National Van Lines

This is a military movement so price isn’t accurate. Many damaged items because of inadequate packaging and obvious disregard for land. Things were jammed to boxes breaking/damaging materials, furniture ruined during movement because of inadequate positioning in transferring truck. Household products moved to a number of diverse trucks. Items sealed so tight freezer door was bent making the thing unworthy and they refused to substitute or perhaps pay partial price. Inadequate explanation of instruction resulting in refusal to cover complete claim of broken items. Took 5 weeks to acquire claim rid and after again an offer is made, they won’t budge regardless of what evidence you gift. I don’t advise using this moving business.

It’s been a complete NIGHTMARE!! On December 15, 2011 Three Gorillas (United Van Lines builder ) certified a gross weight of 11,800 lbs. That is exactly what we paid $7444.27 for.   Mr. Scott J. Goble from Mountain Moving and Storage (the sales man ) specifically explained that weighing are federally enforced and fraud free. That critical effect will be levied to anybody that messed with them. Currently United Van Lines asserts that the true weight is 12240 lbs. And charged me an extra $810. Who’s lying?   The reweigh difficulty came about when I asked Mr. Goble why I was not able to watch the initial weighing like we consented. He blamed three Gorillas for not following his directions. That is why I asked for the next weighing. That never occurred. United Van Lines did not meet their contractual duties.  
· They neglected to let me watch the weightings.
· They failed to send from the date as scheduled.
· They neglected to let me see the moment or audit any weighing.
· They neglected to send my goods in precisely the exact same condition as you received them.

DO NOT Proceed with National Van Lines. Don’t employ!!! My year old may have packaged us better. BAD COMPANY!! Harm to house if moving.Pack belonging just like it was crap. Stating to people the the company will cover if their any damage..NO THEY DON’T!! Matters came filthy, broken, and filled with rodents. Tons of lost items.  Business played a scams on us and took our things did not even cover the cost of those. They compensated 1/4 of everything they’re worth. Because we can not establish what box our lost things when in they won’t pay! They packaged each room in massive boxes and ditch our items in them.including matches with toilet products, undergarment packed from the restroom trash can!! Business isn’t fair and will steal your items or harm them. RUN!!! Locate another business they cannot be worse then that on.

I picked this line 1). Since the company (Kristy Denkler) did a outstanding job at promoting a bad item. Had I understood what a dreadful experience that will be that I would have remained very far away out of that van lineup. I’d had National Van Lines from the early 90’s in a military movement but these movements are exceptionally monitored and analyzed beginning to finish by a government agent so that movement went well. I needed to move all of the way up into the VP of Marketing and Quality Assurance (Jorga Coulter) who gave up a great deal of lip service but actually didn’t do much. I wasn’t able to even be there although my items were loaded on the semi since I’d around $1200 in flights into my brand new destination and couldn’t alter the trip without paying an additional $1000! National did pay me $1500 but this was BEFORE all of my troubles actually began together. They need to’ve reimbursed me at least half of their $13,500 I paid them! Keep reading! After my items were loaded on the trailer and I had been on my way for my new destination, I had been told from the local representative that gave me that the transfer (Kristy Denkler) that matters went well. I presumed my matters were in their way into me! Nope!! I was ensured my items between 4-7 days when they were wealthy. When I hadn’t heard from National, I phoned them to see when my items would be sent. I discovered that my items were still sitting around the semi at my previous town closed up in National’s lawn! They never informed me that my things weren’t on the road! I specifically told them if they awakened my pickup day, that I did NOT want my items sitting at a storage facility or lawn someplace else and then there they were. Afterward, I had given July 19th since the shipping date just to get it postponed! When my items came, the motorist known with any note nor was I ever called with a coming time, they simply showed up. Now I understand why. They showed up at 8am on the coming day, unannounced and we’re all still asleep not prepared. I worked from 8 am to 7pm nonstop. I tipped these men $200 us gave away two of my televisions because a hint. I understand how challenging going is and I am very generous with support folks. They ate them and they all drank all our soda and water. At 7pm the night, they all stopped functioning. The driver said he had no extra money to cover the movers!!!! I still had glass shirts not unpacked, televisions maybe not unpacked, beds not place together. They simply stopped unpacking my items which was a part of everything I paid for. I discovered our after that night I had money taken in my brothers’ pocket along with other items lost. The only folks in my home were that the movers! Additionally, they abandoned two heaps of things at my previous home and also have had to return two distinct occasions to acquire items left behind. 1) I had been given a shipping date from the sales man and delivered a digital copy of the arrangement. When the driver came it had been changed to two weeks afterwards. I had my things moved daily so that I had no option but to sign.  When trying to speak to my sales rep I got no reply.
2) I was also informed by the sales rep that my shipment could just be loaded once rather than taken to a warehouse to be loaded again onto another truck. The driver advised me once they packaged the items that they would be carrying it to a larger truck to knock it since the driver didn’t work daily. Great.
3) the motorist didn’t bring All the needed items to load my own cargo and consequently had to shoot my 50-inch plasma screen and pictures into the warehouse to pack and load them with no screening, I was advised to simply sign the sheet since That’s how it needed to be performed.   I could always go to the warehouse and then see them if I desired. Too bad I did not plan for an additional visit to the warehouse and had to work that day differently I’d have loved to spend 8-10 hours together.
4) Documentation of the condition of my things was quite unprofessional.   I inquired where he researched the illness and he said oh don’t worry what’s going to arrive the way that they picked it up and everything was in great form. Do not do it! The worst company I have ever hired for ANYTHING period, let alone proceeding. Moved to a brand-new town house in Florida. Brand new structure. He bullied me to registering all of the forms, stating he left a few $40.00 blankets wrapped round my washer & drier, in exchange for never telling National he broke a classic butter churn, ruined a desk & dented, scratched, virtually everything he took.   Got two grease stains on fresh carpeting, stated”these were there” after I pointed out them. Neither the impolite agent or even the rude driver have some company dealing with the General Public.   If You’d like to pay close to $10,000.00 to get someone to ruin your items, by all means, employ National Van Lines, or cover me & I’ll come break it to you!   Nightmare from Begin to finish.   Things they place in storage have been still wrappedup, so that I understand when I visit my brand new washer & dryer & curio cabinet in a month or two, they’ll be ruined also.

RUN, DON’T WALK from NATIONAL VAN LINES! Our expertise with National Van Lines was a nightmare. The representative that signed up us only seemed so efficient and professional once we met her.  We never dreamed we had been becoming a dreadful mess. Everything they state in their PR stuff and on their site is a ridiculous lie! We had been going from Ohio to Florida.  The major day that the movers were supposed to arrive at package, they never showed up.  The following day it took their 3 men and my spouse and myself (in our 60s) functioning in a sweaty heat for from the vehicle — all day till 6:00 pm.  The truck has been nothing similar to the rep explained it – just one little truck and it is a wonder everything match.  Subsequently the driver told us he did not mean to start driving to FL for 4 times.  Late the afternoon before they were supposed to arrive, the driver called to say the truck had been broken down in Cleveland!  As soon as I told the driver I never gave him permission to carry all of my worldly possessions to Cleveland (5 hours NORTH of the death in Cincinnati) he stated”I really don’t want your permission”.  We predicted that we could but nobody was accountable for Someone called Lisa stated she worked for individuals in Rhode Island, the motorist said he worked for individuals in Illinois.  Nobody knew what caused the break down but we had been advised that nobody could even examine the truck for days.

When the truck finally came was a different truck using another driver, everything was moved. The new driver made an elaborate series of having us see whether he started the seal onto the truck.  This was such a joke because this wasn’t the truck which left our property. Boxes marked”delicate” were smashed, a costly seat was broken. It had been obvious whoever did the move wasn’t interested at the”special handling of delicate items”.
The men who unloaded the truck had been local folks contacted in the last moment, not workers of NVL.  They were adequate, but denied to unpack mirror crates that the movers at Ohio packed.  They showed us that the movers’ directions stating they did not need to change them.  We eventually got them to take action — it took them all of about 3 minutes. 5 months later got a bill for $50 with this particular unpacking! I never saw such a degree of incompetence and arrogance. They clearly did not bother to sit down and map out the way they were planning to accomplish this movement.  Everything was done by the seat of the trousers. We proceeded from MA to FL with really brief notice.  Lisa Varzino in National Van Lines has been Wonderful! National Van Lines is amazing!  I had been working with a broker for a different firm which was be such a terrible experience which I changed to National less than fourteen days prior to my transfer.  I had been quite concerned about the time and Aaron Bacon was excellent in helping alleviate my nervousness and also keep me informed of what had been occurring across the way.  The motorist, Carl Smith, has been also very professional and useful.  I strongly suggest National Van Lines and could certainly use them again.

National Van Lines has been fantastic. I’ve used them twice and I’d use them again in a heartbeat. Everyone I dealt with, by the office personnel into the movers were courteous and professional. Quite honestly, at the next time that I used them, we ran right into a little snag and it required somewhat longer to send than anticipated. The team had been right along with it, called and kept me updated, and also paid me for the annoyance. I’m very impressed with the professionalism of those involved. My items were well cared for and delivered with caution. I frankly can’t say enough about National. National Van Lines needed my stuff for more than a half a month. They told me that my stuff will arrive on Monday but than they stated the truck broke down and I wouldn’t get it until Friday. Supposedly the driver was assume to lmk but he never did. I mean if you’re carrying $4000 value of ppls stuff do not you believe that they need to have more dependable trucks. They are not low on budget might tell you that far. We had to sleep in an air matress for a long time. As I am sitting here writing this I’m still awaiting my stuff that was suspect to already be here this afternoon. I already paid them so I hope they bring my things. The only reason I gave them a 1.5 is bc the men that picked up my things wherever pleasant. Overall there ought to be better choices out there.

After assessing several movers I joined with Lisa Varzine in National I understood at once our problems were over. The only bad part of the entire encounter was that the next day of packaging , the movers were quite late for the two pick ups (they needed to shuttle my possessions from the storage device due to the terrain). Just got our settlement test for damages! Just what a rip-off joke! They assert that there wasn’t any evidence that our things were ruined by them since they could not tell that which boxes the things came from and that packaged them. The driver that delivered the things stated that there was 90 days to submit a claim, because he didn’t wish to remain there while we started every box to evaluate its situation. So due to that we’re stuck with this particular settlement. Why arbitrate, life is too short!
The 3rd party firm they employed, Gorilla packaging, was futile. They accused us of not packaging half of the items, which our representative didn’t inform us that we needed to perform. Obviously we did some packaging but we had been paying for the movement not National Van Lines!
When they unloaded the vehicle, both helpers were all friends of the motorist, not even affiliated with National Van Lines.
This wasn’t our first movement, because we moved in Hawaii into Reno, back into Hawaii, to California and today to Washington State. National Van Lines has been the worse, but then I figure you get everything you paid for.

My customer service representative that was working with me advised me that there wasn’t a”window” for my own items to be sent –about fourteen days, which is simply absurd; nonetheless, she promised me my items could be in my brand new place in around a week. Like an idiot, so I took her word on this. My things did not only take fourteen days ago, but was really LATE since the driver did not need to send to the previous day which they needed to send, i.e. the previous day of this window. He had been watching a soccer match and has been drinking. Amazing. Once was all said and done, I got a link to your poll which didn’t do the job. I had been told I’d find a functioning connection. This has been a week and a half a year ago. Haha, fat chance! They make you register up for delivery telling you which you’ve got nine months to submit a claim but then once you submit a claim that they inform you that you confirmed that all your items were there upon delivery. Completely unprofessional workers and I’d avoid using them at all prices!!! Largest tear off. They dropped things and refuse to compensate us for them.

Warning! Never, ever use Proceed Central or National Van Lines. My brother recently used National Van Lines to move from San Diego to Virginia. All seemed fine till he really proceeded. Because by brother is handicapped he paid extra to get them disassemble the furniture and then package everything. If they took to big captains bed apart the did not package the components. Therefore, once the furniture came in VA the mattress could not place the bed together until he hired somebody to purchase the components and put it together. Another alternative was to wait for the next when the moving business could send somebody. On to the broken furniture. The base of the dresser was smashed in, the final table had a bit broken off and the timber was scraped.
Next the missing things. 1 box was lost. The one containing all of his electronic equipment, audio cancelling headphones, Alexa, E Reader, etc.. When we registered a claim that they came back stating that because it was not noted on shipping we’re SOL. Their own paperwork states we’ve got 90 days from shipping.

I’m giving one star only because zero stars isn’t an alternative. I contracted with National Van Lines to move my home products from California to New Hampshire. 19 days after, my products are still sitting in a warehouse in California. They haven’t even left the State. Upon calling National, I’m not being told that my things will be delivered even later than expected. I wouldn’t suggest this moving service in any way. I’m being offered a 50 dollar compensatory offering for my own troubles for every day that the shipment is overdue, but that does little to assuage the reality that I’m camping in my brand new home free of household things. Read all of the fine print at the transferring contracts and also beware of exceptionally long shipping windows.

Though National Van Lines was competitively priced, we wouldn’t recommend them based on quite a few things which didn’t fulfill our expectations.
1. On movement out day, they sent a truck which didn’t come close to fitting our 4 bedroom house, in spite of the fact that somebody from National had formerly completed a walk through of our house to check the truck area we’d need. Within minutes of this motorist arriving, he explained there isn’t any way they can fit all of our stuff.
2. We needed to immediately split our items into essentials and non-essentials because a sizable part of our things had to move on another truck. 3. The movers badly damaged our stairway on transfer out day two because of carelessness. This resulted in the treadmill to fold upward while they were transferring it, literally becoming stuck in our stairway, which damaged the walls and rail at the procedure.
4. On move in day number 1, the movers almost left without building among our beds. After we stopped them since they had been on their exit , they stated they could not locate the components although they were the individuals who disassembled them. After more searching, the bits to the bed was at the glove box onto the truck, so had they left we would not have managed to build the beds ourselves.
5. On move in day number two, the movers could not find the bits to build another mattress. Contrary to the first time round, these movers didn’t attempt and leave without telling us concerning the unassembled mattress. They eventually discovered the bits wrapped up together with our treadmill.
6. One of the truck drivers was unprofessional and offensive. For starters, he did not bring cash with him to cover the movers when loading, so that I had to push him to the lender. In addition, he shouted at and left mean comments regarding the movers many times through the day. To make things worse, he also made homophobic remarks, which we discovered to be somewhat offensive.
7. We never received a coming time for your truck on move in day number 1. We were even on the telephone with National the evening before the truck came and they said we’d get a telephone with a certain arrival time. The truck driver called us that the dawn of the transfer in, saying he’d been in the home for half an hour and that they were unloading our items into the deck and driveway. We had to hurry over to the home (from our resort downtown, 30 minutes off ), which wasn’t how we wanted to begin our move into our new residence.

Ving was simple and worry free. Aaron helped me envision every thing, then when it came time to load and then boat, my items have been cared for. Our driver, Danny, known as provide updates and has been amazingly polite and helpful. Excellent experience all around.

If perfection is unattainable, the expertise of working for this business was as close to perfection as it might be! Our representative, Sam Meredith, was quite professional, educated, patient, and also receptive when we wanted him. The movers themselves were as close to perfect as perfect can be. William, our primary mover was respectful, professional, and required some excess measure we asked. He even offered the excess step. Throughout a generally stressful period, Sam and William did whatever they can to relieve some anxiety, inside their own power. Side note, we’ve got an extremely hard couch. It is large, broad, tight, and also we moved from apartment to apartment using sparse hallways. Past movers/delivery men whined and threatened to be unable to bring it all in. William, at a fresh change of pace from preceding movers, stated,”We will get it, do not stress,” and sure enough did it without any complaints. Next time we want a moving company, we are likely to specifically ask Sam as an agent, also William as a freelancer. 5 out of 5!

Moving day. Truck arrives. Obviously I am not prepared. Suffice to state had my Son not been around to intervene, maybe 45% could have been transferred. However, the boys loading pitched in & approximately 70 percent went Despite vehement protests from the motorist.

After I signed up the moving contract all I heard was”that the packers would be the boss” The driver would be your boss” The”packers” refused to package cabinets, garage, loft, outside furniture. Following 20 minutes of”we do not package that” I inquired”What Can you package?” Anything? Then package that.”

Greater than 40%.

Transferring day in case my Son & neighborhood contract labour weren’t there that the”boss” motorist would not have allowed packaging. Since it was he denied many products. Funny how the quote of burden was true. . .leaving 40 percent of my things behind.

Inferior firm. Horrible experience. If you have to use them DoNot squander cash on packers. Do it yourself or employ your own independent builder. Refuse to get bullied.

I’m handicapped. I simply opened my storeage following quarintine.
