    Top notch service

Pretty smooth sailing using peapack. I had a good deal of large items to proceed and that I needed someone trusted and hands on so that I could concentrate on the rest of the things related to moving. Mark and Tom were my movers and they were really fine and went the additional mile to be certain my stuff had been safely getting in and out of their truck. It was really pleasant to know that my personals were safely packed. Customer support was on stage, they were quite clear and helpful with any queries I had. My things even got there a day early before I came in LA.. I am not thinking about moving again any time soon, but I will definitely be coming back once that time comes. 5 stars

    Very Happy with the service

I could not be happier. Everything began using Crystal, she was so sweet, comprehensive, and did not rush me to making a choice like the rest of the businesses. She helped me move through all of my choices before I chose to proceed with PeaPack. Then, once I phoned in a panic as I’d accomplished that I forgot what in my loft, they could bring the additional things at a discounted rate. After the movers showed up, they transferred my whole two bedroom dwelling to the truck and were away until 3 pm. What I really liked is the way the stayed in touch with me each step along the way. While I had been flying to move to get a 7 day escape that they could match me and had it delivered the day after I returned. They create the entire home! That is the very first time moving using a real moving business and that I had a terrific experience. I do not ever wish to leave Florida, however, when I do I will probably call Crystal straight back and use this firm! I’ve got her number stored in my phone as you will never know!

Extremely delighted with the service I had been supplied. John spent alot of time together with me the couple of weeks leading up to really producing my official reservation. He was quite comprehensive and comprehensive and it left the movement go really smooth. Jesse and Paul did an incredible job with the excess packaging which I hired them to perform. I simply hired them again to transfer my daughter home from school. Thank you peapack!

Very Pleased with PeaPack. It is refreshing to work with an organization which doesn’t attempt and secure more cash from you afterwards. I had been told my cost is my cost and that is what occurred. . I had the men professionally pack a couple of boxes once they have here. I paid a bit extra for this, but I understood that coming in and it was worthwhile. Professional and timely I will certainly suggest PeaPack to other people.

I spent 22 years at the United States Coast Guard, also above those 22 years I’ve moved 8 days. I’ve had fairly good experiences, and I have had some horrible experiences. Moving long distances is not ideal, however PPM&S managed every bump in the street during the procedure left me a happy client. I’m sorry to say however; into the firm ~ I will be with you again, since I won’t ever go again! Crossing palms.

I’m writing to commend the”Gabi Crew” for your managing of the movement from NC to FL with no difficulties. The team was lovely and made certain that all of our items were packaged well and securely stored and protected from the vehicle. Since this wasn’t an immediate transfer, our possessions had to be saved for a week until they are sent into our new house. We could say that the team never defeated us. Not only are they”on time” to its scheduled delivery date, however, the team stretched themselves in a skilled and friendly way for your pickup and delivery. From our experience, we all know that this team is going to do the exact same for anybody with an impending move. Thanks”Gabi Crew” for taking such excellent care of us! You’ve got our vote of confidence!

    ABOVE AND BEYOND!

MOVING IS ABSOLUTELY EXHAUSTING! THE ENDLESS CALLS, THE PLANNING, THE PACKING EVERYTHING LOL! AFTER BEING SO OVERWHELMED WITH MOVERS I WAS READY TO GIVE UP AND JUST Work out How TO DO IT MYSELF EVEN THOUGH I HAD CHILDREN, PETS, AND A STRICT SCHEDULE WITH NEW JOB AND WHEN WE HAD TO BE OUT OF OUR HOUSE FOR THE BUYERS TO MOVE IN. I Got A VOICEMAIL AND EMAIL FROM PEAPACK AND DECIDED TO CHECK THEM OUT BEFORE MAYBE GIVING IT ONE LAST FINAL ATTEMPT TO HOPEFULLY NOT HAVE TO DO ALL THIS MYSELF AND NOT BREAK MY BUDGET AT THE Exact Same TIME. THEY DID A ROOM BY ROOM INVENTORY, VERY DETAILED, NOTHING LIKE THE OTHER COMPANIES I HAD SPOKEN TO IN the Last Few DAYS WHICH MADE ME FEEL MORE AT EASE, AND BECAUSE MY FATHER WAS A VETERAN SAVED ME LIKE 1200.00 AS WELL! CAME IN ONLY ABOUT $300.00 MORE THAN I WANTED TO PAY BUT FOR PIECE OF MIND that I DID NOT MIND IT. I Got My THINGS THE DAY AFTER I ARRIVED, EVERYTHING WAS THERE NOTHING WAS DAMAGED,MOVERS SET EVERYTHING UP ROOM BY ROOM ALL THE BEDS AND FURNITURE JUST AS IT WAS BEFORE THEY TOOK IT ALL APART FOR ME WHEN THEY PICKED ME UP. THIS WAS A TRULY AMAZING TEAM OF PEOPLE AT PEAPACK AND MADE ME FEEL LIKE I WAS FAMILY. DEFINITELY WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE WHO WANTS A SEAMLESS AS POSSIBLE MOVE!

My spouse and I’ve moved completely too many occasions in the past because of job relocation. EVERY time we’ve completed it alone with only the support of a couple friends. We place our confidence to PeaPack and allow them to guide us in the perfect direction! We’re extremely grateful for the simple procedure and the simplicity of mind knowing that it would all be taken care of to us. We were worried at the night before and following the after hours line, Chloe replied during her private time with her loved ones & promised us everything goes as planned, and it did. Can HIGHLY recommend them and intend to ONLY utilize them at the upcoming!!

    Incredibly happy with everything.

I have OCD, also obtained 10 quotes. Nobody spent as much time with me as PeaPack in describing EVERYTHING. It was a day and night difference from my additional quotations. I had a storage unit which I hadn’t been around in over a year. I gave everybody a list I’d written down from memory and was fairly certain, but still worried I might have been missing possibly a few tiny loose ends. John, the very first person I spoke to began asking questions nobody else asked me. He had been really focused on the magnitude of the real unit instead of with a list of things. He asked me how complete the 10×10 unit was. When I told him it had been piled to the ceiling entirely intact, he showed me that every other quotation I had been getting was radically underbidding me. I had been getting estimates all based in my listing that was just 350cf and my device could hold 800cf. So, though PeaPack was the priciest, ” he showed me how he’d be more economical in the end with their cost each cubic feet being significantly less, but their cubic feet becoming more accurate. I could tell I had been speaking to actual pros so that I picked them. Customer support was amazing. I had a thousand questions during the procedure. I had been so nervous as I’ve had only 1 encounter moving with a business and it was a dreadful one. On the afternoon of the movement, they did nothing but alleviate my anxiety. The team was so wonderful! Anthony, I suppose that the foreman was a war veteran as am I and we instantly hit it off. I was rather impressed with the way they packaged the truck. I could tell they’d rigorous procedures in the way they loaded everything. They colour coordinated every box. On fall off they place my whole house up, and place each box in a neat pile in each area it belonged. I’m extremely satisfied with the service. This is the form of support that I could recommend to anybody! Thank you PeaPack, along with a particular thanks to John and Anthony. You guys made this movement extremely simple and eloquent and me and my family thanks you.

Moving yurt from California to Georgia

I had a good experience with Peapack storage and moving first having to move across state will be stressful, however, the process went fairly easily with only a couple of bumps in the street. The tricky part was getting the pricing right since it wasn’t a normal movement like I was sending a construction known as a yurt. Peapack did a fantastic job of working together with me to attempt to gauge the cost and Chloe was really well connected by movers to provide me plenty of choices. Tina was also nice and useful on the way. It was difficult since there are various companies they deal with thus be ready for a potential gap in cost when they arrive so be a specific as you can on what’s being moved. The true individual who drove my things across state was exceptional, it came in good shape and at a fair quantity of time and that I was really grateful for this! I’d say it will help to become educated about the procedure, the majority of the time that it goes for that, Peapack will provide you an estimate and also locate and carrier that can come along and pick this up at a bigger 20ft truck then return to storage until another larger truck will have the ability to take it into the last destination. They indicate your material with tags and it’s separated by colour then as it arrives they ought to unload it. This procedure is prices signifigantly less than a few of the larger businesses, but its becoming managed more so there’s more of an opportunity for a number of damages if you would like to conserve cash then go this path! Some of my items were somewhat awakened but nothing big and that I was pleased not to pay tens of thousands more to send the yurt together with the pricier businesses.

    Moving

PeaPack never provides u a proper quote and I wound up mentioning $1000.00 over they anticipated. If my furniture came the driver was so rude and horrible and place my bed, entertainment center and also washer/dryer in backward and got horrible when I requested them to put objects together properly. The driver left before all furniture has been placed together along with the neighborhood helper he hired remained to help set everything together with no compensated. The helper failed to 85 percent of the job himself. PeaPack was fine when I phoned them but nobody from Trans Van Lines they had to transfer my furniture ever called me back. Do NOT employ this business unless they choose to work with more specialist van lines to take to them.

    Complete Nightmare

I filled out a petition to find information on moving companies and was almost immediately contacted by John out of Peapack. I intended to transfer myself from Oregon into AL but wanted to test to determine what the cost is for professionals. He explained he had somebody cancel who had been moving out of a nearby city (20 minutes from where I lived) into FL and that I would be doing him a favor when I let him manage my move. I saw all of the fantastic reviews on the internet and thought I’d lucked out given the brief notice and dismiss. I paid the deposit and signed the paperwork and believed everything was taken care of.

I had been told I would find a call from customer support before my proceed to confirm my household products and have some questions answered. I never heard from anybody. I phoned their customer service number to find out whether they can give me an estimate on how long the movers could take after they picked up my belongings so that I could organize my road trip. Chloe never called or returned my phone and if it forwarded into the following hours call she immediately stated she could not hear me and wrapped up. Fast ahead prior to my move. I had been told I would know the specific time and day window 48-36 hours before. The day that they were supposed to pickup my merchandise that I obtained an EMAIL at approximately 10’m telling me that the carrier could not create it. From day one I told them the date I needed to be from my flat, which had been the following moment. They maintained my telephone did not work and they could not call me and that they left me voicemails. I’d zero missed calls or voicemails. They could discover another provider, my apartment manager gave me additional days because the upcoming tenants paperwork was still be sorted out, and that I trusted them AGAIN to manage me proceed.

The evening before my brand new pickup date (3 days after ) I got a call from the carrier stating that they would not be there and that they could have the ability to get me by July 2. That can be after Peapack GUARANTEED me that they would pick my stuff up. Chloe (customer support supervisor ) even told me before that afternoon which the carrier will be there on my pick-up at the day. I called every man I had contact info to and their customer support line, panicking, and nobody returned my calls. I guess that they have been busy enjoying their Friday night and not in any respect concerned with their clients. I eventually got an email from Chloe offering to refund my deposit like she had been doing me a favor. It is written on your contract which you could offset with 36 hours of your contract date and receive a complete refund, and that I had been within that time period because I’d gotten a brand new contract following their initial error! I needed to purchase a U haul that night and call everyone in the telephone book another day (a Saturday) to locate a person to package my U Haul for me personally, then push a 15 foot truck throughout the nation last minute due to the incompetence of the provider. If they could not have solved it after their initial error, they need to have stated so. That might have given me more time to plan the transfer myself, thought still last moment. Don’t trust this organization and don’t provide them a dime. They won’t follow through on some of the processes and they certainly choose the worst carriers to work with.

Fraud company,l. Movers sucks. Do NOT use their service

The movers billed me 1/3 longer than the initial quote on the moving date. I refused to pay and phoned the business. They maintained that they would address the issue and negotiated with all the movers afterwards. Nevertheless, they did not. The movers billed me over the shipping day. They even lost among my furnitures and kept stating that they did not pick up to the pickup date. It ended up being a nightmare. Don’t use them. I will submit the claim and sue your firm. They are simply not professional in any way, particularly the movers. They Just enjoy cash

Problems and No One will Call Back - Now Stuck

They started out fine. They put this movement using a plumber. The selection up went well enough. But a four days until send switched into a 6 months, then because it wasnt here shortly enough to be prior to a storm had been postponed till then by one entire week, then Oooops, then somehting happended plus it didnt create the truck so not on todays delivery for you so now 5 more days, today its the night before and they’re reneging on the arrangement for 2 deliveries and so are telling me they’re falling both heaps at the very first stop!!! The next is just three hours off (my eldery moms new residence ) and the two are pointing fingers in who made the mistake.
The products were picked up in a single house. The things for both different delivery places have been indicated with two different colour tags from the movers and place on different Inventory lists as well as the next delivery has been pronounced as such. I had been billed a second shipping fee. NOW THE True MOVER SAYS NO AND IS EXPECTING TO DELIVER IT ALL TO THE FIRST STOP! I have never heard back yesterday or today from such people and have predicted each of 6 numbers recorded including the crisis numbers. Someone wants to do something fast.

    Deceptive Business Practices

I was quoted a price $2169 and at the evening prior to the transfer I had been advised that the cost was raised to $4800. I advised Peapack to cancel the movement and return my deposit of $785.77. Peapack said that I didn’t cancel over the 36 hr. window. I stated that I didn’t consent to the 4800 price. They wouldn’t return my deposit.

    Still Waiting on my Refund

I received a quote using pea pack which seemed quite good and after setting down the deposit via credit card, they explained that the following two payments of $500 needed to be in cash or money order. That sounded very funny to me. We ended up with a friend’s truck to proceed so we did not require the movers anymore. I phoned and cancelled over the 72 hour notice. They promised me I’d get my deposit refunded and that I even signed a refund arrangement 3 months ago. I still have not got my refund. Each time I call they say that they are only getting to it. I really don’t understand what goes on in this location but it’s absurd I haven’t been reimbursed however once I followed all of the necessary measures and have been really polite up to now.

    Total rip-off

Worst experience ever! It started out fantastic super fine folks they seemed to genuinely care and also allow me to change the date with a few days. Now the real movers were brilliant and really effective. They had been sublet by PeaPack. As soon as I explained everything I’d had, I clarified that I would much like to over estimate my things I did not require any last minute openings. I also called to bring a few extra things but completely exaggerated my number of things. As an instance I stated I’d aLarge China cupboard it was really 12″ square and 5′ high. I stated I’d 25 medium boxes, so I’d 16, you have the picture. The day that the movers showed up that it was literally twice the price I was mentioned! I had been stuck, so I was departing on a plane two days after a cross country move. I had no option whatsoever it was dreadful. Following the transfer that I emailed the company and attempted calling no answer. The entire thing ended up costing me an additional 2k. I strongly advise you choose a proven and repeatable firm sure the quotes likely to be greater that is because their fair. Do your study do not employ this provider.

    Long-distance move from Batavia, NY
    Horrible Moving Company and Experience

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! MOVE WAS AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE AND Significant RIP-OFF. I’ve utilized professional movers because of my past 4 inter-state moves and have not had even a slight difficulty in any other movement. Recent testimonials on the website now represent others’ poor encounters. This provider is either grossly incompetent or offender.

I had a September 2019, 2-bedroom+ movement in NYS to Florida. Peapack testimonials were superior to other people, particularly for client services. Telephone and e-communication were great.

    1) PeaPack is a moving”agent” and outsources all tasks to 3rd-party movers. It’s no control on them or your closing price. I heard this after signing the contract. The mover can control whatever it wants, irrespective of your own Peapack contract. You enter into a NEW contract together with the inspector on pickup. My mover was Safeguard Van Lines.

    2) My first Peapack quotation was for 1,500 cubic feet of quantity and $7,300. My list of things was true. The overall manager calculated that the cubic feet and additional to be secure.

    3) After my possessions were loaded onto the vehicle, I had been told it was currently 3,600 cubic feet (240 percent more) and $17,300 (237 percent more). There were minor developments. On the other hand, the movers rendered 3 big, recorded items of more room than additional ones.

    4) My final price was $15,300. The mover bought $2,000 largely from double-charging for packaging materials and gasoline. Peapack billed $150 for”boxing” a kayak — movers simply slipped kayak in addition to load. Unapproved boxes and substances were billed and fresh to raise price ($1,600+) — that may not be identified before shipping. The inspector additionally charged $4,358 to get a”binder fee” and $2,900 for keeping my possessions in a New Jersey warehouse to be transferred with different heaps to Florida. None of that was cited by Peapack or recorded on the Peapack contract.

    5) After the outrageous, fresh price was introduced, the inspector stated if I didn’t cover the first half in full then along with the second half (in money or bank checks) upon delivery, I wouldn’t see my possessions again. You don’t have any option but to sign the agreement — your possessions are stored hostage.

    6) Because of policy coverage, I wasn’t permitted on either pick-up or delivery truck to assess the cubic feet as Peapack proposed. Taking photographs was hopeless. I had been told that the delivery movers were to quantify every thing after unloading, but that communication was”lost.”

    7) Delivery date has been organized with the Agency on the pickup day of 9/16. The first-available date has been 9/20. The load has been sent 10/3, nearly 3 months after pick-up. (The fine print says they have 30 days.) The Agency called 2 days beforehand to be there 10/2 and never showed or called on that day. I repeatedly texted, emailed and called Peapack, the inspector as well as the motorist for two days to find an answer. They came 10/3 in the day.

    8) After unloading, I signed a”harm” segment noting a vest had a broken shirt. Over after weeks, I discovered much other harm, particularly in heavy duty plastic bins, where the tops and sides of the bins were also broken. Each of the glass which was individually wrapped and cushioned, was crushed. This could only occur with enormous, crushing pressure. 2 file cabinets were bent in by the backs. The packaging tape which the movers utilized left residue on what that took hours to eliminate. Following the movement, Peapack didn’t inquire about the dresser breakage or when there were some other problems.

    9) After the truck made my NYS house, I instantly called Peapack to notify them of their $10,000 increase in price. I had been told each of the documentation could be shared between Peapack along with the Agency to repair the circumstance. I had been told that the owner of Peapack was attentive to the situation and also the general manager could not fix it. After my furnishings had been sent, the Peapack rep completely consented that I was way overcharged and that the closing cubic footage in the inspector was a hopeless quantity for my possessions. I re-measured everything, such as Peapack’s normal ones, for example”king-size bed” and filed this more-detailed list just in case I screwed up — I did not. I followed up with Peapack using 3 more mails to acquire a last resolution. I haven’t heard anything back from any Peapack rep or its general manager.

    10) The fine print says the criticism procedure. I handled it as”boiler-plate” since I have not had a problem with any additional inspector. I’m not interested in going to court or employing a mediator to solve this as it’ll cost a whole lot more money. Now, I don’t have any faith that this is solved. Peapack has completely dismissed all communicating. But, I have been counseled to think about providing complete documentation to the Attorney Generals of Florida (house of moving agent ), New Jersey (home of Agency ) and New York State (my prior home country ) to question whether national crimes of inter-state trade fraud, racketeering and grand theft have been committed and if so, a potential class-action suit could be in order. In reading latest Peapack testimonials, others have experienced similar, major issues.

    STEER CLEAR, 0 STARS

They brokered me to Ocean Storage and Moving that was the strangest experience I might have envisioned. That critique is completed individually. Long story short, PeaPack gave me bogus information because day 1, among which was them telling me it might take 4 times to my items to arrive at the new place, and it really took nearly an whole month. Customer support has stopped returning my emails, calls, etc and ignore me once I call. They have always replied until after the movement was totally done. They are aware that it’s me calling reason they employed to reply stating my name. They visit my name come through and dismiss it. They kept trying to tell me this the 4 day item is not their fault, since the contract states that the dates aren’t guaranteed sending dates. Okay, that is alright. But should you inform a client 4 times, a typical person would believe”alright so that it’ll probably have a week. Nope. It took nearly a month and somehow they think that is my fault that I didnt aim for a month with no things. I really could go on and on about the business, but that is the biggest aggravation. And filing a claim is a very hard and time consuming task, which can be done on purpose to dissuade individuals from making promises.

At first glance, amazing, major issues once the move took place.

Peapack initially was a fantastic. I adored every customer service representative I talked to and they were good about getting me replies. But, several things that I knew about the movement weren’t true that destroyed everything. To start with, I asked the customer service rep stated I would have no difficulties with stair charges because the very first floor was liberated. However, seemingly a”floor” into PeaPack was 7 stairs. Fine, it frees me an additional $150 bucks for the advantage. Second, I had been under the illusion that the exact same truck that picked up my things will be delivering them. I would never have gone without insurance if I’d know they’d drop my things in a warehouse, and then have yet another truck pick up them. The possibilities for damages and lost things increases exponentially. I never specifically asked I can recall, however, I feel as when he clarified the procedure which must have been clearly explained. The genuine difficulty started though as soon as the delivery truck came. I had been the last stop that afternoon. The remaining things in the vehicle were allegedly mine. But, several items didn’t belong to me personally. The delivery driver laughed in my head once I asked him when the first”flooring” 7 measures were liberated. He had been planning to charge me extra for this. At this time I was sick of getting lied to and told them to simply put it to the floor because I was not giving them any more of my cash. Another functioned to me and still went out of the way to place my mattress and many things on the porch. The shrink wrap made to safeguard my leather sofa, the rude driver made a decision to use a box cutter to reduce back. In the procedure, cutting on the back of my leather seat. My dad and I had been stunned that somebody whose occupation is allegedly to move individuals, would utilize a box cutter on a leather sofa. After all this, I was also missing some vital products. My dining room table has been missing its principal support slice and the foliage extensions. This basically makes my dining room table futile because it wobbles a lot better. I was also missing a 30 seat. Remember that these aren’t small pieces of furniture that I had been overlooking. Finally the boxes I’d packed were recorded back together and obviously had had the things thrown back in after the box had broken.

Following the favorable customer support so much I had been optimistic still that it would be solved. I contacted them and they were very apologetic and comprehension. . .However, following a few of weeks, I achieved again. They’d said they were still trying to get a grasp of the moving business. A few more weeks and the customer support rep apologized but she’d been in an auto crash and was outside for a short time. A few more weeks of no reply and I reached out to other email addresses I had for the business. I had been advised that the individual I was working with was out on maternity leave and chose to take the remainder of the off year because it was slow at that time of year. Fantastic firm. Let’s not pass on current clients’ issues to somebody to take good care of while you’re out. . .Again though, the individuals I talked to were quite courteous and apologetic. She stated she’d get right on it but the moving business was no longer in business and they have this occur every year. Anyhow, she informed me that they could not do anything and that I had to submit a claim, but it may be too late. Convenient. Happily it was not. I spent a while even trying to find a grip this other group to get a claim form. Eventually, I managed to submit a claim and sent it (using a reception so that I would understand it came ). Now I can not get a grasp of this claim band nor PeaPack. This provider is useless to address any difficulties. I really don’t get why they promote themselves as the men and women that try to protect against the fraud of transferring businesses when they literally don’t have any power or now want to assist you if something goes wrong. Bare minimum I’m out a few hundred bucks not on damages, but only on not even receiving the things in any way. The simple fact that I lost an entire dining room table since they could not get all of my things to my new residence, was pitiful. And also how this business was futile in solving the matter is much more pathetic. Terrible experience.

Before the transfer folks were more friendly and helpfull. They estimated that my transfer at $1960. After the movers showed up and packed the truck that they gave me a charge for about $4950. I said no way, it had been nearly triple the original quote. Peapack moving won’t return my deposit, but they stated I denied support. I didn’t deny service I denied to have conned. They will not respond or return my calls or emails. I wouldn;t even want this business in my worst enemy.

Do not go with this company

I waited a number of weeks to write about it, since I wished to see if I felt any better. The solution is no. I proposed a transfer in burbs of Chicago, into the burbs of Denver, also started studying movers and planning and cost. In this investigation, I shipped in stock list and started to take a look in firms. Most sent me a quote and that I did not hear much back except a couple followup emails. I did however get replicated emails from Peapack. The bidding was also the most cost effective. Like a dummy, I decided to go with Peapack. Worst experience ever. As soon as they got cash, and a contract, the entire thing struck the crapper. They always looked friendly and pleasant and used words such as’I’m here for you’, Have a lucky day’. I’d spent months packaging my things and getting prepared. I really did the best I could with a precise stock. Then, alas, the big day arrived, and the movers have been also scheduled. But imagine what. A no-show! Through trial and error, I got a person on the crisis line, Jim the proprietor. He provided apologies etc., also discovered that a brand new team. What was a surprise was Peapack outsources to other businesses! The firm that no revealed was Boost, who I googled; and watched the worst reviews ever. The team Jim discovered showed up the following moment. Nice enough guys, but then trouble. All I heard was that the agent did the quote incorrect, I’d larger of more things, on and forth. A whole lot of trash talk in the inspector Perfect about the’agent’ not doing this right again’. Through telephone calls, it got done, but as other clients stated, my bill went up. Then, the shipping date I had been promised went outside the window, and no guarantees were made. So moving day came and I drove into my new residence, and no word regarding my items…I called and called. After weeks, I got the call! ~ My stuff was to be delivered! Then things completely went to garbage. Both men got here, among these was fine enough, but no English. Another did speak English, but whenever he opened his mouth it was a dreadful threat. He dwelt with a threatening, angry position, and complained loudly about the way he’s a driver, not a mover, and he shouldn’t be carrying my merchandise or putting things back together. I’d tagged all boxes so that I could ID everything and guide it to every room, but each of my precious things was throne in a truck, and so were upside down, no matter being tagged FRAGILE. My furniture has been wrapped, and this man yelled at me when I requested to find a part of it to find out just what it was. “it yours, and you need to only know”. It got worse. The rudeness did not stop. The my classic china cabinet glass was cracked and my dressing table was broken. I had been so mad from the china cupboard, I really started to CRY, as its an exaggeration. This ass off it, made fun of me, also attributed to packers since’I’m only motorist.’ I had been so jeopardized my this dude, I named the emerg. number. This just made him angrier. I could not wait for him out of my home & almost call 911. It had been awful. At any speed Tina in Pea Pack was fine, and understood something about support recovery. She delivered paper job for repairs, and also told me she talk to that movers supervisor. She explained that he had been fired, and the firm might send me $50. I never heard by the boss of the inspector or did I visit $50. I never heard from Jim the supervisor at Peapack. Shocking, as I’d sent mails and voicemails to that he never reacted. The complete moving experience disagreeable, and honestly among the worst experiences of my entire life. Then something strange happened, I’d paid cash, credit and check card for my transfer. The card has been one never utilized it excepted for Peapack. Following my transfer, I had been contacted by fraud defense, as somebody was attempting to use my card information at a Nike Town. While I can not prove anything, I’m leery….Word into the wise, do not use this organization. Nobody ought to be feeling endangered in there own home by a hired seller. Nobody ought to have a seller no display. The quoted invoice almost escalated, which was dreadful, and that I had been very careful. This was a dreadful experience.

    It's a scam - Avoid it

There’s no much to say aside from a”Don’t go for this business”

You will find a lot of reviews which will explain why and that I can link to every one of these. Broken Furniture, violation of contract, tear off, is determined, ruined and overlooked stuff, risks, along with the worse: they pretend to be great individuals but that the scam comes after the payment and continue coming before the shipping date. If you would like to prevent a enormous hassle simply avoid them whatsoever. Jim was the man who I spoke to, he also spent nearly 30min with me about the telephone attempting to prove that he had been a great man, actually used his husband and daughter on his own way to get me to sign up a contract. Sam was the man or woman who I had to cope after. The sole difference between these is that Sam will speak to you personally the manner that he desires, low-ranking phrases and awful motives about virtually everything and he’ll endanger you when he wants to, together with Jim differs since will pretend that he cares after which he’ll be gone. Not one of them is going to address an issue. They just run off from it. I have tried for the last 3 months and they have explanations for all, but maybe not even an updated stock of my things they must send. They’re a enormous mess. This provider is a wholly scam. I’ve reported them to the FTC (https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/) and I’d recommend you to do exactly the same if you’re a victim of those.

I also have included a warning in 3 buildings across my area and also other 5 straight back in the Bay region. I got an opportunity to speak out two individuals from creating business together. I had my 1 bedroom flat transferred out of San Francisco to Austin, however what came damaged or broken and they phoned me stating that when I did not pay yet another 2k they’d ditch my stuff someplace else. Everything required to be money. PEAPACK is awful news; you could tell with this testimonials. It is not just my own experience. Avoid being a part of this, they steal from innocent and humble men and women. We feel sorry for these.

No movement in a month. 200% price increase. Predatory movers. Etc.

I do not even know where to start. Peapack does not perform the proceeding, they employ third parties to perform the proceeding for them. These aren’t vetted nicely. I had been quoted $2400 ($1200 upfront, $600 on pickup, $600 on shipping ). This number climbed to $4700 on pickup along with the movers refused to depart without any charge. The inspector desired a photograph of my debit card instead of just wrongly billed my card the incorrect sum by $1000 two, but also didn’t get my consent to do so. Peapack explained two weeks ago that they would determine how they could pay for the gap even when they needed to come out of pocket. They have not. I dropped a 600 love chair because there”was not enough distance” even though it being on the stock list. Their customer support does not reply if you don’t hide your caller ID. They do not email back.

My stuff has been picked up on August 26th, it is September 27th and that I do not even know if it is in transit nonetheless. They (and their shifting business ) have over $4000 from me right now and it has been a month and now I don’t have anything to show and nobody will respond to me personally. From what I have seen from other websites, also, this looks quite common and they don’t even try to get the carriers reimburse you, they will just provide to refund your deposit. On trust pilot there is a woman who had her window smashed and furniture ruined by the carrier and they offered her $1000/$4500 back. Lol.

    Never ever use this firm.
