Lately hired Select Van to transfer my belongings to my recently constructed home. We transferred in West Des Moines, IA into Southern California.  Our initial touch was Chris Johnson at the WDM workplace of Select Van.  Chris was tremendously helpful, from describing the bidding process to even helping with the last packing.  Driver Herman came on time and required control – a great thing since we hadn’t any idea what we were performing.  He delivered our possessions on program and kept us updated about which program could be.  In our destination, unloader Perry Hernandez went over and beyond to ensure that everything has been unloaded correctly and reassembled.

Short story: My shipment was a week late and damaged.Longer narrative: They packaged and picked up my dispatch in mid November. Shipping was place for a week after. I had been advised I had to be there to take the dispatch or I’d incur additional storage fees. I flew out to ensure that I had been there on the very first possible shipping date and was advised the morning of the the shipment wouldn’t arrive before a week and a half afterwards. Turns out they understood that the shipment could not get delivered on time until they’d picked up it but had failed to inform me. Though I had been in the destination my possessions were still in a warehouse at the coming city. They knew that after that  my belongings were on the truck onto a truck I could not do anything and that I had to cover so as to have the truck unloaded after it did arrive.
When it had been unloaed it was apparent my shipment was loaded and unloaded multiple occasions enroute. In that process plenty of wooden items were ruined, scraped, etc.. This was likely because of the fact they did not have a driver once they loaded my cargo and needed to load and unload it in the trucks into the warehouse and rear several times.DO yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague. Grabel quoted greater but that I regret not going together. Between the holiday I burnt, airplane tickets I purchased, and nights at the resort Mayflower price me 5k longer in time and cash. Not certain how to market anxiety but likely the 2nd most stressful period in my entire life.
