    Long-distance move from California
Patriot Van Lines are robbers .. don't hire them if you want ur money in ur pocket and not their's

I’d give -10 score if they had that choice. Patriot Van lines is the largest scam. These individuals ripped off us that we did not deserve. When they first gave the quotation, they stated for 1br and under 3000lbs, it’d cost us $2200 to proceed to madison, WI from CA. Though other movers also gave exactly the exact same estimate, as a result of insufficient comprehension about how bad this business is, we finally hired this support. On moving day they stated they’d come about 3PM and they arrived at 6PM that delayed our journey to Madison. They were rather harsh with stuff which were written brittle. When I said to them that they had been brittle then they’d correct it. How irresponsible. While picking up the material, when we requested them if will the things arrive they said when we predict the following day, they’d have the ability to tell. After we called the following day, nobody could say anything. So we phoned them for 5 times always and no one has any advice where our material is and if it will be accessible. Then all of a sudden the 5th day driver of this truck calls and he’ll send our stuff the following day and he then states, that our stuff weighed against 4500lbs and we’d pay $1500 more. We do not even have a lot of furniture. We all haev were a couch and a love seat that me being pregnant could proceed with solitary hand. We purchased those bcoz they’re lightweight and comfortable to maneuver while vacuuming, 1 queen mattress and box, and also a wooden dining table. Thats the only furniture we’d and remainder are clothing and kitchen utensils. I’m still wondering how that tiny things can burden 4500 and should we evaluate each of our stuff, it would not even be nearer to $3500 that we compensated for the movers. For crying out loud, my couch place costed $500, box and mattress costed $300 and dining room table has been purchased second hand for $50. We might have purchased pleasant stuff with all the money we’ve paid for your movers. So coming back into the motorist’s phone, he said that he would just accept cash or money order and would not accept credit card, check or another payment that nobody told us earlier. He informs us this the nighttime bfore hez bringing in. By that point all of the banks have been closed and there’s a limitation on how far you draw cash from ATM in 24hrs so even when my spouse and I both take money from our bank accts, we would not have the ability to draw that much quantity. Se we thought we’d do moneyorder out of USPS the following morning. Figuring out that the post office is shut for following day because it was a public holiday. After we phoned the driver and stated that, he was yelling at us rudely saying he needs cash at any price and he would not spare us. We did not wish to contend with this kind of impolite person so that we went to walmart to get moneygram and it frees us $155 for cash gram. Another ripp off..Also the motorist again called to create sure that our speech isn’t showing up in his GPS. We had been attempting to tell him that the instructions and he was yelling at us saying he can’t see the instructions that we’re telling him. How can he know us while hez yelling at us, if we are describing him patiently the instructions. He screamed at us for sometime and then pumped the telephone stating he’ll be at our flat the following day. The morning after, I had been awaiting the truck in the home while my husband made to get the job done. He was rather scared abt the way that motorist is gont act with me. OK so the motorist came two hrs late, camera house and took cash from me first and that he waited another hr because of his unloading men to come. They then began unloading. The neighborhood madison unloading guys were very pleasant men and women. They were quite considerate, patient and helpful. I discovered somewhat secure after these men came. Since I’m new to Madison, they had been giving me hints and guides abt madison and they’re very sweet. These two men were the only great thing one of all this shifting massacre. They unloaded the material and because I’m pregnant, I asked them to kindly assemble the mattress frame and additionally they did this with no questions asked and unwrapped the couch sets so I can sit comfortably. The truck driver came up at the past, stated he’d love to use the restroom, ends up that pig did not even flush our toilet correctly. Ugly dreadful pig. . yaakkk…
They all left after unloading and once I was unpacking my things, I discovered that all of my boxes are lost. When I phoned the claims section, they stated that they would attempt to discover at a day and if they’re unable to find my boxes, I want to complete a claim form. They did not find my things as anticipated. We had some pricey kitchen gear and coatings and stuff from these boxes. As soon as I sat down to say that in the claim form, I discovered written there that they would cover by weight, not per the price of these stuff. They’d cover 60cents/lb. Our $150 value coat will weight 3lbs and we’d get $1.08 when we document a claim. That is so unfair. Now I’m not even bothering to submit the claim as obviously they’re robbers stealing money from individuals for that we can not even file a compliant in a police station. From today, we determined that if we proceed its better to market all our things, and purchase new things at our new site. This way we do not get robbed with these folks and can appreciate new things for the price atleast. Folks, please be conscious of Patriot van lines and do not employ them if you would like your cash in your pockets rather than their’s. Please do not be tricked by their sweet talk if you call them to get a quote. They’ll be sweet until your material is in their own truck. When it gets in their truck, you’re their slaves and will have nowhere to go. We lost so much money for us, we still are angry at ourselves for not exploring much abt the organization and giving them things in hurry. Please do not do exactly the identical mistake.

    Do Not Use

Pick-up was scheduled for 10/27 or even 10/28 within a month and a half in advance. On 10/26 they stated they could not be there before 10/29, however they gave us a 100% assurance that it would be 10/29. On the afternoon of 10/29 they phoned and said that they would not be there till 11/2. While we had been on the phone together they might have appeared less and have been more than eager to repay our deposit. Their activities completely destroyed our shifting plans. We’d tenants scheduled to come in our house on 11/1. We needed to proceed on program in order to arrive for work. Children were pulled from college. Our lives were packed in boxes ready to his or her birth. It is not possible to employ a brand new moving firm and have them there in time. We’re now confronted with needing to employ a truck and transfer our household of 4, two cars, 2 cats and two dogs in under two days. PATRIOT VAN LINES IS A TERRIBLE COMPANY WITH ZERO INTEGRITY. NEVER USE THEM!

    Patriot van ines

Patriot van lines would be a whole rip off!!!!! DO NOT MOVE together. They’re liars and scammers. I had been told my belongings will arrive on Monday or Tuesday before Thanksgiving and that the driver could call to confirm on Sunday. I had been informed this by 3 distinct folks. After Sunday arrived and arrived I called first thing Monday morning.

My partner has been Eric Coulanges 1-800-741-6743 ext 221. He was quite fast to sell me his moving firm and very excited to assist with paper work and also to accept my payment. However, when I called with a problem he promised me he’d get right on it and then call right back, and obviously he whined. Seven hours after I put another phone, they also had to return to me later on. An hour after a costumer service rep called to notify me that I’d receive my things Friday which was that. Friday? I called back since surely they had been confused. All I have was Im sorry mam, however, a sorry mam does not get my things here. Then I asked what they can do to either get my things here or compensate me, I again got Im sorry mam. So I phoned back again and they said they’d attempt to find a grasp of this driver, I advised them I had the drivers amount and I will be delighted to give it to them to find the ball rolling. They stated they had a seven day window to send my things. But now, my delivery day, was that the very first I’d learned about it from each of the people I’d talked with.

I again called the driver and advised him he worked to get a dreadful business. His reply, was that he understood. They have had several complaints caused by them, and im positive each of the testimonials on their website are all fabricated. I attempted to compose one, and also its impossible.

Long story short, I paid a great deal of cash, got dreadful customer support and will not get my things in time for the very first Thanksgiving. I’m making it my obligation to advise all people of this dreadful moving firm patriot van lines so at least somebody is going to be spared from the hassle of the scum bag firm.

Use them if you want to waste your money and time

Don’t ever expect and believe what they say.
They kept shifting my purchase even though I already signed up on the touch paper. I was nearly going to sue them!!

Pick-up was scheduled for 1/3 from 10AM to 6PM however, they arrived the day before and even parked over night. I needed to take care of my apartment manager if that massive truck could had parked on our parking lot. Just how many individuals have their own parking place to possess 9 by 28 feet long bath?

They overcharged me and lied with the cost of total. They stated that adding every 1 foot will probably cost $196. But then they abruptly changed around $256. I attempted to call the man that I spoke at the start of the contract, but he put it on his own voice message and that I could not speak to him again.

They ought to understand how to maintain their company in more professional manner rather than lying to individuals! Now, I would like to inquire to patriot van lines. “Are you pleased to earn money in this dirty way? Proceed to hell!!”

    Strongly not Reccomended

The most bothersome part of the encounter was that the very first component but it surely did not get much better.
I paid a premium to get my two day window to get pick-up within a weekend.  This was so that I could return to work for a significant meeting Monday.  They didnt arrive until 2 PM Sunday.  Clearly which meant it wnet really far later than it ought to have.  The movers were not outside until after 9 PM.  As soon as I complained about paying for a premium for it, I had been advised by Patriot which they would not do anything unless my sub-contractor was prepared to give me back something.  Obviously the subcontractor isnt the title on the doorway so that he can care less.  I paid Patriot, therefore I hold them accountable.
Throughout the packaging most matters went well and they did quite a fantastic job of disassembling a 3 part glass table.  Some boxes have been smashed but harm to my things was mild (just one dish).
It just went down hill from that point.  The packaging of my own kitchen has been quite honestly.  In comparison with my final transfer where dish packs have been utilized and a mixture of newspaper and bubble wrap where necessary, Patriot and their Sub MS Transferring supplied regular boxes and truck prevent news papers.  Worse, so much as I could tell little care has been taken concerning if a box has been left up or never.  The previous time that I paid movers, each box was left up and never had been any box packaged upside down, then went upside down or reversed throughout proceeding.  This time around a number of the boxes have been upside down at the same stage at least.  Luckily just 1 dish has been cracked that I can be certain of.  Lots of others were deciphered but because I know I still had some cracked ones until I decide to think none were busted by Patriot.  I am not likely to submit a claim for the one dish since I’m mostly happy to not need to address this business any more.
1 box belonging to a different client was shrouded in my home and just the simple fact I was unpacking because they unloaded allowed me to see it and return.  I hope that the client makes it in the long run.
The movers were personable and trying to become customer service focused but that I actually got the impression that they were under a great deal of pressure around programs and that any money they stored return to them personally.   On this basis, I attribute the managers for my incredibly poor experience over the real movers.  I urge from Patriot Van Lines.  I’ve paid professionals to maneuver me before and seen nothing but success previously.  I blame me for not even reading those reviews before hand.

Horrible - Don't use them!! They never showed up!!

This is the very first time I hired a”professional moving company”  since my husband just had back surgery and that I only had a baby, so we had been attempting to make it easier on me personally.   This is also the very first time I’ve written some online review of a business – so that demonstrates just how much Patriot angry me.   It was a dreadful mistake for them to perform our move and We’ll never use them again.   That is exactly what occurred….They told us they’d arrive on one of 2 days for pickup.   Fine. Because we no longer reside in town where we had been doing the pickup, we needed to fly into the town to be there to the movers.   This took some coordination being we were leaving our two month old infant with family at home and needed to be back at work a Couple of Days after our scheduled movement.   Patriot said They’d call us a week ahead of the move to provide us a much longer approximate time of birth.   They never called, so every day of the five days leading up to the transfer date, I phoned them and each time was told that my transfer was”still in scheduling” and that I would be”updated during the day.”   Not!   They never called me and every time I phoned them I would have to wait on hold for 20-30 minutes prior to being told, yet again, that the trucks were still”in scheduling.”   This was the first Indication of trouble.   Do not know how just hours and days prior to my move and that I could still maintain”scheduling?”   Is not the program something that they figure out before accepting my $900 deposit and agreeing to perform my move?   OK, guess I’ll Be patient….   Days went by and we became increasingly worried as we were not hearing anything from them whatsoever. Then on our real moving day we were told by customer service Our truck”was cancelled” and they had been attempting to schedule a second truck.   We had been on a tight deadline (we needed to move from our marketed home, and catch a plane back home for work and also to our infant ) we advised them that if they were not coming at all, we had to understand that and desired our security deposit back. Then they stated that it was a 50/50 chance that the moving truck could come and that we consequently would not get our security deposit back until the”window of birth” was totally over.   This was only so inconsiderate, since when we waited for”the window” to be finished, it’d be too late for us to find an alternative way to move our things Throughout the Nation.   We’d nevertheless have been angry when they never showed up, however not nearly as angry as we were being that they had been holding our safety deposit and leaving us in limbo trying to figure if to Await them or find another method to move our belongings.   We figured They would not appear – that was correct.   We had to scramble to acquire a UHaul in the last minute and employ some men off the road to help us proceed. We also had to change our flights home because we now had to push the UHaul ourselves.   The total change in moving programs in the last minute cost us an additional $2000.   It had been among the most frustrating experiences ever.   I didn’t understand they showing up was discretionary and that they’d be so inconsiderate as not to give us our safety deposit back even when THEY stopped our truck and could not guarantee that they’d even show up for our transfer.   Unbelievable.   I’ll certainly check online testimonials next time I employ any movers.   Looks like They’ve pissed a Great Deal of customers off.   Perhaps you have ever made anybody happy?   I just see poor reviews online. Makes you wonder just how a place like this stays in business.
