    Long-distance move from Evanston, IL
    Scam Alert

These guys offer you a minimal estimate and tell you it is because they simply happen to get a truck moving to your destination the exact same week you need it. They even offer to reduce you a discount due to this. They promise they’ll be in contact with you each step along the way to guarantee a flawless transfer. They also guarantee you that you are able to pay by credit card and that your items will arrive within 7-10 days following pick-up. As soon as they take down your payment, you can’t hear from this individual again. The movers appear in leased Enterprise trucks (not Sovereign) and instantly attempt to con you into thinking you’re over by 300 cubic feet and that you owe them an additional $1500. They do so to everybody. It is all part of the scam. They also need to get compensated in money. Once your material is filled, they push away with your own things and then the games start. They do not appear when they guaranteed, and each single call you make to Sovereign goes unanswered or they place you on hold till you become disconnected. Should you get through to somebody, they just tell you they do not have some replies and you’ll simply have to wait till they call you. In our instance, we had been guaranteed a delivery date of 10 days following pick-up. It’s now been 23 and we are still sitting at a vacant house with no idea when (or if) our things will arrive. These men are hustlers. They take your money and your own things and just vanish. That which they promised you is a lie. When you telephone them rough answers, they simply ignore you.

    Long-distance move from Indianapolis, IN
    Terrible Moving Experience

Selected this business according to a really reasonable price estimate. Upon entrance, the movers improved the whole price of my transfer by nearly $1000. As the others here have said also. I needed to make things behind due to this. I had been told last Tuesday, 10/17/2017 that my possessions are on a truck on Friday 10/20/2017 and also be sent by Saturday 10/21/2017. I talked with”shipment” 3 days on Friday, attempting to will payment agreements, confirm that my possessions were on a vehicle and attempt to obtain a time period for shipping the following day. Every moment, I had been told I would find an email or a call back from somebody. At no time today have I got any calls back concerning those problems. My loved ones and I’ve spent a weekend waiting around for calls, mails and a truck load of private possessions that nobody can even find for me.

Update 10/24/17 — A person called now, affirmed that my possessions remain in storage (someplace ) and they ought to be sent Saturday 10/28/17. In addition, he said that we need to be given a call in the driver on Friday to provide an approximate shipping window.

    Update 10/28/2017
My possessions are delivered. We received a call last night that the delivery could be later 0800 today. Subsequently a text verification which the send will be AT 0800 now. The drivers came at 0900. They accumulated payment prior to even opening the rear truck door. This truck wasn’t filled ground to ceiling as described, there were at least 2 other client’s possessions on the vehicle apart from mine. Pictures below are of destroyed boxes along with the truck that they came in (that was the exact same”emblem” since the pickup truck). The movers themselves were considerate, and could unload the boxes at about 1 hour. They didn’t, yet, unwrap some of their furniture. The movers in pickup recorded the provider’s furniture pads across a few dressers and disassembled the dresser / mirror mix because of security. As soon as I asked the movers now when they’d set the mirror back on, he explained,”Delivery just”. SO right now I’m going to go start moving and unpacking furniture to find out whether there’s any damaged merchandise. Oh and at the top of ALL that, there’s no WAY that my possessions are taking up the billed cubic footage which I paid for, and I’ll be recording that also.
