Moved from the date range given. Movers were very proficient at either ends. Employed a local inspector, Jacobsen’s, located in LaCrosse, WI to load my possessions for a transfer to Prescott, AZ.. Everything came in great shape –not just one thing missing or broken. Don’t charge me extra for moving in bigger truck to a bigger truck at destination, so that I was pleasantly amazed.
They were just on time to picking up and transportation. They took great care of my items, I watched that they even wrapped some things again for security. Nothing has been broken and my items came early (anticipated from april 11th to 30th, came at the 13th!) . Both picking up and delivery crews were professional and respectful. I’d suggest them to anybody creating an interprovincial go for certain.
All facets of the semi loading move went really well. Both finish movers, such as third party solutions for big glass thing were punctually and quite expert, no scratches, dents, or damage to any merchandise.
Partial load required somewhat longer for shipping than called, but not dumb.
Cost was the greatest quoted but worthwhile for its outcomes.
The procedure was straightforward, clear and on stage every trade from the planner Renee into the Agency Jose. Really organized, tidy, attentive and respectful. They fulfilled all of our expectations and we’re greatful to their on time delivery
I spent several hours working on a promise for lost/broken/stolen household products which were transferred by Roger Ward North American Van Lines at Minot, ND, to our brand new house at Nine Mile Falls, WA, in May 2012. I submitted numerous kinds, photographs, etc., as I progressed through the several measures of this mediation procedure all the way on the top at which I paid $300 for a forum (like a lawyer) to convene. At every level, we obtained one letter of refusal following another signed by those who do not even have to sacrifice their last names (i.e., Katie S., CindyB.) . If this review deters a single potential client from using this Business’s services, It’s Going to have been nearly worthwhile to me. We’re in our late 60s and my spouse is a 100 percent disabled veteran and North Amerian Van Lines was chosen by the Department of Veterans Affairs to our relocation afterwards we decided to move nearer to both brothers. Being a disabled vet, he allegedly got a reduction for the transfer. We had one individual from Roger Ward North American, the local moving company, visit our house one time, but soon after that, he took a job elsewhere, so we had little or no purpose of contact or advice for our relocation. We did our very own packaging and, according to the kind signed by both parties, so our household goods were insured for $10,000. Four guys from Roger Ward arrived to pick up our family products, but their semi-truck had broken up in Oklahoma, so everything had to be hauled in their warehouse before it had been fixed. Many individuals had access for their own warehouse and we think that it had been there boxes were opened and items were stolen from these and resealed, which could have been quite simple to accomplish. Four members of our household were here to get our household products when they came, but we wouldn’t get to WA until nearly 3 weeks afterwards awaiting the selling of our home at ND to shut. Besides our own furniture, we had over 300 boxes, however, family members were not permitted to test them off to the types as they were introduced in (the driver said that could take all afternoon and he did not have time). Throughout the procedure, we discovered things missing and broken. Most notably missing was my own jewellery box, which comprised mine along with my mum’s wedding rings (my mom passed away in 1960 when I was 16 years old), all of my sterling silver, purple, aluminum, and other bands, Seiko watch, Black Hills Gold jewellery, jade charms, and lots of keepsakes. My husband had bought the jewellery box at Taiwan and we publish the packaging box it was in was cut available someplace during the transfer, the jewellery box lifted out, and also the box retaped. We said that there is just no other excuse. We discovered that the stitched underside for it in a box that I had been unpacking and sent images of it together with our promise. We filed a traditional claim of $3,053.27 to our lost/broken/stolen products. Our claim was refused at every level. Believe me, they will get a reason to deny your claim along with the last refusal of the claim has been written in legalese that it might require a rocket scientist to comprehend. Do not even bother to file a claim–or even better, do not select North American Van Lines at the first location.
Horrendous – this is the grade of support that I purchased from North American Van Lines. This is why: they badly damaged my dining room table. I’d given explicit directions about the best way best to manage it but what I said went entirely disregarded. They sent my bookcase using a huge gouge in it. A glass image frame has been ruined, in addition to quite a few eyeglasses. Eventually, among those dresser drawers has been delivered with no own handles.
The packers were fine folks, but had not been told that they were also predicted to load my possessions onto the toilet. They hadn’t brought the essential packaging gear for a outcome. That caused significant and unnecessary strain. The business wasn’t able to provide me a crystal clear shipping date: a two week window turned to three months. Every one of the people I coped with tried to be effective but the general lack of business and ability, together with the damage to my possessions, made my expertise with NorthAmerican Van Lines quite disagreeable.
Caution, warning, caution. Beware of this filthy clinic the inspector uses. It nauseates and disgusts me deeply every time I think about our expertise with this inspector — North American Van line. They badly scraped our sanity illness Ethan Allen fine necklace as well as a complete table and we may do nothing about it since they place”scrapes high, side, edge, left, leg…” harm codes if there were not enough. On the loading afternoon, the mover/driver scribbled down plenty of codes for Each piece of furniture. At the moment, I’d wonder what was he writing so fast but did not wish to”waste” his time interrupting. Never did it occur to us that he had been blindly writing the harm codes for Each piece of furniture even when there were no damages since he never ever took a glimpse at any portion of our whole load. He set down each potential damage code unique to every sort of furniture for each and every thing within our whole shipment to pay their [EDIT]. Then, attempting to be as much as you can, I hastened and misread the column tag of”CONDITION AT ORIGIN” because”CONTENT AT ORIGIN” therefore that I didn’t question what these codes intended. To make the issue worse, we couldn’t be present to get our dispatch so that my younger kid did for us. After he pointed out regarding the damages in the receiving time, he advised me that it had been suggested on the Inventory as ruined so that my son Couldn’t dispute it since he did not know which was accurate. Allowed it is my error not taking the time to carefully read the newspapers before placing John Hancock on the dotted line, nevertheless it is despicable to allow them to practice company such as that. I repent I paid them great tips contrary to my son’s conscience. Although I did explore a Whole Lot about hiring a plumber but not read any customer said in the way they practice the harm codes program. I’d put off writing this review since I was so sickened with that. Now I have narrowed enough to set out this, I just expect this review will help keep many potential clients from falling into this trap. My loss will act as your profit. Better luck to the moving.
On. Transfer from NJ to Florida,” They underestimated my house contents, divide the cargo and today, almost a month after, I am still waiting for the remainder of my furniture 7000, office desk worth $2k, Weber grill worth $1800, treadmill value $4500and spinal traction support apparatus and even more to appear. Just having a run across when I phone or email the csr! Nothing however BS lies and explanations! I am out around $18,000 in materials. STAY AWAY from these!
NAVL came late and introduced a truck which was way too tiny. Did not bring packaging materials.
2nd day another truck- again too tiny.
Didnt place mattresses in cartons.
Late to deliver at destination
A Few of the items unloaded were not ours
A number of margarine and damaged things
Customer service folks were incompetant
Locate another mover!!!!!!
I transferred out of Sherman Oaks (LA) into the WDC region in April 2017. North American Van Lines hauled my products cross country. I’d the Protection Plan and paid just under $13,000 to possess my possessions hauled from 1 stage to another. This’ s the issue: Some products were missing. In spite of a video shot just prior to the movement revealing the missing things, North American refused to honor the promise. The things did not appear on the stock form since North American’s affiliate didn’t correctly note the things on the stock sheet along with the security program didn’t protect me.
North American didn’t honor my claim to get broken crystal glasses (irreplaceable) since the flames came to the destination. I appealed the denial but North American hadn’t any curiosity about different kinds of evidence although we had been under contract.
I seriously contemplated legal action however, the price of legal representation could have outweighed my reduction.
Cross country move from NY to Idaho. An expert pleasant woman arrived at the NY home, gave us a quotation, also told us whether we packaged specific things like our clothing and our TVs, we’d save a few of those 22,000 quoted. We requested for a complete pack outside.
When the packers came, they did 2/3 of those packaging, used left over boxes stored out of our final move (billed for brand new ones), then hit the street without completing the packaging.
When we came at Idaho, they wouldn’t unpack before we gave them a certified test for 22,000 bucks. No alterations were made. We had been advised to contact customer services. After we could speak with a person, we were advised that we’d signed up a”Guaranteed” quote. Guaranteed that they get 22,000 regardless of what they supply or don’t provide. Thus, we paid to get a complete package out, obtained a partial pack outside, they utilized our boxes and billed us to get brand new ones, there were at least 7 calls to client support free of reimbursement /resolution. Additionally, Our 5000.00 desk is ruined, however, needless to say, it’s recorded as ruined prior to packaging. Not correct.
North American nations” they really don’t have anything to do with the movement, Beltman is accountable for all that occurs.” Why have client support in the event the solution is to wash your hands of all that occurs? This all screams scam to us. Blaming the clients all of the way and taking our cash for POOR support.
The only decent part of the was that the team who unpacked in idaho worked really hard and did his or her very best.
Shipper advised of addl delivery and load delay AFTER that which was packaged. Shipper”cushioned” invetory with 8 boxes, however, did not subtract from complete, even after talking. Things were not packed properly and surgically divided (guitar), classic items were thrown around, dressers were sent face into wall, broken items were concealed in cabinets, rather than notated, lots of 1/2 empty boxes had been utilized, lots of unmarked boxes, and several boxes delivered to incorrect locations, pc devices/cords were split from components. Was advised that there could be an extra $3,000 fee to send cargo even once I verified with primary office that this wouldn’t happen.
We transferred out of Texas to California and paid more than 18k. This included a month of storage in Texas which cost roughly $4k.
Everything went apparently smoothly before our objects were delivered.
Virtually all significant parts of furniture have been damaged. Huge cracks in our brand-new dining table, legs peeled off fresh nightstands, chips on corners and edges of everything.
We moved through promises and obtained $5k ago and are now the proud owners of ruined everything.
Can NOT advocate using northAmerican Van Lines unless you do not care about your own stuff.
My responsibilities and rights were not clarified. As soon as I pointed out rug damage which the movers triggered, the manager came outside and informed the driver”I am outta here, you deal with him”. I bought full replacement value with a zero deducible. No matter how the movers refuse to take any liability for damage to woodwork, carpets, and furniture since I didn’t annotate damages to the receipt of shipping form. There’s not enough time to scrutinize the whole residence and materials while the motorist is pushing the shipping form at one to register. If anybody uses this moving business make certain to do a through review of your house and possessions regardless of how much time it requires the driver and team to stay. Don’t feel the motorist when he lets you know which you’ve got 90 days to submit a claim. North American will just pay you in the event that you mention the damages to the shipping form. Additionally, in the event you ask whether the movers may pick up your empty boxes, then don’t believe them if they say that you could merely call to get a refuse pickup. There’s a 200 dollar fee for this support. Get everything in writing from the business. In case you’ve got additional options, seriously look at a different inspector.
I’ve moved over 12 days in the previous 14 decades. My cross country move last month has been the very first time that I used North American Van Lines. It’ll be my very last time with them. They dropped several things, broke several different things, such as a sentimental and signed sculpture. I filed a claim with recorded photographs, and they refused to pay a penny about the lost and broken products. I even purchased additional insurance together to the transfer. These men may gouge you at each turn, then provide you the rigid arm afterwards which shed and break your own items. Stay away from them in your next movement.
We chose North American Van Lines since they gave us a fantastic quote along with the sales man was fine. They were dreadful. They chased our transfer. The dawn of this transfer the driver advised us that all our stuff wouldn’t be moving on precisely the exact same truck. They chose up to much material at the very first stop. But stated no worries that your stuff is going to be placed on another truck and all will be OK. It was not fine. The very first truck arrived in great time but the next truck did not leave Florida before the date our contract stated all could be sent. We obtained the majority of our things fourteen days afterwards. We had no clothing and after we contacted our movers that they said not our problem telephone company offices. Well I did and 2 weeks after am still waiting for a manager to call me back because according to these garments are not essentials. I had a funeral to go to and my spouse had a job interview that we both had to purchase new clothing for and they do not care. The movers that packed the truck made my,house a wreck. I had a buddy lock up and they abandoned McDonald wrappers and headphones everyrwhere. They stole chicken wings I had in my freezer to get the buddy. They stole a test I’d left in a draw and that I needed to set a stop payment on and we did not get brand-new fishing rods and also my piggy bank never revealed. We’d hurt to substance. I really don’t whine it is not within my character. I hate to take action. However, this organization is awful. If I were able to stop 1 individual from utilizing this business it’s well worth it. They provide you with a fantastic price. The sales guy is fine but than they’ve you and then nobody cares. Worst movers ever.
Here are the next complaints that I voiced to the moving business within my delay of assurance type. They denied my claim since I had been a little load. 1) I had been advised that my possessions would be sent between June 26th and July 7th. My possessions didn’t arrive till July 17th, 10 days late, that is completely unacceptable. University moving understood about my burden needing to be sent to Bozeman, MT between June 26th and July 7th because late March. 2) Though my possessions were likely to be cautiously researched and loaded on the truck in my initial destination, maybe not all of my possessions were numbered. After the movers arrived, I kept grabbing the movers loading unnumbered boxes. A Few of the things Which Were delivered in my new flat were never researched and also the delivery driver noticed that if he loaded my possessions at the warehouse for shipping. 3) Though I had been advised before I signed the contract which my possessions would be loaded right on the truck which could take my possessions for their final destination, so my possessions were loaded onto a smaller truck and taken to a warehouse to be assigned a motorist. 4) The movers in my previous flat came 2 hours following the assigned time window and were totally oblivious to transfer me. They didn’t bring the necessary tie downs to secure my belongings in the vehicle. I needed to push among those movers to Ace Hardware to select rope to fasten my possessions. Furthermore, they didn’t fetch the mattress boxes which I asked to safeguard my brand-new mattress and box spring that hadn’t been transferred. My bed and box spring had been packed into the truck discovered causing them to arrive in my new flat coated in dirt and grass stains. Both of these activities are completely unsuitable for a professional moving company. 5) In my previous flat, the movers broke my own laundry stand when loading it in the truck. Then they claimed that it had been broken up when they filled it and then that they didn’t split it. I advised them that this wasn’t correct. Why would I wish to transfer something which has been broken? They didn’t apologize or provide some other way of accepting accountability. When they arrived in the warehouse that they coated the split in duct tape. 6) I had been charged the entire amount (a bit over $3444) in my charge card. Since I had been under in my own weight, I’m due a payoff. Considering that the dispatch is really late, I’ll be charged interest on the sum due back to me because it requires North American Van Lines 45 days following delivery to offer reimbursement. It’s dishonest for me to be billed extra cash because North American Van Lines postponed my shipment also contains a very slow settlement procedure. 7) The broker told me that I could personalize my delivery customs, that wasn’t Correct. 8)The broker said that he’d be the main contact on the accounts during the whole moving process. Rather, a customer support representative became the first on the accounts after the contract had been signed.
North American Van Lines couldn’t take all of our household products so they simply took what might fit on the vehicle. This delivery was on time, however, the remaining household things aren’t everywhere in sight. Their office stated they could be sent by 6-27 whereas the very first delivery was on 6-19. The local representative is pointing fingers at the corporate office and the corporate office is pointing fingers in the local representative. I have told them it’s you trouble not a me issue. Their customer support is a joke. . .still awaiting a callback (two weeks ) Totally disappointed!
We obtained several estimates from various moving companies but chose to proceed with North American because we had been confident that the price wouldn’t be greater, we’d have superior provider, and our possessions are loaded on the truck which was led into our destination. The agent came to our house and looked in all of our possessions and stated I overestimated by 1,000 lbs so the price shouldn’t be more- it might be less though.
We signed….the evening ahead of our possessions were to be loaded we had been advised that the truck had been at another state so our items would need to be loaded on a separate truck and place into storage for a couple days- exactly what they said wouldn’t occur.
Then when phoning to discover if our items will arrive we had been advised that our possessions were divided into two shipments because they didn’t contract a truck large enough. We were also notified that the true fat was 3,100 pounds longer (30 percent missed quote – which isn’t okay!) Than estimated that meant we owed $2500 more! We weren’t asked if we’d like to wait for get all possessions delivered together, let alone informed – I needed to perform each of the calling/emailing to locate out anything!
A number of our boxes have been ruined, furniture scraped , wood chipped etc..
Our next shipment came 12 days following the previous day that our items were likely to arrive. We’re missing things and they’re still lacking with little to no communication regarding what’s being done to locate them or resolve this.
I wouldn’t recommend this business to anybody. We’ve been on the phone several occasions and nobody appears to care. Terrible customer support and overall support…
I contacted the local business for southern vanlines in march 2012 to get a movement july 30 2012. The moving planner” Roy Peterson seen my property. He explained how amazing navl was as a organization and how fantastic he had been as a moving expert. He explained he’d been in the Company for over 30 Decades. I trusted and believed him. This was the ONLY time that I observed from Roy or his team in Beltman Group INC at Lenexa KS. Over the pick-up I called to determine when pickup would occur. On shipping date I called to find out what time obstruct my furniture could arrive. At the point BELTMAN advised me that my furniture wouldn’t be coming until 8 days after than contracted!! Wow excellent communicating North American Van Lines and Beltman Group Inc.. I’d have never understood concerning the delay unless I’d phoned them. I’m a really unhappy client and guess what? Still have not heard from either organization. What a loser! I have been outside of my house as July 30 and won’t get my furniture till aug 17. . .well unless it is changed. .
I’m a retired educator after 27years of support. Can I as a teacher done like these firms I believe I’d have yet to be employed. It is too bad that firms can eliminate crap such as this.
We had been going out of Washington state to Pennsylvania. They signed a contract with us for shipping for two homes between the 8th-13th of May 2019. They delivered a part of their first family. They have not delivered another portion of our dispatch yet. The day of the transfer, the driver told me that North American had contacted him the day before he was planning to pick up the whole household. They assigned him to a movement from the state of Michigan which meant he could not pick up our whole family as contractually agreed upon. The motorist said they’d even tried to get him to postpone picking up the whole movement for two weeks. This wasn’t feasible as we’d made arrangements for kids, jobs and resort reservations along the way. The driver said he’d take the burden to a few of those Pennsylvania houses and also the 2nd load could be warehoused for 1-2 days prior to delivery to the 2nd property. North American has still not sent the load into the next home 10 days following their deadline. The driver of the 2nd load called to inform us that the regional North American affiliate was not able to provide moving assistance for May 23rd ( as promised) so the truck will probably sit for 24 hours .The complete shipment for your first home wasn’t delivered as promised. There are a whole lot of things which have never been delivered ( things I mentioned previously and others). Due to the poor logistical preparation by North American, we needed to lease a U-Haul truck to maneuver numerous heavy things which were delivered into the wrong home, which my 64 year-old husband had to proceed. They haven’t delivered my wedding gown ( sentimental value), shoes, winter jackets and Payton Manning jerseys! Some glassware was divided in addition to a few of the image frames. A number of my clothes were packaged with non-clothing things ( television foundation and light bulbs). We needed to buy our toddler clothing, air beds for them to sleep on as their beds still have yet to be delivered, toys for your toddlers and toddlers together with kitchen utensils to cook and eat with. The communicating with the firm have been dreadful. The afternoon after the transfer, we contacted the company to get a date to the 2nd shipment. They advised us that they had been not able to deliver a driver for two more weeks. When we asked them what our mother and daughter were assumed to reside, they advised us they would”supply” air beds and silverware but made no mention of clothes or bedding. They haven’t contacted us to inform us since the standing of our products; we’ve been calling them several times simply to receive any info. They billed us $17,800 to get this kind of service! Don’t under any circumstances ever apply these guys.
You will find many areas of this movement that were badly managed. To begin with, we’d hired them to also package our possessions but the packers hurried left and through with many things still unpacked, therefore we needed to do a little bit of packing ourselves. A variety of things were also lost (supposed to be stolen) like a bicycle and notebook computer. The worst part was that the severe delay in our shipping that they refused to compensate us for. We had been awarded a quite wide shipping window but then after we came in our new home we had been advised that the shipping window was transferred up for reasons out of the control. Nonetheless, these motives, like it being an global move along with the existence of vacations, were all known things before if we had been given the shipping window. The also used”that the access to Canadian habits” as a justification even though habits would be always accessible and I honestly doubt they’d even contacted them nonetheless as our material was still sitting at a warehouse now. Our car was also separated from our loved ones products at this stage since they had my work license to send it. I was just informed of the a couple of days prior to the shipment was likely to occur and afterwards told that it had been my fault for not understanding that a work license was required to send a vehicle. I maintain that understanding what paperwork is required is a portion of the movers occupation and a few reason I paid a plumber to perform this particular job. When we began to inquire about how settlement was managed for delay of delivery our relocation coordinator didn’t answer and began entirely avoiding us, not answering any mails where we brought up the topic rather than returning telephone calls. When the car finally arrived 19 days late (still 14 days following their brand new window) it had been dropped off in a warehouse. I had been told that we might be known as 1 or 2 days ahead of shipping, but rather we had been called after the automobile had already been dropped off. When I registered for a delay at the household products (that were a day late even by the new deadline) I had been told that they just compensate for particular actual costs which I didn’t incur or have receipts for, that is completely unfair since they refused to offer me these advice prior hand. As soon as I filed a claim to my rental car expenses I had been told that they had no obligation because they’d utilized a third party to send the vehicle, despite the fact that my contract to have the car sent was with NAVL. I contacted my transfer coordinator who advised me that this very long delay was because I didn’t have my job visa once he asked (I did not have it yet, but did ship it the afternoon our stuff had been presumed to be affluent, just a couple of hours later I crossed the boarder and obtained it) and that there would be no compensation for the automobile delivery being delayed by several months.
My driver stated that he was showing up on 6/7 to load my furniture to get a transfer to Florida from North Carolina. Obviously he did not appear. The shipping disperse in my contract was 6/8 – 6/15. Now they’re hoping to load on 6/17 and send 6/19. I’m told I receive no reimbursement for this delay. Should they wait till Christmas to send I don’t believe there’s anything that I could do about it. Beware of the company!!
I am a 100% disabled veteran and hired North AMERICAN van traces with there handicapped reduction.
Tim Mento stated he consistently quotes high & he anticipated 10,000#’s using a cost of about $10,000.00. I advised tim my things required to visit storage before I could construct a pole barn to keep it in on my vacant bunch! Tim request me to get the address to get the empty bunch, of course I gave it to him, but said there is nothing there, storage has been necessary before the pole barn was constructed!
Following the trk had been loaded the driver said that he had been led into the scales to burden my load. A few days later that I spoke to Tim & he said that my stuff will be sent in a couple of days? I advised him it had to enter storage… he began saying something about a change order? Still do not understand exactly what a change sequence is, but it must happen to be led to storage?
I emailed Tim requesting the weight, no response?
I emailed him a few times in the subsequent weeks? No response?
My stuff was sent into a storage device which I leased (could not get pole barn constructed ) and when I ask the men unloading to the storage device when they understood just how much weight there was, so they did not understand?
NOT SURE WHY THE WEIGHT WAS SUCH A BIG SECRET?
About 45 days after requesting the weight out of Tim and Holly and following delivery I eventually got a response? It had been nearly 4,000# than the quote!
A few weeks after I call to your complete & was told that they do not have it? What? Said it will be a few more weeks! I phone back after a few weeks and the woman said I’d overpaid by about $2,000!
A few days after I receive a call from Tim stating I owed the nearly $2000.00 & ripped it fm my charge card?
As I SAID I’M 100% DISABLED FROM VIETNAM AND WE’RE STILL BEING TREATED LIKE DIRT AND STEPPED ON CAUSE THEY CAN! I believe RIPPED OFF FROM A COMPANY THAT HAS DISABLED VETERAN DISCOUNTS! WHAT A JOKE!
I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND NO VETERAN USE NORTH AMERICAN VAN LINES, KEYSTONE MOVING AND STORAGE, COLEMAN MOVING & STORAGE OR ANY OTHER MOVING COMPANY ASSOCIATED WITH NORT AMERICA VAN LINES…
We transferred out of LA to Austin. Each and every facet of the move was dreadful. The bunch job was awful. . .they did not package everything…I needed to proceed boxes..they forgot things. . .our earnings rep cussed me out. . .the primary office we worked with out of Oxnard was utterly curable. . .they broke several things upon transport. . .they took two days to float. . .they forgot, lost, or stole my kid’s movie games. . .lost many personal products. . .and ruined our flooring.
Now..to chemical this we stuffed a promise for those games, overlooking dish..and flooring, the real nightmare started. The insurer claimed that because of the simple fact that we signed up the dispatch doc (the afternoon that they unload the vehicle ). . .we agreed that the things IN the boxes have been sent in total. That can be a sneaky way to allow them to get round reimbursing missing things. We’d 230 boxes. . .and interior these 230 boxes are our things. It’s not possible to understand what’s missing before you dig in.
Following 4 weeks of back and so forth. . .we are still battling, which is their way from repairing any damage or lost items.
Before selecting North American Van Lines think about the next –
1. If You Don’t unpack every box, then your claims have been unworthy
2. If You Don’t have receipts for any lost stuff, your claims have been futile
3. They’ll require 45 days a”entry” to react – the target being to put you back down to this stage you do not overlook these things anymore
4. The service was so dreadful with every group blaming another for problems. Truck team attributed that the packers, packers attributed the truck group. Corporate blames Truck and Packing staff.
5. Unless You Wish to package a few of your own items or Need to Handle the movers since they’re”exhausted” in the end of the day, then don’t use this Provider
6. Whatever you register. . .which you need to sign. . .exempts them away from any liability
Nobody is accountable. I’ve read Yelp testimonials earlier previously which you just look at….and believe”it can not be that bad” If you examine my own profile, then you may see I seldom write a terrible review for whatever. I might have 1 or two.
Avoid this company in any respect costs….or 3-4 months from today. . .be prepared to compose your pitiful narrative online too.
Zero liability. . .bad support through out the Procedure. . .horrible customer care. . .and a continuous objective of attempting to escape from fixing any issues with loop holes.
North American was the worst business to pick for our relocation, and that I wanted I transferred myself because I might have done a much better job. The whole experience from begin to finish was gloomy, and they can care less about you when they have your cash! If you would like to avoid with a horrible movement, read our narrative, and utilize anybody but North American Van Lines!!
We had been going from CT to CA and so were moving out of a three bedroom home to a 1 bedroom flat so that we had very little to proceed. We still had to cover the minimal weight (that we knew ), but each time we talked to them that they kept emphasizing that it was such a little shipment (such as it was in hassle )….if anything, we just gave them our money, therefore they ought to have been glad it turned out to be a little trade.
They were supposed to arrive in 12PM to find out our products, and in 1PM I phoned them to find the status. “Oh, ma’am I am sorry but they are running late, they ought to be there in another hour”. Alright, I know if you are running late, but you ought to allow the customer know rather than getting the customer track you down.
From the contract I stated that I wanted the burden of our dispatch, and they never gave it to me so that they violated the contract (unprofessional).
Following 10 days of hearing nothing about where our stuff was, I called the girl I had been working with who advised me that they’d be there in two days and that the driver would phone me the day before to confirm everything. From 5PM the following day, I still hadn’t heard anything so I called them and they proceeded to inform me that they have only”been very active” and that someone could be there the following day in 12PM and would phone me if they had been an hour off.
On the day that they were supposed to send my products, by 3PM, I still hadn’t heard from anybody. They were supposed to arrive in 12PM, therefore was anxious. I phoned again to confirm the status and the MANAGER I talked with said”hmmm that’s odd, allow me to call him and check and I will get back to you”. From 5PM neither the supervisor NOR the motorist calls me. So, I telephone back the Manager and he states”The motorist is actually active and can not deliver your items until tomorrow today”. There’s a lot of things wrong with that, I can not even consider it. Primarily, the Manager must have called me back, I should not have needed to track him down. Second, the motorist ought to have informed me WELL earlier 5PM that he was no more coming. He eventually calls me at 9PM to inform me he’ll be here in 12PM the next day….His justification for being late….he informs me that North American LOST MY FILE! Lost my document? This is just getting absurd.
At 12PM the DAY AFTER they had been supposed to send it, he still hasn’t arrived. I predict the driver personally who behaves annoyed that I am phoning him and he states that he will be here in 4PM!
FINALLY, they arrive in 5PM and there was 3 people shifting our items…two adults and one TEENAGER. A teen transferring our precious items up 3 tales that DROPS them in our feet when he gets to our flat. Completely untrue and unacceptable.
One by one, as they fall off our products we discover that EVERYTHING….yes, EVERYTHING is ruined. Our TELEVISION was lost and totally crushed, our lamp was lost, the sofa has gashes around it, the couch seat is missing a leg that makes it futile, the rear of our desk was in bits, the dresser panels were falling off, and the mattress box spring is broken, and all of our boxes which stated delicate on it had been dented in. Most of all, our PlayStation 3 has been totally STOLEN! It was the sole box which was missing as well as the ONLY box which people tagged”playstation3″. Using a TEENAGER moving in our products, it is totally obvious that they stole it….They’re guidance for the way to solve the issue? A police record….which that we FULLY intend to document.
Their compensation for our damages doesn’t replicate the treatment we’ve received along with the number of damages our products suffered, and we mean to inform EVERYONE we understand and talk to this North American is the worst company to use.
We proceed again in 8 weeks and will be preventing North American Van Lines….and you need to to!
I’d give them 0 stars if I could. I’ve utilized NA many occasions and never again. Disassembled a classic table – completely ruined. Broke classic desk although it was marked brittle. Broke lawn mower that I had only fixed. Assembled bed with no wheels so today I get to perform it. Left feet onto the sectional unattached. Took apart something that I don’t have any idea what AFTER they moved the furniture in. Broke bike. Broke hall tree. Broke a different desk. Boxes were upside down or on their own side. Helped themselves to my frig without inquiring. Google their testimonials BEFORE you register. You’ll discover that they are pitiful. You’ll also find they don’t cover claims! Disgraceful firm! GO UNITED!!!!!
Their workers stole my private information including my SS group, my sons SS along with his dads SS number. They stole taxation returns, medical info, divorce documents, my kid cutody newspapers. My workout tapes, private photographs, puzzles, etc.. DO NO TRUST THEM. I WAS TOLD THEY DID A TRACE AND Can’t FIND I. In Addition to SAYING IT WAS NOT ON THE INVENTORY LIST. I PACKED EVERY BOX. VERY SUSPICIOUS THAT THE BOX THAT HAD MY PERSONAL INFORMATION IS THE ONLY ONE MISSING.
Complete worst moving business. “Grant” the sales rep I have been coping is very disrespectful and advised me to quit calling him. It has been 11 days and I have not gotten an upgrade. Highly irresponsible and would not recommend. His boss will not actually answer his phone, and his mailbox is full so that is very good.
BIGGEST MISTAKE I HAVE EVER MADE!!!! There were things missing and damaged when the truck came. I filed a claim over seven months ago. It’s intolerable trying to have paid for the damaged items. I paid $9,000 to get a Complete packing and unpacking service. They didn’t perform the unpacking – my husband and I did. I’m still waiting to be paid for things which they know they dropped. Don’t use this business. They’re fast to Receive your cash and quite slow to assist you whenever They’ve lost or damaged your property.
The packers employed by this business never packaged more than $1000.00 value of children’s toys which were found in a playroom within my property. Each of the toys have been for 3-7 year old kids. A few of the toys have been out of the 1970’s and so are equally valuable as collectibles. We believe that the female packers packed the toys to boxes, then put the sticks into a van they’d left in our garage. The boxes were not inventoried, therefore the moving company won’t pay the reduction as missing stock. As a warning to other people, never depart packers independently in your home and carefully track each of their moves. Don’t presume that a reliable moving company hires fair workers. Clearly this firm didn’t.
The European Van lines moving business lacks of honesty, they don’t own a great preparation nor direction of imports, they delayed our delivery 4 occasions, we spent over 20 times with no furniture, they’re not proficient in arranging a dispatch with all the motorists, and they consistently state that they have lack of drivers…
In conclusion, avoid this company at some costs, honesty is essential in this sort of endeavor and they lack of honesty… Don’t use the North American Van lines to proceed, if you’d like to be familiar with no anxiety nor pity only move on your own!!! Or simply start looking for a different more respectful and faithful firm however NEVER THE North AMERICAN VAN LINES…
Terrible firm. They lie to you concerning prices, the time and day which they will deliver your possessions. They scratched the huge majority of our possessions. There were not any shifting blankets to the vast majority of the products. I won’t ever use them again. I certainly urge that nobody use them!
Movers in boston were fantastic however salesman lied about us with empty truck. The truck needed half a load already on it and they could not match all our belongings. We did not get our things for 17 days. When stuff has been delivered it had been ruined which they do not wish to cover even though we chose out the priciest insurance. I cant think in this day and age that a huge company like this would deal with a paying client. In addition they possess allied movers so be cautious!
I recently moved out of San Jose, CA into Oregon. The broker that I contracted w/ subbed from the transfer to Allied with no understanding before the day prior to the move where time I’d one afternoon to vacate the home or I’d have been required to pay a few months rent.
They had 3 loads about the vehicle such as mine. I researched with tags together with my new speech, not possible to mess that up. Nevertheless, they did. 1 load moved into Reno, NV, yet another moved to Idaho. When they arrived in my home that there were broken & lost. Together with my speech tags on”ALL” boxes how could you confuse Oregon using Idaho & Nevada!
All of the horror stories I have learned about going remain in effect although there are government regulations allegedly protecting the customer. I won’t ever use this provider again, nor can I urge. This organization and it is sub brokers suck.
The most unprofessional company I have ever had to take care of. They contracted out our move to some moving company filing for bankruptcy (did not tell us discovered online when wondering if they offered our stuff) which this provider then laid off each of their drivers. Since they had no motorists, they weren’t able to get us all our stuff for nearly 4wks!!! North American van lines will tell us something and another firm (republic movers) would tell us yet another. They gave us four distinct dates that they promised we would have our stuff rather than referred to as the day before or revealed. So eventually after 22days of waiting (having thanksgiving around the ground ) and right before Xmas we eventually got our things. The movers broke the legs off our television console, many dishes, they composed on things, etc!!! After submitting a claim North American van lines will not refund us for all of the winter clothing I needed to receive my children for college (because they could not figure out how to deliver ours on time) the sole reimbursement we receive is that a insulting $50 daily. That does not mend our ruined furniture, That does not cover anything we needed for to stay on for a month with no meals, gadgets, cookware, bedding, and the list continues on and on. It was outside a mistake. We ought to have moved our stuff ourselves. Do not have a shot at North American van lines. This was a pricey mistake. It disturbs us everything to utilize them. The couple nice pieces of things we’d they broke. It is not appropriate
Driver showed up without a help. Driver showed up using a truck with insufficient space for our products. They eventually sent a different truck called the escape truck. Unbeknownst to us, they provide this truck of products whenever they happen to have a truck available, coming throughout the places involved and with sufficient space. May be a day or two Decades. Nobody told us this because the truck drove off with all our items we desire and NAVL just says that they could offer me no answer regarding when It’s Going to be delivered. What?! How on earth is that okay? They now treat me with contempt because I Wish to know when they will be delivering our things. And They’ve billed our credit card already. They have not even finished the job. We also got no sequence of support without a bill of lading. There was not even an accurate inventory of exactly what went on that truck. Shameful firm.
They ruined each of the big pieces from my movement. They had been dishonest as well as the driver left using these big damaged bits (since he explained that this is exactly what the protocol was and that he’d take it into the ware house. Rather, he”disposed” of it himself). Afterward, they didn’t reimburse me for all these items during my own appeal. I waited over 3 weeks and didn’t have my issue solved. I had over $2,000 in damage that I never reunite. The customer support was poor. I wouldn’t recommend their service to anybody under any conditions. They shouldn’t be permitted to continue a company as such.
Friends, honest warning: North American Van Lines have been THIEVES! After waiting patiently for 3 weeks in an insurance coverage (we paid EXTRA for) we’d claims for broken furniture and many boxes which never made it worth almost $1,500 of electronic equipment (XBox, Kinect and matches, Nespresso, etc), a briefcase I’d just bought for my new endeavor, an arrangement of such as 10 Bath and Body Works candles Nespresso capsules… THE LIST continues! We’ve been denied our insurance coverage to your missing boxes. Please SHARE with all you already know to NOT use this business!! It wasn’t the regional movers or motorist that refused us, it had been the true NORTH AMERICAN evaluators.
We transferred from Indio, California into Prescott, Arizona with North American Van Lines. Our movement was coordinated by their own representatives, Burgess Relocation, Palm Springs in 2 phases. Furniture was packaged and rich in November, 2018 and saved till April, 2019 before proceeding to our final destination, Prescott, Arizona. Tired of dealing with this provider. Following the furniture was packed into crates to a flatbed truck that I had been requested to signal”Household Goods Descriptive Inventory”,”Record of Additional Services”,”Bill of Lading & Freight Bill”, and”Bill of Lading – Client Declaration of Value” sheets. I wasn’t provided advance information about the previous record. It comprises”Choice 2 – Waiver of Total Replacement Value Protection” that was finished for my signature and initial. When requested I signed this together with 8 additional files. Regrettably, under this alternative the movers liability for items lost, damaged or ruined is limited to $.60 per pound whatever the worth….Ethan Allen furniture has been settled exactly like Big Lots! Again this was introduced as the truck is leaving my house in Indio. Now I am living with a real-life issue. The legs in the Ethan Allen dining table were missing. I’ve got the table top and foliage. North American Van Lines payoff is $66.00! The dining table isn’t functional anymore. I really don’t think Ethan Allen is promoting dining area tables for $66.00! Another instance, a walnut Jordan teak patio seat belonging to some set was basically ruined. North American Van Lines settlement $24.00.
Our claim was filed online as requested by the provider together with appropriate images. It was never assessed or reviewed with a third party. A settlement can be obtained dependent on the weight of every item times 60 pennies. I won’t ever use this company again and I urge others to do the same. There are a number of different choices. Ask full documentation prior to your furniture is filled. . .not at the flurry of action of proceeding day.
The movers ruined our walls and a chandelier. When we reported that the damages, they’d only pay for the wall damages. They said that we had been making up the harm to the chandelier because we didn’t see the damage until a couple of days after the transfer. Additionally, a costly piece of furniture has been completely cracked. They ignored my emails, don’t use this company for transferring!!!!
North American Van Lines delivered my things cross nation from California to Mississippi. Upon shipping, I had been missing many things to add two classic sofas and an oversized classic chaise lounge chair. Not once did they inform me that there were not any sofas in the vehicle. My things were delivered within an 18-wheeler, therefore I certainly assumed all of my things match and were current. Since the employees were earning boxes, then they kept asking me where various boxes were to be taken. I kept telling them that this box also that item and that vase and so forth were likely to go from the gold classic sofa. . I made mention to my sofas a number of times. Not once did they even mention that they didn’t possess or even watch my three sofas. They had been the biggest parts of furniture. In the very end since they were planning to depart, I inquired about my antique sofas. They said they weren’t on the vehicle and they’d no idea where they had been and that they just picked up the things from the storage centre. They said I needed to submit a complaint with the storage business and that they weren’t responsible. I had a classic early 1900s curio cabinet which came. The whole underside leg is lost. I am unable to even fix it. The curio is busted which I might have coped with but the whole leg is falling and I must maintain it standing upside down till they could get the lost leg. I’ve a priceless 1800s murphy bed which has been sent missing the whole top part and my inner bedsprings are broken and cracked as if someone opened it and then ripped them. They weren’t noted as broken in my delivery newspaper. Among my classic chairs which were delivered is overlooking the rear and two additional classic sofas are cracked and broken. . My 5 ft tall wall painting features a fracture in the glass. My classic buffet was scratched in a number of places. A number of my classic glassware was sent broken up into the boxes. A number of the collector bottles of wine have been sent shattered and broken off another contents of these boxes. I’m extremely displeased with this movement. I am a 100% disabled Army veteran who has been not able to lift or transfer in my own. I murdered from California and returned to my own hometown of Mississippi and recognized everything I thought was a respectable business to send my valuables for me. I only had my brand new home built and proceeded in a couple weeks past. I was finally prepared for my own antiques. I am so frustrated and hurt beyond belief. I paid roughly $15,000.00 to my storage device within the duration of the previous 9 decades or so. Just some of my things were sent and several of these broken, scratched, dinged, or otherwise damaged. I paid an extra $4807.78 to get my things delivered with the moving business.
My concern is seeing an unacceptable quantity of harm to my own belonging while getting professional moving services throughout North American VanLines / / AirVan / / Sirva plus also a denied claim.
I talked with Sirva – North American Van Lines seeing a transfer from California to New Jersey to get work. I had two complete talks with the Expert Move Coordinator about my possessions being in packaged with storage and having to be transferred throughout the nation. I asked about the many varieties of insurance based on the contract and also what they’ve covered. Though we discussed proportions of policy, it was not said that customer packaged boxes wouldn’t be covered. And so, I bought 100% insurance. Please be aware I have moved many times previously and use superior wrap, peanutsand bubble wrap, heavy duty boxes etc., and all my delicate things were marked brittle all over the box.
My possessions arrived in the time as explained, and if the movers had been moving, I discovered certain among the movers was quite rough in the way he had been handing the products. Examples include things like falling a lazy boy chair on the floor once indoors and the seat making cracking noises. I suddenly looked in the inspector and he responded”It is thick”. He flippantly rebounding his hands down the staircase with selecting it up, resulting in a loud banging sound at every step and vibration of the stairwell. Things had also been abandoned on another truck that included another excursion, and paperwork was abandoned that included a third excursion.
Most of all, although the movers have been current, I discovered that a range of boxes seemed somewhat smashed, and that I consequently beginning opening them to discover that roughly 18 bits, $659.67 in harm, in more than 7 distinct boxes had been broken. Moreover, an extremely large vase which was to be boxed and transported by the business was lost, and if asked about it, the inspector reacted”It probably got busted and has been thrown off.” Afterward , I filed a claim with the firm concerning the broken things and has been advised with a German Claims Adjuster who”After reviewing your signed shipping records, I see that all cartons are recorded as PBO-Packed by Owner. I’m sorry to inform that because we’d no control over the packaging of these cartons, we’re not able to accept responsibility since promised. Hence no settlement test will be coming.”
My challenge is that firstly, the extraordinary quantity of carelessness exhibited and harm for my boxes signifies too little worry, professionalism, and managing by the movers rather than a client packing dilemma. Thus, I want to dispute that the reason for the harm was client mistake.
Second, the huge vase wasn’t packed with the client and has been to be packed with the movers and never left it into the destination.
Finally, in just two complete question discussions regarding insurance together with the reservation agent, never did he counsel which the packed boxes I’d explained to him wouldn’t be covered nevertheless upsold me to the priciest insurance policy amount.
NOTE THAT I COULD ONLY UPLOAD TWO PICTURES YET HAVE 18 PICTURES TO SHOW.
I utilized North American to help with my movement. I wish I had not.
The majority of my furniture came soaked and moldy. I needed to throw out a great deal of things because of water damage and also mold/mildew: 2 bookshelves, dining room table, bits of my mattress, an whole desk, and lots of my photographs. And I needed to have a good deal of different things repaired as a result of water damage and also mold/mildew: a pair of 3 tables to your living space (coffee table, large dining table, side table), bits of my mattress which were not entirely destroyed, my entertainment centre, 2 recliners and a sofa, my grandma’s dishes, along with the reamining photographs which weren’t entirely destroyed.
North American informed me that it was MY fault for never buying their entire insurance. (I suppose I seemingly had too much religion in the business.) They reimbursed mepersonally, based on their own fundamental insurance, 60 cents a pound of damaged/ruined possessions. I got a total of 480 to replace and fix everything that they ruined. They were quite rude during the whole claims process. This type of hassle! A headache that might have been averted had I never used North American!!
We hired North American moving firm because of our relocation from San Antonio TX to Phoenix AZ.. We’d like to warn everybody not to seek the services of this business for their home move or move. We had a dreadful experience. Tons of those stuff was ruined in the transit, staff was quite rude and largely clueless. They didn’t even bother to inform us if they couldn’t deliver on the promised date. We needed to keep calling them to determine where our stuff was.
We now feel that we ought to have appeared at all of their negative testimonials before employing the incompetent North American Moving firm. So do your homework and due diligence hiring some other movers. They were rather pricey, and we believed it’d be smooth and skilled proceed as promised, but it had been the reverse. We’ve moved several times before but not had such a poor experience and inadequate customer support (past moves were through companies ). Packing was dreadful and performed by inexperienced employees. They didn’t shield the heavy furniture. They reimbursed us following a few months for little broken items but not to your dining table. They’re saying they aren’t responsible for the fracture since it’s weather related, even though it deciphered during the transfer. They even sold us insurance and still will not reimburse us. Individuals who came to send the materials were shocked to see how the material was filled and managed. Each of the boxes were torn and damaged. We’ve got photographs to reveal their packaging and the way they managed our stuff. If you visit North American Moving business, run in the opposite way as fast as possible.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. After paying this business $9,300. To move our belongings to our new residence in Idaho in the Bay Area, we’re still waiting for a number of our boxes and the rest of our furniture, since our”load” wasn’t properly calculated, so therefore they weren’t able to put it on the first moving truck. We’re going on 4 months now, and continue to find the same”we’re doing the best we could”, without any answers as to if our scenario is going to be escalated into someone who can find the task finished. I’ve always asked to talk to a individual who has the ability to tell me at what stage, how long we have to wait until they hire a person to move our possessions or send them using another delivery carrier. It was a nightmare, even with guarantees of mobile upgrades which NEVER, not once has happened, without a plan regarding the upcoming steps they will take so as to receive our items to us. They have our money and now they have a lot of our irreplaceable possessions sitting in their own storage facility. Reduce us, they’re out nothing.
Awful experience for this provider. I used them to move from Baltimore to San Francisco. They utilize local moving companies contracted with North American to pick up and drop off your things. The local business in Baltimore chose up my things on a Friday after which North American was supposed to pick this up from them on the forthcoming Monday but they picked it up a week late. The explanation I got was”it dropped through the cracks.” On top of getting my items at San Francisco a week later than promised, each piece of furniture that they transferred showed up either scratched, nicked, chipped, damaged, or broken. I literally had to find a new sofa since they ruined it so badly. I needed to create many promises and they ended up sending me around $1,500 since there were numerous troubles. They sent out a neighborhood restoration business to check the claims I created and then sent me the cash. The entire procedure of submitting the claims and receiving the cash took approximately 7 weeks that’s ridiculous. If you don’t need your items to appear a week later than promised and have them all ruined I urge to discover a different moving business.
Tina from customer support was unbelievably rude and unprofessional when I wanted help addressing the regional movers Dimon & Bacorn. Worst company I’ve ever dealt with, so I suppose it’s no surprise that they contact outside to poor businesses as they’re such a terrible business.
For a span of 4 decades that I paid over $40,000 into The Moving Connection (a Baltimore affiliate of North American Van Lines) to securely store and send my possessions, that included several precious antiques. On June 28, 2018, the aforementioned company delivered my possessions to Glenside, PA.. Unlike my petition, the movers had piled up hundreds of boxes, lots of marked delicate, in my detached garage, making it impossible to check whether some of the contents were missing or damaged. Upon after examination, I found that a number of classic lamps, clocks, etc.. was ruined or were lost. My efforts to receive damages for my substantial financial losses by submitting a claim with SIRVA (the claims fee for NAVL) were unavailing. I received nothing but specious and delicate company boilerplate explanations in protection of gross neglect and incompetence. I plan to pursue this issue further with my charge card business and, if needed, bring the dispute to your neighborhood tiny claims court.
The upshot can be avert NAVL in any respect costs or expect decent treatment from any insurance provider connected with a leading moving business.
My items have been picked up in Oklahoma and that I moved to Pittsburgh. My stuff hasn’t moved. It has been 10 times along with the DRIVER NEVER PICKED UP MY THINGS. NEVER. Nobody bothered to say that there was an whole shipment awaiting pickup, they simply let it sit there until I started bugging them regarding shipping. Now they don’t have any idea as it’ll arrive and do not appear overly worried at all that this occurred. Nobody has stated the words”I am sorry” to me personally. That is crazy. I am dwelling on folding chairs along with an aviation and they simply email me and state, the motorist never picked up the items, we do not understand what is happening but we are looking in to it. These Folks are UNRELIABLE and UNTRUSTWORTHY.
I picked North American since I believed that I might trust a business that was in operation for years. Major mistake! The estimator did not perform her job correctly, we waited patiently for months past our relocation date for them to locate a truck. Subsequently the truck did not have sufficient space for a great part of our residence. We waited for a few months to find the rest of these items. Many came smashed or damaged. They overcharged us $2,000, don’t have any trouble collecting the cash up front, however I am still battling for compensation. When I had to do it on again, North American are the very last movers who I’d even consider!! Wish I could speed two stars
Folks were friendly and that I trusted them. However, a substantial number of items did not arrive in my new place — arbitrary things – such as my favourite painting, half of the dollhouse, cooking products, linens, and tchotchkes. However, since I could not identify specific numbered boxes which were lost, I have zero comprehension or reimbursement. I read this to somebody else’s inspection and did not think it – but it’s true. You Have to WATCH EVERY SINGLE BOX THAT LEAVES YOUR HOUSE AND CHECK THAT There’s a NUMBER ON IT. Otherwise, you are SOL if your things go missing.
Estimated one number to find the company with low-fat and stick count. Then they tried to charge 33 percent more after they had my things in their ownership. Don’t use – they’ll hold your family possessions hostage following lowballing the quote. As a negative warning – that the packing aid is debilitating. Having transferred a three bedroom home two times using 3 movers, the conventional period is 3-5 hours. This team required 9 hours because of continuous telephone calls, fractures, and packaging of close empty boxes.
I can not believe that this company is still in business following the dreadful experience I had together. Moved from Chicago into Pasadena. Lost my sofa, dining room chair, shattered my dining room table, lost/stole my bicycle and then claimed I did not have a bicycle. Charged me an extra $500.00 to alter my transfer date, but did not inform me I would be billed. Around $5,000.00 at damaged/lost things and obtained a check for about $150.00. Highway robbery! I really don’t understand why anybody could use them after reading those testimonials. I have moved a lot and BY FAR WORST MOVERS EVER. I wrote that the CEO in my experience and he advised me to jump into a lake. I guess it is accurate, the fish rots from the head down.
