The move went pretty well Though the disappointment is putting in more and more every day.They dropped a number of those boxes. The largest problem is that the driver called and said they could not buy a 53′ truck at our new house and they’d need to perform the”shuttle” item which was obviously $850.00 additional. What would we do?   We wanted our things… therefore we compensated. They set the stuff at a smaller truck and introduced it in. (Is this whenever the boxes went missing?) In any case… because we have been here, I have seen ATLAS, UNITED, BUDD along with other carriers with 53′ trailers and big sleeper cabs pull right in.  (See the images ) WTH??   Better drivers?   Or perhaps the 850 goes directly to the shipping group’s pocket? And now that I am asking them questions SCOUT MOVING aka CASCADE Relocation is giving us the run around…  In summary have additional money ready for your”black mail” oops I suggest that the truck will not match!!!

I moved from San Francisco to Chicago and has been supplied a quotation.   I even provided a VIDEO that people walked through TOGETHER on the telephone and somehow my invoice after my things were packed on the truck jumped 1000 due to the”space.”   I wonder why this is….hmm….while unpacking I’d things such as a PLASTIC SHOT GLASS wrapped as though it had been prepared to enter space.   And do not fall to the”full service” line. . .they drop off your boxes and bond town like their homes are on fire.SCAM!   I must have utilized Mayflower!!!!!   I’m planning to report this particular company to the BBB.

Don’t use this provider! Stay Away! I transferred a little apartment out of Oregon into Maryland. Weight was less than minimum 2,000pounds and lent $1700. The difficulty came after the motorist, Dwight, known as the day prior to delivery to notify me that a semi wouldn’t fit in my brand new apartment building loading dock. This would cost an extra $300 to lease another truck which was smaller and may easily browse the loading region. I have photographs of his semi automatic clearing the ceiling and sides of dock however he explained it could not be carried out. All this simply to bill me an additional $300 that should be compensated in money! When he made to find the more compact truck yet another semi endorsed in forced their sofa delivery and made in 15 minutes. (Sheesh! I wish he remained to reveal Dwight how it is done). Dwight subsequently told me that my door was too much in the lift (more than 100 feet ) so that has been an extra $200. (It is really 69.7 ft ) I measured later ) He refused to unload the vehicle before he obtained the money in full. In the ending of the delivery he explained I must complete a questionnaire. I advised him I wouldn’t take action today and could forward to business after, he raised his voice and stated no fill outside today facing me. I was fearful and alone for this guy in my flat. I rated him poor and showed him out. Unbelievably intimidating, extortion mafia approaches and clearly taking benefit to’legitimately’ mug one woman that he felt he can powerful arm.

Worst moving encounter ever. They gave a three hour pickup window rather than advised when they’d come – until 1 hour until they called to say we’re coming. Was in this rush left without even taking all of things in the stock list; additionally had packed a few things which were not at the listing and extorted additional cash to unload these products. We utilized Budget Van Lines as a broker and they contracted Scout on us. Our transfer out of Seattle to Arizona went really nicely. They were quite efficient and considerate picking up their furniture. We did all of our packaging except for some items they packaged and did a very great job with.
Shipping in Arizona also functioned well.

But has been solved. The office explained the truck was still in Seattle in 14 days following pickup but then it showed up a day after. Overall it went well and they have been superb polite and friendly at all times.

Ive observed the negative reviews but our experience has been great. As had been the cost.

I truly doubt if a lot of those 5 stars testimonials for this business are actual.

If I could give less than one star I’d Same experience as the other boxers. I contracted by Trans-United (just as poor ) who contracted with Scout Moving. In accordance with Trans-United they belong under the same”umbrella” as Scout but Scout states they are not affiliated. Overall bait and switch. Charged us over $300 over anticipated and then stopped taking my calls once I contested the amount. Told them they’re pretty much hauling my things hostage because if I did not make the last payment they would not send and then I would need to pay storage and extra fees. I understood once I left the last payment I would not ever receive a refund.

They started off with an extremely fair quotation about $2,400 and then less than 1 week before my transfer they increased the quotation at $800 and threatened to cancel the transfer. Upon pickup they waited till most of my possessions were packed to ONCE AGAIN increase the quotation by greater than $500. Every one of these fees for packaging stuff was not brought up till later they did this. Initially I was promised a delivery window of only two to three months, however unsurprisingly that shifted and it took them near fourteen days. After they had my things and my cash Tom my sales rep ceased taking my telephone calls around when will my possessions be transferred. When he answered the telephone or responded to a message he would push me off to a different department that would not answer their cell phone.

Upon shipping they once more attempted to need $300 in money to unload my belongings at the top of all of the additional fees. I cautioned them that a semi wouldn’t fit in my road many times from the days resulting in the delivery, but I dismissed them. UNBELIEVEABLE THIS COMPANY IS STILL IN BUSINESS. TOM JORDON SMOOTH AS BUTTER AT START OF ESTIMATE AND PROCESS AND COULD CARE LESS AFTER MOVE AND DAMAGE. SHOULD HAVE DONE MY HOMEWORK AND CHECKED REVIEWS, HAD TO MOVE FAST AND MOVING STRESSFUL ENOUGH, THOUGHT I HAD CHOSEN A DECENT COMPANY. WHEN MOVERS DELIVERED, ONE WAS SO APPALLED BY CONDITION OF MY ITEMS HE GAVE ME HIS PHONE NUMBER AND SAID HE WOULD BE WILLING TO TESTIFY Concerning the DAMAGE, HE COULDN’T EVEN BELIEVE IT AND HE’S IN the Company.
