever, revived my bamboo table top round the sidewalk scratching it seriously, and struck a mirror.  By this time I’d determined there was no way that they were going to be permitted to transfer my things.  The”proprietor” I talked to was utterly unprofessional and even shouted at me for taking the time to determine what to do.  I didn’t expect him whatsoever.  I predicted Worldwide Vanlines too in that time and if they have been prompt and professional all the way around the transfer date, nobody would return any of my calls after there was no issue.  I wound up cancelling my booking by creating a voicemail.  Once I cancelled my transfer and requested them to place the few things they’d transferred back they started throwing my furniture to the storage device.  Later that afternoon I went back into the Budget rental truck site to find out info on their own trucks.  We’d considered leasing one ourselves if we needed to perform itself move but recalled that the maximum cargo weight wasn’t really much.  Sure enough the most significant truck can only accommodate 12,000pounds.  However an empty truck weighed against 25,000pounds.  National Moving attempted to bill me the burden of my freight in addition to the burden of the empty truck!!  Really??!! After waiting 3 months, I wound up performing the movement myself now. I hadn’t seen that the storage device as their endeavor to move me and had no idea exactly how much harm was done for my own stuff.  See photographs below.  After viewing this I named the company to submit a claim for damaged products and instantly got the identical man I dealt with all the very first moment.  I voiced my criticism and requested to submit a claim and he started yelling at me again.  I requested to talk to a manager and he explained that he had been the proprietor and he had been not the only man I could speak to.  I inquired what insurer he registered his promises through and that he refused to inform me,” said I want to email him photographs of the damaged merchandise, then he’d record the claim.  I already know this guy is a crook and informed me there was no way I had been sending any pictures till I had a form to complete my claim.  My very best bet is was that he’d attempt using my photographs and state he’d them BEFORE loading on moving day to”prove” that they had been ruined prior to the transfer.  After yelling at me to the telephone again and again refusing to hear I wrapped up.  It was undoubtedly the worst going experience I’ve ever had in my entire life and I’m SOOOO thankful that I didn’t allow this business to move my things.  However I Don’t know if I’ll ever have to file a claim and have matters solved because of my damaged merchandise.

I provide these ppl less then even bad if there’s a word.  They arrived two days late, I advised them to provide me correct time because I had a new born infant and they explained that they are there in 3 times and whenver I predict they stated either in couple hours or next day morning, day etc..  Three men were there for delivery and requested me to give him additional cash because they stated fat is far more but I understood it can not be so I said I will cover if fat is more.  They came and asked me for many excess cash else that they droved back, because I’d infont and was lonely, I compensated and necessity was CASH.  I said I wish to come back to inspect the weight but they did not agree and even didn’t put in all of the furniture and ran away due to fear of authorities because they had been incorrect.  Never employ them even they say if they will perform your moving in free but nevertheless you’re going to wind up paying great deal longer.

    Rip-off

After signing the contract I had been guaranteed by the individual organizing the deal that the delivery could require 10 days. He requested for /-24 hour window. The pickup was scheduled for March 20 at NJ. The shipping in CA was likely to be about March 30. The pick-up men should punctually and I don’t have any complaints relating to them. The nightmare began when they already holding my things hostage. I needed to fly to CA on March 29 so as to accept the shipping. As soon as I landed, I called the business (the man’s name was Chin) and has been advised that they are running late and will send my things weekly. After a week I predicted the exact same man again and was advised that they have some problems and there’ll be an additional delay, since the truck broke down en route. I kept calling every 2-3 days, but wasn’t given any meaningful info. At length, it had been sent to Apr 21, more after a month following the pickup date. I needed to sleep on the ground and couldn’t even rent furniture because I never needed an honest shipping date. The motorist who delivered my belongings said that he picked it up in NJ 5 days past, meaning that the business was lying to all of that time. The estimated cost for the transfer was $1,200, but I was finally billed $1,700. I had been going a 1 bedroom. The only thing which got stolen or lot was a little ladder.

    Dishonest and Unprofessional

Do NOT employ World Wide Van Lines. Dishonest and Unprofessional.
As somebody else had said, I’d felt comfortable with going with this business from speaking to some very wonderful salesman called Lance. I’d gotten a marketing email from him stating that it’d cost $950 to get a 2000 move for me personally. So, I believed that could be a great deal and gave him a telephone number.  He offered me a 950 move on a 1500lb quote and ensured me that this appeared to be the best quote to go for. Lance also stated that normally they aren’t supposed to move below a 2000lb minimal but that he got the okay from his manager to do so. I’d predict Lance back after putting up everything a few weeks prior to the movement and was worried that I might have to have my estimate burden improved since I did not need to discuss and he explained that he would up it to 1600lbs no issue. However, I said that perhaps we ought to only do his orginal supply of 2000lbs for $950 only to be safe. He explained I would need to pay an additional $125 to get it at 2000lbs and so I advised him that I could not afford to pay any more and that he told me that I must be OK on my burden.
When the movers arrived on tuesday, they did come in time and were fine enough. After they had all rich we took a look at the paperwork which said a quote of 1435lbs that was wrong according to our signed contract that orginally stated 1500lbs but I had been thinking it was likely to be at least at the 1600lbs which Lance stated he’d up it to. The mover contacted the firm that said it had been 1435lbs and so I advised the mover I would just call the business in the morning (since they were now closed) and might straighten out everything.
When I called them the next day that they did discover that 1500lbs was about the orignal contract and that I did speak to Lance and explained that I believed he’d uped the burden to 1600lbs and he explained that there should have been some miscommunication and that all he has is 1500lbs. So…I did not wish to fight it in this time becase A) I did not understand the last pounds and B) I’d gotten food poisening and had been ill. That day , I got a telephone call from them stating that the last weight could be 2200lbs (700 pounds over the quote ) and I would owe an additional $351 in addition to the $950. I was quite dissappointed because we wern’t planing with this but made plans to get the cash and okay-ed the client service girl that had informed me my closing balance of $1051 ($1251-250 deposit already paid). She explained my items will arrive in their final desitination by tuesday or even wedesday another week.
We waited until Monday and gave them a telephone to inquire about coming time plus they said Tuesday night. And I asked, alright what time period do you believe? And she explained 5-6pm. So my husband intended his functioned about this. I also had been reviewing the contract a bit further and discovered a few things as I had been somewhat frustrated of my wieght overage: 1> The burden minimum is always assumed to be 2000lbs and two > the last payment is to be money order or money. So I contested the last payment along with the CS woman said it needed to be money. She was really rude and that I could tell she didn’t need to be on the telephone with me. I wasn’t pleased because 2 things inside the contract were not being followed. . .the wieght minimum along with also the payment alternative that I also found to be really strange as no company nowadays does business with money unless they’re attempting to pay less taxes or simply be dishonest. And as I had been paying such a large amount, I needed to take out money more than a two day period.
We predicted on Tuesday, the day the movers were coming back to affirm everything and also to ask some questions regarding the wieght minimal in the contract along with the payment choice and they stated they’d return to us. But upon that very first telephone on Tuesday, they told my husband that the last weight wasn’t 2200 however 2600 and that we now don’t owe 1051 in money but 1213 in money. We had just planned to get 1051 and’d budgeted this, and now we needed to borrow cash as we were not ready for this. We complained to the supervisors about this and they did not appear to care and stuck together with the simple fact that we either pay them the 2600lb cost or we do not get our items. The customer support was bad and we needed to phone to other sections simply to get led to some person in customer service that always appeared to be occupied, go to voicemail, and then we would never get a return.
Initially , we were planning to get in touch with a lawyer and wait on getting our items delivered as we believed we had justice, but on second thought, we simply decided that we’d learned our lesson, we had to move forward, we’d never make this mistake again, we’d get in touch with the BBB, and we’d surely post as many poor reviews as possible so as to hurt their company.

So ALL IN ALL, they have been SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL, DISHONEST,  do not record telephone calls in order that they could back up their employees or the clients themselvers, and among the directors told us that it is nothing personal and it is all about the cash and that they have attorneys to take good care of getting exactly what they’re entitiled to buy. So there wasn’t any space for apologies in misunderstandings and mis-given details on original quotations and certainly nothing to attempt have great customer support and satisfaction. We’ll never recommend them to anyone.we compensated $500 more than we ever anticipated and it certainly could have been worse.

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I recently moved from Minnesota to Arizona. I was initially told by my representative in World Wide Van Lines that they utilize their very own fleet of trucks also that my stuff was likely to be loaded onto one of the enormous semi-trucks. After the movers showed up (Reputable Taxes ) there were just two men (among his late 60’s! ) ) Forcing a bit Budget rent-a-truck.

Around 2/3 of their way by loading up my things they hurried out of space about the vehicle. There’s absolutely no way that ought to have occurred as I routed World Wide a comprehensive inventory of what being transferred. The 2 men then said that they were NEVER TOLD of their estimated weight or revealed that the stock list. They all were apparently told was that it was a little flat. True it had been, however, it was jam packed with 6000 pounds of stuff!

The 2 men ended up placing some of my things to a neighborhood public storage device (at their cost ) and informed me it’d accompany 1 week after. Well I’m writing this review nearly 3 months after I’ve yet to observe the remainder of my own stuff!

When my first load of things did arrive in my new residence, there were innumerable cracked plastic bags, smashed boxes, broken things, dinged furniture up, and lost things which they had been advised specifically NOT to place in storage except to bring straight away. To top it off, all the boxes and things had been clearly marked as to what area they move in. They still managed to misplace things in the wrong locations.

If you’re trying to move, I strongly recommend that your DO NOT proceed with World Wide Van Lines or even Dependable Movers. I shopped around before picking them, but was na

    Disgusting company!

I have done a little move from Seattle to Dallas, I paid beforehand and that I had been told it’d take 4-7 days. They picked up in June and did not fall till march of the subsequent calendar year. This firm doesn’t have their own trucks, the hire day laborers to transfer your belongings. I’d already flown into Dallas, they had been 5 times late picking up my things and my mom said that they showed up at a Ryder moving van. Turns out, someone globally van lines hired was a man who’d stolen mine, plus some other people’s paperwork and chose to pick up our items and compel us to invest more cash so as to deliver my items. When I refused to pay the driver wrapped up and that I and I were unable to contact him again. He’d left my house in a storage device in CA. And it sat there until the storage device nearly sold off it because of insufficient payment. The scatter stepped in, discovered mine, and some other people’s house the afternoon it was to be auctioned off and was ab;electronic for me my items. Now, global van lines won’t return my calls, all I am asking is to get my cash. ($1175.00 is all I am asking) this business is a scam! ) Additionally, I known a family friend to this organization and they tricked them out of $5000.00. They stated they had a $5000.00 equilibrium and they would not shed their land until they paid the remainder. In addition they paid ahead of time before they ever picked up. Don’t rely on them, pay the few added dollars and go with a respectable business.

    WORST MOVING COMPANY EVER

My review is consistent with All the other testimonials I Want to god I’d assessed before I signed on with them.   I got a Lot of quotes from many companies for my transfer out of New Orleans to DC.   Worldwide’d the best quote along with the salesman was very pleasant and accommodating.   That’s where my great experience ended.

As soon as they sent me the contact kinds I reached out for my client person and stated I had been worried about the window because I had to be from my apt by Aug 15th.  He agreed and stated he altered my scheduled transfer date from the system by the 14th into the 12th to ensure I was outside on time and that I could only sign the contract.  I did.  As my transfer approached nobody contacted me about a coming date.  About the 11th and 12th I phoned the offices to find an estimate but nobody was in about the weekend.  I did get somebody on the 13th who explained my inspector was coming the next day.  About the 14th when I did not hear from the true inspector I phoned again and was told that he was now coming to the 16th.  I called them a lot of times and said that was unacceptable because somebody needed to move in my place on the 16th — I proposed that all around with my items out.  They said my initial contact gave them a 48 hour window in the 15th which was the arrangement.  I sent them the email where their salesman affirmed my brand new window began on the 12th.  Eventually they agreed to return about the 15 — showed up that day a few hours before I needed to go to the airport.  I needed to leave because they had been loading and advised them to lock up/leave the secret if they had been completed (I’d have a neighbor looking into ensure they did so on time).  They left a whole lot of garbage and my deposit has been decreased for cleaning fees predicated on that.

I told the movers in the time I wasn’t going into my new location until 10/1 and that they would transfer my belongings into a storage unit I got in VA rather than a brand new apt.  I imagine that meant to them that I did not want my things.  I contacted them once I did not hear any upgrade in my delivery in the 30day guaranteed window.  I had multiple connections with them stating I had a person to manage the transfer to the storage device once they could send.  They did not deliver until 10/6 — far beyond the DL.  Throughout the end of September I had been on holiday and attempting to get connected with ppl (frantically) out of Europe and Africa.  They were rather difficult to reach.  When my stuff came had been using another inspector than’d picked up.   He said that my items were all wet (like my mattress) since he and the other inspector had changed my things into his van at 2am in a truck stop the evening before and it had been raining.  A number of my things was soaking and he’d struck a dining room seat in the transfer.  There was extensive water damage.  I had been missing a number of matters.  Not one of my furniture has been wrapped (wrap and disassembly was contained in the contract) — for example two or three things I’d personally bought protective fabrics for to ensure that they were protected.

I’d set my clothes in vacuum bags and also people in furniture (wrapped and recorded ), suitcases and boxes.  Those were all taken out and started.  I had been missing a number of items of clothes that somebody had become a bag and started a bag for.  They were clearly going through my things.  All of my furniture has been scuffed up and ruined from being moved about a lot of trucks without being wrapped.  After delivery I contacted them around some lost things and got a handful of these back (an empty bag with everything which was packaged inside missing along with a busted picture).  Several of my items and a precious mirror proved entirely lost.

I stuffed a claim form on 10/15 with”Luke”.  He explained he they had been needed to return to me in 120 days.  A couple of days after that window I emailed to receive an upgrade.  I emailed again the next week.  I then predicted.  Eventually I got through to somebody who stated my claim could have been passed with their third party insurance companies and that I had to follow up together.  She also gave me a name and amount.  I phoned them and it was a moving agency and they were amazingly wonderful.  They couldn’t locate my claim.  They seemed under reference number, my title, my move date.  Ultimately the individual checked the machine for the moving firm and stated his firm did not have any listing of conducting business with a firm called global van lines.  He strove to summit them into clean up this but nobody picked up.  In the two months since then I’ve called more than a dozen times and left messages.  They never call back.  I sometimes can find a lady on the telephone (ext 421 — the one person who sometimes appears to reply telephones there)  she said I want to clean this up with her superb Kevin in ext 450.  I’ve left him several messages.  I’ve needed her pass notes to get him call me backagain. Nothing.  I really don’t believe he is.  His ext goes directly to VM, he is never at work and he has not returned any of my messages.

I know I would not find much cash for the harm — nothing to approximate what they ruined and outright stole in my move — but I believe I will sue them anyhow.  Small claims court is most likely not worth the time however I am incredibly angry now.  PLEASE Don’t MAKE THE MISTAKE I MADE.  Don’t Use THES MOVERS.  They’re THIEVES AND SCAM ARTISTS.

    Do not use this company!

My transfer was bothersome at each stage after WWVM needed my CC number. The movers guaranteed 3 distinct delivery times on the manner, prompting the transfer each moment. They eventually showed up 5 times late at 1 am and required $1141.00 money and said they’d place my all of my possessions in storage in a cost of $40/day and that I would find them in a month when I didn’t cover (my contract was for $900.00 and my perception was that my CC could be billed the balance.) . They’re a brokerage company and have inadequate communication if any of the movers they employ. After I compensated WWVM my deposit that I had no recourse along with my contact individual or dispatch after the shipping claims started to drop through. Nobody would return my telephone calls. Both delivery guys showed up within an older budget rent a truck, had to unpack somebody else’s possessions (seemed just like a few bedrooms values ) on to my front yard (again at 1 am) and then eventually abandoned at 3:30 am. Several things were damaged and many were not sent. Don’t use this organization!

    Heartbroken & Disgusted

Read all of the reviews BEFORE picking this provider.  I can not think how accurate they all are contemplating I moved through every thing written in these testimonials.  I had been confident multiple occasions that WWVL would appear using THEIR truck to load & transfer my possessions.  The initial issue was once the movers showed up at a Budget Rental Truck.  When I called Beth out of WWVL, she told me they did not have a truck from the region so that they utilized a Budget truck in order to not hold me up along with my transfer. . .what a crock!  The movers were fine but they didn’t have any regard for the house that I was going from.  They wheeled their filthy carts round my white carpeting.  I eventually had to ask them to discontinue.  My home has been TRASHED when they abandoned.  My quotation was for $1600. . .what a joke…I ended up having to pay almost $2700.  They never showed up together with my possessions until 19 days after (15 days based on them!) .  When they sent my possessions, virtually every bit of furniture they WRAPPED THEMSELVES was ruined.  A 100 year-old classic rocker which has been given to me by my great-grandmother busted; and entertainment center with glass doors had been shattered; amish end tables & coffee tables were gauged & scraped; all of my bedroom furniture was scratched and parts of wood broken off.  These are only a couple of a total of 45 damaged things that I’m mentioning!  They delivered two things which did NOT belong to me.  Luckily, I had been watching everything they had been bringing in and captured these 2 items. . .one or increasing numbers of folks are missing images and a comforter which has been nearly given to me personally.  I’m missing 6 things:  box of clothes, floor lamp, two outside seats, rubbermaid bin having heirloom Christmas Santas and yet another bin with decorations my son has left me or we have purchased for him for the last 21 decades.  Although because WWVL contracted the movement to Green Moving from California, they aren’t taking responsibility.  Green Moving is giving me the run around.  They claim they’ve turned over my 45 images and record of damaged/missing things to a THIRD PARTY NEUTRAL claims adjuster. . .but refuse to provide me the range of stated NEUTRAL claims adjuster!  WTH…I am quite distraught over most of the missing and damaged things. . .how can you substitute the lost items, damaged furniture (antiques). The motorist who delivered my possessions showed up in a different moving company semi. . .not WWVL!  He suggested that he simply picked up my things out of a warehouse in Chicago and did not have a sheet. . .he only”took what was left” and assumed that it had been mine.  He also received the stock sheet while he was enroute.  He was likewise to telephone me 12-24 hours before delivery.  Not the situation – known as me at 11:15 and signaled he’d be here at 2:00.  Luckily I had been home. . .and he then showed up at 3:45!  My question:  just how many occasions were my possessions loaded/unloaded until they reached their destination at Colorado?  Why were they sitting at a warehouse at Chicago?  Some of my things were delivered appearing like they’d been sitting out for the last 19 days!   DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY NO MATTER WHAT PRICE THEY QUOTE!  You’ll Get SCREWED.  I read several negative reviews and was really apprehensive and reluctant; I had been assured by Beth that these things wouldn’t happen.  And should you employ them and GREEN MOVING  shows up….lock your doorways and call another corporation.  What a joke. . .this was the most dreadful & catastrophic experience I’ve ever encountered.  Only time will tell when my claim is processed….hopefully should you employ this business, you get a fantastic attorney. . .thankfully I really do!

Items never delivered, deposit kept by WWVL

I signed up a deal with World Wide in May of the year (2012) plus they pulled a deposit in my own accounts. I had a little movement of a 8 boxes plus two bikes. They offered me a”window” of 6/2 into 6/3 for pickup of my things. I had a job waiting for me in Southern California. I’m now out here and STILL waiting. I contacted the company and they said they would have an agency supervisor return my calls. They never did. I contacted the BBB at FL. (their headquarter are there) and explained my position. They stated WWVL stated”we returned down her deposit because she stopped the movement”. They very much wanted me to offset the movement as I’m small potatoes into them in prime moving period in comparison to 5,000 sq. ft. housing motions. I NEVER stopped the contract verbally or written and haven’t experienced a return on my deposit. I advised the BBB I would be more than glad to fax over copies of my bank statements revealing my deposit to them and their non-refundable (that I did not want anyway) out of them. To be able to sue them, you must do this from the county where they are located. Yeah, I am heading back and forth in CA. to FL. To battle more than a 10 box proceed. However, the things in these boxes Are Crucial for my job.    Stay away from World Wide Van Lines unless you wish to get royally ripped away.

    They stole it all....

When I was searching for a mover to move me out of Amherst NY to NJ, WWVL contacted me with a quotation of $925.  We analyzed my possessions and the costs quote remained the same.  I asked a box to get my mattress and television and had been told I needed to cover extra which I had been more than happy to cover.  The movers showed up @ @2:10 in the day, and did not have stated boxes.  I challenged this and they stated there aren’t any boxes for these things.  When I asked them concerning what time they’d arrive they said sometime next moment. I asked you are not likely to NJ from here. They maintained no, that they needed to stop at Syracuse during the night to do some thing in the afternoon and wouldn’t be there before the day.  I phoned the # they man called me out of, ” he answered the phone and when he noticed who it had been on another end he would not talk.  Other calls for his amount sent to voice mail.  I contacted WWVL and all I get are emails saying they’re looking to it.  They agent their moves out or tell you that up front.  It’s now two days because they have my things and I think that not only contains WWVL never used these guys before, but my stuff is gone permanently.  I sent them an email telling them I maintain them full accountable for my house, which I understand that I will find no satisfactions out of.  PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW THESE PEOPLE TO TOUCH YOUR STUFF, YOU WILL EITHER GET IT DAMAGED OR NOT in Any Way. This location kicks you once you’re down and if you’ve nothing left. This really is the worst company ever and they will need to be put out of business.

    Fraudulent & Scam Artist

Worldwide Van lines stated that they have thier own trucks as well as my possessions are in another locked ocmpartment of their van. Not so, a more compact truck came into pickup and”send” into the moving van.
At pickup moment we had been advised there’s a gasoline surcharge charge. Inside my estimate, gasoline, packaging blankets and materials and transport of electronic equipment were coated. They also attempted to charge me an additional $95 for sending my television. It requires 4 hours to look after this difficulty because the headquarters wouldn’t answer the phone or return.

We finished up more weight and the firm said that they wouldn’t ship till we paid 70 percent up front. Our contract said that the deposit(that was compensated ) and then the balance upon delivery in cash, money order or charge card.

Upon shipping they wouldn’t require a money order, which the said money order or money, since it wasn’t the perfect type of money purchase. In addition they up the cost by $500 and maintained our belongings instantly and for just another $400 along with whatever else to provide it the following day to the toal at CASH. The wouldn’t even have a charge card. They’re accomplished scam artist.

The movers subsequently proceeded to mow upside down boxes, broken shattered boxes and broken lamps, and dressers. In addition they DRAGGED our items (beds & sofa ) down the vehicle ramp.

In this entire process, customer support was nearly impossible to get a grasp of, and then they would always tell me they’d phone me back. I never received calls back, so we were compelled to cover this ridiculous cost since the van driver was still holding our possessions hostage.

    Please do not be fooled

They’ll provide you a very low estimate and guarantee pickup within a 48 hour window. Their website makes it look that they have their own drivers and trucks. They picked up two weeks late, lied to people on several occasions – if we can get them on your telephone. They NEVER returned telephone messages. The driver advised us that our estimates are not right and billed us DOUBLE what had been quoted. He refused to consider the shipment and then we were not given the true weight. We had been advised en route which they had another project to do this our things could be placed in storage and we would make it”sometime in the next 21 days”. The vehicle broke down two (allegedly ). It Didn’t belong to World Wide Van Lines. When our substance has been sent it was moist – much INSIDE the sticks – also there was lots of harm. We had been advised that they needed to alter trucks in St. Louis and then”it was raining”. Following calls for the firm has afforded NOTHING. We registered a damage report and haven’t even been declared. We’ve registered complaints with the Federal Trucking individuals who manage truckers and using the Better Business Bureau. We wish to submit a class action lawsuit if we could find others who’ve been shot in.

    TERRIBLE TERRIBLE

The business billed me the residue even though they never moved my items without returned my calls/emails once I attempted to follow up about where they had been the day of their transfer.  I only got off the telephone with my credit card company to dispute the fraudulent cost.    I reserved a van to move my items interstate.  I the Agency was assumed to emerge between 9 and 11am.  I had been advised that the inspector would call me about the afternoon of the transfer to validate the time so I had a 30 second window for my storage device.  In 10:40am I made the World Wide Van Lines to notify I still had not learned from your Agency.  I was quite worried because I needed to stop by noon into the airport, and also the moving business understood.  Jack, the salesman, moved me into someone’s voicemail.  For another hour I made different voicemails (with client support, Jack( and shipment ) and delivered various emails to people to learn what was happening.  For this day, nobody has returned my calls or even responded to my mails.  I’ll Be filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau and also FTC.

    DO NOT USE! SCAM

Don’t use! Scam! We paid a deposit for our business compensated move & our movement has been scheduled. We didn’t have any communicating the day before or the day of the movement. The afternoon of the move we were all packed and waiting for the vehicle to get there. The truck was supposed to arrive at the am. We made several telephone calls and left many messages. We never could get anyone to answer the telephone. At two pm we received a telephone and advised that the movers wouldn’t arrive until the following day. As this is a business move we had been under a deadline and couldn’t wait until the following day! We had been awarded the telephone # of the motorist, he demanded that we provide him $300 money up front before he’d even load the truck and that we’d have to accompany him into the weigh station and pay the commission & that he’d require the balance in money before he’d unload. The contract read that all fees were contained and that the balance was due once the transfer was finished. It was agreed that we can cover our equilibrium with all our corp.. Buy card when the transfer was complete. The motorist was rude and mean! Next, we felt that this is a scam! So much for a worry free move! Very stressful!

    RIPPOFF BEWARE NIGHTMARE

Worst Conclusion I created. I paid off a $500 deposit in August with this movement. Pick up date has been 9/27/11 using a shipping date for October 1, 2011 therefore that I believed!! .
Albert was quite knowledgeable at the start to acquire the accounts. Everything altered 9/27/11. It wasn’t clear before the evening prior to my move which World Wide Van Lines put me up with a fake sub firm Florida Southwest Van Lines. I attempted to get them a few times concerning this thing they refuse to respond to some emails, telephone calls, and faxes.
I repeatedly emailed Albert he referred me to customer support every moment. Phones did not work for 2 days with client support. I faxed my advice still no reply. I got no notice that a different firm would do the transfer. Therefore it did not let me pick another provider. I understood I paid $500 to allow them to decide on another BOGUS business.

    My story

I spent a great deal of time exploring moving companys prior to fianlly picking one this research procedure is something that I recommend for everybody especially if you’re thinking about hiring a plumber. Well following my assignments I picked net van lines and that I had a good moving experience I typically don’t write reviews but the entire team made me feel so comfy I needed to mention a few words, from begin to finish everything was good that the only difficulty I had was that they had been a bit late for delivery however we had been so excuited moving into a completely new nation that we didn’t really mind so much it gave us a opportunity to learn more about the place for new shops. The sales guy dave was great that he actually made me feel comportable and because everythng went smoothe my husband didn’t complaine to me whatsoever that was fantastic. Overall I wish to thank net van lines for there steller support and I’ll be recommending them for their new neighbors.

    Good move

I used net van lines to transfer me to Las Vegas and it was a really road free move the sole issue I had was that they required 11 days to send but I guess it was not bad because it was around the entire nation. The sales man charles was fantastic he answered all of my queries that he had been rather knoledgeable I was amazed the way curtious and professional that he had been when managing me. I took my time since we’ve all discovered the harror stories on the market however due to the cost and the friendly team I utilized world wide van lines and I am happy I did what was hassle free that was exactly what I desired the client support girs were great although I phoned a couple of times that they did there best for me the answeres to my inquiries. The drivers were so great that they really took great care of my stuff quite minimal harm too little to mention that was fantastic all in all a very favorable experinece with net van lines they did what they said they’d so I wish to thank you for an awsome move understand I am all set to take om vegas.

    Long-distance move from Arkansas
    Very happy

My name is amanda and that I would be quite pleased to talk about my moving encounter with net van lines. I had been referred to net van lines with a buddy who moced together too. Initially I was anxious because I’ve hared many bad stuff kind individuals who used moving businesses previously, but in the end I discovered that there wasn’t anything to be worried about if you left the ideal option for a moving business it’s crucial for amyone to do that research before deciding upon any provider. The team who moved me was great. I was quite suited for the efforts put forth by both of these wonderful young men. They came punctually intruduced themselves and got right to work the motorist ted explained everything to me quite clearly. There were no hidden charges and they requested me before they did some additional services which cost money. I paid anything I needed to and that I had been conscious fo everything form begin to finish. The men were quite organized, tidy, considerate and carefull with my belingings. The final thing I want to mention is that they constantly resonded to y calls the customer service dept was excellent wendy and marie perform there tasks very well in a really sincere manner it’s quite inportant to comunicate using all the costomer because they’re extremely stressed out and nurvous to get a transfer for state to state and net van lines really made it simple for me I had been quite happy with everything from begin to complete thank you.
