    Horror Story

Please prevent them! They’re complete scammers who’ll tell you whatever that you wish to listen to so that they get your small business but do since they need after you deal together. I sent 14 guitars in Feb 2015 within my trip to FL, paid to get them crated for security and they came uncrated and that I had a few broken scenarios! They assured me that a date of shipping then kept my possessions for two weeks past that date prior to beginning the transfer! They don’t have moving trucks, as revealed on their site, and subcontract the work out to amateurs! A whole nightmare! I even filed complaints with the NYC Dep of Consumer Affairs along with the BBB. They ought to be closed down but that would be tough to do because they operate from a”store-front” at a Brooklyn apartment building! Please heed my advice and save yourself the stress and frustration by preventing these unscrupulous creatures!!! I have written other online reviews and beware of”favorable” reviews since they are composed by NYVL! I am convinced the”Sean” personality I spoke with is a front, also!

    TERRIBLE NEVER USE!!

New York Van Lines is the worst business you’re able to get. They quote you a very low amount so that you become drawn to the provider then charge you twice what they’ve been quoted. They promised 3-4 men when we just got two. They came 4 hours later than anticipated. They delivered all of our stuff ruined and went throughout our drawers. They left us to deliver up over half of our things up and threw the rest of our stuff from the dirt and sand. This firm took more money from our bank accounts than that which they were supposed to. They’re con artists and also have changed there names several times before to escape legal issues.

    My Piano Move

This moving business proceeded exclusively my piano.  My piano was in near flawless condition.  After they picked up it, it seemed that it had been wrapped up nicely.  But when they sent it, it had a totally broken leg.  Moreover, the audio book holder bit was eliminated and delivered using numerous deep scrapes on it.  The man or woman who delivered it said that this bit was putting on the truck unwrapped and he was not even certain exactly what it was.  I didn’t receive signed copies of my paperwork I’d asked.  The woman (worker name eliminated by company request) advised me she mailed the copies to me twice.  She also continued the right address to me personally but funny how I never received it.  She stated she won’t email it to me a third time.  When asked to talk to a supervisor, she refused to allow me to speak with anybody else.  The insurer they use – Anheim will simply pay me $180.00 for damages since they said they cover $.60 percent plus they promised it being just 300 pounds. I got a single quote to repair the leg and that alone was 400.  I didn’t get a quote however to adjusting the audio holder piece. Before the transfer, I inquired (worker name eliminated by company ask ) who I had been dealing with about carrying out additional insurance and he promised I wouldn’t have to because it’s covered by them.   This is my very first experience with a moving company and likely my last.  I blame me for not taking great care of doing my own assignments before utilizing them since I have a tendency to trust a great deal.   Just want other people to beware of the horrific business to handle.

    WORST MOVING COMPANY!

Movers were overdue, then insisted on bringing at 1:00am for my faith in Laws. Finding a resort wasn’t a choice they stated. Since they have lost they chose to sleep inside his drive then knocking on his door at 6:00 am to provide. Damaged merchandise, table left out in rain and if talked to”customer support” she explained,”It is just furniture”. We have moved several occasions, that has been THE WORST customer support , ever. Do not use them when their services were not free.

    Stay away from this company

About August 18th we hired that business to get a transfer from Ny into Nc.We employed a credit card for deposit plus they required more then they were suppose to. They did not come when they stated they’d. Once they eventually did put everything about the truck that they billed us a complete 400 bucks more. . We were informed we’d get our possessions by sept 13th and we have not everytime we predict about our things it is another story. Sean,Rosa & Amanda have been liers. They lied from begin to finish. We still have not obtained our things and they have not told us anything.

    Don't believe the hype!

I used New York Van Lines to move me along with my loved ones out of St Albans N.Y. into Co Op City. If I’d have read the testimonials I’d haven’t used them and missed out on My amazing rmoving encounter. The cost was fair however, the support was outstanding. My furniture has been wrapped, my China cupboard and glass tables were properly shielded. My television’s were very well cared for. The cost was a bit more than that which I purchased on the telephone but it was to my perception that the cost over the telephone was only an ESTIMATE! I recommend these guys to anybody. Stress free move! God Bless these men. Thanks again!

They delivered my things over month late, charged me twice then agreed on contract and my furnishings and possessions were ruined. The direction is extremely nasty, unprofessional and impolite. Each individual answering the telephone promised are the operations mgr. As soon as I complained to there”so called mgmt” the girl had the audacifity to day I turned into a liar and sabotage me. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE THIEFS AND TGEY TRAIN Shipping PERSONNEL TO LIE AND WANT TO CHARGE MORE FOR STUFF.

    What they do is criminal

These individuals like from start.to complete. They do not have trucks that they lease rider trucks   that they require any sort of charge for deposit but may only except money or money order on shipping only because they understand you’ll be angry once you receive delivery and potentially prevent payment on a test. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DELT WITH THEY ARE CRIMINAL

    TERRIBLE!

Please don’t use this business!! They’ll say whatever that you need to listen, however as soon as it’s a lot… they ship your things back damaged. When they required final payment on delivery, they advised us that not all of our things had sent. I’ve called more than 5 times attempting to find an answer on if I’ll obtain the remainder of our things, but they continue giving us the run around (especially discussed to Lisa and Rosa). This business is full SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! Don’t use them in case you would like all of your stuff returned, and should you’d like your items undamaged. I am not positive whether they may also send the remainder of our possessions, including baby things that we desire for our small one due in May. Bad experience!

NEW YORK VAN LINES ARE WORST MOVERS EVER

NEW YORK VAN LINES ARE WORST MOVERS EVER.
I strongly recommend not going with those movers. I am the victim. I am frustrated and tired with those movers. I had this movement in North Carolina to Massachusetts (Interstate Move). First their moving quotation is misleading. They will get your quotation with reduced cost to bring you first and choose 100 dollar to get you sign for their quotation. They move by cubic feet. Irrespective of your house hold material they estimate quite low cubic feet to deliver the cost low to entice you. If you register by that you’re hanged. They’ll send the driver to select you material ASAP but shipping is postponed to your patience. I didn’t get deliveries until today even after 3 months. They have loads of excuses to inform you. Please do not deliver whatever motorist say for you. He doesn’t have any ability to provide discount nor delivery period. He’ll bring your quotation nearly double first and he speaks to his handles and pretend like he’s on your side and providing you dismiss but it’s not. IT’S ALL THEIR GAME PLAN, NEVER BELIEVE THEM. Delivery is all their choice. No matter how much you ask, they won’t even try supporting you. They’ll take full advantage and require as much time as you can. They provide just on their won’t on your own wish. Just imagine, 11 months infant with no bowl to nourish and blanket to sleep for 3 months. I called them so many times and asked but they never even tried to assist me. All these are people I spoke and confronted trouble.
I REQUEST YOU NOT TO GO WITH THESE MOVERS AND ESPECIALLY DON’T TRUST THESE PEOPLE (ANGIE, ROSA OR ANY DISPATCH TEAM AND DRIVER TYLER).
I STRONGLY SUGGEST AND RECOMMEND NOT TO GO WITH THIS MOVERS.
    Regards,RD

    Do not use

New York Van Lines, has been service to move our things in Miami to New Jersey June 21, 2013, however, they had numerous problems with their trucks, the items was transferred June 30, 2013. Matters was transferred with no being advised that the cost was now tripled before the van was nearly in New Jersey. I predicted NY Van multiple occasions requesting the fee and nobody at the workplace keen the solution. After they told us that the price tag, because of us not having sufficient cash, ny trucks set our items in their own storage before July 24, 2013. I reported that people had lost and a lot of things. They advised us to submit a claim using Anthem Claim Management. We did so August 27,2013 and got a reply back saying that they are able to give us 210. What was ruined: 1) 2 glass China’s ( most of the glass shelves had been broken) 2) deep freeze (big scratches on sides 3) cooking stove (plenty of scratches, cooker top fully damaged, springs divided ) 4) rice mill ruined (top lost ) 5) 3 big quite pricey photos ( glass frames split ) 6) dinning Rome table (broken, legs cannot be attached). These things was bundle and rapped from ny vans. They promised to’d purchased more rapping things from Home Depot, but all I found was ny trucks wrappings.

    Highly UPSET

I’ve tried to utilize this moving business earlier, first time that I had been provided a date; the movers phone me the day before that they could not that day. . So I chose not too. Now I tried to get it done again, the exact same thing. . They could not come the day that they stated. Then I had been quoted $1000 for your transfer, they went & picked up my belongings and now the eventually bill is 1900!!! Never again!!!

    DONT USE THEM !!!!

This provider is the worse ever!! They’ve no morals, no regard, they’re extremely dishonest, They dint honor the appointments, and also the times, they explained that they will come about 9 am, and they revealed at 5 pm. All the time that I was phoning them,. Along with the shipment was treating me like crap!! And if they FINALLY howed up, and I had been in my brand new location at about midnight that they billed me EXTRA 300 bucks, though it was their error when they showed up 8 hrs overdue!! Then a lost box and a very expensive item too, I have been calling them for two months now, and all the time they’re providing me [EDIT] explanations and occasionally they will shout. I want to speak to there CEO or a manager, however they have the machine setup in a manner which you can’t get to the administration. Therefore I am sending this to the CEO, DO YOU KNOW WHATS HAPPENING IN YOU COMPANY??!! I GUESS NOT !! OR YOU ARE PART OF IT !!

One of the best moving company.

We hired New York Van Lines Moving to our relocation from New York into New Jersey. . This was our very first movement and we’re really worried about the whole procedure after reading SO MANY BAD REVIWES ABOUT SO MANY DIFFERENT COMPANIES Fortunately for us, New york van lInes  was prepared to show to us that not all of movers are all out to rip off you!!!! Our relocation advisor, lisa, was quite thorough during the quote process and made sure to describe to us the complete procedure of the relocation and solutions which were offered to us. Lisa supplied us with a guaranteed price in writing for our relocation and has been quick to offer suggestions about how to properly prepare to your pickup date. The pickup went easily, and our items were delivered well over the window of dates that we had been given. The shipping team not just brought our things to the house but put them in the right rooms and also set up our beds! We could not have asked for a simpler relocation procedure. Thank you guys!

Never hire them - beware of LISA

Please keep away from this provider.  Read all of the testimonials notably on Yelp (the filtered testimonials and testimonials everywhere )….they lie/ / that they steal/ rob customers land / use it / harm it / is an unethically run company / whoever owns LISA cries and yells at clients.    My family moved from NY to CA.  Our stuff came 90 days after it had been picked up   – no communicating / no advice / no news out of NY Van Lines despite departing many telephone calls.  21 percent of our house was  stolen.  They didn’t honor their particular contract at which we paid for unpacking services – they refused to innovate.  The boxes came broken, chipped, open and half empty.  Priciest items stolen for example our bicycles, art job, antique furniture bits.  Lisa and her team stole our stuff.

The cost on the contract which was revealed at the conclusion after my belongings had been about the truck was 3 times the initial quote that Lisa’s professional employees quoted later walking our house and discussing notes.  I had been made to sign the record that had triggered the cost.  Lisa was crying at me about the telephone.  It began with her team stealing my sons meals (four years old)when they came, then her team was requesting for a 15-20% tip on the total charged amount and asked me when my husband could settle the trick or I’d.  Then then business ended up with 3 times the invoice following the material had been on the truck using Lisa crying and yelling at me regarding the undisclosed charges.  I had a quotation from her so called professional employees ( was her team not capable ) is the why the quotation was tripled.  Or did the employees lie to us to find company?   They refused to discuss any documentation about how big their truck or offer some supporting information on the way they calculated that the quantity of my belongings – that was nearly twice of what their specialist staff had anticipated.  The calculation was arbitrary with no supporting files.  I wish to view them if you can find some.  And then I had been made to sign the record as soon as they loaded the truck.  The motorist said, I Need to leave just hint here and Lisa was crying the same – that I Don’t Have Any option but to sign.    Our stuff was sent to the 61st day after it had been hauled out of the area of origin.  We had no advice at all when to anticipate.  There was no communication from their conclusion.  Stuff came with 21% lost and truck driver with no hint.  Lisa on the telephone, was telling my husband along with the truck driver that they are both lying that the things is missing.  The company didn’t honor their particular contract that was signed by them and us where they billed us $3,500 for unpacking under’unpacking’ line item on the contract.  It’s intriguing to remember that they induce the client to register and handily honor it whenever they need and handily dishonor the contract whenever they don’t, to work out it in their favor.  Our boxes came broken, open and half empty besides the lost 21 percent of the general shipment.  After the truck driver refused to shut, we predicted Lisa and she said the only option we have is to cover the invoice in total if we need our belongings.  The driver threatened to depart with all our stuff (which can steal our land and maintain it aggressive ).  The firm had failed to honor its contract, has failed to supply the support, misplaced / stole / abused /robbed us of their house.

They’ve a team of 3 ONLY! Their dispatch section include a woman named Alma – that never returns phone calls. Their customer support is a woman named Lisa – that literally barks at clients and scolds them. And there’s a large man by the name John who’s their Direction. They call every other every others managers and staff handily. Avoid this organization.  Avoid this business who’s robbing people of their possessions and their money. We have transferred a few times but never had such a negative experience. Don’t bring your company to them. They’re a joke. Their so called binding quote wasn’t binding, regular was a surprise. The huge man (specialist – not even for a second) walked and came and left no notes at all and oh. . .he simply forgot to provide the quote until figure what I followed up a zillion times. The so called binding quote is a whole lie. They awakened it for me personally. After placing all of my stuff onto the vehicle….they made me sign a contract which has been 3 times the quote while all of the services needed were requested to get upfront. There were no improvements to support from our conclusion. Except to it that from their conclusion – that the price had shrunk by then. Goods won’t move in the price they quote…they proceed at 3 times that cost! They perform with a bait and switch game. And they’re never on time. They’ll always blow up your own time schedule and won’t call you/ have the courtesy to notify you even after they are overdue. What an irony which they compose whole lies on their site. Nothing like what we experienced. Quoting from their site…”Following a first survey of these goods to be transferred, our professional estimators supply you with a binding quote of price. You can rest assured that these products will be transferred at the cost. New York Van Lines prides itself on being on time and on budget.” And beware of this woman which goes by the title Lisa at the workplace. . .who calls herself a team, a supervisor, a manager and a bull puppy! . Yes she is. She’ll bark at you. Can I not mention that they understand no customer services!

Don’t hesitate to contact us should you want more details.  We’ve listed our talk with the owner / client support representative Lisa – who’s practically always crying and yelling at clients on the telephone.

    Long-distance move from Pennsylvania
    New York Van Lines

I wish I’d read the reviews prior to picking this provider. My shifting date was Monday July 1st; the agent stated they’d phone me the day ahead to allow me to know when they’d arrive at load. I haven’t got that phone, and obviously there wasn’t any one at the workplace. The morning after, once I called them, they said that the movers will be coming between 9 and 11; in 11.30 I got a call out of the driver allowing me know there’d been a problem with the truck and they weren’t able to arrive till 5 in the day. I’d booked a dedicated truck to my own shifting in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania into Richmond, VA, so he stated they’d remain that night at a motel in the town and would fill the following day early in the morning, at 7.30. I concurred, would else could I do? Then guess what? In 5.30 am I was awakened with a call from someone in the business stating they’d be coming between 9 and 11am. Clearly they didn’t arrive on Monday neither remain there but were forcing from Brooklyn. When I called the company to complain concerning this new delay, the agent was very impolite; she explained I’d no motive whatsoever to complain, also asserted that I hadn’t paid to get a dedicated truck, that wasn’t true, because I had been paing $800 because of that. Once I insisted not merely that I’d reserved a committed truck but also that the shifting day on the arrangement was that the afternoon before, she needed to apologize, however reluctantly. After nearly 6 years in America I can say I’d not been treated in such a rude manner! Please, steer clear of this dreadful moving business!

    NO SHOW

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY….THEY ARE A FRAUD!!!!!   I hired this moving business to get a transfer from New York to Philadelphia.   They needed a 50 dollar deposit.   They offered me a price estimate of 730 bucks.   I supported the task over the telephone Many times a week prior to this transfer.   I made it very obvious that I’d stringent elevator limitations and I Was just able to work with the elevator in my building out of 8-10am because many people were going out.   I had all packed and ready to go at 8am, however, the firm did not show up.   I phoned their workplace 10-15 times throughout those two hours but I Couldn’t get through to anybody and nobody called me back, even though leaving messages with All their departments.   They’ve a feature in their telephone where You Need to state that your name before anybody will Speak with one….shady.     Because they didn’t appear, I had been forced to call a different moving company to organize the movement for after that night and that I didn’t get to Philadelphia till after 1am.   Throughout this afternoon, New York Van Lines eventually showed up however, it wasn’t until around time, in that time I Can’t go because other tenants had been utilizing the elevator.   Moreover, the driver of this truck took you look in my cost quote and stated”you’re smart to employ a different firm because there Is Not Any way I’d move you for even close to this quotation.”   When I spoke to New York Van Lines after, they refused to come back my 50 dollar deposit!!   The supervisor explained that she would not refund my money even when they showed up a week late!!

    Bad Service!

Please! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!! I’d love to share our story with everybody! We hired this organization and this is a tragedy, this is actually the worst choice we made! We dropped a TV 60″apartment with cracked display, a table broken down into five bits, a vase flooring tiles 40 cm divided into half, overlooking two poles and other smaller parts of kitchen glass. These folks are poor professionals, beginning with the man who had been our house load the truck, even once he show me that the documentation, he explained: ” I like the trick is 10 percent of the whole contract worth, I think that the issues began at that moment, as my husband and I discovered this ridiculous mindset, the trick would be about $200, and this cost isn’t correct. Our nightmare was only beginning at the moment, our transfer has been around NH FL, our possessions were sent 10 days late because the salesgirl Angie whined concerning the shipping of our possessions, we had been 10 times without NOTHING within our flat My husband could phone and hear insults past the supervisor Lisa, we didn’t have a date to get projected entrance of our belongings. When the shift was eventually delivered, once the clerk started the vehicle, we chose a fright because all our stuff from the vehicle were overturned, ripped boxes, and also the worst they”forgot” to deliver the bicycle out of my husband, and the wonderful detail is the fact that the bike wasn’t in our stock checklist. My husband and I had been just too busy and don’t listen, hope that what was based on a value was compensated more for this bicycle to be set in exactly the exact same truck, however we decid to cover another firm $500 more for just take out our moto out of New York Van Lines, we’re so afraid to reduce our motocycle, or merely have completely broken, once the driver of the bike firm’s third truck, also known for Mr. Lisa attempting to find information on programs, this girl, Mr. Lisa, wrapped up the telephone and simply not answer the telephone anymore. Eventually my husband named Elms, a kind of representative, but using much more profile client support, and she had been the person who was ready to aid us.When we view all our reductions, we predicted the company, talked with the director Lisa, and she gave the following reaction for my husband, and you packaged it’s the fault and I am too busy for you. But we paid more than 150 in plastic pockets along with a cardboard box to your enterprise to utilize in belongs of their home which”they” believe need far better protection. We will disclose all info on inspection websites so that other individuals don’t have precisely the identical issue we had, that organization is poor, just don’t waste your time if you would like to see photos or additional information leave your email. We’ll send what’s needed, we need to attempt and aid people from companies that degree.
