Alright, I am kidding, but they had been that good.  When I first booked Smart selection van lines, I had been provided a window of time which they may arrive on moving day. I was amazingly impressed if they predicted the dawn of the movement and informed me a particular time they’d arrive. I was initially impressed when they came at the moment. . .spot on. They attempted to bill me $200 for additional buys and threatened to leave them behind if I did not pay. They assert that the driver moved to Alabama and I will have to cover $600 to make them visit Florida! They’ve basically hijacked my possessions for ransom.

They look nice enough about the telephone. Joyful and fun ahead of the purchase….But they’re faster to rebut honest reviews than to correct clients issues. I discovered not one bad inspection solved. . HINT HINT. .
As promoted they were economical, so were their explanations.
My possessions were picked up two weeks later than the scheduled time. I analyzed the vehicle and it wasn’t any visible holes.  My possessions came a week late but with 25 percent of my things lost. And yet they could not locate my possessions. Subsequently the cheap explanations began….Not even an effort at resolution following several calls and filing claim forms.
Simply stated, I’ve got better stuff to do this write reviews, but I really don’t understand the best way to receive my problems resolved.

Since when provide a quote to get furniture wrapping, then you clearly do not account for mirror box then last minute break contract to create them purchase box’s for $35 each… And broken objects onto pickup, important screws and components left on flooring. (third party builders incidentally )

They can not give us a shipping period, or perhaps a rough estimate before the afternoon before shipping, which can be 2 weeks afterwards. They stated they’d be there between 2pm and 6pm and that they ran to traffic (it is D.C. Obviously there’s traffic) so that they postpone and get here at 7pm. Everything is fine, until they simply say”oh, we do not work beyond 6:00pm” (even though their error, and they showed up a hour later than 6pm) and actually tell us we need to build rest of what ourselves and leave crap everywhere and simply up and leave.

My girlfriend calls them, and insted of creating it appropriate they shout at her! She told them she had been calling better business Bureau, as well as their answer is to mail her telling us that the BBB is merely a joke anyway… did not even attempt to make things right.

This is definitely the most unprofessional company ever. This entire move proved to be a total nightmare. The first quote was approximately 5200.   We ended up paying far over the quoted cost and still didnt go all of our stuff. First, what the booking experts told me was a lie.” They never came out to perform a list and she only wished to be aware of the huge items and she claimed what goes. They stated They’d Offer a 52 feet trailer and return on Friday Feb 27th.   They did not come until Sat and did not Begin functioning until 3pm.   They’d simply pack the things that has been on the record and refused to take the rest of our things unless we agreed to cover more.   They only showed up using a single 28ft truck.   They ceased packaging by 7pm stated they were exhausted. Our material was scattered everywhere and left out in the rain.   They stated they’ll return for the things on the listing to get an additional $500.   That means we had to pay extra to allow them to complete their project and we even had to lease our personal uhaul to the things they would not take.   We also had to choose them to uhaul for one more truck that they guaranteed us at our own vehicle that was really unprofessional. The refuse to shoot our 4 wheeler.  None of them spoke some english and the proprietor was quite rude and cried us on the telephone.   They were assumed to arrive at our destination around Sun.   They did not leave until Sunday day which came on monday in a later time afterward advised.   They would not even start the vehicle to allow us see Our stuff Wasn’t stolen or broken.   We finished up between cops.   This is the worst move ever….   They also go by Transferring America Xpress.

To their credit it’d look like they’d piled things from the truck at a somewhat coordinated manner, however, it was a Really stressful day with all the Further communication problems in Addition to the already stressful movement.   I’d ordered for my parents to be in the shifting destination the next day so I can get my things back and take it a day for this provider.  The following morning I received a telephone call in the MOVING AMERICA office that should have been telling me why that my motorist was 5 minutes in the destination and instead I had been advised that following my stuff had been placed to the truck which the motorist got in a Massive argument with SMART CHOICE VAN LINES who informed him they had to carry my things from their truck and put it in storage.   To their credit, I did not pay for the storage.   But Nobody contacted me about carrying my items from the truck particularly since it all was settled when the transfer pickup was finish and it had been verified and arranged that my things could be in SC the next day.   So, three times gone.   In that time, SMART CHOICE VAN LINES wouldn’t return my calls regarding the rift They caused today along with the lack of responsibility.   The individual at MOVING AMERICA did return my phone me the brand new morning which the truck was likely to arrive that the truck broke down and they needed to ship a brand new truck to complete the transport.   Each morning, I needed to telephone the MOVING AMERICA individuals to Learn today in which the newest moving truck is indeed that I know when my items are supposed to arrive.   I kept getting the runaround as they did not possess a estimated date of birth along with also my frustration moved through the roof since my items should have just been transferred off and on a truck twice — once for pickup and after for shipping.   As a Result of This lack of accountabilty and dumbfounded miscommunication, my items had been transferred FIVE TIMES!!   After for your pickup, after for storage, then after for from back and storage in automobile, after for from truck and to fresh truck and after for shipping.   Consequently, there was a heightened amount of harm for my things due to All the manhandling.   My things eventually came 10 days following the initial pickup in New York.   When they came along with the movers started the back of the vehicle, boxes were anywhere.   It seemed just like something blew up inside there.   Do not make me wrong.   I totally understand and anticipate there to be a wear and tear over the boxes because that occurs with motions.   Nearly all mine had been crushed and like I checked off boxes my attest, there were lost things that the driver needed to search and hunt through misc. I doubt if this is a true firm. We paid nearly 400 dollars progress and reserved them. They did not appear on the projected date and ceased answering calls few days until the day of pickup. About two weeks following the scheduled date that the Co-ordinators Ms Kelly, Mr Walter phoned and also listened amazed that nobody had come to choose out our belongings. Then they offered to pick up our materials 4 days after. Since we had been from time we needed to reserve another firm for double that cost.
This firm offered to repay the 400 bucks that they owed us. It has been nearly 3 weeks. No reply from them to our mails or telephone calls. I believe that this is most likely a bogus firm.

DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS!

They didn’t offer an ETA for shipping before the afternoon before.

The driver attempted to charge me a very long haul charge of $215. He claimed he could not make the turn for my flat, however the leasing representatives showed him the way to proceed through the house and that he refused to attempt.

Once I refused to cover the fee, then they unloaded all of my furniture before the leasing office, and made it all there.
