They explained that they’d be in contact me in 48 hours to inform me in which my couch was. Its been 5 days now without a telephone. THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE, THE Folks WHO WORK FOR IT ARE THIEVES, AND THE Individuals WHO RUN IT ARE LIARS. DON’T EVER USE THEM EVEN IF YOU THINK YOUR GETTING A GODO DEAL, YOU Aren’t!!

This is most certainly the most egregious company to work for. They’ll offer you on the transfer by providing you a very low estimate, smooth speaking you (even lying and state that they have been Marines, or individuals of high esteem ). You won’t ever speak with the salesperson again after confirming. You may speak to various people each single time you call. Started off on a bad note, I underestimated my square footage, so ensure that you finish the online pre-inventory correctly, my 900 sq ft was 1900 sq ft. I shall accept partial responsibility for it. I hired Quick Movers to transfer my mum’s possessions after she passed away. You will find just two destinations, one in Washington and another in California. I became worried when the movers arrived at my mum’s home at a Budget rental truck. The 2 guys were inept and appeared shifty. They had been anything but professional. Now I must have called off the movement, but I ignored my better instincts. I discovered afterwards that Speedy Movers is a broker, they don’t have their own trucks.

The following day once I got a statement for the transfer I saw that many fraudulent charges were added to my invoice. The movers had whined about the time that they arrived at my mum’s home. They stated that no one had been home when they came and they had to wait around for 2 hours. I’ve witnesses and telephone records to demonstrate that this was untrue. They included that a two hour”waiting fee” for my invoice which cost an extra $600. The ironic thing is that we needed to wait almost two hours to allow them to appear! Their explanation was that they were postponed by road building.

I had been charged an extra $180 for packaging four parts of furniture. I were advised by Daniel, the manager of earnings that the packaging will be included free of cost as partial reimbursement for the”place fee” he added. This charge was be especially outrageous because it had been the inspector’s inadequate and inept packaging that led to the devastation of my mum’s furniture.

I had been charged an extra $637 for”overload”. They whined about the cubic footage of this load. The combined total of my load was 210 cubic feet (I have evidence of the on videotape), but I had been billed for 520 cubic ft ) They were away with 310 cubic feet! I discovered afterwards that valid movers quantify the load by weight, not cubic footage, which can be simple for deceptive movers to falsify.

A 150 fuel surcharge has been added. The regulations say that this price is to be contained in the transfer, not included on. .

These extra fees added around $3067 greater than the initial quote. The regulations say that the final price cannot be greater than 10% within the binding quotation.

The fact of the situation eventually became apparent. It had become the organization’s intention all along to fool me. The charges they piled on were based on the lies that they composed!

My lawyer said these scammers rely on the fact that men and women in the middle of moving aren’t likely to do it against a moving business to get a couple thousand dollars, especially if they’re in a different nation.

Three days following the pickup from Durango the load to CA has been delivered. A box containing 12 place settings of Lenox china was lost. I presume that they were stolen. These dishes were in our family for two decades. At the current prices, only 1 place setting is 400!

I hired this business after seeing these fantastic reviews online.  The”binding” quote was anything but…I had been billed for tape that they had to wrap the bigger items.  I subtracted a couple of things and added a couple of my purchase when they arrived in the home for pickup.  I had a tiny load while I was performing a partial movement while the home was available to market.  I anticipated that I might need to pay a little bit extra, but was billed over $600 additional for adding a seat and a little table and two chairs (and subtracting a desk ).
The actual fun came when they got to my home at Seattle (from Oklahoma).  They maintained that the truck wouldn’t fit in my street (several other moving trucks have fit there) and stated they’d charge over $400 to take my items to the home.  They also promised that the truck would not fit on the street behind my house (there’s an entrance there) and they then dragged into that path to turn around when they abandoned!!  I refused to cover the extra $400, it was a lengthy process and they eventually agreed to take from the 3 lightest things (sofa, chair, and a portion of the mattress ) for $50.  The remainder of my items were abandoned around the side of the street!  I was lonely (51 yo girl ) and transported each thing (22 boxes, remainder of the mattress, two tables( back, etc) into the home myself.
I’ve moved across the country several times and have not had such poor support.  They also told me that they do not utilize subcontractors, but an Enterprise truck picked up my load and also a United Van Lines deliverred.
The remaining portion of the transfer has been done by Allied and they’ve assured me they could get in our street by using their truck and when they can not, they move the items to a bigger truck and send at no extra cost.  Allied says we cover for the shipping and it’s their obligation to get it there (because it shoudl be.) 
I phoned Speedy Movers to whine, sent images of the boxes that were damaged, along with an email and haven’t heard back in over a week.  Don’t use this business!
