    Unsatisified with these movers

Worst experience of my entire life. The movers were both impolite and unprofessional. 1 man has the guts to ask me when I had been a horder. Im older I’ve a good deal of things, and your getting paid to transfer it. The broken my 50 year-old dresser n torso scraped my china cupboard, tore the knob off into the entertainment device, as well as the latch into the doorways. Set the legs into my sofa on the amusement centre. Do not even set the correct thighs on the entertainment centre, I needed to have a buddies of mine help me do it correctly. No telling what else I’ll find because I haven’t completely transferred. The men that lent me said they could maneuver my freezer and when the movers showed up they said they could not transfer food. What the hell is at a kitchen. 1 man once the movement was finished, told me brand new rule for your new home (dust). They then debited my credit card without going on the last charges, such as I have an infinite bank accounts. For over that I even signed for or was quoted. I wouldn’t suggest this moving business for any transfer. There really was just 1 man who had been able to show a respect and that he had been the person who got the suggestion. Oh and btw they really didn’t work that hard before he showed up and if he did among the others abandoned. They have to do the job quoted. Not only did it cost me more than 1,000 bucks but I still have to employ somebody else to proceed the remainder of my stuff. This kind of disappointment. And I actually wouldn’t provide them a 1 star but its the only way I could post this.

    Stewart moving and storage

My expertise with Stewart Moving and Storage began off really well. The revenue rep. was really nice and assured me that his firm was about to take care of my movement with extreme caution.

Everything went downhill after that. . .first they showed up at 7:00 to fill out the very first day, I had been told they’d be there at 8:30-10:00.

On the last loading date, the driver transferred my stainless steel refrigerator with no pad and scraped the hardwood flooring. When I confronted him about it he cried and said that he took the refrigerator from the other direction of the scrapes and that they had been there earlier. I presumed he piled his paperwork to reveal the hurt, as he’d taken photos too. He did not and then lied to assert manager to state the scrapes were pre-existing. I’ve got two people composing statements stating they weren’t there ahead. The claims supervisor refused the claim and wouldn’t reconsider because the motorist didn’t amend his paperwork and continued to lie.

After that, a third party wasn’t hired to package and unpack my mommy’s clock. The motorist did this obligation, today my clock is not functioning, and again the claim has been refused stating that I can not prove that the clock has been functioning in the very first location.

Another problem is that the driver taking off the handles of my refrigerator and then losing the screws. I’ve been with no handles on my refrigerator for 5 months. Whilst in the practice of eliminating the grips that the front of the refrigerator today comes with a 6″ dent and scratch.

Many things were cross packaged, and mismarked which makes it quite tricky to find anything.

Oh, another thing. I proceeded to transfer a box marked dishes, so it had been piled on top of some other box. I picked it up and almost dropped it in my foot. As soon as I opened the box I discovered 2 layers of canned great in the base of the box using lots of heavy dishes at the top.

Locate another firm to proceed you.

WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE EVER - BUYER BEWARE!

WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE we have ever experienced in most of our years of proceeding, and we continued significant harm to our precious possessions as a consequence of neglect and incompetence. Beginning with the very late team, things went down quickly. Efforts to speak with the office by telephone were a complete neglect, as we struck a single issue after another. The team wasn’t advised by office personnel that we had a classic baby grand piano which required special treatment, which created a crisis situation. A neighborhood piano business was named in, and they did not have the perfect equipment either. Even though the piano was afterwards packed properly from the Stewart warehouse, even throughout the transition that the piano has been dropped, seriously mishandled, traveled to a truck with hardly any defense, and then damaged almost beyond repair. The audio board was broken in two regions, the casing has been gouged and cracked, and the legs have been inadequately packed, and continued harm. After they loaded the delivery container for international cargo, they didn’t scrutinize the container by shutting the door and searching for light coming through – our container had a gap inside, and our cargo has been ruined by water ingress, mould, and mildew.
Our products were already carefully packaged and tagged by us, and also the team repacked items to combine. In doing this they didn’t tag or re-label the boxes, also made no attempt to keep crucial bits together like TV remotes, power wires, nuts/bolts/screws to furniture which we’d taped to the rear of the thing to store them together. We’re still looking through the clutter of boxes attempting to discover essential components and bits.
Clothing was taken from the hardy clothing boxes with hanging bars, and jammed in to shattered small apartment cardboard boxes which fell apart and have been saturated by water. We disposed of a mountain of night dresses, suits, leather coats, dress shirts, shoes, and bags which were ruined by mildew and mould. Linens, a leather seat, papers, electronic equipment, photos, rugs, all destroyed by mold and water. Had a level of attention been required to prepare our products for traveling across the planet, it would not matter whether a leak happened or not, our products are secure.
Among the team members was brand new, and he did not even have fundamental skills in packaging or handling products. No signs of any experience or training at all. When the boxes were tagged in any way, it was a concerted attempt to compose words in English which nobody could understand. A lot of what we obtained had no stock decal or labelling whatsoever.
The Irish team that unpacked our unlucky cargo felt so awful to us who the team manager issued a formal analysis documenting that the substandard packaging, and also the bad condition where our products were obtained. This was shared with all Stewart Transferring along with the principal business we contracted with, Shumacher Logistics. Nobody contacted us to apologize for the fiasco that led, even when I sent photos to demonstrate the acute damage.
We sold our house and the majority of our possessions to proceed to Europe, and retained only the most precious and important things to bring along with us. We trusted that our products would be dealt with in a professional manner for the $10,000 we compensated, and also what we have instead was a recreational job along with a great deal of run-around and explanations. We’d have fared much better to place all in a rowboat and row it over the sea ourselves, given that the size of harm that happened at the control of those”professionals.”
To add insult to injury, fundamental communications works in Stewart were non-working, such as telephones, email address, along with the tablet along with our stock. They never really did get it to work, also that I needed to take an image of each display along with my phone because my official list of the dispatch.
Now I posted negative testimonials and photographs in their FB page and the rest of the negative reviews and horror tales: they DELETED EVERY CUSTOMER’S NEGATIVE COMMENTS and blocked me from their own page. Rather than handling the negative encounters just like an expert firm, they’re hiding behind just happy remarks like cowards. What type of organization manages complaints in this fashion? They’re a disgrace.

    They Rob The Disabled!!

Hired Stewart Moving & Storage (SMS), Jacksonville, FL to transfer me in Florida to Virginia at October 2016. I worried to the salesman,” Gregg Merritt, that since I am handicapped and live independently, even though it was pricey, I’d no option but to incorporate the”packaging” and”unpacking” choices. I live in pain and spend most days in bed, therefore needing to be up and around for extended periods are a stresser. Merritt explained that my movement ought to be approximately 4-5 hours. When my things came in VA, ONLY THE TRUCK DRIVER ARRIVED to send my 4200 pounds of things. Part of the relocation process that the leader of this transfer team in Florida failed in his paperwork was keeping note of their box numbers and it’s contents. Since the SMS motorist was lonely, I needed to perform the box verification log. It required the truck driver–the only person they shipped –9 hours and that I needed to remain out of bed, in pain, and owing to the paperwork I needed to procedure, I couldn’t take my pain medicine. Additionally, nobody showed up to unpack, therefore my things remained in boxes. When I did open them, I discovered broken lamps in boxes with sneakers, my clothing crushed under sneakers and art. In tall garment boxes, none of my clothes had been wrapped up!! They were removed hangers and thrown to the boxes, all wrinkled and smashed, such as leather and sequined clothes and purses. I phoned Merritt who stated he’d possess the workplace send me a paycheck for pack/unpack. I never received it. December 2016 manager S. Cordero wrote in an email that he was accountable for all of the issues in transfer, I must submit paperwork and my claims would be processed”expeditiously.” Now SMS asserts that I was never billed for pack/unpack, that I owe them money, they never promised more than 1 employees in VA. (How do they admit that?) I contend why did I Cordero not say in his Dec. email, two full months after my transfer and much more than enough time to examine my contract, I did not cover”pack/unpack?” In reality, he says that I will be reimbursed. If I did not cover or I owed them anything, that announcement would have been left straight away? I contend how do I all of a sudden currently owe SMS cash when they trade coverage is that they won’t take things off the truck before my contract has been paid in total?!! Finally, where’s the money that they owe me for exactly the identical job I had no option but to perform in my delivery in VA, which was exactly the exact same job achieved by the SMS group pioneer in FL??? SMS won’t answer one of these questions, but throws smoke up with cagey accounting reductions that they assert I received–that are all false.

    Amazing Start to Finish

I have transferred eight times in 15 decades, and I am always doubtful of moving businesses. I have had moving businesses damage my things, not appear on time, badly speak concerning pricing, or simply participate in unethical procedures. Stewart Transferring was COMPLETELY AMAZING beginning to finish.

I phoned and talked to a representative that stated they’d send out a professional to provide us a customized quotation; none of those other firms that I phoned offered that support. Kassie came out and walked us through what the cost could be and the way we can potentially save cash with things we can do ourselves in prep for the transfer.

From there, Amanda coordinated the movement with me flawlessly, answering all of my questions and also ensuring that I had been conscious of all updates. On the transfer day itself, the group arrived time and ended in just five hours. Joe,” Francisco, Desmond, and Alex were quite effective, friendly, and so were cautious with our items. I made sure to tip them nicely (hint your movers! ) ) Since they had been the BEST moving group I’ve ever needed. I’ll use this business exclusively at the long run for any other motions I want to create. Stewart moving is among the best sellers I’ve ever worked with!
