Primarily, the majority of the favorable reviews seem to be bogus accounts.
This really is a broker, they do not do anything besides reserve area onto a truck. I had been advised by Levi they just use the very best and most specialist businesses, that has been a lie.
The moving business they reserved hardly has a footprint on the internet. The couple items that I could detect were scathing. They revealed a day and a half late. They originally refused to put on masks. I then was told it’d be 5-10 business days out of my very first available date until they can send our furniture. The sum also travelled from $3,800, to $4,200 and reasoned at an amount of $5,700. Save yourself stress and time, novel with a business which gets more control over the procedure (not a broker), also certainly will perform a movie or at home estimate. Im praying that they do not pull the very same stunts they’ve with other people for our shipping (broken/lost products, and long waits ).
Hired Nationwide Relocation for my transfer from Michigan to California. The experience was a nightmare, and it has caused enormous issues with my move. Were told that the move would occur either Friday August 16th or even Saturday August 17th and I would be informed Wednesday of that day the movement would happen. Never contacted Wednesday. Called and was told that they did not know yet but could contact me by 7pm Wednesday. Never known as that evening. Called them again Thursday and they did not know which day that the movement would happen. On my next phone to them Thursday evening was advised”because it is Thursday night that the move likely will not be Friday.” Called multiple occasions on Friday and appeared like everybody was out of this workplace that might assist me. Eventually I was told that the movers are in my place on Saturday involving 9am-noon. Saturday arrives without a word from anybody. At 2:30pm called and spoke with Alex about where my moving truck was. Numerous calls after, he phoned me back at 4:20pm and allow me to know that they would be there Sunday now and I would need to pay an extra $100 into the movers when they came. When I told him that was unacceptable and that I needed my money back he informed me that wasn’t his job and that he was already supposed to have left for the afternoon but remained here working with it for me. All this after they’d improved the initial quote by $600 and demanded an extra deposit. I’ve coped with David and Scott largely and they’re good about telling you the way they would like to give great customer support and make this as stress free as possible. They’ve failed miserably on this goal and all the did was simply take $1250.00 of the cash and done zero support. Don’t recommend them whatsoever.
I transferred a small quantity of household products in addition to my painting studio and paintings (I boxed). Some frequent bad things happened – transfer went from $5000 to at the ending $7700, scheduling was not eloquent, no motorist was ever within 17 hours of when I had been told they’d be there (frequently getting a call that the day of, after two hours from first incorrect period ), the 800 surprise shuttle bill arrived the afternoon of (subsequently postponed) delivery, furniture came without any blankets and had been ruined, somebody else’s things were blended in with mine the initial and second shipping, along with the claims process was sabotaged.
I provided descriptions and photos as requested for your own insurer. But then was advised to use a badly constructed internet, pop-up advertisement filled website”movingclaims.net” to supply more information. Following a couple of hours, again coordinating files, etc.. . I recognized the website made its funds from the pop-up advertisements and made clients undergo unnecessary hoops. Now I chose to maintain my sanity and then draw from the claims procedure so that I could talk about my story and be finished with that! Oh yeah – that their Illinois established inspector,”Platinum Storage and Moving” (in quotations since they stole the emblem and title from a respectable inspector at California – seriously!) Wouldn’t go with a promise unless I consented to not leave any testimonials while the procedure was going along. Therefore, I am no more in that procedure – in which I might have obtained in most 60cents/pound (per talk with Alex in”Platinum Transferring”). A 15 pound classic dining table that they snapped and gouged is now being fixed for about $435. My vertical Yamaha piano in the 60’s includes scrapes, gouges, and smashed veneer. It had been from the truck onto a tilt free of blanket after delivered. Both classic chairs they proceeded are equally gouged and a very long classic dresser was transferred on its border on the truck flooring – and that border is a wreck, and the drawers no more slide easily.
However, there’s more!
When my possessions were filled with Oregon, the men they contracted did an wonderful job. But then it all went right into a sort of black hole by which people managing my items simply did not care. The Household Inventory sheets have been not utilized. Not when going into and out of storage. Not when going into and out of trucks. My first delivery was brief (8) big products. Adding a desk with file cabinet. Fortunately – two weeks after when that far away Denver locker was drained, my things were there together with a few Kentucky jump stuff. When the next truck arrived I helped them determine exactly what was mine. They had no clue what was being delivered to me – only that some products were. So my big items were at the trunk – and also the Kentucky-bound bike, etc., boxes. . Were largely in the front. Not one of the individual’s things had stock tags. We started a couple of boxes to be certain they were not mine.
Back to Illinois-based “Platinum Moving & Storage”. When I had been told Platinum Transferring could be my plumber out of Nationwide Relocation Group, I Googled the title. They have good reviews! “Cool” I thought. Along with also the Nationwide folk ensured me (David? ) ) That when matters were ruined it had been in their own interest – along with the movers – to make it appropriate. That happy clients were essential for their organization. That’s the salesman speaking….this isn’t the way matters left out in the long run. Even though Brandy had been friendly and appeared worried, she was not able to provide any actual support and largely did not phone back when guaranteed.
It ends up”Platinum Moving & Storage” is utilizing the actual Platinum Card Moving & Storage title and emblem without their consent! The emblem is in my own Bill of Lading Certification & mails. I didn’t understand this until I moved to depart a Google inspection and watched the place discrepancy. I called the actual Platinum Transferring – lo and behold – they’ve been fielding calls from other miserable moving clients similar tales. The USDOT numbers in my own paperwork belong to another inspector at New Jersey. I’ve since registered formal complaints with BBB in addition to a US government transport website.
Nationwide Relocation maintained Platinum Transferring was their favorite mover – so that I am aware that it’s not a fluke. Additionally, a number of these reviews cite Alex. I also spoke several times with Alex. I really hope I do not need to talk with him again. I actually don’t think he cares one bit about his clients – just their cash. There wasn’t any feeling of concern if my possessions weren’t delivered the very first moment. And no issue for the extensive damage to furniture obviously brought on by inept shipping methods (no blankets? ) ) . No apology for not using the Household Inventory sheets. No explanation for not assessing my speech for truck dimensions adjustments prior to the day of shipping.
Nationwide Relocation has all my pictures of damaged merchandise, they understand my entire story. I think they owe me that the broker charge I paid them since their inspector was/is duplicitous (in my very best opinion). I’d heard movers might be unethical, but I really thought by paying a recognized broker I’d have protection and professionalism.
Where do I begin with this dreadful business.
Incompetent, unprofessional and liars will be the words to explain those men.
I had been helping my son proceed from MN to CA and I purchased a few quotes, but Alex out of Nationwide arrived in two or three hundred $ lower and said the transfer could be between 7-10 times when everybody else said 3 months. I believe myself to be a wise consumer but I didn’t find the bait and switch. BTW I provided Alex using a written record of all of the sizes and items to be sent. Moving quote #2288095
The team picked up the materials and AFTER it had been loaded said it’d be 800 more! The destination price, gas sur-charge and contents have been all more. After asserting for 20 minutes that they said to call Alex that the following day and it could be straightened out.
Long story short, I called Alex and spoke to him 8x at the subsequent 3 months on the reason why it had been 35% greater. I asked him a few times to get a call from his supervisor or proprietor and ya know what I’ve got? NOTHING!! .
Well 3 months after the contents came in CA and that I expected that which was there and never ruined. Guess what? From 39 things, (1) box has been lost (and still is), (1) large screen TV was crushed as well as 21 other things were either shattered or heavily scraped and yes, I have images.
I phoned Alex once more and informed him I wished to submit a claim. He also gave me a call for claims and I’ve telephoned them 10x from the previous 2 months but they haven’t replied or called me back. Then I discovered Alex two gave me the wrong phone # and still to this day will not provide me the promises telephone number!!
At this time my only option would be to trust that we read this review, not hire them. I’ll also file a complaint with the BBB, both FMCSA and AMSA. Incidentally National Relocation Group includes a D- rating with the BBB.
Please do not believe you’re receiving a fantastic deal and squander your cash using Nationwide Relocation. They’re a bait and switch business who underbids one to secure you to book together subsequently shows up and hopes you to pay an additional $$$ to receive every one of your things for your new house. My 100 year-old hutch was heavily ruined so much as my freezer along with other furniture, so I’m not able to find anybody on the telephone to submit a claim. I believed I had been getting a wonderful deal and could be so much less pressure than transferring ourselves, but following the entire event and then the movers who dropped off our items abandoned them at the parking lot since it was further than they agreed upon and that I was not inclined to give anymore money for this sleazy firm!
They shifted their pick-up that the day before they were supposed to pickup that wasn’t a major thing. The movers themselves were great but there were sudden fees I was surprised with. The shipping was designed to take 21 days and I am currently awaiting 45 days. I had been told my furniture was sent then a week later discovered it hadn’t been sent. I then had been told it was two days away just to discover about the 2nd day it was about to take the following 3 times. Following the 3 days have been up I had been told that there was a breakdown and it’d be another four days. They don’t return calls when they say they will and provide you information which isn’t accurate. I wouldn’t recommend them whatsoever.
The pickup and drop off times were organized perfectly with what has been guaranteed to us. Our possessions were transported closely to our new house in Tampa, Florida from Dallas, Texas. The project manager was readily accessible and prepared to help keep me updated concerning the fulfillment of this transport procedure. This is a well orchestrated move!
This moving firm was a lot more careful and accommodating than that I had been expecting. They answered all of my questions before the transfer, left out nothing, were clear and preserved exactly the exact same price point. Thanks again for everything you supplied in this move from Dallas to Alpharetta. I’ve already recommended this service to all of my friends, family and partners.
I had the joy of working with this business since I transferred from Las Vegas to Phoenix recently. They handled the movement like real specialists and had my very best interest in mind when running the selection , up shed off and general communication. Their devotion to a superior movement is reassuring. My items just arrived now, punctually.
Adam in Nationwide Relocation Group produced my move worry free in the first call to the conclusion of my movement. Adam was really professional and I highly recommend his firm to the moving needs.
I recently used National Relocation Group. I must state that Best Movers really went above and beyond my own expectations. Their solutions were fantastic and their workers were so considerate. I managed to get moved a lot quicker than I believed possible to me. I strongly recommend this company if you have some moving needs. They left my move so not as stressful than I anticipated it to be.
Nationwide Relocation Group helped me to organize the transfer and also did a fantastic job. Everybody I worked with was so useful and did exactly what they said they’d do. They’re courteous, professional and thorough. My possessions were managed with caution and everything has been shipped when promised. They called to make sure that everything had gone well and that the movers had came. Highly recommend. Can use again.
Greatest moving company we’ve ever used!! Used them twice already and going to be hiring them for a third time. Adam is incredible, so caring and friendly, he actually goes out of how to make your move as easy as you can. His guys were attentive and great also. Not 1 scratch or any type of harm on anything. Such honest pricing also. Got 3 quotations and this was the cheapest.
Do not look further, employ Nationwide Relocation
This is the finest long distance moving experience I have come across. This was my third time going through something similar to this, though the other two occasions I had been indirectly involved because it had been my parents transitioning from 1 country to another in this time it had been my very own family. According to this expertise, I discovered a great deal of things National Relocation Group did much better than another moving companies I experienced.
They’re professional and extremely knowledgeable about long distance moves plus it shows in their demeanor and total approach throughout the moving process. They keep you educated and understand the value of keeping a precise pickup and drop off program. Highly, highly recommend them to anybody looking for a credible long distance moving firm.
The value that I obtained through this very long distance transfer was great. I had been provided a reasonable cost in my move to Seattle from Texas. My job supervisor kept me informed regarding the status of my possessions and maintained professionalism during all correspondence. Considering I have heard countless horror stories about long distance moves, this one went exceedingly well! Boy, am I glad it did!
