    SeaPort Moving and Storage Experience

We were amazed from the very beginning with SeaPort.   It began with all the Relocation Specialist, Windy Jenkings, who in the very first contact to the final was educated, professional and straight ahead.   My Range of the company was also based on a competitive bid procedure that made them stand out.   The moving employees caring for loading our family things did so very carefully and meticulously making them the very best shifting folks my spouse and I have ever experienced – and we’ve been relocated seven days.   If we should ever again need to relocate this really is the only moving business for us.

    Wonderful moving experience!

I’ve moved a good deal through time, including the army and this was really the best moving experience that I ever had from start to end! Windy Jenkins was kind, compassionate, friendly and beneficial. This is a tricky move for several reasons, such as merchandise from our deceased mother and son. These items are in storage for a while and we really love the understanding, patience and care which Windy revealed to people. The motorist kept in close communication with us and now we’re so thankful for all of it!

I had been blessed to discover this company online!

    thanks!

    Excellent service

Out of all of the companies I spoke to, I had been sold instantly when I spoke to Windy. I understood that my transfer was in great hands. She worked tirelessly to maneuver ME, not merely receive a truck beneath my stuff. Everyone with the business was professional and considerate. They delivered exactly what they promised for the cost they offered, which was considerably more reasonable compared to the competition. I would strongly suggest the Seaport team.

    Avoid Seaport

The loading and packaging went nicely but other ending was a tragedy.  Driver came late and needed to await labour business to send employees.  These employees only remained for a couple hours since they’d already worked a complete day.  About 5p Seaport submitted an advertisement on CRAIGSLIST!!!! To get unloaders.  This is just ASKING for offenders to react!  Plus they did.
Seaport did not appear in ID to confirm names or receive record of speech or expertise.  They essentially encouraged offenders into our house.  At approximately 9p among those employees vanished — left without even saying goodbye.  All of us commented on how insert that has been.  At midnight once I went to find money to trick the inspector who needed to depart, I discovered my wallet gone.  I predicted credit card firms and he’d already used the cards on the internet and had tried to use them several times in a gasoline station, mini exchange places.
Police came and obtained testimony in the 4 people , took fingerprints etc..   But not followed up — maybe not”important” enough.
That I am aware of, the burglar took pocket, movie camera, 3 headlamps.
But this wasn’t the worst area.  I had been the victim of a crime, and also what exactly did Seaport do?  They treated me just like a criminal.  Never insisted for hiring off a burglar craigslistrather than reimbursed, never chased finding the burglar (which would have been easy because the petrol station needed 20 cameras). Lied about not completing the movement.
I understand that lots of people formulate thefts and damage in a movement — but I’m none of these.  I had the testimony of another 3 movers concerning the burglar’s time of birth, time of sudden departure, that I never left the home at that time that the credit cards were being used, etc..  However Seaport’s answer was, in character,”Prove it or we do not need to do anything.”
They insinuated that even if I could prove I never left the home, that I could have had an accomplice!!!   ABSURD. And just plain horrible of these.   When I had an accomplice, would not I’ve given him/her the safety code along with my zip code therefore that the accomplice could successfully use the cards?  Bear in mind, the burglar was not able to utilize the cards except at one online website.
I tried repeatedly to find the authorities to look at the tapes in the petrol station — but because the charge card firms refunded the money that he chose, the offense did not fulfill the minimal bar for the authorities to devote some time on it.  So I had no way to”prove it.” Additionally, because Seaport had hired such a guy without amassing any ID — I’d no contact information to contribute to the authorities.
However, the proof was overwhelming — that there wasn’t any solution that I stole my own credit cards and forced these fees!  I have never left the home.  However, Seaport utilized the”prove it” to avoid taking responsibility for their massive mistake.  Shameful.  They ought to’ve stepped up and admitted their error in hiring from craigslist, not amassing ID, enticing criminals into my house (with 3 little children there also ).  And they should have done all they can to make it all right.
Rather , they punished the sufferer to avoid having to acknowledge their error.
So, what was my transfer adventure?  They showed up hours late, hired on a criminal, unloaded from the dark since they came so late, and I spent two hours with the authorities, spent hours that night on the phone cancelling cards (hours and hours and hours during the upcoming few weeks substituting licenses, cards, etc.) then the motorist and that I lasted unloading (after midnight), motorist needed to depart to sleep and that I had been left with an unfinished movement in 5 am in the morning — no sleeping and three children to treat and operate in two hours.
I can not envision a worst movement experience.

Good group to use. There were strategy changes because we moved because of the heaps, but the group was elastic and we anticipate working together.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I WAS LIED TO ABOUT QOUTE, THEY DEMANDED ADDITIONAL MONEY AT DELIVERY, BROKE NUMEROUS ITEMS, TV STOLEN/MISSING, RUDE, EXTREMELY RUDE DRIVER AND STAFF, ASSAULTED BY DRIVER, NO RESOLUTION!!!! NO RETURN CALL, STILL MISSING TV!!! NO REIMBURSMENT FOR DAMAGED ITEMS. (Have written/signed announcements of occasions, too Video of attack )
I used this firm for my move in May 2017. I Moved from Oregon to Missouri. I had been told from the Rep Amiee that there could just be an extra $150 fee for anything which wasn’t a single degree shipping address. This wasn’t true upon delivery of thing. The driver denied unload one thing with no additional fee cash. In addition, he said that he couldn’t back up to the pier which each additional shipping truck used and wanted an extra fee for it. It had been just one thing after the next, this team was exceptionally rude and untrue. I have utilized long distance movers before and have not experienced anything similar to this. I took images of this motorist backed up and attached to the loading dock in my own building, although he said he couldn’t and desired extra fees for it. The motorist physically assaulted my dad that was video recorded. Among the movers that the sole professional one and only one which didn’t look under the effect of some form of material, advised me and my spouse that the manager of this transfer was intending on retaining some things which were still around the truck. I used him to please get those things, he wound up telling the individual in charge that the things on the vehicle still needed unloaded and we had been anticipating them (that we’ve got the written/ signed announcements in the inspector regarding this episode ). I really feel in my view that is the way one of our apartment screen TVs came up lost, which can be clearly recorded on the stock sheet. After all this happened we talked with the director Angie, she didn’t think anything we mentioned and requested for the movies concerning the attack, which I delivered while on the telephone with her and she also promised to find the lost TV and follow us up. While on the telephone she affirmed that she obtained the movie, then said she’d review the movie and call us right back. No reply, so I phoned the following day to talk with her regarding those difficulties. The manager George said”Don’t call us anymore and to speak to our attorney.” and he kept repeating himself. I requested then who’s your institution’s attorney that he responded”find yourself out,” he then hung up. I have never seen anything like this in my whole life. I understand that the business after viewing the movie has to fear of litigation, I am presuming this is the reason why they refuse to speak to people. All I desired was at least an apology, so the enterprise to try to find my lost things, and also be reimbursed (at minimal partly ) for the broken items. To this very day I haven’t got a return phone and do not anticipate one for this stage. USE ANY OTHER COMPANY FOR MOVING, DO NOT USE THIS ONE!!!! This provider is very unprofessional, disorganized, and obviously lacks customer support and management abilities.

    Movers

I would recommend this provider. In my first conversation with them directly on through the afternoon of the transfer, they were quite beneficial. The quotation was great, keeping in mind weights are estimates. The movers were somewhat late because of having to find a rental truck since they were so occupied, however, the movers were so amazing, really hard working and had been quick. No complaints for me.

    Moved a disabled family 8/26/18

So I read a lot of testimonials, and this is the way my movement went this weekend. 8/26/18 was transfer day. I received a telephone call from dispatch stating there was an problem using our truck and they had to come back Sunday. On Sunday 3 lovely Lithuanian men showed up, loaded the truck and we were away to our new residence. They even took into consideration I’m handicapped and they abandon me in my seat and loaded it last so that I could get in the van and proceed with my loved ones. The employees were friendly and funny, and they knew precisely what they were doing. They’d apparently worked together for quite a while and you might tell. We got into the new location and they unloaded everything flawlessly as we requested. There was off the issue being a day late, but the office staff were fantastic and they took good care of our loved ones as if we were their loved ones. They even gave us a discount to the problem. Thank you Seaport for treating us like family and putting us to our new house, while standing by your businesses reputation.
