Moved from Connecticut to Chicago back in September of 2017. First quotation ($2900) granted was total BS and ended up spending twice ($4900). I pointed out several times that they shouldn’t be throwing around boxes we CLEARLY marked FRAGILE, and they said”Oh we did not pile those.”

Reminded me of things I failed to say when obtaining a quotation for my transfer that I valued as others did not question specific things he did. I’d advised my pickup date for early January with delivery being asked for the 1st week of February. Plymouth was fantastic right from the beginning. They have been courteous, professional and helpful on the telephone and weren’t pushy. The four movers were courteous, professional, attentive and productive! They took great care of their things, wrap them together with plastic blankets and wraps. They packed all and have been packed to the truck. They worked diligently that they ended up bypassing their lunch simply to get things transferred on time… so I bought them pizza as thanks for their assistance. They did their jobs really well that I felt rested daily. They deserve my own praised and they certainly deserve this five stars. Thanks.

Plymouth Relocation was the worst. Spent hours on the telephone using estimators to be certain our stock was right. They billed me a deposit of 3040 prior to the movers even arrived. After the movers came it cost me another $14,000!!! Since the estimators didn’t explain how big and large some of those items were. What can I do – my stuff was already on the vehicle? I phoned Plymouth to receive a refund of my deposit – that they said no way.

My aim for having a plumber was so I did not need to lift or move anything. Excellent Success!!! As soon as I moved last I tried it by myself. I broke a lot of my china which I received as a wedding gift. I simply didn’t need to take the threat back and honestly I did not need the spine aches that come once you awaken the next day. I needed someone reliable to do the leg workout. I looked on line and discovered Plymouth. I actually just known to get a quotation to compare self movements versus complete service and was amazed with all the price I’ve got. The rep was candy and walked me through the different plans and solutions. We guessed what could be perfect for my transfer based on that dialog and even though I was only calling to get a quotation I wound up reserving my transfer and providing a deposit to ensure the truck and team.

They gave me two day pickup window, told me all I needed to learn about

I have used numerous moving companies earlier.  There was always a matter of some type, hidden charges, broken/misplaced things, unprofessional movers, this list continues on and on.   I had been hesitant in hiring a different moving business, but despise moving myself so that the decision was clear.   I came across Plymouths Moving Services and have to say I was pleasantly amazed.   They reassured me and instilled confidence back in me and my choice to employ them for the transfer.   I was happy they did and that I picked them.   They have been amazing.   Everything was as they informed me and spelled out.   Since with their support, I’ve referred them to all of my family and friends who’ve all had good moves and were really happy.    So happy I’ve obtained more than enough thank you baskets and cards.  How many businesses can you say go over and beyond?   I can definitely vouch for them and say that they do!

Horrible experience. Basically a significant shake down. Estimate has been 1/3 under exactly what the men loading my things calculated. Demanded that I pay an extra $780+ until they’d leave. The main point is Plymouth agents your trip to another carrier and takes no obligation.

Communication back w/”Client Support” was a joke. They gave a fantastic quotation BUT if the moving business came (Ocean Moving & Storage) the quotation nearly doubled. They stated it was because the square footage was bigger than the quotation. This was BS believing I’d removed things from the first list, they then said it was due to this packaging material, again this was BS since they simply used 4 tape and boxes. I phoned Plymouth to inform them the deal was away and they informed me that the $750 deposit was NOT REFUNDABLE. I negotiated but nevertheless ended up paying an add’l $400. I suggest working directly with an experienced moving business as you wind up paying about the exact same anyway.

This business when you reserve it together allow you to pay a $601.00 deposit and that which they do not tell you is that this is what they’re making from your transfer. If the move does not go directly or the men the firm they hire you’re a fraud that you do not receive your cash.

I’ve a strong feeling that when my things had gotten loaded onto the truck that I would not have gotten anything for a minimum of 30 times or nothing in any way.
