    DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!

On the front end, the sales man (Danielle) was the very best of this group which I got quotes from, and she informed me that they did transfers to CA weekly and had multiple trucks leaving every week on such path, so that is why I picked this business over others. Believe me, their cost was right in the center of the above 10 quotes I purchased, so I didn’t choose based on cost alone, and I particularly did my evaluation by printing off a list of queries from the moving institution to inquire a plumber prior to signing a contract. The company did a fantastic job when picking my stuff up, but then the nightmare began…

A week following the date I had been told could almost certainly be the date of delivery, so I was subsequently told that my stuff was still in the warehouse. Within the course of the following month I needed to put nearly daily calls to test the status of my delivery, during which time I either couldn’t get through to the organization and needed to leave voicemails, or was awarded the run-around stating they did not know where the driver was and would need to call me back, however I would not ever receive a return.

During those months whenever I did speak to somebody at the business, I had been advised that my stuff could be placed on a truck which week and that I must expect delivery the next week, but then the next week could come, and I’d then be advised that no, my material was still not even on a truck, and that the individual who informed me it was did not understand exactly what they were talking about and should not have stated that. It got to the point at which the dispatcher refused to even talk to me, and I got into a screaming match with the director of the business, Susan. When I requested to talk to the proprietor, I had been advised that the owners were simply shareholders and did not have anything to do with running the business so I needed to bargain with her.

Then, eventually, when I had been promised delivery on another Sat or Sun (they still couldn’t tell me an specific afternoon ), I called the driver on Friday to confirm which day it’d be, and he said Sunday. But then, later on Saturday he called to say he could not make it on Sunday after all and that he would be here on Monday instead, that meant I needed to take a crisis day from work (in my new job mind you) to be here for shipping.

On delivery day, once the movers finally came, I was then told that I would have to cover a few hundred more dollars since the space between where the truck would park and my location was more compared to 75 ft, as stipulated within my contract. THIS after having had my things for more than a month, and I had been told that they weren’t likely to unload till I paid the money, in money. Discuss feeling as if my stuff has been held hostage! Thank goodness I had the cash readily available to even be able to pay.

When the movers were done unloading, I had been asked to sign a form stating that everything was sent and in good shape, but as anybody knows during a movement, it becomes unloaded so quickly, and you’ve got boxes around the area, so inspecting each and every thing is almost impossible. Along with also the kind I was being forced into signing stated that I scrutinized the truck to be certain none of my things were left on it, but once I requested to find that the truck, the driver got angry and stated there were too many different people’s items about the truck so he would not allow me to inspect. So, I wrote that on the paperwork, in the expectation that when I did find anything lost, that I would be able to have recourse.

In the long run, I’d lost and damaged things, but naturally, after submitting my claim, I got about half of what I must have obtained in fiscal reimbursement, and it took more than 6 weeks to eventually get my cash. Even throughout the claim procedure, I needed to call Quality Transfer 5 occasions over the span of 3 months to discover if they’d be processing payment once they obtained the signed claim form from the assert firm.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY should you would like a smooth transition into your new residence. I believe myself to be a diligent, level-headed, and understanding individual, yet this firm drove me to the verge of insanity. I can not tell you enough times to steer clear of using this corporation! I’ve filed several complaints with the Illinois Attorney General’s office and the Better Business Bureau, in addition to, submitting this review on as numerous review sites as possible so as to dissuade other people from going through what I have gone through.

    Never use this company

The First Quote price was $1641.75 which after they arrived to pickup on 11/28/11 it turned into $3065.49. Then they told me it’d be involving 5-14 days, the paperwork asserting it would be anywhere between 1-21 business times. (this doesn’t clarify whether or not Saturdays are included because they’re available on Saturdays.) With weekends out and moving off my anticipated delivery date and NOT the pickup date it had been 29 days. Number of times total has been 41. They kept saying it wouldn’t be so long, but wouldn’t tell me something about that. They also wouldn’t need to follow up on whatever. They did not even involve the pick-up occasions, I needed to phone them.

After I finally did receive a call saying that they need to send on Halloween they inform me that I can not use a email order in the lender, THE BANK! This was also on a Friday day that made me little time to rush around like a crazy woman to find the cash I already had deposited to my new lender and return to the post office to have a new one which they’d take. Then after finally obtaining a day to allow them to come back, I receive a call in the driver asking if he would come a day after if maybe it could be later this afternoon. I informed him I needed my things now and so I eventually got my items later 9pm on Halloween that could be OK if they had not been so loud and diverted to the others at the apartment complex. In addition they brought it at a massive truck, that I was blessed my apartment complex was the way of this.

Additionally, I discovered my nightstand and amusement centre broken; my outside table is presently overlooking the glass surface (that had been the last thing that the driver took with him during pickup once I said I’d accept it and he insisted on carrying it together ); my L-shaped table includes places from the drawers in which they’ve been deciphered and the door wouldn’t move; a novel shelf came not able to stand out of its harm (though I am told it cannot be coated ); and even complaints regarding placing the entertainment centre together due to the harm they did take it apart so that the one thing they come back together by them dismantling was that the mattress.

Obviously I went through the issue of submitting for my broken bits, but has been only got an email saying that all they will pay from this more 700 worth of damage will be 24. That is because they state that they do not have photos of their proof although their driver has been carrying them. Along with which they state it’s just 30 cents a pound, however on each of their paperwork its own 60 pennies, but even that doesnt offer me enough to come to an end and find an attorney within it. It’s been 3 weeks because they eventually gave me my items and since then my fiancé’s dad has fixed a few to where it’s useable, but will likely not deal with another motion of any sort. I would need to take it away to demonstrate damage which they would probably not cover anyways.

This is only a list of what had occurred coping with them. A few of the things that I have read from other people seems quite much like mine; even jacked up costs, lengthy wait times, broken merchandise, rude customer support (if any), etc.. This location is far from specialist and has made me mad at the incredibly idea of the firms name. Someone should just shut them down.

    Lost items,poor customer service

If you would like to prevent a potential nightmare DON’T utilize Quality Transfer co. based from chicago.  I had been looking forward for sqaure footage. The shipping was nearly 3 months late. When it finally came I had been missing things. Then I spent the upcoming few months attempting to recover my lost products simply by being shuffled around to a number of distinct individuals within the corporation. Two weeks in I was advised that they found one bag but nothing else and that they were to email it to me. Three weeks after I was still calling to get them ship my luggage. I was left needing to drive hundreds of kilometers to and from their workplace from Chicago to find out the bag they lost, seen, rather than shipped. The workplace was just one little area, at a filthy construction, at a horrible part of the town. Public isn’t permitted in the doorway. So I had to stand out in the ghetto, at the rain, waiting patiently for them to provide me my luggage. It was dreadful! Obviously they never recovered any of the other products. And should I ever move again I am leasing a u-haul!

Worst moving experience with Quality Move Chicago, IL

Please do not use this’Quality transfer’ moving business. . .They Are at Chicago, IL. This provider is essentially filled with dishonesty….They amazed me a few times like charging more charges as soon as they complete the packaging with nobrain calculations….The closing price only came out of their thoughts not from accurate calculation and explanation foundation… Then they recovered my things for about 40 times and they’re stating that this can be within 30 business days so it’s fine. . .They never advised me about 30 business days….They said two weeks could be sufficient….But it took about 6 months… Additionally some of those stuffs that were delivered were ruined and that I made a claim and they admitted it after a lengthy back and forth communications. . .pictures. . .emails…, that required nearly 9 month… Plus they aren’t sending me a settlement test since Jan.. . .They would be the king of this delay…. Please do not use Superior movement to your moving If You Would like to maintain your mental wellbeing great…

    WORST Company Ever

When there was a celebrity choice lower than inferior, I’d be around that. WORST shifting experience of my entire life. This firm has likely the worst customer service and some of the very inept individuals ever.   Apart from waiting two weeks for my things, as it arrived it came broken with boxes overlooking.   And do not even attempt to get your things back. I am missing family photographs along with a ton of different things. You’d think that I am requesting the wheel to be recreated when I request people to Search for my things.   I’m honestly so mad at this time, that all I could say is: do not use this organization. Strap your things on for your back, employ your cousin Vinny, hell – employ some random guy off the road. I guarantee you will get a better experience.

    Horrible office staff

Beware of their office employees they’re lot of liars, can provide you a very low estimate and then add extra fees whenever they arrive in the door to the move day. At the point the client is stuck together and does not have any selection. Every team memeber call themselves since the supervisor if requested to speak to you personally. If you’re a person of colour, please do yourself a favor and don’t go together.
