    Long-distance move from Connecticut
    Excellent from start to finish!

Our shifting encounter with Tru-Pak was totally topnotch. We’d like to thank Margaret for seamlessly handling all of the logistics and working together with us on our shifting program, meeting our orders at each turn. Justin and Zach, our movers have been cheerful, easy to use and exceptionally comprehensive! They functioned pretty much nonstop on a really hot summer afternoon to get the business done and took care of our possessions. Upon coming in NC, Justin and his helper provided the exact same great service using the exact same great attitude. Tru-Pak was exceptionally aggressive in their pricing and really made our move simple! We’re so delighted with the whole experience and would urge Tru-Pak highly!

    Parent's Move

My moving encounters with Trupak are exemplary.   The movers have always been on time, had good attitudes and managed our belongings with caution.   Besides tackling possessions carefully, they have been considerate and kind for my aging parents.   This was profoundly valued at that which was a Really tender time.   No complaints at all. I strongly recommend their services.

New Job from state to state

Tru-Pak transferred me in Richmond, VA to Charlotte, NC. You truly couldn’t ask for a more valuable set of men. They said they’d be there at 8:00 am, they got there in the 7:55 and called from the parking lot. I dwelt on the 3rd floor of an old building with no lift. They needed to take off doors because of narrow doorways at the old building and that I was not finished packaging. They finished packaging for me, wrapped my furniture and sent my furniture in Charlotte without a scrape. They had been so kind to other folks who lived in my own building. I would advise Darrell and Wally (I believe those were the titles ) out of Tru-Pak. Communication was wonderful. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

TRU-PAK Failure to comply with Contract

Ufortunately, I lately had my family moved by TRU-PAK. I state that since with no insistence, they didn’t plan to hold into the contracted delivery date and as part of their fixed cost contract, TRU-PAK added a fee of $337.00 for specialty boxes. Payment by certified test was demanded, therefore I brought one together at the contract number. When they came to load the truck (that was undersized), I challenged in which the boxes were. The driver told me that the team was taught NOT to deliver boxes. I spoke this with the driver and had been told I would want to take this up with the workplace using a solid of assurance which the situation could be adjusted (by cost alteration, of course; it was to late to go back for boxes. . .IF they’d have supplied them. Upon supply of all my furniture, I gave the driver the certified check for $3300; everything else would I do? . Then followed up with the salesperson concerning this circumstance. I had been told she would look into it and get back to me shortly. 5 times laqter. I had no reply, even to some followup reminder email. I attempted to take the problem up the series, but finally , I had been advised that tro-pak had suppressed the burden and that I should have charged more, so they wouldn’t repay the $337 I was billed because of the boxes. They look NOT to know, or are disinclined to take the thought o9f an agency contract. My idea is that I was in NC and today I am in DE, so what am I gonna do about it. Instead, 1 bookcase from 4 failed to be sent to my new residence. The answer was outright denial referring to”details” as reported from the driver that were utterly incorrect. The bookcase wasn’t of much worth so I am not even making an issue of it; I’m far more worried about being ripped off for $337 by overt refusal to stick to the contract. The main point of this is that tru-pak is dishonest in its business transactions and to prevent a hassle and/or fiscal loss, you would be wise NOT to work together. Buyer beware- be VERY conscious. I wish I had known this before expecting tru-pak to somehow nominally strategy the ownership of company ethics. Their site doesn’t mention membership at the BBB and that I can see exactly why not. This is apparently the only real alternative, however these are likely never read. I will retract this inspection (or change it), if tru-pak acts ethically and refunds the money for your un-provided things sold to me personally. I hope a few of you require this review to center. My loss can be your profit (or deficiency of reduction, possibly ) Bob Reuter, North Carolina

    Price Gouging & Mininformation

This firm overquoted by $7,000 to send my household products into Caye Caulker, Belize. Furthermore, they promised me it was a door-to-door service and also that the cost was all inclusive. As soon as I requested for an iteimized quotation it was not delivered. As soon as I chose to perform my own study I discovered that it wasn’t door-to-door and that the cost was inflated by more than 7,000.  I opted to get an global shipping firm provide a container to be wealthy in their warehouse. I had been quoted a cost to”load” the container and asked several times when there could be additional fees over the things I was being mentioned. Again, I asked, but not obtained, an itimized quotation in writing. As soon as I started to finalize the loading date and specifics, I had been told that the price could be in excess of 150 percent of the things I was initially advised. I made many efforts to speak to the person who owns the business, but my email and telephone calls were obstructed by Margaret Tallent. So far they’ve refused to achieve a settlement to the matter, and have refused to honor the exact quote I had been given. They are now refusing to take that my debit card for payment and also need a chasier’s check. I’ve used the debit card for payment repeatedly over the last yr. For charges. I reside outside the usa plus a cashier’s check is hopeless, therefore I shall now should have police involved to get them release my own furniture. I had been overquoted, overcharged, also handled with complete disrespect. I also had been misinformed and flat out lied to concerning solutions. I wouldn’t suggest Tru-Pak Moving Systems to anybody for anything between hauling or storing your household goods. Most notably, they don’t have any clue how to deal with an worldwide move. I don’t know whether any items are broken.

    Long-distance move from North Carolina
    Poor Experience

My firm had requested me to move from North Carolina to California. They’d me a sum to assist with the movement in hopes of making the transition as easy as possible. I picked Tru-Pak due to a personal relationship my girlfriend had with one of the workers. Thus, contrary to my better judgment, I didn’t compare estimates and services of some other businesses. This was one of my weakest encounters with a customer solutions based firm that I have ever encountered. Upon receiving the first quotation, I asked each pertinent issue I could think of and introduced every unfavorable situation that could perform. All of that, I had been assured would be coated and was surrounded into the arrangement I had been given.
I was initially told it could take 10-14 days to journey across the nation. And so, I really did my very best to plan accordingly. I phoned my rent in NC wanting to provide myself sufficient time to satisfy their team in Los Angeles. But it ended up carrying them the entire 14 times and their inner team told me that my things would be coming two days sooner than when they eventually showed up. Therefore, I sped across state to adapt their program, which subsequently caused the cost of 2 nights at a resort. I was also told they’d be charging me an extra $600 to get my items unloaded from a semi-truck into a U-Haul since they didn’t think they could park the Semi close enough to our flat. That is when my frustration kicked in and that I addressed the matter with the Revenue Rep. whom advised me that this fee wasn’t justified because I had been given a guaranteed quotation. But she couldn’t go on record stating that. Quite simply she was planning to allow me to take the fee if they couldn’t actually park a”Semi-Truck” at a residential place (that is totally unpractical at the first place and that I had not been told my items could be moved out of the initial truck into some semi). Fortunately they could park the truck”close enough” to my flat to not bill the extra $600.
Last, upon birth my tv screen was totally shattered. You’d think the very first response is an apology, but rather they immediately started to blame other members of the moving team because nobody needed to accept responsibility. The manager of the team known as the Owner, whom they all continuously told me how wealthy the guy was, and he’d promised to replace the tv in a timely manner. Now, two weeks later, the sole accomplishment was locating a similar T.V. at half of the price I initially paid. The first check that was issued was made from the wrong persons and didn’t incorporate the 9.5% state sales tax that they agreed to cover. To this day I’ve still not been made complete. Obviously , I would never recommend this company to anyone and I Won’t be surprised If They’re sued somewhere down the street by someone whom gets the cash and time to do so.
