    Very Happy

I was meet with the business. I worked along with other many large companies never needed my delievery punctually however Westart were among the greatest experiences I needed, I recomended for my friend she had been happy also. I had been moving my flat and had several costly dishes, so they packaged it for mepersonally, transferred it and it  was just like I packed all myself )) They never unexpensive but you really do want your things to maintain a fantastic hand. I paid approximately $2500 for all.

    Good Job Over all

My moving experience was fantastic from start to end. I moved from Los Angeles CA to Chicago IL. The movers were on program, respectful and functioned effectively. Everything came with no issue with the exception of a couple of minor dings in my things, as anticipated, it’s a very long distance move after all.

I would strongly recommend them to anybody intending to move long distance.

    Good Experience from LA Crew

I had a excellent experience with WestStar since the agent. I’m not completely certain how the procedure works, but we contacted them – they gave us a precise quote and all of the information required to create our choice to proceed. We had a mad tight deadline and somehow they were able to make it work even though it was the active time of year (May).

We moved from Seattle to San Fran (shorter movement ) and had our own things in about 3 times! We compensated for packaging and packaging support. This component of the support was”fine”. They did not have the greatest skills at business, but our stuff wasn’t prepped in any way! We made a decision to proceed and had the movers there in 1 week, therefore we did not have to do much prep ourselves.

On the rear side, there was one particular Russian inspector that has been AAAA MAZING! He’d clearly been doing it for a long time and was powerful and productive. I wish I could recall his name, but it has been a few weeks now. Fundamentally, he knew when to request advice (e.g. what happens ) and if to simply escape his way!

I believe that the difference manufacturer is always the true crew that you get. Mine was topnotch – LA based. I can not speak for the others, but I had a fantastic experience with them.

    DO not use WESTSTAR

I’m writing this to induce you to utilize WestStar Relocation to your move. They may have Navistar as title too (in was on our invoice ). We proceeded from June 2010 from Oregon to SC. The ceremony was so BAD, that I chose to wait for some time before writing a review because I had been so mad at the moment. I am aware that moving businesses have good and bad reviews generally and it’s tough to select.
We’d use Mayflower earlier and we had been disappointed in their support, so we chose to go with a bigger firm. Major mistake. WestStar Relocation showed up to take our employees 1 week after they stated – meanwhile we had been waiting in the home with everything packaged up. Thus, no surprise, they did not come to destination in time either. However, we didn’t anticipated them to be overdue by 3 WEEKS!! The worst was that the customer services. Every single time we called they had been behaving as they do not understand what the issue is. They couldn’t tell us in which the motorist was although they reassured us at the beginning that we’ll have the driver amount and will understand where he’s at all time. It took us lots of telephone calls and lots of pressure before we got our things. I won’t ever use their services in the future and I would like to assist you avoid making this error.

    Damages

This firm quoted me 5500 and the true bill was 8900.  They ruined my furniture and contenct me with Anthem Claims Management LLC (beneath carrier for Weststar) to reslove damages and issue.  Anthem is a shaddy business run by one individual and won’t respond to 6 written asks to repay damages to your own furniture.  I’m now working with CA DOJ, BBB along with the DOT.  This compoany has numerous complaints against them on the BBB site.  Don’t use those people!!!!

    Long-distance move from Irvine, CA
    Avoid at all costs

We had a coast to coast move and discovered BIMS are the most economical solution for our big family. We obtained a fantastic sales pitch, were informed that they”were with us each step along the way” but things began breaking down near moving day. Three days prior to the transfer, we had been advised WESTAR RELOCATION are our moving firm. I phoned my BIMS rep to tell her I wasnt pleased with Westar testimonials and was really worried. She advised me that I had nothing to be concerned about and Westar had been”A” rated, etc.. Moving day came along with all of the things that I read about from the Weststar testimonials came into life – price gouging for vinyl wrapping, being told we had an excess truck, etc.. We also paid for a private truck and guide shipping and Weststar told us we didnt get some of the. It, they attempted to extort more cash from us. I understood their match and known as BIMS. BIMS stepped in after two complete days of unnecessary strain out of Weststar to help. BIMS also did assist when Weststar refused to send the merchandise immediately, which had been the first strategy. Delivery day came along with my boxes were treated like children throwing legos at each other. Boxes that obviously stated FRAGILE were thrown around in my own garage. After discovering the absence of professionalism, I asked one of the employees if he had been an expert inspector – He and the three other men were picked up at the Home Depot parking lot as day laborers on the south side of Philadelphia. One was a convicted felon, one had been suspended over he threw up in my backyard (see picture) and attempted to pay it with his top like we wouldnt detect and he was illiterate so he couldnt read me the numbers on the boxes. The previous man appeared to be juicing at work with whatever bottle that he had in a brown paper bag. The Russian truck driver (not a professional inspector, just a transporter) did not talk, demanded his all cash payment and proceeded to allow these random street folks unload my home products while he sat in his air conditioned semiautomatic. Nobody connected with Weststar was at delivery. There weren’t professional movers involved in any way.

We chose to not allow the offender and drunk (who cleaned up the smoke with his hands once we faced the truck driver after which transported more boxes to the home ) or another road people in our residence. They unloaded everything into the garage and drive. They had no idea they were supposed to build the furniture disassembled at pickup nor were some of those guys qualified to do so. They literally dropped my own washer / dryer off the truck upside down (over 3.5per cent to substitute ), they lost numerous delicate boxes, broke furniture, wrapped within my children battery-powered ATVs, etc.. Expensive bicycles were all thrown together, like a jumble of metal spaghetti. It was really something from a horror film and that I now know the reason why I wasnt able to buy moving insurance for this particular carrier. I still have over 50 unaccounted boxes. Opening the boxes onto this conclusion has caused all kinds of suprises such as ceramic lamps thrown in boxes with heavy scales, baseballs. It was like somebody blind only threw things to a box. No wrap, no maintenance of these products. Stupidly, we didnt self pack anything breakable believing the”professionals” would do a much better job. BIMS helped before the problems became severe and now that I’m requesting resolution to the dearth of professional movers (breach of contract), cant receive any answers from individuals who had been”there with you each step along the way.” If BIMS simplifies this maybe I can upgrade my review however beware as you’re in the mercy of the”A” rated movers, which have been nothing more than home depot day laborers in my personal circumstance.

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

We selectd Weststar since they guaranteed to deal with all of disassembly and reassembly needed, and also to get one truck and a single team pickup and provide end to end. Neither of them proven to be authentic. They showed up late with already partially filled trucks when we explicitly agreed on one complete bath. In preparation, we inventoried our burden, brought within an on-side estimator, and full of Weststar’s online estimator. Each came up with roughly 20,000 pounds. When the driver finally came, they walked around for approximately 30 seconds, also declared that thier load estimate was currently 28,000 pounds, four TONS heavier than anticipated. They refused to load until it had been settled. After a few dread telephone calls, the revenue representative offered us a”Flat Rate fee $5000 greater than our initial estimate.” I consented, small option, and work began. We needed to get to a plane, so we didn’t observe the conclusion of the procedure. It was only after I understood that the flat rate eliminated the need that they weigh the load, therefore nobody could ever understand what the true weight was. This appears to be a classic bait and switch ploy. 21 days after another truck and the other team showed up with all our furniture. Crates clearly indicated”THIS END UP” were visible in the doorway upside down. The team virtually extorted up-front hints, food, etc., . asserting that their contract finished in the drive. When we wanted it at the home, we would need to look after those. They never reassembled anything. Our Adirondack chairs were so disassembled they had been nothing but kindling. A great deal of breakage, plenty of lost things, things which weren’t ours were blended in. I complained, and has been given the URL to the insurance carrier. Their take was a ) the paperwork wasn’t finished ( B) they are only accountable for .60 per pound ( C) they are accountable for anything packaged with the proprietor. So the whole insruance offer for nearly $8000 in harm was $272.30. Brian, the representative (visit the BBB rebuttal for this criticism ) stated after the insurance was completed they would”do right” by us to compensate for the harm, the failure to reassemble, rather than living up to their arrangement. Their final offer was $400. A whopping $128 longer due to their involvement in this catastrophe. IF we sign a confidentiality agreement and then eliminate our BBB complaint. They even had the gall to tell us that it cost them cash to reply a BBB criticism, which might have been more cash in our pocket when we hands’t complaineed. Don’t use this compoany, there are tons of honest ones, simply proceed.

    Long-distance move from Washington
    Poor followup, no communication

Weststar was contracted by Colonial Van Lines, yet another unethical business, and also to date can’t tell us in which our whole life is now at.
They over charged, attracted shuttle vehicles without calling us to let us understand that that there could be another charge.
Rather tough to manage the motorist in control and no direct answers after over 20 times of getting our consequences in their ownership.
Nobody appears to know where anything is or when it does arrive.

We’ve been looking for anything out involving Colonial, which was utterly useless, and known as straight to Weststar and haven’t got any useful details. Only that the motorist needs to know and Allie cannot get a grasp of this driver, therefore understands nothing.

DO NOT USE AT ALL COSTS

Take care not to use this business. They were really hired by Colonial Van Lines Relocation that I hired (not understanding that in the time)
My pickup at Los Angeles had been 11/14 plus also they had a delivery window of up before the 24th. They arrived on time but began adding packing fees left and right into the quotes I had been given. When they discovered I’d things covered, they explained that they had to be shrink wrapped in another charge. Should have been a red flag, however, no more, and today it is December 2nd and they’re telling me that the shipping window is currently Dec 6-10th. Here is the 4th shipping date I have been awarded, and meanwhile I am banging a futon that is borrowed on the floor in a vacant residence. I phoned them today to mention I had been sending somebody else to acquire the load up, but they tell me’ it is about the trailer at the center of a load and will probably be 1100 to float’ Could they prove it is on there using an image? Certainly not.

Prevent them or you may not ever get your possessions, I’ve not.

    Very Unprofessional

The men that moved my products were disrespectful and lazy.   The employees themselves were alright, however, the foremen spent most of the time speaking on the telephone in foreign languages also demonstrated no concern for damage to your own home.   I would NEVER use these guys again.   Don’t undergo Budget Vanlines either.   They subcontracted to the movers.   Most of all, the cost was almost $2000 within the quote given to me personally by Budget.

    Failed to Comply w/Contract

After waiting four times from the initial contracted date for pickup, the story kept changing, along with the pickup date kept shifting.   Nobody was communication, nobody was returning telephone calls.   No one appeared to understand what was happening, in which the truck was or when the truck could eventually arrive. Initially scheduled pickup for Wed.. However, I had been phoned on Monday and informed it may be overdue Wed. or maybe Thursday morning. I then was called Tuesday and advised it would undoubtedly not be Wed. but certainly could be Thursday. Subsequently known as on Wed. and advised that the vehicle had broken down and had a component. The part needed to be arranged, but could be received/repaired on Thursday along with the pickup was rescheduled for Friday or –at the very latest–Saturday morning. Someone was supposed to telephone me on Thursday with particular moment. Nobody called on Thursday.   I called, left a few messages without needing a call back.   I began calling again early friday morning. Every time I’d predicted over the past few days, I had been told’our monitor indicates the task has been picked up on Wed’???? NO IT WAS NOT!!!  I then was told that the truck had been stopped in a weigh station and also had a breach? However, the truck will undoubtedly be there early Saturday morning.   They’d call me if they had been 45 minutes off to let me time to fulfill them in the pickup place. Saturday morning, nobody called!   I kept calling before somebody eventually at 11am informed me that the truck had been at AZ, unloading, approximately 150 miles off, and could be there until 2pm, and could be calling me if they had been 45 minutes away.  At 2pm nobody had predicted.   I started calling each couple I had, nobody answered,or returned my calls in Any Respect.   The company to get Continental Van lines eventually told me that the title of the company also gave me their own dispatch Telephone number for Julie.   However, It Wasn’t a Real amount and that I could not even leave a voice email.   Subsequently the salesman stopped taking his calls. It’s currently 3pm, nobody at either provider is accepting calls, returning calls, or appears to really have a clue what’s happening. Read the other testimonials, clearly my next call is going to be to a lawyer on Monday morning.
