BEWARE: Use those movers in your own peril!!

Worst moving experience I’ve ever had. I know if I did my work too and cavalierly because these folks I’d be terminated. In a state where the unemployment rate is 9% it is amazing these people remain in business. Quite unfortunate experience in general.

Specifics:

They vanished on us 3 distinct times.

The movers attempted to inform us that they could not transfer some smaller things unless we utilized their (expensive ) boxes (air conditioner, fan, etc.) we ended up carrying two complete auto heaps to our new residence and unloading ourselves since they refused to carry as much stuff.

When we left line in the direct inspector advised me that they have the right for an hour for lunch. I’d previously been advised 30 minutes and travel time but anything. Over two hours later leaving stage they showed up at stage b. no explanation was given as to why they took a hour and 45 minutes for lunch ( traveling time.)

When the move was finished they started putting back our bed together. It required an extra 90 minutes to place back our bed together. I don’t have any idea why it took 3 guys with power tools that much time to place a mattress back together.

All of the movers were using us for 11 hours with no 2-hour lunch. There was not any reason on earth it ought to have obtained 9 hours to our relocation. The initial quote (that I had been told was”worst case scenario”) was to get 6 hours/$1150. They needed me to pay an extra $400 due to their inefficiency.

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!! We recently transferred from a 1st floor flat into a 5th floor apartment in an elevator building. The ONLY reason why we hired movers was due to an extremely valuable mirrored amusement centre that was custom built built and within my family for nearly 40 decades. HORRIBLE!!! Never never use them! Missing things. I’m missing my earthy eyeglasses , down comforter, bed skirt, and a shelf on my side plank. Additionally, my statue of St. Michael has been busted up, and there were forfeited pins for the DVD and novel cases. Additionally, they did not even re-assemble my coffeee table. Mind you, I gave every one of those movers at Jersey City $50 hints, completely $150, together with tons of Gatorade and water. The movers at Florida acquired $60 tricks, per man, totaling $240, pluse Gatorade and water. How can I buy? Missing and broken objects.
