Throughout July 2012 I contracted by Trans Van Lines to transfer my brothers furniture from California to Texas, where she had been attending college.   I picked Trans Van Lines since the salesperson I talked with (Julie Edmonds) assured me that a shipping date of 8/15.   I had been on a tight schedule and had to have the ability to move my girl to her aggressively. Then return to California.   Had I not gotten a definitive date out of Julie I’d have rented a Uhaul truck and completed it myself.   All of the other firms could just give me an’window’ delivery date.   I’ve got an email from Julie saying”provided that we could pickup by 8/6 we’ll get it all there by 8/15″.       I came in TX about 8/14 and instantly phoned Trans Van Lines to ask about the shipping.   Julie wasn’t in so I talked with the manager, Carri.   I suggested Carri that Julie had assured me that a shipping date of 8/15.   Carri immediately told me that They Don’t give Specific dates and they had around 3 months to shipping my furniture.   I advised her that I’d mails from Julie offering me an 8/15 shipping date.   She requested me to forward all those emails, which I really did.   She subsequently proceeded to inform me that the truck featuring my furniture has been creating a fall in KS and that I was another stop.   She stated that it’d be there either late Thursday or even Friday.   On Wednesday (8/15) I phoned Carri again to ask about the whereabouts of my furniture.   I advised me that I had an airplane trip out on Sunday and had to understand if I had to alter it.   She stated that it’d be there by Friday.   I called her again on Thursday but she didn’t return my phone.   I tried calling her again on Friday afternoon and didn’t receive a return telephone number.   By this time it had been obvious that she didn’t wish to speak with me personally and that I was becoming really upset.   On Friday afternoon I made Carri a concept that I needed to talk with the owner of the Provider.   Now it became evident to me that my furniture wasn’t likely to be there on Friday, and so that I paid $368 to alter my trip home.  After that Friday afternoon I received a call from the proprietor, Aviad Lankri.   I instantly told Mr. Lankri how dreadful I’d been treated by his own company and how there wasn’t any communication.   He explained that on Thursday night among the trucks had broken down and the truck which my furniture was on had to be diverted.   I advised him that it might have been nice for somebody to phone me and allow me to know what was happening. Do not even bother with this particular Firm.   Carri gave me the cheapest estimate and it had been a couple hundred dollara than some of those other businesses.   I asked her why they had been considerably reduced and if there weren’t any penalties which could be added after.   She promised me that there were no Additional fees unless you decided to get the movers do additional stuff.   The quotation was 1200 and I wound up paying 1900. The packers billed me for All Kinds of things that I had not asked for and they never said before the truck has been totally loaded.   Additionally, the quote of square footage was WAY off – and they did not even take All the things I’d recorded for the quote.   1 salesperson, I believe Sam, was really considerate and helpful.   Carri – that I believe appears to be the director – is rude and condesending.  I had been told my things would reach me in 7-10 days.   They’re a week old.   The movers did not inform me that I needed to pay in money when they arrived to unload and that has that much money lying about.   The movers also didn’t provide me the telephone when they had been one hour off Enjoy the stated.     A few of my things, like a Brand-new infant changing table, had been ruined.   Dont’ use this Business.   Should they look more economical whenever they give you a quote It’s Merely to Receive Your Company.   Their customer support is so dreadful.   Transferring is stresfful sufficient, do not make it possible for them to make it even worse!

No stock no longer bill of lading without any excuse.   After I did call her I asked for an excuse, Carri became aggressive, soon insulting and then stated that it was because she had been worried on her daughter.   I was very perplexed but indicated that Carri and I talk when she wasn’t obsessed with her worries vis a vis her girl.
This conversation never occurred.   Rather, I had been contacted by Avi through text message.   I predicted that’gentleman’ sumarized my worries.
Avi promised me that he’d obtain all of the info have it facing him and might address my issues.

DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE! They’re theives! We’ve just filed a police report on three guys who packed up our flat! We specifically told them not to carry things and they packaged them anyways. When our items came (25 days following them picking up the stuff ) we found three big boxes of different peoples possessions. We’re still going through items and yesterday we discovered that somebody went to our box that they accidently took while packaging (we purchased them especially to not carry particular things) and then they moved to the jewler box also stole a good gold vintage watch which was passed down in my fiances dad to pass down into our child! I haven’t in my entire life even expected this to occur! We’re taking legal actions with the business today. BEWARE OF THESE GUYS THEY ARE HORRIBLE WITH DATES, HANDLING (our vinyl bins were fully busted ), and They’re THEIVES!

Trans Van Lines/Heartland Moving Business is a terrible business to conduct business with. If at all possible, go with another person. If I could offer them a negative score, I’d. My dad passed away and I began calling moving companies to get estimates so that I could proceed to be with my mother. Trans Van Lines / Heartland gave me that the lowest priced quotation. They maintained they weren’t a broker firm and needed their own trucks. After studying a few of the testimonials about the business, I was worried and called the manager. Concerns like raising the cost once movers obtained to your place, contracting outside to acquire local movers to inspire you, and maintain your things hostage), simply to list a couple. I voiced to him of my worries and he promised me I would not have any issues like this. The only great thing is that they gave me 75 days with no storage, but was it actually free and also the moving men where great. Have not got my things however, so hopefully everything is there and still in terrific condition.

Transferring with Trans Van lines is a nightmare, so they made me wait patiently for 48 days. They carried things, instead of drag them, and they were respectful and considerate during the procedure. Everything was set in its place and they had been in and out in under 4 hours, even though I had a great deal of stuff and also a bedroom that they disassembled and reassembled, very well, for me personally. This firm didn’t honor their quote. They asked me to get more cash from the moment the driver came , they had been quite late with their own delivery. They asked for much more money to send my things; basically holding my things hostage in their truck. My shipment was not once weighed or measured.

Their offer to repay my claim was insulting low.

They packaged this a way it requires plenty of distance and after packaging everything and loading to truck that they said it is more than that which you booked. I didn’t book any distance, I simply asked movers for moving my items from the listing. It is their problem how they’re packaging it. After loading all they shifted my quotation from $1,200 to $2,300 with no prior notice. It is for the very same things I’d listed in the quotation plus bunch of other tiny products. My family needed to conduct business with this firm predicated on the”good” reviews online but those testimonials are only LIES. BEWARE!!!! This company gave me a projected cost of $1600 and then as soon as they got there and packaged all of our stuff the cost came out to $4415 because of 300 additional cubic feet since the way in which the truck was packaged. Trans Van Line is a dreadful excuse for a moving business. Please heed this inspection as a warning never to contact this business because it’s only a carefully calculated scam to carry your things, fiscally misuse you, and reunite your house in bits.
That is my own story:
Back in March, I advised my transfer away from Florida to Alabama. In preparing for your transfer, I walked through my home with the Sales Representative via telephone describing and record all of furniture and incorporating 20 boxes to proceed, so as to get a quote. They graciously gave me a $300 reduction for the”annoyance”. Following being a day behind, with fresh owners knocking on our door. I had no option except to accept those conditions. It is June 29, 2017. June 30th at 9am ET I phoned about my cost gap. I had been told that because of there is a discrepancy that my family’s personal furniture and items is going to be carried into Fort Lauderdale, FL and glancing in an unidentified Warehouse before the”maintains department” takes good care of our debate. I had been baffled. I requested to talk to a supervisor and was refused. Claims might contact me in 2-3 business days. July 3rd 9am CT I phoned Trans Van Line and nobody would talk to me and said my Family’s things are in an Unknown Warehouse at Fort Lauderdale, FL and that the Claims Center is assessing my situation. When I requested to talk to a supervisor I had been told that they were all out on Holiday for its 4th. July 5th 9am CT I phoned and talked with all the Claims Center, my claim hasn’t yet been examined at yet. Exhausted, I paid the complete amount merely to get my loved ones things delivered to people. We have been in a vacant home at Alabama sleeping on the ground for 5 times now. After paying and conceding, ” I was told delivery will be reached in 2-10 days also that this was my own fault for subsequent to the transfer. The movers arrived Monday July 10th. I’ve included photographs of just how crudely our house has been packaged with the truck along with a photograph of one of those boxes which was indicated as”Fragile” that I see the inspector literally toss into my property. We lost a lot in this movement; our sofa, a pub cartplus a family room wooden desk, floor lamps, and home decor & wedding souvenir. Can I mention that I did the stock checklist and proceeded nearly 90 percent of everything in the truck since the movers kept shooting breaks? As soon as I registered a claim for those damaged things I had been amazed by the Claims Representative which I did not buy the extra insurance and that they don’t owe for whatever packaged with boxes, regardless of the conditions. My family was provided $150 reimbursement for all these damaged things. Trans Van Line took a lot from my loved ones: our furniture, our thoughts, our cash, and also made our movement a nightmare.

I had been advised to keep this brief, so in brief, they may quote you one price but once they arrive to package the truck that they will instantly tell you that you’ll be over in cubic feet, for me personally it was a considerably overage in contrast to what I had been sending even though I had been sending less things than what was at the quotation. They billed for this extra cubic feet even before the truck was loaded. I had been told that they did not have the time to do the paperwork until after the truck had been loaded. In accordance with Trans customer support, it failed since the afternoon that they gave me the account number to cable to, and they CHANGED their accounts. So I then needed to rewire into the new account, for just another $30. So today the wiring charges had reached $110 plus they could not care less and refused to dock that the cash spent on off wiring my total, although 80 of that has been wasted in their own error. However, now I had been paid up and desiring my things…. Nicely…

He had been planning to charge me $250 for tape plus another $250 for shrink wrap. Needed to call office again and they advised foreman to not bill me. Geez. Now the movers that unloaded the vehicle, which has been completely different. They were fine, considerate men and women. They moved far beyond what I anticipated. We did get our things on the exact date we anticipated. Yes there some harm but quite minimal. Though I did get a leaf to get a kitchen table that doesn’t belong to me personally.
