    Long-distance move from Arizona
Pack Rite Movers , Patterson New Jersey

We hired Empire to transfer us throughout the nation. As they are agents and do not really do the transfer ( they employ and ship movers to you personally ) they shipped”Package Rite Movers” out of NJ to perform our relocation. Empire does not tell you they’re agents and it doesnt say on their site that they are agents. Apparently it is in the little writing about the contract. . So beware of the. When you speak to them, they provide you with the belief which they will be moving you..but they are not actual movers. The movers they shipped us attempted to double the price of this quote which Empire gave us saying that Empire interrupts the square footage of the home consequently , they must double the cost (and from double I suggest include an extra $10K into the already $13K we had been paying). They told me this after they’d already packed up our belongings and also had the truck locked and headed out. They said we couldn’t get our things till we paid them the extra money in money.

After exploring Bundle Rite Movers we found they now have an”F” rating with the BBB. Empire said we’d get our things within 8-10 days. We got our things nearly 3 weeks after. They gave us 5 dates of shipping and did not appear to some of these. My husband took some time off work every time in expectation of these coming and they neglected to appear to 5 distinct delivery dates that they gave us. Empire will state that shipping isn’t guaranteed. I get this, but 5 occasions we had been told they’d appear and did not. Eventually they showed up. Upon unpacking we found that virtually every piece of furniture has been ruined. They literally threw material in boxes without breaking anything. They drove my nice china (wedding gift ) to a box along with my coffee maker along with nearly all of my hamburger was busted. Matters which were very caustic to us (marriage presents, gifts from my own grandma ) were all destroyed. They billed us for”packaging stuff” yet hardly used packaging stuff. They even took our sheets and towels and used them as”packing material” so I am not really certain exactly what we paid $1400 for packaging stuff for.

We’ve moved 7 days and I have not had so many items destroyed or dealt with these unprofessionalism in all these motions. I was actually in tears since I dropped so many precious and valuable things to me personally in this particular move. Empire answer was that it had been outside of the hands, even though they delivered this business to us. When we had been given the chance to investigate who they had been sending (if Empire had been upfront with us about it and really told us that they had been agents rather than real movers), we wouldn’t have permitted Pack Rite to contact our items depending on the testimonials and their”F” rating with the BBB. I wouldn’t suggest Empire and certainly not scatter Rite Movers. . .It was among the worst experience I’ve ever had with a firm. Despite the fact that they were not present for whatever and didn’t have firsthand knowledge about anything, they stated we added things to the play, thereby diluting the rise in cost. This is a lie, since we really had less material after selling two dressers and throwing out a lot of things that we chose to not carry with us. Empire blamed us at each turn and would not accept responsibility for whatever went wrong. We dropped $10K worth of things that has been broken/damaged/stolen.
After talking with the proprietor Package Rite we had been told they’d'”Take care” of the broken/stolen stuff. They provided us $700 to pay the price of $10K worth of harm!! We feel cared for and heartbroken that we can not replace what we lost!! Beware of the”insurance” its a joke! This was undoubtedly the worst encounter with a moving business!!

    Long-distance move from Charlotte, NC
Move from North Carolina to Kentucky with one month free storage

Under no circumstances should anybody use this organization. I had been lied to, told understood the way to move heavy classic furniture and could take very great care of my furniture, particularly significant was a classic pump organ delivered to me by my Mother. Only wanted certain parts of classic and other parts of furniture transferred. Talked with a dispatcher 3 occasions about the movement, guaranteed every time that they understood how to proceed and take care of antiques. Never in these discussions did he mention that the movers didn’t policy musical instruments, obtained a text from Shadi relating to this once I whined. My antiques manhood has been broken in 3 areas – additional bits of antiques furniture using gouges, not dents, gouges in the furniture. Decorative wood on the side of antiques chest of drawers broken off: Hinges on 2 doorways twisted: broken bow front glass together with the foot on precisely the exact same cupboard broken and taped with duct tape, then the shirt was off centre – appeared just like the piece of furniture has been dropped. Upper along with a big thick cupboard so scraped and gouged through the veneer, it seemed other furniture was piled on top with no protection to the cover of the furniture. Additionally, a part of the decoration on one of those doors has been broken off. A bit on the wooden framework of my floor loom has been broken. Torn cloth on arm of classic sofa and a bit of the foot has been broken off.

Did not utilize moving van with emblem, utilized Penske moving trucks. Don’t take check, money upfront when they arrived to proceed and send. Told me need to pay additional cash since within the estimated quantity – money. The direct man kept telling me that he used additional wrap didn’t bill me. In addition, he wanted a suggestion for those employees because he didn’t bill for the additional wrappings. As soon as I told the direct guy I’d show him all of the furniture to move, ” he explained he understood and didn’t need me to reveal him. Now, I wish I’d insisted and followed them around to see just how matters were being wrapped.

When both guys from Jordan delivered my furniture, again in a Penske truck, then they were rather wonderful. One known as Shadi to inform him of those damages. As soon as I spoke with Shadi, I had been told he’d find somebody in the area to fix the damages – never occurred. Never answered my phone calls after that, text occasionally, without adequate answers. I’d quotes done myself, was advised couldn’t fix the veneer onto the wardrobe as unable to find that veneer, anymore. The gentleman fixes antique furniture and has been saddened by the damages for my bits of antique furniture. Sent quotes and pictures into PackRite, what a joke!!!

I had to employ other people to move 1 piece of furniture into the second floor since the 2 movers told me that they couldn’t receive the classic wardrobe up the staircase. Both guys I hired obtained the bit up the staircase and in place without difficulty.

I didn’t get a list checklist, was told that the man who did this not longer functioned with the firm, and it had been an honest mistake I did not receive the stock checklist. Could not locate my delivery backup following the shipping, contacted the company to acquire copy, never obtained a copy. I’m 76, needed to move since I purchased my house, also trusting because I thought what I had been told, didn’t get the nice print on back of this arrangement until the guys were in my house to transfer me, wanted the money, me personally to sign the agreement in order that they could move the furniture. I was stupid not to make them wait till I read it all., Felt positive, together with three discussions I had with the dispatcher that we had covered everything. WRONG!!! I called the business, crying, over the damages for my furniture. After that, it had been send maintain to the claims section. Cost me 4540 to possess a few of my furniture broken, gouged, and so profoundly scraped the routine was altered. Number of reimbursement form asserts is $269.00. Added for mediation, $500, if so preferred.

I got a telephone call from a Florida number. The guy told me when the firm contracted out to another individual or business and didn’t inform me, PackRite must refund half the price of this transfer. Have been unable to confirm that.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR MOVE If You Would like YOUR

    FURNITURE PROTECTED!!!!!!

    Fraud

This provider is a complete fraud. They hide behind agents (“Let’s go america” was the person who contacted me) that guarantee you a good quotation, and they then come along and rape you. They shifted me nearly 1000 bucks for transferring tape?!? Then million unique fees, until the cost tripled in the initial quote. They allow you to sign a contract before they provide you with the last cost, which means you don’t have any clue what’s coming. They then refuse to offer you back your furniture before you buy them in money (imagine why dont they take credit cards?) . Avoid at all price tag.

    Long-distance move from Raleigh, NC
    Bait and switch, unbelievably rude

We didn’t pick this organization but rather were put up with this business by means of a broker called Mega Van Lines. They did a Bait and change on the cost: We predicted to only request details about the purchase price, as our closing cost was double the quotation (almost $3000 even though a $1400 estimate ). Our quotation was based only on weight, however our closing cost was based on quantity. We gave the measurements of all items in the play, so there is no reason our quotation ought to have doubled. They also tacked on countless dollars in charges that were not part of the quotation: elevator charge ($180) and take charge ($75 for each 50 feet from truck into flat ). Additionally, they waited until the truck was completely loaded to provide us the last cost. They Are Really Unprofessional: JAN SHOULD BE FIRED. We called to ask about the pricing bait and switch position mentioned previously. The agent, Mega Van Lines, educated us to request JAN in Packrite Movers. After we brought our concern up for her over the prices, she started to shout at us. JAN SCREAMED AT US FOR NEARLY 10 MINUTES OVER THE PHONE. No client ought to be treated with such disrespect. Her anger was so out of control that she even used the’F-word’ to us. Her first reaction to my query was so defensive that among the first things she said was”We’ve quite expensive attorneys, and you aren’t going to locate a loophole”.

    SCAM!

SCAM! Bait and switch scam performance! I hired Super Van Lines to transfer me from WV to TN and also the movement has been intended for 6/11 having an entrance of 6/13-6/14. Mega Van Lines gave me an binding quote of ~$3,600. Under the stipulations of the contract, the whole price of my transfer wouldn’t exceed this last binding cost. They chased my move into PackRite, which I didn’t figure out until the afternoon of my movement. The men arrived 4.5 hours late on 6/11 at a white bath with graffiti on it. They loaded our things and immediately the cost doubled! They stated the firm underestimated the cubic foot of the objects, which had been a complete LIE. I needed to proceed immediately so that I was left with no option at the moment. I emphasized the significance of my things coming on 6/13 since I’d be starting my new job. The guys assured me that a shipping date of 6/13 and also composed”Delivery ensured” together with the date on my own contract. I wrote the business a personal check for $2,000 that they approved. The driver instantly took a photograph of it and delivered it to the director of PackRite called Jen.

This day, I text that the director of PackRite, Jen, who reacted by stating that my delivery was currently on 6/15-6/16. I phoned her and she always spoke over me through my effort to go over the shift in customs. I advised her regarding the shipping warranty written on my own contract and she requested me to ship it to her. I mailed her a photograph of this reception and she phoned me back SCREAMING at me and accused me of writing exactly what her motorist had actually written. She followed by stating,”Your Own SHIT is moving into storage and you are never likely to see it again” and wrapped up. I tried to call back several times, however, she refused my own calls. Finally I got into a different individual and upon trying to go over the delivery he explained,”FUCK YOU. You are going to receive your shit once your check clears” and wrapped up. Then I called Super Van Lines and talked with Eddie, who stated he’d call to learn what was happening and that he promised to phone me again, but never did.

For another two weeks, I phoned Super Van Lines and talked with Eddie on several occasions and every time that he promised to”get on the bottom of it”, but not once returned a telephone call. I phoned and talked with PackRite who advised me that my things would be sent by various people and needed to be loaded on to some other truck first. They supplied me with the telephone number for my motorist called”Pepe”, however once I phoned, he hadn’t any thought about my shipping and stated he’d phone me again, but never did. I had been provided a total of 3 different driver’s telephone numbers using the exact same precise outcome of no advice regarding my transfer. Multiple added efforts to have responses about my shipping date, place of my things, and motorist data was met without any reaction from Mega Van Lines, Jen, or even PackRite.

On 6/15, I called and was advised my delivery would finally arrive 6/17-6/18. Now , I had my lawyer reach out to Jen out of PackRite and Eddie in MVL. It had been asked that Jen be eliminated as the touch for the rest of my transfer and also that my lawyer get daily updates from Eddie concerning the status of my shipping. Neither PackRite nor Holy Van Lines complied with those agreed upon asks. At length, on 6/19, I got a telephone call from Pepe that my things would arrive at 6 pm. They came in 9:41 pm, and had been nearly 4 hours late and told me that my cash dictates weren’t any great and that my initial check wasn’t cashed and I had to pay them that balance in CASH until they’d overthrow the truck. I called the authorities now and they did their very best to solve this hostage scenario of my things. I ended up needing to visit an ATM for money out to complete paying those jokers and they eventually agreed to take my own money orders so long as I also gave them that the”customer reception” portion also, which is prohibited. They ended unloading our stuff about 2 AM and didn’t build anything just like it says they’d do from the contract. Our furniture has been ruined and lots of our boxes smashed. This business has to be put out of business!

    Everything wrong from the start!

Seriously scammers! Initially reserved with Alliance Storage and Moving, that rush you through obtaining some of your stock and get you a quote and tell you whatever that you wanna hear for you under contract. You need to track down them till two days before they are supposed to return to acquire a last stock where they double your price after you are already locked in and then send you over to Packrite who demolished a few of our items and failed to bring others back. When you inquire about a claim, or ETA of pickup and shipping also, they dismiss you. I needed to junk them with messages until I got somebody that was subsequently quite impolite. They’ll tell you whatever to get you beneath contract then twist you fully. When they arrive in pickup add more on your quote and anticipate it in money right then. Alliance explained 3-5 days Id have my own things after the chosen this up. The man that picked up my things said yes 3 times isn’t any issue. You then dont hear out of a soul for 6 weeks. Then thats when you are told that you are under packrite’s contract and it might take 30 business days today. Its super unethical! Along with the pick up men were super impolite and wanted a suggestion and began getting tough with my things once I said I didnt have it because they jacked my cost up AGAIN and had been out of money. I mean it moved up nearly 3K more! They’ll add in additional packaging things and not let you know and charge to them also. They needed $35 to wrap every little glass top table and $35 to get a mirror and $70 to get a glass top coffee table when I just paid $110 for its place to begin using so I told them forget it and ended up having to leave them. They’ll attempt to park further away and tack onto a lengthy haul charge at pickup. Delivery guys were super fine I’ll say but nothing remains on course AT ALL along with your initial quotation and put you up signal and then its too late to back out or you will lose $$$. Additionally 1 day before they were supposed to pick up, they had been stating that they might not have anyone manage to come out that is complete BS seeing as how I reserved it two months before! It would have frankly cost me less to throw off most things and purchase new and send the remainder to myself, dont do it trust me! Sure learned a lesson and try to assist others. Scam!!!!!!

    Long-distance move from Baltimore, MD
    WARNING! DONT USE!

BEWARE! Here is the most dreadful company I have ever dealt with and also the worst encounter with a business I have ever had. I was originally quoted $4800 for the 900 mile transfer in Baltimore, MD to Memphis, TN. I hired this business for complete service package and proceed services. The man explained that my quote didn’t include packaging material and basically the quotation simply included them putting things in boxes and transferring them into my new site. This was NEVER told to me personally! Why would a complete service packaging plus move NOT incorporate the damn substance!? I had no option except to accept as 1. They already took $1,500 deposit from me a couple of weeks before, AND I just had 1.5 months to reach Memphis before beginning my new job, therefore that I could not actually let them to take a hike and find somebody else. These folks told me that they say it takes anywhere between 3-14 days to receive my things into Memphis, but they continued to inform me,”oh it will not take 14 weeks, it will probably take 5 times maximum”. Day of transfer, they came to my place 3 hours late, and this is a massive problem because I lived in a apartment complex which necessitated reserving for the cargo lift, WHICH THEY KNEW. I even booked a double time slot, therefore that they had from 8am-4pm to utilize the elevator. They came and started packing and moving. They proceed together with zero urgency and really did not give a damn to watch over my things. My 66 year old buddies were there to assist me wrap up everything and since they had been so late, and we had been at a time crunch my parents and I needed to help package and MOVE items to the truck together (which is exactly what I was trying to prevent by buying the entire service transfer ). Obviously , it cost me cash with my complicated since they weren’t done until after 7pm. As soon as they left, the man said they’d stay in contact with us the whole trip and keep us posted about what, but gave us a number to phone to check in, anyways. I drove down to KY to place up in my parents home to wait patiently to hear about an ETA of my things. They said they’d provide me a 24-hour heads up when my things could arrive, so that we can turn it down to Memphis. Following 5 times in KY and not hearing anything out of them, my dad called the business (since he talked the exact same language as the owner/manger/main man and it was simpler that way), and that man told him…”material is about the truck, and they are just about to depart, you ought to go on and return to Memphis as your stuff will probably be there tomorrow or the next day (Wednesday or Thursday the newest ). Thus, we packed up our automobiles and everything out of KY I had and also the next morning (Tuesday) we left to get Memphis. Wednesday came and went and we noticed nothing, end of day Wednesday, my dad called and he said,”yes, tomorrow they are there”. Thursday came and went, and after repeated efforts of calling Bundle Rite, NO ONE ANSWERED. This was true for another 3 days! I eventually called the agent firm (General Moving and Storage, please visit inspection for them, plus a dreadful company with terrible support and individuals ), plus they gave me crap updates and obtained no responsibility for hiring a UNLICENSED, UNINSURED, FRAUDULENT organization to move my belongings. The movers didn’t arrive at Memphis before Friday of this subsequent week, 10 freaking days! So, 15-16 days complete from the time that they picked my stuff up. (Notice: that the movers are young men that are really house painters and don’t have any expertise moving, forcing, and so on, and needed to do this task because they lost their jobs because of COVID, also, they said they had been delayed because they had been stopped for 2 hours in a weigh station because they don’t have log books or ANYTHING else since the proprietor is a scam artist crawl ). The jerk that packed my material wrapped MULTIPLE plates piled on top of each other with ONE sheet of packaging paper. Vast majority of my meals were also shattered. They simply dumped things in boxes and nearly all of my boxes were flipped upside down and delivered like that. My furniture has been ruined, missing knobs, gashes, dents, tears, and dirt everywhere about all of them. Furthermore, all of my curtain sticks and my big costly step ladder were either stolen or else they dropped them. Watch their profile on BBB.

DO NOT HIRE PACKRITE OR ALLIANCE MOVING AND STORAGE!

My husband and I hired a moving agent (Alliance Storage and Moving ), who in turn, hired PackRite Movers to deal with our long-distance movement. We had been quoted a price based on the cubic footage of the products (~1200 cu. Ft.) and have been advised to anticipate a slight increase according to our real products. We’re educated to deposit 1/3 of their entire price before services are rendered, which equates to $1229.80. On Friday afternoon, PackRite Movers came with a 26-foot moving truck, which we afterwards discovered can only have a maximum capacity of 1700 cubic feet (per the Penske site ). The Forman counted our objects and projected 1400 cubic feet prior to loading. This sounded reasonable, so we permitted him to move. After he was finished loading,” he advised us that it had been 1800 cubic feet (even though the shifting truck being 2/3 complete ), and he billed us additional packaging materials, which have been assumed to be free of charge (with a few exception mentioned in Alliance Moving and Storage’s contract). The Forman on shipping even admitted that there was an extra 300 cubic feet of another individual’s possessions in the vehicle, but he wouldn’t let me take photos. My husband did not know any better (I wasn’t present at the time), and because we had been at risk of dropping our large residue, and we absolutely had to proceed that weekend, so we had no option but to sign the contract. We were confident that we can submit a claim for their customer support department to rectify this matter. On shipping, we paid the extra $1932 in money as we had been led, and I filed a thorough claim by PDF and from email to PackRite Mover’s customer support section. I supplied photos of the moving van, its own licence plate, and also our items to guarantee evidence that we had been overcharged. Additionally, I supplied a complete copy of the contract. PackRite Movers has disregarded my claim on the reasons that I signed the contract on going day. I think that this is an unacceptable reaction.

Not mentioned within my claim would be the 3 bits of broken particle board furniture, that have endured four complete moves once I pack them myself. They aren’t a part of my claim since PackRite Movers compels you to sign up a contract which waives them of any responsibility if those things are broken.

Even if I don’t get a refund, it’s my expectation that this company was designed to stop taking advantage of consumers. I didn’t seek the services of this business, and I wouldn’t ever employ this business based on customer testimonials. (The Better Business Bureau also offers them an F-rating.) I had been made to use them due to this moving agent, Alliance Moving and Storage. It’s my expectation that Alliance Moving and Storage is made aware of these activities and that they think twice before hiring PackRite Movers again.

To anybody thinking about a moving agent: Do not hire one. They don’t communicate efficiently with all the movers (we’d several problems not mentioned here), and they place all responsibility on the movers. I work with builders and subcontractors every day, and this kind of support is unheard of. The builder consistently takes responsibility to the subcontractor’s activities, as they’re the ones who hired them. Alliance Moving and Storage chosen the cheapest mover, despite them using an F-rating and 1-star client testimonials everywhere.

I repeat, DO NOT HIRE PACKRITE MOVERS OR ALLIANCE MOVING AND STORAGE. You’ll be scammed. Regardless of making a complaint to the BBB, I will likely not receive any cash back.
