Originally, the sales representative Bryan and director Mike that I talked with was really helpful and kind when checking my stock via telephone. Other mover firms needs a movie evaluation but this firm didn’t, that must have been my first clue, but Bryan promised me that they were”not like additional moving companies” that increase up costs as soon as they arrive to pickup those products. I told them I had only my bedroom collection picked up from my house and other things picked up out of a 10×10 storage (which was not even entirely full). The sales rep did a verbal stock of all of the things I’d and all had been well. They quoted me 1659 that I signed off on. Fast forward to now (move day) and many”assurances” afterwards, the movers arrived and discounted the cost considerably! They dropped in cost saying it would now be 3400!!! To get a 1 bedroom flat?!? Out of their heads! They explained that my 10×10 is measuring out to 800 cubic feet along with the sales rep has calculated 467 cubic feet. Though they confessed that it was difficulty on THEIR finish and that apparently their computer did not compute my 10×10 storage, they asked me if I was planning to proceed with the transfer! The paperwork I signed off on says they’ll be making another halt to a 10×10 storage, but nobody said that the cost shifting and I phoned them back several times about other queries I’d had.

This firm preys on people that are in time crunch to move. They provide you their assurances that they won’t hike up the cost when they get to your house, have you sign off on this”closing price”, take your deposit, and then wait till they are out on your front lawn to double the purchase price. This location is a joke!!!! My counsel will proceed with a movers firm that is going to have a visual appraisal before coming to proceed. They do so for a reason! Nonetheless, it’s definitely a learning lesson. Fortunately, I’ve got another week along with other choices to select from so that I was not at a tight time crunch so that I had been desperate enough to cover double the cost FOR THEIR MISTAKE. They was not even adapting or seeking to be held liable! I talked to Bridgett the supervisor (who travelled from quite favorable the other instances I talked to her to completely RUDE on move day) asked me” So would you like my movers to move you or not?!” How about NOT!? (I apologize for punctuation errors as I’m writing this at a really embarrassing state).

As others have stated they supply you with a very low bid. As soon as they arrive the quotation doubles. That can be an amateur moving firm. My quotation transferred from 1400 to 2800. Run away from Bryan and the remainder of those dishonest men and women. The truck that came was hardly drivable and just 1 individual to unload the vehicle. If we did not help, the man would have taken more. This isn’t a moving business. Dishonest amateur movers. Avoid them at all price. B

I have never written a review before, but also for the possibility that this may help somebody I am taking the time to perform it.   Texas Movers Group is a really dishonest firm. Initially communication was amazing, then once I began to question about my matters after 1.5 months no calls were returned or answered. While booking these movers I requested would there be some extra costs upon coming to my location.   I had been told NO from the revenue rep.  The movers showed up 2hrs overdue on this Sunday (May 26th- at a Penske truck) and prior to the motorist (Sean) could stock all of my items he said instantly that there was likely to be additional Price.   He tried to bill me for stairs, I informed him that was already in the contract.   He tried to bill be for boxes, so I advised him that I’d allocated for 20 boxes also that I just had 18 to that his reply was”Can you count them?”   Afterwards he ran out of thoughts he began stating the cubic feet at the truck in my contract has been 100ft less then exactly what I wanted.   I inquired how he can tell because they had never began loading my things… He then got frustrated with me telling me he’s been moving for Quite a Long Time and he understands those things.   Therefore I went ahead and let me include the excess footage and $200 value of packaging materials that broght my cost in $1300 to $1800 before they even touched anything! My transfer has been out of Texas to Florida that per their contract ought to have obtained 3-5 business days.   My things Weren’t obtained until 13 days later pickup.   I phoned and emailed a few times to ask about my matters, 4 days after I talked with my contact individual (Michelle) who subsequently told me that the truck broke down in Louisiana and they needed to order a part and fix the vehicle.   The reason she had not advised me was as her son was ill.   I was subsequently told that the truck could take 5 more days to arrive.   Now I simply created this cross country push myself at 2days in my vehicle, so providing a truck an additional two days…. I am not Certain why it required 13days Despite a breakdown.   Upon getting my items on Saturday June 8th, the motorist brought together his young child to assist him transfer my things.   My stuff has been jammed to the front storage compartment along with different people’s things that then made me wonder why I needed to pay additional for cubic feet once I did not even get the entire compartment for my own items! The driver needed to unload others’s things for to mine.   He had been standing on those people’s coffee tables and end tables Hoping to achieve for my things deep in the vehicle (I really do have pics of the )!   His young son wasn’t powerful enough to transfer a few of my things so he fought bumping into walls and yanking things in a fashion which should never have been managed. My bedroom dresser had been ruined, boxes indicated brittle were broken up and concaved from getting heavy things put onto these, my desk leg had been missing the base part, garbage was left around my location along with ONE BOX WAS MISSING!!!   As soon as I asked the driver about the box that he informed me it was not at the storage once he abandoned…. What storage?   My things were assumed to wealthy onto the vehicle and come directly to me. After a number of unanswered calls along with a claims site that does not work, my box has been discovered 1 week ago now (June 27th).   The box has been sent to a person in Boyton Beach, FL a few 4hrs away from me personally.   When FedEx eventually delivered my box yesterday it had been broken open and precious items inside were all destroyed.   I’m still to this day attempting to file a claim, their site still has error messages and Won’t Let Me submit the promise.   When I phoned I had been counseled to clean my cookies and history in my pc without avail.   I am still awaiting a call back from them too. This firm quoted a low cost and their service was absolutely dreadful.   I inquired why they did not just Request the money they had to gain from the transfer Rather than putting me through All This.   It isn’t worth the annoyance.

This business is a scam. They gave me a minimal cost promised me that the cost wouldn’t go up, Talked negitave concerning another firms and after the movers got to my house jacked up the price a few thousand dollars. There were broken things once the material got to my new residence. I honestly prefer of sold my things and purchased fresh on otherside if I understood that this was going to take place.

My daughter used the business to proceed. I flew to Florida to helswitch the shipping.   The time was just one day before I left to return home.   It had been advised to my daughter that it would be sent on for by that Monday.   Several telephone calls were made but was Not Able to contact anybody.   They say they’ve 24-7 customer support.   That is a lie!   I Wouldn’t recommend this moving business to anyone..they are overpriced and impolite.

They offered me a really low and fair bidding based on a precise inventory checklist. Not only was that the record true, but I offered several larger items before they even arrived. My quotation DOUBLED and they absolutely refused to honor my preceding quotation. Naturally, Tommy – that the environmentally friendly scam artist that offered me the strategy, was nowhere to be discovered after the bait and switch went down. Went out of a $1900 estimate into paying 3200. Full scam. Avoid at any cost.

Binding quotation of $5,280 – if the men arrived at the (unmarked, too little ) truck *4 hours LATE, I had been advised that my furniture was”over-sized” and could cost me $10,000.
I was Made to cover upfront & signal a BLANK contract (as more reviewers have said on other reviews like yelp).   The guys packing my possessions grunted, moaned, and goaned about things we needed to carry into our new home!   Because of them coming late, they needed to return the Following Day, I needed to leave the house to Receive my kids from school and when I returned into the home (the movers had been gone) there were 3 cabinets abandoned un-emptied whatsoever and other things left for good.   They needed to return again, and still did not get it all!   My wife wrote a review based on our experience so far, and Michael that the”Supervisor” FORCED her to eliminate it or he Wouldn’t have our possessions delivered!   We were again FORCED to pay/sign up front that all our possessions were delivered, when actually they hadn’t! We’re missing at least two 5′ boxes!   Many things are ruined, greatly!   We’ve simply hired an atty and he Is Not Able to Receive their atty to reunite faxes, calls, or emails!   Will update when something is done!   Throughout the Whole experience if You Would like to speak to somebody at the workplace or NEED to, then You Need to leave a voicemail Each Time!   By means of this whole thing I probably known that workplace 40 days and NEVER got a live person! Always needed to leave a voicemail, then Michelle would phone me back!

The movers who delivered our possessions, did NOT want to put the boxes at the corresponding chambers!   They desired to stack it up from the formal living room 100lb boxes on top of another for the spouse to unstack and haul into the chambers.   She had been lonely at the time like I was out of town! Attached are only two pics (this just allows two ), we’ve got 30 items broken, scratched, dented, melted, and so forth!

This firm: 1) Estimated my movement based on weight and then changed it to cubic feet once they came. 2) Arrived using a clean bill of concealed and stuffed it out after the actuality. 3) **Doubled** the quote of this transfer *after* they had loaded everything on the truck. 4) benefit from my mental state and forced me to sign items which weren’t correct. 5) Broke a glass thing whilst packing my stuff up and didn’t inform me about it. They left the massive chunk of glass from the bedroom where my puppy was and she might have gotten in to it. 6) Provided me with a **Craigslist** helper as it came time to unload my products.  

I moved from Austin, TX to Portland, OR. I obtained quotes with many moving companies, a number of them in-home. My salesperson was Zach. The costs ranged from $2400ish to $3600ish. The majority of the pricier ones went from cubic feet rather than weight. Texas Movers estimated that the weight of my items to be approximately 4.5 tons. Nevertheless, after registering, he along with his two men other men that didn’t talk any English came into pack up my staying goods and begin getting things out into the truck.I enjoyed the motorist all right, but I didn’t love his helpers. They had been disrespectful to my possessions and threw garbage on the floor with no respect. I could not start to supervise everything while I was still tying up lose ends of my very own. I’d already paid my deposit of 1/5th of the complete price when they’d came.

After the movers had my own belongings, I was supposed to cover half of the rest of the price. I moved out to the lender to acquire the money and when I return, all of my stuff had been loaded onto the truck. The driver said he may not have the ability to take the capital as it was not enough. My cost had not only improved, but’d *doubled*. They stated it was because I’d more than they believed I did and it took up more space. They’d projected it would take up 600 square feet and they maintained it ended up carrying 1200 square feet. It didn’t seem like that much to me at the truck, however, the motorist glossed it over. English wasn’t his first language and he had been difficult to comprehend. He kept trying to tell me that weight and square footage has been the exact same thing. I wound up phoning the supervisors and speaking together while I was always being forced to rush and sign the last paperwork. This was the final day of my rent with the flat and they said if I did not sign, they would not take the things. During this time, they took off $200 in my doubled charge.

This glass is remarkably thick and I still can’t envision how they broke it, but nonetheless it had been broken and only left there in which my dog might have severely hurt herself. I wasn’t overly concerned about the damaged item, as it wasn’t especially pricey, but I had been significantly displeased that nobody cared to notify me of it and had just left it there using a live creature no less. I attached a photo of that which was left in my Property.  

Throughout the upcoming few times while I was flying round the nation, I kept in touch with a shipment supervisor in Florida, called Sean. He seemed French, however I cannot be sure. As soon as I advised him of my dissatisfaction of the purchase price change, the estimate relies on false terms, the broken thing etc, I frequently felt cut off. The motorist was a beautiful person and he had no thought about my horrible experience. I felt bad for him once I explained my situation and asked him what could happen if I could not afford to cover the invoice. Sean called me again and said that if I did not cover the complete sum, my belongings would be placed into storage in Seattle and I’d be billed a redelivery charge of $800 once I did finally pay. While I was still in no way fulfilled, I paid the remaining portion of the charge. The helpers had not arrived yet, so the driver began unloading with himself. 1 man showed up who had been very slovenly and while he labored hard for the most part, he was sort of gross. He farted a lot right in front of us, but I was thankful that he at least new English. It looked like they could not get their other scheduled man to reveal so that they ended up sending a dude out of Craigslist. He was fantastic and he still worked really hard but I had been mindblown in the simple fact that they simply hired a random man from Craigslist. It could have been anybody and things might have been stolen with no knowledge.

At the end a couple of things were broken just like one of those pliers on the futon and some draws out of my true cheap dressers. I believe just 1 box was lost, and fortunately it was not too precious. It had things such as toilet paper, towels, garbage bags, and kitty cleaning supplies inside. One more thing which I found to be unsatisfactory is that the movers dropped out my dresser drawers in to boxes. You may argue that this was done to keep the products safe or to create the dressers lighter, but the boxes themselves were half complete and the substance not of specific heaviness to start with, inidicating that it had been done only to fill up more sticks and so consume more room. I haven’t bothered to pursue additional claims for those harms. I believe it’s more important that individuals know about those shady dealings out of a young girl who must have appeared easy to make the most of. I finally do believe I was swindled.
