After the packaging company came they explained that they did not care what the agent billed. According to them, agents play this game consistently and cost customer upfront and in the future you can not do anything about it. The moving company finally charged me over double of Alex’s estimate. So I paid 1100 for 0 cost saving, endless setbacks and mail/call using Patriots customer support who maintained justifying their quote rather than accepting their misleading job and exceeding the fee that they should not have billed. They flatly denied any refund. I’m looking for alternatives to submit a formal complain in order that they’re fined for their neglect / deliberate deceptive work.

In 4PM Tues I have a call from American Home Relocation, telling me that they will arrive at the 31st between 6 and 9PM. I inquired who they were and why they had been calling. I had been educated who they were and they had been brokered by Patriot. Then I was advised my things would not arrive at Ohio for 7-21 days. I needed to re-pack many things so I’d essentials to get me through a couple of weeks along with my private truck had been filled from front to rear which I loaded myself. I was then informed I needed to get money or money order, charge card would not work. As soon as I achieved to Patriot, the company again wouldn’t respond to emails or calls. After the movers came they would not honor the 2nd flooring reduction but said I might pay them money and they would not call the supervisor. I had been shown that the packaging list sent them. I advised Patriot I’d have 20 boxes, 20 bags, and my own furniture. Patriot told me I’d have 45 pieces complete and utilize 365 cu Launched After dividing down the furniture I’d 68 pieces.The Agency called his manager and said since I’d 1.5 the number of bits they had to bill me 1.5x the sum. I informed them I would not assert the broken things, simply send me the things left in the warehouse. And I still have to submit a claim which might not be addressed for 120 days.

This lasted for the following 2 weeks of obtaining a date only for them to alter drivers again and that I did not get my things.

Eventually on August 18th that I received my things only to get every boxed smashed and everything packaged along with my bike (which they had been advised to leave within my unit). Not just this but I was really charged $300 bucks more to transfer the bike since”the law says they can not possess anything touching the bike and they must pack it in a distinctive manner.” My bike was bent and scratched up. I’d wooden furniture lost cushions and cushions and also scraped. I’d Art busted. Boxes branded FRAGILE was packaged on underside and has been smashed. Boxes branded STAY/DO NOT TAKE has been packaged. The body function alone on the bike will be more expensive than that. My boxing gear will be more expensive than that. My power gear will be more expensive than that. Obviously what they will refund will not pay a portion of what has been lost or lost.

Do not use them. If you can not do it yourself then locate a local business to perform it. They’re bad. This was not a huge deal, I might cope with 45 seconds late. But once the truck did arrive, then there was ONE (1) mover. My furniture collection, that was so bulky they needed to charge an additional $700, was to be moved by a single person. The mover wasn’t able to receive the furniture to the home, so unloaded each of the furniture to the garage and abandoned. I needed to employ different movers to move the furniture to your home.

In general, I heard this provider is really a scam. They’ll quote you at a really low cost, then jack up the price as soon as they have your possessions. I talked to Daniel who had been accessible all of the time for almost any questions/concerns. I left a deposit of over $1,700+. I had been quoted a transfer of $5,700 ish w/a signed contract. It was originally to be a complete package out movement. After I was told that the price tag, it turned into a partial package out & contract was signed late on a Fri @ 6 pm. I had been told I’d be contacted another 1-2 days & that which could be finalized w/the moving date/time being supplied.

The point is, by the time that I talked to Craig it had been 1 day ago when I could’ve Cx my contract w/full refund. Movers revealed late & tried to tell me I’d need 2 of the 26′ trucks, so that the weight wasn’t about 10,000 pounds, but decided roughly 32,000 pounds & to not worry that this was only a”safe overestimate, but it would certainly return after the truck was loaded.” I requested for log of dry weight of the truck, so it had been not able to be supplied to me.

BTW, I made England w/my furniture coming in a 26′ truck when locally delivered into the USA. I left Washington for FL w/my furniture entirely fitting at a 26′ truck without any issue. I used to not need 52′ of trucks, as the movers which afternoon said I’d need. And that has been with unprofessional movers (day laborers) loading the majority of the truck as I scrambled to employ aid within 48 hrs of my walk thru date.

Don’t use this organization. They’ll quote you a fair price and it’ll go up. They don’t transfer your stock as they employ other companies to perform it and then they are going to charge you more cash too.

I had a consultation Wed, 9/28 and couldn’t answer my phone, even once I returned to my automobile, Ashley called and said,”When I call U following occasion, U better response.” In this entire time she’s been condescending, rude, threatening and incredibly disrespectful about the telephone. They include trumped up costs, lie into U and I have not been treated with this kind of HATE ever!! They R all in about the match!! They’ll cover their BAD, AWFUL Behavior! That is past my understanding of the reasons?

Broker subcontracted me through American Home Relocation, for that I had zero control over, and also the procedure was a complete nightmare. This provider is awful and I am surprised they’re still getting away with gouging money from folks. Please please PLEASE do your self a favor and go with another moving company. They have lied to us about prices, been misleading about arrival time of the moving truck, everyone we have spoken with appeared incompetent or deceitful, and I really could go on and on. We severely regret using them.

I had no clue this business was only a broker! They handed off the movement into American Home Relocation and what a miserable experience it had been — from both the agent and the subcontractor. The movers called at 5:30pm to state they’d be there at 6:30pm to its pickup after I had been originally told we would get 24 hrs notice. I diminished the time slot since we lived on a 4 lane street along with the police department needed to be informed in advance that we needed to park a truck to the ideal lane. (It had been after police department routine hours) Once they agreed to come the next morning, they showed up anyhow!! I specifically told Patriot Movers that there was a box of dishes and kitchen materials that would have to be repacked for your transfer. They came in together with all the boxes and literally chucked them onto the living room floor. They were already so damaged that we wanted to test all of the boxes prior to allowing the movers leave. They weren’t happy about this! Luckily , we had photographs of these contents of this storage device. A brand-new set of pans and pots somehow didn’t make it into the stock listing and vanished. We also had garbage cans and toilet supplies that didn’t belong to us! Inventory control was seriously inadequate. I had been advised that the reason the movement quote increased was since the cubic feet had forced them to get another truck. (yeah right) Once I moved out to the truck requesting to see whether the box of pots and pans was still on the truck I had been summoned to determine just how LITTLE distance our contents had shot on the vehicle!!! And, eventually — the TV did not work after we needed to buy a new power cord since it had been lost from the boxes. Since it required Amazon two days to get there from the time we contacted the movers it was, surprise, out the window it needed to be reported. This was a bunch of a movement and I don’t recommend this organization.

I had been told a lot of lies through this organization! Incredible! As soon as I hired them I asked how they can move me in such a fantastic price, $3500. They explained it was since they’ve lots of deliveries in 1 truck. They neglected to say that their”binding contract” means nothing whatsoever. He said he called and left me with a message that he had been on his way however as it happens, he called somebody else. He was not given my proper phone number. Then he asked if I”knew anybody” that he would pay to help load the truck up since he arrived alone. I had been tempted to help only to save a little cash. He ended up finding a helper in a local staffing service that he needed to go pick up that required an additional hour.

My fiancé and I left the following day and drove our cars from Phoenix to Chicago. On Sunday, 5/12, I got a call from one of the representatives stating that our things would be delivered in 3-7 days. That would be ideal — we’d have our stuff almost shortly after proceed in. The confirmation email I received had our address recorded incorrectly so that I had to email them back to ensure they understood where they were supposed to send to.

We arrived in Chicago on 5/15. My advice to anybody moving is to go directly through the carrier and remove the middle man. (Patriot) My substance has been picked up in Lacey, WA on 7/5/2019 and I’m still awaiting it. 7/31/2019. It had been promised within fourteen days of pick-up. Patriot used GTS shipping from Portland, OR and they won’t actually answer their cell phone. The sole way you could contact them is via email.
