    Long-distance move from Tennessee
    AVOID AT ALL COSTS

PRA (Professional, Affordable, Reliable) Movers – Atlanta GA
Never, under any circumstance if you employ PRA movers in Atlanta GA for almost any moving service. They’re a business which cares exclusively for their own financial advantage, and doesn’t have any feeling of customer support. They’ll underquote you dictate to make your company, and then hike the cost anyway they could when it is time to the pickup and delivery dates. I can’t emphasize enough, AVOID AT ALL COSTS. You’re far better off using an honest business to the moving needs, even when they quote you greater from the start. In the long run, you are going to wind up paying less. If you go for a scam operation such as PRA, you may cover it ultimately fiscally.
In my instance, I wasn’t living in exactly the exact same condition as my possessions (in memory ) once I ordered the transfer, and as it had been not able to be physically present when they failed my own pickup in Nashville TN. So, I needed to send them with the secret to my storage device for them to start it (that they didn’t return to me since they dropped it and refused to repay, but more about this later). Since I couldn’t be there on pickup day and couldn’t perform just a visual itemization of my possessions, I needed to quote using Carol, my PRA sales agent, as a way to approximate the quantity of my possessions and so, the sum of my quotation. I really did the best I could fearing all of my things, and that I highlighted over and over again together with Carol that this was still an approximation also I couldn’t remember every tiny thing. I had been quite concerned about overage charges. She advised me not to stress, and that she’d only put a couple of hundred bucks worth of’miscellaneous fees’ to pay some additional products. This could have been nice, but come proceed day I get a text message in the driver of the moving truck that my bill could be $800 more costly than what I had been quoted from Carol, although she’guaranteed’ me the mixed fee would cover some additional things I’d. And needless to say, nobody in PRA was accessible to talk with me this day, along with the driver of the automobile barely talked English. So, then starts the saga of me trying for Carol along with the PRA team to honor my initial quotation cost, for which I’ve email confirmation wherein she repeatedly assured me that the overage fees wouldn’t be a issue. PRA, needless to say, wouldn’t deliver my things until I’d paid another installment of my invoice, which now including the fixed cost with all the additional $800. Over the subsequent six months, I was able to make them agree to lose my price at $250. Excellent right? A triumph for the client! Well, honestly, on my shipping date, lo and behold the truck that they have is really colossal that they assert that cannot transfer it in my apartment complex, even though I carried the setup of my complicated well beforehand. Additionally, they might have come though another gate and pulled straight up to my front door. However, what exactly did they do? They pulled in through the very awkward gate, and then charged me a’long haul’ charge of $300 to deliver my things into my flat. Though they all needed to do was back up the truck and pull in through another gate. However, how do they care about your client? They just take care of some means to generate their 300 back. And undoubtedly my shipping has been on a Sunday, therefore nobody in PRA at Atlanta was open to assist, so that I had been forced to Take Care of the rude driver that had been totally unhelpful and kept my possessions hostage until I consented to his commission.   Obviously, the following week that I contacted PRA and explained my situation, foolishly thinking that they would care enough about their client as well as given the conditions, repay the unjustified the extended haul. I again, ridiculous of me, since I refused.
Thus, to summarize, I had been fined $800, then billed an additional $300 for its unnecessary long haul, and then eventually they dropped my storage device lock/key and also had the guts to tell me that they never promised to return back to me personally. The debate I introduced that those were my private possessions did nothing. PRA movers is a scam procedure and doesn’t have any interest in creating and maintaining a connection with its clients. If you like your money and decreasing stress out of your life, prevent them. Don’t hesitate to get in touch with meto ask additional questions if you’re considering them to your moving requirements.

    PRA Movers, Norcross GA

I would not even give them one star….if I had the option, I would deduct a few, a few hundred. They say that PRA stands for Professional, dependable & Affordable, but rather it must stand for the next…
P=PATHETIC, for the caliber of support you get out of them as a firm. R=REGRETFUL, as you are probably going to regret hiring them to manage your move. A=AWFUL & UNAFFORDABLE, Awful customer support from the onset of your transfer to the finish. Most surely unaffordable because after your relocation is finish your going to need to shell out even more money to replace your possessions.
To begin with, when we booked, we reserved THREE moves. One for me in December 2015, and th other two to get my mom & aunt. We had been moving out of Nashville, TN to Winston Salem, NC. We reserved to get an EMPTY 26 ft. right truck. I also informed them on our very first contact that my spouse had over 20 years expertise from the family moving & storage business, working for areas like North American, United, Atlas, Paul Arpin & Mayflower. I told them they’d be smart to ship their very best driver, even if he even exists, to take care of our relocation due to this very fact, that he will be along with their every movement. When they showed up, they had a 26 feet RYDER back truck, with the other shipment loaded on the front of it. After we understood this truck was already partially loaded, my husband told them our dispatch wouldn’t fit. The driver insisted that he was a”great stacker” and that he would get all of it about the truck. We chose to deny that they load our dispatch on the truck together with another one. Then they chose to”go buy another truck” but rather showed back up with the exact same truck, like we can not read truck amounts, and each helper, had steered another dispatch to a mini-storage, for shipping in Knoxville. They continued to operate fairly well, till they got roughly 90% wealthy, and the driver informs us that we had an issue. That we’d went within our estimated 1460 cubic feet by 450 extra cubic feet plus there are a cost of $525.00 and fuel surcharge. But he’d make us a bargain and we can pay him only $500.00 and we’d be even. Uhm, NO. . .NEVER in all my years of assisting my husband onto a transfer did he behave as a salesman for your moving company or create some”deals” together to save them money. That ought to be managed through their workplace. They continue to attempt to convince myself & my husband that we’re”over” based on Dan & Carol, this truck is 2000-2200 cubic feet, nevertheless based on Ryder (that is their truck directly ) the cubic feet will be 1600. Thus, I bring this to their attention, IF I was really over, my possessions wouldn’t match on this truck when it had been 1600 cubic feet, and are tight in best at 2000-2200 cubic feet. However,”Mr. United” and his spouse were”dumb” based on Dan at work since Ryder did not understand what they were referring to (although this can be really a Ryder owned truck) and we had to get out a measuring tape & assess the truck & we’d observe that he was correct….at this stage, I certainly do not think him or anybody at the workplace, or their driver…I decide to think Ryder…I believe they understand their vehicles. So after increasing immortal cain together, they pick their”will not be any additional charges.” They end loading the truck and let’s anticipate them between 11AM and 12 Noon the following day. So the following day, my husband called them around 10:30AM and the driver said to anticipate them about 2:30-3:30 because of being trapped in structure. So, that is 3-4 and half an hour late at this time. Then after phoning the office at 4:30 since the motorist is currently NOT calling his mobile phone, they can not get in contact with him either. Eventually at 5:15 he calls and says he’ll be at my home by 7PM, finally he shows up at 8PM. Now, I’ve called our regional Sherriff’s Department, since we’re furious, they’ve consented to sit there while the truck is unloaded & maintain the peace. To begin with, when he backs to the drive way, we detect a enormous gaping hole at the rear door of the vehicle, together with NO explanation of how this occurred. They opened the rear door & we note that our possessions are rearranged, and if questioned, again, no excuse, just uh, uh, uh. So then they start to float, and roughly 20-20 minutes to unloading the deputy rings me a record number because even he sees that they’ve done things badly & says I might need this ultimately. Our Tempur-pedic mattress was soaking wet, our Ethan Allen King Sized Bed also had a chunk of wood missing from it. Several pieces weren’t even padded. There’s items broken or missing entirely now. I also have noticed at this stage that TWO total pages of stock are missing and following 4-5 days of requesting them, they still haven’t complied and given them to me. My husbands Craftsman Riding Mower was seriously dented, and the hood can be warped. No excuse. Each of the motorist would say when we pointed out how damages has been”take a picture” and that I have now taken about 100 images of distinct products. Never at once have we received an apology out of the motorist, or even the office team. I had been told from the owner/boss to”get a life” since we did not understand what we had been talking about. I sincerely advise that you do your research and employ another firm, although it could be more expensive, you get exactly what you pay for. My lawyer was contacted and a law suit is extremely likely in the not too distant future. Save yourself some frustration & time in addition to undue tension and RUN if they contact you to your company.

    Long-distance move from Georgia
    Horrible

Its really rare that I provide reviews but this is extremely much needed. PRA is your worst moving business that I’ve ever managed. Not only are they unprofessional but also liars, and inconsiderate of their clients needs. That having been said, my things were not picked up and fell off if they were assumed to be. Some of my things were bankrupt, and the communication is dreadful. I signed up a contact saying I’d pay a particular amount when calculating the transfer, and the rest of the amount once it has dropped off. The entire amount came from my account the exact same dayI! Dan is a terrible salesman and I truly hope that he gets fired quite soon. In fact, I am hoping that this whole business is closed down. I am now in the process of submitting a complaint in order that they are one step closer to closing down.

DO NOT USE - terrible experience

AVOID. Never use this provider. Each area of the procedure was awful.

-In pickup, they drifted my home and attempted to extort more money than that which had been agreed upon. Literally they attempted to bully us into committing them more money , and left behind a lot of garbage throughout the lawn.

-When they had my things, they pulled away a significant Bait-and-Switch about the cost, then stored my merchandise hostage so as to extort cash from me.

-When they delivered my things, they pulled the identical move, revealing up using the incorrect gear and attempting to squeeze more money out because of their own incompetence.

The movement ended up costing me actually twice everything we all agreed upon. I never would have compensated anyhow they threatened to ditch my things around the side of this street.

1 customer service representative was fine, however, the motorists and the business owner are a few of the most impolite people I have ever struck. And in addition to this, a whole lot of items were ruined. Seriously – not ever use this provider.
