These guys rock. They wrapped all my possessions and moved twice as fast as the two men and truck business that has been transferring my neighbors home. Im really happy I used these men. I would strongly suggest them at Georgia.

    Don't EVER Use Them!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. We proceeded in AZ to SC. We wrapped & boxed all our things anyhow Guru BR furniture, formal DR, formal LRM. Everything WE boxed created it. I had a dialogue with the young guy about a tiny antique table which has been a favorite of mine and requested him to wrap it nicely and require particular attention. I saw him walk from the home with it.That table never arrived and they refused that they had it. They hadn’t any one else’s furniture in the vehicle. They never covered my DR desk (I’ve got photographs of all damaged furniture) also it had fix to the tune of $900 (only for the dining table ). They did not understand how to wrap the grandfather clock. My husband supplied lean laminate to place along with this blanketed glass however they never covered the shirt that was damaged. The intricate feet in my curio cabinet were never coated and got ruined. I’d the furniture repair individual mend all of the damages. I will not move on but there was more damaged. It still makes me ill. I attempted to talk with the proprietor Lance Clausen to absolutely no avail. He resides in CA.I do not believe he was even told from the Phoenix office which I wished to talk with him personally. However, their assignment of”honesty, ethics, and vigilantly protecting client’s possessions” is a LIE.
Although I had a charge for those repairs totaled around $1k, they’d just pay $363.
    Only DON’T EVER USE THEM!!
Skinny Wimp doesn’t number and record every single product. I believe just by not numbering and record what, Skinny Wimp could eliminate denying something was in the truck, like my own classic table.

    DON’T Utilize SKINNY WIMP!

Skinny Wimp Moving Company Damaged Goods

I’m writing this review for the 83 year-old mother-in-law. This is a dreadful moving firm. My mother-in-law had damages to her private property, a costly Hi-Wheel line trimmer went lost and seems to have been stolen, along with the movers proceeded her in 2 weeks, not 1 day according to the moving contract.

My mother-in-law hired Skinny Wimp Movers of 6090 Crater Lake Ave/Central Point, Medford, Oregon on Apr. 16, 2018 for her shifting project on April 28, 2018 out of Grants Pass Oregon into White City Oregon. The moving company supplied a two-man team, also one which remained about three hours.

Skinny Wimp Movers didn’t finish the move in 1 afternoon as contracted. The movers didn’t have a large enough truck to transfer all of her belongings in 1 excursion per her contract, her one day moving excursion turned into a two day moving excursion. She was likely to be from their home that day, due to the she needed to arrange to remain a day longer in the old home with all the house owners due to Skinny Wimp Movers program. The movers showed up another day to finish the move.

Skinny Wimp Movers provided no apparel boxes. They sent a guy to the U Haul Dealer and bought three boxes, which was inadequate. She needed to ask her neighbors to help maneuver the remainder of her clothes to the new home utilizing garbage bags.

Skinny Wimp Movers utilized her dining room table for a work station with no consent, and without having any protective covering. They scratched her wooden dining room table at the procedure.

My mother-in-law especially asked that three pieces of gear be abandoned at her first house, they were being given to the new owners by her as part of their house sale. The movers place among those 3 parts of gear, her pricey expert fashion Hi-Wheel line trimmer worth $400 or more, at the moving van and it had been pushed for her new home in White City, Oregon. She informed the team that the line trimmer required to be returned to her first home on April 29, the next day of this 1 day move.

The Hi-Wheel line trimmer wasn’t delivered back to her first home and she hasn’t seen it since. She considers this product was stolen out of her at the procedure for this move.

My mother-in-law delivered two letters on May 16 and May 20 2018 into the moving firm seeking recompense for damages to her possessions, payment to the lost line trimmer, and inadequate support, and as of yet she hasn’t got a reply. She sent further letters and still has not got a response.

She wouldn’t suggest this moving business because of their lack of business and inadequate support.

    Dishonest and unreliable!

I dont think I might have gone with a WORSE company. I made the error of employing this business since they were supplying a groupon. My purpose of hiring a moving business was supposed to transport a kitchen filled with cabinets and two quite large granite island shirts in the house of somebody who had been remodeling, to ours, roughly a hour off. I had been confident at the time of scheduling that the granite could pose no difficulty in any way. I also emphasized the value of these coming on time, because we just had a little window where the owner of the house would have the ability to fulfill us. We even went as far as to phone twice the dawn of, to be certain they were still running on time! The timing of this appointment came and went along with the scrawny wimps were nowhere to be discovered, and they handily stopped answering their mobile phone! The owner of the house was kind enough to let us remain, although she needed to depart. Nearly two hours after they finally answered the telephone, simply to notify us it’d still be a couple more hours until they are there. To make a long story short, they did finally arrive, 7 HOURS LATE! As though this was not bad enough, then they took one look at the granite and stated”we arent moving that”, and then proceeded to load each of the cabinets in the darkened because the sun had long since set and there wasn’t any power to the home since it had been remodeled. Once completed loading the cupboards, they moved to shut the truck up, only to discover their elevator battery was dead! The owner really had the gall to ask my spouse to hook her up hybrid into the truck to attempt and power the elevator on the trunk! In a bid to shorten the story, it had been nearly 10 PM at this time along with the children where outside tired. We abandoned, assuming they’d figure out something and provide the cabinets another morning as promised. We discovered afterwards that they just drove the truck out of Draper west coast together with the back open and our closets piled up into the very back! The cabinets were finally delivered WELL beyond the time promised and we found that no moving blankets were utilized to shield them, many were scraped badly (recall they were all stacked in there in the dark and after a lengthy day), and a couple of drawers were broken completely. We’re missing an whole cupboard! We all know it dropped out during the driveway the evening before! Once we thought the ordeal was completed, we discovered afterwards that Lisa, the owner of the company, billed us for the time she had been stuck in the home using a busted down truck (how was that our fault). I tried phoning the scrawny wimp corporate office to complain and begin an insurance claim for the damaged cabinets and was immediately told that Lisa possessed the franchise and may do exactly what she desires. She’s never responded , or returned one call because that second afternoon, and I cant even get a claim started! It has been the worst experience I could imagine! Our once beautiful cabinets are now scratched and ruined and we’ve absolutely no recourse other than to take her to court! Do yourself a favor and go with a different organization. ANY other company! The corporate office could not be bothered to help! College Hunks ended up transferring the granite to get us no problem! I wish we’d gone together in the beginning!

    Do not buy Groupon!

Don’t purchase this firm’s Groupon. They’ll cost you $130 to get a coming fee. The 175 2 hour Groupon becomes 305. There are far better bargains on the market with better support.

    Book at your own risk

I reserved a moment with those movers later locating a Groupon. I had an extremely little one bedroom apartment’s worth of furniture to both mover only a few blocks down the road; a movement which, at best, should take no more than two hours. On Friday afternoon , the movers showed two hours late. I had been known as 30 minutes prior to the scheduled arrival time to verify the movers were led my way, but they didn’t arrive at 2.5 hours after (two hours after my scheduled period was supposed to start ). Nobody told me they’d be late and nobody could be attained at the overall workplace until 1 hour after the movers were supposed to arrive. I had been abandoned to an hour thinking I maybe reserved a service which has been a scam without a drivers were arriving, although this didn’t prove to be the circumstance. I finally reached the office supervisor who informed me that sometimes these things just happen and nothing else could be done to fix the circumstance. If contemplating these movers, then please just keep in mine, then this support wasn’t worth the price tag. Partially since the movers were overdue; partly because when I called the office to deal with my criticism with this, I got small consideration; also partly because I reserved this support viewing it cost exactly the identical speed as or slightly more costly than other moving solutions (I reserved it thinking I’d be receiving improved movers). Rather I obtained sub-par client support and overdue movers.

SKINNY WIMP IS THE WORST! PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU HIRE THEM

I hired Skinny Wimp that will assist me go into a new residence in Ventura County, CA. I paid for a single truck and a team of 3 employees. They’re supposed to appear in 1000’m on a Saturday. They weren’t able to appear on time since their truck broke down. As soon as I talked with their workplace, they were not able to inform me together with any certainty when somebody would appear. During the next few of hours, I sat about waiting on them. From 130 pm, then I was fed up and wanted to know when they’d arrive. I had been provided a promise that they’d be in my house in 230 pm. They didn’t create it. They eventually showed up in 300 pm, fIVE hours afterwards than they had been presumed to be present. Since they showed up so late in the afternoon, we’re unable to finish the move. They needed to return the following day, that was a Sunday and happened to become my own daughter’s 16th birthday.
I expected these to appear first item on Sunday so that we can finish the movement and I could devote some time observing my son’s birthday. This didn’t occur. Yet more, I sat about waiting for hours before they eventually showed up about 245 pm. Although I’d paid to get a team of 3, just two men showed up.
Obviously , I was quite disappointed and upset about this adventure. I had been told from the office on Sunday that the supervisor will call me first thing on Monday to deal with my issues. I waited all day on Monday and never got a telephone. So, I called the office again on Tuesday and talked with a manager. He had been concerted and apologized, however once I wanted to talk with his manager, I had been advised that he had been outside of this country and too busy to talk with mepersonally.
The manager asked what they can do to make me more happy. I advised them that I believed that I deserved a reduction to how I were treated. They provided me a measly $50, once I’d paid them around $1,200, for that I received horrible support. I’ll NEVER, EVER USE SKINNNY WIMP AGAIN. The direction at this organization is horrible. They can care less about clients. The men who really came out and helped me proceed were so wonderful. I was planning to record their names here in order to give them charge but I don’t want their names to be wrongly connected to the dreadful work accomplished by management. The movers were so friendly and did a terrific job. I’d hire them again in one moment.
However, like I said, I won’t ever utilize Skinny Wimp ever again and I cannot recommend them to anybody who’s considering moving and wants to hire a mover. Due to THEIR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, I SPENT A TOTAL OF 10 HOURS SITTING AROUND WAITING TO MOVE, AND WORST OF ALL, I MISSED BY DAUGHTER’S 16TH BIRTHDAY PARTY.

    Terrible customer service

We had versatility in re-scheduling our movement and after each 2 weeks to fasten our residue. The previous time, there wasn’t any confirmation telephone along with the movers revealed. We had been charged the entire amount of the transfer. I called to reschedule plus they desired TO CHARGE AN ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT. I had been placed on hold ahead of the 24 hour interval finished, then advised that this was the coverage after keeping me on hold past the period in which the deposit could be scheduled. Quite annoying and bothersome. I had been forced to feel as though I’d done anything wrong. I had been giving them the benefit of the doubt after hearing terrible things in their timelines as well as maintenance. Neve make that error again. I believe Yelp has compensated testimonials. Nobody could be content with this location.

CAUSED $15,000-$20,000 DAMAGE TO HOME!! REFUSED TO GIVE INSURANCE INFO

Located a inexpensive groupon for transferring services & purchased. The movers showed up 5 hours late (in 5PM!) And began shifting. I had been moving everything into storage device for a few weeks. Apparently Cameron (the owner) didn’t turn off water to washer. While detaching the doorway , they flooded the whole residence. Every one of the flooring in the house are destroyed and my furniture and belongings soaked! Cameron advised me to go to Home Depot and purchase a blower to dry the flooring! I asked him a few occasions for his insurance info, as we had to find a professional aid for your water damage. He wouldn’t give me the info. The timber flooring began to bubble and buckle by following morning. The carpeting in the bedrooms were saturated too. We spent 2.5 hours trying to clean the water up! And, needless to say the storage device was now closed. They had to maintain my possessions in the vehicle overnight & delivered into the storage facility at the morning. After sending my possessions to the storage device, Cameron (the owner) had the audacity to tell me that I owed him an additional $125 for the hour that they needed to return from the am and send my possessions!! I advised him that I should not need to pay anything since we spent 2.5 hours attempting to decrease the damage from the flooding that he caused. Cameron continued to text and call me at least 20 occasions for my credit card info. He refused to offer any insurance advice until I paid the $125. So, I paid it! HE STILL HAS NOT GIVEN ME HIS INSURANCE INFORMATION!!! We’re speaking $15,000-$20,000 damage to residence! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

BUYER BEWARE - OUT OF STATE COMPANY!

That is a California firm with no bodily places in Florida. Jackson and Vashaud showed up late and unprepared. I captured them multiple times standing around in their mobile phones down by their own truck. They didn’t bring the essential gear and promised that they had no record of this petition.

The bankrupt my 60″ plasma TV by shedding it. Neither inspector would require responsibility for falling and said that it has to have altered in the vehicle that was a lie. Taylor Shade the region manager came into my home after I demanded that they halt the movement before anything else has been ruined. When Taylor
Arrived, he took one look at the TV and said,”Yeah, so they clearly dropped it.” In addition they scratched numerous parts of furniture as of not correctly wrap them in blankets before moving.

They took eight hours to maneuver a 1 bedroom flat from Harbour Island into Channelside. This very simple move ought to have obtained three hours at most if the movers had come ready and worked the entire time. When Taylor Color the supervisor watched the whole sum moved he explained,”Just how did this movement take ten hours?”

Lance T Clauson that the person who owns the firm refused to compensate me for some of the harm and whined in his answer to my criticism registered with the Better Business Bureau. That is definitely not a business working in good faith and surely not a business I’d anticipate.

    Great Experience

My spouse and I utilized Skinny Wimp Transferring to go out of a 5 bedroom home In Chandler into a 5 bedroom at Scottsdale and could not be more happy. The men made sure we had all we can possibly ask for. All of the men seemed to be pros at what they have been doing and literally hurried back to the home from the truck in between taking things daily. Would suggest to anybody.
