    Long-distance move from Illinois
    Do not use this company!!!

By far was among the worst encounters:
Showed around our 3 bedroom,  2 bathroom, full basement house using a uhaul truck (they were also 2 hours late)! Seemingly the truck has been having difficulties. I voiced my strong concern which our possessions wouldn’t fit. The stock man assured me it would later he did a walk through of the house, and said he’d be asked to requote when he believed differently. He explained they’d have everything packaged up in 4 hours.
There were just two movers, among these in his 60s, and another was also the stock man. They had been spending so much time seeking to strategically fit everything from the uhaul that the time necessary To do anything was twice. They were assumed to be accountable for the breakdown of big things, but since it got later and later my husband and I needed to wind up doing it since we needed to get the home ready for our final walk during the morning after, all while attempting to amuse our 10mo old! After 8 hours, the inspector finally confessed everything wouldn’t fit and they’d need to return another day after unloading our stuff that night at the warehouse.
The following morning they had been a half an hour later than guaranteed. Time was critical as we had to prep for walkthrough. They’d just unloaded half of their possessions from the truck. Again, I stated that which is not likely to match and they better get a new truck. I had been confident it would match. They were too idle to unload the entire truck so again it was our difficulty. Following two hours that they said everything was not fitting and we can join our king size temurpedic mattress into the peak of the truck (at the dead of a Chicago winter/salt /snow, etc). I said no way and they better get a new truck. They eventually got acceptance from their manager to receive another uhaul. 24 hours following the beginning of the transfer our stuff was eventually out. That is not the ending of it…
Took 26 days to receive our stuff. When it came, it was filthy, smelled of smoke and some material was ruined. They attempted to charge extra for stuff we never accepted (packaging tape, wrapping, etc). The agent they employed, was futile throughout the procedure and never once provided an update regarding where our stuff was. It was late and they stated that they might take off $25 for every late afternoon…. Woah, big deal if you are living in an airmatress using a toddler!!! There are other small details that added into the nightmare encounter but I hope you have gotten the stage….do not use this organization.

    Long-distance move from Indiana
Completly scammed as well by this company! Out thousands of dollars

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! We had been quoted using a binding quote from Mover’s Country and as soon as the movers showed up the instantly started to alter the cost. We did a stock prior and even left a couple of things supporting and they still bothers us by more than $4000.00. Mike and Rob (the Agency ) were verbally abusive to people. We’ve had more than 5,000 in damages to furniture and our personal products. Rather than getting our shipping after it took them twice and well over a month overdue. We also obtained items/boxes that Weren’t even ours!   We’re currently in the process of suing them.

    Long-distance move from Indiana
    These guys are crooks

WARNING!!!! DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO THROW MONEY AWAY! We utilized on-time movers to transfer us out of Indiana to Texas. We have attached to them via a broker firm (House Team Movers) that was also a scam. The agent provider quotes you a price and after that when the movers show up they jack your cost up. The very first group attempted to take us out of an quoted $1900 to 3800 we advised them heck no and to depart. We proceeded to Texas with no stuff. After spending a few weeks on the telephone with customer support we got the cost down to $2500. We needed to fly back up to Indiana to match with the new pair of movers, so they all took FOREVER to load up everything. Then a few weeks after our stuff came to Texas. We paid a $295 commission to ensure that the price we have been quoted couldn’t be corrected. When they showed around Texas they had a brand new contract composed having an additional $500 in it stating that we needed to pay extra because our belongings weighed a lot and our storage device was too much off in your truck. They threatened to push off with all our belongings and bill us for transferring again if they needed to return if we did not cover all of them of the cash. We attempted to phone customer support and of course nobody was available. We ended up needing to provide them the cash. We’ll be calling the BBB about that for certain. Don’t Use Home Team Movers or About Time Movers. They’re a scam.
