Oscar Moving

Following our move was reserved with Oscar Transferring, the only real action from the firm was to control a 25% deposit that was actually charged by Moving & Storage Enterprises. Apparently they reserve for Oscar Moving along with many others since Oscar Transferring comes with an Out Of Service standing contrary to it and can not really move anything themselves. After the driver from the other firm contracted by Oscar required a 40 percent up-charge following loading, we attempted calling our sales rep and customer support to complain but there was no response. Repeated telephone calls and mails to the’customer support’ contacts on Oscar Transferring’s site to dispute charges went unanswered for days. When someone finally replied, they refused to even discuss the up-charge. The delivery driver from still another firm found our zip code has been too far in the city and required a 75 percent surcharge to deliver that we declined and organized pickup with a local business at our cost. Conclusion – Do not drop for a too good to be true quotation and employ a real moving company with customer service and follow through.
