    Apologies to Royal Relocation

Our apologies and thanks to the determined and persistent personnel of”Royal Relocation” at Tarzana, California because of his or her patience and continuing support.
Following our move, we found that a valuable bit of classic furniture was exactly what we believed,”lost forever.” My Wife and I had been definitely angry and probably not overly understanding during our petition to”Royal Relocation.” They convencingly ensured us that they can and might find our missing thing and send it to us. They invited us to be patient and they’d do their own job.
Their meticulous efforts and persistence of finding our missing furniture actually payed off. Several weeks after our missing furniture showed up at our doorstep! “Royal Relocation really came through as promised.” We can not thank them enough for their own understanding, patience and dedication in helping people get through this ordeal. “Thanks Royal Relocation” and please except our sincere apologies.

    GREAT SERVICE FAST DELIVERY!

This is a movement worth discussing. Igor and Bill P came punctually, greeted me by name, introduced themselves and immediately got to use. Not only are they attentive, efficient and fast but also very nice. I loved the reality that if they were not sure about something, they phoned me to test. They also closely wrapped a number of things to reduce harm.

Can a transfer be worry free and enjoyable? This one definitely was.

Please save yourself from what we experienced

PLEASE READ! Any favorable reviews on this business must be from workers themselves. They’re directly lies!! My family has moved across state multiple times and this was the very first time that our expertise was soo inexcusable. Unprofessional is a understatement! To start with of the choice was 8 hours late. Then our”quote” by Sam and the true price was 1500.00 more! The pick up men were nice enough to state it beforehand even though they are taught to load each of materials first and then state the true price. Rationale for this is that they bill you time spent and a 400 unload fee if you opt not to move since you don’t like or cant afford the revised price. Second, we had a particular window we had our things delivered and were advised it’d not be any issue. I even went a step farther and predicted the day that the shipment was to be triggered to make sure we had been on track. The afternoon I had been anticipating a 48 hour notice for delivery was actually a call saying that my shipment was being triggered! They never even sent it for shipping following the additional efforts I chose to ensure we were on program! Our products came over a week late. Third, my sons guitar has been lost/stolen and our apartment display was totally busted. We must submit a claim that takes around 90 days and that I guarantee they took their candy [EDIT] time, even once the claim has been believed they provided us a settlement of 180.00 that is .60 percent on damaged or lost items! They don’t consider replacement worth ONLY weight! Our main TV is gone and they somehow think 180 justifies it. 180 wont even replace my sons guitar! I am quite upset with this business, I typically would not write a critique but they simply keep getting worse. Our whole experience became soo negative I don’t understand how Ill ever opt for a moving company again.

    STAY AWAY

To start with, the sales man of this firm wasn’t fair. The quote he stated he gave me comprised everything along with the weight limitation was 1500 pounds. However, when another group of this firm came to pick my things up I had been told that the weight didn’t matter in any way. The fee has been based on the quantity that I took. I packed my things and weighted everything to be certain that they weren’t over 1500 pounds; I left many things behind and didn’t pack a number of the box closely. This has been upsetting already. Then my price is nearly double as was quoted since they additionally added gratuities and some sort of fee throughout the pickup. Also they simply want money and bank checks on the two ends.
3 times ahead of the deliver afternoon of asked and guaranteed verbally the firm called me and informed me it was likely to be 4 to 10 weeks late. I already booked my flight ticket and didn’t wish to pay penalty of modification. I stuck at the destination town for 4 more nights. The sole luck of the entire matter was a friend of mine helped me outside town to make my life somewhat better.
Another bizarre thing was that the provider is located in Brooklyn, New York but they do not wish to utilize”718″ region code. Rather they use”201″ that is New Jersey code. When I inquired why the pickup man said 718 wasn’t reputable!!! . Go figure that out.
I shall never/ever use this provider again, even THEY PAY me.
Hopefully you understand my lesson and seek the services of an honest firm.

    Textbook Thief

Becareful of all”John” (it is really Josh) Grimaldi. He’s a real con artist and a plain old burglar. I was planning to utilize the man to do the transferring job for my dad’s home, but the trouble began since the minute I must know him. He’s got a severe gambling problem and I happen position met him in Vegas. Apparently he had been there for months and I must know him for the weekend I had been there. I lended him some cash and he never ended up paying me backagain. Though this was true I was still planning on with him, believing I could regain my money by making him take out the money that he made me by the moving invoice. My dad’s home had lots of custom made wood furniture which could be redeemed and he unnecessarly composed a story of a man he understood that copes in consignments/buyouts for individuals moving. Apparently the man that I called just does East Coast moves and has been perplexed as to why Josh would urge him when Josh ought to understand that he does not work with individuals moving in California. This was when I chose to not use him since that meant either he doesn’t understand what he was doing or he’s simply full of lies. Additionally, at that time in Vegas he admittedly told me that his customers were becoming worried about him not doing the tasks because he wasn’t responding to them since he had been too busy with gaming. After that conclusion, I kept trying to get him to receive my cash back and to get the few times he actually responded back into my own messages that he always appeared more interested in if my dad was going to proceed and when I was planning to use him. My continuous contacts finally led us into a debate with vibrant words and accusations, which directed me to give up. It has been months and of course that he still has not paid me back. In accordance with each of the prior reviews, his profile within an informational personality is well based. For Those that are already working together with him and with a Challenging time calling him once you’ve paid, this really is his private mobile phone:  818-277-5095

    Very Unsatisfied Customer

Additionally, I had a very poor situation for this organization and so are disappointed in myself for not doing my homework on those idiots. I reviewed each of the aforementioned testimonials and they’re all consistent with that which I experienced just worse. They gave me an estimate for a cross country move. As soon as they loaded all my possessions on the automobile the cost suddenly doubled. Sound familiar. The Office Manager, even if you would like to call her that’s the rudest boss I’ve ever encountered. Give ultimatums, threatens to maintain your possessions hostage. She’s confrontational. I reported her to the operator and he explained that she’d be fired. Turns out that she’s a comparative (Owners Wife). In case the term nighmare means anything to you whatsoever”Stay as far away from such people as you can” They stole my brothers new mobile phone (However in the box rather than triggered ) and then attempted to inform me that I was a liar. Ends up I phoned AT&T and they stated the mobile phone was actuated that day and it had been triggered by a mobile tower at Encino, California. That is really where Royal Relocations headquarters are everywhere. I reported this on them and that they proceeded to knock out me. When my possessions came they were all broken up. Glass tables busted. Legs broken off sofas. Dishes shattered. They even attempted to place things in my home that didnt even belong to me personally. I informed them about it and they didnt care. I wound up kicking them from my home to the day of shipping together with my furnature still onto the truck. It was that bad. Listen to what your testimonials inform you and you’ll save yourself a good deal of hardship and agony. Its simply not worthwhile. Its more amazing that these folks continue to be in business.

This is the worst experience I've ever had. A total scam.

“South Coast Van Lines” aka “Royal Relocation”

You must think of new business names when enough men and women discuss what a despicable business that you run.

-5 celebrities. -all of the stars from the skies.

This is undeniably the most dreadful experience I have ever had. The absolute worst business you can ever dream about doing business with.

After the movers showed up that they moved through, looked at all, identified some additional fees (small ), and then started working. If they got through approximately 45 minutes I had been advised that my quotation was about to move from $2,600 to $4,580 due to a few furniture wrap I did not look after myself. It wasn’t mentioned ahead, and that I felt really worried if I did not consent with it, but I left it 100% clear that I refused to pay a cent more for any extra cost which they may potentially develop. The man said that under no circumstance could I be billed for anything else too.

It has been two weeks and firstly, the business practically never answers the telephone if I do not call out of another quantity compared to my own. I am now being told that I need to spend $100 to get a COI that I advised them upfront was demanded by my construction. The COI costs them absolutely nothing to get from their insurance carrier. Additionally, I needed them to incorporate the shuttle expenses or possible extra fees in my initial quote, but today I am being told I want to cover an extra shuttle fee since the one from the quotation was”just for pickup”. I’ve an extremely clear email list of this quotation and me which makes it apparent to this rep (Kim) that I wanted people charges contained in stated quotation.

The man who called me now (out of a DIFFERENT moving business ) explained that if I did not need to cover all of it, I was not likely to receive my things. I clarified my first quote and that he said he did not care, and the next thing he said has been”Well, would you like all of your things or not? We could leave it to the road for you whether you would like that” and then it had been”that you may get your own truck and just come pick it up in a storage device in another country.” The shuttle estimate that they initially gave me was 200, and today it’s magically $670 when I would like to have my own things delivered.

Kim said that it had been South Coast Van Lines that managed everything. She was not accessible and honest about the fact that they were a broker.

Do not be duped by Kim for a single second. She was fantastic when we first spoke and that she swore to me that they had been an honest and reliable moving company. Joke’s on me for thinking her.

No thought that”Katia” is, however, she is the rudest and most dishonest individual I have dealt with during this entire fiasco. “READ YOUR CONTRACT!” “IT’S IN YOUR CONTRACT!” — yeah, well, F**K YOUR CONTRACT, Katia. I didn’t consent to use a scam artist within my contract.

I have already registered complaints with the BBB and also the FSCMA. I will be filing a police record soon simply to guard myself. I really don’t know whether they understand this or not, but extortion is prohibited. Bribery is prohibited. Threatening folks and telling them that they will continue to keep your items is ILLEGAL.

I’d have been better off taking my possessions from California to New York.

Do yourself a favor and do not even consider using this organization. I will be publishing reviews on each site I could find.

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

This company is absolutely THE WORST moving firm I have ever hired! My transfer was offered at $2100.00. Royal relocations was assume pick up my items involving 30 AUG and one SEPT.. They did not appear till two SEPT the day that I had been going out of CA. I was just suppose to cover $1,100 daily but my transfer abruptly increased to $5200.00. I didn’t have that many products. The mover Ben shouted at me the whole time that he had been in my own house required I leave him and his employees alone in my flat to have the money order. He’d my 11yr old girl in tears. The sole reason I jumped with the movement is since our flight was leaving that evening. After I came to MD I called J &J Moore the firm that booked me with those individuals. I clarified to Gabby how dreadful I had been treated and that I had sound of Ben crying and threatening to carry off my things his tuck. She explained she’d get to the base of it and ask paper work to determine why I was being charged so far. After fourteen days of phoning her she still never got my paperwork, I’d zero replies regarding where my items were. The shipment at imperial relocations IRENA is also of no assistance. She’s cried, threated mepersonally, rather than gave me advice concerning where my possessions were. I’ve got over 30 recorded calls for this girl crying and lying. Eventually after a month of waiting I receive a phone that my items would be sent 10/6/18. 32 DAYS AFTER PICK UP!!!! I called the police to get them there with me since that provider is FRAUDULENT and absolutely harmful. The driver immediately demanded that I give him $2,775 before allowing me see my items! Thank god my boyfriend along with also the officers were there since they needed I visit my items before I give them a dime. After he started the vehicle devastation is the only way I could explain how I felt. My items were thrown into that truck HORRIBLY. Fragile boxes turned into the wrong way, my brand-new mattress was broken. They place my California king mind board along with the horizontal screen tvs! All of my things were brand new! I just got from the army and started over new. They ruined everything. I refused to pay them another dime and Irena (Dispatch) was LIVID! She started calling my phone yelling at me and THE POLCE! She explained because I did not cover the $2775 equilibrium that my items are on its way back to CA to be auctioned off. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!!!! PLEASE BEWARE!!!!!! I’ll do everything in my ability to get them out of company. I reported them to BBB which they are not even BBB licensed. I’ve got a police record and a lawyer. Irena believes she’s above the law. Luckily I’m a fighter and I wont stop until I get what is mine!!!

    Bad experience like everyone else

I had been billed $1700.00 and ended up paying close to $4000.00 to receive my things here. They were overdue (3 months in my new location with not one of my possessions ), that witch at the workplace was EXTREMELY rude, with profanity and threatening me on the telephone. I haven’t received such dreadful support. . .if you can even call it that. I felt as though I had been raped.

THEN, I get my things and images have been brokenup, furniture broken and also a set of Coach sunglasses overlooking. I would not recommend this firm to my worst enemy.

I wouldn’t recommend this business to anybody. The cost had been tripled to exactly what they anticipated. However, the oddest part was so many of my things were lost. Particularly all of my dads tools which aren’t replaceable. Brand-new Bathroom items (never Employed ). After filed a whine has been spoke to with filthy language. Should you worship your possessions I wouldn’t employ this business at all.Never received some reimbursement for some of my lost things which were prized and priceless. My Dad passed away and now all of his tools and a number of other items are gone that were worth a great deal of cash.

Royal Relocation Systems Cross Country Move

Open Letter to Royal Relocation Systems:

    To Whom It May Concern:

I’m writing you concerning my latest encounter with Royal Moving and Storage since the harm done to my possessions was equally abysmal and irreparable. Your business was hired by Verizon Van Lines, who sadly never suggested that they would be hiring a third party to transfer my possessions. Dealing with your workers, I had been in continuous shock in the awful way where everything was handled. Plus it was with tears in my eyes which I unpacked my belongings in Portland simply to locate household heirlooms and items that I spent weeks of hard labour to save up and purchase, completely destroyed. It’d have been equally good for me to have taken everything to some skip prior to departing New York and toss it out; the movers handled what I cherish with all my heart as they were crap.

The despair and humiliation I believed to have thought that your firm would do as it preaches -“Keep a 100% Commitment to Quality” – was overpowering. I wrote the title of a single down plumber – Igor M******** of Brooklyn, New York – that did a specially random job and was unbelievably rude to me. I’ve written reviews about Twitter, Facebook, Google, on line moving forums and contacted by the United States Better Business Bureau. I also have ensured nobody that I know will ever use your services again, unfortunate for you personally contemplating I have heaps of friends from faculty moving from the east into the west shore in the next a couple of decades.

The employees who boxed my things (Igor and staff ) did a worse job than I myself could have done and left snide, amazingly offensive and improper comments the whole time. 1 such remark was when I discovered Igor throwing my items into a box. I pleaded with him to”Please be cautious since they’re quite breakable,” to which he responded”Do not worry, we will only split them” and laughed. I presumed he was making a (bad) joke, but obviously he had been serious. I rest at night just understanding there’s justice in this world and that’s karma. Although I request you to wonder that which you use, it’s those movers which confront impacts either in their own futures on this ground, or outside.

My possessions also came well beyond the”Guaranteed Arrival Date” of July 14, 2011, rather arriving on July 27th, 2011, almost fourteen days. I state came lightly since it was much more complex that it should happen to be and while I believed Igor was disrespectful, the inspector that drove my things across state was even more insolent. Despite having a statement in writing confirming my transfer comprised”Door to Door Service (Loading & UnLoading)”, the movers parked more than two kilometers away from my house and refused to send my possessions. The path to my home is readily passable and huge trucks traveling on it every day. It’s, in actuality, among those bigger through streets in Portland, Oregon, so the Agency’s lack of compliance in carrying this street is unforgivable. Should you utilize Googlemaps to see the street or get any town official, they will tell you big trucks may take this street; Mayflower delivered all of my grandparent’s possessions to our house in a sizable semi-truck just a couple of short years back.

I haven’t been so dissatisfied with a service or much more disappointed in a business in my whole life. Ordinarily, I’m pleased to be a reside in this nation, but this experience made me wonder just how such a business or group of people may be used and eliminate it. I am hoping that they go to sleep embarrassed. For your own company, I advise that you take under account that the”private PR” you’re doing on your own by supplying such services that are dreadful. I’ll be submitting this letter on the internet and making sure it shows up if people search your business with a significant search engine. Happily , I have friends at both Google and Facebook to help make sure this will be carried out in an efficient and prompt manner.

I anticipate hardly any monetary compensation for those tens of thousands of damages incurred inside this movement as you cover just 60 cents per pound. I’ve already felt the breach and anguish of getting my possessions destroyed and in this stage cash is a moot point. I find it quite probable you won’t even respond to my correspondence as you’ve proven a very clear disinterest on your clients, though I propose reevaluating this perspective since in America clients are cared for.

Your company will certainly fail if you continue down this path.

    Regards.

The movement has been less than 1 mile. We agreed upon the purchase price. The men came and they intentionally delayed, carrying their own time to control additional. They ruined few items, like chair legs etc.. And attempted to conceal it. They believed me to provide 30 percent trick, which had been a great deal due to their filthy job. That I needed to offer. They aren’t in any way professional.

    Long-distance move from New York
    Major rip off

Because of circumstances beyond my control I had been made to relocate from NY to Florida. While Looking for a moving firm I stumbled upon Royal Relocation Systems located in Brooklyn NY. I researched them throughout the Better Business website and discovered they had been in great standings and hadn’t any bad reports, or so I believed. I had a guy who represented himself because the firm treasure return to my house to perform a binding quote for me. After he came he asked me exactly what was within my budget for my own move. I explained to him that I had become jobless and my son at Florida was sick and that I just had $1500.00 to use. Additionally, I told him that I had been thinking about renting a massive U-haul and performing the transfer myself in case the price was to high another manner. Now he started going from room to room, opening cabinets ect, and making his own record. When he was finished we sat right down and he said, well I really do believe we could be of support to you and fit well in your financial plan. He gave me a binding quote for $1501.00 He was also a really kind and apparently sincere gentleman. Later he left I took out each of the other quotes I obtained, assessed them and forced my choice to employ Royal Relocation Systems. The afternoon of the movement started with a guy knocking at my door and telling me that he was out of Royal and that we had to do a little bit of paperwork before them really loading the truck, but promised me it had been strictly a gimmick. He put many pages of paperwork before me and asked me to sign them. Now this newspaper work was totally blank at the moment, but he said that it had been the identical paperwork I’d already signed together with the revenue guy it was only going to function as backup and that they would fill it out since the transfer improved. It was to include lists of my possessions ect. Any way following the truck was totally affluent and my car was packed and that I was prepared to vacate the premises, the foreman introduced me with a statement which today was over double what my binding quote was. I asked him about it and he answered that he had nothing to do with all the money aspect and that I would need to talk with my company (Paul). When he gave me some particular cost then he had been convinced it’d be respected. Well of course Paul was nowhere to be discovered and 4 days after he eventually returned my telephone once I was in route to Florida. After moving back and forth with him for months about all of this I was eventually told when I didn’t think of the extra $1700.00 that I wouldn’t be visiting my possessions. At this point what option did I really have. I’d contacted the business directly without needing any telephone calls back and the only man that would ever talk to me was that this salesman, even Paul. Not only did they threaten to maintain my possessions hostage, when my items did arrive a few things were broken and a few things were lost. Again I called the company to submit a reduction in their insurer and never found a thing back from them. This entire experience was a total nightmare to not mention a massive financial burden which may take me weeks to recuperate from. Beware, never rely on them and warn friends and family.

    Ripped off

They chose me and raised the invoice. Additionally they haven’t delivered my things because of yet was assumed to be 7-10 days. It’s currently 30 times and no email, no telephone and not return my calls. They’ve told me that it was likely to become 3400. It had been over 4600 and advised me to cover or it’d head to storage until I had the cash. Can I compensated the P and now am awaiting delivery. My 3 young kids are around the ground nearly homeless and they do not care. Therefore don’t utilize them. Protect yourselves.

    Long-distance move from New York
    Royally Ripped Off!

Contacted VP. John Grimaldi on 6/16/2010. He also assurred me that he can pick up the movement 6/24/2010 & send it to Florida from 6/28/2010. They were supposed to pick up between 10am- 11am, also revealed at 1:30pm. Number was presumed to be $940.00- that John had emailed me on a binding quote. The pickup man had my child fill out paperwork that is sterile, which the motorist afterwards stuffed in erroneslously. He over charged us $280.00. My husband and son pointed it out to the driver- and he said we’d recieve a fixed Bill of Lading if they reloaded the merchandise 6/25/2010. I phoned John several occasions and was eventually able to convince him to email me a copy of the right Binding Estimate of Cost. I advised John to ensure that the motorist had the proper fresh Binding Estimate of Price, and he promised me he’d look after it. I even called the motorist twice to ensure that he had the appropriate info, and he explained he did. However, when they sent the furniture on July 5th, 7:00pm,(Several days after then assured ) the motorist refused to honor it- even though I got John Grimaldi on the telephone to speak to the shipping man. The delivery guy said he never heard of John Grimaldi- and that is when I discovered that they utilize subcontractors for their own moves. Assess their USDOT permit # 1815073,( only google USDOT) and they just have a single lincensed truck! The Ft. Lauderdale police could not think the driver did not understand who he worked for. The motorist subsequently hung up the telephone on me & refused to send the furniture unless my son paid the overcharge of $280.00.

    Long-distance move from California

    Long-distance move from Connecticut
    WORST SCAM COMPANY EVER!

It has become the WORST experience of my entire life! Right now, Royal won’t return telephone calls and I suppose they’re holding my merchandise hostage. They were designed to send now between 11 am and 1 pm and there’s been no phone call without a calling of telephone calls. Nobody has arrived.
The first quotation was for 111 bits at $2389. We had a total of 217 bits, but still somehow the quotation was so grossly off that our total was 7300!!! (One might assume it would double in the maximum, totaling $4700, maybe not $7300! ) )
Besides that, the movers had been unprofessional, cluttered, and hurried everything to the purpose of breaking a few of my items, denying others, carrying the wrong items, etc..
Here’s a listing of everything which has gone wrong thus far:
-The movers whined their own instruments, therefore had to utilize mine.
-The movers whined that the sticks for the apparel items and dangling clothing, and so my classic dresses, for that I care dearly and have accumulated for 15 decades, are stacked up in the bottom of the cabinet box. Another hanging items belonging to my fiance are now hanging in my vehicle, so that they wouldn’t get ruined.
-A bit of invaluable art was granted for me to transfer in my car since the movers were fearful it might get busted. Is not this exactly what I hired them for?
-My bicycle was dropped in my solar lighting exterior, breaking up the solar lighting and likely scratching my bicycle. (photograph taken with camera phone)
-My walls have been gouged in 2 areas, 1 scrape over 18 inches long
-My hardwood flooring (just 3 years old) was deeply scratched, roughly 12 inches long
-The movers abandoned the egregious level of THEIR trash strewn about not just my own home, however, the garage, the driveway, along with the lawn. I asked them to please sweep up their multitude of cigarette butts, which they just half did. I have photographs of another cigarette butts nevertheless left behind. Plenty of moving crap, including about 20 vacant tape rolls, and many half – complete rolls, all around the home, amongst other items.
-The movers did not eat the lunch that they asked, which I compensated for. They left the dinner and java garbage (that I paid for!) Strewn on the garage and lawn.
-The movers broke off a piece of the bookcase, which I afterwards discovered missing from the garage. I immediately gave them to them, reminding them it had been a part of the bookcase, also wants to go with this!
-Among many movers tripped over a box in the kitchen, spilling the contents of this box along with a bathtub of peppercorn seeds all around the area (a security hazard, for people along with my kitty ). He left it and did nothing to wash this up.
-The movers intimidated me to some hint, which I wasn’t warned about. I said I’d bought them coffee and lunch, but they just stared at me and waited, mutely, before I moved upstairs to make them cash. A girl alone with 3 guys staring at her, awaiting cash isn’t advisable, nor can it be professional. I had been and am really taken aback. They didn’t deserve a suggestion, however I believed I needed to sacrifice one.
-They missed a few items I particularly asked for them to accept. They were comparatively small and wouldn’t have decided, but were just ignored.
-They shot several items I specifically requested for them NOT to shoot, such as: my cushions, my overnight bag (!!) , my sewing items (I said I’d package them), my sneakers, etc. ).
-At one stage they packaged my handbag and needed to go into the boxes to locate it
-Random CD’s were dumped over the ground and scraped. I’d find them all around the home, and hand them to the movers, or even set them in a heap to become packed.
-I discovered among my study tapes intentionally left behind on the ground. It ought to have gone with the others.
-The packaging was usually slapdash and hurried. Movers displayed a complete disregard for your own possessions and I am anticipating many matters to be damaged or defeated.
-Frank maintained on Wednesday that he would personally come to my home to the move. He didn’t.
-Frank guaranteed on the telephone to ship 4 movers. Just 3 came.
-Frank explained, and it’s been in my own calendar because the initial quotation, that the movement would occur BOTH Thursday and Friday. On Wednesday I had been advised that they would just be there Thursday, inducing much hurry from the transfer.
-I had been guaranteed that a stress-free move. It was definitely not.

The business consented to take my charge card, and have already charged half of the transfer on it. Now due to whining, they’re saying that they will just accept cash or postal money order unless I subtract all of my rights to whine by registering up a bunk’authorization kind’, before delivery!
Steer clear of this fraudulent business, no matter what you do! They certainly low-ball to acquire your enterprise, then jack up the cost ridiculously, after assuring you they obtained a precise quote in the telephone call alone, with no trip. They refuse to acknowledge or react to complaints or do anything else about it.
And some of you who’ve had this experience, I recommend you to whine of the DOT, as I have done, so that this will not occur to anybody else.

    Long-distance move from New York
Dishonest and Unethical- They don't honor their contracts- Do Not Use!

I think that it is extremely possible that the Royal Relocation Systems is just running a scam by using unethical and deceitful practices for people to utilize them, and then increasing their costs on the afternoon of the move since they understand that the majority of individuals are not flexible in their own transferring dates and will not have any option but to go together. The best case scenario is that the provider employs salesmen that aren’t able to deliver precise estimates, and then won’t stand from the contracts created with these salesmen.

I’m a young, single girl who should go from New York to Chicago. I phoned Royal Relocation Systems to Request a quote. Paul came into my house, made a list list of what I had been going, and gave me a quote of $1,100 when a shuttle wasn’t needed within my drop off place and $1,225 when it had been. (Stairs and packaging materials included)

I told Paul that I’d heard tales of people having quotations changed on them at the center of a movement and I was very worried about this and didn’t need any surprises. He promised me numerous occasions that we had been signing up a valid, binding contract; and provided that I did not include anything to the transfer which wasn’t already on the stock list he left, the quoted cost wouldn’t change.

For my packaging stuff, Paul promised to deliver me 30 boxes along with 3 wardrobe boxes in which to pack my items. He said he’d bring the boxes that the on Thursday of the next week (July 22), which might give me a few weeks to package.

He didn’t reveal on 3 different occasions when we advised me he’d bring them, and would not answer his mobile phone. He finally showed up on Saturday, but he only had 13 boxes without a clothing boxes. After more not showing up rather than answering his telephone, he attracted 1 more apparel box on Wednesday. He explained that another two wardrobe boxes could be delivered to the day of this transfer and I’d only need to package them afterward. And if I had any more small boxes, then the movers could have those also.

On the afternoon of this transfer (July 29), 3 movers arrived and I showed them my contract to ensure we were on precisely the exact same page. They understood nothing about my stock record and refused to honor the contract I’d signed together with Paul. They also did not know I was still awaiting two wardrobe boxes to package. I had nothing more than what was in my initial inventory list, however they stated that the total would be $1,900 rather than $1,100 and $2,200 rather than $1,225 when a shuttle was needed. They attempted 3 times to begin loading before telling me exactly what the new cost would be. I believe they were only hoping to receive my things loaded prior to telling me that the genuine price since they believed I’d not have any option except to pay after they’d all of my items loaded onto their truck.

The guy responsible for these movers listened to me and attempted to bully me into going with all the new cost. He explained that Paul wasn’t any longer with the firm, which was to be false and he explained that I just had five minutes to make his choice cause”he’s other motions and things he must perform and can not wait around for me.” I said I wished to speak with a manager, so that I ended up talking with Anthony. I requested the mover to wait till we had solved the situation but he explained he was not waiting and he was departing. Anthony explained 15 minutes after that the movers were still outside my building and can do the transfer, but in the $1,900 cost. I can only suppose that the inspector explained that he was leaving to attempt to frighten me into going along with the move in the new price. Anthony stated there was no way that they could do the movement for $1,100 plus it did not matter at all that I had a contract. His only explanation for why I wasn’t granted a precise quote at the first place was that”Paul was becoming somewhat old” and that he”would have to be let go after that.” To my understanding, he’s still used by the provider.

After all of this, I no longer trusted anything Royal Relocation Systems stated and didn’t wish to perform the move together, particularly not for such a large cost. I was fortunately able to have a last minute slot for 2 days afterwards with a different firm, that did the whole movement for $1,493.

Once I did not do the movement with Royal since they would not honor their contract, then I attempted to receive my $125 deposit again. Initially, Anthony told me that I would need to visit Paul’s house and find the money out of him myself. It required three weeks of e-mails to make them email me a test. And if they did, they’d deducted $50 for packaging supplies worth $30 and so only gave me $75 back. At no stage did the company admit that they’d broken a contract or done anything wrong.
