I hired One Globe Moving of Phoenix, Arizona, to load a 26 ft U-Haul Truck on June 29, 2011. My moving encounter with a single Earth Moving was dreadful from the very start. To make a long story short, the proprietor, Mitch Sweeney showed up in my home in a lousy mood. Everything I requested him to perform, for example shrink-wrap all of my furniture, he also whined about. Mr. Sweeney and I’d discussed, before my hiring him, the specifics of my transfer, such as that I needed all of my furniture firmly wrapped, to which he consented to. Therefore , he shows up in my home with hardly any shrink wrap, and once I restate my fantasies that I need all of my furniture wrapped, he throws a bit”match” (tantrum #1). I drove to U Haul and bought the wrapping (estimated price of $20).

I interviewed several businesses before hiring Mr. Sweeney. Yes, I was searching for the cheapest move. Originally , I hired Mr. Sweeney to both load and transfer my household products through the U-Haul truck. But a week ahead of my scheduled movement I advised Mr. Sweeney that I’d just desire him for loading. Mr. Sweeney didn’t voice any indifference for this shift within our work agreements. There wasn’t a written contract.

During the loading process, Mr. Sweeney’s helper spent almost 30 minutes trying to get rid of a wooden shirt out of a desk. The top was be glued on, following the helper having had eliminated nearly all of the screws from the bottom. After Mr. Sweeney and also the helper started lifting the table to load it, I requested Mr. Sweeney concerning the screws. He advised me to bag them. Mr. Sweeney has to have underestimated the time necessary to load my merchandise, overbooking his job program. He was crying that he had another job to go to. Refusing to unload and reload my products correctly, Mr. Sweeney walked off the project, not able to load the truck.

Not only did Mr. Sweeney walk off the project without finishing the task, but he drove my bed frames to the doorway, leaving boxes/furniture in my own garage and close to the road. In this tantrum (tantrum #3), he had been ranting, crying, cussing and cursing. My neighbors (both next door and across the road ) heard the crying and came over.

If the truck was pushed under these conditions (i.e, furniture and products loosely piled rather than procured ), my merchandise would have changed causing a great deal of damage for my merchandise. As it was, three pieces of furniture (2 antiques) which were filled with Mr. Sweeney were ruined. Please be aware , I had been left to employ a different team to unload the vehicle (that was 98% affluent ) and reload it. The new team reloaded the truck properly, fitting all of my products to a 26 foot truck with space to spare.

Since I never paid Mr. Sweeney, I don’t believe I could file a complaint because of my losses. Additional now living beyond the country of Arizona, I don’t see Mr. Sweeney compensating me for any reductions.

I would like to inform people searching for a mover to not utilize One World Moving. The proprietor isn’t reliable, has a horrible attitude, also lacks people’s abilities.
