READ THIS BEFORE YOU FINALIZE YOUR MOVE — We had a very horrible experience with The Moving Business. We hired them to transfer our stuff out of Santa Clara, CA into Glendale, AZ.. We chosen the Moving Company based on the reviews that we watched online. Little did we know at the time that the transfer will prove to be an excruciating ordeal for us, where our things is going to likely be DAMAGED, LOST and DELAYED from weeks.Here are several courses that we learnt and matters which you need to keep at mind.Lesson #1 ## – Read the contract. They can tell you some date of shipping however they’re liable to shipping by what they place on contract. There are so many different things from the contract such as their highest possible accountability. Do not trust what they say or perpetrate verbally.Lesson #2 ## – Enquire concerning the movers and packers that will finally be transferring your stuff. The one they picked for us dropped our stuff and ruined furniture.Lesson #3 ## – Insurance. Better take extra insurance / policy for your transfer. You will pay little additional but your transferred will be coated.  Lesson #4 ## – When you can, move things yourself. Perhaps rent a UHAL and push yourself. Sell off everything you may sell. Moving ought to be the previous option.Lesson #5 ## – Prepare for flaws and strategy accordingly.Detailed review — # Don’t anticipate the estimated delivery date that they inform you on telephone or that they place on quote sheet that they send. Mr. Christian from the company assured us that our stuff is going to be sent no later than June/02/2014. We then got a call from Viki that our stuff is going to be sent by June/09/2014. .then another call using a new company date of June/16/2014. .did they provide on June-16? Nope! They kept delaying and we eventually got our things on June/21/2014!  We moved from CA to AZ on June 1st 2014 and due to this delay we needed to sleep on carpeting for 21 days! But hey that is only a little portion of a lot more challenges that we needed to go through…I truly don’t wish to write about just how debilitating these 21 times were to us (given the medical condition that we had). You know what hurts the most? In the event that you’d given us the appropriate estimate of June-21st, then we’d have moved into a resort at least!  #Lost thing – They dropped among those boxes at the transit. Total value of items at the box has been $1016.33. . Monetary reduction is merely 1 portion of it. . Few things from the box were of sentimental significance which was with us for ages. .  #Damaged furniture – left side of the pop was totally ruined. We needed to throw off the couch. We’d purchased this couch 2 months ago! # Do not go by their evaluations, finally they’re the agents who will only employ the least expensive potential moving company to move your belongings. The moving company isn’t bothered about the standing of the business they employ. They aren’t bothered if your substance is missing /stolen / damaged!  In our situation they hired”Air 1 Moving & Storage” to move our belongings. You do not require an evaluation to find out”Air 1 Moving & Storage” is worst company in history! Just seeing their Yelp webpage to see about their exceptionally bad examined and unethical methods of writing great reviews about themselves -http://www.yelp.com/biz/air-1-moving-and-storage-­­­north-hollywood-3We never picked”Air 1 Moving & Storage” to move our belongings. If we had been given a decision, we’d have not hired them to transfer the things. Today you can’t just clean your hands off by blaming it on”Air 1 Moving & Storage”. Your remark that -“that you are only a broker rather than in a position to harm” is of no great either. #Insurance – We’re convinced by Mr. Christian of The Moving Company that any reduction will be dealt with by our house insurance. When we attempted to maintain our reduction from house insurance they advised us that harm or loss done by movers and packers are their obligation and house insurance won’t cover it. They gave me an alternate to file a police report concerning the missing thing as being stolen by my movers and packers and then claim the insurance. I didn’t record the authorities criticism because I believed that the box was missing rather than stolen. . ‘d”the moving firm” advised us concerning the insurance we’d have gone to get a much better insurance to insure our relocation!  All of us mess up occasionally or another and several things are inevitable. . However, furthermore significant is what we do about it..running away from the duties is simply not acceptable! I tipped your employees and gave them water even when they’d dropped and ruined my belongings. . .all in good faith. . And what exactly did we get? A settlement of 100$ that was I accepted, I would need to eliminate all of the terrible reports, complaints etc.. You know everything, I refused to pay, you are able to continue to keep my own 100$ but that I will find out this story from the public so that people are able to make educated decisions, learn from our mistakes and do not suffer like we did!

What started out as a nice experience went really wrong when they introduced me with the Agency who’d be moving my belongings. The testimonials on Yelp for Infinity Transferring were abysmal, some stating they had been threatened with physical harm if they did not cover them more money when their items were already loaded on the vehicle. I informed them I did not need that inspector plus they return to me with a different but attempted to bill me 7200. Though the contract I signed was’binding’ in 5200. They’ve a cancellation policy that states you have to cancel the transfer no more than 5 days ahead of the pick-up date, nevertheless, they simply give you the less than fair moving business in just five days of pickup. Additionally, the deposit is 995.00! You’d do better to look around for a separate agent.

First off I must have never trusted an expert who goes by the title JD!!! What was I thinking, I had been in a hurry!! They lied to me and advised me because I had such a little amount I’d have a flat rate along with the moving firm would package it. Then I really talked to this moving company and they said that they charge for boxing, and so I called back to talk to some man name DANIEL who’s an as**ole and I’d really like to meet him! I told him that the discrepancy with what I had been told and he explained they record all discussions and he’d get back together with me with it because his IT (his sister likely ) department went home today!! (LOL)
Obviously, I didn’t get a callback and I’ve called a lot of times and left voice messages!  I packaged 3/4 of my apt and Allow the movers pack the glass and tv, my bill went from $1700 to $2400, not adding the &578 I already paid this sorry firm!!   The moving firm said I shouldn’t have even went through a broker because nearly all of them are scammers and that I might have called them myself and saved $600.

My spouse and I utilized The Moving Company to our interstate movement in Boca Raton, FL into Provo, UT. They did a fantastic job by coming half an hour early and packaging our belongings quite carefully. Our foreman was great. The 2 employees packed all of our dishes at the kitchen since neither I nor my spouse had the time to do this. These men were also very fast, the unloading task was done very quickly, at a flash! They introduced all of the essential gear to move our belongings and if it was completed, we found that there weren’t any scrapes or dents. Nothing got missing and this is perhaps among the most significant things for me personally, including their support, obviously. When speaking about their cost, it had been more than excellent, I mean, we believed that we’d pay considerably more because this was a very long distance transfer but we didn’t and I have to compliment The Moving Business again. These individuals are real professionals and we’d urge them to anyone who wants to maneuver.
