    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

    Beware of the company!

After interviewing a few moving companies, I picked Nirthern Van Lines–huge mistake!   They say that they are a real moving firm, but that is actually in accurate–they’re agents.

Following the movers arrived to pick up my items on June 22and I have never heard back in Robert in Northern Van traces or anybody else out of the business. After they had my deposit, then they have been done with me! The first shipping window was June 26-July 5th. I didn’t get my items till July 16!!

The reality is that underground contracts outside with moving relationship inc– a business near Denver. In case you’ve hired west, can not get ahold of anybody, and would like to understand where your material is– appear MCI and get them.

My moving experience was quite stressful, but mercifully we obtained all of our items.

I would also suggest checking out’shield my transfer’– it is a site in the department of transport, also has some terrific resources- like complaints filed against businesses, etc.. According to the DOT, when the movers are overdue, they must inform you in email or writing –that never occurred with northern.

This company will rip you off!

Their support was beyond poor; it had been criminal.  Beware of the business.  They’ll rip you off.  Do not simply hunt for business reviews because these searches will usually arrive back positive.  Rather, include the term fraud into your Internet search, and you’ll be amazed at the enormous quantity of dreadful experiences this firm has given individuals.  They’re crooks!  They start really politely–all”yes ma’am” and”no ma’am” and”whatever you want ma’am,” however they’ll stun you in the long run.  They did not even appear till three days following the specified time.  They then would not return telephone calls or mails.  Then the last equilibrium came in at almost 3 times greater than the sum I had anticipated according to their quote, and they threatened to maintain my things hostage before I coughed up the balance in money or money order.  For this day they haven’t returned my telephone calls, letters or emails.  I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau, the Oregon Attorney General’s Office, along with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.  They responded to the very first BBB query saying that clients frequently underestimate the real burden of the things, which ends in a cost higher than that which they may have expected.  But once I talked with them and explained the items I’d, they ensured me that business standards let them provide a rather precise weight estimate, certainly not one which could be grossly underestimated.  Given that it’s their business to know these things, I think that their activities comprise either clear incompetence or directly upward thievery.  Considering that they refuse to deal with my dispute, I am left to think the latter is authentic.  STAY CLEAR OF THESE CRIMINALS!!

    *** NORTHERN VAN LINES ***

On 10/9/12, talked with US DOT about # 1147457 – Northern Van Lines, as of 10/3/12 their permit was REVOKED. *** DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY *** my home products where picked up on 8/28/12 and still have never been delivered. Now makes 6 months with no term on a strong deliver date. Nobody from Northern Van Lines is coming my calls or emails. The only real contact I managed to receive any information was using the pickup motorist Jared James Anderson @ 541-606-2494 who recently stopped and said my items have been stored in a warehouse at Eugene, OR. Jared James Anderson suggested Jessie Thorn @ 541-520-5173 sub-leased the warehouse together and would be a fantastic contact. Nobody from that amount is coming any calls. I have even sent the Sales Rep in the time Zachary Adams @ 541-255-3339 a number of emails and still no reply. That was a man named Julian @ 877-221-9355 who at the time had been that their Quality Assurance and today is a Sales Rep @ 503-895-5539. Julian claimed he’d get in contact with shipment and also have somebody call me back about my supply date which has been around 10/1/12 – still nothing.

This company cancelled on the day of the move.

Northern Van Lines CANCELLED ON US LATE THE DAY OF OUR MOVE!!!!  I took a day off work to satisfy the movers and they NEVER SHOWED UP.  Many hours on the telephone and a lot of excuses after they eventually told me that they chose to cancell the purchase as southwest Colorado was to difficult to support.  If they’d told me this several weeks earlier I’d have recognized it and discovered another mover.    I felt as if I’d spent a few months of diligent hard work and was fed a bunch of lies the entire moment.  Northern refunded my deposit about ten days following the cancellation. Obviously in the mean time I paid off a month’s worth of credit card attention on it.    I absolutely wouldn’t recommend this business.

    Movers - BEWARE

This firm has been late picking my furniture up at Oregon and we have been supposed to have obtained it in Florida on September 24th, however today it’s October 9th and we’ve yet to watch our materials.  They’ve claimed it’s on the street or it still might be in storage in Oregon.  They can not appear to locate it and when forced all of the customer service people do is attribute their shipment.  They won’t call back if they say they are going to dismiss voice messages.  They do not appear to care about their clients.  I’m convinced that if their lips are moving they’re lying.  I shall update this when I really get my furniture, but if you’re thinking of a transfer, do not use those people.  Their customer care man”Brad” even told me he would not use his firm after the difficulties we have had together.  I’m about ready to submit a custody record.

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I had been moving a complete 514 mph, it took them 18 times to send my possessions. I had been given a price quote of $1300 and if the movers showed up (that was 5 hours late!) They said my possessions were too heavy and they had to pack my possessions (the majority of which were packaged with me & I had been told when talking to Jason, the salesman, which packaging was included in the fee). That raised my invoice for $2165, nearly double my quotation. The movers wouldn’t touch my possessions until I signed a form saying my preceding quote was emptiness. There was not any way to cancel since I had been told AFTER I set my $400 deposit down that the deposit was non-refundabe, even though I asked Jason if there weren’t any penalties that I need to know about. About 10 days to the firm holding my possessions, I called & talked to Chris, who promised to be partial owner of the business, to inquire where my possessions were since I wasn’t given an upgrade. He said to me that they had been at a warehouse in Colorado & ensured me that they’d came at 3-4 more days. My possessions didn’t arrive for another 8 weeks!! After I obtained my possessions, a number of my possessions were broken like a huge desk and also a lamp! The site, moving quote, & personnel at this business lie to & mislead customers. I must have just rented a Uhaul & transferred my belongings myself!!!

    BEWARE!! Scam moving company

BEWARE!! I obtained a first estimate of $1500 for a 1 room flat. The movers showed up two hours late (later I phoned a couple times) and began to raise the cost to $2600 according to a brand new’burden’ quote and then they INSISTED on wrap my couch and dining seats for another $200. After several rescue delays and numerous explanations, Northern Van Lines (USDOT-1147457 MC-418133 CID#; 4051123) delivered my furniture two weeks later compared to the 3 to five afternoon guarantee date.  All my living space, bedroom and dining room furniture has been ruined beyond repair.  Contained in the extensive harm to All my furniture, have been some big pieces of furniture and little boxed items Which Are missing.     Besides my lost things, additional boxed items which belong to other clients have surfaced within this mess. Along with my lost things, additional boxed items which belong to other clients have surfaced within this mess. I discovered the owner of the possessions and reunite them personally. (05/09/2012): Still haven’t got an apology without any cash from Northern Van Lines. My promise will be still”in process” almost two weeks after I registered. I don’t have any dining room chairs to sit on, my mattress framework, bookcase & societal counselor are still lacking. Amy (Northern Van Lines rep) calls and provides me a refund of $500 (from their $2700 moving price ) to eliminate my negative remarks. They ought to provide the $500 refund for the problems!

    ***DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY***

All of 5 star reviews are all fake.  Save yourself a hassle.  Don’t use.  My story is typical of virtually everybody elses story.  No communication, overdue, additional charges, etc..  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!  YOU WILL SORRY IF YOU DO.  EXTRA WARNING: ” I attempted to get them by visiting their site and requesting a quotation under another title, telephone number, and email address, and that I had been contacted back  with a man named Zachary by Alliance Worldwide Van Lines.  I guess they’ll probably completely change.  Alliance Worldwide Van Lines has bogus testimonials.  They’re all 5 stars and are well appointed composed.  They’re just days apart too.  It’s absurd to think that business has established that lots of 5 star answers in this brief quantity of time without 1 complaint.  It’s quite unrealistic.

    GOD please help me

I used the company to transfer my things on June 30. Intially they explained that within 6 weeks it’ll be sent. Now is August 6. I haven’t heard anything regarding my own stuff. I am really really stressed. That is first time in your life, I’ve completed a transfer and now I don’t have anything with me in my new apartment. We’re extremely strict vegetarian and right now we cannot cook any meals in the home as all our items hasn’t touched us. I also have a two year-old child, she keeps on asking me every day when would my possessions come, it’s extremely damaging to inform her that I am don’t understand. It’s demanding cooking for her at home and also sleeping on the rug for this little child is much harder. I’ve left atleast 100 voicemail to each of the northern van line amount that I have, but nobody is giving me phone back nor Joshua Wiley who assisted me with booking is allowing me to understand anything about my things. I am really worried and don’t understand what to do in here. I am only praying GOD that my things comes fast. If anybody knows what I need to do in such a scenario apart kind praying please do allow me to know because it’s been more that 37 days today and I am very concerned.

    Don't Use These People

Started out nice with a Fantastic quotation and favorable adventure recieving quotation.   When the deposit has been paid it all was CRAP.   Communication was awful, not returning calls. Came three times late to pick up things.   I’m still awaiting my things to be sent they’re currently 5 days late and no one will tell me as it’ll arrive or where it is.   The sales man over my accounts Won’t return telephone calls.   This was a dreadful experience and I am still awaiting my things to be sent.   And They’re wanting to charge me over $1000 more than what I had been quoted.   I Won’t Be paying anything else to them.   GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE!!!!

    DO NOT USE

Undoubtedly the WORST moving adventure I’ve ever had. They sent my merchandise TWO MONTHS LATE. In this period client support had been NO help I could not find honest responses from anybody about my possessions and why it was taking them so long to send it. Amy at client support never returned my telephone calls along with Carlos the manager at dispatch was outside rude and whined to me always. After we finally got our possessions which again was just two weeks following our guaranteed delivery date, of class stuff was broken and missing. In addition to that the driver showed up with a single man to perform all of the unloading so that my husband and a friend needed to help purge. Along with the motorist kept giving us additional peoples possessions and if I would deny them he’d let me”just take it, its in your record” I didn’t take it and was really concerned that my belongings was given away too.  I strongly discourage anyone from using this business your relocation is going to be a nightmare. I wish I might have noticed these reviews prior to my movement! Avoid Northern Van Lines!

Liars, Crooks, do not return calls

I left a deposit with the business to move our things from UT into TX, once I had been dumb enough to fall to their shouts of”costs can go up because of gas prices, lock on your quote today!” .   I regret this completely.   We ended up changing our thoughts and with a rental truck to our relocation rather, so we can tow our next car.   It’s been over 6 months and we haven’t gotten our deposit back because this business is unethical, and can steal your money without return calls. Julian, the agent I talked with, was very helpful & kind initially, and seemed very educated.   He verbally told me that when I did not sign the contract, then I could receive my deposit back when we changed my mind.   When I called to tell him we needed to cancel, he also stated it had been no Issue, we would have refund in 7-10 business days.   Fourteen days, no refund. I phoned again, he cried and said it seemed just like the cancellation did not undergo (hmmm that have to’ve been why on the day of the movement, a man called at 10:30 pm inquiring when they need to come another day….when we’d already packed up & were on our way! Excellent thing we did not utilize them, or we’d’nt have transferred in time!) .   Julian stated in 7-10 business days, our credit card will be refunded.   Two weeks, no refund, and since then until today no on in Northen Van Lines has returned my calls.   I’ve known as Julian and the main point That’s on their own website, but just make answering machine.   Has anybody else attained someone at their primary number?   I’m wondering if that is a real business in Any Way, or would I fall for a scam?   To Improve this lies, Julian explained that they had been BBB graded A, and mails from him reveal the BBB emblem & that score, but when you examine them up they have not score on BBB!!!   I truly wish I had not’ been in a hurry to find this movement coordinated, and had emerged to them more before even making a deposit.

    Don't even bother

I began my hunt of movers receiving estimates from many businesses. By experience, I did not need to choose the least expensive but also did not wish to pay high dollar. Northern Vanlines has been my 3rd call to get a quotation. In speaking with Chris, everything sounded professional. I’d told me that I had been getting quotations and he’d asked me exactly what companies I had been considering. I advised him of a single firm and he informed me that I should not use them since they sublet the job and are agents, maybe not a moving business. He advised me that in utilizing Northern Vanlines, I’d be working together, their trucks along with workers that are clearly indicated by Northern Vanlines name. This did cause me to feel much more comfortable I can place my hope in 1 business. He offered me a quotation, that was somewhat bigger then the remainder but supposing I’d be operating with a moving company rather than a broker, I believed I’d be managed to a more professional level. We had been on a deadline and he told me that my possessions are the final about the vehicle headed for Arizona and it’d just take 6 weeks to arrive. We had been driving ourselves down and were likely a 5 day excursion. Perfect! I gave the necessary amount to get a deposit along with the bargain had been made. The day of the movement, the truck did not appear. I recieved a phone in the inspector saying the air ducts on the vehicle were outside and they weren’t able to make it that day but he promised me they’d be from the very next day. The following day, two weeks later then anticipated, I have a knock at the door. Three men are standing away from the doorway with a clipboardand I look beyond them and also see a leased Uhaul truck. They believed that they were with Northern Vanlines and so were there to receive my things. The one thing that had some signs they were really with Northern was that the paperwork along with my quotation. After assencing everything was being transferred, they included additional packing fees to the amount of $275 to your packaging and wrapping of a furniture and also the TVs, that Chris had advised me they’d package and it was already part of their fees. All of the furniture was fresh that I bought two decades before when I purchased the house. While taking apart my bedroom place, the Agency had advised me that he did not have the perfect tools to disasemble my mattress but after two hours, he somehow managed. In addition, he said that people put my bed together had employed the wrong instruments (that was the delivery men from the furniture shop ). The movement seemed pretty smooth out there, except once they got into my dining room table (my pricey dining room table). They’d wrapped the desk, legs and all, as a single bit. That was too broad to have out any door in the home. I said this to the one who appeared to be the group leader and he quantified and discovered this to be accurate. They unwrapped the dining table so that they can take off the legs. I had a few things I had been carrying with me in my automobile to still package so that I headed up stairs to deal with that since they took good care of my desk. Afterwards, I go outdoors as you’re loading the UHAUL and watch my dining table, wrapped up again, together with the legs still on it. They stated they were able to match my 42″ stand from the 36″ doorway. That is when I discovered that two of these legs were flexed. I inquired about it and they explained that they loosened the legs for out it and once they got to the supply centre they’d find the tools necessary to completely eliminate the legs. All is filled and away they go with an additional $850. We arrived at Arizona on time (March 31st) and has been excited to recieve our own furinture from the new home that could be coming the following day (April 1st)! Nothing, I predict Chris and nobody replies or returns my calls. The following day, more discounted telephone calls. Eventually after three times I undergo somebody (john). I receive a story regarding the truck using air brake problems and the would not have the ability to experience the hills safely but that it had been solved and my things were on the road. He cried for the inconvience but that my things are here from the 7th. The 7th, nothing! 8th, again and nothing can not get a returned phone. Subsequently the 9th I put connected with another man who informs me my possessions havent abandoned Oregon! I am at a rant! The supervisor, Amy calls me and tells me how sorry she’s but that whomever told me I’d find what by the 7th was misinformed. Additionally, Chris could have NEVER told me that my things are there from the 1st! He is a group supervisor and would not make a guarantee like this. I was subsequently told that my materials had been either still in Oregon or at the Tennesse distribution centre??? Tennesse? By Washington State to Oregon to Tennesse into Arizona?? After several calls and monitoring, and much more forecasts I spoke with everybody at work a minimum of three times per day. I even found out that John is not actually John, it is a name that he uses some instances, an alis for those who may. My possessions arrive at the 19th of April, 18 weeks later I had been promised. At a moving truck branded ZEFFY Trucking. Yeahnot a Northern Vanlines truck! They eliminated all of my things to the drive, all of the battered boxes into the garage (of 42 boxes, 9 were undamaged). After everything was set out, I discovered a few things were lost and that I had been assured from the motorist that all was there and I’d observe that if he unwrapped everything. I walked into the rear of his truck merely to look and that he blocked me and said that he’s what unloaded and to”just wait”. That is when I found more sticks and other things still at the trunk! I began pointed out and they unloaded the remainder. They also had NO tools to permeate my furniture, I needed to borrow by the neighbor that I did not understand. The mattress they had been”put together incorrect” was broken as well as the side boards that hold the matress up couldn’t be put back together, firewood now. The dining room table glass top was broken in two corners and if they moved to set the legs back on, it appears the legs were simply snapped off and couldn’t be placed together. I called Amy immediately, nothing! I still had to cover the remaining part of the delivery however I actually wanted to converse to her very first. Nothing, or so the driver indicated we write all back on the reciept and he’d signal that all was ruined. After all this, the driver (facing the men ) says to me…”so, are you really going to trick us?” Following times of phoning, I decided to test my wife’s cellphone because I never known from it earlier and it was replied the 2nd ring! They appeared to be viewing the calls because maybe not 1 minute ealier I’d called out of my phone 3 days with no response. I had been advised by Amy that she believes I’m intitled to a kind of reembursment to that I never watched, and she and the business was never heard from again. I filed a claim with the insurance provider in your movers and following $3200 worth of harm was provided $96! You appreciate what you need, don’t utilize Northern Vanlines to your transfer. I understand I can not be the only one! In actuality, during one of my coversations with a few of those sales men John, or whatever he calls himself, along with Amy the director, they both told me that over the last couple months that they appear to be receiving a great deal of complaints and are working with it. Frankly , the only thing I believe They’re working on is refining the LIES, also amassing YOUR money!   In Northern Vanlines: ” You know that I am! You understand exactly what you’ve done and you understand everything you promised. This won’t ever expire until I believe everybody is educated.

    This company is a SCAM!!

Please Please….do yourself a favor….DO NOT USE THESE SO CALLED MOVERS!!  They lie, take your cash and treat your items like yesterdays trash!  Everything I owned was either stolen, dammaged or completely broken!  They tell you it just cost 1500 then in the end, it ends up costing you 2400.00.  If you appreciate your items find a different inspector, these folks simply need your cash and your TV.  Yes they stole my Flat screen TV.

    Worst Company

Now that this disasterous transfer is finished I will post this review. We ought to have heeded a few of the negative remarks about the business and especially Chris, the business representative. Bottom-line, the organization and Chris are dishonest, scam artists, and directly on the fringe of being crooks. His quote, once we carefully clarified each room along with also the contents, was 10,694 lbs. The true weight, even though we never saw any weight instruction, was 20,000. Now I can know a 10 to 20 percent marginal mistake, but almost 100%? As a former fraud investigator I’d call this an”intentional low-ball” to procure the contract understanding that the weight will probably be much higher. The pickup driver has been cocky and arrogant. In just two minutes that he wanted something to drink. After he picked up my fiance’s furniture that he tapped her into paying him along with the 3 packers every $100 hint and buying them dinner at Subway (we have canceled tests ). We spent another week leaving voice messages and emails together with Chris. Much like other ailments, he never returned one message nor did his supervisor. We’ve got a good deal of harm to many parts of expensive furniture along with lots of lost things, i.e., a $1,200 Movado watch. If you would like more detail send me an emailaddress. Unethical company, will rip you off

Initial quote has been 2500, today it’s 4800 for exactly the identical support. The second they receive your things picked up they won’t return your requirements and understand that you need to pay the ridiculous cost to get your things back. They’ll state that they will incorporate a shuttle truck, then another individual will bill you for this. They’ll say you only pay per pound to what’s transferred and also refund the difference whether it’s not as but they won’t. Ignore the imitation posted reviews which are favorable. Do they actually seem like actual men and women? The negative reviews are the actual ones. They WILL nozzle you. It isn’t worth the danger.

    Unethical company, do not hire

My particular experience with this particular inspector was hell. The initial quotation for my transfer was 1380. After a few no-show dates to allow them to pickup my movement, they came 6 days overdue on 12 June. As soon as they came, the drivers promised that my possessions were at least 500 pounds. Heavier than anticipated; they refused to reveal that the true weight / scale of my whole movement. They raised my cost to $1650, OK. I used not one of the storage solutions or packaging materials. It’s currently 05 July. The only replied call / returned telephone I’ve received from these was out of Shelly on 29 June. She explained that she had good information,”The movers are going to be in your house in two days, the motorists will telephone you 24-48 hours until they arrive. Make certain to have your equilibrium prepared in cash or certified check.” It’s now 6 days after and I haven’t got a telephone in Northern Van Lines or their drivers, and they don’t answer your phone or return my voicemails. If they ever deliver, I’ll follow up with this article by discussing the date where they arrive and also the condition where my possessions arrive.
This business displays their requirements (“. . .we are experiencing unusually substantial call volumes, so please leave a message…”) and doesn’t return messages.
    Emails go unanswered.
I shouldn’t have allowed this business take my possessions when they neglected to appear until 6 weeks following the scheduled pickup date. Regrettably, at the stage I was spent in a 521 deposit, which I knew I’d lose if I pinpointed. I wish I’d canceled, eaten the 500 dollars, and either sold all of my stuff or leased uhaul.

    Dishonest, poor quality

The first salesman was excellent and consistently answered the telephone Before the transfer.   The men who packed our belongings and loaded with the truck looked good and worked quickly.   The Great experience ended there.   The truck requires a Great Deal of time to arrive, along with the firm did not return my telephone calls when they had our burden.   The team who delivered that the load has been dreadful.   They appeared to have no shifting encounter.   They piled obviously tagged delicate boxes on end, boxes were destroyed, things were broken, and a figurines and ladder were lost/stolen.   When they put up the mattress , they ripped off the liner.   The items were sent to March 16, 2012 and now I have been attempting to get resolution into the damaged/lost things since then.   Additionally they over charged me by $350, which they confessed.   Amy guaranteed to charge my account the $350 but has not done so.   Neither she nor Chris will return my calls.   If she accidently answers the phone and hears it is me,” she says she is busy and claims to call back from the end of the day.   She never does.   DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.   Now, it appears that they not just offer dreadful company, but they’re unethical, and intentionally overcharged me.

RUN DON'T WALK AWAY FROM NORTHERN VAN LINES

Northern Van Lines picked up on 05/31/12.   Annual contract:”Legally long distance movers each DOT legislation have 7-21 business days to provide cross Nation.”   Last business day to send has been 06/29/12.   After Julian obtained the deposit cash he had been of no assistance Whatsoever.   Nobody at this Business answers their phone.   Shelly told me a few occasions my son’s home has been loaded on a truck at Colorado and are on its way into Michigan.   Lies.   After all, many, telephone calls and email messages, so that I eventually got a few for shipment, found in Colorado.   I heard dispatch was below the business name MCI. Northern Van Lines is a broker, although they may inform you that they Aren’t.   After all, many, many calls for MCI I heard that my son property never even left Washington state.   His property has been sitting at a storage center.   Fundamentally Northern Van Lines and MCI have been compensated $1600 to maneuver home 9.65 miles in which it sat at a storage centre for a month.   It was a filthy storage device that Everyone Can rent.   There were many heaps in the Identical unit.   We Could recover my son’s land.   We’re now starting over using a reliable moving company.   Emails to both MCI and Northern Van Lines asking a refund have been dismissed.   What a surprise. At once Northern Van Lines needed a Eugene OR address recorded in their Internet Website.   I contacted the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) to file a complaint.   The answer is:”Please note this firm Isn’t an Oregon firm, and its mention to Eugene Oregon was contested by ODOT, since the Eugene address formerly given is a empty construction.   Northern Van Lines was set OUT OF SERVICE from the USDOT on 06/01/12 and remains prohibited for interstate transport.”   Once I registered this criticism, the Eugene OR speech was eliminated from Northern Van Lines site. Additionally, I contacted the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (www.fmsca.dot.gov).   I had been advised that Northern Van Lines does not have any power to operate whatsoever. I’m thankful we Could recover my son’s possessions.   The Neighborhood dispatcher to get MCI was not the only person who told the facts; he could not locate a driver to carry this burden to Michigan.   When asked if the land could potentially sit in storage for months, then he responded yes.   I wonder if Northern Van Lines and also even the primary MCI shipment office in Colorado will tell us that?   Northern Van Lines does not care when it receives your deposit cash.   MCI isn’t much better. No option for zero stars.   Poor remains 1 celebrity. I expect everyone who has had these dreadful experiences using Northern Van Lines makes proper complaints with DOT along with the FMCSA.   That is the only way that this corporation will stop tricking people.

    WORST MOVING COMPANY

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER ! Liars and Absolutely unethical firm! You’re better off moving to a different provider even when they charge you a million bucks more, because with Northern Van Lines, you’ll wind up paying at least that much after they give you their”quote” and perform all of the smooth talking. After the sales man gets your deposit, then you’re by yourself. Chris, my point of contact provided me complimentary storage for 30 days. ( I have evidence of this deal ). But then, after all of my items were in their truck, they billed me $250 for storage! The driver won’t deliver your belongings till you cover whatever absurd amount they need, and the various departments (shipment, customer support etc.) will only bounce you about. Once they have your deposit, then they won’t return your calls or respond to your emails. Our furniture has been broken beyond repair and finally this movement has cost us far more than what we’d have needed to cover another firm. Another word of caution. They’ll indicate all of your pricey items”PBO ( Packed by proprietor )” on your inventory sheet. This usually means that they are not responsible for any harm to those products! They packaged our LCD TV, but indicated it”PBO” on the stock sheet! Absolutely disgusting and unethical customer services.  I read the mixed reviews on other sites relating to this organization and was dumb enough to think Chris – a genuine smooth talking salesman, but do not believe a word he says. Actually, I now believe that the testimonials in yelp really are a 100% TRUE. This is actually the worst moving company ever.

Avoid this company at all costs! Deceptive and Unethical!

Beware of the company.   Avoid at all costs.   They use fraudulent sales techniques to obtain Your Company and do not deliver on any of the responsibilities.   This is Undoubtedly the worst customer support I’ve ever experienced.I contracted Northern Van Lines to relocate my own merchandise out of KS to MD (~1,100 kilometers ).   After reviewing my Entire stock with Josh Willey (Partners ), I had been given a quote of $3,265.   My revised prices at the conclusion of the absurd ordeal were a bit over $6,000!   They blatantly give you a low estimate to obtain your business, completely conscious that they’ll tack on incremental prices along the way.I was advised from the two movers (Preston & Enrique) on loading afternoon in KS that my possessions would arrive at MD at”4-5″ days.   This was on June 27th.   I did not get my possessions in MD before July 13th.   So, seemingly when they say 4-5 times they actually mean 16 days.   I invested an enormous Quantity of money on hotel bookings in the meantime.   During this big gap in shipping, I was Unable to reach ANYONE in Northern Van Lines to get any Sort of upgrade on delivery.   Josh Willey Won’t phone you back after He’s accepted your deposit at the time of the initial quote.   He got your Organization and screwed you over in the process, and he hides from out here.   He’s such a slimeball.Shelley was just another unworthy Customer Service person at Northern Van Lines.   After a dozen or so messages left for her, then she eventually returned my phone, just to be absolutely no assistance at all.   Once I voiced my view of her firm, she wrapped up on me.The movers – Preston and Enrique.   Preston seems like He’s either homeless or has been only released from prison.   He whined to me the Whole day that he had been loading (just to learn afterwards ).   Enrique is a smooth personality and will be elusive and evasive Whenever You ask him a question.   Both These men are NOT to be trusted!   If they Appear in your Home, ask another crew! When my merchandise eventually came in MD there have been multiple damaged things.   They’re careless with your possessions and will only cram things everywhere to fill the trailer up.   They did not transfer our dirt bike properly so gas leaked onto our queen size mattress (they punctured the gas line).   Additionally they got that gasoline in their toes and monitored it on the carpeting of my staircase.   They broke my kids’s $150 covered wagon.   You will find multiple boxes Which Were either crushed or had big holes or rips in them.   We had several plastic bags Which Were cracked.   We had several terrace seats and other metal Items Which have considerable scratches in them.   I could continue, but you get the point.   They’ve no respect for the security of your merchandise.   The sole reason that they wrap a few things is so they can charge you more (a ridiculous sum of $) for your wrap and packaging materials. When the motorist (Tal) came on July 13, he immediately approached me and advised me that there are a”Long haul” bill because my house was a bit too much in the street.   I asked him how much, and he explained he had to phone Dispatch (another team you can never get connected with) to find out just how much.   I advised him that when it was likely to be a Substantial fee we were likely to have troubles, particularly since we’d been waiting as long for our products.   He smirked and said, “how about $250”?   I advised him that was dumb, and he actually started to haggle with me, which obviously informs me that he was only going to pocket some Excess money he gave him.   I told him we’d discuss it in the conclusion of this unload, and he consented.   Once they were completed I showed him all of the damage Brought on by the shifting of my merchandise and informed him I wasn’t paying ANY additional fees for Extended haul or other things.   He was upset, but he would inform my patience was gone and that he did not push it.   He is just another on a long list of shady characters from Northern Van Lines and their affiliates.I could continue writing (yes, there are in fact more negative remarks ), but my blood pressure is Beginning to elevate, therefore I Believe I will stop here.   Please save yourself the headaches and Don’t employ these delinquents.   You WILL regret it.   DO NOT think that the costs they inform you. . .it WILL go up.Jeff H.

    Long-distance move from Colorado
    Very poor experience so far

Up to Now, I’M VERY NERVOUS ABOUT THIS COMPANY. I advised a go for friday. They advised me that a straight up afternoon was neccessary, so we left that saturday. Friday they phoned us to tell us we would have to use up the back day. The movers never arrived up the back day either; they phoned me this day 1 hr prior to the scheduled pickup and stated they had been stuck in a different city. They stated they might come sunday between two and 4:00. I told them I needed to fly home to LA which would be quite difficult for me personally to organize, and the guy on the telephone said they’d attempt to figure out something and phone me backagain. They called. Eventually monday I talked with my sales rep Alicia, who had been quite apologetic and said that they would come do the pickup, and they’d arrange it with my own contact man at colorado who I had to locate to stick out to allow them from the machine. She said”let’s a moment and we’re going to come.” Still no choice up, they never called my contact me or person, or even called me back even when I called now. They have our deposit and credit card information. After reading those testimonials, im anxious. I will upgrade…

    Service and Communication Issues

We contracted Northern Van Lines, located in Eugene, OR for our transfer from Seattle to Phoenix. Assessing their pace to leasing a truck, gasoline and a few aid to load and unload, Northern was going the same. My spouse and I made a decision to employ them and be in a position to push the 1500 miles from our automobile individually, taking a small amount of additional time. The problems started upon our arrival in Phoenix, as it was that the announcements from the loading team, who had been otherwise quite pleasant, efficient and prompt, were extremely inaccurate. They guaranteed delivery the next week, even although the contract provides the DOT approved delivery”window” of 21 days. Upon finding out that that wasn’t likely to take place, and really the mover could not inform us at all when our possessions would come, we eventually requested them ( a customer support rep) to place it in the conclusion of the window, even after the conclusion will be OK, so our funding are set up. We’d already paid two deposits at this time. The Friday prior to the week we’d ordered for delivery, we’ve got a call in the driver ( another man on the end) who had been prepared to deliver! That weekend! After threatening to either deliver, or place our belongings in storage, he also consented to send Monday or even Tuesday. We have ready for this; he then called to say he had been taking a couple of days to get a personal errand and could call us if he got back. Repeated calls to the business at this stage weren’t returned. He showed up Thursday morning. After questioning the Western Union money orders we had been asked to cover together, he asked for and additional $118 (destination fee and carton for our mattress) and $175 for a”long haul charge”. I must mention at this stage our contract recorded a balance owed of $692.50. We did not have the additional funds, since we weren’t anticipating them, and eventually convinced the driver to depart our products on the curb away from the entrance into our apartment complex. We then transferred them, together with the very excellent help of our neighbors, in our flat and also an onsite storage device. During this procedure, the communicating with this company has been quite intermittent to inferior, and we repeatedly asked about the charges to be able to get ready with this (what was for us) costly move. The carrier, their representatives, the driver and the dispatcher consistently exhibited an attitude of take it or leave it, and I’ve seldom spent so much and received so little in the method of service. Especially in delivery, the business took the mindset that we were out to deceive them! As I write this my wife and therefore are fairly wiped out from now and the only positive is that our stuff is eventually within our flat. I’ll be going through things out carefully for any harm. M. Hart

That is a follow up to the review I wrote soon after the movers came. After attempting to hold up us for extra charges of $300, and threatening us with putting our products from storage (the contract, it ends up, says we receive 30 days of free storage) we had the Agency residue our products on the sidewalk outside our apartment complex and we all ended the move!
After two months of trying to have someone on the telephone, I gave up and am sending a detailed letter of my complaints, such as some damaged things I’ve found upon unpacking, to the Interstate Commerce Commission, the Arizona Attorney General, the Better Business Bureau, along with the American Moving and Storage Association.
This specific Northern Van Lines is located in Eugene, OR and I advise that you select somebody else.

Description of services provided by Northern VanLines

The transfer has been from Washington state, to Illinois, 2200 milesper hour Alicia and I talked completely the quote with respect to size, bits of artwork, TV’s, and whatever requiring special packaging, like wrap the couch, boxing TV’s, etc., as a consequence the quote has been quite near the real prices The crew had been prompt, courteous, and effective in packaging and loading the vehicle. The dispatch was also delivered on time directly into our storage shed as described. Alicia represented the firm, their skills, and their support quite openly and frankly I’d recommend their services.

    Overall excellent and easy

I’m happy that I moved with Northern.   The pickup was straightforward and fast, plus they completely clarified everything.   Scheduling shed has been also quite Straightforward.   Pricing is as aggressive as could be and that I find no reason for me personally to proceed with almost any other mover when I actually need to hire a Business again.   These guys are legit and also understand what they’re doing.

    5 Star Customer Service

I obtained a quote for this movement that wasn’t only supplied quite fast but was also the cheapest based on an specific dispatch of house furnishings at a really special weight.  Though my inability to extend a pick up speech in the time of my arrangement resulted in a confusion, 1 telephone the office uttered a direct response  by a manager, corrected the issues and obtained my return back on the right track. I’ve moved with specialist movers previously and they never move entirely smoothe but I have not received such a speedy reaction to get problems solved and what back on course. The business represenative wasn’t just professional and considerate but reacted directly and frankly about what had caused the issues and solved them inside a matter of 15 minutes.  When the driver came I found him to be professional and considerate.  The employees were professional and clean and managed my house with care.  This provider has got a 5 star rating due to their client support, so far as I’m concerned.  Kudos.

    Excellent Company

I moved with Northern Vanlines in my latest move in Denver Co into Chattanooga Tn and I had been quite pleased with the service. I hadn’t ever moved using a complete service moving company before so I had no idea how it functioned. I coped with a gentleman called julian who had been very professional and took my time with me until I was comfortable with my choice. The real movers showed up about the afternoon I’d asked and were also very professional and knew exactly what they were doing. Shipping was roughly the same that they showed up on time and took very good care of my possessions. I honestly didnt expect it to go as easy as it did. I would recommend this business to any person looking to proceed with a complete service firm.

    Great Experience with This Company

I reserved my households go to South Carolina Chris in Northern Van Lines, after checking with the BBB and studying the Excellent reviews from previous clients.

This was no small accomplishment, we moved out of a three bedroom house, and we’d gathered alot of stuff with 3 children. . .Chris walked me through every measure, also was there when I phoned to ask questions. This made me feel less worried about the entire thing.

The business known as the day before and gave me a time period that the movers are there, and they had been on time.
They have been professionial, courteous and efficent. Packed and loaded all in record time.

Chris, our earnings man called the following day merely to see if we had anything. Very thoughtful man.

The movers called 2 weeks after to deliver the following day, they had been there on time and unloaded, place our items where we needed and set the beds ect. . Collectively, Our household was really impressed, I’ll USE NORTHERN VAN LINES IF I EVER MOVE AGAIN

    They were amazing

When I was searching for a great moving company, my buddy Trego educated me concerning Northern Van Lines. So I hired them and now I am very glad I have hired them. They were simply wonderful. Each 3 movers (tim, yaniv and preston) came on the time and exactly what they did was just outstanding. They packed, transferred and saved all like real professionals. It was a treat seeing them in action. I also loved the way that they interacted with my 3 year-old kid. I’m more than impressed with them. I’d definitely like to urge them.

My Move from Oregon to Texas

My experience started with northern van lines urge, Chris.  He offered me a quotation, was professional and patient when I phoned him a few times to alter the quantity of boxes that I had been going along with requoted me that the quote, describing that it may change up or down after the true weight was decided. Chris sent me that a set of”Ninja” movers together with staff direct, Tim.  My loved ones and I were thrilled they were so friendly, professional and hardworking.  They proceeded like a sleek well-oiled”Ninja” device from starting to finish.  They initially arrived at our house to pick up the very first batch of items, also took great pains to make sure they did not track mud in our home — welcome to Oregon it had been raining!  They then followed me into our storage building to find out another half.  In both cases, they wrapped up everything in blankets and recorded up so closely, nothing could happen to harm anything. I must confess , I was very nervous first about how to locate a good, reliable moving business, then believed how can I expect this person/people once I really don’t understand anything except what is written about these and when they’d respect what they explained, could my matters even arrive?? Can they inform me upon delivery it’d be tens of thousands of dollars over that I understood?? Nevertheless, again, it was a lovely, yes, lovely encounter as far as a movement throughout the country may be!  :-RRB-   the quotation Chris gave me was correct on target! That left my day since I was still worried about that region of the process.Thank you, Chris, Tim and northern van outlines for taking such great care of my loved ones!  I Will Certainly recommend Different households to you!    Yours, pleasure Kovacs
