Northwest Relocation has rather a favorable standing with my loved ones, this is my second time with them, and also my mother-in-law has also used them once. I am 110% happy with their solutions. The two times I’ve proceeded, the movers showed up on time, at a professional issue. They were specific regarding the processes and very careful in managing our things with care, particularly our family appliances, like our washer/dryer and fridge. Moving Is Extremely stressful, but this group made my family feel at ease during the Procedure.
I utilized NW Relocation to get a current transfer from Seattle to LA and everything went excellent. The loading team took care of my possessions and wrapped them up entirely. If they have to LA that there wasn’t a sratch on these. They also were very reasonably priced. I made like 5 unique quotations and NW Relocation was easily the cheapest. I’ll defintely be phoning NW Relocation another time that I move.
I recently transferred together with NW Relocation from Portland, OR to Chicago and was quite happy with my transfer. The movers were professional and great and the workplace private was considerate and knowable. The cost was a bit more than mentioned but that I took a couple more items that I didnt sell in home. Edgar and Thomas picked up me and were really fast and punctually. They wrapped my bed and boxspring with plastic wrap so that it wouldnt get filthy and they also packed my television because I didnt have the first box. The shipping to my construction was somewhat tricky because I reside in an unhappy downton and needed to have a more compact truck send. The initial quote I purchased from Ryan failed comprise a shuttle charge however was a bit more than anticipated since I required longer things than initially intended. I’d say all in all of the experience was fairly great. Far better than just driving a truck myself and based on a number of the other testimonials I have read online from various other businesses I believe I did fairly good choosing these men. Therefore I hope this helps others in their decision Procedure.
I hired NW Relocation to maneuver me out to Oregon a month and that I have only good things to say about these.
Peggy contacted me about my forthcoming move and of all the salespeople who achieved to me (there were plenty!) She was undoubtedly the most easy going and explained everything to me clearly and without making me feel like she had been ruching to acquire a sale. While they could not perform an in home estimate cause that they had been in OR she clarified that when I supplied her with a list of things she could assure a quote over 10%. Peggy allow me in on the secret that a lot of those Van Lines”pad” their quotes so that this was a type of”build your bundle move” which may actually save me a lot of cash. She on several occasions encouraged me to record everything; each box, each ironing board counts she explained. Her precise words were”nobody needs surprises on moving day.” I was unable to upgrade my list of things through their applications once I started packaging and discovered I had more than I’d believed.
Mark, the driver, was amazing. He was an old gentleman but you could tell was doing so for decades. Everything was wrapped like a snuggled infant; even my crappy ikea bookshelves that could hardly stand up. He explained that my transfer wouldn’t have any storage in transit so the couple weeks that they had informed me it could have become less than two.
On shipping they reassembled everything, not something was ruined and I do not think that it might have been awarded the wrap. Really an ideal operation.
I had been so pleased with my experience which I delivered in gift cards to Peggy and Mark for their extra efforts in making my transfer that much simpler.
5 stars such as NW Relocation.
I had been driving home from work one day and came across these men. They had been moving my neighbor down the road. He explained he had a fantastic experience, so I called them and got a quotation. I used them to move me to New York in the start of this season and they did a excellent job. They packaged my TV, wrapped my furniture in blankets, and so were really quickly. Shipping was somewhat annoying as it’s a 21 day pub, however, they allow me to know when my things were just two weeks off so I had been ready for them. I paid $1400 to maneuver a 1 bedroom flat which has been 1900 pounds, and $250 for a shuttle once I arrive. Total was &1650, nevertheless lower than many bids. Nice people and fantastic support!
I had been unable to locate a good moving company in the region that fulfilled our pricing requirements. Fortunately I discovered Northwest Relocation. Their staff was quite friendly and helpful. They patiently worked with me to organize a third party movement. Everything worked out great. Our customer has been extremely happy with the standard of support. I often encounter communication issues with companies I contract from condition. Understandable since firms wind up needing to communicate with a couple of different people rather than only one. However, Northwest Relocation treated it like an expert. They kept in continuous contact ensuring that I know things every step along the way. My company plans to utilize Northwest Relocation for almost any requirements we’ve from the Portland area later on.
I had a problem; my sister used these men and had a terrific experience, but matters online appeared to indicate that they are terrible. Because I trust and know my sister and haven’t met any of those peoplle on the internet, I figured I’d head out on a limb and try out Northwest Relocation. Overall it was a really smoothe procedure. Obviously I was quite comprehensive together and that I bothered them a great deal, but in the long run I had been impressed with how everything was handled. The team worked effectively and politely as well as the client support assisted me with any queries I had. Everything just took just under 2 weeks to the cross country move.
I recently moved into Portland and utilized Northwest Relocation. I had been quoted 1500 to your transfer and that’s what the last cost was. I was glad that I did not get charged any additional fees like some businesses have done to me before. They stated they’d be in my house to pick up at 9am and they had been. The movers did all of the lifting and were courteous and professional. They informed me it’d be two times til delivery and that they would be in my new location at 11am. They came when they said they’d, and unloaded everything themselves. I’m quite pleased I utilized Northwest Relocationand they did a wonderful job.
I am so happy that I booked using NW Relocation, I had been on the verge of moving with another firm until I learned from a few of my buddies that NW had transferred them to get a Excellent price and what went as planned. So I did this , and they did a Amazing job. The movers were very friendly and occasionally. Not one of my things were lost or broken on the other end. The cost did not change and that I was relieved that I did not have to Manage a cluttered stressful movement such as I have previously. I recommend them 100%.
Well, I do not generally write reviews unless I feel quite strongly about something, and usually they are negative, but This Will be a favorable review. NW Relocation transferred me out of my 3 Bdr House in Denver CO, to my 1Br apartment at Scranton Pennslyvania. There was clearly Lots of consolidating that had to be performed in order for all to match. The customer service folks were good at helping me determine how to combine and the movers were good in helping me pack everything I Had consolodated. I believe that generally, people would get frustrated with a situation such as mine, but everybody was very nice and comprehension. I am so greatful that I found this business because I feel as this procedure would have been dreadful if I’d went with all the moving company I used previously. Thank God for all these folks!
I hired Northwest Relocation to maneuver my sister right after Thanksgiving. I wasn’t present during the movement, but my sister was really happy and that which was transferred without incident. My mom was especially impressed with the politeness and professionalism of these movers. I’ll use them again when the need arises and could suggest them!
I chose NW Relocation after reading testimonials and phoning a few businesses. They had been the most responsive concerning returning my phone calls immediately and answering my queries. I was only a bit frustrated that when I first called, the transfer date I inquired about was liberated, but once I called to validate it a day after, it was reserved. Fortunately, I managed to program for the subsequent day. Three movers came punctually. All three were courteous and friendly. I am able to say that I felt confident throughout that the movers were taking excellent care of our items, and so were really reliable. Most of all, our possessions arrived with hardly any harm, if any, and also the move was completed within a week. All whatsoever, I would strongly suggest NW Relocation for an extremely efficient, professional and lo-stress shifting experience!
Moved from CO into FL, which we’d done the contrary excursion of 4 decades before and obtained a comparatively low estimate on the telephone depending on the amount of things we needed to proceed. We were not carrying any bedroom furniture, no dining room place, mainly boxes of clothes and books and a few little furniture. On the day that the movers came, the cost increased radically. Went out of a $1200 transfer to some 1900 move. FML. We asked with the movers once we could anticipate our possessions to arrive and he explained, fourteen days. This sounded like a decent quantity of time provided that we ourselves planned on driving to FL. That is where I’ll inform you the single most significant thing that you want to understand, READ THE FINE PRINT. In our haste we all neglected to see the specifics of our shifting arrangement. We should have known better if the cost rose, but we forged ahead because we had been trapped between a rock and a hard location. The genuine agreement says, that NO VERBAL AGREEMENTS are VALID. Yes that is right, regardless of what the gent stated on the telephone around $1200 and the movers saying 2 weeks delivery period weren’t legitimate. By registering we also agreed that they’d 21 BUSINESS DAYS in the very first date we stated we had been available to take our possessions. What is that you say, how can it take this long for freight to ensure it is 2000-ish miles when Google claims that it must take approximately 30 hours when pushed straight though? Oh well, also forgot to say that the”movers’ were actually only fetchers. They took our things into a warehouse at Denver and abandoned it there. Considering that I proceeded directly before Thanksgiving, they legitimately did not need to have to get it to me until Xmas. They’ve a customer support representative called Julie who while fine is so quite egregious stating, Mami, another sentence. I read the horrible reviews of these after I left the first, [EDIT] is up along with my things after two months and decided to simply not dread and to trust that Julie was telling me that the facts about if our stuff will arrive and that no one would throw or throw our stuff. Oddly, strangely Julie called us about the afternoon she said she’d with all the drivers name and telephone number. Spoke with all the driver and he had been pleasant and informative. Our possessions came later than I’d have chosen because of a random F-DOT stop right before arrival. Fortunately, everything arrived undamaged. For all the awfulness I’ve read mine sounds as the best potential of a dreadful firm
We contracted Northwest Relocation to our movement in Denver, Colorado to Raleigh, NC. We obtained our first quote from the business on 7/1/13 using a pickup afternoon of 7/9/13. We then had an extra load that was picked up on 7/22/13, three times ago the guaranteed pickup period, forcing us to postpone our movement and stay in Denver while we waited. My telephone calls were not returned and that I had been made to create many calls every day to obtain the smallest bit of assistance. My queries were repeatedly dismissed by each service representative I talked to, those honestly could care less about some of my concerns. While those encounters were disagreeable and bothersome, so they had been just the tip of this iceberg. The move in date was set in 8/1/13 since my first arrangement with the business on 7/3/13. This date has been confirmed at each juncture of the procedure with no reference of this delivery being postponed or altered at all. I never got any follow up calls, mails or alarms of any sort, causing me to think that what was still on schedule. On 7/30/13, I phoned again to check the delivery of the things. Now, after a little arm twisting they surrendered to us who our matters might not be there till 14 days following the specified delivery day. Though this was buried in the fine print of the quotations, it hadn’t been mentioned one time whatsoever from the abundance of agents I’d spoken to inside the corporation. Our date of 8/1/13 has been verified for me personally that a minimum of 10 days with no single individual citing the”delivery window” till after they’d obtained all of our items, billed us and essentially taken us hostage. We’re presently in a vacant house with not one of our items for as much as 2 weeks. At this stage Northwest Relocation has generated a pattern of poor service and basic disregard for clients whom I find totally unacceptable. Between service representatives hanging us up, managers”gone for dental care appointments” and agents blaming us to the circumstance,I’m disgusted with how we’ve been treated.I entirely comprehend the verbiage about the shipping period is at the contract, but not to point out that or maybe mention it before two weeks before delivery is horribly negligent. In addition to this, to choose a disrespectful and virtually scolding tone using a client who only wishes to have the ability to begin their lifetime later committing you countless dollars is just erroneous. We continue to predict and basically beg for anyone to speak to and assist us without any results. Our things eventually came on 8/17. The drivers were fine enough and what was there and in adequate condition, but we’re so angry with the business at this stage it could not be retrieved. They did not react to our BBB criticism, actually they phoned us and essentially threatened us for creating it. The client support supervisor told us we had been liars multiple occasions and we had been not able to acquire a official price quote before two days earlier. All in all, the absence of professionalism and standard rudeness of the company was dreadful. They were rather glossy in curing people well until we paid them and had our items, at which time a complete 180 happened. Are they simple, demonstrated they cared or empathized at I might not believe like this, but this was far in the case.Do not utilize that firm.
The movers were adequate men but the provider is FUBAR. Fantastic luck getting your material in the conclusion of the move. The reason that they proceed through a broker is because if you knew the title of this moving business until they showed up, you would look them up, visit an array of reviews in this way, and you would never employ them. Worst moving experience ever.
Don’t use this business or you’ll be sorry!!! I’ve not had a better experience in my own life. The quotation over doubled, rather than 2400 it had been 5000!! They didnt even get everything about the vehicle, I needed to find a storage device for two months and had to cover them again to have the remainder. Each of the boxes seemed like proceeded through a hurricane. They broke around 20 items, such as my grandmothers china. I won’t ever get over that!! Also had lost items. They billed about 1000 only for additional packaging that I was not informed about. I had been stuck together since I just had two days to proceed, I didn’t understand just what to do. So I registered my claim. It took 3 weeks for them to inform me I receive nothing since I accepted that I recieved evrything in good shape. How can I know that which was in great shape until I unpacked!! Whitch they request first documents so that you cannot seem yo see exactly what you signed!! This business is a joke and a scam. They don’t need to be in company!!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE….for the sake of your own bank accounts don’t expect that the great reviews on this, these were the rare Conditions. All of the negative reviews are definitely the standard for NW Relocations. I can spare you all that the reading rather than type my whole encounter on this but lets just say that the initial quote to transfer from Portland to Phoenix has been 1200 well below another offer from different businesses that’s exactly why we travelled with NW. . .big error, by the conclusion of the move the price over doubled to $2300. Don’t trust the company, They Don’t care about their clients. The sales woman Peggy is very pleasant and helpful but She’ll offer you on a fantasy which the rest of the Corporation will far out of deliver. TIm among those owners (so he claims) Doesn’t care about doing right for his clients and he understands that once he has what you have he will call the shots and you Don’t Have Any option but to proceed with it for those who want of getting back your stuff. I’m sure this corporation may be okay for local purposes but there isn’t any way I’d ever trust them with even my enemies things.
This business is horrible. They gave me a quotation and then if the movers got that they attempted to bill more and after I stopped since they attempted to gouge us they would not and still won’t go back the our 20 percent down payment. They also will not return telephone calls along with their managers are seemingly never there. As soon as I stated that the only alternative left to me was to leave an overview telling everybody just how dreadful they were,” Neil a representative about their customer support line stated that he did not care. I believe this needs to be the business motto that they do not care! Personally, I feel that the $330 I am out is well worth it after reading all these reviews they likely would have broken and lost all of our things.
From our pickup in Park City: -The driver of this truck couldn’t pull into our complicated, this isn’t our fault and somehow I got billed for space even though I’ve observed innumerable other full length semi trailers interior of our complicated. -My wife requested the motorist to shrink wrap the mattress to protect it, and has been mistreated by him since he said nobody asked it and he did not have any. This despite the fact that the Order for Services clearly stated that tape and shrink wrap could be provided at No Cost. -The helpless men and women who showed up repeatedly placed our TV (within a box) upside down, even if taught multiple occasions how to put it and never to put down it. -They also complained multiple times about the fact that there was no lift, Though I advised you, your dispatcher, along with the driver repeatedly there was just stairs we had 3 flights which needed to be navigated In the transit: -I phoned Saturday 6/28 to Request standing -“shipment” did not have some idea who had been driving or at which our items were. Said he’d get advice and text it to me. Never heard back. -I phoned Monday 6/30 to inquire -“dispatch” was screaming in somebody else in a foreign language, was rude and said he’d text me motorist’s amount – that he eventually did after 5 hours. -At the meantime, I predicted main lineup for NW Relocation 6 days, eventually got a girl who stated that I never filled out or signed documentation following pickup in PC (never even saw or noticed this) and my matters Wouldn’t be delivered before that was solved. -She moved me to a person who was likely to send these forms to me for registering. Left a message. -FINALLY got a text for a supposed motorist, within two weeks of coming in CA. No hint on when I’ll find a date or time. -Paperwork was a whole debacle – my spouse Wasn’t given any paperwork from the driver upon arrival for pickup, and then threatened that our things Wouldn’t be delivered unless our paperwork was on record. I had to call 3 individuals at NW Relocation for estimates FROM them, and also then the mathematics was incorrect and there were things in the paperwork which were not said or maybe not precise according to this Order for Service contract which was e-signed. Upon shipping, no real surprise. . .the mattress was soaked and also had a water stain on it. 8-10 additional eyeglasses, lamps, glasses were also broken.
Do not ever use this organization. Unless of course you want to get billed way over they estimate and also like the shock of finding out times when they pick up your own stuff. If you’re fortunate, you’ll receive your possessions within 8 months of if they pick this up. Oh, and do not expect anybody from NW Relocation to ever communicate with you personally. Bottom line: the corporation’s activities are dishonest and straight upward criminal.
This is the absoolute worst transfer I have ever seen, and I have transferred at least 15 occasions. I believed I was being transferred from TransUnited, who had great reviews, however they brokered my workout to those men. To begin, they did not appear till two weeks when they were supposed to, causing me to begin my cross-country excursion late and shed resort escapes. They kept my things for 65 days, 1 week more than my move-in date, although I had been given 45 days free storage from TransUnited they refused to honor over 30 times and charged me for an excess couple of storage. Since they kept my things an excess week I needed to sleep on a beach chair (and blessed me, must pay for the privilege!) There were many things broken, which I anticipated, but in addition they lost 2 boxes, one of which pulled lots of irreplaceable products. They weren’t worth much monetarily, but had great sentimental value and I am heartbroken over their reduction. After three weeks the firm has made no effort to track down and reunite those boxes and awarded this encounter I doubt they ever will. I cannot recommend this corporation.
Would never suggest this mover. Unlike so a Number of the testimonials, ours was an instate movement from Salem OR into Oregon City OR. My husband explained quite early in the purchase price negotiation process which people were searching for a inspector who could package AND move us to get medical reasons on July 30th, and he explained this throughout the 2 weeks when he occasionally talked with Ryan Alexander. We had been invited the way in the start Ryan did a fantastic job of keeping us in the loop – nevertheless this shifted the nearer to our move date we became, before the past couple of months when we noticed nothing. On the afternoon prior to the transfer (July 29th), we called to confirm the facts when they had not called as they stated they would, and if Sam that the dispatcher called back he inquired about delaying the movement to 2 weeks afterwards (July 31st). We said to Sam that it was a complete pack and move, which he did not know about. We also clarified that our utilities were scheduled to be turned off in the old home so delaying the transfer wasn’t an alternative. He clarified that the complete package and transfer would be more expensive than the 1100 estimate. He wished to call back the exact same day after he had worked us to the program. He called back later that day to inform us that people had been scheduled between 1:30-3:30pm the following day. We revealed that it was a complete pack and move and that he said that he understood. We also told me that we’d packed around half of the contents ourselves.
The following day, we received a call from Sam beyond the scheduled period, stating that they would be late and are there between 3:30 and 4pm. In 4pm Sam called and stated that they were eventually done with the prior job and could arrive at 5pm. After the team came closer to 5:30, Jesse the manager on the project was amazed to learn that it was a complete pack and move. He also contacted the home office also gave us a quote of $1500 to $2000 and stated they’d demand payment in money. My husband quickly drove into the bank to get the money before they shut. Since the employees began packaging, Jesse clarified that we were fortunate because a complete pack and move could cost upwards of $4000 but that he had been ignoring a number of things — especially the boxes utilized. During the packaging process, it had been clarified that they wouldn’t package ANYTHING liquid (vegetable oil, shampoo, laundry detergent, etc.) nor anything combustible (not just gas for our lawn mower, however even light bulbs). These items hadn’t been clarified to us whatsoever.
They originally said that all could fit in the vehicle. We attempted consuming all of the gas at the lawnmower by mowing both the back and front lawns while they worked to the day and we recorded the lawnmower manage open to burn up the remainder of the gas. After about half an hour of it operating, Jesse advised us to switch off the lawnmower — we presumed because sufficient of it had been consumed. But we afterward discovered that it was because they knew they were not going to get sufficient space for all, including the mower. We discovered that there were things from another movement on the truck once they came, which left less space available for our possessions. After shooting all day packaging our things we eventually arrived at Oregon City in 1am, waking our new neighbors whenever they immediately moved things into the house. They’d explained that they’d just be putting up our bed, but as tired as we were, we didn’t balk. The following day, we invested another $83 to lease an U-Haul truck to go pick up the things we can lift ourselves in the truck, leaving three whiskey barrels of strawberry plants we would aspire to expand at our new residence.
What began as a $1100 project ended up costing over $1600 with all the extra money we gave into the U-Haul business. We don’t confuse the Jesse and the employees for the vast majority of exactly what went wrong during our movement. We hold the direction — namely Ryan Alexander and Sam accountable for not communicating lots of the details — most significantly the facts about ours being a PACK and MOVE undertaking. We had expected a number of the problems mentioned in several sites we wouldn’t encounter because it had been an intra-state movement — but this wasn’t the situation.
These men say from the earnings process every becomes accurate except that the standing of moving businesses is dreadful. Guess what? These men are most likely the worst ones on the market. Where do I begin? They claim to utilize Northwest based motorists, however, our driver was out of New York and does not even do the job for them. They nickle and dime you for all. They even had the guts to charge for additional stairs. They do not do some study on the website, and that they leave that entirely up to you. Lies, lies, lies. Don’t conduct business together.
GTS Shipping Window Inc are ghetto crooks. They won’t manage your own personal items with care. My household things were hurt. What really hurt was that my sentimental items were hurt to an extent of unrepairable. I discovered that there rats in there storage. A number of my boxes eventually become chew through by rats. Additionally, the blanket that they utilize or there storage space may carry some invasive pest infestation. I captured a couple of cockroaches that came from the boxes that were damaged. I’m planning to replace my mattress mattress. I’m afraid that may also carry bed bugs. 1 final thing, they’ll slip your belonging. My wine collection was stolen. I am so mad I can not even put in to words. I’d amass these wines on my journeys over almost a decade.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER WASTE OF MONEY, WASTE OF TIME TERRIBLE SERVICE DO NOT HIRE THEM- THEY WILL DAMAGE YOUR BELONGINGS AND Won’t BE AVAILABLE TO YOU AT ALL DURING YOUR MOVE Despite a late night delivery, I had been told that there was no way my possessions could be delivered in a time I had been available. Rather, I was advised that I would be billed an extra $550 for each day my possessions had to be put in storage until the following shipping truck led my way– date unknown. May be a day, may be a month. NO costumer services. They Don’t answer your requirements, return your emails or messages. YOU ARE BETTER OFF WITH ANOTHER COMPANY.
We reserved a moving truck through the funding. I had been quoted a few hundred less than that which I have billed. I even sold a number of my things prior to the movers got there so there was considerably less than that which I’d gotten the quotation on.
The Whole booking via funding was a wreck! I then was advised that fresh move was my delegated mover and also to get them to get any occasion communications. I had been guaranteed a setup for pickup but then was informed that I needed to pay an extra 200$ for this day. We had also made arrangements to get the Whole invoice prepaid by credit card. Movers get into my House and attempt to require money or money order. Argued me and that I could hardly comprehend the men because their English was really bad.
I had been advised to Select a first available delivery date only to Learn They Won’t even load your belongings to depart till this season. Made no sense to me! This company Isn’t available on weekends and There’s Absolutely No one to Assist You. I called several times and could just buy voice mails and nobody returned calls. There were instances once I got through that they would place me on hold simply to detach me.
We eventually got through to cover the invoice in total to Learn they’d all Incorrect numbers and also a incorrect delivery address. Corrected information many times with business simply to be told that they still had the incorrect info.
The motorist known as my emergency backup amount rather than my mobile. Yelled in my mother that I needed to cover the invoice money. My spouse called the motorist back and clarified that it had been paid in full along with the motorist with very poor English shouted at my husband to get at least 10 minutes that we needed to give him money. The motorist was loath to get into the office for updated information.
Ultimately, delivery was created and also my boxes were all smashed up. ( those were fresh haul boxes) a single box had been so smashed it had any liquid around it. All boxes but piled in my garage and without a maintenance or arrangement of that which was inside.
Computer screen packed with original box has been damaged.
If You Don’t think me email me and I’ll send you copies of my own pics, the two of my things on the truck around the area and also in my own garage. Additionally, many boxes were put upside down along with boxes torn upward. I’d have posted but they’re on my mobile phone.
No way to cure a person’s possessions! Notably for 2400$ worst going experience of my entire life! The next time I will rent a drag and take action myself.
Criminals. They just take your money, and then seriously damage the products which aren’t lost on the way. I have images of the shoddy work in addition to the state of my items before they have been transferred. The business is going to lie each step along the way and blame it to the agent. This really is actually the most powerful support from any company I’ve ever used and also their customer support is non existent. The business certainly doesn’t care for anything but the commission. As soon as they get that they really do whatever boring job they need. Where do all of our lost items go? I’ve read other reviews where matters have just vanished. Where are they all? Why can not you monitor them just like I asked? Why is it that you discount the simple fact that your organization is dreadful and continue to predominate people and their items for many years? Do your work as I didn’t make the money I gave one. No exaggerations here. The facts is I stand by every term.
Damaged items, filthy items, missing things. YES on these three. We contracted with Coast to Coast proceeding in Florida. They shipped us to NW Relocation from Portland to transfer us from Portland into Sun City West, AZ.. Long story short, they’ve been impolite, but didn’t deliver a fantastic part of our furniture and 25 boxes that they”missing”, or”lost”. How can a moving firm misplace or lose a client’s items? Upon delivery we requested both the driver and helpers to haul our couches to the home. We had been told beforehand that they would. The motorist said no because we packaged them in boxes ourselves. I told me my husband was a heart problems and can not lift much and now being 70 years old myself and lately using foot surgery I couldn’t lift them. The motorist said”that is not my problem”. The things which were delivered had lots of smashed boxes and furniture ruined. The afternoon of our shipping I contacted the owner of Coast to Coast and he appeared anxious and caring and assured me we’d be paid and that Coast to Coast constantly backs the consumer. What a joke! I sent the email to him and among the proprietors of NW Relocations without any reply in relation to reimbursement. Following a month of searching for our lost furniture stating they couldn’t discover it, we began the claim procedure in addition to going out and buying a new bedroom collection (yes, they even dropped our bedroom place ), and recliners to substitute lost one’s. 4 days after beginning the claim procedure NW Relocation known and informed us they discovered our possessions. WHAT?!!? A month later picking up them in the first location. We’re now out that the money we spent on furniture along with other lost things we bought to install our residence. You’d think that because we went through so much psychological and psychological anguish over this entire thing along with the absence of communication against the firm didn’t aid, which NW Relocation would fetch us all our possessions whenever possible. Additionally, use us to compensate our own movement. We were informed we’ll be treated just like any other shipping plus also they have 14 days to provide the missing half of our items. Are you kidding me?!? They’re already in violation of contract but they still truly don’t care. This provider isn’t worth the distress that you may endure should you utilize them. Coast to Coast advised us NW Relocation is still a fantastic companion and we can trust them to do a fantastic job for us. Another questionable statement. They’re definitely the worst company we’ve ever had the displeasure of conducting business with. Additionally they charged us $612.00 longer if they arrived to load our things out of our storage components. We believed we had no other choice except to go along with this. Lesson learned. . .rent a truck and transfer ahead! Do not trust this business!!!
When they came, the driver introduced me with all the paperwork to signal before unloading the vehicle. He had been hours late and that I was exhausted, so I signed it. First error. Pretty much everything that can be broken was busted. They dismantled a reclining seat which was not supposed to be removed; a great deal of this hardware was lost and the motorist had no clue the way to even start putting it together. The assembly bolts to your mattress have been stripped and, yet more, the driver had no clue the way to even start assembling it. My desk has been smashed to splinters as it came from the truck. You will find broken bits and pieces of my vacuum cleaner sprinkled in the road. It needed to be lost. Two little tables are now missing. The majority of the boxes have been thrown upside down so that I could not read the labels. Heavy boxes were piled on top of frames that were lighter therefore that the lighter boxes were smashed. I’d have done much better to get a bonfire until I transferred and employ two drunks using a pickup truck to maneuver the unbreakables.
I’d NW Relocation pickup my things for a cross country move center of August. It’s currently the 7th of Oct. along with also my stuff still has not been delivered. They do not know where it is or if it’s coming. DON’T USE THIS COMPANY!!! They’ve no idea who’s my things or where it’s. They subcontracted my move out and can not actually get an anwser themselves.
Northwest Relocation (setup during Vanguard Relocation Services) picked up my home products from WA to be sent to TN. My home goods were delivered with no two (two ) boxes. This day I advised the moving truck driver, even using text message on his mobile phone, which two (two ) of my boxes had been lost. I expected that when they were still on the truck he’d place them apart. Among these boxes contained jewelry along with another name brand clothes. Additionally, I advised my contact at Vanguard, that I put up my transfer through, of those missing boxes. I had been told they’d attempt to find the boxes and also to submit a claim. A couple of days after, I was advised one (1) of my own boxes had been discovered. Upon delivery of what they believed was just one of my boxes I now found that it wasn’t among my lost boxes however, rather a ship of dirty towels! On many occasions I informed that the moving business representative which the box wasn’t mine and asked how he’d like me to come back the box. So far, the moving business hasn’t responded. On many occasions and also to no avail I’ve attempted to put them about the status of finding my boxes and arriving the box that doesn’t belong to me personally. The transferring company’s shortage of effort/communication concerning the yield of this box which isn’t mine, affirms their whole unprofessionalism from the endeavor to find my two lost boxes and standard business practices. The agents no more respond to my mails regarding what measures They’ve taken or are choosing to Find my 2 boxes. As mentioned before the 2 boxes which weren’t delivered included jewelry and costly clothing. Vanguard claims on their site that they are devoted to high level client satisfaction. They clearly haven’t attempted to fulfill a minimal standard of consumer satisfaction.
I repeatedly had trouble reaching anyone in the warehouse to ascertain if my furniture will be delivered. It had been coming from Oregon in which it had been saved to Florida. They delivered on the 21st day, the final day of the 5-21 business day window. Though our furniture has been wrapped with blankets before going to storage, ” There was harm to 3 of our furniture pieces, and somehow shattered our Shark vaccum. To top it off they didn’t hook our flexible bed properly and left with our dolly that we’ve yet to be returned after 3 asks to reunite it. We’d NEVER use this company again. Save yourself frustration and don’t utilize them. We contracted with International Moving Vanlines who had a 5 star rating. What we were not educated and heard the hard way, our furniture has been really being managed with GTS Shipping. International Moving had little to nothing using all the true move aside from quoting us a cost. I wouldn’t use Interntional again either. I moved across country twice, once with Mayflower and after with United Van Lines. I never had any issues with them or harm to my furniture. After reading the other testimonials I save myself further frustion and didn’t submit a claim.
I had been waiting to find out when I obtained a tool box which was missing in my movement (they told me that they discovered it) prior to writing my final review. It never came. My final minute move started with a quotation from Budget. This is the very first Issue. They’re middle men who estimate low to find the purchase, and the bad thing if NW Relocation shows up and it is TRIPLE the cost. He spent too much time hammering Budget rather than working together with his guys this I felt placed them behind schedule. Among those employees did not speak or understand English quite well, he had to be supervised but he was not and that triggered most of my issues together. He packed my shifting folder with all of my necessary documents, passport and cash that was close my pc on the counter. Mind you his occupation was to package the kitchen things, pots, pans, etc.. When it was found that the folder has been lost, Dan (the foreman) instantly blamed me. Saying”that I had been confused and quite often clients say things like this and it was not true”. Practically yelling. He had been fairly cold and unhelpful before he suddenly remembered seeing the leather folder himself. Then he softened his tone with me. But while unpacking the boxes, they did not repack attentively, my clothes got dirty and things were broken. In addition, he packed two bags of garbage that has been smelly when I opened my own boxes. Stupid and unprofessional. When my things came, the delivery guy kept my items hostage till I paid him in money first. He refused to carry my things off the truck. So he paid him. Afterward we were able to rely on the boxes to ensure nothing was lost, he refused to do this. Then he proceeded to hit on me requesting to come back and make dinner for me and allow me to unpack. I was disgusted. Then around 10:30pm he called saying that he discovered a rug in his truck which belonged to me personally. He said he could not bring it back since he had been gaming and he could not leave his’great winning hands’. I needed to get up and get dressed at the middle of the night to go get my carpet. Additionally, most of my meals were broken, my lamps were ruined as well as my bookcase was ruined since it wasn’t placed in a box as promised. Then eventually , I called the office inquiring about my own toolbox. Neil said he discovered it and was linking to reach me. Mind you he had been calling the wrong amount. He explained They would place it on another truck down here. When I never received it, I called and I was advised that they shipped it UPS. I requested for the weigh invoice number to follow it. I had been told that they dropped it. I then said I could still find it using all the credit card number that has been used. Then he explained , that he paid money so there is no record. You inform me, what company does this? You be the judge as to what occurred for my tool box?? It. Overall, 99 percent of my experience was negative.
Absolute worst movement! . I moved from Seattle to San Antonio. I had been told 3-4 times to receive my items. Drove as quickly as I could to beat them to SA. They had not even loaded the material. When it eventually arrived 12 days after. Matters were broken, ruined or mashed. Brand-new boxes were smashed or torn. The pet food company had only 3 wheels. Cups, glasses broken. Vinyl bags that have proceeded three time needed the ribbons broken. I’ve utilized Mayflower and United equally and NOTHING was actually broken.
They flat out without a regard for my possessions. The adage” You get what you pay for”holds true with this particular business. As stated by the BBB that they aren’t licensed through them but they have it to the internet site that they are. The supervisor Gil whined about shipping date. I needed to have someone drive two hours to be here since I needed to do the job. I must just have compensated for what was not crushed or broken. CASH ONLY, BEWARE.
Worst moving business ever. I’ve used many businesses and this is undoubtedly the worst. They charged me 300 bucks more than quoted. My things took considerably longer than they said it’d to get here. Everytime I predicted they didnt appear to understand where my stuff was or anything. FINALLY when my things did arrive at Arizona. My bed was moist, yellowed and smelled of mould, my clothing were re box and a few of that destroyed , my bicycle was lost, a number of my boxes busted, such as very old bowls and items that may not ever be replaced. The proprietor is draining lacking in customer support as is the entire firm. I wouldn’t recommend them for anybody….in reality I hope this saves somebody what I needed to undergo. It’s so miserable and trying and they didnt care that they did all of this.
We had been turned over for this business by Delta Van Lines to get a transfer from Portland to Minneapolis. They arrived late and ended in the dark. When things arrived in Minneapolis we discovered we were overlooking a rug. After many calls and guarantees by them of requesting all involved when they’d seen it, it was discovered to be lost and as they’re only accountable for .60 percent accountability on lost items , they truly don’t care. A person in this group today has a great rug. They’ve changed the title of the provider today to”The Moving Company” out of Northwest Relocation, presumably due to poor reviews. The same owner, Gil Dorfman,Their contact number and ICC-MC # will be the same. Only a method of attempting to obfuscate which appears like their M.O.
Don’t use them!
Awful experience. Driver revealed 5 hours late, then took a peek in our boxes and determined he could not match them at the van, explaining that he was tired and his preceding pickup had over was anticipated. This small Napoleonic dwarf-man went to call me”honey” because he walked out the doorway along with high-fived his moving van bros, presumably as they could escape from performing their job. I instantly called NW Relocation, who stated they would be delighted to reschedule for the next week. Right. I said no thanks, that I’d like to not do business together then trailer of the special-sauce customer services. They then retained my 240 deposit – all without supplying the support they promised. Fantastic job NW Relocation, you’ve perfected the craft of becoming a dreadful and dishonest organization. Do not. Do. It.
I’ve discovered that Agents are scammers. You don’t need them whatsoever. They utilized NW Relocation who utilize GTS Shipping. They keep charging more each time they speak to you. They arrived and appeared to be mindful about moving and covering things to the vehicle. They didn’t send before the 21st day. The agent said they’d have the ability to send the very first week of July but then I discovered that your initial option to deliver would be that the day that they begin counting plus they have around 21 days. We had been without furniture for 3 months. It was dreadful. When I got the things, my java tables, a desk, and a chair, bedroom furniture, book shelf and record cabinets had cracks, scratches, completely apart, scraped, etc.. They need to have pushed them from the storage region and the vehicle. I registered the complaint as guided but I don’t have a lot of confidence in becoming reimburse. Other companies I have utilized never did so and when any slice was poor they reimbursed us entirely. I can not know how these people today stay in operation.
Not sure of closing cost, as now possessions are being held hostage. Customer support was nil. In general experience was terrible. Business has been demonstrated to be unethical, and unresponsive. Don’t understand when/if we’ll get our possessions back, or in what state. Recommendation: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
Watch this website for a set o awful testimonials of Northwest Relocation. Additionally, there are some decent reviews on the market, however, the preponderance of proof can be found in the negatve now.

This is my experience so way:
Starting on June 8th, the business picked up my belingings and guaranteed 5-7 day shipping. They billed me far beyond the agreed on quote, asserting that the piano was a grand piano instead of an erect (it’s not) and charging me extra to pay using a debit card (though I hadn’t been advised of the fee beforehand ). I guessed things such as this would occur, as movers have a reputation for such suspicious practices, and went forward and wrapped with it. This was the very best there agency ever got.
I didn’t hear anything from them for more than times.
I predicted, was advised that they had been only calculating my paperwork, wasn’t awarded an estimated delivery date, also had been advised that when they sent following the seven agreed upon times they’d cover me back 20.00 for every afternoon. However, I had been reassured, that hardly ever occurs.
After that I made messages almost each day, they were not returned, by email or by telephone.
When really answering the telephone, they always promised unspecified ASAP delivery, however if requested for precise details, they’d say they’d call and check back. Nobody ever predicted. I predicted almost daily for the last two weeks, leaving several telephone and voice messages over multiple lines and also to numerous addresses.
As soon as I called about the 25th, more than two weeks after first pickup date,” they said that my stuff was being loaded onto a truck since we talked (previously more than a week later than guaranteed for shipping ). Notice , they didn’t phone me. I phoned them. They handed me a telephone number allegedly for the motorist, and advised me to phone him myself for a estimated delivery date. The amount wasn’t accurate.
If my nephew known for me to inform them that the individual in the motorist’s number didn’t have my things, they contended with him and told me I had the perfect number.
I phoned back and examine the amount to them and told them again it was wrong, they stated they’d call and check back. They didn’t call back.
We looked upon the President of this firm online (because asks for managers at the workplace moved nowhere) and telephoned him using a comprehensive criticism. . .twice. He called back and left a message with all the motorist’s new amount, without identifying himself or apologizing for whatever.
Texts and calls for motorist obtained a estimated delivery of 3-5 times (it’s a 12 hour dirve).
We predicted Pres. Gil Dorfman again another day detailing the simple fact I had filed a BBB complaint and had been submitting a criticism, and he called again promptly, made explanations, didn’t acknowledge any wrong doing or errors in customer support or some other place, and guaranteed to call the motorist recalculate my charges and phone me back.
He’d phone back (first time in 3 months!!) And promised that the substance could be delivered in 1 or 2 days. In addition, he said he’d call another day with an upgrade and my brand new sum due.
He didn’t predict.
He gave no more new invoice.
I called motorist, was advised that the stuff ought to be here another day ( today, 3 months after it ought to have been at a truck in the road here).
I phoned Pres. Dorfamn again, two, stating he hadn’t ever given me the brand new cost, and therefore I’d compute it myself based about the one thing I’d been informed, and that’s that they would dismiss the movement from $20 for each BUSINESS day more than seven days which the shipping was overdue. Since they run business on Saturdays, I relied 11 business days, to get a 220 discount from the over 2500 full invoice.
Pres. Dorfman phoned back and contended over both contained Saturdays, I advised him his client service was ridiculous and when he actually though that the annoyance was accounted for by 180, I’d do this. We”consented” on the last cost, and I obtained the cashiers check necessary to cover in that sum, because only money or cashier’s checks are accepted to receive the last payment on delivery.
While on the telephone using P. Dorfman, I received a call in the driver stating that he had been busted down and might not make it now, he’d tell me. Dorfman stated he’d check it out and return to me.
4 hours afterwards neither guy had predicted.
I named the driver, and has been told there’s an unspecified issue and he wouldn’t make it now. When I asked for particulars I have none. I also called and left the message to Dorfman.
He hasn’t called back.
That’s the up to now criticism. Three months following a 12 hour movement was supposed to start.
I had been going out of Colorado to Texas, informed it’d take 4-5 times…6 months after recieved my things. Not only was I forced to sleep with the airmatress to get a month and a half an hour , when we got our stuff that they were missing things, things were broken. Instead, they just didn’t care. Terrible customer service Once I called in, the man only got defensive expression that”that he was only doing his job”. REALLY?!?! In the Event That You have been DOING YOUR JOB, you’d have likely found my lost guitar. Which, incidentally he predicted to say”he needed a guitar, although its not that my guitar”. WHY WOULD YOU CALL ME TO SAY THAT? I took movers out insurance, however, the deductable was greater compared to guitar ($1000). I advised me that it was absurd to phone me personally to say that and they can refund me to get some pennies per pound, but to get a 5 pound acoustic guitar, seems like it Isn’t worthwhile. These folks just do not care. SO NEVER, EVER, EVER, THINK ABOUT THIS COMPANY. Would You like to sleep on the ground for a month and a half an hour? Would you want your valuables divided (my spouse pottery set, which has been wrapped along with DOUBLE BOXED. HOW DOES THAT BREAK?)
Save your money, save some time, since walking your items one at a time is much quicker than this Business.
GTS Shipping was contracted by federal broker because of my cross-country movement. Pickup sounded fine, but make certain to clearly amount and indelibly mark every box/piece on attest as boxes could vanish. Following one month compensated storage and also of 48 pieces finally delivered cross-country, two big and large boxes of stereo gear worth $3600 disappeared. I anticipated some broken bits but one well-wrapped bit was unacceptably abused.
Young delivery drop-off drivers even tried to con me with a feeble excuse. With no evaluation whatsoever by GTS operators that they instantly brushed off me to pitiful Anthem Claims to file claim. After 20 hours and 30 pages confirmation that they promised I had no foundation – entirely incompetent. You may win assert if evidential bits are ruined but forget it if you can’t absolutely prove missing things.
However competent they are, they can’t guarantee no shrinkage. I have zero faith in this operator, that would not even disclose their”required” mediation solutions, as required by legislation. Owners did nothing apart from discount me at each turn, hestitating to offer you any reasonable degree of help.
My move for this business still makes me mad. So many things went wrong for this movement, there are too many to mention. My items came broken, the delivery man held my items hostage till I paid him in cash, then proceeded to hit on me and then abandoned a rug onto his truck and left me wake up in the middle of the night to go get it. Neal at the house office had no answer to some of it. Eventually, my tool box with years of instrument I have gathered never made it around the truck. I eventually reached Neal who stated he had been attempting to reach me (he had been calling the Incorrect number) stated he’d my tool box. I had been so Pleased to hear this but I never received it. He said he mailed it by UPS, but did not have a tracking number, or receipt of Any Sort. I advised him to monitor it by the credit card that he used. He stated he paid money and had no record of this trade. I never got my tool box, he whined and either kept the box, dropped it or gave it away. I would never recommend this company to anyone. They’re unprofessional liars.
The Business issued a binding contract thanking me a transfer predicated on 1400 pounds at $.78 each pound. When the shipment had been received from North Carolina I had been advised that the move was based on cubic feet and that I was being billed an additional $551.76. The driver was very impolite and when I refused to sign the bill of lading clarified that I couldn’t have my belongings until I signed up it. When I threatened to get the sheriff’s department I was subsequently given a charge. This really is the biggest scam I Have ever seen in my entire life. They Ought to be ashamed of themselves. Don’t use this business!
We’ve moved a lot of times and never needed the kind of harm and following treatment since we had with NW Relocation. There was an effort to defraud us into paying extra for shipping since they maintained the moving van didn’t fit in to our condo’s parking lots. Luckily we’d photographs of additional moving trucks which were bigger than the automobile NW Relocation was using, which ended their attempt to charge us more money. But, almost everything in our cargo has been damaged beyond repair. They just wished to pay us $500 for compensation, which was a ridiculous settlement so we requested for mediation. Obviously they get to choose the arbitrator. Unfortunately for us, their arbitrator”Moving Authority Service” is just another joke. They’ve done nothing – that they do not even respond to emails or telephone calls. Our information – DO NOT USE NW RELOCATION
They dropped 14 of my boxes which had never been discovered. I have been dealing with them today for 3 1/2 Decades and I still haven’t received my missing boxes or the insurance money they said They’d send to me personally. When I received my items, most of my things had been broken and destroyed in some way. I obtained crap! They broke my piano legs, tried to unscrew my wooden headboard out of my bed which generated heavy scratches in my expenice headboard. The components that came from my new”U” shaped desk arrived torn apart and the majority of the components didn’t came, so I’d only wood components when my dest arrived. They took my lamps apart and dropped the screws and broke the glass lamp shades that I Can’t replace. My actual plants and imitation plants were filled collectively and as they filled my big fake plants in boxes, they broke the branches off which makes them useless and seemed bad. Virtually all of my items have been broken when they came. My couch came filthy and a significant tare on the face of the arm of this material. I had a dozen one of a type eyeglasses that I had for 63 years came piled inside each other broken. They stated I was insuranced. Incorrect… the firm explained that all they would give me was 600. They cover per pound. I never received it. I’ve predicted, Twice I delivered notarized images of everything they did and still nothing. They should not be reliable. People who had a great experience they had been blessed. I had been attempting to be great to the packers. They shipped me out to get them something to eat. So I did! I advised them to not touch anything within my workplace. I had $2000 in cash which was to get my traveling cash. When I returned, they ripped out my desk. And I really do me ripped it apart. They ripped the timber to where it was not any good. They all needed to do would be unhitch the screws but they didn’t understand how to do it so my desk was completely ruined. They packaged the $2000 bucks in certain box and refused to search for my cash. I advised them that was exactly what I wanted for my own travel and they said it is too bad. It’s packed. This is merely a glimps of the provider.
My husband and I transferred cross-country from Idaho into Maryland in September 2019.
When we started our relocation, we believed we’d be working with All Pro Moving Group, since it is that we initially were connected with. Tthey were really a brokering agent and could be contracting out our shifting petition to NW Relocation/GTS Shipping.
All Professional Moving Group was not forthcoming with this information, and we did not realize we had really signed up to use another firm until we had already paid our deposit.
A couple of days following the deposit, our sales rep from All Professional calls and states the initial cost quote was incorrect, and we now owe more to be able to maintain processing our transfer. They do not do in-home evaluations, therefore my husband estimated that the number of things we would be moving on the telephone. It is not possible to adequately estimate this kind of amount. We did not have enough opportunity to cope with it, so we agreed to pay an extra deposit and proceeded ahead.
This should have been the first red flag. After we compensated All Guru, all communication from them stopped. GTS Shipping/NW Relocation picked up our things at Boise, Idaho on September 18.
A team came to our flat to pack and load our things to a truck. Since our transfer was over 2000 miles, our shipping quote was 5-21+ times. The paperwork also said that they cannot guarantee specific delivery dates. This was the very first time during the procedure that we heard they could not guarantee a delivery date –if we’d known, we would not have worked for this business. We believe that they are purposely deceptive about this since they suspect they’d eliminate business if they disclosed their true shipping interval upfront.
We moved to our new house on September 26.
During the upcoming few months, I talked to customer service several times. Every time the broker, Vicki, gave me the runaround concerning the standing of the items, and every time the shipping quote altered, causing me to think that nobody really had some clue what’s happening.
Based on these discussions, it would appear that this business holds things hostage at a warehouse until it’s suitable for them to provide. They won’t tell you that at any given stage during the sales period, probably because nobody would do business together having known this ahead.
I tried to find some contact information to get upper management, but could not locate any. I think they purposely conceal upper management’s data from public access due to the number of complaints they’d get otherwise.
Ultimately, we had been given a potential shipping quote of October 21, and started to believe that this ordeal has been coming to a conclusion.
On the day of shipping, the truck driver advised us that he’d driven by our speech to test for truck availability, also stated that because of weight limitations on nearby streets, he would not have the ability to obtain his tractor trailer to our townhome complex. They’d need to move everything to a smaller shuttle truck – in an extra $500 price. As we moved from Idaho into Maryland, we’re unable to see our new house in person, so how were we to have understood that the provider’s specific truck would not be permitted access? This is something which the company themselves ought to evaluate far beforehand and pay for the price of, not something which needs to be shown to the client on the day of shipping. We believed we had no option except to cover the extra ridiculous fee since it had already taken them long enough to provide our things and we had been concerned that needing to cover would further delay shipping.
A quick Google search shows that this firm has many negative reviews, and dependent on the service I have experienced up to now, it is not tough to know why. I wish we’d seen these testimonials before signing a contract with all the dreadful enterprise. And I wish I had had over 4000 characters to completely clarify our ordeal.
Certainly the worse experience potential. TRULY A NIGHTMARE! The Sales Rep stated that their transportation time was typically carrying 5 to 7 days and it took 14 days. Afterward, when my things arrived many were so damaged it seemed like it had been almost intentional. I’d plates Which Were bubbled wrapped and put into plastic bags Which Were literally shattered. My vest had enormous gouges in it and virtually anything that has been breakable was busted. Everything was also covered in a thin film of grime so when they sat things in my brand new carpeting, it left a mark. Additionally, they stated They would call me 24 hours Before delivery and they ended up calling me 5 hours until they arrived at my door step. I’m strongly warning you to not do business with this business. You may regret it if you do.
I initially contracted with Moving Experts US to relocate me by the Seattle area to Nashville, TN. They subbed out the real movement to NW Relocation / GTS Shipping from Portland, OR. Both have steered and keep to steer me amazingly wrong. My complaint is contrary to the two firms and some other shadow associations beneath which they do business.
First (binding) quotation from MPUS–$3954.77 on 08/14/2019 was performed by Lisa Cross (good cop) on the telephone (today I see that is a red flag! ) ) . At the moment, I had been requested to and paid a deposit of $1155.54.
Revised (binding) quotation from MPUS–$4695.75 on 08/19/2019 was performed by Nikki Price (bad cop), also on the telephone. Despite my insistence that nothing had actually changed from the initial quotation, she improved by cubic footage, the foundation for fees, from Lisa’s 642 into 727, allowing me know politely that she’s years of knowledge and is generally within 5-10 percent. When I take up less space compared to 727 cubic ft, my fee will probably go back again. At this moment, Nikki requested for an extra $1768.48, which I paid, even though the entire gap between the initial estimate and instant was just about $700.
Input GTS / NW Relocation, the bodily shipper. Had I known that they were the firm who’d be managing my merchandise, they’d have never been permitted in the home. All you need to do is read BBB and also Yelp remarks to understand they are shady since the arboretum.
The moving team was not all that awful. Just Bryan spoke English but appeared to be fairly together. They did, but do anything they could to raise the quantity of my burden –carrying cushions, etc., from drawers and repacking them individually, not carrying furniture aside, packaging professionally, etc.,. In addition they had bogus amounts written on the interior of the truck revealing cubic footage. Long story short, they packed my items to approximately 600 cubic feet, less than the initial quote, and need to bill me, today, for 950. They are now holding my load hostage for an undisclosed site.
I’ve submitted this on to Yelp and will plan to return to upgrade it as my problems – hopefully – are solved. The below was as of 5/20/2013. If You’re Looking at booking a plumber, I’d think twice about NW Relocation. This is our present experience and we are in the midst (or hopefully the conclusion of potentially getting our items ). 1- The first quote we were given was significantly less than what the real cost was. This was despite me requesting they include a few buffer by moving from over 20 boxes to 30 or 40 from the quote. Nevertheless, our estimate improved by greater than 30 percent. I was alright with this and only wanted my things to be sent safely and securely. 2- They understood from the start the place (street address, zip code, town, etc.) of their final delivery. I even told them a large Semi would NOT match in which the delivery place is and assessed this to the contract. Despite this the guy who took delivery of those items did not blink, stated your closing price wouldn’t change and today. . .guess what? NW delivery will not provide our items with us paying an additional $650 bucks. 3- Their customer support is horrible. We can’t get everyone to call us back and just the driver is reacting (incidentally, the driver/delivery man has been quite good – he must run this company because he really matters and simplifies problems). I will log back in and update this again to update everyone in my expertise here. I have also posted to their FB Twitter and page acct to find out if ANYONE will phone me back. Nothing up to Now.
My family moved from Seattle, WA to Tulsa, OK on December 7th, 2019 we had been advised to anticipate our furniture inside the week. We didn’t get it until January 24th at 7pm at nighttime. Our loved ones, with two little kids had to live without furniture and restricted clothing in a vacant apartment throughout Christmas and New Year and well into January. After the first deposit to APT Moving Company, an extra $559 was required before they’d move the furniture. We had no option but to cover it believing that the furniture will be on its way. Unfortunately this didn’t occur, we had no contact against the movers following this, no one answered the telephone , or returned voice messages. The furniture has been eventually delivered late at night nicely within the 21 business days, plus they wouldn’t empty the truck before an additional $75 was paid together with the last sum, as it had been a”long walk” into the flat that was a joke. In addition, the shipping driver couldn’t speak English that was ridiculous because we couldn’t speak with him. The last amount was twice what was initially quoted by APT Moving business. Many pieces of furniture have been damaged or broken. This was a dreadful and nerve racking experience and I’d advise anyone to not use APT Moving business or GTS transport. After amassing money up front they grip your furniture to get ransom till they get more from you, they’re a lot of deceptive and dishonest characters.
This is the way it went down. Select up day went well (23 Aug 2013). Todays is 4 Oct 2013 and that I do not hve my things. I have contacted the driver’s and all I’ve been told is nothing and tomorrow. I am terrified that my things are lost or broken. NW said oh we will take $120.00 away lol. All I ask you is my things and I cant get that. Some people may have had a fantastic experience with them but do as you desire. I am ex army and I understand how moves assume to proceed and it not enjoy that
Do not anticipate that what will create it. I composed my name email address along with telephone number on each box just in case.
They ruined the paneling in my home during the transfer. They
Added another 5 million on to this cost. It felt like a scam.
But I’d no alternative but pay a sudden 5 million over the quotation.
I’ve got things which never arrived.
I felt conned in the minute Tyler walked to the home.
Find somebody else. I’ve alot missing.
Look out to Tyler.
Just wish add. At shipping. They employed my dolly to float even if they had their very own. I never anticipated that they would push with it.
There’s more. Will not do so again
. I will utilize Pods second I believe.
Overview, this movement cost far more than mentioned, took more than purchased, was highly unprofessional, and they dropped components That I have never heard back in their”customer support”. I’m not Pleased with My expertise, and Won’t recommend this service to anyone. I sent the Exact Same email for their customer support obtained, I have never heard back, and I am still lacking things:” They showed up 22 days following my pickup, longer than they anticipated, and came on a Saturday. It Wasn’t made apparent to me that money was not the only type of payment which would be anticipated. They essentially black sent me to my things and I was Not Able to get the money on Saturday, so that they left. The following day that the motorist phoned me back and explained he can redeliver at another 3 hours, even if I could Find the Essential money brings a 575″re-delivery charge”. This fee is absurd, and I felt for certain I had been black mailed. Since the client support lines weren’t available on the weekend, so I Can’t confirm this outrageous Quantity of money, was that the True nice. I managed to receive the cash out on Sunday with a cash g, $731.70 more than my initial quote. That’s absurd! The movers’d also disassemble my futon from the Procedure, and made me to reassemble, however the bolts and nuts of it weren’t delivered. Each of the Main pieces showed up, as mentioned on the stock, however none of the components, nor was it about the stock. This auto cost me $500, and Isn’t functional with no pieces. Finally, and this is possibly the least pro Part of my moving encounter. When the men came back to Sunday, they whined about me dwelling on the next floor (although I left apparent, and paid more for this ), needed me to help them stock and then unpackage all of my materials. And then THEY HIRED PEOPLE OFF THE STREET to help them!! They literally had all of my things onto the curb requesting individuals to assist them. I was worried someone was planning to run away with my belongings. They did Wind up hiring somebody, to assist that I guessed they simply paid by money. This Individual clearly wasn’t trained, would have ruined or stole my belongings. This is not a suitable company practice.Overall, this movement cost far more than mentioned, took more than quoted, missing components, was very unprofessional and has been potential extortion. I’m not content with my expertise, and won’t suggest this service to anybody.
Well, Don’t Use Them!!! I used them since their quotation was about $2000 plus it ws smallest I assessed. But when they arrived to select up, they informed me $4000! Since I needed to go out on the afternoon, I had to concur. When they sent, they attempted to charge more because they rely gap of the doorway was just one measure. So I needed to transfer all of the things by itself! Following that, I discovered broken fanitures, broken dishes, broken printer along with numerous missing things. I attempted to assert but they did not care and did nothing whatsoever. Today I must get all of them again. I truly regret that I’d used them, I must have utilized Pod or even U Haul although they were more expensive.
We contacted NW Relocations to transfer us from OR into GA.. When we didn’t hear by them as we had been taught we could be, we contacted them to find confirmation of pickup time and date. They didn’t have us scheduled for pickup prior to the afternoon after we’d agreed on. We needed to spend some time with this solved and they ordered to come the afternoon which was originally agreed upon. The afternoon they managed to arrive at pick up our possessions, they were assumed to be present at 9am and didn’t arrive until nearly 11:30. The loading of the possessions was likely to take no longer than five hours. Everything was packaged and at a storage device and it took them before 8:45 that day to Receive our possessions loaded. We just had 4 days to to be in GA and because it had obtained all day we now only had 3 times to induce cross country. When the delivery eventually came, we had a couple things Which Were broken along with a ship which was lost. We contacted the company and explained that we had lost things and Couldn’t get the problem solved. I went from client support to her boss and so forth till I had been passed into the owner of the Business. It took nearly a week to hear back from him just to be told that they Weren’t responsible for the”missing” items. It was just like speaking to a brick wall and still not solved. I’m now in the process of calling the Better Business Bureau in hopes that something could be achieved but wanted to frighten everybody else to prevent dealings with this firm!
The movers were sort. That is about all that I will say for this particular corporation.
Our possessions weren’t treated with caution. The boxes marked”electronics” and the box with my jewelry box inside had been equally opened and rifled through. I had an expensive sound receiver which I marked as”Sonya’s Accessories” which wasn’t touched in any way. The Xbox360 has been OUTSIDE of the delivery box, floating free in the vehicle.
GTS Shipping lost a lot of the hardware to your bunk beds and portion of their hardware to the futon. The shipping company refused to prepare the bunk beds since it was”custom made furniture,” so we learned about the lost hardware that the next day once we built matters ourselves. I needed to purchase replacement parts online.
Furthermore, a number of our possessions were ruined. The shippers mangled the fenders in my kid’s antique bike along with the supports for a storage container. One of those tables has been no longer wrapped in blankets (it had been wrapped originally on packaging ) and contains many brand new scratches on the wood surface. Two sentimental mugs which were wrapped in bubble wrap has been also broken. Our freezer is currently biking constantly. Our existing total for replacement and repairs will be about $350.
Last, the delivery driver attempted to provide me many things which didn’t belong to me personally. I actually don’t have a vacuum, therefore I know that it wasn’t mine — but that usually means that somebody else that used this provider is overlooking a vacuum, some wrapping paper, cushions for their sofa, and garden tools.
For $8000 I expected better.
