Their first quotation has been done by a Skilled and apparently trustworthy man.   They estimate from cubic feet.   The estimator went throughout the Whole home and told us it’d cost $2531.34.   When the movers arrived, the Quantity of cubic feet improved by 30 percent and we had been told the new fees were 3513.   We did not have the excess and it required weeks of discussions to repay this.    I think it was just settled since we did not sign the initial cost change in the pickup Website.   Additionally they missed an whole area of our home and blamed it on us, claiming we never advised them to appear there. It took just two weeks to fix this, and they refused to upgrade us on where our stuff was.
The movers themselves were considerate, however, the team on the telephones was utterly abusive.   I had been cut away, hung up on, and strangled in only for needing to know if the next burden had even been picked up.   This was easily the most bothersome moving experience I’ve ever had (and I have moved 6 times in five years).

I spent months searching around for a moving company and once I eventually decided to proceed with Sunshine State Transferring it was becasue they constantly followed up with me personally, their costs were reduced and their guarantees to perform an efficient job came up in each conversation we had.  I first spoke to some Rodger who mailed me the quotation then talked to Anthony who had been managing my account moving forward. A day prior to the transfer things began to shift but it had been too late to shop around for a different moving business…I left many messages for Anthony to get the specifics of the movement for example time, details on when my boxes could be delivered nicely I only had questions any normal customer could have when performing a long distance transfer for the very first time.  To make a long story short. . .my matters were picked up! I thought the team was reliable and that they understood exactly what they were doing they informed me my merchandise would be secure. Upon shipping in NY that incidentally was with another corporation. . .my products were moved from a moving firm to a different I started noticing a few of my things were ruined, my mind was broken, and my desk had scartches all within my screws were lost for my own bed and some other furniture. One of straw seats was lost, my brand new ironing board wasn’t there. My shipping happpend on July 25th 2014 and I’ve since been attempting to achieve the moving business, I’ve sent a few emails and I can not even leave a message. My items also came with large BUGS inside them! To anybody out there looking to proceed don’t HIRE this organization that you can REGRET it!!!! VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!!!! And my suggestions were quite generous because I appreciate hard work and professionalism and initially I believed my products were in great hands and today I’m UPSET, FRUSTRATED and that I will take legal action!!!! I paid twice what I had been quoted becasue of concealed charges!!!! Poor EXPERIENCE!!! I will add a few pictures shortly.

YURY on email says he’s that the Dispatcher Russian voice spoke down for my spouse and I, once I requested to talk to the Manager he promised to be the director and his supervisor has been in Russia. They have been late on the rescue by 4 times. They then wanted to charge additional to move upstairs, so this was not said. I recommend for those who will need a Moving firm AVOID Sunshine State Moving Company I strongly recommend Smooth MOVE 239-246-9544. .

HORRIBLE – HORRIBLE – HORRIBLE. Inform us they had their own gear and appear at a Budget rental truck. Showed up 7 hours late and requote the transfer in double the initial cost which we needed to take since we needed to be out by the next day because of home closure. They bring our possessions to their center, move it to a different Budget rental truck then push it to NY. Our possessions were packed and stuffed to the truck and that which was not”LOST” was scratched, dented, moist, or torn. I whined, however, it fell on deaf ears. I would steer clear of this company!!!!

To begin, never ever pick the least expensive business from a listing of several quotations. If the price is too good to be true, then IT IS. You will pay the purchase price by damages, losses, or being made to pay additional for meaningless items not previously mentioned. Sunshine State Moving is definitely one of these vile, horrible businesses which sap you of cash AND possessions. Why were they up north in the first place as it had been a Florida-California dispatch? They never told us this, until after we called and emailed them several times, frequently being referred to others again and again, or being placed on hold for awhile (frequently without picking up again). In this period they held our things in storage, something we never wanted or requested. Eventually a month and a half after pickup, they provide our things. They were supposed to give me 24 hours notice prior to hand. They gave me two HOURS notice. Which meant having to leave work early and suddenly. They put all of my boxes and items at the flat, occasionally stacking the boxes that crusehd every other. Some matters were ruined, most matters extremely filthy like muddy water splashed onto them. Charged us additional $75 as our ONE flight of stairs somehow counted as TWO thanks to the number of steps. My bf shortly recognized our most precious posessions were missing (guitar amp, sport program, othe expensive electronics). The movers let’s hunt their truck to get boxes tagged with a particular colored decal, but we discovered nothing Oh yeah, they also provided to provide us a few unlabeled items (paintings, child toys and such). Proof right there that they mislabel things. That which we received did not fit their cherished inventory list that they declared by. Once we left we contacted the business over and above about this and talked to Yury, who hunted the storages that they used (or claimed to) and could not find our things, and advised us to submit a claim. Please, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR TIME OR MONEY! They certainly do not deserve either.

The business promissed shipping on 07/19/2015, however, neglected. They neither have delivered nor even communicated,. I was unbale to achieve anyone within previous week. Took an entire afternoon to load all of my already packed items to the van, subsequently billed double what the estimated that the price once everything was already loaded. Then they said that my items would be sent no later than April 28th that gave them a whole ten days to find every thing to its destination, so I drove to the identical spot in 3, they still did not really deliver my things until 1 days when it had been picked up. Then they attempted to bill us that a”late” charge fee since apparently we did not have the kind of money purchase they needed, which wasn’t specified in any way. They also charged us the following fee since they could not park close enough. I moved in my storage device once they had all packed in there along with the vast majority of my furniture has been broken today, additionally boxes clearly indicated”GLASS” had thick things piled on top of those. The entire encounter was tremendously dissatisfying and I am thinking they charge a lot for breaking my furniture. Poorest customer support in the company. My daughter and her husband moved to Oregon a month or two ago. In attempting to become cost-effective she priced several moving companies and also landed on sunshine state moving. The cost changed and charges were inserted on that weren’t discussed. Regrettably I’m being shown incorrect. My transfer was initially scheduled for May 31st, the provider because of over booking needed to change it to May 30th that I labored with. I was the advised my furniture could arrive no later than June 3rd and probably June 1st because I’d expected. June 3rd went by and now it’s June 7th nine months afterwards. Yesterday June 6th I had been called along with my 24 hour notice of shipping. In 7:45pm that day I phoned my driver to request an update-he continues to be 3 hours off. I reside in an apartment complex filled with United States Marines and their loved ones that wake up at 4am daily (my husband is just one of these ). The driver is currently coming tomorrow morning-so he states. Tomorrow my husband is coming home after being gone for more than two weeks to return for 2 weeks then depart again for 6-8 weeks. The final thing I need to do is cope with movers if we are reunited but today I don’t have a decision. Not only is that the time dreadful, but my quotation was off with $679! I expected this to be a bit more, possibly by $200 although maybe not nearly $700 (mind you that the movers didn’t accept anything not in my stock list). To add to what that they also acquired my payments combined up and there has been presumed to be quite a massive quantity on a charge card and then a smaller sum of money upon delivery. They place the little amount on your card and also anticipate the massive sum on shipping. I’m really frustrated and unhappy with this organization and won’t ever use them again. I’m fighting wwith them today tyrying to receive my things but at this stage I am not certain I will. It’s been 20 days plus they dont return my calls and so are demanding the entire equilibrium front before they’ll send out the stuff for shipping. I’m devasted and want assist. Proceed with a true business, They already have 3 complaints using the DOT and its just going to get worse. They stated”take them to small claims court”. I am quite happy I found out today, what a unethical business this is. I won’t back down! I would like my money!

I have never used a moving company before, and I PROMISE that I won’t ever use this one again.  When I first scheduled my move for this business, I obtained a quotation of $1250.00, that was approximately $200 less than preceding quotes I’d received.  The girl, Amy, who I put up everything with, told me I’d have my possessions delivered within five days of pickup.  After she obtained my downpayment, I might never get ahold of her again.  I was then talking to a guy named Sean.  I had been traveling from out of country to fulfill with movers out of my previous place, and was advised I would be given a telephone call by 6PM the day before I want to know what time they’d be in the home.  They didn’t call me until 8PM, however, and explained that they’d be in my place at 8AM.  I instantly had to get on the street, being that I had been traveling out of 5 hours off.    When the truck came, it had a 8×11″ newspaper taped to both doors stating”Sunshine State Transferring” (GHETTO!) .  There were just two young guys, who did not speak English really well.  Despite the fact that the items which were to be moved were the specific same ones recorded on the inventory/quote, he then told me that it was likely to charge me more since it was likely to take up more cubic feet at the truck than they’d anticipated.  They also charged me a total of 150 for packaging supplies (although they were assumed to be contained ).  All of my things were boxed and ready to go whenever they came, but they billed me for packaging tape (at $3.50 a roster x 20 rolls) to tape the included blankets round the furniture, in addition to charging me to get vinyl wrap to secure the wrap blankets/furniture.  I had been in a rush, and had to be from my flat on that specfic afternoon, so I’d no option but to proceed with this.  On a positive note, the two guys were very polite.    The movers picked up my possessions on Saturday and I had been advised to expect them that Wednesday.  I called the office on Tuesday since I had not heard anything and had to learn if I had to remove out of work to the delivery.  When I called, I couldn’t reach anyone in the 1-800 number that I was using.  I found a telephone number with a Florida area code on their site, so I predicted that, and really got a guy who mostly spoke English.  He explained that they’d be bringing Friday or Saturday, and that they would telephone me at least 24 hours beforehand to allow me to know for certain.  Friday arrived, and I did not hear anything, so I called the 1-800 number and got Sean online again.  He advised me that they’d be there Sunday or Monday, and Once More, that They’d phone me a day beforehand.   Monday came about, and that I still hadn’t heard anything.  Afterward , I got a text message by a random number which I hadn’t ever noticed before asking if it’d be fine for him to send my possessions at 10pm that evening! I really don’t feel that it will get any more unprofessional than that! I chased him back and told him to possess the office call me to establish a suitable moment.  Sean called me and set up delivery for 8am on Tuesday.  I went ahead and worked out things with my supervisor to take the Whole day off on Tuesday so that I might be home for the delivery.   Tuesday arrived and at 9:30AM, the movers still had not arrived, and that I had not heard from them.  After several unsuccessful attempts, I eventually obtained Sean on the phone who told me he’d attempt to get the driver and then would return to me.  About 10:15, I got a text message in the driver stating that he had been an hour off and that he’d get on the street in a quarter hour.  When he came, he instantly wanted his payment until he’d begin earning my possessions.  Payment was in the kind of money or money order, and that I had the money, but after how they had handled the circumstance, I didn’t wish to give him the money, and have him run away with my possessions, or not send all of them, therefore that I refused to give him the cash up front.  Then he refused to start unloading my things, and stated he would have his dispatcher call me.  Sean subsequently called me, and explained that he had the payment or that they were not likely to have the ability to send my items and the next time that they came out, they’d bill me $500 more to an additional shipping fee.  Sean and I got into a heated debate after he Wouldn’t accept responsibility for the bad service They had supplied me with, he hung up on me, also known as the driver, telling him to depart with my possessions.   The driver then abandoned, and that I still didn’t have some of my stuff.  I called the driver and asked him to return with my things (since I already wasted a day away from work and actually only wanted the procedure to be done and over with) and he explained he’d require the cash and to test with his dispatcher.  THe driver came back, I paid him, and he delivered/set up my thing (mind you, it had been just 1 delivery guy ).  He was professional in this section of the delivery and everything came undamaged.  HOWEVER, I REFUSE to ever use this business.  Save yourself the moment, pressure, and money, and go with another business.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.  This is actually the very first time that I did not check testimonials. . .my error. . .if I’d, I never would have done business with this organization. I had been given a quote from Tysh, nevertheless,Public Movers did that the true packaging, moving,& unpacking, (seems Public Movers is a”agent” of Sunshine.  Ad states which Sunshine doesn’t utilize representatives ).  After Public Mover showed up (late) to package up my furnishings, the number needed almost doubled.  I had been advised to”talk with Tysh” (out of Sunshine Movers).  When I asked her about that, she explained that Public Movers shouldn’t have doubled the cost.  As soon as I emailed her later my furniture has been eventually delivered (with one broken item of furniture. . .cast iron from the way). . .she stated that there wasn’t anything she can do but to refer me to Liz in Public Movers.

We advised the moving agency out of Cedar Town, GA to Jacksonville, FL using Chad Abrams to get 2-4pm around 2/8/13.  They said they’d provide an affirmation call 1 hour prior to coming.  At 3:30pm, I called dispatch to learn the status. Yury (dispatcher) was the motorist (Constantine) contact me.  Constantine said he’d truck issues and was in the store but could make it in about two hours.  At 6:30pm, I phoned Constantine back to learn the status.  Constantine reported the specific same thing that he stated in 3:30pm, he had truck issues and was in the store but could be there in two hours.  I asked for a manager to call mepersonally. I got a call from Shawn who stated he had been a manager at 7:25pm.   He stated he would have yet another truck here in two hours… we never heard from the company again and they didn’t appear for support.  I called all of amounts supplied but received voice mails about all traces.  Additionally, I sent several emails but didn’t receive an answer.  I have asked the $100 deposit back but have not heard from anybody yet.

My husband and I recently used your business to get a transfer in Duluth, GA into Baltimore, MD and we all had among their most unhappy experiences going I have ever heard about. The truck made Johns Creek and led by Baltimore…that a 10-12 hour drive. Upon many telephone calls into the firm hoping to monitor our belongings, the truck did not arrive till Tuesday at 10am – the afternoon that my husband began work so that he was not even there if they had been unloading – that was an issue since I’ve got a three month old infant to often. You’d promised me that the truck could arrive 1-2 weeks after.  Upon review, this is another truck than the one that our stuff was packed into!! We had been billed to fulfill this 2000 cubic foot truck, but this one was bigger. The Agency that afternoon could not explain why. When I called the proprietor explained it was since I was not able to get dispatch the next day after loading (although I had been – nobody ever asked me when I could get second day) and they had that truck to get another transfer. The movers took 8 hours to complete our belongings. 1 big bookshelf would not match trough the doorway, so that they took it away to get indoors and refused to put it back together.  Your business only takes cash or postal money order on shipping. I’d a cashiers check. Return to the lender to acquire money purchase. Seemingly a money order in the lender was not great enough to them – it was a postal money order. Had to return to the bank again and get money. . .which, to be very frank, I wasn’t thrilled about giving somebody that much money.  After shifting my residence, I have discovered 9 things brokenup, to incorporate the toasting glasses out of our marriage, a couple of ceramic kitchen products, a couple of beer glasses along with the topper into our porcelain grill. They forgot to transfer my kitchen trashcan, broom, step stool and entrance door welcome mat. After the packers first arrived in our house they were three young guys and appeared to be hard workers. They were from overseas nations and had trouble communicating. Although they did a fantastic job wrap everything in quilts and used alot of tape. I knew that we just had a partial load so that our items could be taken into a warehouse before they had another movement going north. This was problem number one because the movement was initially schedule for 2 AM daily. Later in the afternoon, Chad goes back stating that the movers won’t be there till tomorrow (mind you that this can be following a very long day of being caused by false claims and lies regarding a precise arrival time from sun ). This again is an issue because the movement was scheduled to happen around the 11th. The movers arrive the following morning (the 12th) at a Penske moving truck which they probably leased out of Home Depot. It’s a team of two movers at a 20 ft. truck. It takes them approximately 6 and a half an hour to clean out a two bedroom flat, even though we’d already packed all of the things in the flat. Another difficulty happens on the overdue going day when our motorist spends an additional $1250 into the initial estimate (our initial quote was 1524 with all fees included, along with the last bill was approximately $2800). They were considerate, coped nicely with hiccups (problems with using the elevator if our construction said we’d ), efficient and fast (if it does not match, they will take it away or find a method!) And explainable with all the cost.   I got 3 quotations in my location and they had been smack in the center.   I had them perform a Complete pack and move.  

The package went quickly – I totally recommend this for those who have not before – you’ll spend DAYS deciding what to keep and which box to place this in.   They understand just how many boxes, arrange it by space and toss everything in there with no 2nd dilly-dallying thought.

I recently transferred a 2 bedroom condominium from Georgia into York, Pennsylvania with sun state moving. This is the best moving experience however. They picked up everything in time, and delivered on time too, with hardly any damages. This is a really stress free move. I would strongly recommend sunlight state movers to anybody.

Men did fantastic job. There were a few unexpected conditions, but generally everything went nicely. At the very start before they began that they explaned me all of the details – what they gont perform, by what means the project’s gont be achieved, so that I had been awarned. When talking to two other movers I chose to phone Sunshine State Moving Company, Inc. back. I talked with Amy again and she had all of my information stored. She gave me a quote of $2,750.00 for its transfer. I had been dreading the conclusion of the telephone because I guessed she’d attempt to up-sell me and end up jacking up my quotation by double. Surprisingly, she did not attempt to get more cash from me, she had been really considerate and friendly as she’d been the complete conversation and explained that she’d contact me ahead of the move.
My moving day comes. I could not feel that the movers really came in time! The movers were also nice and considerate of my possessions. They had been’nt racing and as far as I know did not drop anything. I had been scheduled for my destination before the movers (of course ) and the day and time that they had been scheduled ahead, they came. Yet more, the movers were very nice and helpful. I live alone and did not have anybody to help me unpack long story short they took their time to make certain that everything was right where I needed it.
