Sykes Transfer and Storage

HORRIBLE, DON’T Utilize BEKINS/SYKES MOVING AND STORAGE – BEKINS. Moved from CA into GA..  Our van has been 10 days late, a whole 17 days later pickup.  Their head office couldn’t find our van to get 10 more times following the seven day cross country trip, and couldn’t tell us in which our possessions were.  They wouldn’t reimburse us for 10 days at a resort with 2 children and two cats. We were fearful that our whole van has been shot to Mexico and we’d not see our possessions again. Their company office such as the office of the president wouldn’t even return their calls.  We followed our van ourselves to SYKES MOVING AND STORAGE, also a Bekins holding great deal about Vivian Sykes St. at Atlanta.  It was sitting there for 10 times and Tom, the Bekins representative at Sykes Moving and Storage simply did not care whether it ever got sent. He explained it had been dropped off there by error and was not their problem.  It took 3 times of yelling and threatening to call the authorities to buy Tom in Sykes Storage and Moving – Bekins to send the van.  If they did, the”team” looked as though they’d only been picked up from a street corner.  Not one of them could barely speak English.  Though the boxes were clearly noticeable, they literally threw everything to the primary floor rather than placing each box within their various rooms within this three-story house.  A Great Deal of harm.  Tom is entirely incompetent and a liar, therefore beware of the Corporation.

I work for a moving and storage business in San Diego. It’s my job to reach out to additional moving companies across the United States to organize moves for my clients. The interaction that I simply had with this firm was HORRIFIC. The very first time that I called a person answered the telephone then immediately hung up. So I phoned back and somebody answered the phone, I inquired when they had a swimmer in their centre (so that they could get a freight dispatch of my clients mobile storage container ). The guy on the telephone said”Sure, you give me $100 and I will offer you a forklift.” Laughed, then hung up the telephone. Believing this obviously has to be a mistake, I called back and this time a guy by the name of Josh responded. I stated I was searching for a mover and he said”nope, can not help you” and hung up in my head. If that is the way that they treat potential client I shudder to think how they treat those who’ve already signed them up. Please, I urge anyone who reads this review to STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
