It had been raining off and on the afternoon of my movement and the men wanted to be sure my things didn’t become wet. Everything has been shrink wrapped and secure.

Crew of 3 revealed on time and began working immediately.  They wrapped everything to protect from scrapes and were very professional and considerate.  They were needed to transfer contents from two flats in 2 different buildings and did so quickly and economically.  When they arrived in the new apartment that they unloaded with pace and looked after place items where asked.  They cleaned up all their newspaper and wrappings and I must say that it was the absolute best move I’ve ever experienced.  If you’d like a fantastic unstressful transfer you need to phone North Star!

The movers were punctually friendly efficient, lively, and such characteristics were characterized the whole move. The guys understood their job and worked together to create our move really simple for us as a family.   Would want the identical team if we transferred again. Good JOB!!!!

All these movers were so sweet, courteous, effective and just overall good.   I felt comfortable by allowing them go my possessions and these men took great care of my classic furniture.   The in person and telephone customer support was Excellent!   Stefy was super useful!

I can not say enough about how good this moving business is.   In my initial contact to Establish the movement, Alma Lopez could not have been much more useful.   She was quite personable, managed to answer all of my queries, and set my mind at ease that all was planning to move well.   On the afternoon of this movement, the group of Jacito, Ryan and Juan came on timeand got all from their townhome and into a nearby flat (we’re doing a redesign ) effeciently, professionally as well as smiles in their faces!  The latter (the smiles) made all the difference since it put me completely at ease.   In general, I could not have been more happy and will definately use Northstar again in 6 weeks once we return into our dwelling.

I have had a few bad experiences with movers through recent years. This wasn’t among these.
Northstar transferred my loved ones quickly and with no harm to my own things. My movers called mepersonally, came on time, helped bunch, and were considerate and professional.
Even though they looked very young they knew precisely what they were doing. Definitely the best movers I have ever needed. My flimsy ikea furniture lived. They took the opportunity to dismantle the bed frames and place them back together.
Certainly I’d use them again.

Really pleased with the service. Prompt, professional, useful, and without gouging, additional expenses, etc.. All very reasonable pricing and the pricing has been quite obvious. For an accountant, I was really satisfied with this. We just transferred 15 minutes off, but what was quite smooth. So impressed!
In general, I will certainly use them again when we must move.

I have used Northstar for 4 motions and they’re terrific. Never had an issue. Ever. Employ them and you won’t be let down. 
The movers are always on time, very hierarchical and quite cautious with each of the products. 
They take some time required to get it done correctly and in precisely the exact same time, they’re extremely efficient.

So ultimately, they asked me to what I believed was an excess load (it is hugely overpriced, and I know clearly that is where moving businesses create quite substantial margins). . .lesson discovered: I could provide my own next time.Aside from this little bang, the business was superb!

Throughout our movement on Dec. 30th, 2019, I had significant back and disk problems preventing me from going around easily. During our move, I abandoned my Rolex within my toilet with my sink. When my wife went back to receive it out of our previous home it was gone. Just the movers had accessibility to our house, nobody else. On the Path to AR in GA.. Called my moving firm to test on the go. Got a man voice that told me that my transferring co workers had gone out of business and he joined me into North Star who signed up me. The following day got a call out of my inspector that wasn’t from business and also did my transfer. Do not now why North Star felt the need to lie however sure didn’t wreck us my entire day and week. So did the persistent calls from North Star harassing me. It was dreadful. Do not know really the way the transfer with North Star are.

I’m incredibly disappointed with my experience by Northstar. Here is the very first time that I’ve used them, along with the 3 other adventures were 5 stars+, but it was as poor as you can get.

1) They intentionally stole $2,000 money in my roommate’s badge. There was an account with all the money and foreign exchange, and also the international currency and envelope continue to be there while the money is gone. So I advised them again about many other parking lots in the region, and he said quite rudely that they had started the clock on us 30 minutes before since they were searching for a distance. I absolutely shouldn’t be paying for these to become slow about locating parking. And of course, I did not require the moving truck and informed them this well ahead (we were just moving a few floors).

3) I predicted beforehand explaining that we’d require some help packing as well as moving. When they came, they were totally unprepared and had an extremely idle, poor attitude in coming it. I realized that this would not be a fantastic use of my cash, so I advised them to be worried about packaging, but I relied on this given I was simply going 3 bedrooms.

They were also surprised by 3 bedrooms. So I am not positive whether the firm did not inform them correctly or should they just did not examine this purchase. I am guessing the latter.

4) The movers were so super dense. In my previous experience with Northstar, the movers were both quick and professional. I frequently had to move until the move-in flat to inquire what was happening. (Now I know they had been busy stealing items ).

This is a very bothering movement. I relied on Northstar granted my previous positive experiences together. I was lonely as a young lady, and these men were rude to me and also took good advantage of me. And of course, I did not become much moved by these anyway and am still moving everything as we talk.

Use somebody else! They totally overcharged me and took all day to transfer the contents of a packed 900 sq foot condominium 30 miles off. I had been billed $1500 for it! It took them 7 hours just to load the vehicle, but just two to unload it. They stated it was since the condominium was far off the street. But two movers proceeded even more things into the exact same condominium in 3 months, such as transferring it from another location. I had been paying for 3 men, but 1 just worked half of the time. He spent a great deal of time around the truck and has been working to support the truck which had difficulties using the oil. One wrapped the furniture indoors, and it was complete overkill. He wrapped it as though it were sending across state, and then charged me to the shrink wrap and tape! I feel that has been to increase the moment, thus improving the costs. The next man did all the job, carrying the wrapped furniture into the truck. I felt awful for him. The only two bits which weren’t wrapped were ruined, and I am still searching for bits of furniture which are seemingly forever lost. They hurried to unload and lots of matters were broken/leaking as a outcome. Each of the boxes have been dumped in 1 room. It was a total mess! I have moved a long time, which is the worst movement experience ever! Do not use them!

Worst experience I had with moving business. Do not think about the evaluation in Yelp or even Google, all of these are fake remarks and charges. They’re unorganized; they took 8 hours to load the trucks and if they get into our new house it was already day and they were simply racing and lost everything. They did not unwrap virtually anything, left they garbage behind; we wind up unwrapping everything. I’ve accumulated 3 extra-large box of the own blanket.
And worst of all, they’ve ruined our appliances, furniture, flooring because you can see in the images (Kitchen table foundation, Refrigerator, workplace cupboard, seats and flooring ). I have not had chance yet to start my boxes!!!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Do it yourself before you hire them. They’re masters of this”bait & switch.” Our quote went up 250 percent. Within their contract it says that the quote comprises,”Expert advice and advice throughout the plan of your move.” Do not fall for this. As soon as they receive your deposit safely into their coffers, you’re by yourself. They do not return telephone calls, and should you chance to find somebody on the telephone, they’re rude, remote and may care less about the customer/consumer. They’ll rip you off, and then tell you there is nothing they could do about it. Our bidding began at $2,200 and ended in $5,600. They’ve no trouble telling you that your move was postponed 2-3 days and that your items will not be delivered before the end of the month (in the start of the month). We’re still waiting to get our things. They’re still sitting in Chicago!
