    Willful breakage

Driver sent out using fresh hire driver and helper instructed helper about the best way best to take care of glass top. Helper dropped and broke two big pieces of glass. Driver was quite mad at the breakage. We paid to crate glass but it had been uncrated on automobile and fell out of mishandling.

A glass top dining table has been also broken. The metallic legs were not returned to us so essentially the firm stole our land.

Company will not compensate us. We will pursue in court. In case you choose to to use this business, be sure and purchase additional insurance and be ready to get surprise fees imposed once they’ve ownership of those things.

As a consequence of this experience I’ve done research that demonstrates this business has a variety of unsatisfied clients. Be especially cautious when dealing with broker Ernie Mc Nab.

    Bad Experience/Dishonest Service

Don’t use this organization. The salesman was considerate but not exhaustive and omitted, either by design or otherwise, important information we ought to have understood. But the majority of the advice he did supply was contradicted by the onsite foreman. As an instance, we bought additional insurance but had been advised upon finishing the delivery which there were three allowable options but because we did not picked one, our allowance, if a claim be registered, was $500.00. No stock has been ever taken or supplied from the movers thus, the price of many missing things couldn’t be compensated by maintain because there wasn’t any listing of these items was moved. Payment was also a problem. On delivery day that the movers refused to unload the vehicle before final payment was made and it needed to be by credit card only. Payment was shared together with the Salesman who advised us that any kind of payment was okay and that final payment could be made after satisfactory completion of shipping. The onsite foreman told me that that was not standard industry practice and that the truck could be unloaded just after complete payment was made. We noticed on the statement that we were billed for services not provided; their answer was”file a claim”. We did and also the claim comprised damages to our baby grand piano, fees for crating our glass dining room table (which came in a blanket), also for lost things, i.e., step ladder, meals, and ceramic products. When the issuer returned into our home to pick up the things they left (blankets, tools, 12 apparel boxes, and a few personal things ) they took images of the harm to the piano and guaranteed to return with our step ladder. The claim has been refused in its entirety based on the absence of a stock and no rear up photos. We also mentioned that the truck wasn’t properly sealed so we refused to initial next to the seal amounts mentioned on the bill. When we left final payment we observed that the seal numbers recorded on the bill were initialed by the”owners.” Should you really care about your valuables, do your homework and look elsewhere.

    THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I can not even start to explain how terrible my experience was with this particular corporation. They pretend to be wonderful for you in the beginning, but once they take your items, you will realize you have made a mistake working for this business. Not merely were the movers poor, but also the customer service was TERRIBLE. I talked with a woman called Delilah on the telephone that made each step in the procedure unhappy. They included on additional fees at each stop, dropped more than$750 worth of things throughout the moving process. They say they will just pay back $173, and its been a year and I’ve YET to get anything. They’re now not answering calls or emails. They also ruined several of my items.

I won’t ever make the mistake of working with this company for transferring again, and that I advise EVERYONE to not utilize them.

Fraud, Deception & Poor Customer Service

Contracted above business to transfer my furniture & home products from Inverness, Florida, to Washington, PA..   Had been awarded a guaranteed price contract and also forced residue when furniture selected up & taken to storage.   When time for shipping of furniture that the organization increased the cost with the justification that summertime deliveries price more.  Held furniture for ransom until cost demands were fulfilled.   The company, Ernie McNab, office employee Danielle were one of the rudest and most callous people I have ever encountered in a service business.    The business also forged records to credit card provider so as to justify their bill.   Would love to understand their business researched for illegal business practices.

    DO NOT USE!!!

Buyer beware, Transworld Van Lines stopped the transferred TWO DAYS prior to the scheduled pickup. A deposit has been made for the transfer. It’s now been THREE weeks and still no refund. I’ve been advised on FOUR different events”the check is in the email.” Now, I had been told that the”test wouldn’t be generated before the 1st” – yet another 25 days. Be informed you will most likely NEVER get a refund from the provider. I receive a different story every time I call.

    Terrible!

Run away from that. I’m in the practice of my transfer out of Houston to Atlanta at the moment. Have talked about 4 distinct supervisors who all don’t understand what is happening and where my stuff would be. If you already work together, be sure Benjamin Wilson isn’t a part of it. Incompetent and impolite. My movement is already two days postponed and they do not understand where the substance is and what is happening! Additionally, on the afternoon of packaging they attempted to force me to cover more vs. estimate from the binding contract. Terrible!

    Worst ever!

Poor customer support! They utilized more distance on the truck compared to the magnitude of the flat. They wouldn’t let us eliminate anything. They didn’t stand by anything. Could not get anyone to reunite our telephones calls. At $5,000 movement turned to a 10,000 transfer. Ridiculous! Fundamentally have just said sorry but it’s the motorists word against yours. Never again. Lesson learned.

    Poor practices and no consideration

Absolutely dreadful. Shawn King was the saleperson who telephoned me regarding the quote. Extremely pushy, then dismissive if he’s your small business. My account had been overdrawn as a result of his mistake and he’s done nothing to repair it. The movement out was fantastic, the movement into the new location was incomprehensible. 1 inspector walked out on the job since he believed that the other mover was disprespecting him. This was later phoning me expletives and demanding a suggestion. My mom and I had been left to assist the 1 mover do the job I paid them to perform. Numerous items were broken including a strong wood table. Transworld was originally quite tricky to contact regarding my claim and criticism of therapy from the moving staff, and today I’m completely not able to get ahold of anybody by any means. Regardless of moving through the BBB I’ve heard nothing from them and got no compensation for my overdraft fee, broken things, or labour my mom and that I performed. Stay off

    The Entire Moving Process

For all those of you who are contemplating using this company to transfer your things….think back again. Not only did the folks who packaged our things (in Michigan) throw jewellery (my own mother-in-laws wedding ring and also things out of my own wife’s jewelry box), however they ruined posts (framed things ). The products were saved for just a little over 30 times and once we obtained them we discovered that a number of those things were transferred from their initial packaging (my wife packaged a vast majority of those products. After we were finished unpacking each of the things we understood that there were some things missing. It appears like if the products were transferred from storage into the moving truck. . .they left many boxes in the storage center. We did not realize that until a few weeks after when we were searching for specific items.

I strongly advise that you don’t employ this organization and utilize anyone else to your own moving. I also attempted to speak to a person at their business (Ben who’s the Claims Director). When I initially got in touch with him to record the theft that he promised that he would look in to it and return to me in 24 hours. After 72 hours passed and he did not contact me I phoned him again….he was fully avoiding me because them (that has gone on for over two weeks ). The agents who hired the moving business (Independent Moving Solutions) has contacted them a few times also. The folks at Independent Moving Solutions were advised that they would call me. . .and they never did.

I can not tell you just how fed up I’m with those folks….they are thieves and liars….don’t ever use them.

Trans World Van Lines - HORRIBLE

I called a few times and each time has been told Lena was at a meeting and that the person who owns the firm was on the street.  Extremely bad customer support.  Lena eventually phoned at 10:03 a.m. and stated she had bad information.  She stated that my things wouldn’t be delivered before next week.  I advised her that was dumb and BS.  She stated that they were looking for a truck which they might put my things on.  I informed her this wasn’t my problem and also that the firm messed up and wanted to get my things her by Friday.  I informed her I did not believe I should need to cover the next delivery since they didn’t meet their duty.  She kept saying she knew and could speak with the operator.  I find it fascinating because she had been saying that all together and nothing has been done.  I need the furniture be here by Friday and that I explained I would need to pay an extra $800 to make that occur.  Really?  That’s F!! King BS!!!  So they can allow it to happen for an extra $800?  Really?  What type of business/operations are they operating here.  I told them that I would not be paying that they would.  I continued to whine but was getting ignored as many times before.  Additionally, Lena advised me that this wasn’t an immediate movement.  Where’s that the contract did it state that?   My brother-in-law called a few times now to attempt and help me to get replies but the business was exceptionally rude and amusing to him. They place his phone number to a”movers phone list” which he then began receiving calls each 5 minutes in several other moving companies; quite egregious on Trans World Van Lines.  I sent four emails to Lena Miller requesting an upgrade and has been dismissed and no reply.   When I phoned back in 5:00, Ernie/Larry, all his title was, answered the telephone and was really amusing and rude.  He suggested that he was the sole person in the workplace and could need someone return my phone.  You might hear people laughing in the background.  So they do not take care for their clients and attempting to please their clients.   After waiting all day to receive a telephone call I got a telephone at 9:39 out of Lena Miller and that is her answer;”The decision was tentative at the conclusion of the month, and maybe earlier. I’ll get in touch with you since I have during the week. Please don’t request Mr. Newhart to telephone the workplace, as he was instructed not to get in touch with our office again. His harassing manor Is Quite disruptive and unnecessary.”   That will be unacceptable to have to wait a month to get my things.  The Business is unprofessional and don’t put their customer first.    I wouldn’t ever recommend this firm to anybody for a transfer.  Individuals are rude, ineffective, regardless of organizational or client service abilities plus they all lie.  It is a HORRIBLE Company.

    Scam Kings Transworld Van Lines

    1) Fraud Complaint Against Transworld Van Lines, Dolphin Moving Systems and Commercial Moving Solutions.             We participated Dolphin Moving Systems to transfer us in Largo, FL to PGA Village in Port St. Lucie, FL.   Ernie McNab, the Organization’s Sales Representative, offered us a price for packaging, loading, and bringing to our New House in the total amount of $3,928.   This didn’t include storage.   Mr. McNab said the sum can be a little less or a Bit More, and stated this was a quote but should be quite near the real amount.   After Taking a Look at the references out of Arpin Van Lines about the literature that he left us and looking at Better Business Bureau for complaints we decided to proceed with Mr. McNab’s business.   The packers came punctually, did a Fantastic job packaging and did a Fantastic job loading the truck another day.2) We received a call in the Business stating they needed us to cover the bill a Few days afterwards.   I requested that the bill has been emailed.   When I received the email, the bill had gone up $768 over we agreed upon.   The woman at work said she did not understand anything about that.   She put me on with her Manager, Steven Stillins, that advised me that the invoice was more because we had more packaging supplies and we’d more weight.   I inquired for the Weigh Ticket, but not received one, but still agreed to cover the Additional amount.   Steve Stillins requested for many money up front; I stated that wasn’t what I consented to using Ernie McNab.   I agreed to pay for the local moving fees ($2,419) and could cover the balance upon delivery to my new home in PGA Village in Port St. Lucie, FL.   Steve Stillins subsequently told me that the $4,695 was not for the transfer to Port St. Lucie however, instead, only for the Neighborhood move up the road to their own warehouse.   Ernie McNab had informed me that the amount had been for shipping into the new House and it is directly about the Order for Service that’s their contract.   I told Steve Stillins that he Has to Be crazy to believe we’d employ his firm for $4,700 to move us down the road.   According to that I advised him I would not pay anything before he solved this.   He said He’d consult his boss, Greg Dolphin, the owner’s son, and He’d change the contract to”Binding” and We’d pay the remainder of the $4,695 when we obtained our possessions and furniture.   He requested him to send me an email to the effect and he did.   This email has been included in the documentation submitted to Wells Fargo comparative to the dispute.3) After we predicted the Business after closing on our new home in PGA Village to program delivery, we’re shocked to listen to the amount because of delivery was likely to be $6,416 (along with the $2,419 we’d previously paid).   This could have meant that a total to move around country of $8,835!   The Very Best fee ought to have been around $5,900, less the $2,419 currently paid, leaving a balance of about $3,511.   This sum could include storage to our furniture for 5 months, at $300 per week (roughly $1,500) to be stored on the initially loaded trailer (see Order for Service).   We were told if we did not agree for their extra fees we Couldn’t get our furniture plus they”would place it back in storage.”   This was directly told to me by Ernie McNab and he further said we might have Somebody Else pick it up when we did not concur.4) Another point of dispute is that we paid the $300 a week to maintain our furniture onto the initially loaded trailer.   Ernie McNab told us it would be better to leave our furniture on the initially loaded trailer to Prevent unloading everything and then reloading it to Prevent harm.   The cost to house it into their warehouse could be $266.80 per month, much more economical than $300 a week, however we chose to cover the excess to avoid harm to our own possessions.   When the truck came to provide our furniture it was a Very Different truck than the one which was loaded in our previous house and two other family’s possessions were filled in there too.5) Since the trailer was unloaded and reloaded, there was no hurt.   The first trailer was loaded securely and packaged attractively at our former residence.   When the various trailer arrived in our new house boxes were smashed, things were broken.   Their driver, Vinnie, stated he could not believe how badly the trailer was loaded and he could not get our custom dining room stand out since it had been smashed from the load pubs and continued harm.   We’ve got a $3,500 glass jar which has been broken when we unpacked it (we have pictures); we’ve got a lost $500 torso and stand; along with other assorted broken walkers. TRANSWORLD VAN LINES was (CLOSED) because 9-23-2011 (www.sunbiz.org) nevertheless they STILL DEFRAUD individuals under that title.
