NEVER USE SKY MOVERS!!! THE WILL ROB YOU

These individuals are extremely unethical, we have been advised 1700 to move us. Well we’d 50 extra boxes, therefore this could cost us $3000 more. They were also supposed to be here Sunday, not known us to notify us, I phoned to discover where they had been, subsequently revealed Monday afternoon. We had been contending with them, and during this procedure, they cashed our test 30 minutes before we advised them to cancel the task. They owe us 1140 back and we cannot get a record of those. They will not answer our requirements, but will reply from somebody else amount. They dismiss you in case you do not utilize them. Never use or recommend this unprofessional, dishonest, reckless, very rude folks. Never ever use!

    Dishonest, poor communication and unreliable

I picked Sky Moving predicated solely on the’shining’ testimonials here in MyMoverReviews.com. Had I investigated the mostly-negative reviews of the company in other sites, I would have avoided them like the plague. They had been dishonest, unreliable and did not care for clients.

When I talked with Shiri of Sky Transferring, she advised me to offer her — on the place – a list of all of the things to be transferred. That ought to have been a red flag, since among the things which set aside reputable, quality-service movers from crappy ones will be the way they take stock. The former either give you a listing on paper to itemize (to be shipped back to them), or send a representative over to perform stock. On-the-spot verbal stock is a certain indication of crappy support. It’s also quite wrong because you can’t recall everything each moment. For me personally, there were things I forgot to add and did not realize it until much later.

In accordance with Sky’s quote, the prices have been based on weight and had a’Tariff Discount’. Never heard of ‘Tariff Discount’. I figured it had been meant to give the false belief that Sky supplied the’cheapest’ rate. It sure seemed that way on paper. On the other hand, the quote did not matter. Since Sky was not the one which came by to do the proceeding. The one which did showed up went with a very different speed and contributed to a greater price.

I phoned Sky again on June 17 to reaffirm the speech, date and transportation automobile (smaller than semi-truck). A guy on the opposite line reaffirmed it all. Sunday, June 27 came. Waited till late day, but no telephone call from the driver as guaranteed by Shiri. I left two messages to the office telephone, in part expressing my concern that no motorist was going to appear. Then at 7pm, a girl (#512-981-9417) called to inform me that a motorist called Bobby will be arriving the next day (Monday). She gave me his number (once I asked her to get it), where I phoned him. He explained — over two calls — which our things could be picked up on Monday and delivered on Tuesday. He didn’t tell me straight up; I needed to ask him especially. At the time, I had an uncomfortable feeling that there could be many more issues to come.

Monday, June 28. By mid-afternoon, motorist Bobby neither called nor answered the telephone despite many attempts to contact him. So I called Ms.’512-981-9417′ twice. Initially, she said she would attempt to get Bobby then phone me backagain. She did not, so I phoned her an hour afterwards. She stated Bobby did not possess the PO. How would he manage to get into my location with no PO?? I was already worried. Then I called Shiri. It seemed like she was not at the office. Wallpaper sound indicated she had been elsewhere getting from her vehicle, and there was a child with her?? After expressing my hectic condition, she said she would get in contact with the driver. 30 minutes later, a person called Steve from Compass Van Lines known as. He said he would be my driver, and might get to me when he ended with his present occupation. Except he did not understand when the present occupation would finish. He and his team did not show up until 9pm. This meant that our items wouldn’t be delivered until the next day.

When Steve went through the paperwork with me, I had been billed $2.80/cu. Ft. for quoted quantity, and $3.80/cu. Ft. for quantity which has been finished. Since I had been supposedly 200 cu. Founded above, that has been an additional $786.60. 20 additional boxes of 5 cu. ft. each totaling over 200 cu. ft.?!! [EDIT]! What’s more, Compass billed me from the quantity. Sky quoted me just by the pounds — $0.81/pounds within quote and $0.90/pounds for weight which has been over! Not just that, Steve attempted to terrorize me by asserting his’boss’ would not accept money order (for 50 percent of staying quoted equilibrium to be paid throughout pickup ) which was created out to Sky Moving. At the first place, I did not understand Sky contracted the task to Compass before a couple of hours before Compass revealed out, which was late at the night on pickup date. Then, Steve would not affirm the approximate time he’d appear. Up to this stage, I had been under the belief that Sky had been doing the proceeding. This was why the money order was created out to them. Nevertheless Sky didn’t even have the courtesy to get me’before pick-up date’ to validate arrival as promised. Steve did not care. The $528.00 money order wasn’t any good. I would need to re-withdraw the rejected level and the residual balance. Total projected price = $2804.00. I really could pay for $2276.00 (if Steve would take the money order), but maybe not $2804.00. Where could I get that type of cash? (The next day, before delivery, Steve reported that he accepted the cash order, so that I just needed to offer the rest.)

Compass delivered on Tuesday mid-afternoon, using a few ruined furniture. The entire experience was a nightmare. Stressful, inferior to no communication from Sky, potential burned financing and tons of wasted time. I learnt today what to look for in a plumber company another time I move. Definitely not Sky Transferring along with Compass Van Lines. Any company that does not charge by quantity is not to be reliable. What’s more, Sky didn’t offer you an GNTE (Guarantee To Not Exceed) proposition, which enabled them along with the contracted movers to bill me anything obscene amount they desired. But one question remained unanswered. Who was Bobby (Number 512-981-9418) and Ms.’512-981-9417′? What did they need to do with all the shifting?

    Sky Moving and Storage- Florida

This is the worst, many dishonest group of individuals I’ve ever met. Things were stolen while loading, things were left behind and that I was not made aware by movers, cost changes 3 days. Following my things were in their ownership 1 week, then they called and required payment in full the following day or my things would”visit the ditch”. I was told my things would then be sent at noon the next day following CASH payment was recieved. 1 week after, nothing. I call them, my things STILL haven’t left Florida. Why did it move to Florida whatsoever. The transfer was from IN to CA. I had been lied to, cheated, and handled VERY BADLY. My stuff had been picked up on the 1st, I wastold by these now, it’d be the end of the month until I get it. PLEASE, NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE.

    Sky Movers Takes NO RESPONSIBILITY

On pickup of my furnature at Nashville Tn. All was great. . Movers were professional and effiencent. . Nevertheless, when it was time to send my furnature into my new residence in Arizona, before they even got to the country they had been calling me and telling me that they could not catch ot my property. . I would need to lease a secondhand truck and cover it and perform the unloading myself. . After that has been solved (all of my job ) They eventually showed up with displaced people they’d hired for 20 buck for your day. . Dropped my mattress from the dirt and abandoned it there until I went and picked this up. .broke bookshelves and pliers on furnature and once I reported that they shot NO RESPONSIBILIT”Y. . I spoke with David and gave them a Fair cost to replace the very bad stuff. . He explained OK and that I never heard from them again. . Everyone can encounter honest to acquire the job. . It is if something really goes wrong. . Do they accept responsibility. . This firm will not. . DO NOT USE THEM . . Ray Pitts

They will cheat you out of every dime they can!

Sky Moving and Storage will quote you a superbly low speed, claiming no hidden charges and no additional charges. If they arrive (that for me was 6 hours late). They’ll add on charges for everything conceivable, such as packaging tape that they use to wrap around your furniture pads. They billed me for stairs regardless of the contract stating no cost for the initial set. They included on roughly $600 worth of charges which weren’t disclosed previously. They illegally charge extra dependent on the legislation that protect customers from moving businesses. A business may charge a set rate based on projected weight with no additional fees or may cost a variable rate based on actual weight and fees. They’ll charge a higher level rate, and charges. They also ruined my furniture, were advised to cover me for the harms and now refuse to do so. They won’t reply to my mails, and also the last time I phoned them, they hung me up. Overall, I dropped around $800 due for their scams, and a great deal of anxiety and sleepless nights out of stressing.

    Dishonest - Do not use

Business didn’t predict they day before going to validate arrival time – that I needed to phone them. Was told that they could be in my home at 09:00. The motorist called me the evening of going in 10:00 to mention that they were at Orlando and wouldn’t be at my home before 14:00 – I had been asked was that I cool with that. I had been requested by the driver just how much I gave me, once I told him, he explained that it had been likely price more, much more!
When they eventually came, the first thing that I had been told was that it was likely to charge me twice as far as mentioned.
When I informed them I had a voucher I had been informed”you honestly think They’re going to Allow You to use that”
I compensated for 3 movers, among them turned up one hour following another two came.
Since this provider insists on you paying them money to the day of going, I advised the movers that I would need to visit the ATM as today I had been going to need to spend more than I’d previously believed.
They followed me into the ATM, since I had been in the ATM eliminating money, and the direct individual got from their truck and said that they had been expecting a hint! (I felt ashamed and threatend)
After at my new house, I discovered that they had allowed several things behind, almost all of my furniture was scratched and also the corner of my computer desk was totally chipped off.
I reported them to the BBB – that they refused everything. I filed a claim with their assert firm – that they refused to cover.
What ever you do – do not use this firm.

    Dishonest

Advised that two guys and 5 hours have been a lot to get a 4 bedroom house. I asked 4 guys and was awarded 6 hours to get a 12 mile movement. They again stated that according to their expertise, two guys and 5 hours has been plenty for this dimension home and brief space for delivery. I had been told however that because four guys was more than needed I would need to pay for 6 hours even if they finished early. I stated that was nice.
I signed up for and provided a deposit for 4 men and 6 hours.
Was expecting them to arrive at ancient a.m. of pickup and delivery afternoon. Instead was told that they would arrive between 11:00 and 2:00. I informed them I was not told about this beforehand. I had people lined up to guide and unpack boxes since they arrived in.
At 11:00 on the day of pickup came, I asked and asked if the motorist could notify me of anticipated birth. Natalie the sales rep said they’d arrive approximately 12:00. I waited in the storage device until 1:00 and called again. Spoke to the dispatcher Kim. She said that they are here by 2:00. At 2:00 I phoned again, Kim stated that they had a tire blow out and will be here in 10 minutes. At 2:30 I called again and talked to Kim. She stated they’d be there any moment. They came at 3:00. I waited three hours in my storage device, waiting for them to appear! Upon arrival they said I had to sign a contract. In this procedure, the most important driver said I just made a deposit of $150.00 once I’d really paid $350.00. He predicted and confirmed I had really paid $350.00. Then I discovered that the fourth person was not some where to be observed. When asked about that they said the fourth person could not make it. I inquired, will I get a refund for your fourth man? He said that I needed to talk with the dispatcher.
I called the dispatcher who said that I had been UNDER quoted and due to this I wouldn’t be getting a refund. I was also told that the fourth person would not have made any difference in the loading and loading time. I told them that this was unacceptable and also to talk to a supervisor. Obviously no boss was accessible and have yet (two days after ) to listen from them. They spent 4 of those 6 hours loading the truck.
Subsequently upon arrival at the delivery address, the most important driver notifies me that he desires his equilibrium of this contract BEFORE he’ll unload the vehicle. He additionally said that WHEN they move over the the alloted 6 hours that I would need to pay extra for each and every hour that they had been there. I told him I had a contract and paid for 6 hours and then this was all I was planning to cover. Because of bad time management in their part that they now had marginally less than two weeks to unload the vehicle. I had been advised from the driver in control that when in the end of their 2 hours, even if they weren’t completed and that I had not paid them more cash, he’d leave with with the remainder of my furnishings.
I told him I’d paid all I was planning to cover and I wouldn’t go together with the extortion. I suggested they complete in two hours or there could be difficulties. They emptied the truck (though Im still lacking some wood working tools) in two hours – BY LEAVING THE BULK OF MY FURNISHINGS IN THE DRIVEWAY! And of course the harm to my NEW houses walls and hard wood flooring. They left and we then needed to locate buddies at 10:00 o’clock on a Thursday night to help make the furnishings.
DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, USE THIS COMPANY. IN HIND SIGHT I FEEL LIKE IT WAS A SCAM from the Start.

Thank you Sky Moving & Storage for making our moving that much easier.

I can not say enough good things about Sky Moving & Storage! I found some reviews which weren’t exactly the very best and that I also myself had a horrible experience with another inspector that ruined my really expensive furniture. I filed a claim and found out they gave me a false speech. So I did a little research, the team which I asked did an wonderful job! They had their work cut out for them too!
I moved out of a 3300 square foot house, to some 1800 sq feet home that’d THREE levels along with also a delicate floating stair case (NOT A SCRATCH FROM JAY MOVERS), then the remainder of it moved to storage! They did such a fantastic job! I can not feel what they raised. So professional also! Each of them shook my hand whilst introducing them all to me!
I am a PICKY individual and they over exceeded my expectations!
I could not have asked for a much better experience!
    Due Sky Moving & Storage!
I know my next move is with you!

    Dishonest - do not use

My experience had been similar to lots of the other people that had a terrible experience, actually I believe it is tough to think those reviews who speed the business as outstanding.

What about the experience was so awful. They came 6 hrs overdue, told me that the price I was quoted was incorrect and that it would price be twice as far, they wouldn’t allow me speak with a manager, laughed once I gave them a voucher and essentially needed a suggestion. They also made me feel so uncomforable that I gave them a little hint because I was fearful of what they could do if I didn’t.

They abandoned furniture behind and damaged many portions of the furniture.

Despite continued efforts to file for reimbursement they refused to comply by thier own principles, and kept changing the rules everytime I complied with their orders.

I am hoping these testimonials prevent other movers moving through exactly what I and many others have gone through with this corporation.

The worst move of my Life and still waiting for my things...

    06-02-11

    To whom it may backfire;

My name is H. Davie. I have recently jumped to Dunedin, Fl Out Of Atlanta, Ga.. I’d contacted a moving firm by the name of Sky Enforcement advice:
    Reference No:W258674
    US DOT: 1577176
    MC: 584006
    Registration Number: IM1446 MR-538
    MC: 621542-B
My pickup has been scheduled to get Wed.. May 25th, 2011 involving the hours of 9am-11am. The evening prior to getting my finalized quote of 3300lbs, I requested my client service representative Natalie when I want to do anything on my own things. She advised me to ensure that my eyeglasses had been wrapped in bubble wrap and then that the movers could care for the 2 flat display and also my glass coffee table. I had a cleanup team scheduled to come perform a move-out cleanup involving the hours of 4-5 pm. Sadly, the moving firm (Cross Country Moving) didn’t return to pick up my things till 9pm wed night. As soon as they arrived, they told me that I had to signal the quote (which was wrong ) and kinds that wasn’t filled out in order to allow them to begin loading my things. I advised them that we had to speak to the business due to this and the guy explained that he couldn’t because they had been shut. Then I attempted to get Sky-movers itself but I had been moved along with than hung up on. I tried 5 more times to phone but always obtained the voice mail following this point. I informed the man I wouldn’t have the ability to sign up but he told me when I didn’t they’d leave rather than pick up my things. I jumped to signal a few of the kinds with remarks (where I have images of) since I needed to vacate the premises in addition to leave for to Florida in 4am to make my scheduled job interviews. The movers didn’t leave my house till 3am Thursday morning, so mind that you nourish them and be sure that they were alright. They left things supporting that was likely to be packaged and they left with no understanding of them departing. On Thursday afternoon, I got a telephone call from Israel Barda, from cross-country moving telling me that my things were weighted and had arrived outside to 3400 within the estimated weight that equaled a total of 6700 pounds. They stated that my equilibrium was currently $5100.00. I advised him that this wasn’t possible and I would return his telephone once I had been steady. To make along story short, it’s been over a week because my things are picked up. At yesterday 5-01-11, Cross say going said that I owed them the sum given previously and that I advised them that they could be reached by my lawyer and I would likewise be contacted the DOT and Consumer reporting. Currently, the proprietor Dave from sky Transferring and Israel out of Cross State Moving advised me that they re-weight my things and the present burden is 3920 pounds. I said to them both that I’m prepared to pay $1,115 complete (balanced owed in addition to an extra $75 for your measures ) the $231.00 deposit which has been already paid. Dave of Sky inspector advised me that when I didn’t pay him that the $2268.30 that’s my brand new fees he won’t deliver my things. Then I advised that he will be hearing from my lawyer.

    Just for Extra information:
I have photographs of all my things which were packaged and picked up, the files presented to me personally and the files I had been providing a copy of those I was not. I’ve live recorded discussions (movers in which advised that they were being listed ) of the nighttime of pickup in addition to recorded telephone conversations. In addition, I have a backup of all 3 quotes delivered by Sky Movers for myself.

    WORST MOVE EVER

I will simply cut and paste the email I’ve sent to skies moving, which has still yet to react. Nothing out of Natalie and nothing in top management – that they really hung us up when we attempted to phone because we hadn’t got a reply: don’t use, actually!!!!!

    Here is the email:

    Natalie:

I only wished to allow you to know that has been the worst moving company I’ve ever worked with. I’m in the hotel business and a general manager of a resort here in Sarasota. I’ve been in the business for more than 21 years – client support is what I breathe and live each day of my entire life.

I’ve relocated more than ten occasions in the previous twenty decades, I’ve experienced all kinds of motions, from forcing my own u-haul, to being packaged and sent to only hiring movers.

Our experience with your firm has been the worst I’ve ever encountered. What occurred?

    1) I never got a call from anyone on Friday to affirm my transfer date.
    2) I made a VoIP Saturday afternoon, the afternoon of this go, in 8:30 am – no – man phoned me back.
    3) I called again after that afternoon and got somebody who did not talk great English and wasn’t considerate at all – stated she did not down us before after 2:00 pm. I informed her I chased it for 1:00 pm. Every box, each of the food and clothes we’d already transferred into the new residence. All I needed was the furniture – we even moved a number of the bigger furniture downstairs, and that they would not need to and we can begin cleaning the carpeting upstairs. Literally, they all needed to move out of upstairs was just two beds, 1 seat, and 2 dressers.

Therefore 2:00 o’clock rolls ago and still have not got a telephone call from anybody – so I phone back again. I think that the name was Michael that I talked with, answers the telephone and says, allow me to give them a phone – that comes back and states that they have been”Stuck in ft. Meyers in their final job” it is likely to be no less than a few hours. With this stage, I’m extremely irritated as my neighbors one building down’d gone to pick up their u-haul, rich it and were gone and that I still didn’t have the firm which I paid cash to own nobody at my home yet. Michael was quite rude – I clarified my frustrations and all he needed to say was”We do not expect one to sit around and twiddle your thumbs, it is your moving day and I am positive you’ve got a whole lot to do”. I had been already done and proposed that time so we can get into the new home and return into the older one and complete cleaning. He proceeds to inform me that they’ll call when it is thirty minutes outside. So today we’ve got six people standing round, so we opt to begin carrying more heaps above to the new property. 3:30 rolls ago, again I receive no telephone call. Therefore I call the 800 number back – Michael states, allow me to call them and determine where they are – he comes back and states, that they are only coming to the departure, it is going to be approximately 20 minutes. I said actually, 20 minutes since if they’re coming our departure, it needs to be five seconds. I inquire at the opportunity to consult with a supervisor and he says that he is – naturally , he has a manager, however they aren’t there and that I need to call weekly.

They eventually arrive at 4:13 pm – Allen (the direct inspector ) provides me attitude straight away upon birth. He marks it down that he had been there at 4:00 pm. Says he attracted a third man and he will only cost me $10.00 each hour additional so that it moves quicker. I told him no, I do not need it, this job will take nothing over two hours. He says to me”What would you really need me only to sit about and see them?” I mentioned, I really don’t care what you do – I am not paying extra.” . He stated,”Fine, then I will subtract the cost”. He did not do anything anyhow.

He proceeds to tell me he is not likely to have the ability to place blankets on everything since it is going to take a long time and if I wish to keep it in the 3 hours, then it can not be carried out. They loaded at less then 45 minutes, so we drove 9 miles into the new place and they have been done in under 45 minutes back again. He indicated on the newspaper that he was there before 7:00, however they had gone from 6:05 pm – he said that is what he places because it is at least 3 hours. He completely could have had the time to wrap the furniture in blankets how it ought to happen to be wrapped. Load time, drive time and spend time has been from 4:13 into 6:05 complete!!!!!!!

The part about needing to invest in money appeared unethical to me. The entire encounter honestly looked like a scam.

The very first item of furniture that they completed was a coffee table which lifts up and rather than inquiring how it secured, among the men just down it and flexed the bending mechanism. Allen went over and bent it back and explained , there, today it is not broken. They’d place the furniture to your parking lot and frankly, it looked like the 2 movers which were shifting the furniture hadn’t any clue how to get it done, they fought with all the dollie and so were ver clumsy.

The followup, the movers, the folks on the telephone and also the professionalism has been the worst I’ve ever observed. I’ll tell everybody that this corporation shouldn’t be thought about ever to get a moving business. Furthermore, I’ll Search for sockets on the World Wide Web to post my dreadful experience, unless You’re willing to Deal with these problems and do some thing about the adventure…

    Worst moving company ever!!!

Run as far as possible from this business! I am in the process of submitting a claim and will undergo law suit to receive our stolen cash back!!
The entire experience was a nightmare! They contracted a different firm (Cross Condition proceeding )to pickup and another party to provide. The original quote was for 1400 and we ended up paying 3000 though we had been at the precise weight range! .
There was added $330 deposit that they promised would be for deposit and was not deducted in the bill! We ended up paying it twice and cross state ensured us that skymoving will repay it and skies moving told us that they don’t have anything to do for it! They had been incredibly unprofessional. . Throwing blames on others. . And impolite!! And didn’t demonstrate any willingness to collaborate! They stated this isn’t our issue!!! We simply contracted another firms also you follow your cash!!
Moreover, every possible thing which can be busted came busted!! Even the drier! They forced us to pay ahead of time before we visit our stuff! They broke simply everything and worst of everything they refused to re assemble our children beds!! Though they promised us in the start they’ll accomplish this. The guy who came at shipping Alex was really rude and also in a poor mood and only said I do not understand and that I won’t take action afterwards he took the cash!

They didn’t clearly explain prices and then demanded more cash or would not unload truck. The real movers were great, however, the supervisor told them to function slower since it had been an hourly fee. They showed up at the morning two and a half an hour late and their truck was full of crap already that they needed to wash out until they could begin and they added that at the time I was paying for. They advised me that the day of the movement that they couldn’t pack mirrors unless I paid additional. They’d cover mattresses just if I paid additional. They had been out to find additional cash any way they can. Don’t use this business!

This is actually the worst, most unethical, unprofessional company I’ve ever worked with. They whined, a number of my things was ruined, I’m missing many matters, and they did not even take all from my previous residence. They simply left it behind. Had I not gone back after they left, I’d not have understood it. I was quoted one price and has been billed twice that and was told when I did not pay they’d toss my things at the ditch. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE COMPANY.

DO NOT HIRE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!!!!

Sky Moving and Storage can deceive, lie, and steal away from you. Do not be deceived by the receptionists. They essentially ended charging up TWICE too much, also charging us to get items that they said that they would not when we did not desire (mattress covers, bubble wrap). I guessed that I had to employ them since the quote was simply too great to pass up. I WOULD HAVE PAID DOUBLE TO GET MY STUFF in Time. AND SO MUCH WAS BROKEN.

They also played it real cool once they arrived to pick up our things and stated that they would take it with their free storage before we have an address prepared for them to send to. They picked up our belongings on JULY 29th. I phoned August 1st to inform them our new address and establish a delivery date. THEY DON’T CALL BACK, first off, and therefore don’t bother leaving a voicemail. They advised me several times that a truck was arriving in the close of the week and also could pick up our belongings to maneuver it. 3 WEEKS LATER! ITS AUGUST 24th!!!

So here I am, in my brand new home free of STUFF. IT’S BEEN 27 DAYS SINCE SKY MOVING AND STORAGE PICKED OUR STUFF UP! 27 DAYS I HAVE HAD NOTHING!

I’m absolutely disgusted by what that this business stands for. They’ve zero respect or perhaps look after their clients who place faith in them that they can find the task finished. The strangest thing about this moving business is that I relied upon them, and as soon as they have your belongings, there’s absolutely NOTHING you can do in order to receive your stuff. They’ll take as long as you enjoy because they already have half your funds, and understand that they will find another half.

Our stuff eventually has delivered and at least 10 items are broken (such as valuables purchased in foreign nations and heirlooms). I phoned them and they said I would need to submit a claim via a third party and WOULD ONLY GET 60 CENTS PER POUND!! PLUS YOU Don’t Have Any CLAIM in the Event That You PACKED YOUR OWN STUFF!!! Boxes had holes in them, tape removed, furniture scraped. THE BOXES LOOKED LIKE THEY KICKED THEM DOWN THE HIGHWAY FROM FLORIDA TO CALIFORNIA.

I’VE NEVER BEEN SO DISGUSTED WITH A COMPANY IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM THIS COMPANY!

    Rip off, absolute crooks!!

Don’t use this business, they’re a rip off, hidden fees, boxes and gas charges because of what they state is much more cubic feet than anticipated. The moment we requested to cancel the contract that they took the deposit in your credit card (we’ve since secured ). They refused to get our household products in the truck informing my wife it had been prohibited and we had a contract. They increased the price from 2325.00 to over 4600 bucks in 4 hours. I’m in Afghanistan serving my nation and will come home to an empty apartment in Tennessee.

Sky moving and storage are criminals! Do not use!

Sky storage & moving are specialist rip-off artists. I can’t think what happened to me personally, so please read carefully and avoid this provider. I originally contacted them since the centre was quite near my speech in Florida. I phoned and got a quotation on the telephone. I recorded all of stock items and estimated the amount of boxes that would be full of the packaging procedure, like I needed packing too. I got a quotation of $1750 for your door to door service including packaging, all supplies required for packaging, lift charge (I lived in a high rise condo), all! I was somewhat surprised by the minimal cost but was quite thorough with all the stock list. On the afternoon of this move, the guys arrived on time and took a peek at my items. He began doing some calculations on a contract and, when completed, maintained that I had more things than suggested in the quotation and that the cost would go up. In addition, he started to add things such as the”Long walk” into the elevator that was approximately 50 feet from my door. I was becoming nervous and started feeling uncomfortable, but I permitted him to complete. After he was done, his calculation revealed $2150, that was $400 more than the initial quote. He proceeded to describe that this can be a binding contract and no matter prospective circumstances if I signed up, he couldn’t transcend this cost. Inside my mind, this amount sounded similar to what I initially anticipated, so that I signed. The transfer then proceeded to begin functioning, leaving the signed paperwork from the kitchen. They were friendly during the afternoon, though the one that did the paperwork was always on the telephone rather than working almost as hard as another, leading to 6.5 hours to pack the truck onto a 1000 sq ft one bedroom condominium (sort of long). As they were finishing the last few trips down the elevator, the inspector said that he just wanted me to sign the last paperwork and they’d be accomplished. Well, guess what? Sometime during the afternoon, he included a line item for”Packing supplies” about the paperwork and hand composed a 6 on the 1, leading to a $500 difference in the so-called”Binding” contract. The man shifted the record with my touch – fraud!! So, needless to say, I contested that this paperwork, along with his explanation was that he left a”Calculation error”. I said no way, also called his organization and obtained David, the so-called proprietor on the telephone. This man began to back up the move stating it was a very simple calculation mistake. I was irate at this stage exclaiming that I signed for $2150 and that is exactly what I’d be paying, not $2650. The”Owner” David flat out told me that he would possess the movers unload all of my possessions in the road! It had been raining and I had a trip back into nm first the following morning, and of course that my rent was up daily. So I was essentially extorted for $500 at a deceptive scam. I had no option, pay the money or be stuck onto the road, from the rain, along with my possessions on the floor!!!!!! I’ve not ever experienced anything similar to that and expect never to encounter it again. I’m in the hospitality business and have transferred a whole lot, and never believed something like this could occur. Do yourself a favor and don’t affiliate yourself with this corporation. They’re criminals!

    Worst movers EVER!

To start with they stated they were planning to send us a 26 foot truck. When they came they attracted a 24 foot truck which was already a third of the way complete with someone else’s substance. I advised them that there wasn’t any way that our stuff will fit on such a truck. They kept saying”Oh no issue, we’ll get it around there…”
We’d sent them a really comprehensive collection of items that they were planning to be transferring. They had the listing together. However, their leader maintained asking, is that going? I’d answer yes, that’s going. A couple of minutes later he’d ask, is that moving? I would respond yes, it’s on the record you’ve got along with you. A couple of minutes later he’d inquire, What about that, is it moving? I eventually answered; I do not understand what portion of proceeding you do not get… All of this stuff is moving! I’m moving! That’s what we hired you men for, to move our things out of this home to a different one. They got some blankets out, and tape and boxes out of their truck. Among the movers told that the boss that they had to get more out, but the chief said that they had more than sufficient. They started loading the vehicle and burying the remainder of their blankets and tape and boxes at the rear of the vehicle. Half way through the loading of their vehicle, they ran from boxes, tape and blankets and have been asking us whether we had some, I told them that no… which is the reason why we hired movers and paid for packaging material that’s currently buried on the rear of the truck and you can not access to. The movers were outside at the parking lot yelling at one another and arguing with each other many times. It took two times more to load the truck as though it might have if they’d simply sent a vacant 26 ft truck. They needed to attempt to strategically put each thing on the vehicle and determine where it may match. The very last movers I utilized,” two guys and a truck”, were lovely. They had the truck packed in under two weeks. Sky moving took almost half an hour. They weren’t able to find all of our things onto the vehicle. After we arrived in the new home, they simply dumped the vast majority of our things from the garage. They did not put up us and unpack us just like that they have been supposed to. They simply dumped everything from the garage. Then their boss had the guts to request a hint! I advised him, first of all you did not move all of our things. I finally have to go rent a vehicle and return and find the rest of it. You chose three times more than you need to have. You literally piled our stuff in your truck without protection or blankets, I’ve already noticed scratches on a few of the furniture which you dumped from the garage. You need to be from your brain if you feel you are or deserve obtaining a hint from us. The boss even had the guts to call back another day begging for cash. I informed him that he was lucky we did not persue a law suit. The absolute worst going experience I’ve ever had in my entire life!

Sky Moving and Storage was Great

I am glad I utilized Sky Moving & Storage to transfer my house throughout town. We wanted two 6 and trucks movers to deal with this in 1 day that I worked together with Kim and she had been a great manager. I appreciated most the simple fact that I hired Sky Moving onto a referral and all that they promised in both their advertisements and above the telephone was just as anticipated. Their group was really fast and seasoned. The foreman maintained the work together smoothly and was really comfortable to use. The trucks were very large and gave a great first impression for my new location being tidy and in good shape. Not a single thing was ruined. The price was inside the quote. Overall, I could not have had a much better experience.

    Very Unsatifactory Movers

The initial quotation was 1056.00. I paid off a 209.00 deposit. Upon pickup I had been advised that there could be repacking fees for example 250.00 such as repacking loose things and 100.00 for a 50cc scooter. Ok, I had been unwilling but moved with it since I’d previously paid the residue and wished to receive my items back to me asap.

Following the delivery required a few weeks and as soon as the delivery did happen – whew – that which I noticed when they started the truck. My items have been in a heap in the center of this truck. My 50cc scooter, so which I paid an additional 100.00 to get, was putting on its side towards the remainder of my possessions.

I gave the motorist a second 600.00 money before they drifted – Oh, also that I needed to assist them.

As we unloaded the vehicle I had been Looking for my precious possesions, an HP Compaq Presario CQ60-220US Notebook Computer along with also my Docking Station for the HP TC1100 Tablet PC. Even unto the previous parcel of home no pc or computer docking station. Gone!

Besides the drop of my Deskjet plotter stands lost too, my plotter appears as though it’s damaged also.

My microwave appears as though it were lost along with my refridgerator drawers busted.

The tail light in my scooter is broken also.

The motorist or passenger – that I dont know that, requested me to cover the rest 585.00 so that they might be in their way. I informed them I wouldn’t cover anything more until I discovered my notebook. He showed no issue that my house was lost. He just wanted compensated. I refused to cover a project bare. He also called the regional police and they arrived and reasoned that it was a civil issue.

The movers abandoned without even giving me a reception for your 600.00 I paid them. They will likely deny that I gave it to them.

Oh yeah, in my search I discovered a few boxes along with a breifcase which didn,t belong to me personally. The movers also gave me a few ladders which didnt fit to me and once I informed them they weren’t mine they said and laughed”They’re now, haha,” Merry Christmas.”

After looking my items on three different times I still find no laptop etc.. . I’ve been through all of my boxes without a move. They’re gone.

I’ve called the company a few times to find no reply. The unhappy reality is that they don’t care about their clients loses. They just need to have that cash, and everything they could get off with.

Do not use this business if you would like your home to make it through safely.

WORST EVER MOVING EXPERIENCE !! WORST COMPANY EVER ! DONT BE FOOLED !

Dont ever get cheated by this provider. I had a dreadful experience. My sales person was Natalie. She speaks for you like she actually cares and recall she talks to you just until you create a payment. You can’t reach her with no way then. She’d force you to feel that she actually cares for your own possessions. However, nobody at the business does. Here my narrative.

I talked to Natalie and obtained a quotation for 1900 for the transfer from Tennessee to California. I had been guaranteed particular dates. I had been advised that my items will probably be picked up by Dec 17th and sent to Dec 27th. I had been in a rush as my spouse was already in her third trimester. I talked to many different businesses but rejected them just because they explained that they would deliver a couple of days late.I additionally paid my deposit for auto moving.

After verifying with Natalie many times which they would certainly not have problems transferring the vehicle through the Xmas holidays, I compensated for the deposit to your vehicle. My home stuff was to be picked up on 17th and automobile to Dec 26th.

Two men came on 17th. One had been Alex from Atlanta. They didn’t bring China boxes because I had been promised and that I compensated for. They didn’t bring bed covers and I compensated for this also. He arrived and lent 300 more. I had no other choice as I needed to move daily. So nothing as promised. We supported with him a few times regarding the shipping date. .and he had been silent. I sent all of my things through me and him and my spouse were left with few matters. She wasnt doing this well within her pregnancy.

I received the actual image of the business on 24th december if nobody called me to the auto move. I couldn’t leave the vehicle alone and it needed to be transferred prior to my trip. I called a couple times, most of these had been in office, an individual would pickup and could inform another isn’t there. This occurred the Entire day until later
Several tries I have hold of David that the operator. He talked thus rudely and his words weren’t perfect. He didnt even care a little and was crying. I said to him that my spouse isn’t doing great and it isn’t fine on their role which they are backing on which they promised. He requested me’when she had been perishing’. He said I bet one
May not locate a another firm to maneuver. Fortunately I have hold of an extremely pleasant movers exactly the exact same moment and they sent my car at 7 days! .

Once I contacted California,I kept waiting to get my personal own stuff. I’d phone the office many times, nobody would pick up, nobody would reply. Natalie, David, Kim were all on holiday but would reply if you phone from another number. My spouse had sleepless nights. Our cost moved up, we had been staying at a hotel and eating outside. She wasn’t well. We had been requested to speak to Alex, the dispatcher. He explained after 3-4 weeks which our belongings were nonetheless in Atlanta, another nation, approximately 3 hours away from where I sent my belongings. Alex never reacted clearly. David/Joe stated when we continue asking about our items, they’d continue hanging onto the telephone. He even told me that he was planning to reduce my telephone. He said if I must speak to him, I must hear what he states otherwise he’ll hang up. When I once transferred to telephone to my spouse, David or even Joe advised me to act as a guy. Would you think this? They speak for this clients. I wanted my own stuff to be published so I can start looking for a few decent movers. They wouldnt discharge my things either. Eventually after about 38 times I received my things. Furnitures busted. New matterress ripped. Missing things. And I needed to pay additional $300 into the motorist. The sole breeze in the whole narrative was that the driver. He did a great job of constructing the furniture but sadly he doesn’t belong to the business.

Therefore, If you choose their solutions, you’ll have broken furniture, sleepless nights, then no hint about your items as well as also the WORST EVER customer support on the planet!! BE AWARE ! The whole business is really a cheat and Never ever go by the reviews on another website. All of them seem forged!

    CONTEMPLATING CLASS ACTION SUIT!

I’ve had among the worst encounters with Sky Moving along with their BELOW unsatifactoy services. My spouse and I used this business to receive our items from South Carolina to California involving 5/10/12-5/15/12. In the start I talked to rep Diane about all of our shifting installment, stock, etc and obtained a quote complete. Well, that complete increased over the day the movers came into my house (No hidden prices?) .
And of course , I drove my car cross country on the day of pickup so that I felt they ought to have delivered my items to the new place in 5-10 days, no this was not the situation. I talked with Dave, David, Lisa, Beverly and it appeared just like I was speaking to same individual, just creating ficticious names so that I will not have the ability to receive quality responses. I am frustrated with this business, I have spoke with the Better Business Bureau to understand that Sy moving and Storage is a”Grade F” Company.
I’m apaulled and feel taken advantage of if I browse common-like testimonials about Sky Transferring’s professionalism, solutions. I’m contemplating ferociously carrying this business to court. Please don’t allow Sky Moving or some other firm intimidate you in realizing you rights as a client.

    STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS

We had been going from Florida to our first new house and we’re really excited about what we believed was a good thing.  And Sky Moving stated they would get us all our things at 3-4 business days (multiple occasions ).
When they revealed, ” said we had more things than we mentioned on the web so the costs went up astronomically.  What do you do, we likely did not report it correctly, we heard the lesson which you must always have somebody come do a quote (that a fantastic firm would provide to perform ).  This is not even a part of my criticism together.  The men packed up the vehicle, the Agency said 3-4 business days, since the man we spoke to on the telephone needed.  He even said he personally was producing the trip (and it was not him in our second home ).
Fast-forward per week.  We’re sleeping on air beds, it’s already been 5 business days and we now don’t have any stuff or just a telephone call.  We call them and rarely is there even a”dispatcher” at the workplace, but if we do accomplish one, he states he’s the truck falling off a delivery on Monday and it will be there by Tuesday, Wednesday at the latest.  We did not get our things for the following 3 months, and correspondence using their dreadful, lying office employees was minimal at best.  But again, our contract stated in tiny small print that they had around 21 business days, therefore that I still haven’t even begun my criticism.
We get our things unloaded.  The men chip a coffee table and an armoire in their way into and even though I watch them perform it, they stated it had been just like this and approximately 15 minutes after create the”official document” which has been signed upon delivery for their warehouse which states those two particular things (and people just ) were ruined, even though there was real minor scratches in a number of those other furniture already which weren’t in their own report.  Then as they are leaving, we understand that our brand-new set of pans and pots have been gone.  They say that they don’t have anything to do with this and they depart, stating I need to phone the office to make claims.
I try to get a week to phone their workplace and their manager/dispatcher/etc have consistently”just stepped out” and will phone me backagain. I finally give up and write a scathing google review about them.  The first thing in the morning, I phone back and guess what, the man is at the office today.  He immediately gets to the phone, asks exactly what I need and when I inform him that his guys lost (I did not even accuse them of stealing however ) my pans and pots , he states that he is not going to even search for them till I shoot down my google inspection.  I was so outraged that I hung him up.  I received my composure (along with a cassette recorder) and listed the entire thing on tape of him saying he will not”out me before I help him out”.  I received a modest smart-assed together with him and inquired whether it was company policy to commit prohibited acts of extortion if their workers steal something out of the client.  He said that I was filled with [EDIT] (also on tape) and we all argued for a little bit.  At one stage I even apologized and took down the inspection (b/c actually, all I needed was that the pans and pans).  He said he would look into it but of course never return to me and that I simply could not bear phoning them back.
I did, but keep the google breakdown for some time, since I was actually scared of them understanding where I reside, this provider is so dishonest.  The movers that they ship out are very unprofessional, dishonest men and women.  They whispered about our materials in Spanish a good deal, they lie on your face and then they steal their things.  Moreover, they cite by cubic feet, and that I had out a calculator, multiplied the measurements of a box which were composed on the box, and it came out to 6 cubic feet, which was while I watched him write down 10 cubic feet for this.  Its a joke of a business, do not ever expect them along with your belongings if you enjoy your things.

    NEVER USE THIS COMPANY (SCAM)

I had been quoted $3300, compensated $677 to pickup my things on April 26, 2012. The movers came and like a lot of others that have written a critique, delivered a truck which would not match all of my items. Throughout the center of packaging they offered aprox $8700. I had no option because I had an final on the home the very next morning. They ended packaging what they could departing the remainder of my items from the garage. It was now about 12am midnight. They lead mover compared to calls that the proprietor David and he informs him my total will be $11,500.00 and when I did not agree he’d take it all off the vehicle. I was supposed to cover them and extra $1330 until they abandoned and David needed more. With this stage I’d had enough and told him”wasn’t!” Now I did not feel comfortable using the movement but I felt that I had no option. They had been to continue to keep my items one month totally free, which could be May 26, 2012. Lisa kept hounding me throught the start of May for extra cash. I than tell them I would cover the balance by the agreed upon date for shipping. I paid my balance in full by June 4, 2012 by direct deposit according to Lisa through text into my mobile phone. I consented since the deposit has been later than May 26, 2012 that was consented. I’d think these folks would subsequently delivery my items. They did not! I predict over and above and no Response for months. I eventually get my initial contract and then predict the 877# and a person replies (Jessica). I clarify that I’ve never heard from anybody concerning my shipping and that she tells me to email (Diane). I’ve still to the season (Aug 5, 2012) obtained an answer. I’ve talked with Daivd who stated he had been on holiday with Lisa and that he would not return before July 6, 2012 and that I would not receive my delivery before than. I was in the local police dept in palm beach county using a deputy, that attempted to cause David. I filed a police report at that moment. Obviously July 6, 2012, I receive a call from David who whined and stated my delivery will be in my house on July 8, 2012, and No Display, No Phone. I have gone into thier physical speech with Broward County Police and Sky Moving & Storage Inc does not work from the speech. I predict David to fulfill up with the authorities and that I there and that he showed up 40 mins afterwards only to inform us this company is not in business which I owe him much more money. For this very day Ive had a couple telephone to Lisa who proceeds to play games together and won’t delivery my items. I’ve registered a claim by Florida’s Dept. of Agriculture, who’s currently performing an investigation on the provider. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH COMPANY! They’re CRIMINALS!

    Horrible

Do not ever use this firm. They had been a day late, after I’d already left the nation. It took over a month for shipping and when I’d call I might not get a straight answer on shipping. When it eventually arrived they could not get within 500 or all ft of my door so would not unload until I moved and obtained money, despite the fact that there was just 1 driver so that my husband did over half of the job of overhauling. Really I need to pay additional for all of us to perform the job?? My desk has been missing from the shipping so that they estimated it at $102 (well under value). I got two tests for that sum, both bounced. UNBELIEVABLE!!   I was not reimbursed. This was a few years but I still may legally pursue. I haven’t been so disappointed in a organization.

Business was Greatest Taxes of America with great reviews. Overall BS because it had been really Sky Moving and Storage. Lied about what!! Everytime we predicted they said that they did not understand where there motorists were and were so rude and hung up on us! They outsource the job but stated they didn’t. Lie! 2 1/2 weeks late! Broke virtually everything (although matters had been wrapped in blankets! ) ) And dropped boxes! Had a girl from San Francisco telephone me since she had been awarded one of my boxes which had my brothers diplomas, etc. inside!! The cost isn’t worth the hassle and there’s absolutely not any way to receive your cash back. We carried the television and other quite delicate items and could have dropped those too if we hadn’t. CONSUMER WARNING!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

CONSUMER WARNING! PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

When a NEGATIVE evaluation were possible, I’d select it. I began working with this business in ancient Feb 2020. They DID NOT provide on their solutions and have because NOT paid my $1,800. They had me jump through hoops to complete paperwork and get them notarized just to get SOME of the cash back.

THEY SAID that I OWE THEM $600 to allow these to do NOTHING. It is currently 24June, plus they still haven’t processed my own refund or granted any upgrade.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

Look at each of the 1-star evaluations, and examine them with caution. Everything was good before the afternoon of the dispatch. They did not even appear, however they did call me stating they won’t send my ONE thing unless I paid a charge of $5,430 to get a”dedicated truck”. I refused and proceeded together with ANOTHER business.

I’m a veteran, and also they did not care.

I’m a fellow small business owner, and they did not care. ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS GETTING AND KEEPING AS MUCH OF YOUR MONEY AS THEY CAN!

    STAY AWAY!

    PLEASE PAUSE and Keep Away!!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!

Here are the folks I had the displeasure of working with David (proprietor ), Fernando S and George. They’ll provide you THE RUNAROUND. DO NOT TRUST THEM. GO WITH ANOTHER COMPANY.

If you have been a victim of the business, I suggest filing a complaint using the FL Attorney General’s office. Here is the connection:

Terrible Customer Service, False Representation...Stay Away!!

This isn’t a legitimate business and when I could have given two stars I would have. I scheduled a transfer on July 6th for August 1st along with the sister firm, and viewing various information that made me worried to have our things moved by these I called to cancel and ask for a refund. The”supervisor” I talked to was really rude and unprofessional, saying in a snarky way that I apparently did not read the contract since I had send a email to cancel. In addition, he proceeded to raise his voice and talk over me because I tried to describe why I’m cancelling and did not deny some of the things which I mentioned about the firms they have (Sky Enforcement, Best Movers Inc, Greatest Taxes of America etc) along with the postings together.

We’re a military family and also therefore are going because of my husbands job, it’s really a disgrace which they wouldn’t refund our deposit. No services have been rendered and the firm misrepresented themselves and falsely advertised themselves as a A rated firm about the BBB, additionally getting 5 stars evaluations from clients. Since you can see from other reviews here which isn’t the situation. I have had no significant problems as this along with different movers and we’ve moved several times over time because of my husbands job at the Military. Be warned and select more or less every other movers and are much more positive experience than that I am sure. DO NOT deliver a Zelle payment on the proprietor too, not certain why I believed at that time this has been a standard practice. Though it’s part of the contract, it’s highly uncommon to send payment for a business such a way by sending on to the person who’s the business owner they state.

I’ve registered a complaint with the BBB, and when needed will be submitting a claim with my lawyer if I’m not able to solve the problem and get a refund in this fashion.
