I’m happy I picked Summit van lineup for transfer. Their sales rep was very polite and cautious, their team was professional and considerate they were upfront and honest about what that they explained everything and ensure that it had been accepted by me. They were on time and did not waste no time getting to me fresh site. Everything got there harm free. I could not be more satisfied with my pick.
This organization is excellent, I had been put into a scenario from my company I needed to move to Georgia and those guys helped me in the last moment, they helped pack up and met me a couple of days after, Thank you so much!
What a fantastic adventure going together with Summit van lines. I’m totally fulfilled by the service I’ve received. These guys were good, I had been impressed with how in which the team shattered the furniture and then wrapped all. We transferred us with no hitch thank you for Summit van lines.
Selecting Summit van outlines for my own transfer was the best diction I created. Initially I was very scared after all of the horror stories I heard about moving businesses. I did my research and after talking to Summit, I felt that the most secure together. They did not disappoint me. They gave me the very best support possible. They took good care of my things as though they were there own and save them for free for a month before I finance my new location. I could not ask for much more. Thank you, Summit for making my movement simple and worry free.
I suggest this firm with a full five stars! When going from Fort Lauderdale FL to Orlando FL I hired on this business to assist and they surpassed all of my expectations. The staff was friendly and managed all of my possessions with care. I’d hire them again with no hesitation.
My transfer was a little movement so that I did not get to much attention from different companies Summit handled me since I had been a massive move they answered all of my questions and gave me all the information I wanted. The movement went amazing they have there on time and the movers were so amazing so I needed to inform about it thank you Summit for making my move worry free
Most moving companies I know of are actually all about their own marketing. If it has to do with the true occupation, they are rather incompetent. When I needed to transfer in Fort Lauderdale, FL to Charleston, SC, I asked around to find out who possess the ideal method for this enterprise. Many people indicated me to employ Summit van lines. Their sources are enormous since they very often do interstate moving. I spoke to Sammy in their business on the telephone and that he was also quite resourceful. He also gave me a quotation which was not inexpensive, but not unnatural either. They shipped 4 guys and all of them were quite proficient. As I spoke to them I knew the Summit van lines actually cares about expertise whilst hiring the team. Their trucks are at top of the internet. I say choose them!
Thank goodness for.Summit Van Lines, they transferred my father by Maryland to Florida, at the cheapest quoted rate, stuck into the cost, did the transfer in time, fast and efficiently… and the customer service was great and the movers were useful. I was relieved, because, other moving companies were attempting to nickle and dime me, quoting additional charges, for” needing to move a couple of thing up a flight of cellar stairs!” I hadn’t ever heard of anything similar to this. Afterward , I call Summit plus they gave me a fantastic quote free of additionsl ffees and adhered into it. I would advise Summit van outlines to anybody moving and will just use them, from that day forward!
Everything worked great after I decided to proceed with Summit what was taking good care of they shifting encounter stress free what went easily they picked up and sent as guaranteed that the cost was fantastic and the customer support was enlightening I’d highly recommend them
My husband and I recently used Summit Van Lines to move us from Florida to Pennsylvania. The groups in Florida and Pennsylvania did an excellent job. They all were very professional and easy to utilize. We were delighted with the entire turnaround time for the transfer and the price remained as anticipated from the quote. Overall it was a fantastic experience and we appreciate the efforts.

The concept of moving makes me want to crawl back to bed and also cancel the entire thing. I am so grateful that I predicted Transferring Kings by opportunity to have a quote. In the very first telephone call I understood this move was likely to differ. For the very first time in my lifetime I managed to relax throughout the crazy process of transferring all of the possessions in 1 home to another home.
The people from drifting Kings were courteous, professional, and functioned in a speed I was really pleased with. I felt as though my possessions were in great control, and they had been. The whole process went very easily and with no complications, which can be AMAZING in comparison to how stressful proceeding usually is. Extremely pleased with the support I received, thank you!
I recently transferred from Miami Beach into NYC. A pal of mine refered me to Summit Van Lines. After calling I had been provided with a free onsite service Sammy the onsite estimator arrived and supplied me with a binding quotation at no cost. On shift date 3 movers showed up on time that they had been professional and friendly they chose their time to wrap around my things with fantastic care. On shipping at NYC the movers needed an insurance policy certificate together with them for the construction that they brought up my belongings into the 15th floor that they unwrapped everything and put all my products in their own place. The price that was quoted was the price that I paid not a cent extra. Thank you Summit to get a good moving expreience.
Summit Van Lines did an superb job for our loved ones. We proceeded from Orlando to Palm beach. A three room house with Garage. Nothing has been broken. Each of the movers were very personable and did a diligent job. We’re extremely satisfied with Summit.
Our household had employed Summit several times. We did this because we’ve been quite happy with the service. I have a couple houses and that I utilize Summit exclusively due to the cost and high quality of service. I’ve used other moving businesses before. I decide to continue to utilize Summit since nothing succeeds, and everybody is quite respectful and authenticated to those things. This specific movement wasnit that large however, our others happen to be. I opine that Summit can perform a excellent job for you.
Thank you,
Jim
I hired Summit to transfer my two bed room home from Florida to Maryland.
Max and his shifting staff were excellent, punctually considerate and hard working. I’ve already recommended them for some buddy.
Affordable, enjoyable, fast and that I really don’t believe anything has been busted. I would not be afraid to use them again. Fantastic job guys, thanks!!!
Summit Van Lines were quite professional in there transferring everything out of my previous house for my new house! Everything was performed professionally and timely!!
My family lately employed Summit vanlines because of our move.Wewere reffered to utilize them with a family friend we’ve known for a very long time.We contacted our revenue represntative that was simple and quick to find a exact quote. He clarified the quotation with perfect accuracy so that I was very impressed and chose to utilize them.On the transfer date our team shows up all in appropriate attire and appearing quite proffessional. We needed them supply us with a complete support job.All our things were packaged professionally in the price we agreed to on the quote. We obtained all our things three times later in great condition. The man brought all our things up two floors free of extra cost that’s a plus.I will surely return the favour and reccomend them to my other friends and loved ones.
This firm was the finest moving company I’ve ever used! We’re extremely delighted with the work. Nothing broken.
AMAZING COMPANY ! Very quickly employees. Can use in the subsequent five years with no doubt! No lost things and the employees are so loving and sweet. Best moving business I have used ever!
Some products were broken along with other things were not wrapped correctly in relation to my children’s bedrooms sets! Among those movers spilled coffee in my master bedroom rug and did not say anything to me personally. The problem was that the selection although they were quite quickly and worked hard. In general expertise is 4.5 rating. Fantastic job to the employees and business!
I transferred a lot due to my occupation I had some Fantastic experience and a few bad but going with Summit was my Very Best experience by far the professional services was amazing the team was fantastic and the cost was fair in how everything went you can tell they’ve a Great Deal of expertise they knew precisely what they were doing what was completed professionally I value you created my move so Simple and worry free thank you summit van lines
The team has been on time and very professional. They finished the move with fantastic speed, agility, and over all else carefulness. Nothing has been broken or scraped. It was a really nice and pain-free movement. I wasn’t hassled for hints and the last amount was as estimated.
I am in agreement with all of the other favorable reviews for Summit van lines. This is actually the very first time that I have used a moving company; I had consistently used truck rentals and buddies before (never again). I’d talked to Junad a couple weeks back; becoming scheduled was as simple as ordering a pizza. Leo and Ali demonstrated around some location immediately at 9:00 a.m. and got right to work. Everything was transferred in an organized and efficient way with a terrific amount of caution to not harm any of my own furniture. They were performed with 3:00 p.m. well over the quote Junad had contributed. The cost was just what had been quoted, no cushioned or hidden charges whom I’ve heard of by different businesses. These guys really deserve all of the five star ratings they have received and I will use them each time that I need to proceed later on (that I expect isn’t frequently ).
After studying evaluations on moving businesses, I expected the worse. I am delighted to write, that this is actually the very best moving experience I have ever had (and likely will have). The movers arrived 30 minutes early and labored effciently and professionally. I thought, alright maybe it is because they operate best on the pickup side. These men were equally effecient and practitioner if they unloaded our products. And yes, the came 30 minutes ahead of their estimated period. My husband and I’m wowed by Summit Van Lines.
This is our first time with pliers plus they were just terrific. The salesmen Yosel was fantastic They were very useful, worked fast, and were cautious with our items that had to be transferred. We requested them to perform a great deal of things which were above and beyond simply moving and they could take things from storage and also get them in the ideal location. Really hard working. You may feel confident in their capacity to maneuver your valuables securely.
I had been seriously Searching for a very efficient moving company to transfer my house I transferred from Fl into IL after I talked to charlie I felt as I discovered that the wright moving business then I had an onsite quote sammy came into my home clarified everything and gave me a more binding cost of support the transfer went smooth that the movers got there on time and so were quite carful with my things the price remained the same I could not ask for greater
My transfer was a neighborhood move but what went so good I needed to inform about it. I phoned summit and talked to Charley who had been really polite and pleasant. He put me up with an onsite quote for a binding price. Subsequently Sammy arrived to my residence. He was so knowledgeable. He clarified everything from A-Z. He was quite informative so I picked them. Then the day of the movement the team came and that which went the way. Sammy clarified I was really pleased with my selection. They stood by what they promised. Thank you, Summit.
I needed to plan a transfer in only 3 times, I phoned a few companies, among these had been Summit Van Lines, along with their workers were very professional and answered all of our queries. I said to them I needed to proceed in two days, they stated there wasn’t any issue, that they might aid us, they even offered me to obtain an onsite quote that the estimator was on time and well prepared. He gave us the exact quotation immediately after inspecting exactly what we had been intending on going. He was quite considerate and I could tell he was very seasoned. We chose to talk with Summit, their workers kept in communicating with us, this made us feel much more relaxed since we understood they were making certain everything out of our move goes nicely, and allow me to tell you; THEY ARE AMAZING! , they came punctually on pickup, were quite cautious, everything was just how we had been informed it’d be. We paid exactly what we had been quoted, we obtained our shipping the identical day with no scrape, along with my loved ones and I’m quite delighted with the attention and service in Summit Van Lines. Thanks for what you guys did for us; KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!! We’ll surely suggest Summit Van Lines for our family and friends.
I transferred out of washington to california the Movers got punctually for the pickup and delivery the team did a grate job to pickup wrap my things loading and getting it securely for my new home with at the time that they assured I got it all in great shape I would recommend you guys to all my friends and family GREAT JOB THANKS
I simply proceeded with Summit van traces from Georgia into North Carolina. The reason I picked them was that Yousel the sales man was wonderful. He answered all of my queries each time I called (and I predicted a great deal ). The cost was fair and the reviews were so great. They transferred all of my things. I had a great deal of breakables. They bubble wrapped and crated everything proficiently. All my things came the way that they left. I could not be happier with my selection. They did what they said they may and also the price remained the same. I’d suggest them to all.
We had a terrific experience together with the team were super pleasant and accomodating. Everything worked out as intended I’ve utilized other moving companies earlier and that firm needs become the greatest one yet I’ll be recommending them both the client service and movers were both proficient and really professional and they maintained there word regarding what
We got 3 quotations and summit did their very best to match our very best quotation and shipped Sammy around two to make sure his quote was right.
After picking Summit, we decided to pack our own containers and corrected our quotation readily on the telephone with Charlie, that had been very patient and consistently supported adjustments to our verbal quote in an email, together with an updated quote.
Before moving day that they called to support. Our 3 movers were powerful professional guys who worked hard and were really respectful of our house and possessions. They came back the next day as worked and planned to get the 17 hours which was projected, even though they probably did more like 19 but we were not billed anymore compared to the quote.
Quincy (head mover) was quite personable and supplied 5 wardrobe boxes in addition to wrap for the over big image frames and TV which Sammy had stated they’d help us package.
Should you use this business do not forget to nourish the men and supply cold water since they work really hard and such long hours with little time away. I expect you’ll tip then also!
The communication and follow up in the business was outstanding.
We packed ourselves with Home Depot along with uhaul boxes. The kits from uhaul (kitchenware and eyeglasses ), in addition to extra apparel boxes are money well spent. You may purchase online via uhaul.com and transport is free- however can take a week or so.
Coping with Summit van lines was really Simple and worry free out of there customer support to the inspector everybody was so kind and understanding Whenever I had a question that they responded immediately they camera to pick my belonging up punctually and delivered with in the window that they gave me I couldnt be more please I defnetly got my money value
I Want to urge Summit van lines since they actually knew just how to handle my transfer the took good care of my furniture as though they had been there have that they wrapped everything and transferred it out of 2nd floor into 4th floor with no harm the cost was reasonable and the everyone was so pleasant and accessible thru the all move
I simply go from Texas to Georgia. Initially I was so worried since it was summer and the children were home but then I talked to Yosel from summit van traces. He had been so useful and enlightening thru the all move. Summit arrived to my property. They did all of the packaging for me and that I did not need to do something. It was wonderful. They were very cautious with my things. Then came the shipping date. They attracted the things together with at the timeframe they promised. I had been so pleased with the movement I needed to inform about it. Summit van lines left my move a wonderful experience. I’d certainly use them again should I proceed.
This company is fantastic from the Selling man Yousel that was so informative and professional and was with me thru the all move walked me through all and made me feel great and comfy the movement went smooth everything moved really good and quickly the you Yousel and summit for creating my movement a Fantastic adventure I’ll recommend you guys to everyone
We had been a bit put off from the needs of cashiers test delivery and signing off on credit card modification rights…. However everything worked out nicely in the conclusion! The packers were on time and did a comprehensive job ( though we packaged all boxes beforehand and dismantled the furniture as possible)….the material was saved there for a week as asked and came in our home a couple of days later. All seems to be complete and accounted for! The delivery driver has been able to make it down our little road with no shuttle truck. Overall we are extremely satisfied with the pricing and support! And no I am not a worker or friend of their organization’s.
Both motorists (pickup and shipping were two distinct people) were directly to the stage (no nonsense kind of men ) when answering some questions that I had. I’m unsure when I had been overcharged or not, because my quotation was $1723.04, but that I actually paid $2700. I needed to buy about 5 boxes in the driver since I ran outside, that added to my own cost. The driver who picked up my things informed me that I could possibly spend the binding charge that he had been quoting ($2700) and that I could permit them to weigh the truck out with my things onto it, and then I would need to pay the whole actual burden of my merchandise in $0.48 cents annually. He informed me that by taking a look at all of my possessions he would see that it would be roughly $3,000 to $3,500 that I would need to pay when I picked the weighted alternative. The motorist did package all of my furniture really well and with wonderful care, which I greatly valued. As soon as I got my products two weeks after, 1 part of furniture has been broken up: my television stand. Ahead of packaging we figured that this could occur because it had been made from pressed wood, so it was clear. I’m also currently awaiting a box which has been missing in my own collection. The driver who delivered my things unpacked very fast, and had every thing within my flat and then put back together in about 2-2.5 hours.
Summit van line is an excellent moving agency. They transferred me out of my previous home in west palm beach all the way to some new place of whiteplains New York no rush. They did a fantastic job, nothing broken, lost or missing during the transfer. A ideal move I’d say and could definantly give them a call first if I ever go to return to my previous home at West Palm beach Florida.
Overall a fantastic experience. Yousel our Sales Rep made sure everything worked out very nicely. For what has been transferred a terrific thing. Really good communication. Took good care to actually pay decor. Very much on schedule and time. Peter and Serge were good to use and actually took some time together with you to learn what you wanted done. They were quite fast and effective in transferring every thing where we desired. A joy to work with everybody at Summit at a stressful move interstate movement.
This is the very first time I ever moved to date Florida into Atlanta. I’d so much worries having somebody else besides my loved helping me go. But I have to state Summit Van Lines compelled me feel so comfortable with my possessions. They were very tender and they even called me onto the street a couple of times. I would strongly recommend this business to anybody.
Good Experience!!! Thanks for everything you did!
The men out of Summit Van Lines are all excellent. They gave 200 percent of the power and effort making my movement as efficient, smooth and enjoyable as you can. They had been postponed by some mechanical problem with their own truck… that, admittedly, was fairly inconvenient… however I still recommend them. Why? A) Even though they could have cheated me and insisted that I reschedule for the following day, they didn’t. They stuck it out and transferred me into the night to ensure I forced it into my brand new area and also to work the following moment. B ) They have been good natured and even joked about with me a bit, even though it had been their third movement of the afternoon, at midnight, and that I understand they had been tired. 3) My material came in excellent condition.
Don’t Suggest Summit Van Lines whatsoever. They were just one day late in choosing out my things up (truck issues ) then I asked early Shipping and they arrived late day, scheduler spoke hardly any English. They dropped my pc but since I did not stand and rely boxes that I obtained $0.00 not dependable and disreputable, don’t urge and won’t ever use again.
I had been told before moving that my cost was $436 and could take about 5 hours to move..It took them 12 hours complete and didnt receive all my possessions on the vehicle. They didnt know I was transferring my clothing. . .are you kidding me ?? I had been billed for more than that I was supposed to since they anticipated radically wrong..The two men moving spoke hardly any English so it was an entire communication mess. . I think this business owes me an hour or two of overcharged cash since they awakened not me. . .If they dont . . I won’t ever use them again and will let everybody know to keep clear of utilizing these folks. .
Insane
I’ll give them this– the motorists showed up if they stated they’d. Don’t have a issue with the employees — they have been respectful and considerate. My main difficulty was in communicating and the status of my possessions. We had been in the unfortunate situation of needing to move with no new speech. We left our things in their palms for around a few months while we drove over state and also found somewhere to reside. I had been advised to get them ASAP– offer them two weeks notice to receive our items to us. The moment we’d ordered to get a move-in date,” I predicted Summit two weeks before we can proceed in– and had been advised that they would place us on the program to provide our possessions AFTER our semi annual date, using a 30 day pub!! For two months, we had no idea once we’d see our possessions. I’d have enjoyed knowing their delivery coverage up front. Fortunately , they did appear one week following the move-in date.
Problem– all our boxes, rubbermaid bags, bed frames, bikes, bookshelves– you mention it, it had been blasted up. Just the sturdiest boxes survived unscathed. THey somehow was able to chip the advantages of the dining table ever after they wrapped it using blankets!! Among those loveseats was stained with axle grease. Not only did they charge us over their quote, we have been required to replace a few of our possessions. After waiting nearly 3 weeks, we were eventually provided a settlement which didn’t incorporate the dining table and couch, and drier — all of which they wrapped and was able to hurt. They simply provided us payment for smaller items which didn’t weigh very much in order to prevent paying on the insurance.
Obviously, I won’t ever suggest Summit Van Lines to anybody ever.
I signed up a contract April 1 to possess Summit Van Lines, INC transfer items in storage out of Falls Church, VA into Ft. Lauderdale, FL. On April 28, 2014, a Summit Van Lines, INC rep called me once they had loaded their truck that afternoon, to state that the job will be 3000 rather than the”Summit Van Lines Long Distance Binding Quote” of $1080 to get 10 crates, 5 carpeting and around 20 boxes since I had more poles. When I told them that I did not agree, they explained that they’d”do me a favor and also bill me just $2,500.” I advised them to place the things back in the storage area. It’d cost $600 to accomplish this, I had been told. I agreed to cover the $600 since it was still cheaper to put the things back than pay for the transfer given the new quotation. I believed that was the ending of it. To me, I get a call one week after telling me that an 18 wheeler will be at my home the next day to purge my stuff in the storage area in VA.. No 18-wheeler might undergo any area in the region. I had been told that I’d then have to pay $300 for a different truck. The following morning that the 18 wheeler showed up, parked on a street some distance off. The driver of the 18 wheeler Said that I Would Need to pay $400 for a different truck. Instead I moved into a Budget lease, a mile off and ended up paying $28 for a little truck. The driver of the 18 wheeler explained that I would need to pay $100 for labour to unload. I gave him the $100 and a $40 tip. All these will be the unvarnished facts. I’m still thrashing in my head what I might have done to make this experience somewhat harrowing.
Packing:Clothing boxes, have flipped upside down into truck. One had no pub, clothing on hangers only thrown in along with different items at the top.
Areas began packing then proceed to another person. I needed to move behind them call focus on missed things.
Legs and remotes for beds never packaged with bed.
Left all of their garbage behind.
Unload: afternoon late and may think about nothing but becoming another job. Boxes not place in rooms that are right.
Desk and amusement centre ruined. Given distinct tales as the way to get reimbursed. Bet I don’t do.
I had the tiniest movement potential, under their minimal requirements for a transfer, but nevertheless they managed to misplace my big box with the maximum dollar value (and private worth ) plus a brand-new vacuum cleaner. I really think they uttered the box since it doesn’t make sense that my main box has been lost somewhere and can not be found?? I am so angry because all I got was a sorry and that I did not receive any money back in the insurance either because I did not take photographs. I’d receipts of the priciest items, for instance a small inventory of jewellery for my own eCommerce shop (yes, I know that was dumb but my small car was packed to its fullest and that I wanted space for my own two puppies ), but no photographs so that I did not get one cent back.
Do not be as naive as me thinking they’ll take complete responsibility for your own things. Anticipate the worst and shoot photographs of EVERYTHING. I won’t ever use a moving agency again. Can I tell you that my nightstand was busted also. They awakened 50 percent of my things!! They told me if I predicted that they were assessing with previous deliveries, however, they never called back when they promised. I needed to call and then call to receive any response whatsoever.
Here is actually the most powerful moving company to utilize. The movers lost and stole a number of my home. They also maintained up arriving with fees and ended up creating the movement not worthwhile. They stole a box of sneakers, dropped my bra mirror and shattered nearly all of my furniture. I am just grateful I didn’t transfer my car together given how badly damaged my items were. They’d most likely have stolen my vehicle and claim that it had been missing. They came late and suddenly, and the movers were quite rude and haughty. Their insurance is well worth nothing. Get your personal insurance for those who want one. I wouldn’t suggest this firm.
I hired Summit to perform a go for my mom and they were able to hurt a couple of items in the procedure. They pretend to care if they provide the move. We pointed out broken items and they took pictures and notes, then they let you begin a claim with their insurer (moving claims.net) that can be a third party firm. As soon as I phoned Summit and requested them to send me the images and notes that they took, they explained that they don’t possess that info. You may take weeks moving back and fwd together with the insurance provider, needing to demonstrate that the products were hurt by the movers. This whole time, Summit isn’t in this process since they are going to inform you to take care of the insurance comany. The total estimated quantity of harm they caused was near $1000. I filed the promise at July 2019 and Feb 2020, the insurance provider sends me a settlement letter saying that they will just pay $72. These firms are a joke! DO NOT GO WITH THEM!! Save the hassle, do a little reserach and select a better moving business. The burden of proof is going to be placed on you to undergo their convoluted insurance policy procedure to simply be dissapointed in the long run. I didn’t sign the settlement, and I am currently seeking legal guidance. This has been personal to me
Don’t use this business! It’s a nightmare! Showed up late, kept asking me when I needed all our things packed, whined that we had a lot of things, took 14 hours to package a regular three bedroom home, and still had to have yet another truck come to receive our beds. Took over two weeks to get out of Indiana to Florida. They were overdue, many items were broken, hauled things in boxes, didn’t completely unpack as they said, took 12 hours to unload, place beds collectively incorrect, and am still wondering exactly what system they had to package.
I would not recommend this business to anybody, they shifted the terms in the previous time around the pickup moment (one person less to perform the task but retaining exactly the identical time quote ) without telling me and that make them to expend extra hours to perform the proceeding and they bill you by the hour (or portion even).
After speaking with two managers the only response that I got is that the prices had changed and there’s nothing they could do on it.
When I first complain about the modifications throughout the pickup instant, the woman on client service forced me and said that although the men were sitted they’ll count as a portion of the transferring time and that I’ll be overcharge for this too.
They also said that they were planning to wrap all of my furniture which they did not and now I must take care of a different organization to earn the claim for several of the wood furniture which have scratches and scratches, among them even was dropped throughout the staircase and can be badly ruined.
Should you really care about everything that you have spent in your home do not use this business, they aren’t trustworthy nor specialist since they call themselves.
I would suggst that you don’t utilize Summit Van Lines in case you’ve got real interest in understanding what it will cost you, or even close to this, prior hand. I really did the most thorough job I could in that respect given there wasn’t any onsite estimator in this field which could come and take a look at the work first. I gave an extremely thorough inventory to Yousel and has been advised that in doing this I might find a more”Binding” price of services, rather than simply an”quote”. Well, there’s nothing binding about a”Binding” price of solutions as I discovered afterwards. The binding price was $2600 for approximately 5200 pounds of things for motion from North Carolina to Colorado. My stock list had 127 things onto it, to incorporate a precise couunt of all boxes by size to ensure Summit could more carefully estimate the burden. I truly believed that should they understood exactly what they were doing, they need to be somewhat close in estimating using an extremely comprehensive and accuract inventory count. I had been told that also by Summit. All things considered, this is their organization. WRONG. The loaders showed up in a 28 foot Ryder rental truck, proceeded to fill it about half complete, and notify me that I’d 1000 cubic feet of products and the revised price could be $4700 (which included a $350 fee for needing to use a shuttle truck because semi’s are prohibited at the development – that wasn’t mentioned prior or within the initial quote by how so please be cautious ). Just a mere $2000 from the initial”binding” price of services. I had been told in reaction after I voiced my extreme displeasure that,”but you really had 150 things in the inventory, not 127 so that may account for some of the gap” – REALLY, are you serious with this debate? My stock count moved to 150 from 127 mainly since they split down the beds and label each indivudal bit as a stock item (headboard, footboard, side railing, side railing, supports, box spring, bed ) so while in my”binding” price of services my stock reveals 2 beds, and the amount of stock items for both beds is really 16 or 18 items on the stock constructed during loading. So much for this logic. Anyhow, long story short, I advised the loader to go weigh it and I’m waiting to hear exactly what that’ll be. I would explain this as either intentional bait and switch, or really, very bad at estimating. I hope the second issue, besides this price gap, will be failure of the goods to arrive in Colorado at”very likely 6 to 8 days” since I’d been assurred on many contacts with client services. I suppose you really do get what you pay for and that I need to know better, Summit was much more reasonable at the estimated price to transfer those products compared to other businesses I’ve checked into which will have been my first hint that it wasn’t what it seemed. At $4600 I might have employed for not a lot more several businesses which could have obtained the merchandise right from loading into the destination, then at least I could be certain I receive them timely. In this scenario who understands and I’m likely looking a 2000 more than anticipated in prices. In equity, the loaders were quite professional, courteous and efficient. Fantastic men. Too bad that they work for this organization and are compelled to supply the”bad news” to the client such as this while people in customer support make everything seem rosey right up until the transfer!!! My advice – if you’re likely to utilize Summit, just do this if there’s an onsite estimator in your town that will visit your place and provide you a fantastic quote (I trust ). I wouldn’t do this differently if you don’t prefer to roll the dice. And, do not waste your time around the”Binding”price of services – that’s a marketing ploy that’s spun to make you feel much better about how tightly your real prices will match with the quote, there’s nothing’binding’ about it.
Dishonest, worst customer services. . .This is a fraud and a scam firm. They’ll need for more money to send your stuff… After you pick and make the transfer with peak van lines, they won’t ever respond to your email’s and or telephone call’s. The customer support representative are rough’s to take care of. The sales folks will be useful to speak but after to chose and proceed with peak van lines your issues start and you’ve got to bargain with dispatch, customer support representative’s along with the motorist. This is a scam and fraud firm, please remember worst business to go with for transferring your belongings and the customer support is horrible. They’re totally disorganized and no appropriate channel for communicating involving shipping, customer support, sale’s representative’s and also the motorist
My spouse and I used this business if we had a work move from Florida to North Carolina. We had them pack, and move everything.
The issues encountered are so poor, the rival most any inadequate experience I’ve had with a business in the 15 years I have been in operation.
To start with, nearly all of the expectations set by the salesman were fictitious. We discovered that all the terminology in the contracts were contrary to what the salesperson explained on virtually every point. It was made to make sure we had no recourse of action to make cash back after the actuality.
Example 1: We had been advised the simple insurance could pay $.60 on every product. Example, when a TV price $1000 fresh and they ruined it, we’d get $600 back. When our $2,500 mattress was totally ruined, after moving through the promise, we obtained just the weight of the mattress, which caused a $35 payoff!
Example 2: We had been advised that the quote was very high on the burden, but that the corporation would constantly weigh the truck and then discount us after the actuality. On the opposite, when we called to learn the weight gap later, they advised us that our contract stated we did not have that alternative.
This was only a few instances. Movers showed up drunk, were rude, and they’d hired local employees despite the fact that they advertise that all employees work for them. This was untrue.
Following an extremely horrible experience on virtually every level, the business refused to respond to our criticism. We talked to the identical girl repeatedly and she promised a call back, and after months or weeks, she’d behave like she did not understand who we were.
The customer support is horrible. They do not treat you as a person in trouble. It’s fairly frankly the most dreadful firm I’ve ever ever, ever worked with on each level.
Don’t do them the favor of conducting business together. You may stand a higher prospect of becoming both disappointed.
Can there be a minus 0 star rating for these low lives??? It is clear that the excellent reviews on this are all friends of the company. They’re CROOKS and do not keep their word. They attempt to a contract once they have verbally consented to other items and you’ve given them a deposit, and also cause you to sign a new contract with fresh provisions following your items are around the truck! LOSERS and crooks! My lawyer will be writing into the Better Business Bureau.
My things were delivered late and they stole a number of products. The driveway was just 4 to 4.5 hours that they showed up 6 hours late tried to amass more cash and then attempted to sell me some things they took shape somebody else go. The proprietor does not return calls. SCAM company dishonest employees stay away. They had been fussing amongst each other out my property. Drinking at Work. THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Nobody will return my calls that they just believed to submit a claim.
We had a contract to move from Memphis, TN to Silverdale, WA on 08/17/2013. They made us cover 50% that I discovered you shouldn’t pay anything before you things are obtained. I called twice during the week of 8/26 and has been advised by Roxanna to phone back another week to learn information. Well I called back two weeks straight and left voice mails and couldn’t receive any info. I then called the other number I discovered on the internet and talked to Charlie in shipment and he explained that he did not understand anything there weren’t any notes this was the 2nd week in September. My husband then called regular day multiple times every day and we eventually obtained that the things had not yet left Memphis. He then said that our shipping are the week of 9/18/2013. The driver eventually called us on September 15 and says that he will be there on the following day at 4 pm which we had a balance due of $2021 that was $750 over our equilibrium and he could not tell us why it was so muchbetter. We phoned everyone for 24 hours and nobody could help us afterward Yosel a representative gave us exactly the Client support supervisor amount Jenifer 954-712-4321. She had been the rudest customer support supervisor I’ve ever met. They did not possess the contract but may inform me that $350 fee for packaging when all was bunch. Eventually when I asked to talk to the supervisor of the supervisor someone wanted to assist me. They charge me 200 for mattress covers that I purchased myself and place on myself until they even came. They charge for two TV boxes whenever they had been included with the transfer. Then they charge $75 for tape that they had to tape their own blankets onto the furniture which was likely to be contained in the transfer. They charge $100 to wrap the couch as it was assumed to be contained. The motorist lied and stated there was not any coupon given as it was clearly written that it had been about the paperwork and that he did not need to redeem it. My husband who’s active responsibility must leave work early that was a major deal and myself left work early since the motorist said he’d be here on 9/16 involving 2-4pm. Well after we were already home waiting he predicted after the time scheduled and stated the truck broke down. The contract stated 28 days which has been the 28th day. The motorist said he must just be a little down while and could be there in the daytime. Again no display, that is two days of missed work. Then he scheduled for 2 pm on Wednesday September 18 we called and called and that he kept mentioning 20 minutes. He did not reveal until 11:30 pm at nighttime. We’ve got a noise ordinance that stops at 10 pm. We provide them the rest and then they inform my spouse that we must pay $75 each flight of stairs once I state within our contract no excess fee for stairs. Then he pulls out another organization’s newspaper for another shipping and states it is just such as this. That had nothing to do with us or our shipping He would not unload the vehicle. I attempted to call the organization but it was after hours and nobody would reply. I must go to the ATM at nearly 1 AM for $150 to cover for them to provide us our furniture and deliver it in my flat. The absolute worse experience of my entire life.
Regrettably I had a poor experience with peak van traces. Primarily, it will state in the contract that your possessions may take around 21 days to achieve its final destination, but nevertheless we had been assured it’d be no more than 7-10days. Our possessions were sent 20-21 days following set moving date. The motorist tried several times to boost the moving price at birth even after signing a contract in date of transfer out. A number of the furniture was not delivered. Additional furniture, packed with the movers, such as our dresser and television stand came completely ruined. The clothes and furniture which did survive the transfer presented with an horrible odor. In regards to reporting a claim, it turned into a busy process which required substantial quantity of time and energy. We eventually receives a payoff 3 weeks after that was ridiculous at best and didn’t cover even the things they didn’t deliver. By much worst moving experience up to now.
The first move estimate offered from Summit Van Lines because of our cross country move (NJ to AZ) has been $3,750, for example packaging. They had been scheduled to arrive on Friday, March 9, 2012. On Thursday, March 8, they phoned asking when they might arrive at the next two hours, that had been extremely inconvenient because I had been hoping to perform a lot of the packaging myself and also had to wash our home. Two movers came later that afternoon by using their truck. Everything was fine till they chose to call it a night about 10 p.m.. They left the home to go sleep in their own truck which was left on the road and I move to vacuum. Approximately 20 seconds later, among these movers called my mobile phone and asked me to come home because he had a favor to ask. He along with his colleague then asked if they could borrow my car to go get a meal. This was utterly unprofessional and that I felt as though they had been benefiting from me (how can I say no if they’d all of my possessions in their own truck & under their maintenance?!) . My car had been returned unharmed, however that I felt incredibly uncomfortable and needed to wait up 30 minutes till they returned. The following morning they stopped their packaging and I found they’d overlooked packing the cellar and garage. As soon as I pointed out these rooms to them, they went ahead and packaged them, but hurried through it carelessly. Liquids (such as automobile cleaning materials ) were packaged with valuables which can be stained. After they’d finished packaging , they explained to me that, dependent on the quantity of our possessions in their automobile, they’d probably charge me so much cash when they bothered to burden the truck, so that it would be in my very best interest to settle the accounts at $7,700 and then allow them to bypass the weighing (that was in their own very best interest, based on them, since it could save them a few hours needed to push into the weigh station and run that the weighing). We’d had other movers run at home moving quotes that comprised”not to exceed” cost limits, so that I understood the $7,700 was nicely over the maximum cap we had received (which was around $ 6,000). I am sure they were hoping to benefit from me again. I haggled together and we settled in $5,500, at the array of the different quotes we had received. I had been frustrated with the entire experience at this time and was just further shocked if both movers who’d made my car and then attempted to con me unabashedly asked when I was really going to trick them! Again, I believed I had no option except to comply, in spite of the fact I did not believe they’d any hint whatsoever since my experience was so awful.Things did not get better from the month which followed. To begin with, it required a complete month for our items to get there. Second, Summit never contacted us together with some other kind of upgrade and the 2 times that I called to find a delivery ETA, they had been totally unhelpful. I originally called Summit on March 19 because we had not heard anything. At the stage, the customer support representative could just tell us our items might arrive within the following 14 business days of the pickup date (March 9), they couldn’t tell me if our items were still in their own storage facility or were already in transit. I called again in the end of March, because Summit still hadn’t contacted us, and they might offer no more info than reiterating that our items will arrive in 14 business days of the pickup date. I predicted Summit once again, the week on March 30, because the 14 company day mark are the conclusion of the week. Again, no info along with the customer support representative simply said that he’d escalate the situation with his or her manager. I requested him to have his own supervisor call me straight, which, obviously, didn’t occur. Summit did eventually contact us on April 3 to inform us that the truck along with our items will arrive the following moment. I believed that was also inadequate customer support –they just given 1 day of note which a lot of us needed to be in the home in the center of the afternoon to get our items!
Never ever hire Summit Vanlines or (Aone Vanlines) for transferring, they just suck every drop of your own blood with alliance of Aone Vanlines. Agreed to cover weight $.55 pennies per pound with Summit, but ended up paying (double) high cost of $3.85 per cubic feet. As they don’t have office in NY, they subcontracted my transfer into Aone Vanlines. Aone does not care abt Summit and they’ll reveal rather large professionalism in every step along the method to suck every penny from u in terms of packaging, tape, bubble wrap, boxes, meeting, lifting, estimating, gas, transferring, storage and ultimately hints. The movers are going to continue to keep the things in storage and unite your items with a few others before it’s full of trailer and employ a business who will take oall things for more affordable cost. Self-evident is the very best option.
I MOVED FROM HIGHLAND BEACH, FL. TO TUCSON,AZ..
I HIRED SUMMIT MOVERS IN FT. LAUDERDALE,FL. FOR THE MOVE.
I PAYED EXTRA FOR VIP SERVICE WHICH ,MEANT THEIR BEST PACKERS AND EXTRA PACKING MATERIAL.
I PURCHASED ADDITIONAL INSURANCE FROM THEM SO THAT IF DAMAGE DID OCCUR I WOULD BE PAID FULL VALUE AND NOT BY THE POUND.
BECAUSE OF POOR PACKING SEVERAL VALUABLE NON REPLACEABLE ANTIQUES WERE DESTROYED.
FOUR CARTONS WERE LOST.
THE PACKERS WERE UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE.
Shipping WAS FOUR HOURS LATE AND CONTINUED TO MIDNIGHT AS TWO HELPERS LEFT, AS LEAVING ONE MAN TO UNLOAD THE TRUCK
THEY OFFERED TO PAY $102.00 FOR $15,000-$20,000 WORTH OF DAMAGES
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT USING SUMMIT MOVERS.
I was quite upset we transferred to Missouri in Orlando this past year. I discovered all my great china attracted and what I set delicate on broke in half. When seeking to get hold of them we have the run around. The movers complained of being thirsty and hot and of course nobody came into our home to get estiment on the move, we’ll use them. WORST EVER!
This provider is a disgrace and will be HORRIBLE! DO NOT USE!! They’re deceptive, and use deceptive paperwork/sales methods, & wait approaches on easy claims.
Before Moving Day:
I’d received quotations from several other van lines, also Summit was the most affordable. The sales partner, Sammy, was persuasive. We had been advised that we’d have our very own trailer and it’d be an immediate dispatch in FL to PA.. He asked me when I needed it delivered, and now that I said the very first week in August, since I’d be traveling up to PA simply to get my merchandise. I had been told several times that this season could do the job. We also bought additional coverage, as my merchandise and possessions have been in mint state and pricey.
Moving day:
In late July, the vehicle and employees showed up in time. These guys were terrific. They were cautious when packaging my possessions. Nothing has been damaged. They even took their time wrap my products, carrying both flights of stairs, and loading them attentively to the truck. I was impressed until we had been informed that we’re all over our”box allotment”. I’d packed my merchandise myself, and in pubs in all sizes and shapes. Irrespective of size, I had been restricted to the amount of pubs to be obtained. I.e. when I was just allowed 40 boxes complete, it did not matter whether these boxes had been shoe boxes. Just the count uttered. I phoned Sammy, because I looked to the truck and noticed that there wasn’t a half a truck which has been vacant yet, and my possessions would no wonder match. Sammy made it ironed out using all the employees at my house, and all was fine again. Before leaving my house with my products, I again confirmed my delivery date because being 8 times out of Moving Day. They affirmed.
8 days after:
I went to PA to get my products. I had not heard from the business so I phoned them that afternoon, and I had been advised that my possessions never abandoned the country of FL. I had been fed excuse after excuse before I cried that this was unacceptable and that I wanted my things ASAP! How unprofessional and impolite can a business is to somebody who traveled around PA simply to get their products, rather than tell them their things never abandoned the nation of source! Charlie, the agent I talked to, apologized, and stated my things are there in just two days.
Two days after:
My things eventually came. But, nearly EVERY PIECE OF BEDROOM FURNITURE WAS DAMAGED. How can this have occurred? I was subsequently told that my possessions were unloaded to a warehouse when they left my house in FL, and then repacked! That is NOT what we had been promised! I WAS PROMISED A SINGLE, DEDICATED, DIRECT TRUCK FL TO PA.. We have been lied to only to offer them our company! The employees were ashamed at the harm, and encouraged me to take photos and document claims. My new bedroom furniture was scraped on the sides, trashed in, and scraped. My guest bedroom furniture was even worse! A HOLE was hit in the back of my chest. The vest was dropped onto a corner, and the corner has been smashed in. There are scrapes, dents, and scuffs over finish tables, head and footboards, chairs, and press centre. They dropped TWO big, pricey mirrors of mine somewhere in the warehouse. Countless dollars’ worth of plates, glass, decorative items were all shattered. Lamp colors were trashed in and needed to be thrown off. Living room furniture has been scraped and scraped. The only real positive of this day were that the employees, since they were considerate, kind, and professional.
The claims procedure:
The claims procedure is supposed to dissuade people from submitting claims, since it requires THAT much energy, time, and study. You’re educated to utilize a third party asserts firm (movingclaims.net). THIS COMPANY IS A COMPLETE AND TOTAL FRAUD. The documentation you will need to submit a claim is so incredible. Everything has to be physically printed (in colour ) and sent in. It took us a few weeks to finish, as we’d discover more damage/items which never made it into the home because we unpacked and required stock. We filed our promise in October, that was an whole thick package of info. In December, we had been given another opportunity to add extra things, which we declined to do this even though we found more missing things, as it required a lot time to finish the first time around, and we all only needed to be carried out with that. This was March, and we still hadn’t discovered. We followed back up, soon afterwards, THEY OFFERED US $64 TOTAL! The promise we filed was because of approx. $2,500! We instantly responded saying that this is unacceptable! They arrived with another supply…$94! And said that this was THEIR FINAL OFFER! After hundreds of emails, on Movingclaims.net, that will be liable for no,we had been advised that we needed to return into Summit to repay the claim. Charlie out of Summit was apparently unaware of our promise and we had been requested THREE MORE TIMES to document ANOTHER CLAIM! We said we shall NOT do this, as it was MONTHS of delay strategies and fraud. Still now, we don’t have any resolution.
I had been advised that my movement will cost 1500 no matter weight when I do not add any extra products. But when they loaded what he explained that it will be losing weight, wich arrived into 2100. They billed me for littering my furniture plus they utilized boxes for furniture that I had been billed 400 for though I had been told that they will assemble furniture totally free of charge. They have included third party and when I attempted to phone them to address my problems they’d let me call the next party and fix it together. If you would like reassurance never conduct business together. This is definitely the most unethical company I every had to manage. Upon shipping they will initially collect the amount in money then they are going to allow you to inspect your belonging, even if there’s a harm then you need to call and call and call. With no outcome.
I supplied Summit the true weight out of my move to Austin from Orlando to get a return trip from Austin back to Orlando. The things in the quote did not change. The quote has been raised by 25 percent anyway. At pickup I had been given the option of actual weight or the quote provided. I picked that the acutal weight and was within 50 Pounds of my quote. Summit needs to deny the Most Recent arrangement and still charge to maximum cost. They’ve reneged on the arrangement and therefore are holding my furnture hostage for more cash. This is known as extortion. I’m drafting a complaint to the Attorney General of Texas and Florida. Not only can it be bad business practice to supply grossly inflated quotes, but It’s criminal to pay more money to get a transfer. I plan on using a sherriff accessible once the furniture is eventually delivered. More to follow.
Don’t Use SUMMIT VAN LINES. I hate to talk negatively about a business on a social website but Summit Van Lines has mishandled my dispatch, doctored files and attempted using my dad who’s a senior. In addition to that their driver was talking very seriously about Summit Van Lines. He had been whining about the way he attempted quitting numerous occasions but that the provider maintains offering him more money to remain. While unloading my possesions he awakened many of these and of other people’s heaps since he had been frustrated that they had been in the way of him becoming into my stuff.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I MEANT TO USE NATIONAL VAN LINES BUT STUMBLED ONTO THESE CROOKS BY MISTAKE.
These men don’t care about your possessions and furniture. They advertise that they’ll package, disassemble and reassemble for you. Their packaging is shotty with old blankets which are worn down and not useable. They did disassemble but they refused to reassemble since the driver said he didn’t disassemble so he can’t reassemble (which wasn’t my issue ). And of course just how many items of mine they dropped.
Be forewarned that you’re putting your stuff at peril should you utilize SUMMIT VAN LINES. I supplied them many chances to create it correct but they haven’t. The supervisors don’t help. Carmen Guzman, Guy, Adam Green, Charles… not one of them are useful but rather offer you a run around. Kenneth is the only one which was useful.
Not sure how they have such a fantastic rating but I’d venture to state that their score might also be doctored simply by omitting poor reviews. I’m sure thales same will occur for this one.
If you utilize these men I wish you luck.
Summit Van Lines is a Entire SCAM! DO NOT EVER USE THEM!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!! They transferred me in March, 2012. August 13, 2014 – I discovered that they FORGED MY SIGNATURE to a”Release Agreement” that stated”I’d agree to get rid of any negative reviews posted by me or in my own behalf…. And for the thought of an account charge of $100 in good faith” Seriously? It’s dated 3 times after they picked up my furniture and says”WHEREAS, disputes and differences have arisen between the parties…” THIS COMPANY IS among the MOST CROOKED AND DISGUSTING COMPANIES I HAVE EVER DONE BUSINESS WITH!! Regrettably, I used the company to move me in Alabama to Texas in March, 2012. The complete moving encounter together was a complete nightmare. They showed up a day late because of”truck problems” and then if they did appear, they had been in a leased Budget truck. They took more than 3 weeks to send my furniture and if they did send it, there was just 1 person to unload me – so naturally , he didn’t place any of my furniture back together according to my contract. The estimated cost was almost DOUBLE what I gave me and could just take money and threatened to depart with my belongings and take it to Florida for storage when I didn’t pay IN FULL prior to unloading. The boxes were smashed, torn and many items were also broken.
The business was with a WASTE Management personnel to maneuver my belonging to a different nation.
The mover didn’t have a business logo, maybe not t-shirts.
They ruined my possessions in boxes branded HANDLE WITH CARE. .
Irresponsible, costly and dreadful business.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY back again.
I haven’t had a migraine as poor as if I had been dealing with this provider. We had been going from Atlanta to Houston and chose to utilize this business according to a recommendation. (Thanks a lot) we advised a pickup on a Saturday but decided to wait for a few days longer. We rescheduled it to Tuesday in 12-2PM. On Tuesday afternoon, we all hear the door bell ring in 9AM. The bf wakes up and astonishingly, the movers are all here. The movers had an emphasis. Im guessing theyre Russian?? I really don’t understand. No matter, it did not really disturb us. Except the fact that we weren’t finished packing all of the little stuff. Therefore that the bf shipped them away for one hour.
An hour after, they arrived back and beginning packaging all of the major things (TV, furniture, etc) the packaging and loading obtained all day. We did not have a speech for those movers since we haven’t signed a lease however in Houston. No difficulty because the supervisor said they could place it into storage. We paid a deposit and then steered the movers 100.
A week following our relocation into Houston, we register a rental and shipped in the types via E-mail into Summit. They stated that it might take about two weeks to our furniture to enter and that they would call us a day till they arrive. Two weeks go by and NO telephone. We known as Summit and inquired where our material was. The girl on the telephone said she never received it. I advised her that I talked with somebody and they stated they did get it. The girl then says she’ll call me back when she figures out it in the afternoon. NO telephone! So I called her again the following day and she said she simply opened the E-mail (((face hands ))) Ok whatever simply deliver the material.
Fourteen days after the movers called me the day before THANKSGIVING and inquired when they could send our belongings on THANKSGIVING day. I really don’t understand about them but that is a significant holiday that many Americans celebrate! Additionally, our lodging in the condominium wouldn’t let heavy traffic on such day anyhow. We told them that they needed to wait till the day following Thanksgiving. They did not seem too happy but that cares.
Our stuff eventually came the day after Thanksgiving and I had been relieved and joyful since I couldn’t stand to sleep with the air mattress anymore and that I could not wait to hook up the TV. This time, there have been distinct movers compared to the earliest.
TV??? What TV??? We had two flat screen TV’s which weren’t delivered. Broken mirrors along with a busted china cupboard. Additionally, we counted and two boxes weren’t delivered. What’s flying F! I was so pissed but following all of the stress this firm has put me through. I had been over it! We didn’t tip the movers and sent them on their own way. Superior bye. . .forever! The only great news is that the movers unintentionally left his instrument box in our location.
I called the manager the following day and informed her regarding the TV’s. Apparently somebody”broke into” the storage and then stole some things. What a SHADY Firm! They believed they were planning to deliver anything and expect me not to detect that our TVs are overlooking?? The supervisor routed over insurance forms to complete and assert exactly what was lost. We kept two flat screen TVs, two split mirrors, a busted china cupboard, and two lost boxes. The auto insurance which Summit Van Lines has just pay .60/ / LB. We ended up receiving $320. Enough to pay a 32″ TV.
Don’t use them if you don’t would like to experience a great deal of anxiety. . .and shed a great deal of cash paying them and substituting your expensive products.
AVOID THIS COMPANY!! TAKE THESE REVIEWS SERIOUSLY.I will probably be quite short. This business shouldn’t be at the moving company. This is a very, very lousy support. Here are the quite substantial degree expertise I had with Summit Van Lines:1) The last amount which I paid was greater than doubled the sum I was quoted. I had been quoted $2400 and ended up spending $4800;two ) The shipping group was EXTREMELY rude and really, very unprofessional. 3) Several things are lost, particularly my rare perfumes.4) Several things were smashed/broken. As an instance my dining table high, 12 big pricey wine glasses were all smashed, wine high, etc.5. ) Many things are still not constructed. For Instance, my mirror and bed are still not constructed 3 months following shipping.6) I had been always threatened that my items could be placed in storage and It Will cost me $2500 to get re-delivery, in Spite of the Fact I Was allegedly provided 1 Month complimentary storage.I’m still considering legal action from the company because it was a completely improper service.PLEASE READ THE OTHER REVIEWS AND DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
I checked the reviews on this business before I contacted them and believed everything was going to be OK. I had been quoted a very low cost. Then I phoned and asked about how to organize the ceremony. That’s as soon as the individual on the telephone said that was only a ball park figure I would have to tell him exactly what it was that we had been moving. Then I told him exactly what I had and advised him about 40 to 45 boxes combined with a single bedroom plus a living area and kitchen. The cost went up 500 bucks. I, believing that these folks are professionals said alright and made an appointment for them to pick the furniture up. I asked them if they’d have to pick this up to get a guaranteed delivery on Saturday. They promised me because the transfer has been less than 500 miles that they would not require any time they’d pick this up on Friday and have it there Saturday morning. Wow was I naive. They showed up late with truck issues, they then stated that we had more boxes than I’d told them at which time I asked how much more and the response was that it had been based on weight. Now now I was beginning a new project on Monday no opportunity to search for somebody else. I inquired about the burden and had been given a CAT scale weight of this truck, I inquired about the gas and was advised it had been 1/4 complete and incredibly as it was weighed after picking up the furniture it was again only 1/4 full. The cost went up 1000 bucks. Again I must have the furniture delivered the next day. They never showed up giving me the explanation which the truck has been broken down. I don’t have any place to stay and just clothing for this Saturday. They call and say they’ll surely send by 8am Sunday afterward it had been 12:00 Sunday then I phoned them at 6:45 PM and they stated they had been about an hour away but could not tell me the title of their city they had been in. I informed them I could not take delivery that overdue because they wouldn’t be finished unloading until at least 11:00 or after that evening and I had a 6:00 breakfast along with my new supervisor on Monday. I already had to purchase clothes to go to work and yet another night at a hotel, which they never offered to cover. They showed up late the following morning and refused to unload the truck before I paid the extra 1000 bucks. These folks are extortionist, they refused to charge it and that I needed to take some time from a new task to place this on a credit card before they’d do anything and the apathy which has been exhibited each time that I called makes me feel as they must need to pay people to provide them the reviews that I saw online. If these individuals are professionals and can not offer a detailed estimate and can not get up to their inadequate performance then I know I won’t ever use another moving business again.
The drivers simply dumped and conducted saying they were behind in their own schedule. Quite a few pictures of bits of furniture together with motorists holding bits. I’d replacement cost insurance that did’t insure anything (? $400 price ripoff. Cash the provider just sticks in their own pocket). Quite a few boxes have been dropped to be told they’d not lose that lots of boxes (minimum of ten). My evaluation was $10,000 not including the reduction of my brothers ash that they showed no guilt. Stay away, do not take the risk since there are different movers.
The woman responsible for arraigning the movement, Sigal, was quite friendly and useful. Nevertheless, the true move was dreadful. The movers, especially Ortiz, was unprofessional, rude, did not care about my own house and really tried to sneak a box of alcohol bottles I’d. I travelled with Summit Van Lines since they had a great deal but in the long run I ended up dropping because my furniture obtained stained, chipped, cut up and broken. Avoid if you don’t wish to devote time submitting a promise to attempt to find some cash to replace your items. Here is what’s going to happen if you proceed together :- Movers will keep late up to your first site. – Movers will not wrap furniture up – They will arrive suspiciously late to a brand new location somehow acquiring another employee – They will leave all of your furniture from puddles of water, get their perspiration all on your things so that it stains, and then take it with no padding/blankets/covers so that which breaks and has scraped. – Ortiz will shout at you as you whine that your things are coming to your flat filthy, broken or equally. – Finally you’re going to get drained or Ortiz’s mindset and discount to your own furniture that you wind up helping move stuff to the apartment merely to get the transfer be finished. – Finally you will discover that the box of alcoholic beverage which has been loaded last somehow has not made it in to your flat. Just after checking for a very long time that the ship has not shown up, they will”find” the box that they attempted to STEAL from you at the rear of the truck with somebody else’s land. I am now submitting a claim with their 3rd party business which I truly doubt will correct the negligence exhibited by their own movers.
Worst movers ever!! $2000in ruined furniture and they did not even care! Pictures were shipped but did not appear to matter, could not make up this. Left our baby grand piano sitting in garage in (inclement weather) advised us to phone somebody else to go into home despite the fact that they had billed us for transferring the piano thus needed to pay another person to perform their job. (no settlement to this by business ).
It is a nightmare using Summit Van Line moving firm. They Raised cost $1400 once they load half of my things on the vehicle. Because they maintain our stuf, my choice is constrained. Their client Servies is dreadful. Whoever owns the business,Guy, is a scam. Please do your self a favor, prevent Summit Van Line business. They’ll make your relocation unhappy.
Sales folks were good they offered the business well and followed up to make the sale but not a lot of what they provided was authentic. The movers showed up first and announced the transfer would require twice as long since the quote at 80$/hr and that we had more which they had expected. All our possessions didn’t match so we needed to even rent a uhaul trailer which my husband remained back to package and hitch. I moved on to meet the movers in the new property. Then it took 5.5 hours to create a 3 ( they anticipated 4 hrs) hour drive into our new house where they advised me that we had to cover the rest of the invoice until they can unload our furniture plus they weren’t able to use the card they had on record for us which had been used for your deposit, along with my husband needed to be there to utilize his own card, so they couldn’t take it on the phone from him. The only fashion they’d accept payment would be by western union cable!
Orig cost was 1000 we compensated. 1368…
Never again!
Don’t employ this business to haul horse manure! The motorist was dreadful – called three times about financing down off a driveway of a major street on account of the length that’s approximately one hundred yards since he could hardly run a tractor trailer. The driver didn’t have some help so was attempting to move all of the things himself.
They needed money before unloading the truck and also the motive was fast obvious – ruined furniture – wet carpets and afterwards discovered numerous objects missing.
This people should not even be in the marketplace. They’re dishonest and they instead trust their workers rather than fulfilling the client requirements. Summit Van Lines is a sanctuary for Crooks. Needed to move real quickly and I believed that this folks were severe, si I chose to pick them one of a massive number of organizations that contacted me, In the beginning everything was correct, they shipped an estimator to test about the things and analyse the ecological variables like distances and stairs. In the conclusion, the estimator explained it’d take them 6 hours to move the things, which I believed it had been reasonable, so I phoned them next day to begin the moving. In 9 sharp they had been here, I enjoyed their punctuality. I greeted the man at my door and asked him to come in and begin doing their items, but then the man told me they had to fill any”paperwork”. Throughout the first hour, this dude was only filling out newspapers and wasn’t allowing the other two men work peacefully, so they wasted a massive quantity of time doing useless stuff then afterwards this exact same man started telling me that the quote wasn’t legitimate, because there were too many stairs to kind (WTF?) . O told him that the staircase never proceeded and it was a variable that the estimator watched the day before, so that I did not accept his argument. Afterwards he explained it had been raining, I needed to phone his boss, a man named David who promises to be among the proprietors of the ghost business. Their customer support was outrageous, ” he stopped thinking each and every word that the worker was telling him, he even told him facing me which I had 3 TV sets when I’d just one! I had been whining with their boss as well as the people opened the door of this room that I was into and stood facing me since he wanted to listen to my dialog, in my very own home! I had to kick him out of their home after an increasing number of problems, I stopped phoning the authorities to get this individuals removed from my home. Their boss chose to leave all of my things there and cancel every thing rather than getting another employee to find the task finished. The abandoned everything out, they broke a few of my things, in conclusion, this individuals shouldn’t be tackling other peoples products, they ought to be in jail. It’s not important to enter specifics about the number of insults this folks threw at me, they believed my wife did not speak English and they showed themselves by crying how”this was a match for them and they might take around ten hours doing this when they desired, because we messed with the Incorrect man” All these are crooks, if You’ve Got a little respect for yourself, avoid them at all Price and get a genuine moving agency. Names to consider: – Reggie, the insulting man who’s job it is to create your moving a nightmare and also spend the maximum number of hours doing something else but be sure to cover more. If you ask a lot of questions and disagree with anything he believes, he’ll tell you”go suck on my @#ing @ick”, it occurred to me now. – David, the operator. The customer is not right, he instead not serve you rather than assuming their worker’s improper behaviour.
1 ). We didn’t obtain a list for this movement at
source or at shipping. We’re hereby demanding a
copy of the stock, if one was created, or {a
|even a }statement that there wasn’t any stock created, if one
wasn’t made. Summit still hasn’t supplied this.
2. We asked verification of the burden of our
dispatch, and Summit refused to supply this. {We
are|We’re} hereby demanding the burden records for our
dispatch. Summit still hasn’t supplied this.
3. We didn’t get the booklet describing our
rights and duties in the source. We
know that Summit is needed to offer this
booklet from the Federal Government. We’re hereby
demanding a copy of the booklet. Summit still {has
not|hasn’t} supplied this.
4. Summit’s delivery data type, which we
finished and returned to Summit by facsimile and by email
on July 14, 2011 (we’ve receipts for both the
facsimile and the email deliveries of the form), {states
|says }that the driver should contact us”. . .at least 24
hours before the delivery to be able to notify you
[us] of his birth.” This wasn’t done. The {first
|very first }call we received from Summit concerning the {delivery
|shipping }period was from the motorist. The phone number {from
which|where} the motorist known as was 954-865-1978. The
caller ID came up as Gonzalo Servo. He predicted at
4:18 PM on Thursday, July 21, 2011 (hereinafter,”Thursday” will refer to Thursday, July 21, 2011),
in which time he advised us that he’d {deliver
|send }our possessions on Saturday or Sunday. He said {he
would|he’d} call us back to give us an specific day and time.
We told him that this was okay, that we {were
|had been }normally free on Saturday and Sunday, and that the
shipping would need to be made between 7:00 AM and
7:00 PM since the storage centre to which our
shipping was being made (hereinafter,”facility”
refers to the storage centre to which our delivery
has been manufactured ) was locked up and inaccessible
between 7:00 PM and 7:00 AM daily. The {second
|next }call we received from Summit was also from the
motorist. He predicted at 5:08 PM on”Thursday”. He
advised us that he’d send our possessions
between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM on Friday, July 22,
2011 (hereinafter,”Friday” will refer to Friday,
July 22, 2011). We advised him that he hadn’t given
us the essential 24-hour advance notice of {the
|their }delivery time and day, that we already had
responsibilities on”Friday” morning, so that we {could not
|couldn’t }accept the shipment then, and that {we would
|we’d }be accessible in the first afternoon before 4:00 PM
on”Friday”, when he wished to create my delivery at
that moment. The driver told me that he’d call us
back with an specific time and day for our shipping.
The next call we received from Summit was also from
the motorist. He predicted at 2:36 PM on”Friday”. He
advised us that he’d create our shipping at 6:00
PM on”Friday”. We advised him that he {had not
|hadn’t }given us the essential 24-hour advance notice of {the
|their }delivery time and day, that we already had a {dinner
|supper }devotion in Watsonville for that we needed to {leave
|depart }at 4:30 PM on”Friday”, which we couldn’t accept
the delivery then. He said he’d call us
back with all the time and day for our shipping. The
fourth telephone call we received from Summit was also from
the motorist. He predicted at 2:37 PM on”Friday”. He
advised us that he’d create our shipping at 7:00
AM on Saturday, July 23, 2011 (hereinafter,”Saturday” will reference Saturday, July 23, 2011).
We advised him that he still had not given us the
essential 24-hour advance notice of this afternoon and time
to get our shipping, which despite his failure to
provide us the required notice, we’d take the
shipping at 7:00 AM on”Saturday”. But we
asked the driver if he can produce the delivery {a
little|somewhat} later in the afternoon on”Saturday”. He
advised us that he couldn’t create the delivery
later in the afternoon since he had another
appointment. We agreed on a delivery day and time
of 7:00 AM on “Saturday”. The foregoing calls were
all on a speakerphone in our conclusion and there was a
witness to either side of every one of the {above
|above mentioned }discussions.
The following call we received from Summit was from
someone who identified himself as David. He refused
to give us his last name or his place with
Summit. His phone number was 954-448-2034. He
predicted at 2:56 PM on”Friday”. He advised us that
our shipping could be reached at 6:00 PM on”Friday”.
We advised him that we’d already made plans {with
|together with }the motorist to get a delivery on”Saturday” at 7:00 AM.
He advised us that he didn’t care. He proceeded to
say that we’d be charged and additional $1,000.00 to
place our possessions into storage when we {did not
|didn’t }accept the shipping at 6:00 PM on”Friday”. We
advised him that we hadn’t got the {required
|necessary }24-hour note of this day and timing of the {delivery,
|delivery, so }that we already had plans for”Friday” day, {that
|}we couldn’t take the shipping at 6:00 PM on”Friday”, and that the delivery would need to be
made in the time on which the motorist had already
consented with us, that was 7:00 AM on”Saturday”.
David told me that he didn’t care what the contract
stated, that the motorist would create my delivery at 6:00
PM on”Friday”, which we’d be {charged
|billed }$1,000.00 to place our possessions into storage when we
didn’t accept the shipping then. The {next
|following }call from Summit was also from David. He predicted at
3:08 PM on”Friday”. The dialog mirrored the
dialogue we’d already had with David at 2:56
PM on”Friday”. Notably, he again informed us that
he didn’t care what the arrangement stated or what
arrangements that the motorist had left with us to the
delivery. The foregoing calls were all on a
speakerphone in our conclusion and there was a witness to
either side of every one of the above mentioned discussions.
Afterward, at approximately 3:30 PM on”Friday”, we {found
|discovered }two messages in my mobile phone out of Summit. The
very first message was abandoned at 2:46 PM on”Friday”.
Following is an specific transcript of the message:”Yeah, hi. This message is for Jeff. That can be Vito
[we couldn’t hear the title obviously, so the title {may
|might }be wrong ] from Summit Van Lines, the moving
firm. Needing to confirm your shipping {today
|now }between seven and six, and I just talked to the
driver and seemingly you’ll be not able to {receive
|get }it. Therefore, we already rescheduled your shipping double,
and ah essentially when the motorist is going to be there between
seven and six and also you won’t have the ability to obtain the
shipment, the shipment will visit the storage and
the redelivery fee will probably cost you more than the {move
|transfer }itself. Please call me back as soon as you can at
954-712-1453. My expansion is 4520 [we {could not
|couldn’t }listen to the extension number nicely, so this my be
wrong ]. Thank you.”
The next message was abandoned at 2:56 PM on”Friday”. Following is an specific transcript of {that
|the }message:”Hi Jeff that is David from Summit Van
Lines. The driver spoke with you a couple of times
about the delivery. The motorist’s gonna be there
now. If you are do not gonna have the ability to get the
shipping nowadays, it’s gont be a ah he is gonna {have
|need }to place it into storage. Gonna be a fee for
storage and redelivery. You are looking at roughly a
thousand dollar added. Please give me a call
when possible. 954-914-2838. Thank you.”
The foregoing two messages have been listened to by three
witnesses that also read the preceding two transcripts.
These witnesses may confirm the validity of the
foregoing two transcripts.
After becoming extremely upset as a consequence of
needing to coping with those in Summit that”. . .do not care what the contract states…,” and {who
|that }are clearly professional extortionists and
blackmailers, we chose to alter our strategies for”Friday” day so we can accept the shipping of
our dispatch and receive Summit and its own group of
extortionists and blackmailers from our own lives. We
known as”David” in 954-448-2034 at 3:33 PM on”Friday”. We advised him that we’d take the
shipping on”Friday” between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
We also advised him that the motorist would need to
arrive no later than 7:00 PM since the”centre”
was locked up and inaccessible after 7:00 PM. We
also told me that the delivery directions {we had
|we’d }delivered to Summit said that the delivery couldn’t be
approved between 7:01 PM to 6:59 AM seven days {a
|per }week. This form was delivered to Summit by email and by
facsimile on July 14, 2011. David advised us again that
he didn’t care what the contract stated and that
there could be an excess cost of $1,000.00 when we
didn’t accept the shipping on”Friday” evening.
The foregoing telephone was on a speakerphone in our {end
|conclusion }and there was a witness to either side of the {above
|above mentioned }conversation.
We called the motorist on”Friday” in 3:38 PM to
notify him of our discussions with David. He {told
us|explained} there was nothing he can do, even though we had
agreed upon a delivery day and time of 7:00 AM on”Saturday”, since he needed to follow his boss’s
directions. We informed him again that the”centre” was locked up and inaccessible after 7:00
PM and that there wouldn’t be any access to this”centre” before 7:00 AM on the next morning
(“Saturday”). The foregoing telephone was on a
speakerphone in our conclusion and there was a witness to
either side of the above mentioned conversation.
We made extra calls into the motorist on”Friday”
at 5:03 PM, 5:51 PM, 5:53 PM, 5:57 PM, and 6:01 PM.
We got the motorist’s voicemail. We asked the driver
to phone us back to give us his location so we {could
|can }gauge the timing of his birth. We {finally
|}reached the motorist at 6:09 PM on”Friday”. We asked
the driver where he had been. He explained he had been about sixty
miles off and has been stuck in traffic. We advised him it
would not be possible for him to make it into the”centre” before 7:00 PM and that the”centre”
was locked up and inaccessible after 7:00 PM. He
explained his instructions were to make the delivery at
whatever moment he came in the”centre” on”Friday”. The foregoing telephone was on a speakerphone
in our conclusion and also there were three witnesses to {both
sides|either side} of the aforementioned conversation, as well regarding the
messages we left on the motorist’s voicemail.
At 7:00 PM on”Friday”, the motorist called us. He
advised us that he’d be in the”centre” sometime
shortly. We told him that the shipping site would {already
|}be locked up and inaccessible until 7:00 AM on”Saturday”. The foregoing telephone was on a
speakerphone in our conclusion and also there were three
witnesses to either side of the above mentioned conversation.
In 7:02 PM on”Friday”, we abandoned the”centre” {with
|together with }all our three witnesses after having verified that the”centre” was already locked up and inaccessible.
In 7:10 PM on”Friday”, the driver called to inform us
that he’d only arrived in the”centre”. We {told
|advised }him that it had been too late, that the”centre” was
already locked up and inaccessible until 7:00 AM on”Saturday”, that there was nothing at all we
can do about it, which we’d see him in the”centre” at 7:00 AM on”Saturday”. He {confirmed
|affirmed }that he would meet us in the”centre” at 7:00 AM
on”Saturday”, which there could be an {extra
|additional }cost of $500.00 since we couldn’t take the
shipping at 7:10 PM on”Friday”. We told him {we
would|we’d} refuse to cover the additional $500.00 charge. The
foregoing telephone was on a speakerphone in our conclusion and
also there were three witnesses to either side of the
above mentioned conversation.
We predicted David again at 3:38 PM on”Friday”. Our
dialog mirrored the dialogue we had when
we’d called him previously at 3:33 PM on”Friday”.
The foregoing telephone was on a speakerphone in our {end
|conclusion }and there was a witness to either side of the {above
|above mentioned }conversation.
We created the following extra calls for David on”Friday”: 5:04 PM, 5:49 PM, 5:53 PM, 5:59 PM, 6:07
PM, and 6:12 PM. The material of every {conversation
|dialogue }was exactly the same. We inquired where the motorist was
found, and we had been told he’d arrive at 7:00
PM. We said that the”centre” will be locked
up and inaccessible after 7:00 PM, and we had been {told
|advised }that we’d be billed $1,000.00 for storage and
redelivery when we didn’t accept the shipping on”Friday”. The foregoing calls have been on a
speakerphone in our conclusion and also there were three
witnesses to either side of every one of the {above
|above mentioned }discussions.
The following set of calls have been made to David on”Friday” at 8:53 PM, 9:05 PM, 9:07 PM, 9:08 PM, and
10:49 PM. The material of every dialogue was
exactly the same. We said that we anticipated our {delivery
|shipping }at 7:00 AM on”Saturday”, and we had been advised there
are an extra cost of $500.00 since we
couldn’t take the shipping at 7:10 PM on”Friday”. We said that we desired a {clear
|definite }confirmation that the motorist would satisfy us at 7:00
AM on”Saturday”. We further stated that we {would
not|wouldn’t} cover the $500.00 fee because we didn’t owe it
and that we’d call the authorities, if needed.
David refused to affirm that the driver would {make
|create }our shipping at 7:00 AM on”Saturday” unless we
agreed to cover the additional $500.00, which we {did not
|didn’t }owe. The foregoing calls have been on a speakerphone {at
|in }our conclusion and there was a witness to either side of
every one of the above mentioned discussions.
Unbeknownst to us until approximately 10:40 PM on”Friday”, we obtained a text message in an {unknown
|unidentified }person at Summit, that was shipped at 8:57 PM
on”Friday”. Following is an specific transcript of
this text message:”9544482034: Notebook will be at {7
am|7’m} u will have to pay him $625 and $500 over night
charge money or postal money order just Tks”. Following
is an specific transcript of our answer, which was {sent
|delivered }at 10:46 PM on”Friday”, to Summit’s text message {to
us|}:”Me: I advise you to read this until you dig a
deeper hole for yourself.” We attached to our {reply
|response }that a copy of our Summit delivery data document
where Summit said that the driver needed to {call
|telephone }us”. . .at least 24 hours Before the delivery {in
order|so as} to notify you [us] of his birth,” and {in
which|where} we given that the hours where the”centre” will be locked up and inaccessible
Worst moving expertise in 40 decades. I served 25 years in the army and made plenty of moves. The movement with Summit was way beyond poor. There were issues in communicating. Lucky I speak Russian so that I managed to converse to the driver. The team was overdue and had no energy whatsoever.
I’d packed all, but transferring the furniture and boxes into the truck shot forever. Regardless of the slowness I managed to create my plane. After the shipment finally arrived in the destination, two novel cases were ruined beyond repair, the seat had a three inch gash inside a decorative wine rack has many welds busted and the end has been scraped away. The finials for the item were likewise missing. A couple of the boxes were saturated with moisture from inside the van. It’s clear from the status of the furniture which nothing has been tied down during the previous section of the deliveries. Do not deal with these folks. The office team can be reprehensible.
As soon as I attempted to invoke a part of the contract which could have saved me money, the disagreed stated that wasn’t how the contract ought to be interpreted. After additional discussion I had been advised to have the money ready on shipping. Cash only. The’interpretation’ of this contract was predominant to extortion. Yes, I stated extortion. For prospective customer, be aware they’ll maintain your belonging hostage until they get what they need. You have been warned. Beware!
Late and three times that which they anticipated. I didn’t contact with this organization but they showed up with my own things. I had been threatened two by”Eli” that revealed three hours late. He wanted more cash than that I owed and wouldn’t allow me to see my items. He introduced documents where he included cash to the equilibrium convinced and also my signature on the document was a forgery. They left together with my items when I would not cover the extra cash.
I had high hopes for great support from Summit after talking with Kristina, however at the end was defeated. Allow me to begin with the advantages – that the real moving process was effective and the drivers did a fantastic job in lace furniture etc.. Negatives:
1. Stolen products – a box containing jewelry has been chopped open using the exacto knife, things were shot, and then the box has been retaped.
2. Inadequate customer support – Kristina can inform you that it is only going to require 10-14 days to your delivery, however when you consent to employ Summit, the shipping period develops into a month.
3. Ensure that you take stock your self as your material has been delivered! The motorist (Slavo within our case) attempt to get you sign a form which you just took stock without really allowing you to perform it. Do not fall for it! You may find that among the workers uttered something after the truth that we did.
DO NOT EVER CONSIDER THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR MOVE! They picked up my furniture like a baby grande piano on two distinct days. They set my precious piano and furniture in storage for nearly 3 weeks without even telling me when or where my items were. They didn’t send 6 boxes- only GONE! My pricey wool rugs have been left sitting in water, my boxes water-stained, 6 boxes lost entirely. They lost my brand new Yamaha Baby Grande piano! They ripped off my off in every manner possible and fretting about where my items were and when they’d be sent! An Australian prohibited and yet another young boy sent my items late at night in the pitch black night. They sent them at a Enterprise Rental Truck with NO equipment to eliminate things from the vehicle. They needed to ask if they can borrow my money. Both guys had detain warrrants out to them. I needed to phone the authorities as the Iranian had been violent and just wanted the money before he’d allow me to see my items. This movement was the greatest nightmare ever!! They ruined paintings, photos with glass broken, boxes water and smashed logged. Scratched furniture, broken products in each box… they gave me $144.00 in damages plus that I laughed. I’m preparing a civil lawsuit against them. Do not fall for their lies- they’re a sham of a firm run by crooks. All they need is the money and they DO NOT CARE AT ALL what occurs to your items!! They switched everything around to USA Van Lines without ever telling me this. I phoned for days hoping to locate my items and here they had been in storage someplace in water for 3 weeks!!
I will begin in the start to provide you a very clear image of our movement. After the movers showed up in Tampa, FL, I had been always questioned as to all of my things. Sammy, our relocation planner, had promised me that when my stock didn’t change, our cost would remain the same. The mover was beginning to become irritated because he explained all of my things were thick and when I didn’t cover more he would need to pay the gap. I called Sammy relating to this and Sammy talked to the Agency. Sammy and the Agency were actually yelling at each other on the telephone. Sammy then told me to no longer speak to the movers since they don’t understand what they’re doing. Among those movers subsequently called his boss and place me on the telephone with him. His boss said to me that my quotation would be an additional 10%. I then explained to him that wasn’t what Sammy stated and that he had to talk to Sammy. Then he placed me on hold for 10 minutes, came back and said fine the cost wouldn’t change. I don’t understand how all these individuals working for the exact same business can come up with a lot of unique regulations and rules where it should all be regular. When they were all done, the inspector needed me to signal the non-binding quote form and that I denied and could just signal the binding form. I feel like I had not done all of my assignments; I’d have been cared for, but since I understood better, Summit had been made to follow exactly what they had originally told me. I thought all of this was awful which was nothing compared to what we went through when our things arrived to Denver. On Friday June 7th, the motorist called us to tell us he’d be at our condominium Saturday the 8th involving 5-8 pm. At 8:30 pm on Saturday, the motorist called again and said he’d be about another 45 minutes. Then he asked me if I’d payment because of him. I informed him I did, that I moved to Wells Fargo and obtained a cashiers check. After I told him this, he began crying. He began yelling that he will only accept cash or a money order in the post office. I explained to him that a cashiers check was an acceptable form of payment because it wasn’t a personal check and cost me $10 in Wells Fargo. He didn’t agree with me and essentially just shouted at me on the telephone for approximately 20 minutes. As you know in your paperwork it says”Delivery in the shipping location we don’t accept Credit Card or private inheritance payment could be made just in the kind of cash, money order or cashiers check.” After he stopped yelling at me, I phoned Summit Van Lines and left a message with the answering service. A dispatcher called back and explained that the cashiers check would be OK. He apologized for his driver yelling at me, saying that he’s typically a really great man and only had a terrible day, but he’d be better until he came that day in our condominium. Well, sadly, that wasn’t the situation. When the driver arrived, he immediately asked for the payment (not even a hello or handshake first) after I given him the cashiers test that he took a photo of it and delivered it to somebody. We stood there till this individual wrote back and said it had been okay. Then the really bad area began. At approximately 9:30 pm that they began to unload the truck from the dark. As I stood there and watched them unload the truck I was horrified. They were essentially putting boxes on either side , upside down, etc.. I’d 2 tv boxes that I bought which have been clearly marked with a knob saying THIS SIDE UP FRAGILE. They should have obtained this as a joke, since they put the box on its side first and then chose to move down it. Additionally, I noticed a sofa being unloaded along with my possessions. I chose to say something to the driver since I didn’t have a sofa and wished to spare them the time of bringing the sofa up to my device. As soon as I explained to them I didn’t have a sofa, he contended with me for a couple of minutes insisting it had been mine. I attempted to explain to him I didn’t have a sofa in any way. Finally, they proceeded to put the sofa back into the truck and also exactly what they did stunned me. They actually were throwing the sofa back in the truck. Gently throwing it on its side back in the truck. I feel awful for who is sofa that has been. At this moment, I found something that’s still shocking to the day which sadly I don’t believe I’ll have the ability to forget. The motorists shorts were ripped in the base all the way to the very best. He was wearing panties, but they were ill fitting and that I had been made to view his [EDIT] for the rest 2 hours that they had been at my property. Yes-that is right my inspector had his [EDIT] out throughout my whole move. When the truck was unloaded (along with the things which weren’t mine had been thrown back to the vehicle ) the movers were prepared to bring all of my things into my condominium. I live on the 3rd floor, however we do have cargo elevators which were cushioned to be used by the movers. That can be when the driver chose to stand at the elevator while another inspector threw him my poles to load the lift. They were about 20 feet apart from each other and I saw horrified as most of my things were being thrown about and put in their sides, upside down, etc.,. Literally, everything I owned was being thrown. I made a decision not to talk as I had been a female home independently, 10 pm at night, together with odd guys screaming at me, one that had his [EDIT] out. As soon as they got off the elevator, I showed them where my front door was and also the motorist dropped it. He began screaming that I had to pay him $500 to allow him to maneuver my things into my condominium as it was a very long walk. He was crying that they’d need to walk a mile with my things and that I had to cover that. Well, I ended up counting and from the truck into the elevator it was 32 ft, in the elevator into my front door was 103 feet-hardly the shuttle that he was crying about. What condominium construction is greater than a mile long anyhow? Sounds a little mad. As you know in your paperwork it says”No cost for additional pickup, stairs, elevator or excessive carrying.” Although I don’t consider 135 feet excess carrying. I explained to the driver that which was on my own paperwork and that we wouldn’t pay any additional. Then he decided to just do it I figure but at the most aggressive manner possible. On his second elevator journey, once the door opened he had been standing on a few of my boxes and immediately jumped off once he noticed I had been watching. They’d essentially bring things into my condo and just dump it. Whether it had been on its side, upside down, etc.. They put everything in the center of a single area and essentially threw down it while they proceeded to go get another load that they were simply going to throw down. Nothing was attracted to there given rooms. Heck, I’d have settled for things at least being right side up. Boxes were smashed and ripped open. At one stage, the driver began yelling in my one box that I had was quite hefty and asked me what was inside. At the surface of the box has been composed”Sweaters” therefore that I explained to him it was clothing. He awakened to tell me that it wasn’t sweaters, it was too thick and it should have metal at the box. Not certain why this mattered to him, but for some reason it did. Approximately 3 hours after they’d ended throwing and damaging all of my things in my condominium. The driver then said to me”Did you enjoy the job we did, offer us a suggestion.” Then I calmly explained to him that I wouldn’t be leaning him as he threw all my products about and spent the whole time yelling at me about payment, walking a mile, hefty boxes, etc. all while his [EDIT] was in my own head. Then he grabbed his dolly, cried something in a different language and abandoned. On Monday, June 10th, I phoned Summit Van Lines first thing so that I could rely on what had occurred during our movement. Roxanna in client support, appeared to care and explained she’d talk to her supervisors about what to do. The following day she phoned back to inform me she was still working with it. About two weeks after I called her back and she informed me that they had been waiting to talk to the motorists. Then I asked to talk to her boss (Roxanna stated”I was waiting for one to state that”) whenever the supervisor got on the telephone, she couldn’t have cared less. She explained that they had to talk to the motorist and could take about two weeks for them to return to me. She had no feeling of urgency in her voice nor did she trouble any type of apology for what had occurred. I chose to write this letter as I don’t think that anyone was planning on following up with me with this issue. I got the impression that they were simply pushing off me till I gave up or forgot. Well that isn’t likely to take place. I had been plagued and also sexually harassed on account of this motorist exposing his [EDIT] to me during the move. And of course the fact that I reside in dread since these movers know where I live and it makes me feel quite uneasy. I believe that Summit Van Lines isn’t taking this quite seriously.
Summit Van Lines transferred us in Florida to Tennessee in a price of $11,000. Just after the motorist left did we detect that the damaged land and overlooking box. On the tune of approx $10,000 to fix or replace. TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS.
Short narrative regarding our promise: because we didn’t recognize these harms on the afternoon of shipping, we had been out of luck. And this after getting paid extra $1,000 for replacement insurancecoverage.
Summit was dismissive, unprofessional, and completely impressed of my ZERO STARS evaluation.
Summit Van lines managed our transfer from Florida to Georgia. The first package and pickup wasn’t any issue. But since our shipping date of June 29th; we’ve encountered nothing but frustration to the point which I now must talk.
When we transferred; we picked the greater valuation of $10,000.00 versus a typical evaluation of .60 each pound. Meaning if there had been damages or losses (many) that the market standard would have compensated us roughly $72.00 vs. making a deal based upon total replacement value that was estimated by the transferring business in $6556.70
The moving business approved a promise to be opened with their own”claims division” MOVINGCLAIMS.NET After sending asserts bundles on them on three distinct events starting in July 2018; they approached us with an”settlement offer” of 72.00 according to their findings that the bill of lading and arrange for support”clearly said that a normal evaluation of .60 per pound” and that I was able to submit a 1 time dispute based upon new data. As soon as I informed Charlie (one of the owners) about the mistake that has been made he also said I need to file a dispute. This was performed on December 5th; A month later I still have nothing to show for my efforts.
Summit Van Lines functioning in collusion with MovingClaims.net has done what that they can to dissuade me from submitting a criticism. I don’t have any choice at this stage to publish this review.
Booked 1 1/2 months beforehand. Summit personnel tried to pick up 3 times early with less than 24 hour notice. Subsequently the were 3 times after, then first scheuduled moment. Didn’t have sufficient boxes. Boxes weren’t pronounced with contents. Shipping was 35 days later pickup. Personnel continued to say it may be sent this week finish etc. furniture ruined. We contacted legally agent and counseled to not do anything because the business might maintain are furniture and bill us for storage. Movers additionally asked for hints on both pickup and delivery. Worst moving experience ever.
Expected movers ancient a.m., they showed up late day. We received a call in the office stating there had been a truck breakdown. Packers only happened to say that they had been called in about a day off, therefore we do not know the actual situation. But they packed us up and packed the truck departing after 10:00pm. The packers were 3 nice clean young guys who seemed to understand exactly what they’re doing. Our furniture was supposed to enter storage at Fort Lauderdale for 3 weeks. The day following the transfer I got a telephone message which there was hurt, I called back and the girl said oh No that telephone was a mistake. Everything was nice. Hmm? Furniture was sent to scheduleand they showed up early and bright. Excellent start. I looked about for the men and women who’d unload the vehicle. The motorist said he along with the older guy with him they’d do everything. It was immediately evident that the older guy knew little to nothing about going furniture! To be honest, not imply, the two men were overweight and having difficulty breathing and moving. 1 guy told us that he was 70. I know about age discrimination but those guys weren’t fit to perform the work!! They attracted the furniture to the garage and anticipated to leave it out there. Maybe not what we compensated for!!!! In addition they anticipated my husband to help transport it. He began to assist however that I refused to let him proceed. We chose the paid mover path since we knew we were no more able to perform it. When he continued to assist he would be affected for months. When our items had been unloaded the truck was supposed to continue to additional deliveries. Nevertheless our huge screen Sony TV wasn’t there. The driver said that it had been customary to allow him to be current for its loading. Nevertheless he’d been called into push so the truck was loaded by other people sooner. These older men needed to climb around in seeking the TV. Never found it and said they needed to move. We ought to telephone Ft. Lauderale on Monday. What? 1 guy left with one of my great forks I had lent him. We burnt and fed them lunch and breakfast!!! I predicted Summit on monday to examine the lost TV. Oh, the guys were confused it was not missing it had been busted while in storage! From the following day that the story was that the storage space was divided into and it had been stolen. Hence the moving firm allegedly reported for their own insurer to be reimbursed but that I needed to submit a claim with all the additional insurance they offered me! Plus it had been $1,000 deductible. The TV was $1,000!!! Quite sneaky There was hurt to seats, overlooking boxes, but many bothersome were the lies in the TV etc.. They kept telling to not worry I’d insurance and also to only phone this number to begin the procedure. Therefore I really did and that firm stated they no longer supplied ins. Into Summit. Yikes. Called Summit back and they nonchalantly gave me a different number to phone. That is when I learned about the allowable. We’d bought the’full value’ replacement insurance in 10 pm by the packers since they guided us to do this when we finished paperwork just before they left. The Summit team might be quite chatty and friendly nevertheless if there was an issue they had been hostile. The lies rolled off their tongues. I Wouldn’t recommend them.
SUMMIT VAN LINES IS THE WORST MOVING COMPANY! HORRIBLE! DO NOT USE!!
On august 9, 2018 we picked this business to move from Miami into Virginia. What a error!!
They came after date guaranteed. Many Lots of things came broken like our Samsung brand new TV, desk, plates, scrached classic dining table, pricey Hookah, record is sooooo extended…. Even the boxes which we’d packed with clothing they were able to loose them and after 14 days we obtained them at a ripped boxes. Everything we had been told was a lie. They’d promised to manage our things with caution, BIG LIE! THEY distroyed so a lot of our stuffs. Irreplacable items, like an exact costly art!
And job has been EXPENSIVE!!
Our movement was from Florida into PA.. We maintained our items at Summit Van Lines storage for nearly a year paying 345 per month to maintain our possessions protected.
So when we obtained our items we were outside excited and had hope in the organization. Particularly since Mr. Sammy Perets, the Relocation Specialist, which initially saw us was exceptionally friendly and professional. We sure that what will be outside our pride. And that has been far from the reality. We obtained a lot of the high value things either ruined, completely shattered, with mould around it or infested with rat urine. 2 hutches with broken service dentures, 42′ television that has broken side menu buttons divided, 50′ television that has been bent in half, a deep freezer with chipped and dents around, a double stroller with all mould spores around it, even a playpen with mould along with a box which had closed food filled with rat urine along with the rats fully consumed through it. We had been advised from the driver if there is anything wrong simply to allow Summit Van Lines understand. Just as a matter of fact that the helper that has been using all the driver showed us that the tv which has been bent. He also showed my husband since he did not wish to see me angry. We’re your average American hardworking household. A 50′ television is something we labored hard for. It was evident that it was totally mishandled.
From the promise I was just allowed two photos each item. The claim procedure is long for almost any reason. My spouse and I had been completely insulted in the payoff of 70 when that sum will not even replace a few of these products. We then contested that number. Our movement was first in March 2018. It is now December and we’ve yet to listen to anything.
Thousands were awarded into Summit Van Lines plus they fully robbed us of their cash, trust and we all believe broken. The least they could do is compensate us so we could replace those things. Even when I contacted them I didn’t even get an apology letter. Very likely we’ll require a moving business again in the not too distant future and clearly won’t utilize Summit Van Lines and will stop some of our family or friends from employing them. It is a complete nightmare.
Consumers and Carriers Beware, Summit Van Lines is a Scam run by Ofer Gazit and Guy Shoshan, so don’t allow the title Summit Van Lines deceive you, they’re not any different than the neighborhood rogue company. Summit Van Lines along with their partners are just a lot of flying burglars. I’ve criticism about the BBB about their clinics and they reacted with nothing but lies! Not only did they defraud my business by $1020 however they also have billed for cubic feet which was not right, and ruined all of our clients furniture in the right time of delivery. They also refuse to cover damages to the client and reunite all national contract back for my own business, I also have learned from several other moving companies they’ve been a casualty of the so call Charge refund and absence of first contract being ship back to the originating provider. Workers working on Summit Van Lines also have come forward concerning their cover being cheated rather than being advised ahead that they made an error at certain event some of the labour employees came forward and explained that when Guy Shoshan was faced with their cover mistake that they left an excused that they ruined something or that they did not work the hours etc., the list continues. A firm like Summit Van Lines must be under investigation from Immigration, Labor department along with other federal departments concerning their enterprise training. I’ve already launch several complaints to national and local governments regarding their company practice together with affidavit sworn reviews of previous employees who’ve experienced problems together with earlier carriers that they have defrauded. STAY AWAY FROM SUMMIT VAN LINES. DO NOT BE THEIR NEXT VICTIM.
Movers maintained delivery date That Was not met. Highly unprofessional movers, no maintenance given to wrap and providing furniture for local portion of transfer. Cabinet was damaged on delivery, caused unwrapped and upside down, doorways not procured. Furniture delivered in NY at late hour, movers drained. Don’t reassemble DR table upon legs and delivery of games were ruined or broken off.
I checked a pick up date because of my transfer from Memphis to Charleston. 24 hours before my scheduled transfer date, I had been told that they couldn’t come. I had been told that they could possibly have the ability to come 24 hours after the agreed date. While this interferes with my movement significantly, I know things happen. The afternoon of the next scheduled transfer date, they had been an hour late. I had been told that they could come in, take a look at my possessions, and give me an specific cost. Everything was packed and out in the open. He looked around, gave me a price tag, and a contract has been signed. In addition, he took half of my payment through credit card. I had been previously advised the typical move time was 2-4 hours. Nearly 8 hours after, the movers ceased. They explained that they had more cash. They underestimed the quantity of things I had and how much space it might take in the vehicle. I advised him we’ve got a signed contract stating the cost and he couldn’t make me pay more. He also called his manager, who confirmed they had more cash. Then he requested to talk to me about the movers mobile phone. He had been rude and pushy. He said he’d have his guys unload my things and abandon them at the road if I didn’t give him more cash. Now I had been in tears. My apartment lease was up, I had no where to go, and I couldn’t move all of my things alone. I called the authorities, to inquire if they can do anything. 3 officers showed up, along with the movers consented to keep on moving my items. But he explained it was just because he had been so tired. His boss still desired him to unload my items. In addition, he told me he’d no more room in his truck and that he couldn’t take the rest of my items. I was subsequently made to load my car alone. When it had been packed full, I needed to throw out the rest of my possessions because I had no more space. This comprised a classic record player. The following day, I was pushing back into SC once I was called from the Agency. He said he needed to send Sunday. I said in my contract that the only day they weren’t able to send was Sunday, because of constraints of my new townhome community. He explained it’d be a”very major problem” when I wasn’t accessible on Sunday. My parents lost everything and begged the complicated to provide them the keys so I could move in Sunday. My father drove across town and also the townhome community remained late to give my father the secrets. 1 hour before scheduled delivery, the driver calls and claims he’s in Alabama and won’t be delivering now. He told him he needed to have known this yesterday. He was either driving to Sc, or he was not. Then he yelled and hung up the phone on me. A couple of days after, my items were delivered. There were lots in each bit of wood furniture that I have, along with the delicate boxes were thrown around and piled without care. This was the very stressful moving experience I could have imagined. Please don’t use this organization. I genuinely think it’s a scam.
