    HORRIBLE COMPANY

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! We’re a military family who’d a transfer scheduled with this particular firm.  On 6/28/2013, the movers arrived 1 hour overdue and started packing up our home products.  Within 30 mins in the birth, I got a call that my mom has been rushed into the hospital so that I needed to depart the movers unsupervised.  My husband had been flying in to assist with the movement so he wasn’t there at the moment.  As soon as I returned back from the hospital after that day 95 percent of our possessions were packed, however, the cost radically changed from what had been initially agreed upon.  We debated against the movers that called his manager (who had been unworthy ) and since nearly all of our possessions were on the vehicle they threatened that they wouldn’t unload or transfer the car until a sum and extra deposit had been received.  My husband gave in since this is precisely the identical night that my mom passed out and we had been mentally drained!!!! The furniture came to IL unwrapped and ruined.  Our living space set is lotion and had no wrap and’d foot prints and rips onto the cushions.  Not 1 thing arrived undamaged.  They drove our winter jackets in precisely the identical box together with all our pans and pots.  We registered a claim, said in our agreement in the event of damages and obtained $114.00.  Here is actually the WORST storage business and WORST customer service ever. Thanks so much for Creating a devastating moment in our life much worse!

    Dishonest About Pricing

I bought a groupon with this business in the rush of a movement hoping I could spare at least a small money. I contacted the firm, prepare the date and advised them of my groupon. The business representative then advised me to provide the coupon into the movers to the day of ceremony when payment period arrived. Fast forward to the big day, what goes well until it is time to use your own voucher. Figuring out what to do for this, the driver called his supervisor who subsequently advised me that he’d be not able to take it. You notice, I had been shifting a studio flat and the full trip took about an hour although the company minimal cost is $330 – that was nice when I had been informed I will take the 250 groupon from the total. The supervisor, however, advised me that it had been their firm policy to never take a deal of this kind on a transfer less than 4 hours. Knowing that I had a little movement, I especially read the terms and terms of the bargain before buying it to make certain there wasn’t any minimal cost. There was absolutely nothing of the kind mentioned.   He jumped to indicate that when I wished to utilize the bargain, he’d bill me for 4 hours that would cost $580, in effect charging me 20 MORE following the reduction than I was initially quoted. Clearly I picked for the lower cost, only because the guy wouldn’t budge. Not only was my own movement created even more trying than I might have envisioned, but I ended up spending twice the cash on this provider.

    Be wary...

My two cents:  amazon neighborhood includes a $99 coupon bargain, so I called twins for more information.  That the 1st rep was upset when I asked about the way they’d wrap an HD TV.  (some have crates, some usage boxes, some only wrapping in blankets).  She proposed getting 3 guys solely for the huge TV?!  Blantant upsell that is not needed!  I had talked to 8 other specialist movers and all them said it is a two man go.  Then she began interrupting me constantly so I said goodbye because she was not listening to the client.  The internet site had lots of office and telephone #’s.  So I called a few. THEY ALL GO TO A CAP. HTS. CALL CENTER!  Do not be fooled, there are not any other regional offices.  Another person I talked to advised me that my transfer date wasn’t accessible?!  hmmm?   The 1st unpleasant girl said my date was great, but I hadn’t said the $99 deal.  The 2nd man (a manager or maybe that the”proprietor”, Issac) advised me that my date wasn’t accessible – however that knew I had the voucher?!?  hmmm?  IMHO = really dishonest… very secretive… quite defensive men and women.  I don’t trust this business and I am glad I did not purchase the coupon.  You’d be smart to generate a whole lot of pre-plans and calls should you really will use this firm.  Another reviews I see on yelp were additionally 1 celebrity w/ plenty of complaints regarding lying.  (how do these folks be in business?)  FYI = beltway movers, moyer and toddlers, and amigo say are the top 3 choices for the specific situation in MD, for what it is worth.  The 1st two are HIGHLY suggested by customer checkbook and were moderately priced.  That is my two pennies – recall… it is worth what you paid for this!

    Dishonest & Shockingly Poor Packing

I hired Twins Moving & Storage (www.twinsmoving.com) a year to package up my household products for storage.  My husband was in Afghanistan and that I had been going to Texas for the winter.  The primary problem came up as soon as the manager tried very difficult to bully me into paying over the quoted price in the ending of the job.  That ought to have been a warning.  My husband and I both returned to Virginia at March 2014 and got all from storage.  Twins Moving & Storage utilized boxes too large for attaching documents and it seemed many files were just thrown in, spilling their contents that became wrinkled and secured beneath the weight of documents thrown in at the top.  Antique novels were likewise”packed” willy nilly inducing harm to bindings.  We’re military so I have seen many packaging tasks and the standard of maintenance would be to wrap classic books separately in newspaper before putting them in publication boxes.  TM&S didn’t do this.  Big wall hangings were placed in wardrobe boxes without a cushioning or packaging because the clothing on hangers were placed in tiny boxes simply wadded up in figurines, balls and all.  Heavy books were put on top of wedding china leading to many broken wedding china bits.  Heavy novels were also on packaged in addition to an antique lamp which miraculously did not break.  I’d absolutely never, ever use this business.

First quote $1212.75, real cost $3400. Initially quotes at 2100 pounds but in thier very own fine print there’s a minimal 2800 pound minimal charge. Missing vacuum cleaner across the way, damaged bedroom place with broken supports on chest, crushed mattress springs that motorist stated occured because strapping was overly tight. Broken arm on preachers seat, a lot of scuffs on furniture. These men are authentic amatuers, they didn’t have the correct instruments to move heavy furniture and they utilized rental trucks so that I doubt they even have the equipment and vehicles to effectively execute this job. After the transfer that the damage claim we registered together with the motorist not made it back into the business, we signed for complete replacement value to the contract but are now being told that they didn’t charge us for that so we’re not covered. I’ve just begun dealing with an external insurance company and their records say they have another 90 days to solve. My reccomendation to anybody is to use another firm…

    Disgusting service

This organization is fake! It is a year later and tens of thousands of bucks paid and also our furniture is at the UK stuck in a customs depot accruing invoices. The business employed a currently liquidated”service” which was more economical for them to prevent customs and excise charge with no knowledge. They whined about it being in its own way into January. They dismissed contact efforts, desired us to alter the shipping address to Mainland, Italy to ensure it is cheaper and easier to them. They have been saying that they did not understand just how far Sicily was and one year later we still do not possess it. The manager is slamming down the phone along with his partner isn’t coming telephone.

    Moving Services Review

The movers were supposed to arrive between 2:00 and 4:00 PM. When they hadn’t came by 7:00 PM, I called and discovered that they weren’t ready to come. I needed to proceed that day, or so the team that was assumed to be three people arrived at 8:40 PM with just two people finally consented to come. Because of this, the movement required four hours and wasn’t finished until 12:40 AM the next morning. When I objected to being billed for three movers instead of the two that arrived, the Agency who had been taking good care of the paperwork wouldn’t depart until he talked to a manager. None were accessible at 1:00 AM. I eventually had to let him depart quite sternly as I had been echausted. Additionally, I had a round dining table which never made it into my new flat. I am not certain what happened to this. Regardless of the fact that I’d boxes indicated, toward the end that which was lost in the living area. What a wreck!!! The whole movement was a nightmare.

Just wanted to say Thank you Twins!!!

I’m a really picky person and that I had been doubtful of using movers because of my own move. I, however, could not move the furniture myself so that I phoned Twins Moving & Storage. I was so surprised that the movers took their time to be certain my things had been shielded and that I had access to my clothes on delivery. The price was cheap as well as the team employees did a fantastic job in working with each other to have it done quickly. I only wanted to say thank you a lot for the help. Marshall.

    Great Price Very Affordable

Contacting Twins Transferring to transfer my things has been the best move ever. The cost had been afforable, they had been favorable in time and ended early. I never understood hiring a moving agency was about precisely the identical cost as leasing a U-Haul and carrying itself. I was shocked if they offered to place my own sons bunk-beds back with them. The movers were more friendly and didnt waste everywhere. After offering them a couple instuctions they began moving my things out. I will utilize Twins Moving back and recommend them to all of my family and friends.
    Thank you Twins!

Thank you for a job well done!

I thought it’d be Wonderful to write this review with this business since they really do deserve it.    The sales folks was fantastic! They had been very knowledgeable about transferring my delicate items to a consignment store I was selling. They chose to wrap my items with cushioned blankets and shrink wrap to Be Certain nothing was ruined.    They loaded everything with the utmost caution…I had been a nervous wreck. . .lol, however, the men did a fantastic job in managing my items with care.   Most movers are racing and helpless Simply to make a Fast buck but they men Will Certainly get my company again and again due to their own professionalism.   Thank you again!   Greg –
