Gave 1 star because I could not give two stars. We hired Franklin Van Lines to move us from Nebraska into Michigan. For starters it truly isn’t actually Franklin Van Lines it is Sunshine Transferring of America from FL. You call their customer support line also it states Swift, the salesman that I worked with was outside of Denver the shipment individual is at FL. Along with their claim division is movingclaims.net. You never truly understand who you’re working with and all of them are different. IE the salesman does not know dispatch. The delivery man was on proprietor so that they brokered out my load. Of which the salesman explained did not happen. Everything which may be lied concerning to us, was. Lied to about the cost, form of payment, shipping date, etc.. We had been told our items would be sent to us on 7/25 and we’re only getting them now 8/2. Anyone I emailed or called inquiring about where our items have been acted like we have to have already had them. After first contact about where our items were our telephone calls did not get answered, they’ve caller identification, our messages did not get returned along with our mails did not receive an answer. The dispatcher said I would get called back in 20 mins no phone again so that I called after approximately 3 hours and then left a message. Obviously no call back as soon as I phoned back the following day that I have hung up on. We believed that they had lost our items. We needed to invest over $1000 awaiting our items as I began work and hadn’t any workout clothing or shoes, needed to eat out as no other pans and pots, my pet dogs particular meals and meds on automobile to needed to outgrow those too. Upon shipping they only except money or money order in post office. Talked to some gentleman who have claims concerning when we had been to receive our things and that I needed a reduction. He inquired what could make me happy and that I told him that I did not need to pay another dime supply us all our items and go on your own way. I had been told okay so once I speak to him another day to inform him our matters are arriving and motorist is anticipating total amount in money he says great and you also owe him the cash. I was dumbfounded as I believed we would find a discount. Then he informed me that I must await my promise to experience. So actually at a round about manner that he, the claims manager, also lied to me personally. I discovered of the shipping driver that they had our items in storage in Omaha. I can go on and off but in brief don’t HIRE SUNSHINE MOVING OF AMERICA DBA FRANKLIN VAN LINES to perform our proceed if you don’t do not need your things punctually, lied to, and also discounted. Additionally, I reported this business into the FMSCA, they can not do anything legitimately but they will place your complaint on record with Sunshine Transferring of America’s DOT number in order that others may read and see the criticism. Do not fill from the moving businesses email as there are numerous mails you need to deal with when dealing for this corporation.
