GREAT SERVICE VERY AFFORDABLE THEY ALL WORKED VERY HARD

Moving is most likely one of the best five things that I hate in existence. Provident  Transferring made the entire process so not as stressful! Experts: -They’re on time -Really friendly, professional, and courteous -Created sure to short me on all extra charges (furniture covers, price, etc) before beginning -Proactively retaped boxes to make sure they were protected -Helped me with installation in my new flat -centric the entire moving procedure fast. They certainly didn t attempt to make the most to go within the three hour minimum. I’d certainly suggest Provident  Transferring and might use them again for the next move.

GREAT PLEASENT UNIFORMED GUYS WORTH EVERY PENNY

My expertise with Provident  was among my greatest moving encounters yet! They came on time, were both professional, and effective. Kat arrived a couple of days before assess and offer a fair estimate, and we’re delighted with our choice. Everything was packaged up attentively, and no harm had been caused to my belongings, my old grief, or my brand new one. They helped pack up the odds and ends I had lying around and came back ready with everything. They required a great deal of stress from moving. I’ll certainly use them again.

BEST MOVING EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD YET THESE ARE GUYS ARE REAL PROS A

Within the last 6 Decades, Andy (I do not believe he had the title Provident  until lately or some other firm name that I am aware of) has transferred me out of Philly to NYC, from NY to DC, then my future spouse from CT into DC (along with me out of 1 DC apartment into the next ) and then from DC back into NYC.   Most recently he transferred my wife and I from NYC into Stamford.   He’s not very favorable or individual (you will Probably collect that from the initial telephone call).   But man, can this man go.   Every time that he quoted a cost. . .that was the….didn’Regardless of if the transfer took more, and also so the doormen were pricks and we needed to wait for an hour to the cargo elevator.   (Andy fought with the doormen on nearly every movement )   There were no Additional fees.   Moving is a dishonest company and I’ve had some terrible experiences and understand many who’ve shared that expertise.   Andy does all of the work himself, He’s there on both sides of the transfer (he will have an assistant or two of course).   He packaged for me every time and I can not remember a single important thing that ended up lost or broken into any of those 5 moves.   On top of that, his prices have always been really fair. It’s hard to find good reliable movers, so I strongly suggest that you provide Provident  a telephone.

GREAT JOB EXCELLENT SERVICE VERY HAPPY

I had been impressed with everyone I needed to bargain with in PROVIDENT, prior to and throughout the transfer. Particular thanks to Nick Rodriguez for performing the stock at my home and answering all of my questions, and of course the team. Humberto, both Charlie and Warren have been OUTSTANDING!!! They have been professional but also enjoyable and kept me sane throughout the procedure. I’ve not completed a transfer that went so well in my own life. Thanks!

EASY AS CAN BE WOULD YOU AGAIN A Service

Because of my buddy’s suggestion, I had an amazing experience having Provident  transfer my posessions out of my previous place to new site. When I first called to find a bit more info for their rates and services, I had been attended nicely and all of my questions and worries had been cared for. I then arranged for these to emerge and pick up my things, since the day approached and it was time to transfer the movers were so glorious. All 3 guys were professional and knowledgeable. My possessions were in tact after they had been delivered and general customer support was wonderful. I would not mind having them go my things once more the second time I transfer

GREAT JOB FROM START TO FINISH

I utilized Provident lately in my movement over NJ. I needed to transfer OUT of a single flat one day and into this new one the following moment. Day One I had been awarded a 1 hour time period of when the group might arrive (9-10am). Team showed up at 9:10am and’d granted me a courtesy phone earlier to tell me that they had been on the road. The group, headed by Abraham, were SO courteous and incredibly efficient. They had been in and out in two hours (precisely my alloted/estimated period – that I loved since I was paying for the hour). They came ready with all equipment they had to perform their jobs correctly and actually took great care of most of my furniture and possessions.

Amazing service we were extremely surprised I could not have asked for a better service

The movers came on time and packaged up and filled our whole home in less time then even estimated. They were incredibly courteous and did a very superb job. This was a very hit afternoon and they did not stop. The cost was right on stage Though they overworked a hour but they adhered to their own quotation

VERY PLEASEANT COMPANY TO DEAL WITH FROM START TO FINISH NO COMAPLAINT

I utilized Provident to get a local move in New Jersey. The original quote was true and the follow-ups timely, and that was significant because I had a couple of complications in selling my home (who does not?) . The move team came on time, and actually HUSTLED to find the job done on the period estimate, but additionally took great care of my own stuff. Regrettably (because my new location was just eight miles off ) my items necessary to be saved for a few days, but that also wasn’t any issue. I requested for exactly the exact same team for your move-in, and that I had been equally as impressed by how fast they got stuff done. From begin to finish, the transfer went quite smoothly, and also the price tag, excluding storage-related expenditures, was inside the initial quote. Thanks, SOOOOO MUCH KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK

MOVING MADE EASY I HIGHLY RECOMED TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A MOVER

Transferring to Raleigh from New Jersey was something that I had been looking forward to and also being a single mum, I understood it was likely to be somewhat strenuous. My colleague advocated Provident and I phoned them up and within 24 hours they had been in my place to provide me the moving quote. They gave me a quote which wasn’t just economic, but the best part was that they stuck into it. I have never faced any problems associated with operating out of supermarket to supermarket for packaging material. They took care of all. High five to one provident group for making it a good deal simpler for me.

I was quite nervous having some business come in and move my items because I had a few high-end furniture which had to be broken down and proceeded. I searched many businesses and from the beginning, all of the folks I talked with Dave out of Provident Transferring were very helpful and considerate, not pushy or in 1 instance, condescending like any other businesses. I eventually settled on them to the cost and consistant customer care. They came on time, were really considerate and friendly, and prepared to do the job. My spouse and I were very impressed and pleased at our choice to utilize this firm. They carefully wrapped, transported and piled our possessions as though they possessed them. When they drifted , they were more than happy to place and move the furniture in which we desired it. We’re even doing the”a bit abandoned, no, today directly” using a floor carpet. They were even chiming in to receive it put just perfect. From the time the movement was finished, I almost felt like they had been more like our buddies rather than hired help. I’ll use them again if so wanted and I have been telling my friends how lovely they were. 1 thing to consider, the first quotation you get from any provider is merely a Estimate. The last invoice from Provident was still less than the next lowest quote from any other firm.

    Scam

Complete SCAM The men were exceptional but rehearsed together with all the fees after the simple fact of course. I gave them an specific collection of many pieces needing to be transferred locally and has been quoted an estimatevof $100 in packaging materials.   The box for only 1 bit was $75 in the of this transfer of course. So at the close of the movement I had over $300 in packaging materials!!! Tape and wrap,, Apparently they wrap each bit so why wasnt their quote very accurate Since they understood they’d wrap every bit!!! Also no notice of 150 long haul charge since they needed to walk down the hallway in the highrise construction, which they had been advised!!!  Overall move period was two hours and it cost over $800!! They said everybody fees similar to this so that I sent them several other fair quotations… No answer to this!!! Except those quotess Weren’t real!!!

    Professional Scam - be warned

Be cautious – it sounds and looks professional.   The Entire piece on washing their shifting blankets.   Do not be suprised if you End up waiting for your belongings in mindnight after being guaranteed a 3pm Shipping.   And, at double the Price.   There is a well rehersed response for all – just like pro scam artists.   My Very Best advice would be to steer clear of the team.   They’ll tear you off with a grin.

    THIEVES & RIP OFF ARTISTS

IF You’re MOVING, READ THIS URGENT REVIEW —  PROVIDENT MOVERS ARE LIARS AND WILL RIP YOU OFF BIG TIME! My expertise with Provident Movers was really dreadful That I’m writing a review to the very first time ever because I’m forced to warn other customers.   I’m a CUSTOMER AND NOT A COMPETITOR AS JOHN MAY HAVE YOU BELIEVE WHEN YOU QUESTION HIM ON THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS. This Business’s real cost is far greater than the quote along with the foreman can”FORGET” to provide you alter so in Case You use this business, be careful and prepared to keep your attention on your cash.   My quote was for 1239 along with the real cost was 1951.   The quote on hours was true but adviser and supervisor didn’t mention that the high price of blankets, boxes and shrink wrap.   There was a EP fee which was n out of country fuel surcharge that no one appeared to be Conscious of in the time of this quote.   Picture that the $150 to get a gas surcharge in New Jersey into New York and nobody understood what it was for.   The Business offered to repay that charge; nevertheless, I had to sign a waiver which I would not write a negative review and once I called three months later to attempt to re pay back the amount to be reimbursed,” John stated the 2 weeks interval for approval had died.   But like most of the other”hidden” price, that wasn’t any where about the waiver or at the email that they sent me. I’m a single mother on a restricted budget and since this experience was really dreadful and the business will probably RIP INNOCENT PEOPLE OFF, I chose a review required to be composed. The day of the transfer, the foreman Offers You the real cost of blankets, boxes and shrink wrapping and until he has started, the consumer needs to signal.   Now, There’s no option but to be RIPED OFF without legal recourse.   A very sly and deceitful movement. . .but why be amazed. . .all the deals with this business were deceitful.   They’re THEIVES!!!!   I plan to follow along with a lawyer in Addition to Better Busines Bureau and Consumer Affairs.

    Local NY move

STAY AWAY! I wish I could somehow provide them lower than one star but I am unable. To preface this review I’ve moved 4 times anyplace from the NY/NJ region in the previous 7 decades. I know there will remain false”extras” which are added into the amount of any quotation you’re given. In my head if it adds yet another 10-15percent I only kind of live with it within this business. With that being said I was going a 1 BR apt from Brooklyn to Brooklyn (7 miles away). I had been quoted a minimum of 4 hrs at $85/hr and provides. I asked the woman on the telephone if she would ball park a few for me just so that I would not be captured too off guard. She stated that a 1 BR ought to be approximately $150-200 in equipment but could change based on how well I packaged before. With that quotation given I presumed there could be an additional $200 of something in addition to this and that I had been looking at roughly $800 for your transfer. Since the movers came 2 and a half an hour late coming out of work in NJ (good preparation by dispatch) I again asked the supervisor one of the 3 that which he believed supplies could be contingent upon how things appeared. He explained between $150-180 but could not guarantee me anything. After all was packed with their truck that they provide me a bill for more than 1,200. I clearly tried with the educated conversation with this man but that was hopeless. I stated there was no way I was paying that and he looked at me smugly since they had been in possession of most of my products minus my vehicle and they were not going to flip it over until I paid the sum in total. Feeling just like he was doing me a favor that he ended up knocking away roughly $40 off the distribution charge which was over $450. To say I wouldn’t ever use this company or trust anybody associated with them could be a massive understatement.

    Dishonest Company

Dishonest Company, do not trust them.
They quote you one price on the telephone and then if they arrive that the cost drops. Ask yourself just how come they triumphed in money only! They’re dishonest. Do not think the positive reviews, they have their own workers compose them.

    Hidden FEEs WATCH OUT!

I predicted since they gave me a very low estimate of $80.00/Hr total quote was $400.00 to proceed to CT.. But after reading the testimonials and phoning back them asking questions about additional charges, the price began piling up. They said its compulsory to wrap all of furniture pieces but they do not let you know how much additional for equipment to wrap everything. Its in the mover discretion to pick price.  Subsequently the 1 of those 5 hours  that they estimates was for the last destination to the home office so that this will go up if it takes more.  Its not contained in the your move. All I can recommend is that you ask a great deal of question and get all of it in writing. They’re in the company of creating money and when its too good to be true, it likely is. In this instance it was. I really don’t enjoy it if a company isn’t straight forward with you in the start and do not provide you a fair estimate with for a fair price.

    Unprofessional, LOTS of Hidden Fees

I had been quoted $308; in the time the quote was granted to me, I inquired if there had been any extra fees and had been advised any packaging material needed could be added.   Be ready to pay $4 per roll of tape and $5 percent blanket – that the movers will utilize 30 rolls of tape and 30 blankets. To move a little one bedroom apt (couch, television stand, headboard, bed frame, mattress, dresser). They also charge $75 to crate a TV.   The movers were very self indulgent – two were shipped – not dressed in uniform, one didn’t speak English which could be fine when I spoke his speech however not the case.   I ended up using them leave the Majority of my things because I didn’t want to cover for 30 more blankets and bits of tape.   Also, be cautious, the inspector attempted to bill me for 5 hours – when he requested to collect payment after just 3 hours of proceeding I inquired why he billed me to get 5 (rather than the 4 hour minute ) and he had no excuse.

In addition, he stated he had been supposed to bill me for moving into a 2nd floor, but this advice has been given when my quote was granted and the rep didn’t state anything about an add-on nor was it recorded in my emailed estimate. Additionally, when the two movers shipped couldn’t get my couch to the door of my new apt and I suggested they remove the doorway, they informed me that they don’t eliminate doors.   What Type of movers don’t eliminate doors from hinges so as to get furniture inside?   I am sorry, did I never employ you and are I’m not paying one to transfer my furniture? Though the emailed estimate did noticed”packaging materials added cost” the costs weren’t recorded – nor was there a disclaimer that said they wouldn’t transfer anything if it was not covered in a blanket. Just complete bad experience – unprofessional, poor attitude, simply morally wrong.   Simply avoid this place.

    Use different movers

Provident Transferring is untrustworthy and dishonest. I wouldn’t suggest that you utilize their services. The proprietor Jon will inform you all of the situations that you need to hear and also in your move day you will figure out the hard way that it wasn’t correct. To begin with, I had been under the belief that the quote they give you’d be sensible. Halfway through the transfer that they told me it’d cost DOUBLE to 1600 CASH. Secondly, they assert they fumigate their trucks and blankets to stop bed bugs and also the blankets will be sealed in plastic- they’re NOT.   The foreman (who had been presumed to be really moving our things ) was gearing up the blankets and hammering them together for their next victims at the center of the movement. They included on charges for petrol surcharge, taxes, tolls, long transport, packaging materials, etc etc etc.. In the long run we told them to simply unload our things from the truck and we needed to re-assemble everything ourselves (many matters that they reassembled unnecessarily to waste stuff, time/labor to boost prices ). I had to pursue them out and beg them to make our mattress upstairs since they simply left it at the foyer. Complete a horrible, stressful encounter that is unprofessional. Search elsewhere for more reliable movers. They’ll refuse to unload your things off their truck in case you don’t supply them money till they complete the job. They assert they take credit cards but system appears to be down- unless you cancel their solutions ahead of time. All-around unscrupulous and will attempt to gauge you to get more cash on relocation day. Not something that you wish to handle.

    Never recommend this company

Below is what I posted on yelp. Enjoy!
I haven’t written a review before but felt the necessity to write one today because of my experience with this provider. I guess that everybody who has used this business has felt the exact same manner, given the absence of”recommended testimonials” but plethora of different testimonials which pretty much completely back up what I’m going to say. I hope this makes it on to this Recommended Reviews department so that mine could function as a warning. If it does-everyone-read this and then go read the other testimonials. Then consider it and run to the hills!!! Here is why:
Days ahead of the transfer, this business was given explicit directions on times and addresses and specific instructions having to do with the speeches and what to select up. Telephone calls were made to confirm receipt of their email. They obtained it. We are told certain directions in the mail would incur extra expenses. We were okay with that, advised them. However, still-they were late. Really late. Hours late. Per the email, the movement was supposed to begin at 10:30 am. They got into the first place, a storage centre (that had to be prearranged and lifts blocked off) in 2:30. Our residence in 3:45. (They were supposed to be there at 12:00 noon)
Do not stick to the directions on the email despite the fact that they did publish it out, delete the time stamp along with other directions they apparently did not enjoy and give it that the men about the truck and call it a day. Apparently they however our move must go another way. And begin afterwards.
When a telephone call was made to the owner or manager or anything his undeserved name isalso, john. . .well, that’s when thing got interesting. Rather than apologizing or admitting to his error (for that there was evidence was created ), or perhaps just hoping to finish the confrontation by, I do not understand, taking off among the incorrect fees (elevator fee??? Excuse me, it is a hassle which you believe you will need to get paid for to utilize the assistance of a elevator to lift very heavy things???) He contended. For hours. On the Telephone. When we ought to have been overseeing our movement, we’re on the phone claiming. When we should have been packing our toilet and toilet, we had been arguing. When we ought to happen to be keeping our attention to the foreman who vanished for a half an hour, we had been arguing. By this time we were done contending hand discovered that the movers it was overdue. Too late to continue using the elevator in our building (that is ok though men, you may use the stairs directly!?!?) And much too late to visit the bank. Too bad though for us, says john. He wants $1750 money and needs it today. He’ll take our things and set it in storage with no. Too bad for us that ATMs don’t have an overpriced movement alternative and do not allow you to take out that much. Too bad they can not take a test like a regular, well run company.
The Forman, who’d been fine up until this stage, decided to then be obnoxious. I know it is not actually his fault. He probably wanted to go home as far as we all did. However, for in our faces and say”there are two issues on the planet, mine and not mine”, I am not sure I am okay with this. I can not blame him though, it is not his fault that he chose a horrible company to work for.
When threatened with the cops (which looking at those reviews I see I’m not the only one for this thought!) They appeared down to enough to switch off their truck that was operating as though they had been going to push away. We scrounged up enough money and paid them and they moved our things fine. We requested them to transfer a lot of boxes up stairs to us also and they did not but that is likely because the whole day was the worst ever and they weren’t done before 10:30 pm and after that they really wanted to move home. Which, frankly, is fine. I can not manage my gym membership anymore anyhow, since this firm has effectively obtained all of my cash, so I really could use the work out.
I predicted john one final time last night to inform him I’m consenting to the better business bureau. I didn’t give him a opportunity to react. I’m writing this review today at 7 am since John felt the need to call my mobile phone to wake me up this afternoon. So not just will they make your relocation a horror story and keep you up late at night unpacking since they have been LATE LATE LATE, they will provide you a wake up call in the daytime!!!
In summation. . .they do not deserve a celebrity. They deserve a star that is negative. They deserve never to receive a brand new client again. They must be out of business. They’re con artists. They’re scum.
Have I convinced you to keep far nonetheless????

    Unprofessional and dishonest

Don’t collapse the quotation, it will not be anywhere close to the quote. They’re the worst movers and we’ve transferred a whole lot with my husband function. They gave us quote of $1175 earlier I offered some of my things including complete patio set, push mower and riding mower and more, and after loading truck bill us more then the twice the cash. It moved from$1175 to $2600 however they needed $2875 money. I over heard the salesman John on the telephone with the moving manager telling him to bill me 15hrs labour despite the fact that they had not even been shifting me for 10 hrs. He offered 7 hrs (how funny is that). When I asked him how it ended up taking nearly double the time he said I need to have had more things he then noticed. That I did not, I’d less since I had a moving sale. I told them all I had was 2600 and could not pay a dime more. It, I signed up the paper and discovered it said $2300. Guess the remainder is a suggestion. They place my BluRay, secure, air conditioner and home decode in precisely the exact same box. Did take good care of transferring my electronic equipment. Broke 2 lamps, bed rails bent and dropped a bag off which is not even mine. I phoned john and informed him I’d the bag and now it’s been a week and it is still here. I’ve text and advised him my problems and he did not bother to phone said he’d telephone Monday and talk for my spouse and I. Unnecessarily they disassembled each furniture and then wrap it using cardboard and blanket. I forgot to say I’d packed all my own stuff. They had a couple of dishes and massive pictures and big furniture. Everything else I did. So tell me the way that it cost more then twice. We’ll NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE AND WE KNOW A LOT of People Who MOVE EVERY YEAR OR OTHER YEAR FOR WORK. DO NOT USE THEM
