    Untimely and rude!

I intended to use PODS to get a cross-country movement. My container delivery has been scheduled the day in front of a snow storm. They cancelled the shipping in anticipation of snow (the sky was blue and the sun had been out in that time), also didn’t phone me to inform me of the rescue till after the shipping window. They rescheduled my shipping four occasions because of this weather, that was clear, but assured I’d be among the very first deliveries if they declared their program. They didn’t send the exact morning deliveries resumed as guaranteed, but gave that a shipping window in the day. They did not really arrive until an hour after the shipping window. When I called to complain, I was told delivery dividers aren’t guarnateed and they wouldn’t supply any reduction or reimbursement for totatally squandering my afternoon twice. Moral of this story, in case you’ve got unlimited time on your hands free of additional items in your own schedule, it’ll be OK. When you have any kind of schedule or life, go with somebody else! My delivery man (as soon as the pod eventually came ) stated the organization has gone completely downhill since being purchased out two decades back. A significant disappointment!

    PODS Moving and Storage

My roomates and I moved our items with PODS and they were fantastic!  We also obtained a reduction via http://businessbrokerjournal.com/pods-promotional-code/ that helped a lot since a routine moving company wanted to charge us about 3 times the cost we have.  We’ll utilize PODS again to maneuver in September.

    Incompetent, dishonest

20 hours before we were scheduled to proceed my husband had been admitted to the hospital for chest pains in which he stayed for five times. 1.   The moving men recommended by PODS in their site (experts in weight loading and supply ) cancelled 15 hours until they were supposed to arrive, six months after my husband went into the hospital. 2.   They called replacements”we do not endorse.” The new moving men were fine but inexperienced in loading, distribution and weight.  3.   Because of these variables, I needed to purchase Another PODS unit.   When it came, I had been asked to transfer my car.   Afterward , I abandoned our garage door open and went inside.   4.   The drop-off motorist for PODS entered my garage and required two dozen fresh moving blankets (brand new in package with UPS shipping labels) bought from PODS and delivered by UPS.   The motorist admittedly shot my husband’s leather going gloves along with fresh rope (in bundle ) in my garage.   5.   PODS stated they found no listing of those blankets.   I gave customer support the UPS tracking numbers and credit card receipt to get all these blankets.   Next, client support ceased taking my telephone calls.   6.   I left client support a message about filing a police report against this driver when he neglected to return the items as mentioned.   In conclusion, I obtained four harassing telephone calls in the drop-off motorist’s manager who followed the drop-off driver back into our house when the final component was picked up.   I felt endangered.  8.   I filed a police report for stolen things and harassment and obtained police instance numbers.   I was Not Able to spend the first four days of my husband’s nausea by his side.   I was Not Able to sleep or eat for Many months Following This experience.   I still get nauseous it over.   I never received a refund for stolen blankets, never head stolen rope and gloves.   I have not felt well since our movement and haven’t pursued this problem –nonetheless.   I believe that is exactly what PODS counts on; this transferring time is exhausting and follow up is tough.

    PODS Moving and Storage

We jumped our art-deco furniture shop out of Sacramento into bakersfield and utilized PODS storage and moving.  We needed to package the storage container ourselves but saved us money in the long run since we didn’t have to cover movers and moving trucks.  Our agent gave us a PODS discount code in http://businessbrokerjournal.com/pods-promotional-code that helped us save even more as it came time to float and settle into our new site.

    Pods move

I utilized Pods to maneuver our household from Tennessee to Colorado and they did a fantastic job. They showed up when they said they would and were really favorable. The Pods quote may be somewhat confusing – I feel this is the origin of a number of different reviewers frustration – but see it attentively and the cost they’ll be charging is apparent. And undoubtedly use a coupon code to save roughly $40 -‘R101’ worked for me. My possessions had changed somewhat during transportation – but that was our own fault for not packaging things closely enough. I would advise Pods if for no other reason so you don;t need to load and unload twice rather than once throughout your move.

Do not use PODS. There are numerous choices. Service is awful. Delays. Awful customer seervice. Long hold times a week attempting to discover why I really do not contacted when shipping wasn’t made. Inacurate or obscure pickup/delivery schedules. No immediate contact with local depot or dispatch. NEVER AGAIN!

Unsatisfied with PODS Moving and Storage

Employed PODS this spring since we had been selling and purchasing a House and we had to clean the Home.   The POD has been sent, packed and picked up nice.   It arrived out of Columbia SC and was being stored at Augusta GA since it had been the nearest to where we dwelt, (we never were provided a selection of storage). Everything went good for 3 weeks.   After we eventually settled in our new house and was prepared for the delivery of the POD we called and were informed that they wouldn’t provide it because of where we resided. Obviously I was angry, now what can we perform.   They said since it was coming out of a different country the nearest place they can send it was Charleston. Smoaks (where people live) wasn’t in there moving place.   So they’d send it to Charleston and the PODS Co consented to send it to us for a enormous fee. They offered us over $900 to send it to our home That Was just 50 kilometers away from charleston.   We could not believe it or manage it.   We just had a Couple of days until They’d bill us for a second month that was just another $248 bucks so we needed to find individuals to assist us carry our things from the POD in the storage location at Augusta Ga real fast and loading it on a UHaul truck and then deliver it into our new home.   This wasn’t what we had been anticipating when we signed up together with PODS.   We paid an additional $223 bucks to Receive our possessions because they Wouldn’t send to our newest Location.
Be cautious, we’re not advised the Insurance has been tacked on monthly just what it will cost to possess. Never did we dream we’d not be able to own our items sent or we wouldn’t have used them.   Don’t know they’d places like this. We believed by using PODS it’d make our movement simple however, it ended up making it a horendus transfer.   I Won’t recommend them to anybody nor ever use them again.

Case Study on How to earn an F- Score

Where to Start?  I rarely write a review unless the inspection is superlative or, at the case, a prime example of what’s wrong with customer support in the usa. This is one of these perfect storm circumstances. The brief hand version is that I utilized POD’ support without episode from the Fall of last year to transfer my older mother’s possessions from TX to VA..  All went without incident afterward. Fast forward to current, the problems started with the very first client call expertise (quote together with the incorrect cost and incorrect location supplied ). Approximately half dozen phone calls later (in my end), they eventually got it right.  I mean what could be so difficult about replicating the previous service programs? Then it got worse even though we’d made travel programs 4-6 months beforehand in order to create the strain to get a senior citizen as low as you can. My wife flew into Texas pickup my Mother in time to the initial POD delivery although it had been postponed due to weather… that I could completely understand.  Then after the weather passed, POD subsequently sent the wrong sized POD.  Things got worse.  The POD call centre manager was incredibly rude and dismissive for my spouse (wish I’d gotten her name). We now had to pay money to a moving team not only once but two for no displays.  Fortunately, a wonderful call centre person named Heather decided to solve the issue and indicated a cost adjustment would probably by created by the bookkeeping department supplied I could supply an invoice for your out of pocket. Days after, the initially arranged POD size shows up and was at beat up state but practical.  At last! Because I had no shifting team bill from a money basis crew, I’d insist that they create one the 3rd time to get POD’s accounting section.  And this team did do this and believed I had been complying the with soul and intent into the POD request. Approximately a dozen calls afterwards, the POD accounting department has  refused to honor the bill since it happened after POD episode two and one. I’d say that their accounting department went to amazing lengths to give friendly nothingness to assuage my worries despite two episode amounts. Worst of all, my spouse end up lost a week of job (outstanding ) as she conducts her own small business.  That financial effect was compounded by my mom and spouse needing to reunite versus the first plan to push my mum’s car back. . .which now had to be sent for $650.  Internet internet, we paid nearly $2000 to become mistreated. My sole recourse was to telephone the credit card payment and then relay this narrative and need satisfaction.  That I just did. . .only to possess those Bozos prematurely shipment collections in my rather than solve the problem in good faith. Never again using POD.  CEO owes my spouse, my old mother and me a private apology and I am making it my obligation to call out unhappy, unfair practices and behaviour.  For shame!!! Ps – I’m saving this writeup to article and warn others everywhere.

    Disappointed

I discovered that the day before my supply which the first sales person neglect to enter my time perference inside the data base platform that was 7 am. I am moving to a different country with a kid, going house to two deaths in my household within two distinct locations. That earnings person made things extremely hard for me in this manner I was disappointed in the simple fact of picking POD and refuse to recommend their services to other people. Not that it actually matters to POD for a firm but it needs to as a client.

    Long distance move and storage

I lately used PODS storage and moving for a cross country move. I contacted PODS to prepare the first delivery of two large containers. The first phone call to put up this took about an hour, that should have been my first warning. They advised me that I didn’t need to be present during the delivery of those empty pods. As a result of their accessibility and my very own previous arrangements, I was unable to be present during shipping. That was to be awful. I had been made to leave a significant job meeting to sign up paperwork in the person delivering the pods. If I didn’t leave my job assembly, they wouldn’t send the pods which I had already paid $450 for and it’d require another 3-5 days until they might”re-deliver” the pods, so that I already paid for. This wasn’t an alternative. And so, I abandoned my assembly. Upon entrance, the delivery guy advised me to call and make an appointment promptly because of my packed complete pods to be picked up because it generally takes 3-5 days for these to be sent or picked upward. Knowing that we had to be from our home by a particular date, I did this. The first container has been picked up as initially scheduled. The next container, nevertheless, seemed to”fall through the cracks.” I phoned PODS to determine why they hadn’t picked up my 2nd container. They explained they did. I asked them how they might have picked it up because I had been looking right at it? 4 days after they eventually picked up the extra container, finally 6 weeks later than initially scheduled. The containers spent two weeks in local country storage and following my husband and I decided that we ought to have a cross country job move, we’d the containers sent. It had been $5500 to possess the two pods sent 2000 miles. Being that it was a work move, my husband employer paid for its pods dispatch. After spending an hour and a half on the phone using a PODS partner and my husband boss, whom gave the payment, the pods delivery has been put. It did require the PODS partner 6 days to set the credit card and billing information into the machine properly. PODS had promised me that the bank info from my husband supervisor wouldn’t remain on document and continue to get charged for monthly storage charges, although time could demonstrate that they did maintain that credit card info on file and the companies credit card has been billed for per month of storage following the cross country move. Now that should have been another indication! The two containers did successfully get out of Colorado to Florida!! This was a massive relief! The containers proceeded to remain in storage in Florida before my husband and I found a home, about two months. When we discovered a home, I instantly called to establish a delivery. Obviously I knew it’d take a day or two for delivery. I establish a date(1/8/16). Because of a hiccups with the house closed, I had been made to push back the date of shipping. Bummer! The afternoon that I knew we’re going to need to wait to move to our new home, I got an email from PODS saying that they had been performing a site and system update/conversion and that no deliveries or pick ups might be either scheduled or rescheduled! I obviously panicked. I phoned their customer support line and managed to speak to somebody and receive the pods shipping rescheduled last minute!!! I was so thankful!! The containers have been scheduled for shipping 3 days after (1/11/16). With PODS you’ll be given a conformation email and telephone call the night before, saying the window of shipping or pickup. I never received this. I knew something was wrong. I called instantly. Now, their approach conversion was full and they explained that they had no record of my containers requiring delivery. The individual I talked to establish a brand new delivery(1/12/16). I was, again, really thankful. But, once more, I didn’t get a confirmation email or telephone the evening before for the new delivery. I called again. And once more, they did not possess a shipping scheduled. I requested to talk to a supervisor. The supervisor called the local centre and guaranteed me that the containers could be sent on 1/12/16, such as initially scheduled. So you may imagine how”thrilled” I had been when 1/12/16 came about and my containers weren’t delivered!!! Oh, at this stage I was quite livid. Not only had we spent 5500 to a cross country move together, we also had been paying $450 per month at storage of the containers, September to January. That is a total of $7750. I’d expect for that sort of cash there are more organization and dependability. I anticipated incorrect. Period. I named the day of 1/12/16 and dropped it on the telephone. None of my finest moments, but what about this business chose to go wrong! We had been on a time crunch also. We had been flying back to Colorado on the night of 1/13/16. We had those containers delivered ASAP, as we were not likely to leave them hanging on our driveway for 5 times with our whole house packed inside of these. The individual I talked to this day said they were planning to attempt to get ahold of their local center , again, and also have a shipping for 1/13/16. She stated she’d phone me back with additional info. Guess what? She never called me backagain. So, I phoned again. This time, the partner I talked with could not answer my queries and thus that they”moved” me into a supervisor. That ended up with my telephone getting disconnected. Ironic…. I phoned again, that partner tried to get in touch with all the local center and assured me they’d phone me back and notify of my delivery to the subsequent day. Again, I never got the telephone to validate the container shipping. Now, I just gave up. My husband and I determined that he would still return to Colorado and I would cancel my trip so that I would be in Florida if the containers were delivered. You may imagine my surprise once I got a call in PODS at 8am, on 1/13/16, saying that the first container was out for shipping and anticipated to arrive in my new house at 10am and the next container for noon!!!!! I had been shocked and happy at precisely the exact same moment. My husband and I managed to unload two big containers in 4 hours and still can create our 6pm trip!!! I didn’t wind up needing to cancel my trip like I initially believed!! I was so thrilled!! I called this day to have the empty containers picked up. The scheduled pickup of empty containers was for 1/18/16. Well, I bet you can imagine what occurred?!?! No verification telephone or email the evening before… I predicted, again they stated they did not have a pickup scheduled!! How do all these mistakes happen to a single individual on a single order??? Baffles me!! So, I schedule a second pickup for 1/21/16. Both empty containers were eventually picked up on 1/21/16. If you believe my horror story is finished, think again!! Together with PODS, you have to cover your storage beforehand. My payment was removed from my account on the 12th of each month. Though my containers were sent to my new house on 1/13/16 and picked up on 1/21/16, they still charged me the complete amount to get per month of storage! No charge given about the unused dates to the charging cycle. I simply didn’t care about the money anymore and only needed to be carried out with this corporation. Well, I looked in my credit card statement on 2/3/16, I have another $450 fee from PODS. For what?? I really don’t have a thing in storage and I don’t have some of the container sitting on my own property. I’ve received 3 emails from them. First one said I was overcharged and I’d be getting a charge, that has been 1/22/16. So I presumed that was the charge towards the unused rest of this month/billing cycle. I then got an email on 2/5/16 saying that they made a mistake and did not charge me so they were currently charging me, that clarified the $450 fee on 2/3/16 that I saw. Then, once more, I receive the following email on 2/6/16 saying that they did over charge me and I’ll be getting a charge. I’ve yet to obtain this charge. This charge could be for storage to the month of February, even though I did not have storage. This still does not rectify the fact that I just used their storage for a couple of days in January and was still charged for an whole month. This whole experience was a DISASTER!! I would NEVER in a million years urge anyone utilizing this particular company, EVER!! There are loads of different businesses whom supply the specific same support. Please inform your friends and family to utilize another firm.

    Do Not Use!

Please do your self a favor and utilize anther firm. It was hands down the worst encounter I have ever had with a company. Spent $1400 to get my own stuff transferred from Cave Creek into Gilbert. They picked one up POD and dropped off it again in the house I went from. I am still shaking my head on how idiotic you should have to be to make this error. I have spent hundreds of hours on the telephone talking with what sounds like mindless robots which have one aim….to make certain nothing has done to repair my problem. I registered an incident report on Wednesday and I am still waiting for somebody to return to me five days later. Whenever I call, the agent managing the accounts is on a rest and will not return my calls.

I told myself I’d never write a terrible review. I usually only think that it’s for people who are not able to please or simply itching to whine about something. Thank you for inspiring me to get on that problem PODS. If I could save 1 client the hassle of conducting business with you, then this particular inspection was a triumph. I truly don’t know how you remain in operation.

    BEWARE OF THIS SHADY COMPANY!!

I would strongly encourage ANYONE that will be demanding moving to under NO circumstances to use this business to the moving needs, because we’re presently experiencing the worst going nightmare ever. We bought a house back in June and after reading the testimonials we believed PODS are our very best choice as once you may load it in your convenience. How in which the business works is that they charge you a first POD yearly fee, ours was $274.64, this fee provides you use of this Pod for a single month. In this month you load the POD then phone them or go online to schedule your Pod to be transferred to a new location, they then charge you a commission to move the bunny to your new location, our commission was $203.29 that includes gas along with also the 44 mile driveway. In this month lease of your Pod you’ve got one month to load your POD, schedule a delivery date for your new house, unload the POD then schedule a date to your POD to be picked up and if you don’t have the POD eliminated from your house ( elimination cost was$89.99) during that first month lease you may automatically be billed another months leasing. This shouldnt be a large problem BUT unlike the TV advertisements and internet advertisements, unless it is possible to schedule your closing POD move 2-3 months ahead of time you’re out of luck and will be billed yet another month, as PODS will guarantee there are no accessible move dates before you need to pay for an excess month. We utilized this support to move our belongings from our garage that took a 15 foot glider and that which went quite rather smooth with the exclusion of the problem of a Pod shifting date. We then had the POD transferred back into our previous home to load the things from our house, this is when things really went down quickly. The Pod sat for 2 weeks vacant in my new house since PODS did not have an available date to transfer that, then on the day it was scheduled to be transferred back into my old house to load again, the driver left me a voicemail saying that he had been choosing up the glider from my new residence. AFTER 4 pm this afternoon I’d no POD in my old home ( it was scheduled from 12-4) so I named the driver back, he’d shot my POD (that I had already been billed for) back into the POD storage location!! He did say he’d go get it and after 5 minutes of describing precisely where to place it, it was put in the incorrect spot I wasn’t home when it was delivered, this was July 5th, Okay accidents occur I presumed so I ignored this and concentrated on moving. I heard from the very first move to telephone WAY ahead of schedule a second movement, so I instantly called PODS and has been informed July 16th was available so that I reserved it. On July 15th I detected at 11 am $89.99 was shot from my bank accounts , I did the online chat in an effort to confirm that my transfer was still on for the following day, which this rep said a manager would email me a response… now is July 17th, still havent heard anything out of JOHN the manager. Then I called PODS to determine why this figure was billed as this wasn’t the quoted cost to have my own fully loaded POD accepted into my new residence. I had been advised by a rude cust. serv. Rep that this was the cost for my own FINAL PICKUP, I attempted to explain to her that it wasn’t closing since it had been loaded not vacant, this whole conversation went nowhere except that I wasn’t gont possess my POD shot to my new place, I requested to be moved o a manager only to be informed via this rep, she’d no boss, I advised her unless she had been the CEO that she did possess a manager. After being with this particular call for more than 40 minutes with this rep too with the gall to tell me I had to be silent and listen to her, then she FINALLY moved me to a supervisor named MIchelle. Michelle was quite pleasant and really wanted to help, but only like JOHN, she had been planning to call me back or email me , and I am still waiting for that email too. Saturday morning arrived and I called PODS first item and talked to a very wonderful man called Max went over and beyond to attempt to get my POD transferred to my new residence, but he had been told that the problem was that it was a 44 mile driveway to get a driveway. He eventually transferred me to a manager to explore this mess with who also tried to assist but could not he did provide a $50.00 charge to my account for this error,it’s yet to reveal on my accounts so I’m not gont hold my breath. He also broke the news to me that my POD which has been scheduled for July 16th, will now be sent to the 19th. I’ve forgot to mention that this shredder has all of my families clothing on it, cooker, fridge, wash & dryer, all of furniture, therefore most of us have possibly two changes of clothing to our title until PODS opt to attract our POD to us. To put the icing on this cake, after all this jumble yesterday that the PODS driver phoned me from my previous driveway in which this POD filled with my things is sitting telling me he’s sitting in my previous driveway looking in my POD wondering why it’s complete and has a lock on it, I proceeded to inform him about PODS neglect which was why my POD was still there, he had been outside sympathetic and said if they had not booked him till 5 he’d have happily drove my POD into me.During his and my dialog somebody beeped in my phone and left a voicemail after hanging up with Dan the motorist, I listened to some RUDE msg out of a warehouse supervisor named BRIAN saying his driver was in my home and there was a lock onto the pod and when I did not call him back he was only gonna select the POD to storage and that I could have it transferred from there!! SO… because I sit in a lawn seat within my new residence with a few of my 2 changes of clothing on, I’m waiting to see whether PODS makes the decision to deliver me their POD filled with possessions since they scheduled. DId I mention that I’d already paid a moving team to unload my POD yesterday???? No refunds today I will either hire them again or hope like hell I will get it unloaded before I must pay a few months rent, I’m POSITIVE PODS are not going to have an accessible date before Aug3rd though that’s my deadline…that I want to also mention I only looked in my PODS account plus additionally they ILLEGALLY WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION utilized a Credit Card that’s not my main card to cover the transfer that’s scheduled for this Tuesday! I utilized this CC one time to cover a pickup I specifically told them afterward it was NOT to be utilized ANY additional time! PODS took it upon himself to use this card again, I just wrapped up with a customer service representative called Mike which was in shock as well as said this wasn’t correct, but charging wasn’t in till Monday and this could be something to go over with them! I would also like to say I’ve asked some kind of reimbursement just to be told nobody has the ability to perform this. I genuinely just want to get this nightmare over with and never see or hear the term PODS again, Because PODS refuse to generate THEIR wrongs correct, I’m making a copy of the article and will place it on EVERY review website I could find in addition to the BBB. This is just one unethical company that fiscally manipulates orders and schedules so as to line their pockets. And god forbid you need to talk with customer support, prepare yourself to be disrespected and you’ll finish the telephone with no settlement, its own PODS way or the street, they understand they’re in control since they either have a POD complete or your own stuff or they create the program and inform you if they will find exactly the POD off your premises, sofinancially you’re in their beck and cal. SO please please DO NOT become a casualty of the firms shenanigans, and like I stated word of mouth is always best and If I will post this on each website possible I’ll to be able to stop anybody else from being screwed over!! After todays illegal usage of a charge card, I’ll be looking for Legal advice and representation in this issue!

Worst Moving Experience of my life

I strongly discourage anyone from using this moving company. Worst customer services! My story goes like this. Ordered 2 PODS and recognized the afternoon of loading I was likely to want a different one. I phoned PODS and asked that a brand new container along with the phone lasted for 2 hours and fifteen minutes. Additionally, I advised the pickup for several of the PODS afterwards affluent and was confident all three could be saved at Montgomery, AL, that are the nearest storage facility which would send for my new address in Auburn, AL.. The tech told me to only call around three days until I had them delivered to this new address and also there would not be any situation. That was a major matter. They did not save my PODS at Montgomery, they saved them at Birmingham and maintained they had five times for three and transit day for shipment. I talked to three or even four managers and no one can do anything to receive my own PODS about the day I asked. They did state that when my PODS could have been saved in Montgomery such as they stated there wouldn’t have been some problem. THEIR FAULT! They add an accounts inspection and some man called and said they dropped the 2:15 minute call I had together. He credited my account $100 bucks and said essentially take it or leave it and he did not need to give me anything. So I recognized I was becoming my PODS about the first date that they stated. I transferred my whole family down the day ahead because all 3 PODS were scheduled to have been sent. They simply delivered two of those three and said another one was not scheduled. I asked whether somebody could only please get the Birmingham centre and see whether they could make an exclusion and send it the next day however had been satisfied with the conventional”which isn’t our policy or process”. I needed to push my own family back into my parent’s home to stay together for a week as the 1 POD they did not send would be the only one with all of our furniture. It’s carrying them nine extra times to send my final POD and I am needing to take more holiday time off to unload it. They also charged me for and extra month of storage since due to their error the PODS have been in storage for over 30 days and they do not prorate monthly storage charges. I won’t ever use this provider again. They’ve ONE project, to deliver/store PODS plus they can not even do this right. WHEN they make an error, and they’ll, they won’t mend it. They’ll let you know to submit and accounts review and somebody will contact you in 3-5 days. Not 1 time did I phone them and spend less than one hour on the telephone. If you request a manager, they place you on hold for half an hour and then return on saying they’re busy.

    DO NOT USE PODS

It’ll not be possible to urge POD’s to some family, friends or business partners on account of the incorrect quoting, billing and customer service that they offer. The PODS themselves not match the true room dimensions that they state so that you ought to always expect you to have to add on to your current order. We’re currently dealing with a problem for our global move regarding incorrect charging and compounding the matter is nonresponsive and insufficient customer support to deal with the problems. The all-purpose quotation which I spoke with the agent in excellent detail was materially different then the way their charging system finally invoiced us for. The bill was inaccurate and several mistakes have caused POD’s charging us for further costs that were then automobile paid on our charge card which has been in the computer system. To compound the issues we have with all the wrong billing has become the dismal customer services. We began to tackle the problems in early September and we’re now in the end of November and there’s been no settlement. We’ve created weekly calls to their customer support toll online detailing the problems with different brokers with expectations and promises that somebody might call us to talk and fix (THEY HAVE CONTACTED US BUT NOTHING HAS BEEN CORRECTED AND THEY ARGUED WITH US OVER THE QUOTE). The bill was so incorrect and full of fees and concessions that it required a complete day to reconcile the accounts to where it ought to be (28 LINES SHOULD HAVE BEEN BILLED, 81 LINES ON OUR ACCOUNT WITH ANOTHER 23 TO CORRECT THE BILLING). I will say that the team who perform delivery and pick from these PODs themselves were great! However, based on the general price and client support I would advise that a complete service transfer.

Within 24hrs of submitting this review to Yelp I got a call by an Executive Resolution Specialist. We thought now we’d have settlement but this individual was impolite, belittling and totally horrible. Placing all attribute on us and taking no obligation instead of even searching for the mess they’ve made. DO NOT USE PODS!

Fraud, false charges, lies to costumers, no shows for deliverys, and not picking up pods.

About one year ago I was coping with a very major matter. I’d spoke to more than 2 dozen different client support agents, 4 accounts supervisors, and emailed collaborate. Nobody can help me reach the bottom of the. Some might say that they did but it never occurred. I were charged incorrectly and billed for redelivery fees which never occurred. I’d speak with a representative and they’d say sorry and correct the fees to then get a telephone call saying that my things were up for auction. I’d already had my pods dropped off and off a barbell sat out before the home to get 2 1/2 weeks because of the the pods not matching in my own driveway. One was about the road before the neighbors home. They stated they’d be back another day to pick this up and did not show for months. I kept getting phone calls stating that my stuff will be set up for auction if my stuff was already in my home and now I have been transferred in for more than a week. Whenever I called customer support to schedule a pick up they said that my account is to hold for years due balance. I didn’t have a past due balance I paid all my bills on time as my credit card was to record and had been automatically debited each month. I called pods and arranged a fall of for those pods for February 6th and they never showed. (I’d emails to establish all this). The bunny never came I phoned and they stated a fall off was not scheduled! So I needed to program again to the next Saturday since they could not deliver pods daily. So that left me need to dwell in a home with no kitchen or beds provides for weekly with three children. No cooking or furniture utincels!!! Following my pods have been sent to the 13th I got an email stating that my account was due for an extremely large sum and they billed me redelivery charges (that I never created any redelivery’s) and that they had been putting up my stuff for auction but they never revealed the very first date I ordered! I informed them that I have my things and already moving in. They explained that they had no listing of this and a week after they stated I requested to redeliver on another day! All of this is all lies and FRAUD! They did not even know that I had the pods and had been transferred in. They chose to call and maintain a equilibrium was past because of redelivery fees and my stuff has been sold at auction. I’d tell them my items is transferred and their own pod is outside front vacant waiting to be picked up. They’d say sorry and promise to correct it and organize a pickup. Following fourteen days of the I wished to do would be get the bunny picked up. It was vacant, all of my stuff has been transferred and it’d been outside on the road for 2 1/2 months. I’d tickets from the authorities to this being there (that I obtained waived thank goodness). I contacted a lot of different collaborate people thru mails and telephone calls. Nobody would yield any of my mails or abandoned messages. They eventually chose the POD upward 2 1/2 weeks afterwards and never heard from them again until the night (almost exactly a year after ) I got a phone at 8pm I was delivered to collections within a past due balance of redelivery fees…I am so upset it has been a year following this night mare plus it is back. I won’t ever work with pods! I’m going to court tomorrow to submit an action contrary to them.

Doing business using PODS has been superb. They came when I asked and at the time they stated. They addressed all of my concerns and provided assistance once I requested for it. Everything came as I packaged it and was pleased to see nothing came broken.
This was a really positive experience and the price was superb. I strongly urge PODS and will use them again should I proceed.

WARNING!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! SERIOUSLY. They’ll maintain your possesions hostage and cost additional charges. They won’t ever offer you an immediate quotation. As soon as they have your items they’ll automatically withdraw money from the accounts. If you attempt to take you charge card away there charging, they could refuse to ship you the Pod. They’ll make you sign an aggreement absolving them of some responsiblity of the state of your items until they provide it. If you do not sign it then refuse to provide. It’s a SCAM! They’re CRIMINALS!!!!

Unhelpful, poorly trained people I have ever dealt with- canceled my delivery with out telling me PO

I graduated college in the end of December was interviewing in a couple of distinct areas. Employing POD storage device before I understood where I had been going looked like the ideal solution. Plus it was, before I attempted to receive my things back. They then became the funniest, badly trained individuals I’ve ever addressed.

After registering my rent for flat, POD was the very first call I chose to establish a time shipping period. During the first week, I spoke to several different client support representatives who all gave me different directions on what I want to prepare a delivery (not the reference a quotation into’drop-off/ pickup month’s lease delivery and / once I was apparent that they already had my belongings and I only wanted a finale shipping quotation ). The calls went something like this:

That very first weekend: yank your client # and phone back (that one looked pretty regular… I predicted back in a couple of mins). We want the final 4 digits of their credit card # (OK good, but why could not the very first man tell me this?)

By The close of the week: Oh yes, we could observe that this is the accounts, but we’ve got it set to get a local shipping not a very long distance. You will have to begin using another division. (WHAT?!! I have been telling everybody what I want done….No one stated it had been the incorrect division….and at no stage was this kind of local transfer )
New Department-Yes, we have you consideration and that delivery date available. However, I am sorry; you are not the contact title we have. Would you buy [My Mother’s name] to put up this for you personally?  (Again, I recognized myself with my title on every other telephone call….where was the piece of education?????)

My Mother calls the following day, and they can’t send my POD on the requested date since it was a very long distance move and it’ll take a another two weeks’ notice.  We envision it as to not lose the chance, however, are still on the lookout for a quicker/cheaper manner and are advised that it may be summed up to a few of days before.

I start getting telephone call, differently, concerning an unsigned record on their site. However, the’music record’ has not yet been uploaded into your own account. While I phone to describe this, I’m told the arrangement is singed!! This is incorrect for two essential reasons:1) I have not singed it. In actuality, I’m on the site since I call backagain. Still not even uploaded.  2) When it’s singed, why are you currently robo-calling me?

Yesterday evening , I need to cancel the shipping since I’ve still a couple of days to accomplish this, and that I have plans to maintain the first city (Jackson) in approximately two months anyhow. It appears cheaper to simply pick up my things while I am there and pushing back here (Atlanta). I’ve previously paid to substitute a whole lot of my possessions because I received my flat about two weeks back and will need to reside inside.
    –  I need to cancel, and then request when I wish to shipping set to? I clarify that I don’t since I’ll be seeing Jackson in fourteen days and plan on obtaining my things myself. He affirms the cancellation and after that again inquires concerning rescheduling, and again I clarify that I’ll pick it up myself. I then inquire about obtaining my POD once I enter Jackson. Turns out my stuff was sitting in a POD storage device in Atlanta for more than a week!

The shipping problem was not long space as it had been here prior to the very first request shipping date. Not here in my flat. I may not have managed to transfer my furniture myself….but my telling me how that I only restocked my kitchen while all my previous things was 30 miles off? Wouldn’t I be receiving some Sort of monitoring upgrades?

I suppose I can not cancel a couple of days earlier because I’ve already acquired a part of this shifting fee. Again, that could have been great information upfront.

Why on earth was I not informed that the POD was transferred BEFORE delivery has been canceled? I informed him I was choosing up my stuff from Jackson. I obviously did not understand that it wasn’t at Jackson, however he’d and canceled my delivery prior to demonstrating that.

I say never mind, if it’s at Atlanta, go on and deliver it this weekend as scheduled. At that time they man says’I am sorry that shipping date is no longer available, just about (insert date that’s beyond my monthly lease deadline and will trigger the next month’s rent)I do not mind paying a second month’s rather than the shipping, however today I’m being charge equally? Although I phoned and cancelled until the Established delivery, as I had been informed I can perform?
Now let us discuss some instruction Problems That could have left this all go better:
1- that the very first person ought to have been apparent; what section I had, what info I desired, and that must call.
Two – I might have been granted upgrades when my material was moved so that I understood it had been here, and in what stage I was being bill for it.
3- The man I spoke to the night ought to have advised me that my stuff has already been transferred before cancelling! He understood I thought that I could get if in the first site.

    – I couldn’t agree more with the man who said” they’ll hold your things hostage” which is precisely what I really feel like right now. The very first part, overall run-around I could cope with—– However, to have my own delivery stop without being advised that it was already moved is inexcusable!!!

    Your Items ARE NOT INSURED!!!

I had been seeking to transfer in Las Vegas to out of Cleveland and that I originally found PODS for an excellent source to proceed. They shed the POD off, so you fill this up, they pick this up and send it to a destination.

Upon booking, they stated my things were composed to a particular volume. I had been thinking, good that will work out nicely if anything breaks in transit.

Well guess what… A LOT was broken in transit!

My sofa got scraped up, television stand ruined, treadmill destroyed, novel case ruined, pub stool ruined.

So of course that I put in a promise. Well…. It was refused. I moved back and forth together and they promised that it had been the movers duty in Vegas. I phoned them and they would not take the promise either, nor would I blame them. I saw that the movers plus they did a excellent job. They really took the opportunity to pay and wrap around everything and strategically place things from the POD.

So I leave you on this… If you believe that your things are insured together with your POD, then they aren’t so use it at your own risk. If you are things become damaged in transit, then you are screwed!

Additionally, when booking make certain to state their first cost is too high and they’ll return a few hundred bucks for you.

    Disappointed with PODS

We packaged a POD the end of May at St. Louis, and we all were assumed to get our own POD on June 27. The POD wasn’t sent on June 27. If my husband phoned, the business apologized for their error and said they’d send it shortly. After four telephone calls, they eventually gave us a shipping date which was just two weeks later they originally promised to provide our supplies. They stated that July 11 was that the soonest they can provide our POD.

Earth is July 11. When we didn’t get a telephone call about our shipping tomorrow, we called to learn about our shipping. The business cried again and stated that though it was apparent from the pc notes that our POD was likely to be sent elsewhere, the worker did not really schedule our shipping for tomorrow. The worker said he’d attempt to send it to us tomorrow, but when we could not get it tomorrow, that the things that they can get it to us are this Saturday.

We continue to await our supplies.

I haven’t been so disappointed or tricked earlier in my entire life. Chooseing PODs is just one of my main regrets for my own transfer and I haven’t experienced more unprofessionalism, lying or miscommunication in a whole business in my entire life. They had been just receptive and helpful and type till they obtained our credit card info, then, it was a dreadful match of being handed back and forth at which I might not get ahold of one individual to answer any queries. I had been assured gaurantees that their workers are apparently not permitted to do that’s contrary to their policy like garaunteed pick up instances, shed times and delivery dates. They also neglected to write thorough notes inside my accounts, and even when they did, the notes were not acted upon. My bunny was sent with water damage, overdue, and matters were ruined inside. I registered an episode claim and also my expertise with following up with all the claim was only a constant experience of being handed back and forth, not obtaining any advice or upates about the status of my claim, and I was likewise transfered between representatives who never reached me out to allow me to understand that they were currently handling my situation. It’s been a complete nightmare from begin to finish after they took my cash and their degree of kindness, transparency, clarity, honesty and professionalism was a complete disgrace. I’ve been actively telling everybody contemplating using PODs to not and will proceed to because of my personal experience that’s been dragging on and off together. I’ll be stunned if I ever hear out of some of the customer service representatives in relation to my own incident. It’s essential to remember that we picked this business over another because of their blantant lies that they offered us that was clearly said to me personally by a senior representative that was rigorously contrary to their business policies, so many brokers were amazingly impolite, combattant and irrational. I’ve not been so digusted with a business providing this form of support in my own life.

I received the 16 ft POD recorded to be great for a 3 to 4 bedroom house. However it’s a whole lot smaller than it’s promoted to be. My couch couldn’t ft vertical because of obstruction from the beams onto the surface of the pod. About a half of the things that I needed to place in there didn’t match, such as two bedroom collections, a fridge, office furniture, and 2 love seats. The men that helped mepersonally, I received through the PODS.com site, they had been horrendously slow, and inefficient in utilizing the space available, so that may have been a factor. The POD was sent two days late, without the explanation supplied. So I needed to change my shifting plans quite appreciably. Overall I’m Very displeased with this business and Wouldn’t recommend it to anybody

    Poorest Moving Company Ever

This really is the worst company I have ever dealt with. The absence of communication between facilities and agents is abysmal. The agents are preprogrammed to offer you exactly the exact same repetitious answers. I prearranged everything 3 weeks prior to my move date. I obtained a two hour window late on the day for my POD shipping date, and then received a call in the afternoon that it had been delivered that afternoon , well before the scheduled time. I made an appointment to hurry home for your delivery. The POD was filled and ready for pickup on the assigned date, but nobody arrived to pick this up. I watched from my window through the two hour period it had been to be picked up, and continued viewing. I began calling Client Service the following day, Sunday, to discover why nobody arrived. The supervisor that I was finally connected with forced every attempt to contact somebody from the Boston region. Much to my dismay no arrived before late on Monday. I got no telephone, however I watched to complete process from my flat window. The following evening I received a call from a POD rep saying my POD was sent into the wrong facility, and it’d be postponed getting to Nashville. As soon as I attempted to have a time and date, I had been told it could be updated online. Eventually I had been told it’d be sent a while on Friday, five days late from the first agreed upon Monday. As soon as I attempted to receive a time window that I had been told that was not possible. The brand new apartment complex necessary scheduling a time to get your loading dock. Not understanding a moment, this became impossible. All calls to PODS were useless as I was always told there wasn’t any way to organize time windows. I eventually did receive my own POD delivered onto the road. Fortunately Diamond Movers was quite accomodating. Alex rearranged programs and sent two guys to unload my POD. They never complained even though they needed to move everything out of the road to the flat at the warmth of the day.

As soon as I requested PODS when they could select the POD up precisely the exact same day that they dropped it off in my apartment complex so that I could envision a time for the unloading dock, then I had been told that could be an extra charge. This firm does nothing to assist you. I even bought my very own moving blankets since their leasing fee is greater than purchasing them.

In conclusion, I just got a call saying I would get no compensation since it had been my fault that the POD was picked up late. They said the POD was obstructed by cars. This is totally false as you can find pylons obstructing the distances on both sides of the POD. Someone made a mistake and then tried to blame it on me, the client. This really is the worst kind of customer service I have ever struck. I presume they don’t base their business on repeat clients. Nobody requires this extra stress when attempting to proceed. I’d have been pleased if any effort was made to assist me through a challenging situation instead of blame me. 1 last note, this apartment complex doesn’t recommend them either.

    Absolutely terrible

Called to program an POD delivery weeks ahead of time and had been told the credit card will be charged 5 days before delivery of this POD (talked to Chrissie). Upon entry of the square footage from the POD, I decided that I’d need more place and known as back to ask to bring a 7′ POD to some already existing arrangement to get a 16′ POD. I had been advised that there could be an extra $1950.39 fee in addition to the currently $3260.07. This would put having PODs over a FULL SERVICE MOVE!!!! Ridiculous. Instantly, I advised the agent (Travis) that I would need to think about different choices, due to the superb price. He explained that I was advised to do so, and that there would not be a cancellation fee provided that as I cancelled within 1 day of scheduled delivery. I also called and set up a separate business to provide storage components, and also called to offset the PODs on 07/15, the identical day I talked to another firm and made agreements. I just got a bill in the email and checked my credit card statement. PODs still billed me the first fee before delivery. As soon as I phoned, I had been told that the agent ought to have informed me 5 BUSINESS days before delivery, that is really seven calendar days. I said that it was not beneficial to discover out that today, which I had the cash back in my card to utilize it for my own transfer. They informed me it’d be 2-5 business days, even though another firm coming on 07/20. Afterward, a supervisor was set on the telephone (Trey), that advised me that it would be 3-5 business days and when I needed to submit a dispute complaint with my bank card business, I’d be billed twice as his partner had already processed the refund though I would not have access to it to the upcoming fourteen days. The inconsistency and fees were something I’d read about before booking using PODs, but that I did speak to a few men and women who had favorable experiences, therefore I chose to offer them a go. NEVER AGAIN!!!! I’m grateful they’re not moving my things and will post an update to the after my relocation is finished, so I can offer an honest appraisal of the firm I’m really needing to move and save my products.

    Horrible customer service and misrepresentation

PODS is a dreadful business with unresponsive customer services. They seem to be not able to react to consumer needs and tricked me each step along the way such as prices, pickup agreements and delivery date. I moved across country with my loved ones and also they handed me an estimated date of birth which has been 9 days away. It took a week to allow them to pick up an empty container however they kept telling me that they were coming earlier. Blatant lies and misrepresentation. I am able to treat someone telling me it’ll take 9 times; I can not tolerate somebody giving me bogus info or telling me exactly what I need to listen and do nothing happen. HORIBLE EXPERIENCE OVERCHARGED

I won’t ever use PODs again and don’t recommend their services to anybody. Very bad customer services. Received 1st delivery of bunny that was damaged and moist in that was picked up and then 3 days later obtained 2nd pod that had a great deal of dirt indoors and sand left on the driveway that I needed to sweep and wash and eliminate nails before packaging my furniture indoors. I had been over charged over $500 for the two pods for storage and delivery charges and a re-delivery fee for my 2nd pod even after the first one was picked up (which I had been to just be billed for 1 pod which was sent ). After a few months (June – August) and phoning talking with accounts manager then charging manager and mgrs. In accounting and customer service problem still not resolved to issue a charge for the additional charges on my card and was charged the following re-delivery fee with no advised that this was likely to modify the cost that is less than 5 kilometers off but again never was advised of those charges. Its a rip off and everybody I’ve spoken to I can’t take their word whatsoever because they don’t follow through at all. Still waiting to get my call returned after leaving voice messages and phoning wasting my energy and time being put on hold without a hot transfers whatsoever and having to repeat myself again over the many transfers.

They had been in a major hurry to take my cash but nothing went well then. 1. When POD came and has been picked up from my house in NY the trucks gear ruined our driveway. They were also later than said picking up the POD. After the POD attained its final destination that they were far sooner than they said waking the whole neighborhood up before 7am using the copy horn of the giant truck. Then as soon as they dropped off it they explained that they couldn’t pick this up for 5 times. (And town law Doesn’t let that long of a time parked)

    HORRIFIC and STRESSFUL experience- AVOID!!

I can’t seem to find a straight answer on anything once I contact PODS. Everytime I call I must wait for annoying hold music to speak to someone just to be told that they can not assist me and I want to get moved to a different department to wait for annoying hold music again and be informed that they cant help me. It is like Dante’s outer circle. They give you the run around and nobody follows up or really cares about helping you. Everytime I call I get a different response on what I feel like I am on a game series to assess the potential of individual frustration.
Besides wasting hours upon hours of my entire life with their hopelessly incompetent”Customer Support” team, my main beef with PODS is a fiscal one. HOLY HIDDEN CHARGES BATMAN. After lent the amount it would cost for my cross country move I gave me the pre-tax quantity. They also neglected to disclose that I’d be billed 2, yes two! Entire months of storage 205 apiece for utilizing the POD for 13 days, since the times spanned two distinct months and they do not prorate as a coverage. I bet they dont. So I have now paid over $600 over that which I had been quoted involving the unmentioned tax and also the two months (for 13 times ) storage.
They are now stating that they won’t provide the POD unless I pay an extra $180 delivery fee, but too, never revealed to me. (see a theme here?) I’m moving into a metropolitan city and also have had to get special and costly moving licenses (that I had to visit City Hall for!) For my particular movement dates and have hired movers around the most moving busy day of the entire year. They basically held my home hostage and said they simply”wont appear” when I do not pay them the $180 fee (somehow not contained in the $2400 I already paid to transfer the POD) That’s extortion!!
I believe that it is DISGRACEFUL to see to the customers who’ve chosen to work with you in this manner, gouging them, giving them the run around and hauling their home hostage. PODS is a cluttered, greedy business that does not care about their clients at all. In addition to the deep stress of a cross country move, I have this to take care of?! From a business I’ve already paid thousands of dollars to? SHAME ON YOU PODS for making my movement a living nighmare. I would not urge you to my worst enemy.

They hide information to charge you more

Everything was okay during my very first telephone to hired them. Obviously it was likely to become professional. Everything went well for the very first phase of charging the ceremony (Fall of container in IL). I predict they say okay will be there. They CALL me to allow ME KNOW my container was to be delivered between N hour and N on Saturdays. I received my CC billed $400+. I call to inquire why so much and they state it was $140-180 for the fall and one month of storage. I told them the vendor on the telephone told me that the 1st month was free because of a particular they had this month. That! was a lie. For the next point (Transport ), I phone them to send the container but alternatively to my new address for their own storage facility as where I reside now do not allow containers. They send me an email confirming that point and my cost of $2,300+. I call now since I never heard from them and also their site did not say nothing about wherever my container was. To me, she explained that the container came 2 days back for their centre and that THEY NEVER CALL clients. Hum, I received calls throughout each stage except with this one? I mentioned. I even told her their website does not even state DATES of anything except when they charge your CC. Now I must paid them a second couple of storage in the sum of $305.00. And I am the one choosing my things with a truck in their own facility.

WOW! The degree of deceit connected with PODS Storage and Moving is off the charts. I am quite surprised that they have not been tapped on the shoulder using a Class Action Lawsuit. This organization and its workers will say/quote you something and then completely turn around and do exactly the reverse. They make the most of people in times of high pressure whilst going and expect you’ll only go off quietly while they gain profusely. Be cautioned PODS for I’m sure it will not be too long until somebody corrects the large number of clients you’ve CHEATED!

    Horrible customer relations

I’d moved 1000 miles away from state to state. I needed to alter my own container to a far smaller. In my perception, I was still charged the charge for the bigger one. They refused to pickup container once I wanted them to. Pick up has been scheduled for their own convenience, not mine. (yes I gave them lots of period ), hince my container sat at the driveway for little over 2 months in warm, humid Texas weather. They didn’t get me that someone had left their vehicle in my drivway at the front of the container, and that had to become reschedule. They never achieved for me personally about some of those issues we had. I always called for all upgrades. I had been guaranteed an overview and reimbursement. I didn’t understand it had been demied before I did their poll. Again, regardless of communication. This dreadful customer encounter was my very first and final time utilizing POD.They don’t have any interest in keeping loyalty nor pride of the clients nor high quality of their enterprise. My view is that they lack communication skills, business and honestly showed no empathy nor cared for the circumstance. I won’t ever recommend them to one individual.

    Fraudulent and deceptive

I purchased a POD for late July but not got a confirmation email. I could not get the data online. I called to alter the date along with the rep appeared my prior order and could not locate it. We reasoned it’d never gone through. Therefore, we started a brand new purchase. It ends up that the initial purchase was listed, however they had the incorrect email address, so I never got any info. I didn’t confirm the purchase, nor did I finish the online contract. I never heard in PODS at all. Therefore, they went and sent the POD I had called to cancel and that they informed me had not been listed in an arrangement. They then charged me $660 for shipping.

I contested the charge through my credit card business. PODS went and re-billed mepersonally, adding ANOTHER $685 for my charge card, while the dispute was actually process! My credit card company got me at a 3-way talk using a PODS dispute expert. This guy claimed that they had no telephone record of my phone once I called to cancel, even however they had a listing of my first call to put the order! They handily lost the crucial recording. He was also a bully, so much so that my charge card rep said that I could depart the telephone call while they coped with him.

In the long run, my credit card company caved since they do not possess the listing of my credit the purchase. And only a week, PODS re-billed me to get the next charge–that the storage cost of $685, that is totally fraudulent since they picked up a vacant POD that they never have to have sent.

In conclusion, they sent a POD I had attempted to cancel and billed me for this, handily lost the list of my phone, and followed up by charging me for storage of this POD. They never supported the arrangement, I never signed up the internet contract, plus they lost the first order so I had no access to this. Then they followed up with a deceptive storage fee.

Now, I’ve contacted a lawyer since PODS has obviously acted with fraudulent business practices and now my credit card business is complicit in letting them charge for a ceremony never left.

I have talked one buddy from utilizing PODS plus I will make certain to tell many, many more. They might get $1,300 out of mepersonally, but I shall be certain you cost them much, much more in lost company.

Failure to pickup pod as agreed

Contracted using POD for 2 months use. When called to validate pickup on last evening that they had been not able to offer pickup on such date so I’m charged an additional full month’s charge for three additional days.I’m billed since they do not need a truck to eliminate POD once consented.
A entire rip off! I believe that is a business strategy to rip off customers.

    Overcharged and treated badly

    DO NOT USE PODS

Hi, I’m unhappy with my support with PODS. Heres my first story.

I phoned and got an estimate to proceed from OH to CA on 8/18/17- my quotation was to get 2889.90+ taxation ( such as drop off, pickup, 1 weeks’ rent, transport, redeliver, along with closing empty container pickup). My very first pickup had been scheduled for 8/24/17. Driver came following my window, and would not abandon it in my drive because I’d trees dangling rather low, and the’d harm the gear. He also wouldn’t abandon it at the road trigger there was a vehicle in the neighbor’s home. He left. I rescheduled for 8/26/17. I waited around to make certain that there were not any cars around the road, and it may be delivered. Nobody showed up or called. I called customer support a few of times, and they said positive, youre scheduled but that is all we could say. Thus Sunday 8/27/17 I have a call from Gary in the regional pods, plus he stated he does not understand what happened, but he’d ensure it got picked up first thing Monday afternoon 8/28/17. Plus it did. However, in turn I got a charge of 75$ and tax! How was that my fault? Ok so on 9/6/17, by now I am in CA, having a speech, so that I advised my pick-up 9/11/17, using a redeliver fee for my brand new home on 9/22/17 plus a closing bare pickup on 9/25/17. Great! But, nobody showed up on 9/11/17. No telephone. Nothing. Again I achieved to Gary in the Native Pods. He explained there was nothing about the program, but hed placed me on first thing 9/12/17. He did, and it had been picked up. So here im believing that it had been on its path. Nope. I predicted last night 9/20/17. And the container remains sitting at Toledo. The agentm was kind of rude, and sais”well you did not program it, you need to do this!” . Obviously I already did this. So today I’m not likely to receive my things ( if it even comes today ) before 9/30/17! I’m here working, etc with all my family things nonetheless in Toledo. And of course there’s far longer the 3200$ of fees to my credit card up to now. It appears everyday I receive:a new invoice from PODS”. My closing pickup of this empty container would be around 10/2/17, which places me in another month’s rent, and it is not my fault. However, I had been advised that more than probably I will be billed for this.

Im disappointed, it does not appear that it’s gone well, and that I still am not near getting my things. I’ve got a family, along with all our possessions must be listed in CA together. Rather were eating off paper plates, and plastic silverware, employing a mini refrigerator, and visiting the laundrymat because our material isnt here yet. That was intended for, however that additional week, will be mad!

And of course that the additional fees, I do not even understand why it might possibly be within my initial quotation.

    Upgrade:
Called 9/20/17 to confirm shipping of container to Ca address. Spoke with Jewel in Client Services. She suggested that it hadn’t even left yet, which there was not anything program in the computer system. She insinuated that it had been my fault I had not scheduled it whatsoever, and was really rude about it to me.
Rescheduled to get 9/30/17 to be sent.
Called 9/29/17 talked with Lesha, and she stated the container had abandoned Toledo on 9/27/17 because that has been the scheduled date, and that it would not arrive before 10/11/17! I know I chose the perfect date. Again that is my fault.

10/12/17 Container was eventually delivered after phoning again to get it delivered.
10/16/17: vacant container has been picked up.

I’ve some damage to things too: that I’ve recently filed a claim to get.

My sofa was completely destroyed – it came covered in black mould. Value $899
My sons dresser and cubby were destroyed halfway up with water damage and mildew. Value $200
Bag of clothing (sealed) were filled with mould. Value $200
7 or 6 college / instruction novels were totally water logged and destroyed. Value $ 200
I don’t really believe that the harm could have been achieved when the container was not delivered so late. I had been living from a bag for an additional two 1/2 weeks which has been unnecessary. I wasted some time being home awaiting them to ensure it’d be delivered/ picked up. Due to the additional time it must be sent, I was not able to assist load it, which costed longer time.
From begin to finish that was a tragedy. I don’t believe I was treated correctly, or billed properly.

PODS will not give me some cash back, and once I contested fees through bank card, they found that the simple fact that I signed the first arrangement, which I did, however they put up you on autopay, and charge whatever they want then.

    DO NOT USE PODS

So my POD full of the contents of my house got delivered now. Regrettably, the POD doorway is currently broken. While I could open the doorway, I could no longer shut and lock it – pretty important do not you believe? PODS sent out someone to examine it but apparently they are not able to resolve the doorway onsite. They were eventually able to drive the door shut and lock it however I managed to perform the same. I am not a 250lb man and I am not really strong enough. It is clear something occurred to the doorway in transit since I managed to shut and lock itself before.

I called customer support again and they had two hints:
    1. Live with it. Apparently, having the capability to ensure the contents isn’t significant for them.
    2. They’d bring a vacant POD outside to replace it but I would be liable for bearing the cost of overhauling the initial POD and reloading it to some brand new POD. Certainly inconveniencing the client and inducing them to incur additional expenses because of their gear malfunction make great sense does not it?

The point is, their gear will be broken and they place all of the responsibility and blame on to the client to cope with this. Unbelievable. Supposedly, a manager is trying to find other alternatives and will phone me right back. I am not holding my breath.

Unlike their selling things, I don’t have ready access to my possessions, my contents aren’t secure and that I have zero control over the circumstance.

    This is totally unacceptable.

    Scheduling/ customer service/ driver

Where do I start? The driver struck my home together with the POD. Placed the POD at a Challenging spot to load. Subsequently scheduling could not find a date for 3 months to pick up the container. We (myself, my spouse, the new owners of this house ) all tried to explain that the only real place to place another POD was in the front of the very first POD. We attempted to alter dates so that the next POD will be delivered following the very first was picked up- that they could not do it. Delivered the next POD anyway. Schedule pickup for the very first POD was a week late. They showed up and then abandoned with no excuse – we presume because the next POD was at the manner – DUH. After phoning 6 more times and receiving different folks – they said that they sent out a driver but determined the invoice was late so did not pick it up- however the accounts had a legitimate debit card on file- they simply had not charged it. And why can you send out a motorist prior to assessing the accounts balance??! I’m still attempting to have a pickup scheduled to maneuver a POD that’s sitting on land that I have not possessed fourteen days. I’ve yet to speak to anybody in this business that is not a complete fool and I have probably talked to over 20 individuals. They possess the most futile customer support. I won’t ever use them again. There’s another family members and two realtors who’ve got to watch this. I hope they spread the word far and wide.

    Sounds good at first

When I first called to receive my quote to utilize PODS, the customer support was fantastic and the pricing was so good, so I moved together for my transfer out of New Orleans to Atlanta. Its been 3 weeks and I am currently settled and predicted to receive my own POD delivered into my new house. All the sudden things are extremely different. The client support with every person I have spoken to as my first call was awful, horrible customer support, to the verge of unprofessional and rude. The pricing has now tripled to receive my own POD delivered. Now I know quotes are only great for such a long time, but had I understood the cost could jump that far, then I would have only paid for the complete transfer of my POD into Atlanta and had it saved up here, not still in New Orleans. In addition, they’ve added on two additional charges I wasn’t quoted the very first time, or if I predicted last month simply to have an notion about what it might wind up costing. Additionally, the turnaround period was originally 3-5 days, today I am being advised at the minimum of 7-10 days. Its like my own stuff has been held hostage and now I don’t have any recourse than to comply! I wouldn’t use PODS again, and if you do, then receive your first quote and cover to it all upfront since your cost will sky rocket as soon as they have your possessions in their ownership.

Don’t use pods ever, particularly in the event that you reside in an hoa. I utilized pods and wiii don’t do it again. The business is understaffed and their response for all customer questions will be to refer you to the comparison they have with you. On account of their understaffing and lack of customer support, I had been fined by HOA since pods required five days to pickup They are container. I was never advised that pickup from that provider is first come first serve. With just a couple drivers in south Florida that the organization isn’t able to meet any deadlines which their clients have. Additionally, the call centre does not have any managers and they just provide one answer to each queries. They refer you back to your contract. I am warning everyone in south Florida relating to this corporation. Never rely on them because I guarantee you wiii regret it!

    Woefully Incompetent

I’m very upset about how my company with PODS has improved. First off, it had been a costly option, although it made the most sense in that time- we had been moving from 1 side of the nation into Arkansas, staying with a relative while we hunted for a home. When I had been on the phone with the rep (who was fine), he asked me where I’d be moving to. I informed him we did not understand, but could be appearing in a specific city and the surrounding regions. He asked me to get a zip code simply to indicate for documents, so I gave him the one my comparative lives in.

At no time did this agent cite to me that these surrounding cities may be not able to get PODS support. All I was told was that when we proceed to a place not as close Little Rock as we all believed , we may need to use the Fayetteville or Jonesboro (or some thing ) PODS centre rather. This was fine by me.

We had our bunny dropped off and picked up just fine, the problem started after we eventually found a home, about twenty minutes away from the speech that I gave the PODS rep at first. So I phoned them up to receive my bunny delivered, and all of a sudden, they explained that they do not support that area. I was understandably distressed, since the entire movement was unbelievably stressful, which was totally surprising. Obviously, I never would have signed up with this pricey company if I believed they would not have the ability to deliver. They explained I would need to drive all of the way to Little Rock and unload my items there in my own expense, then load them in a truck, then unload them AGAIN back in the new home! That is absurd.

I requested to talk to a manager, but I had been denied that. The rep stated she talked to a in my benefit, and they still refused to provide. I inquired for escalation, they explained that they emailed the Little Rock PODS centre, but my request was refused yet again.

Here is the actual kicker though: they will send to the first speech, my relative’s home. I received her fine to do so, so the POD will currently be arriving here. The absurd part is that her speech is literally halfway up a long windy mountain road in the midst of nowhere. The speech I need it really delivered to is directly off the primary highway, an extremely simple drop-off point.

Additionally, I apparently will need to wait approximately 3 months to your bunny to be sent, which can be completely ridiculous too, particularly since I’m still being made to pay the identical amount I was initially quoted despite all the drawbacks. I’m rather mad, and I surely plan to discuss this story with everybody I could. I’ll also be submitting this review on several sites.

    Worse moving experience ever!

I gave pods one star only because you’ve got to chose a score. My move together was the worse ever and was in the army equally as active duty and civilian I have made a many motions. It was a nightmare, even although not 100% their fault. I feel that it might have cost less to possess professional movers transfer me and that I would not of had to take care of the packaging. The final straw was when my bunny was presumed to be sent I had my brother here to assist, we stayed in a hotel the night prior to pod was to be delivered and that I had been to fly him home two weeks later after him helping me with unloading pod. The pod did not appear in it’s delivery window, so after having an hour or so beyond the window I phoned and was told that somebody had called in sick so that it would be sent later that day. Later that afternoon I got a call and was told that the truck had broken down along with my pod would not be sent for the following four days, although it had been in town. This meant I needed to remain in a resort for another four days with my puppies and my brother had to fly home, so today I am out the price of 4 times resort stay and don’t have any help to unload bunny. I told the person on the telephone I wanted to submit a complaint, she took all of my advice and reason/s for criticism and explained I’d hear from an adjuster so that I could be paid but haven’t heard from anybody and it has been three months… I won’t ever use pods again!!!

    The Worst

PODS has the worst customer support I’ve ever encountered. They neglected to send my POD as promised, wouldn’t take responsibility for their mistake and provided me a ridiculous settlement of about $250.00 to a transfer that they billed $3200.00, and the additional expenses of an extra week at a resort.
I’ve since disputed charges with credit card company and they’ve discovered in our favor and reversed fees and today PODS is threatening to ship to 3rd party collections.
Don’t think what their site or agents say. They’ll quote you a cost, enter incorrect information then attempt to charge you to repair their mistakes, and you’ll not have any decision to pay since they have your own stuff!

PODS will charge extra fees they don’t advise you about on the telephone at the right time of booking! If you do not mind being taken advantage of, then utilize PODS. If unexpected charges disturb youpersonally, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! My whole shipping fee was assumed to be $973.49. They charged my cc for this charge 1/4/19. From nowhere, on 1/11/19 they charged my cc again to get an extra sum of $335.58.

As soon as I called to ask, I was advised that the excess charge was inserted to get mileage. This was not said once I supported the total for shipping of my possessions. Take note PODS will cost you hundreds of thousands more than that which they say during your purchase, and there isn’t anything you can do on it. Trust me with this one!

Inform us it wasnt their own obligation to inform us this info. We needed to call our own neighbors whenever they were on holiday and move in their home and find the keys to maneuver their vehicle. Now, we are being advised that because we rescheduled pickup that only happened since they informed us we needed to because of the car being whatsoever. Now, we are being told that we had to reschedule delivery in the time that nobody told us. We’re assumed to be moving to our rental home that we’ve already paid first months rent on 4/8/19 and so are being told that our POD will not be here before the 4/16/19. DO NOT USE PODS. VERY bad customer services. The pod is taking up more than a 8 ft broad part of our drive and Pods says they are not able to pick this up for one more week. We’re made to cover Pods for a week since they don’t have any resources to it select up prior to then. We were planning to maintain the bunny for per month. But once the gear that they use additional 2 feet in diameter for positioning in our drive, we had them to come and pick up their container earlier. We had been advised at booking the reservation which if we want them to come and receive the pod earlier that it would not be any issue. We’re unable to park our cars in the driveway and it is also slow down our renovation advancement also as a result of insufficient accessibility to our drive. Pods just response is that they’ll tell us if a spot opens before to get a driver to pick up their container. I will never use Pods again and again regret doing this. Dropped a Pod in my driveway, caused $4000 in damage and denied claim

Buyer beware!’ I contracted pods for the interstate movement. When the fourth and third pod was sent the third came but not the fourth. I phoned and they stated it had been on the road. They came a couple of minutes later and began unloading the bunny. I heard noise out along with a single quite loud sound, but did not think anything of it. I looked in a brief while after and the delivery man was gone and that he did not send the bunny! I phoned and they hadn’t any idea exactly what occurred. Subsequently sent somebody else out to send a second pod. After they had been stuffed and removed I found the driveway was crushed in! We’re supposed to shut the home the following day, however it is now postponed until we receive it repaired!

    Nightmare from beginning to end

I had a POD delivered to my house in improvement of listing my house for sale. It came on a Tuesday, and I was not able to begin loading until Saturday. As soon as I started the POD that afternoon, I found that water had leaked at most over the bottom of the POD. Worse however, black mould was found on the walls. Happily, I hadn’t been saving anything within it. I phoned and explained the issue and asked to get a complete refund and also POD pickup. After a great deal of hassle, I consented, and I believed the issue has been solved. The POD was picked up once I had been in the office. As soon as I came home I found that the driver had lost that the POD in my ac condenser, crushing it outside repair and causing almost $4,000 worth of damage. Neither PODS nor the motorist called to inform me about it. I phoned PODS once again and has been advised that the motorist had registered an incident report, and I’d hear back from somebody at”about 30 times”. Since then was clearly an unacceptable response, I needed to submit a claim with my homeowners insurer, who, mercifully, processed the claim immediately. NEVER USE THIS SERVICE. Been an more than 5 week difficulty trying to find same-day pickup scheduled to the POD according to needed with my apt complex. Customer service known as the neighborhood centre and left emails several times within the span of the 5 months plus NOBODY WOULD ANSWER OR RESPOND. Then eventually a manager requires me back an hour ahead of my POD is supposed to be sent and informs me I am accepted for same day pickup FINALLY and then proceeds to inform me that I will spend $80 because of this. A mess from start to finish

A disclaimer permits the enterprise to set the POD in the”driver’s discretion”, which for us was a 25 minute drive away from our home maybe not in the drive as promised.

They then picked up our POD two days early without a notice and for no reason causing the contents to seem as though they went through a rock tumbler. Along with my shock once I went out to package the POD simply to locate the POD vanished, there isn’t any 24 hour support line nor GPS around the POD. Thus, we simply didn’t understand where our possessions were and received zero client services. Next, after we monitored it down the following day, since it had been picked up early, boxes which had begun neatly piled but not prepared for transportation had been smashed and strewn through the POD 24 hours prior to the true pickup date.

Ultimately, despite all of this really awful moving encounter, the Company didn’t apologize, but instead supplied me about a $200 charge if I register a kind barring me by departing testimonials similar to this one for additional possible clients.

We’d previously moved employing a extended carrier. I believe that it was Atlas? That cost us roughly $5,000 in 2006. We thought we would save money and gain flexibility with PODs, however in the long run, employing this technique cost us $4,770 after each of the ancillary costs were factored in but using a TON more work, annoyance, and stress on the part.

PODs just isn’t worthwhile. My father, who worked his entire career in storage & moving always utilized to say,”Customer support is all about the way the provider acts when things fail.” PODs was AWOL when the numerous areas of this movement went wrong.

Do yourself a favor, also to get a long distance movement… (Ours was approximately 1,500 kilometers ) just hire actual movers.

We moved from NY to CA with two months’ travel in between — PODs was presumed to transfer the container together with all our furniture and possessions to CA to an air-conditioned centre and have it waiting there for us. It however never made the transfer — I phoned them from CA to figure out they were storing it in a sexy NY warehouse for two months, and following numerous delays, fictitious automatic phone, email, and text alarms it took them the next **20 times ** to receive it across the nation! After all that it had been rejected in the CA boundary to get a gypsy moth on the exterior (probably picked up from the sexy warehouse in which the container shouldn’t happen to be!) . They nonchalantly stated it needed to be routed to Harvey, IL for therapy. REALLY??! That is 2000 miles away! What type of idiotic choice is that? There was no consultation, no choices or evidence presented to me personally. I have to have talked to some dozen client representatives and not one of these had a clue how to help me, or why this intense scenario had arisen; phoning them would be a waste of time since they’ll only direct you to your internet account that has the exact same lack of advice. Above all they can not offer any estimate of when we’ll get our possessions, let alone any reimbursement for the distress my family has suffered — all obligation is merely shrugged off. My entire home’s possessions is in limbo. They do not care we have been sleeping on the ground in our coats for months. They frankly do not care, and I hope they will not be in business much more, god forbid your container is at their hands whenever they fold.

Steer clear of this business unless you are simply moving useless crap you do not mind losing indefinitely. Otherwise you may really, really regret it.

    Customer Service

When I called to organize Pod support, pickup/storage/delivery, I wasn’t told that they could just deliver to my place on Thursday and Friday. I phoned 10/17/19, also talked with a dreadful customer support representative. I asked my pods be sent 10/30/19, that is the day after I close on my new house. She explained that they could not be delivered until 11/7/19 in the oldest, and just on Thursday’s and Friday’s. I’ve 4 Pods in storage and also cover $824/mo for storage. Obviously I need them before 11/1/2019 so I do not spend an additional $824! I repeatedly asked to talk to a manager and she refused to move me, until I wanted to talk to one since she wasn’t helping me. She wan’t empathetic, understanding, or adapting, she was essentially telling me it is my fault and there was no one to complain to because people are the rules! Dave, her Manager, could not help me either but atleast he’s client service skills! Someone has got to take responsibility for this matter. I am out $824 and certainly will maintain a new house with NOTHING to get a week.

    BEWARE, Crooks

Don’t use PODS transferring and Storage, they’ll float, cheat and steal away from you. They put you up to get a way to bill you more and hold your things hostage. They offset pickup dates resulting in more fees because you can’t get your items out at time. This is only one of the very dishonest businesses I’ve ever dealt with and also to top it off, so they laugh at mind when you attempt to inform them exactly what is happening, that’s IF they can direct one to a manager they say that they dont have. . These men are advised to lie along with the trouble starts at the very top. They’ll STEAL from you personally. BEWARE

    Horrible company

Please don’t use Pods. I believe that a gaggle of monkeys conducts this firm. Their site is futile. By way of instance, if you would like to program them to come pick up your Pod there is a connection in your accounts page. Great, I thought, that is simple. I click on the connection, it leads me into a dead end. Eventually I get about the conversation with somebody and he just says”You can not schedule a pickup in the site, you need to call the customer support number.” I inquired if I can not use the”program” link then why does this exist? He said I could not use the connection as my transfer is long distance. I clarified that I am in Albuquerque, also that I want the regional Albuquerque motorist to come receive the Pod and save it at Albuquerque. . .how is the long space? He could not reply.

On the evening prior to my Pod is supposed to arrive I receive an automatic telephone telling me that our Pod will arrive between 7am and 10 am. That is fine, I know they can not get more detailed than a 3 hour window. We perform with musical automobiles and receive the driveway emptied out and even had our neighbors that park on the road move their vehicle so as to provide the Pod motorist a lot of space to move since we had the largest Pod container, 16 ft. We get up early. We proceed all our automobiles. Our neighbor’s automobile. We wait. 10 am comes and goes. No phone call, no email. No nothing. Finally 5 pm comes. . .it’s getting dim. No Pod, no telephone call, no upgrade. No nothing. Approximately 7 pm I telephone the main number in Florida and tell them nobody showed up daily. They simply said that they’d reschedule it to the following moment. No explanation, no apology.

Two weeks after we are all set to get this god-forsaken business come and receive their vacant Pod. They scheduled it to the following day and stated I would find an automatic call after that night telling me exactly the three-hour window where they’d arrive. That is right, you guessed it. No telephone call. No email. No nothing. Again, I don’t have any idea if we will have to wake up at the crack of dawn to move automobiles and request neighbors to move their cars in the road near our drive. The following morning I get on the conversation with all the unhelpful”JR” worker. I stated”I had been told we’d receive a 3 hour window or arrival and we have heard nothing.” His brilliant and oh-so-unhelpful responses was”You’re supposed to find an automatic call yesterday evening .” I stated”I know I SHOULD have turned into a telephone, however I DIDN’T and that is the issue.” He only said”Our driver will call you if he is 30 minutes off.” I said that is not helpful because we had a great deal of vehicles to maneuver and prepare and because we had been asking neighbors to move their automobiles that is not something we needed to perform and then have their automobiles be transferred someplace else for 8 freaking hours beforehand. Then he said”Ensure that the Pod is unlocked and empty .” To put it differently, complete blows off my prior sentence (in conversation ) and does not wish to bargain with me since he has no answers for me.

The Pod itself is nice and I don’t have any complaints regarding the Pod. But if you would like somebody with an IQ of at least 85 to help organize delivery, pickup, drop-offs, etc., then don’t deal with this dreadful business. Notably for the exorbitant quantity of money that they charge for their services. They do not ever appear to understand what they’re speaking about, and worse, they just don’t care. You may pull your hair out dealing with these mental midgets. Opt for another corporation.

    DO NOT USE PODS

DO NOT USE PODS. While PODS was hauling my furniture, a hook came from the interior of the pod inducing the cable to come loose and things in the pod changed violently. This ruined two custom pieces of furniture. PODS has refused to compensate me for the harm that they obviously are accountable for. DO NOT USE PODS!!!

    Misleading Information!

Very disappointed!!! I reserved a POD on line and depending upon my speech in Alexandria, VA I had been given the choice to put the POD within my garden. Upon arrival the driver advised me that the POD has to be set on sidewalk and is not set in a lawn mower. If that is true, then why would be lawn placement even an alternative? When I named the business even a team member explained it may be set in the lawn, while others advised the driver it couldn’t. This business needs to have its act together and quit inconveniencing customers. I had been left a day in front of a huge move without onsite storage. Moving is irritating enough without needing incompetence like this. I won’t ever use this organization or recommend this business to anybody. Completely disappointed and frustrated with all the support and the answer to my issue.

    PODS - What a nightmare!

Last August, over half a year before, that a PODS driver arrived to pick one up of two components I’d leased from PODS as a consequence of the fires here in Los Angeles while fixing my property. In the practice of picking it up, the winch on wheels that they use to load and unload the device began swinging side to side, and ended up slamming in my trailer parked about five feet off, breaking a window out, scratching up the side of their trailer, and hammering off part of this fiberglass fender. The driver was quite apologetic, and told me someone would come out to correct the damage. Thus begins my story of woe.

I have leased from PODS many occasions through time, and also for the most part received excellent service from the men and women within the area and local offices, but direction and the corporate head office are THE WORST! If something like this ever occurs to you, prepare for weeks of absolutely unnecessary red tape, deliberate deflection, and blatant lies.

I submitted photographs along with a description of this episode, confirmed from the driver (I expect his honesty did not get him fired), and had been put in the hands of a”consumer advocate” in their corporate office. Seconds of requests for more photographs and much more documentation out of corporate followed, along with the girl helping me confided at a single stage which most people simply give up following her boss rejected yet another effort to proceed with the promise. The amount? Approximately $600, about exactly what I’d payed them EVERY MONTH while leasing units from them.

I am stubborn. More excursions seeking to find a local store and phoning every fix place I might find to fix the harm for even less finally found a gentleman keen to come out and fix the window and fender for $495, and that I advised PODS I did not care about the scratches to the paint. This was a few months in, and the girl helping me informed me that she’d do her very best to find that sum accepted. I advised the appointment and had the window arranged. The afternoon it was becoming fixed, PODS told me that they wouldn’t cover the fix because I did not submit the quote correctly. The window has been already fixed, so that I paid $275 for told and that the repair man I would call him back to the fender. He wasn’t happy and said he didn’t wish to return only for another fix at $200.

The upcoming few months moved out of me trying to locate someone willing to fix the fender for under $200 to me giving up on this after all, only requesting the $275 I’d spent. I had been getting no response from PODS, no returned calls, no returned emails. It was really frustrating. Repeated calls to additional PODS numbers finally revealed that my”urge” had abandoned the business months earlier for unknown reasons (though her pity was apparent on the telephone ), and they hadn’t bothered to assign everyone to follow up.

I kept phoning, over and above, probably 30 or 40 days entirely, before somebody new eventually contacted me and promised to help. He cried, said he could not get some of my past communication concerning the incident to another urge, and requested me to ship everything again, that I did. After reviewing it, he said he believed he could assist me eventually solve my claim, and at least get me the $475 for the window and fender.

In case you were expecting a happy end, you’re likely to be as disappointed as I had been.

I had not submitted any negative testimonials, despite all of my frustration, or contacted the Better Business Bureau, however before they’d cover the damages, the guy I spoke to said there was a kind I would need to signal… Here are the last two paragraphs.

“Client further understands and agrees that confidentiality is a material condition of the Release. Customer hereby agrees, claims, and warrants that the terms of the Release and the underlying facts and allegations about any claim that the Client may have or needed contrary to the parties being discharged will be considered confidential and not to be divulged or shared with any individual, company, company or entity not a party hereto.”

“Without restricting the foregoing, Client further agrees that he won’t create any and, if relevant, will get rid of any prior disparaging, adverse or critical remarks regarding PODS created on almost any client inspection on any online site, site, or societal websites website; any complaint to the Better Business Bureau or other governmental or quasi-governmental thing; or some other complaint or report to some customer advocacy group or media outlet of any type.”

So for reimbursement for the harm, I’ve give up my customer rights and guarantee to not tell anybody about my therapy by their principal office, not simply concerning this episode, but for any future problems too. I told them I am not signing that kind, and I am back to them not responding to my mails or even returning my phone calls.

Now I am submitting, and I shall also call the BBB.

I wonder just how many others signed this shape and took the cash, what if their yelp score actually be?

Would you need to conduct business with a business like this?

Messed up the permits for delivery and did not even tell me!

PODS completely messed up the licenses at my delivery place! I paid them and was advised by them I wasn’t able to find the license myself, that they would find the license in CO.. I managed the license at DC and it went off without a hitch! The POD is scheduled to arrive tomorrow and there’s absolutely not any place for it to go! When I call to check in, I am now told there’s not any license and I only need to clear 3 spaces on the road! I had been on hold 40 minutes to listen to that they awakened the license situation and chose not to discuss with an update with me or to let me know there wasn’t any license (for whatever reason?? I am not completely unsure about why there isn’t any license though the town does need it??) And now have been on hold for 20 minutes to seemingly talk to a manager. Then the customer support person came back on and told me that the wait to talk with a manager was hours long and she couldn’t wait! That is beyond absurd and I don’t have any clue how my matters will arrive today, if I will need to cancel the movers I’ve scheduled, if I will be fined by town, etc.. Way to go PODS. Taking something such as moving that’s already stressful and messing this up beyond belief then allow me to wait for over 1.5 hours and counting to determine how you want to try to solve this! Use another moving agency.

Lack of equiptment for picking up your container

Purchased the container, then they shed off it to the right moment. We filled it and called to program picking up two weeks after. Were told that they had been 10 days outside until they’d accessible truck to pick this up. When the truck arrived in the destination town… crickets away from them. A telephone affirmed the box was at town, but we’d need to program it to be sent into the home…??? They can do NO monitoring or communicating with clients! It’s all up to the client to HOUND these to acquire your POD picked up and sent. NEVER AGAIN!
