I’ve used the majority of the significant brand automotive movers. Lately , I contracted with Southeast to transfer my home products from Atlanta, Georgia, to Michigan.

I coped with Benjamin David, President of Southeast Van Lines, Atlanta, Georgia.

David guaranteed”high-end” service together with his”highly trained” staff. David offered me a $7,000 pack-and-move for example an optional $795 full-value insurance package that insured $50,000 of merchandise using a $500 deductible.

Upon delivery the majority of the furniture has been ruined. Computers were chucked into boxes with no protection or wrapping. They had been crushed inside their boxes.

Clothes using their hangars were filled and piled into apparel boxes without being dangled. Private vanity posts were stolen or missing.

After the packers were in different chambers loading boxes and outside of line-of-sight, the team was simply dumping our possessions into boxes with no wrap whatsoever. Upon entrance virtually each box had ruined items and almost every piece of furniture has been ruined.

Great thing I bought the optional full replacement value insurance, right? Wrong. Southeast refused to honor the extra insurance I bought.

Southeast utilized subterfuge, chicanery and sleight-of-hand contract tips to cause me into buying”full replacement value” insurance that’s unworthy when waging a war of attrition against me later creating a claim against Southeast.

This firm has way too many complaints (see below) and a lot of them cite Southeast company practices as unethical, deceptive. Blatantly misrepresentative, and much more.
