Sargent’s Moving

After agreeing to a date and a price tag, Greg Sargent advised us the day prior to the scheduled movement that they were double booked. He explained”guess that you will only need to write that check to somebody else”….no apology. . .no “sorry”…

Locals had warned us about not with this specific business. . .but the transfer was just 3 bits….three home down….thought we provide them a chance because they were neighborhood….what could possibly go wrong?? …??

BTW: Called company 50 miles away….they do it in 2 days in a price BELOW Sarent’s…??

Truck with trailer was overdue and when attempting to back trailer around my house that a”branch jumped out” and Gregg believed it’d busted a light onto the trailer. Then he drove round the front yard leaving tremendous ruts in the bud. He promised me that it would be okay after the winter months. Because he was already late that I expected that was the situation allow it to go.
When he’d first came to offer me a quote I had told him I needed him to package the art job, two or three lamps and also the grandfather clock and I’d pack every thing else. When he came for the movement he’d not attracted ANY packaging stuff in any respect. He ended up with furniture pads to wrap them all in. He did NOT apply pads onto the furniture itself and each bit of a 5 segment wall unit was ruined; a few bits severely along with also the cherry hardwood headboard was seriously scraped. I last saw the pendulum of the clock pushed into garbage may and haven’t had the guts to bring it from the storage device to check at it.
Moving out of the storage device to a apt doesn’t occur until after this month or two I’d attach photos today. He requested to provide the furniture per day early which was possible so that I consented but that might be impossible for everybody. Gregg did create a price adjustment due to the harm. He mindset turned from great to evil and back again through out both the loading and unloading. I utilized Gregg since he’d transferred me successfully on a former movement in VT.. I Wouldn’t recommend him to get the out of state transfer.
