    Long-distance move from Nevada
    Lost items

On September 18,2016,Southwest Vanlines picked up 27 things out of my Las Vegas address. They must be sent to Webster,NY from the 27th or earlier. The truck came on the 29th. It was a rainy afternoon and the driver with the support of my kid emptied the truck. In the start that the driver together with our aid was checking off the quantities of our items.Eventually, he chose the stock sheet and assessed every product. Then we noticed that two tables and a single box #76 weren’t delivered. He assessed the truck and they weren’t there.
From then on it’s been a disaster attempting to speak with all the Anthem insurance individuals and seeking to locate SWVL. I talked with Eli one time but haven’t got an reply to my calls because.
I’m in Las Vegas for two weeks and want to visit the warehouse to find out if my things are there. Nobody will give me the website address in vegas.
They’re offering me $54.00 for the missing treasures that I’ve has for over 30 decades. I would like them to tell me what efforts were made to locate my items.I do not need their cash,I would like my things back.

    Long-distance move from Antioch, CA
    Dishonest Pricing.

I phoned Budget Vanlines to Get a quote to get a out of state move from CA to NV. The agent Matt and I moved over every item that could be contained at the move. Depending on the things given I had been given a quote of 3046. After getting a couple quotes from different movers I chose to proceed with Budget. At no time that I was ever informed that they had been also a brokage. I had been advised the evening prior to the scheduled proceeding date which Southwest Vanlines are my own carrier. This day the movers came with a SMALL leased moving truck. Before they loadedthe plumber and that I moved over all of the items that had to be transferred. He advised me that his truck was not large enough and had to lease another truck. At the moment I thought to myself why does not he return the present truck and let a bigger one. Anyhow he returned together with another little that had things in it from a different client. Agin the next truck was not large enough departing him to go back another evening to find out the rest items. After the previous pickup was countered that is when I struck with these inflated fees. The prices had shifted from $3046.00 to $7896.00. Major difference. Later that afternoon I contrasted the contract I left using Budget and Southwest suggested fees. I discovered that Southwest’s motorist fees were based on an estimation of four-star whereas Budget’s prices were predicated on .35 pennies per pound. I phoned Budget and talked with their rep. concerning this large discrepancy and has been reassured that they’d call me back as soon as they’ve spoken to the proprietor. Unfortunately, they never returned my phone. I wound up phoning the proprietor Eli myself and he promised me fees will be burden based and I’d get the last bill after the next truck had been weighed. Lo and behold, the fees weren’t that far different- $6892.00. Once reviewing the revised quote, I discovered that they billed me $1100 only for the next truck alone and yet another $2386 for your materials inside it to be sent. This isn’t only dishonest it’s unscrupulous since I didn’t purchase another truck. They did. And why would they haven’t purchased a bigger truck rather than 2 small trucks?

Long-distance move from Rancho Mirage, CA
    Worst move ever

The very first portion of the procedure with Budget Van Lines was fairly friendly and straightforward with Matt and Junior. As the others have stated, they’re a broker and that I have stuck with Southwest Van Lines. Run away as fast as possible if Budget frees them to you (which it seems like is that their go-to company ). Among other difficulties, I offered more furniture and did not move up to the initial quote. Budget rep said no issue, the cost will be corrected when Southwest weighed what. They did not weigh anything. When my possessions were eventually coming THREE WEEKS AFTER PICK-UP, the proprietor Eli shouted at me when I inquired why the cost was exactly the same because I had much fewer possessions. He had been planning to carry my things hostage before Junior in Budget jumped in and said that I could go together into some weigh station one hour off to get items considered, have them unloaded and then return to the hour off weigh station to acquire the true weight. After with no furniture for 3 months, I dropped and only agreed to cover the initial cost as to prevent the entire chaos of their lengthy weigh channel excursions. In addition to the late shipping, the is determined by obtaining a lower cost with a decrease weight and also the blackmail to receive my things , the movers broke/damaged six things. To add insult to injury, they have not /will not supply documentation to the promises firm so that I could be refunded the pennies on the dollar which I am owed. Bottom line: I’d not consider having a moving agent unless I was convinced the carrier that they use was really legit.

    Long-distance move from South Dakota
    Not trustworthy

We utilized funding vanlines to discover a carrier. I payed the carrier up front which has been a major mistake. First of all BVL stated it’d require at most 10 times to send the things then the company SOUTH WEST vanlines”Eli” the proprietor himself, stated it might take 7-10 in the least. Allowed it states in the arrangement it might take up to 21″business days”, but they both said it’d never achieve that. We kept getting excuse after justification into the 21 day deadline. First it had been they’re supporting on deliveries, then they’re short staffed, they then confronted bad weather, they then stopped reacting. Also, but they will always find something additional to bill you for and that I guarantee you it isn’t a little quantity. The provider SOUTHWEST VANLINES will not never ever answer your requirements or return your own voice email however many you telephone them. But wait there’s more, because when was carrying an elevator more costly then taking the staircase!!!! Watch out since they also depend on the measures it requires from where they park their truck into your front door and bill you for that. They then bill for stairs. They let you know that the initial flight of stairs (6-7 measures is for free) and each flight then is 75!!!!! Really???? When you register a contract please, please read the fine print and each newspaper you register and read the fine line print. Apparently they’ll also bill you for the flight of stairs upon shipping. All these businesses are unprofessional, although BVL understands a small booking fee for themselves, the firms they find to perform the job would be very very bad quality and dishonest men and women. You may also employ an expert well-known company like uhaul. Trust me you’ll be paying the identical amount in the long run and perhaps even less. However, at least you’d receive your product in time and treat professional men and women. Sorry BVL however SOUTHWEST VANLINES fully destroyed your picture in my eyes.
