Moving with this business was fantastic. I was initially worried about moving my things out of California to Indiana, but those men were nice and simple to get a grasp of. They took such great care of my things and it made my own encounter with transferring so much simpler than I thought it’d be. Robert was really helpful and educated. I’d defiantly recommend this business to anybody who’s moving.
New Horizons assisted me along with my move to Texas lately and they’re past a top-notch organization to utilize.
Robert was instrumental in guiding me through the procedure and the team who arrived to load up my things were so friendly and professional. The delivery was Quick and everything came. The shipping driver was exceptional and place everything where I wanted it to be in my new house.
These guys are definately”super movers” and would highly recommend them to anybody searching for a reliable, professional firm.
We’ve moved 4 times in the previous six decades, so I am fairly knowledgeable about how this business works. They aren’t that generous with clients, and receiving full compensation for broken material could be troublesome. Having said this, the New Horizon is a criminal syndicate that has to be put out of business ASAP, and I am working on it at the moment.
But first things first. I called the proprietor John Gallo to get a quotation back in December, he created a $2K”not-to-exceed” quotation. I requested him to send a rep to get in-home evaluation and verification, he turned it down and reassured me about this amount.
Two of his guys appear about the pickup date of Jan 1st, although their listing matches up with what they view within my home, they instantly jack up the cost to $3,500 since”my furniture seems larger than that which they’d believed”. As I took the phone to phone John Gallo for clarification, they told me -“he only had a heart attack, which he now does a few times every year”. Apparently other clients above have also been told the exact same story. Anyhow, we eventually come to some”compromise” at $3K, plus they provide me the next options to pay the initial $2K from their complete $3K: cash, check, charge card. I select the credit card option, they receive the card amount, they declare that the target delivery date of”Jan 8th or in just a few times of this”. Btw, one of those two”foreman” spent nearly the whole time out smoking while another man worked his. . .rear off. Therefore it ended up carrying them more than 6 hours that should have obtained no longer than 3-4 hours maximum.
A couple of days later as I am on a 5-day trip to push my car into our new place, John’s secretary Andrea requires me to inform that”there’s 3.5% convenience fee” on credit card payments!” Like I get frustrated and surprised, she responded I can avoid the excess charge by paying money or by performing a wire transfer to some random Bank of America account. Being in the center of a cross-country drive without the choices in hand, I consent to the 3.5% fee…
Next pair of lies and deceptions began because we approached, passed and reached the guaranteed delivery date of Jan 8th. I’d multiple telephone discussions with John and Andrea from Jan 1 through Jan 18, where every time they explained that”the truck should arrive any day now”. It later turned out that our stuff was still sitting in their California warehouse the first time that they lied to us with their”it is coming soon” line.
We ended up downing another expansive on resorts on account of this 10-day delay.
However, the worst part was yet to come… following a 10-day delay two brand new men appear at our doorstep with all our stuff. Though John had promised me that the delivery could be achieved”by the personnel of his firm”, these two brand new gentlemen did not even know who John was, since it wassoon revealed. They go with collecting the remaining $1K in money. They unloaded the material but they weren’t eager to build the furniture before we pushed them to do so. And we needed to do so for nearly every huge piece of furniture. When I saw them shutting the side doors at the truck I advised them that we were still missing a brand-new king size mattress and 3 boxes that was all documented in the paperwork. While they were still in the home I left a call to John Gallo and he promised me on the speakerphone to discover and deliver my lost stuff in a couple of days. A couple of days after I call him to check on the status, and he informs me that allegedly our stuff had been wrongly delivered to some other customer 60 miles apart from Boston! He again promises to ship his local truck to receive our items and send them to where they belong. . .in the length of the next 10 days that I create over a dozen calls to him. His answers gradually dwindle from”coming soon” down to”umm, I’m working on it”, to”has not my secretary Andrea contacted you now?” . Each of these dozen calls ends together with his promise to call me back”over a few hours”, but that never occurred leaving me with no option aside from calling him again next day. So far as my past 3 calls, he explicitly ignored them and hung me up.
I’m initiating a legal action to close down this criminal business. There could be some nations out there where you could stay out of jail by conducting business in this manner, but the USA should not be among these!
They communicate with un only until they select your materials, and after u can get surprise after surprise.
