Last week, I moved from Indiana into Valrico, Florida to get work. When I called, they had been right into the stage and friendly and respectful. I talked with Dave and he said he would be there 10am Wednesday afternoon, and then there that he had been right now. And him were Arnold and Mike, two of the most powerful work horse I have ever had the joy to use. All of them dived in, moving out of a three story apt to your two story apt. They never slacked and had unbelievable energy and excitement for challenging, heavy labour. For being blood and flesh men, they worked enjoyed machines and still I can listen to Arnold’Gimme a bit more!’ . And that has been preparing to unload until the next floor. They have been DAM great, DAM like in Dave, Arnold, and Mike. When I really, I get you all a chilly one for your quick, challenging joby’all did, in couple of hours, then no further from start to finish.

Hats off fellas and Spacious Road Moving and Storage? Not only have you have yourselves a helluva group there, I shall 100% phone on you again for transferring!

We moved out of our house in Scottsdale, AZ into a new home in Beaverton and Open Road Moving and Storage couldn’t have been more amazing!!! I have never needed a transfer where there was not damage either to a product or walls/floors etc. but Open Road Storage and Moving did not leave even a mark on whatever. How that they wrap, manage, and take care of your possessions and house is unlike every other company I have ever worked with. For perspective that is my 8th movement in seven years…. Our team consisted of Larry, Joseph, and Dave. Daniel another foreman even came after wrap up another movement simply to help out! They wrapped each bit of furniture, set a protective mat on the primary walk ways through the house, wrapped door frames, bannisters, etc. to protect against any harm (to be truthful they never even got near some wall/door). I’d hire them again in a heartbeat!! These men WORK and they operate FAST! There’s no down time for them. I am probably forgetting half of those wonderful things that they did but couldn’t be happier! They really went above and beyond in every facet!!!

What a joy and relief to obtain this amazing moving business. I had a multi-part movement out of a storage device along with my previous flat into a brand new one from another nation. They met me in my storage facility in time, had the storage emptied in half an hour, emptied my previous flat unit and needed me place and ready to move in 4 and a half an hour. They wrapped my furniture, boxed and labeled everything, so this saved time. The 3 guy shifting team, Arnold, Ray and Matthew were aware of carefully moving things so that there could not be any damage or breakage. I am fairly picky therefore this was a significant relief. They also did a masterful job directing a huge couch through a doorway which had little room for error – perhaps not a dent was abandoned. They even rolled out a floor inspector to minimize dirt on the ground. Very personable, comprehensive and that does not wish to encourage a business which employs veterans. Thanks for your service men. I will recommend you later on.

I utilized Open Road Moving and Storage also it had been the very best moving experience I’ve ever had!!! In the very first telephone call to investigate throughout the transfer they did a wonderful job both communicating and moving. No hidden charges or surprise fees.
They phoned the day before to confirm and they had been there immediately when they stated they’d be there. I had a 2 man team appear and they have right to work. All of the items that they transferred came unbroken or undamaged and they put the things where I asked even shifting and thing or 2 once I changed my thoughts.
They wasted no more time unloading and loading and took debris away once they abandoned.

Moving charge is quite reasonable also.

Frank and Chriss and Alex showed up in time and merry. They kept calling me”boss” although I insisted that they call me by my first name. It really became amusing after a time, so we only went with it regardless of how warm the weather captured and how thick the boxes obtained. I kept offering bananas and water into the men but they politely declined and only kept muscling throughout the transfer. I have experienced other movers make the most of my talkative-ness by booting up a storm whilst taking a great deal of breaks. They’re covered by the hour, so it is exactly what happens. Perhaps not with Frank and his team. They simply kept moving like Energizer bunnies. Frank and I spoke about Crossfit and traded great suggestions on nutrition and lifting. These men couldn’t have been more friendly or professional. The company that I work for dies and lives on customer reviews, so when I receive excellent customer service I’m super impressed. Did Frank and his team undergo the large shifting task efficiently and carefully, they gave me the reassurance I had made the perfect choice from movers. Moving is stressful enough on several levels. Open Road Moving and Storage knows this, therefore its workers must understand how to create one of the most difficult parts of moving simple, and perhaps even enjoyable. Thanks again, guys.

I came across Open Road Moving and Storage while Googling moving firms in Los Angeles and took a chance based on their own favorable reviews. I am very happy I did. They made my transfer from Sherman Oaks to Arizona totally painless.

My movers were David, Jack C, and Peter. They were fantastic. They came on time, were completed in just a couple of hours, and were quite respectful of my items. I had a 1 bedroom with a reasonable amount of stuff along with a few large, awkward products. Notably a sofa which actually could not match the stairs in my new flat so that they passed it up into the next floor in the building’s courtyard (it had been quite striking ).

I have already recommended Open Road Storage and Moving to a buddy with an impending move and that I will surely be using them again.

I’m a living proof that these folks are ideal in supplying moving services. I saw them relocate me last week and the encounter was more than perfect. With minimal oversight from my side, they could move all of my possessions from Georgia to North Carolina. Their moving providers were amazing and I am grateful. I think in amazing services. The only men and women who deserve my devotion are individuals that are capable of sowing their professionalism and worth; such as Open Road Moving and Storage. Through their cute move solutions, I managed to move so peacefully and beautifully. They completed their role an ideal way and that which was wonderful.

We had a complex movement, as it entailed downsizing and had three phases to it: Around half of our house has been moved to our storage center, and then another half required to be kept in Open Road Storage and Moving before our house closure was finalized. The next involved moving us into a new house almost a week afterwards. Two groups of 4 were headed by Evan and Ricky, all of whom were amazingly efficient. I especially loved that Evan’s staff was subsequently delegated to our move-in, because we had been conversant with him and him together with our possessions. Every bit point at Open Road Storage and Moving was fantastic! In the very first quote, to this sales/quote procedure with James, and also to client support on the telephone. I would highly recommend this firm.

I can not even start tell you how pleased my husband and I had been with Open Road Moving and Storage. They’re so helpful and easy to use. These guys did an amazing job! They wrapped all of the furniture carefully before loading up it, that we really loved. We used these to maneuver my daddy’s possessions in an 800 sq feet flat into a storage device and end up having to split the movement into two individual times – halfway through the transfer, thunderstorms rolled into and did not appear to be leaving anytime soon. Now, Mike asked my father if they might come back in the afternoon and complete the job. My father was reluctant initially (half his things had been already loaded up from the vehicle ) but Mike assured us about the protection of the truck and also it had been locked out behind their gate etc.. Mike and Arnold (different man from the day earlier ) showed up bright and early the following morning to complete the task! They worked hard and efficiently, even if we were all disappointed to learn that the storage device we had been moving everything into was about the next floor rather than the first floor since we’d intended (with no lift!) . The men were super fine and labored hard – could certainly use them again!

Open Road Moving and Storage assisted us with our move last week. I had been stressing out because of how big our furniture was and our 9ft couch would just match 3 flights of stairs. Lily told me that they’re professionals and will handle whatever comes in their way. Fast forward to going day, the movers had been full gentleman and went the excess mile to wrap all of our white sheet furniture up several occasions for additional safety. They wrapped the nice art exactly like professional artwork handlers would. I was dismissed. They invested a total of seven days transferring us into our new house and what was in excellent condition on arrival. I’ll consistently utilize Open Road Storage and Moving at the near future and will recommend them to everybody!! Thank you guys a lot for white glove service for a reasonable price. Forever grateful.

This is my second time with Open Road Moving and Storage movers to organize my transfer. I couldn’t recommend them enough. Mark, both Benjamin and Carlos are quick, effective and exceptionally professional. Considering that the movement is priced by quantity of time, I certainly felt as if they had been on my side hoping to find the maximum done inside the smallest potential duration.

I have not consistently used movers and that I had been doubtful about whether or not it would be too costly and not worth it, however most of my worries have been allayed using Open Road Moving and Storage. So long as Open Road Moving and Storage is about I will always rely on them – they are low price, higher caliber and DEFINITELY worth the cost.

This is my boyfriend’s first time with movers and that he was also incredibly impressed and agreed that Open Road Storage and Moving was worth the cost. I’ve a feeling that he too won’t ever return to self-moves from today on! Due Open Road Moving and Storage:-RRB-

We only employed Open Road Storage and Moving this weekend to proceed. I was somewhat nervous because we’ve all heard the horror stories concerning scammy movers (harmful things, lost items, intentionally slow, anyhow ). None of this was true using Open Road Moving and Storage.

The telephone call and internet sign up encounter was terrific. Each of the details have been clarified. There really are a few things that we needed to cover individually – but it looks like all of the moving firms charge for specific add ons (cling wrapping TVs etc). Not one of these were also a surprise on the afternoon.

They came on time, calling beforehand to tell us they were in their way. They promptly went into work. The men moved fast but not carelessly. They were quite clear on what they’re doing constantly.

I can not emphasize enough how quickly they worked. We almost went with a level rate mover to make convinced we woudln’t be cared for, but that was significantly less than half of what that firm quoted.

I’d certainly go with Open Road Moving and Storage again later on.

I hired Open Road Storage and Moving for my own transfer on 08/17/19. Joseph and his group were great! Seriously! They’re so fine and never to mention SUPER quickly and attentive with my things. I relieved me of my own shifting stress in a minute! In case I ever move back, I’d definitely hire them. Thus professional and understands what they’re doing. I was quite fearful of having my furnitures scraped but did not find a single scrape. They proceeded more items that I informed them so which was fine and came with the additional individual that was considerate of these. They were very thoughtful of my brand new carpeting in my new apartment. In general, amazing! Joseph and his staff are jewels and I am convinced are beneficial to your corporation! Will recommend and employ them again for sure!

Open Road Moving and Storage is a great moving business! Nick, Alex and Natan were exceptionally professional, effective and enjoyable to socialize with. The movement went as easy as it could be. They moved everything from my location and also stopped by means of a storage centre to pick up extra things before dropping off it to the new residence. They packaged the big items well did not have any significant damages nor small ones either that I can see so far (only moved in!)
Preparing a date together was simple and they have been incredibly accommodating when I needed to alter the transfer date and then move it back over 2-3 months of their original date.

If we only knew then, back in November of 2018, what we know today about Open Road Moving & Storage, we’d not have hired Open Road Moving & Storage. We do not understand how you can sleep at night knowing what you scam your clients into thinking. We’re senior citizens on a fixed income and sorely disappointed on your dreadful job ethics and client services.
We obtained a callback just minutes after asking online about receiving quotes from moving companies to transfer us from NC into PA.. Brian Hannan telephoned us together with that which he claimed to be the very best quote we can get from anybody else. He persuaded us to proceed and stock each space with him and inform him exactly what things we had been intending to proceed. His quote was $3808.49 with all the”Inspection” we had been eligible for. He PROMISED US that we can utilize our American Express charge card for the whole movement, however NEVER ONCE MENTIONED that there are no surcharge for doing this. We gave him a deposit of $1427.87 billed into our American Express card, which we now understand is really their”FEE” to subcontract to another party moving business. This third party firm was become Moseley Van Lines located in Fort Lee, NJ, which we didn’t now until they came 4 1/2 hours late to begin our movement. ! At least 8 driving hours away from us at NC. A follow up telephone call to people from Open Road requested for a different list of the items to be transferred, which resisted the cost due to the possible burden of those items. We attempted to locate a way to back out of our deal with Open Road, however when we did, we’d have needed to forfeit 50 percent of our residue. We chose to package as far as we can ourselves and purchased our very own moving boxes. Negotiating a shifting date was a dreadful experience also. We finally got Open Road to give to a company shifting date because we needed to become our of our rental house on a particular date. On Friday afternoon, Mosley Van Lines delivered a fairly beatup truck along with 4 guys. They came 4 1/2 hours late explaining that they needed to push all of the way to Morehead City, NC in significant traffic. They had been instructed to not call us personally, so we needed to rely upon a really unprofessional man to keep us updated on when they’d eventually arrive. They started packing our furniture at 2:30 in the day on January 2, 2019. We had been residing at a 2000 sq. ft. condominium. They worked all day and throughout the evening and into the morning after. It required them 16 1/2 hours to pack up us!!!!!!! Nobody has any sleep….the movers, people , our neighbors. The last cost of the $3808.48 movement was be $13,249. We are retired and living on a fixed income and are still reeling from the overcharged scam which Spacious Road and Mosley Van Lines billed us.
We’ve attempted many times to get hold of them, have delivered copies of our shifting bills and lists of everything they packaged and’ve heard NOTHING from either Open Road or even Mosley Van Lines. The last blow after obtaining this bill that we needed to cover on the web before the movers will depart together with all our furniture is that they also charged us $600 to the”privilege” of using our American Express Credit card, that Brian Hannan promised us are nice to work with, except made out the area where there are no surcharge for doing this and neglected to inform me the truth once I asked about using it. I attempted to phone them again yesterday and have a voice mail to leave a message. Mosley’s amount isn’t functioning at the moment. We feel robbed and cheated by Open Road along with Mosley Van Lines. We’re in the process of creating a claim to your Better Business Bureau for the two businesses.

Don’t USE! I believed I’d discovered a respectable moving company to assist with my movement… boy was I wrong! Everything sounded great before the movers showed up at my door, then it only got worse and worse. I had been cheated on several accounts and did not find out before the movers showed up at my door and I had been in a tight place as I needed to be outside of the home from the following day.

I’m convinced that the evaluations they reveal online are either fabricated or compensated for advertisements. When I called them they did not try to make it appropriate. The most they did was provide me $150 (from a $9,000 transfer ) and state they eliminated the carrier out of their listing. This was just after repeated efforts to speak with their customer support section. The majority of my messages and also e-mails were not replied.

Here are a Few of the main problems I had with Open Road:

1. My transfer wouldn’t be contracted out to another party, something that I especially inquired about and has been assured that it had been an Open Road truck. Only then was I advised that they all do is contract outside.

2. My transfer was likely to be less expensive than the competitor I received a quotation from. This competition didn’t include everything in their stock checklist, but came up with a weight approximately 10,000 pounds, which had been my quote and that was later demonstrated. In the close of the day I’d have been incredibly better off using their competitor.

3. My quoted price was that the absolute maximum I would need to pay unless my burden was over the quote, and that when my weight was less it WOULD return. STAR Transferring USA (the real moving truck that the bought my contract out of Open Road) explained that WAS NOT how it worked and that it would just grow because he bid to the entire truck price and it would not be profitable for him if it had been any less. I had been led to feel that when my weight was less than the quote I’d have a price reduction for the complete quantity of every pound less. It took 2 weeks of haggling, Open Road’s participation and higher tension for a point at which I had been provided a price reduction of half of the pound price for every single pound less than my quotation. On account of the large tension that pervaded for the rest of the day I didn’t put over the packers because I had been anxious if I did they wouldn’t look after my household products. This induced me not to inspect every box that they packaged.

4. The Open Road cost I paid was itemized to show a particular sum of over $1000 for the packaging price. This packaging price has been further broken down into the particular amount of each kind of box needed. I had been told by Open Road that the longer boxes I packed myself, the longer I’d spare. STAR Transferring USA refused to perform any kind of box counting saying that there wasn’t any such thing as a different”packaging” price, that it had been a”complete” moving bundle I paid for and that it had been impossible to do anything since his group could pick the best buys that had to be utilized. I heartily disagree with”best” because you can see in the images I aspire to attach once I post the inspection. When I talked with Open Road that afternoon I had been told I just wanted to make him stay track, I am not very certain how I was supposed to do this when he flat out denied.

5. The packing job was totally horrific.They did NOT use ANY delicate picture boxes! Four of my big pictures where squished together, with nothing involving them, and wrapped in a blanket. It’s a miracle that just one of the frames had chipped glass! I am just very grateful that I packaged up a great deal of my pictures myself before they came!

6. I was flat out lied to by Open Road and STAR Transferring USA about obtaining climate controlled storage. I especially asked each over once if I’d be receiving climate controlled storage to that I was confident I’d be. As a result of my dreadful experience I chose to pay a bit extra and have another business go for my things from storage for final delivery. I found out of the business that my household products weren’t saved in a climate controlled storage device.

All these morons have to get placed in prison for those lies and sneaking they perform to their clients. Not only did they hit me out over and over when I made a quotation to get a transfer I had been doing. They assured me that this was the very best price and my home will return to its destination in a couple of times (Charlotte to Boston). Well many of my home had been lost or damaged and then those assclown each of the sudden do not answer the telephone or emails or offer no informations stating I”was not in their method”. I still may have a visit to Florida to find out exactly what this area looks like in person lol. You live and you understand but please do not make the identical mistake that I did, remain far away from these types of snakes!

I flew down from Ohio to Alabama about the Friday morning that the trucking firm was supposed to pick up my daughter’s household products, to assist my daughter tie up any loose ends and allow her to drive back to Ohio. The movers were supposed to pick her up (2 bedroom, where the 1 area was used for mild storage) townhouse possessions that Friday or Saturday. She’d called 3 months beforehand to schedule the pickup and obtained a Friday / Saturday window. She allowed herself 1 week until she began her new job. The Friday / Saturday window went and came. My daughter named Saturday evening to acquire the condition of the pickup without a return calls from Dylan. She eventually got a call from customer support at around 6PM stating the truck broke down and that they didn’t possess yet another trucking outfit to choose their own place. They’d work with it. When asked about reimbursement we were eventually told a patent response that”pickup’s are projected times/days”, no reimbursement due. Subsequently What’s the USE OF GIVING A WINDOW AND CALLING 3 WEEKS AHEAD OF TIME TO SET UP A PICK UP, IF THEY CAN’T EVEN MEET THAT? We finally got a call on Monday stating that a trucking firm would be present to pick her up products that day. Business didn’t appear until about 7:35PM. Obviously the cost increased. We asked when we can expect her things to be sent in Ohio and they informed us we’d have family products in Ohio in about two – three times. From the time they ended packing/loading the truck it had been too late for us to push back into Ohio. We left early Tuesday morning. My daughter’s products didn’t arrive in 2 – 3 times. The trucking firm came at 8:00PM Sunday night. My daughter needed to begin her new job on Monday morning. DO NOT USE THIS OUTFIT FOR YOUR MOVING NEEDS. Utilize an organization which is going to stick with their pricing and pickup window. This will help save you a great deal of headaches.

THEY DO NOT MOVE ANYTHING. THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY FOR A “DOWNPAYMENT” WHICH IS JUST THIER FEE. THEY SEND YOUR INFORMATION TO ANOTHER COMPANY THAT THAN CHARGES YOU 3 TIMES THE QUOTED PRICE. BEWARE!!!!
They started out a month ago following a comprehensive walk through of their house on the telephone offered $6900 to transfer us in Texas to Ohio for example 3 bedrooms, two bathroom, Toilet, Goldwing motor bicycle along with trailer. They called again two weeks ago and the cost moved up so we decreased that which we had been moving. Thier policy in order that they say is somebody will come outside to acquire real pricing. We gave that a deposit of $1940.71, afterward since you lose 50 percent of the deposit if you cancel 48 hours prior to the transfer they called two weeks before the transfer and said we had 2 trucks today and it’ll cost $4000.00 longer for your transfer which necessitates extra $2041.00 bucks. We added some thing to this transfer from the next dialog. Movers appear just 1 bath, they can not shoot the Motorcycle or trailer and they’re likely to charge an additional $5000.00. Open Road moving also stated it might take 3-5 days, even the business that showed up just picks up the things, they carry it into a storage facility compared to transports into a storage device, then transports into a truck, and 4 transports afterwards and two weeks after they’ve it to Ohio at the end of February, picking up on February 17th.

Very bad experience with this firm. Called and talked to Dylan. He gave me a quote of $1444.00 to get us moved. I gave him the comprehensive inventory nothing more and nothing less was packaged onto the moving truck. 1. The trucking business is not the same firm that’s a subcontractor. 2. They were supposed to appear between 11am and 1pm but did not reveal until 7:30pm (in the dark) and did not depart until 11:00pm. 3. The bill was $1,000 greater than DYLAN lent me since the movers proceed by sqft not burden. 4. Called DYLAN to talk to him regarding the situation and he said he’d call me back in 3 minutes. He did not… I sent him an email and he NEVER responded.
What a crap business! Awful enterprise. Beware!

I used them for my transfer in SC into UT and it was a dreadful experience. They gave me a single quote then the second time I speak to somebody it goes even thousands more afterward when the real movers who work for another firm come they jack up the cost thousands more. I had been advised that it belongs by weight however, the inspector spoke about cubic square feet. I do not really know what I had been billed dependent on since if the so called client support supervisor said she’d look to it then never known. I have tired of calling and getting the run around so that I attempted to dispute the charge on my credit card since I didn’t get the less stress I was educated and compensated for. I obtained much more stress and tricked from my cash. They need to not be in company and won’t ever use a broker again. The moving business they use have yet another firm deliver the material. It wasn’t worth the cash I paid and that they ruined my belongings. Open Road did not even care whatsoever after they had my money also I’d my things they did not wish to speak to me anymore. I wish I did not even have to decide on a star since I’d do negative stars if I could. They do not even deserve 1 star.

The one thing that you can be certain of is that you will never find out your deposit again. Please be aware that this is NOT A MOVING COMPANY. They’ll write you a quote and then subcontract your relocation to some other company who might or might not honor that quote. In my instance, following Open Road gave me a quote to move particular recorded pieces of furniture, so the movers showed up and required (in money ) 50 percent over the quote. As soon as I dropped to pay the excess cash, Open Road denied to refund my deposit. I reported this on the charge card business, and the proprietor of Open Road LIED in his announcement to them, accusing me about adding additional things on transfer day. Moral of the story: ” They aren’t movers. The quote they provide you means nothing, and also they can’t be expected to act at any decency if anything goes wrong. Utilize this business at your own danger.

I’ve moved many times within the last couple of years to get my occupation. Every movement I’ve done previously was a complete nightmare! I was really hesitant about having a moving business but since I am one woman, there was no way I can get it done by myself. When I first spoke with Brian, I was quite impressed with his understanding of this very unethical business. I was even more impressed by just how honest he was going everything that can go wrong and also what his firm would do in order to avoid these things from happening to me personally. After I made a decision to proceed and put down my deposit, then they handed me to their own client support group and every one of the women in that section proved so helpful during the procedure. On the afternoon of the move I added last minute things and I was told that the cost would be rising due to the extra space it might take on the vehicle. I wasn’t happy about it at all so I called customer service and talked with their supervisor Judy. She talked with the driver and managed to negotiate together so I could bring my additional things without having to pay as far since they were quoting me. She actually went to bat for me and got it solved quickly and that’s what led me into writing this review. My experience wasn’t great — but a single thing that I could mention is that Open Road actually worked in my own behalf to be sure I was still comfortable and cared for. Coming from a person that has transferred a few times with a number of organizations, I’d definitely recommend using their services. I understand who I am likely to call for the next move!

If I could provide them a -10 review I’d. They had been the most wonderful company I spoke to on the telephone until they got my cash. The moment they got my cash a 360 occurred. I needed to always follow them up even when they said they’d call. Incredibly long story short,”Dylan” the sales rep that offered me the fantasy of getting my stuff by day 5 when they picked up my possessions was a whole lie. Come to find out they’re to NEVER ensure a date that he did. This was the sole reason I picked them! I wound up getting my things daily 15. In this time period noone could even give me an estimated date when my materials would be sent. No-one even understood where my stuff was for days, which can be incredibly unsettling. I then get my things just to be overlooking 3 boxes along with my brand-new furniture ruined beyond repair. “Dylan” promised me if I was not content with the movement I would not need to pay the last payment. This was a whole LIE and you need to cover or they won’t actually unload in the trailer. Then my things all smelled like pig [EDIT] like it sat at a stinky ass trailer for two weeks. I’d multiple broken things, lost items, boxes which were opened afterward re taped for some strange reason. I feel as if my things were really gone through and things were stolen. I emailed Open Road to provide them the chance to fix it until I began putthing these reviews on the market and SURPRISE they’re dismissing my email. At the moment that I have registered a complaint with the BBB. We’ll see how this works out however I’m asking for a complete refund as a result of their lack of maintenance and inducing attempts to even respond and solve this situation.
