Please note the reviews of this company come from the same IP address( except the negative pieces). United American Moving, not movers but definitely people to steer clear of. ZERO STARS. I would not be quite as mad about this when they were not literally boxes out of Home Depot which you may purchase for no more than $10 each. My move was more than twice that which I was initially quoted. Granted, a small part is because of me leaving out a couple of things out of stock. However, it does not end there…. I told them I’d be available for shipping on December 29 that was my move-in date. Nobody had contacted me between December 23 and 29 so that I reached out again to determine when I’d have my items. The motorist said he wouldn’t deliver until sometime between January 3-5 since he wished to spend some time with his loved ones. Understandable. So after I spent a week at an empty flat, I needed to phone again to the 4th since nobody had contacted me around if my items would be sent. The driver says he’d be there on the 5th involving 12-2. In true form, he did not appear until 4pm. A number of my boxes were totally shattered. A number of my kitchen eyeglasses were broken. The display on one of my television’s has been shattered. My wooden coffee table seems to somehow have water damage. My swiffer mop is brokenup. My broom is lost. I signed a deal for this criminal business not knowing that they are BROKERS, had been committing a pic label of 4400.00 to go in Wichita Ks, to Orlando Florida and obtained RIPPED OFF. They brokered a business named United Relocation Movers and has been advised a delivery obsolete in June 24th, also I hired them on may 28th 2020, and I still do not have my possessions, I had been told there’s nothing they could do. I have contacted the FBI, lawyers generals workplace,FMCFA, st louise country patrol, st louise nation authorities and a lot more. As my possessions are situated somewhere in st louise mo rather than florida. I have called them several times with compensated 2291.00, on the carrier billed me 2500.00 upon coming and explained I will not receive my deposit down, I know need to cover 3100.00 extra on delivery, every time they feel like bringing! This place is absolutely a SCAM. I had been told during two different phone calls with them that they would call to verify my things a week before proceed, but 3 times before the transfer date they have not called. I tried calling their customer support, however, the phone just went directly to a voicemail box which was complete. I emailed their customer support and they were pleased to cancel my transfer but refused to give me back any of the $964 safety deposit since I was out of the three day cancellation window after signing the contract. They attempted to claim that they simply call 24 hours before the transfer, but that isn’t exactly what was told to me personally on the telephone nor in their verification email. I was also told that they did not answer the telephone since they merged with their parent firm Razor Van Lines. It does not state this anywhere in their site and their telephone is not forwarded in any way. Super duper shady? Definitely. I’ve registered a complaint with the Federal Motor Safety Administration, in case you have had a terrible experience with these men I recommend you to document also!
