I had been a retired instructor looking for a mover to move to Alabama.   I stored for a year to Get Ready for this movement and had no Excess cash.   I believed I had been studying movers by reading reviews on sites, but I’d no thought that I need to research other Websites Such as Yelp, etc..   The inspection sounded great, the cost was fair, and so I booked throughout the winter to Be Able to get reduced prices to get a summertime move.   I recorded every thing, each box in my stock and paid my deposit.   Before the movers arrived, client service called and gave me the ways to cover the 60 percent I had to cover pickup.   She then told me if there was more inventory, and there was not, that there might be additional fees.   I advised her that I didn’t have additional things and Couldn’t pay extra.   She explained tell the man that, and when he says there’s more, have him leave a few behind.   Sure enough, the man, he stated his name was Chan, told me that I owed more.   A Whole Lot more!   I informed him I couldnt do this.   He said let’s put it on the truck and determine just how much it is.   Meanwhile, he hurried me thru signing a paper that recorded the obligations I’d already made, while he hurried the movers to pack the truck.   In the conclusion, he told me that the cost, which was nearly twice, and I freaked out.   I cried and he called his boss, and started speaking to him in a different speech, middle eastern or Hebrew, and that I could tell by his expressions and tone of voice that he Wasn’t doing me any favors.   He requested him to speak English and he said NO!   He gave me the telephone to Speak with his boss that he did take a bit off, maybe not much.   While I’m on hold, he requested me to sign the stock.   I told him I’d sign the stock but wasn’t planning to sign anything that stated I owed that much.   He handed me a copy of everything and left along with my things while I was still on the telephone.   When I looked at it afterwards, he’d stuffed at the numbers on the first page I’d signed which makes it seem like that I consented to those numbers.   They have my things.   However, the story does not end there.   I predict daily for upgrades.   Initially I thought that the customer support folks were attempting to assist, however, so much has happened I dont even know exactly what to think.   For Many days my advice Wasn’t on the pc following the pickup.   They couldnt tell me why, saying he may not have access to your pc???? The pickup was in Houston, along with also my stuff moved into their Houston office, I believe.   No access to computer nowadays??? I Believe That’s a crock!   Then eventually, it was from the pc but not getting assigned to a motorist.   My ETA shifted from 0-7 days, to 14 days, and now to 21 business days.   Excuses, active year, short on motorists, on and on.   Then on Thursday, the upgrade said that my possessions were loaded onto a truck, a motorist was delegated and could phone me 24 hours before shipping.   Bear in Mind that this is for a transfer less than 500 milesper hour. Friday the upgrade stated the same.   Monday exactly the same.   Then today I’m advised, No it Isn’t on a truck without a driver has been delegated.   So lies were advised for days.   However they state not lies, only schedule changes and They’re still within 21 days.   I really don’t have some recourse.   I asked if I could cancel the transfer and get a uhaul to Receive my things out of their warehouse and deliver it here on my own.   Yes should I cover for entire transfer cost plus 500 additional.   Unscrupulous Firm.   Now I am praying I really get my possessions.   I’m fearful!!! I’m mad!!! And from yelp testimonials, etc..   I now know this is normal practice with this particular corporation.
